Speaker 1 (00:00):
I like asking questions, and the reason why is because
the fund begins when you start researching for answers such as,
how do con artists keep coming up with clever ways
to rip people off? Plus? Is there a difference between
your physical age and mental age? My name is Erro.
I'm a daily writer, a silent wolf. I stand on
the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen, study, then activate.

(00:22):
I happen to call it the daily Mess, a chronological
walk through an everyday world. Yeah, it's my morning writing
as a receiver of thoughts and ideas. We as people
tend to throw things to the side because we think
we're going to deal with it later. Well, when a
subject arrives inside of me, I know it's time to
dig in. It's still keeping that daily journal, but by

(00:43):
doing the research, the picture becomes clearer. This is the
daily mess? How do con artists keep coming up with
clever ways to rip people off? Mental health experts waste
absolutely no time exposing how con artists stay extremely creative.
They're compared to inventors, always adapting to human behavior, technology

(01:05):
and current events. But but, but but but Instead of
solving problems, the con artist is always looking for ways
to truly exploit them. Con artists study human psychology. They
know how a normal person fears, seeks urgency, and is
overflowing with compassion. A con artist knows how to push
our emotional buttons. They're very good at recycling and tweaking

(01:29):
old tricks like the Nigerian prints email. You've got that
and then it becomes a fake IRS refund. As one
expert says, the bones of the scam are the same.
It's the costume that changes. And yes, most con artists
share ideas with each other. Most of them jump onto
new tools before law enforcement actually regulates them. Con artists

(01:52):
are in the business to make money. They know how
to get into your walk and way, and they're gonna
pull whatever they can from you. Coming up next, is
there a difference between your physical age versus your mental age? Hey,
thanks for coming back to the Daily Mess at the

(02:12):
age of sixty three. I don't mind telling people that mentally,
I'm really actually seventeen. Mental age versus physical age is
it a real thing? The answer is yes. Physical age
is one hundred percent based on the number of years
you've been planted on this planet. Mental age is a
term from early IQ testing. It's the intellectual performance compared

(02:34):
to the average for a certain chronological age. Let's break
this down the difference between your physical age and mental age.
We're talking dementia or a brain injury. Your personality and
lifestyle play in to your mental age. Playfulness, curiosity, and
your willingness to learn new things. Then comes life experiences, trauma,

(02:56):
and responsibilities can really affect your mental age, making you
feel much older than younger. One mental health leader clearly
paints the best picture. Physical age is inevitable, but mental
age is adaptable and is very flexible. Doctors tend to
lean on the term your biological age, which can be

(03:17):
younger or older than your physical age. I'm Meryl, and
that's the daily mess.
