Excited to be here.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Man, So grateful that you're here. It's an honor. What's
going down. How's California? How's your day?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
It's been good.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
It's crazy that right now where you are, it's so
cold over here. We're like in the sixties, so we're
getting some sun. Yeah, so I'm kind of already missing
the colder weather.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Oh Man, Colorado will be your state. Not for me though.
I'm a summer person, and so I need that hot
weather sent over here as soon as possible, please, I gotcha. Hey,
that's so cool. That's so cool. Hey, So I'm so
happy you were able to come onto the show. I
know you're busy doing your things music, you're performing, you're acting,

(03:03):
and so can you please tell us a little bit
about yourself and how we can support you.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah. So I'm a soul.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
I was born in Mexico, raised in Texas, and now
we're in California.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
So, oh that's me.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
That's my Instagram on everything in a sul Towers on.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
TikTok, Spotify, Apple Music.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Title, all your streaming platforms, you can find me under
as sul Towers.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, that's awesome. Can you tell us a little bit
about your music and acting.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, so I haven't done a lot of acting recently.
I did a lot of short films back in El
Paso and was on the New Mexico c W.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Show Dolos, so that was super fun.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
But recently I've just really been focusing on well school
and music. So right now we're about to release an album.
It's gonna be called Blood on My Hands. And I
think this is the first time I'm announcing the name,
so it's a big moment for this podcast. But no, yeah,
it's coming out in March this month.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
We're excited for it.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Nice you said March. It's coming out this year, March
twenty twenty five, ladies and gentlemen, and it's called Blood
on My Hands. Oh my goodness. And we do have
a music exclusive. I wouldn't say that just to say
that we got the song, the hit song that's gonna
be off that track off that album. I got it
right here. Well you I do have it ready, and

(04:42):
it's called Let's See I got it right here, but
drown yes, oh my goodness, which means the heife.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, the heife the boss.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
So I'm excited that that one like I made.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Honestly, my mom inspired it a little bit because I've
always seen her grinding, Like I feel like, ever since
I was so young, some of my first jobs were
because she was grinding. So I was like her assistant.
So she's gonna cry when she like, here's me because
I know she's gonna listen and be like, oh but no,

(05:20):
because because I grew up with that and like just
her instead of like trying to be an employee, she
was always you know, making her own grind, starting her
own businesses, and she's still doing that to this day.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I don't think i've seen that woman sit down.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
So I was like, you know what, like the same
way that these Corrido songs and these Regaeton songs are like,
oh look at my watch and my girls and my mansion,
and I'm so like this, and I'm like like women too,
man like, like we'd be doing stuff too. We'd be hippis,
we be hiphas and all that. So when I heard
ed Patron, I was like, Okay, at Patron Why why

(05:53):
does he have to be a guy like El Patron
can be anyone, anybody can be Atron.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
That's right, Hey, good mindset right there looking at the
big picture. Hey, and shout out to our moms. I
love my mom so much, So that's so cool. I
can't wait until she hears this episode and just hear's
you just and by her her work ethic and just
her being a boss. And the name of the song
is but drawn. That's what I'm talking about it hefe
that's so cool. And you said that you were born

(06:23):
in Mexico, which part tell you? Let me tell you something.
That's where my dad comes from.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Two.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
But we got the same psalm as well that we
like to say as well. And you got it on
your Instagram. I got I think I got it right here.
Let me pull it up right here. Yeah, I check it.
We'll pull it up real fast right here, and then
we'll get straight into the business. Here we go right there.
If you look at it, it says Psalm one twenty one,
verse two, Someone twenty one verse two, the help comes
from the Lord who made heaven and earth. I got

(06:55):
some right here. One It goes like this, everybody, I
know you got your bibles here with Yeah, like I do.
I was right here. I will lift up my eyes
to the hills from whence comes my help. My help
comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He
will not allow my foot to be moved. He who
keeps me will not slumber. The Lord is your keeper.
The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The

(07:16):
sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon
by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil.
He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your
going out. And you're coming in from this time forth
and even forevermore. And that's what it is right there, man,
that's all I gotta say right there in Jesus' name. Amen, boom,

