Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is Arrow unplugged.
When it's extremely difficult to make up your mind. It's
called the power of choice, and having the power of
choice can actually weaken your heart. On this episode, we're

(00:20):
going to explore why there's a sudden shift in religion.
Why are people walking away? Plus with so much bad weather,
is it really a bad idea to shower during a thunderstorm?
My name is Arrow. Life is a series of choices.
Who decides when you're not making the right choice? Is
it a fear of going wrong? The greatest lessons in

(00:41):
life are often lost inside hidden away attempts and concepts. Well,
it's time to reopen your heart. Having that power of
choice is your daily gift. On this highway, we've got
to learn how to trust mirages. What is the choice?
With so much unrest in the world today, war, famine,
the economy, a government you can't trust. Are people making

(01:03):
the choice to walk away from religion? Why would a
higher power choose to let any of this even happen? Right? Well,
the answer is yes, people are walking away. People are
turning their backs all over the world. The term is
called religious disaffiliation, the rise of nuns, not in uns,

(01:24):
but nuns n ees, those who answer to none. What's
the story behind our open door to walk away from
religious studies? Well, distrust, scandals, political entanglements, and perceived hypocrisy.
There's a real generational shift evolving on the streets of
this everyday world. Gen zers and younger aren't buying into

(01:47):
the older generations. Spiritual studies, science and rationalism have opened
the door for people to truly see what the preacher
is bringing and they are going ah, a A but but,
but but but are some areas of the world that
are seeing higher numbers in church attendance, like Africa and
parts of Asia. It's reported that those who have left

(02:08):
the world of religion have actually discovered spirituality, which if
you properly study it, there is a big difference, and
believe it or not, it's more rewarding. Hey, coming up next,
all of this bad weather around the world, and my
wife looks at me and says, don't ever take a
shower during a thunderstorm? What is she talking about? Hey,

(02:31):
thanks for coming back to the choice. The entire planet
is currently experiencing very bad weather. It's affecting our lifestyle
or should I say, our time in a shower or bath.
Is it really a bad idea to take a bath
or shower during a thunderstorm? The experts say, don't even
think about it. Stay completely away from that space in

(02:53):
your home. If lightning strikes in your home or someone nearby,
the electrical current can travel through through plumbing and hit
you when you least expect it. The CDC warns us
to stay completely away from all things plumbing, including washing
your hands and doing the dishes, even touching the water faucet.

(03:13):
So when can we make the choice to return to
a normal lifestyle, I mean, I gotta go. It suggested
that you wait thirty minutes from the last clap of thunder.
The weather experts aren't laughing this off. It is not
an urban legend. They believe lightning is very unpredictable and
very deadly. Rarely do we ever hear about someone dying
while sitting on the john when lightning strikes. They do

(03:37):
suggest that you use great precautions and if you do
have to go, do not flush the john. It is
a choice. I'm arrow, and that's what I was reading
while the sun was waking up on a brilliant new day.