(07:41):
All right, let's get into it. That was so strong.
I give all the glory to my Lord and savor
Jesus Christ. Yes I do. Let's get straight into the business.
Here we go. The first question I got for you
is what is it that you like about being a
recording artist? And I got your music here, so we'll
be gemmining here in just a second.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I think I like that you get to connect to
different aspects of life, So you like, say, writing music,
you get to connect with yourself because I'm sorry, I'm
babysitting my roommate's cats, So you might see some kiddies
on the screen. But it helps you connect with yourself
because then you're thinking of what emotions do I want

(08:21):
to put into words right now? What emotions do I
want to put into sounds right now?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
What am I feeling? What am I seeing?

Speaker 3 (08:27):
What's going on? It could be about something that's never
happened and you're just imagining it and then just seeing
the way that that connects with other people and just
different aspects of the world. Like it brings people together music,
So to be part of that ocean, even if you're
like a drop of just like something that's in movement,

(08:49):
it just it feels good.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
It feels good.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt. I like what you said. Music
brings people together, and it sure does. It sure does.
And how long have you been working on your album
just dropping in March? How long have you been working
on that?

Speaker 3 (09:03):
I want to say about a year, if not a
little bit more, if not a little bit less. But yeah,
I've already released it has a couple of singles on
it are already out. But you know, there's still there's
still some room for some new tracks on there. So yeah,
it's it's a work in progress, but it's it's almost done.
We're just doing the finishing touches and.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Then releasing cool cool guys, get ready for that it
comes out. Do you know which day on March or
just you don't have a date yet from March.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Sometime in March.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Towers on Instagram for updates.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Oh yeah, let's bring that up. Let's let everybody know
where they can follow you real fast. I had it
right here, guys. Let me bring it up real fast
and then we're gonna listen to it. But drawing, I
got it ready, here we go, I got I got it. Zoom,
we got to share boom. I do this all the time,
and I'm always like acting like I don't know what
I'm doing. Guys. The Instagram handle to follow a suit

(10:02):

That's sule Towers. It's a z u l t o
w e r s. You can't miss it. You can
see all the creative right there. And senior actress lost
doing it in Mexico, Texas, California. She's got the link tree.
Make sure you look that up the loss doing it?

(10:23):
Oh yeah, and how long have you been in school?
Are you almost done or you're just starting?

Speaker 2 (10:29):
I just started.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
So it's my second semester of the first year.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Hey, so you know you've done the AI A collaborative.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yes, yeah, do you know that?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Oh yeah, Sir Isaac's like my boy, He's like my brother.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Awesome.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Yeah. It came to Alpasso in December of not even
Lost here Anymore the year before that, and so it
was super cool. I got to perform, a bunch of
other creatives got to perform.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
It was it was a good time.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Did you meet Sir Isaac yet? I did?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Yeah, Yeah, he was super cool.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah, yeah, he's tight. So I've done two events with
him in California and I and then he came to
Denver and we did one here, actually did two in
Denver last year and yeah it was lit. So I've
been with him. I've been with him for four events.
I tried to go with him in Chicago this year,
but it was so at the last minute, so I
wasn't able to make it to that one. But yeah,
that's that's my boy right there, straight up. So shout

(11:27):
out to my boy. Sir Isaac. Guys, let's listen. Yeah,
no doubt, no doubt. Here we go. I'm gonna put
the I'm gonna put the the single on right now.
But it's gonna be playing here guys. Here we go,
but thrown from a suit of Towers. Hey, if you
want to say anything about the song or tell us
a little bit about it while it's playing, you let
us know, or it's not. Just let it ring. Here
we go. Nice, there you go. Is that available on YouTube?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Yes, I'm gonna I'm gonna try to upload it with
lyrics one of these days so that I could also
be up there like on my official page, because I
think right now it's only up through like the distributors YouTube.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
So not a problem, you know what. I got it
right here. We tried to find it real fast. You
know what, Before we do that, I want everybody to
I want everybody to start following you on the Instagram.
We gave the handle to that. Let me give the
handle to the YouTube so we can follow that too.
That's big time. Here you go, guys. Everybody on three
two one subscribe boom that. Hey, that's a suit tower.

(13:01):
You got your own handle. That's so cool assue towers.
That's a zy U L t O W E r S.
That's lit right there. Okay, let me find patron. We
got three months ago towers.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
You would have to like look it up on the
search and patron some towers because it's not on my
official page yet unfortunately, but it'll be up there soon.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
And I thank you for reminding me that I haven't
put it up.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
It's you know, it's a it's a working progress. I understand.
I'm trying to do things left and right here too,
so it's it's cool. That's cool. Hey, so you got
Luna from three months ago. You got alcohol le Moon
three months ago. The eyes chicos sounds like like a scarf.
I remember that sounds like scarface right there. And promised

(13:54):
Land and it's happening. You drop some you drop some
videos like the last three months, I dropped some videos
or it says it just says under video like.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Did I no?

Speaker 3 (14:09):
I think I think my most recent music video was
Mars with Gemini J I don't remember how I think
that was like towards the summer of last year, so
like July and then the live recording on there. The
it's called unmixed up plug So it's just me with
a band and we do some of my songs but
like with instruments, so it's some cool stuff.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Yeah, you had to choose one of those songs to
play right now? What would it be?

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Ah, ooh ooh, that's a good quest, like right now,
Like what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yeah, right right now? Luna or alcohol you lemon? Which
one would you want to listen right now? For the audience?

Speaker 3 (14:49):
I think I think Luna is Yeah, that sounds a
good one.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Let's get there.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
We go.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Nice, yes, you guys, what's the lights?

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Sins? Good again?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Off time.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
She lights the dome so she can get a.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
H nice.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Chang st st Sten.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Laying the guitar in the background. You're watching this live
because you a cat dancing ladies and gentlemen. The beat

(16:48):
is dope. Who just like that? There you go? That

(17:28):
was an exclusive right there, Luna A suit towers, A
suit Towers Luna right there, that's the name of the song.
You could catch that on her YouTube and it was
easy to find. We got another hit coming through Gemini
Jay and a Suit Towers Mars official music video were
about to beat Gemini here in just a bit I
try to look for a patron. I did not I do.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Oh, okay, well, after this podcast, it'll be up.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
It's all right. I'm trying to like, I just can't
get it on these iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify. Maybe, uh
maybe I can go get in the Spotify. I'll check
it out here. Other than that, we just uh, here
we go, here, we go to see I don't know clothes.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Oh that's whack. Yes, that's that's that's on my end.
I just I thought that's just on my end. Guys,
let's just keep it going here. We got another track
coming yo, a sue. So I got another question here.
Have you ever been to Colorado?

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I haven't, no, but I have family there and they
always say good things about it.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Nice families shouting you out, shouting you out to come through.
That's so cool.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
I love coming out to California. I got family out
there too, and I hit up the beaches a lot
out there.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Well, I'm in Sacramento, so I'm not really by the beach.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
But got it, got it. Yeah, I always hit up
LA and it's cool. So Sacramento is that North California? Yeah, Yeah,
it's cool. Cool, got the question right here. Let's keep
it going. Oh, this one's a good one. What have
you learned your biggest lesson from doing this music career?

(19:27):
What is the biggest lesson you've learned from like making music,
from getting bookings? What is the biggest lesson do you
like vocal lessons practicing?

Speaker 3 (19:36):
What is it? I think just not comparing yourself to
people because there's so much talent out there that it
is so easy to start getting like.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Imposter syndrome or like, oh my gosh, how could I
do it?

Speaker 3 (19:51):
When this person's doing all this and like I can't
even like get a podcast, you know, like so so
it's it is like a constant struggle of like am
I not doing enough?

Speaker 2 (20:02):
And seeing what other people are doing?

Speaker 3 (20:04):
But at the end of the day, like it was
a tough pill to swallow, but a good lesson to
learn to just not pay attention to that you're competing
with yourself from yesterday, and if you want to make
them better, that's on you, and if you don't, then
it's on you. But if you're trying to compare it
to other people, then you're gonna end up with with
results that aren't yours because you're trying to take what

(20:24):
somebody else's and you're not being open to what's meant
for you.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
So yeah, I like what you said not to compare
yourself and just keep focusing on you and doing your
your creative and putting it out there and seeing what
Just throwing it all out there and see what happens.
You know. That's so cool because you got your album
coming out, you got those songs on YouTube, and that
song that you we just played Luna. I really dig

(20:53):
the guitar part. I don't know if that was a
bass or a guitar in the background. Dud duh, dun dun.
I thought that was so cool.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Yeah, thank you. I didn't I didn't make it, but
it was pretty cool when I found it too. I'm like,
oh my gosh, I need to write to this. And
I was so I was kind of just playing some
beats on YouTube, like while I was driving and just
I was trying to get some inspiration, I guess, and
then I pulled up to like a stop light and
then the light had the street name on it and

(21:21):
it was Moon, and I don't know, but at just
the Moon, and.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Then like a whole song was written, like on that
drive like it was. I love that song.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
It was meant to be m m. That was the
universe talking to you right there.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
I think, so so cool.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Hey, we got another question here and it goes like this,
what is the coolest accomplishment you're proud of?

Speaker 4 (21:47):
M hmm.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
I think right now, just moving up here on my own,
like my family's in Texas, So moving up here and
starting law school I think was pretty big. I think
even just the process of getting into law school, like
it's it's like the test el SATs.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
And everything and your locations, like it was it. I
grind it for it, Like I.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
I'm proud of myself because like my parents saw me
every day in my room just on my laptop studying
every day. So then when like I finally got in
and was like, okay, well it's time to move out here.
To me, that's that's a big accomplishment.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
So you always had the back of your mind that
you were going to be leaving Texas to California.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah, yeah, I knew I was gonna leave.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Wow, that's great. Hey, which in Texas did you? Were
you like in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, dfdub El Paso, five,
nine one five in the building right now, Ladies and gentlemen,
nine one five in the arena today. The next question
here it goes like this, what's the least part you

(22:55):
like about being a recording artist? What's the least part?

Speaker 3 (23:02):
I don't know how to like record my own music,
Like I have to go to a studio and a
producer for that, and it's just frustrating to have to
depend on that because it's like, Okay, when am I
going to the studios?

Speaker 2 (23:19):
When I have like money to go to the studio?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Okay, now I have money, okay, but when is there
time to go to the studio, you know, as opposed
to like if I could do it in my room,
like I would totally just get my mic and be
recording and have like ten albums, but by now already out.
So I think just just like all the components that
go into it, which I'm so grateful, and I love
going to the studio. I love my producers. I've worked
with some great people, so it's like pros and cons,

(23:44):
but definitely sometimes it's just frustrating, or even like getting
covers for songs, I think that might be the most
frustrating because it's always like I have this great song,
I want to release it, Well, what's the cover?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Now?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
We have to like plant.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
It's it's a very grateful like thing, like I'm great
that I'm complaining about it because I'm happy that I
get to do it. But it is just a lot
of like like stress sometimes. And my photographer last time
was like, you know that you're an artist when it's work,
like if you were an artist and be like, hey,
but when it's work, like that's when you know, because

(24:18):
that's when you know you're taking it seriously.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
There you go, Yeah, and maybe you know, I believe
in one day you will have your own recording equipment.
You know it doesn't you just get your you know,
just get your you know right, I don't know. For me,
it was just a I got my MacBook, I got
my microphone, and I got that thing where you plug
in everything so that you can start recording, and I
got you know, so yeah, I can see you doing

(24:42):
That'll be cool.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Thank you. Yeah you're recording on your own, Like props
to you already, because I've tried to learn and it
is there's.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
A lot easy, but.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeah, it's like it's engineering. It's engineering sound. So it's
it's really impressive when people do so.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Props to you.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Hey, I understand, and I mean you got all those things,
you know, the microphone. You got to connect everything and
make it go through your computer to run everything. So
it's it's not like plug and play and you're ready
to go. You gotta do a lot of things. And uh, hey,
co caat too. By the way, I got a cat too.
He's nine years old and his name is Coca Nut. Oh, Coconut, Coconut.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
That's cute.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yeah, this is Ava.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
She's my roommates.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
She's not mine, but she's starting to give me some allergies.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
What's up, Ava? That's so cool? Hey, I got the
question here. It goes like this, what inspired you to
become a recording artist? What inspired you?

Speaker 3 (25:44):
I've been singing for a long time, Like I've been
singing since I could remember I was speaking, I was singing,
and I guess I really liked the idea of like
theater and like musical theater, but then just the idea
of being able to do something like like that in
ourn artistic perspective and then be able to capture it

(26:07):
like you can't record theater you'd like get kicked out
of the theater there if you're trying to record a production, right,
so it's harder to like capture it and just being
able to like like capture capture the voice and capture
the music and have it for like everybody to have access.
Like yeah, So I think I think it started like

(26:27):
in the theater realm, and then I decided like no,
like I want, I want to take this to where
you don't have to like be there to experience it,
like I you can have it in your home. It's
it's I wrote the song, but now it's yours. You
do what you want, it's yours.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
So yeah, got it. I got it. Hey, you know
when you're not busy with law school, when you're not
busy trying to write music, and you know, what are
some favorite hobbies you like to do when you have
some time for yourself? Like do you play basketball? Do
you play video games? Do you go skydiving? What's up?

Speaker 3 (27:08):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, I sped every Thursday. No, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
I'd be way too scared for that, I think right now,
just because of like how busy things are. If I
have any free time, it's gonna go to like watching
listening to a podcast, watching some whatever free movies are online,
and just.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Just chilling, just taking a breath.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
I do try to make time to gym, but like
if we're talking like free time, like hobby, I'd rather
just kick back and just enjoy the day.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Hey, I get that. I get that. I sometimes doing
nothing is a lot of fun. I'm not doing anything.
I just like to just chill, watch some you know,
like I watched Leave It to Beaver, so I can
put that on that that's just makes that just makes
my day, or just you know, I got to practice
guitar stuff and two and stuff. But when I don't
have to do any of that, I just like to
chill and not do nothing.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Yeah yeah, no, it's it's the best. It's the best.
And I don't know.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
I'm not a person that like doesn't like to be alone.
Like I love my solitude. So when I am like
i'd rather just just kick back. My friends hit me up,
They're like you want to go out, and I'm like, girl,
Like it's already nine pm.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
I'm like in my.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Bonnet, like no way, yeah, I'm with you there by
seven eight o'clock. I'm like I'm chilling when when it
turns dark, I'm chilling at home. So yeah, no doubt
it's a good answer. Hey, we have four minutes left.
I told you this would fly by four minutes left.
We're gonna play. I'm gonna try to get a patron
on right now. Let's see if I can get it
going here. I got it on iHeart while we were

(28:43):
talking here for just a second. And if that don't work,
and then we'll listen to the other song, Mars. So
here we go. Hang onm on, come on, iHeart, you
got me? No, No, that's whack. Come on please? Oh
maybe that was it.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Yeah, I gave you like two seconds.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
I'm glad you caught it because a lot of people
at the end are like, so what happened?

Speaker 2 (32:39):
It's like you didn't see him take the suitcase?

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Are you not paying attention? Come on the whole swipe.
Oh my gosh. Okay, we got a mid last of
the minute, left, last question of the day. It goes
like this, and if you hear music in the background,
that's the outro music producer. Get ready. Last question of
the day. If someone's going through a tough time, what
advice would you give them?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Pray?

Speaker 3 (33:01):
Pray Even if you're not religious, pray, pray.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
That's all you could do. What else are you gonna do?

Speaker 5 (33:07):
Cry?

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Cry, to cry and pray? But that'd be the short answer.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Hey, great answer. Hey, that's an amazing answer for me. Guys,
you heard that if you're going through a tough time, pray,
even if you're not religious or spiritual, you can just
pray and watch what happens. I believe that one hundred percent.
