Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is arrow unplugged.
Mysobanem in martial arts used to tell us all the time,
you can practice all you want, but if you're practicing poorly,
then you're never going to master the true art of
where you are. Awareness is the key thing in everything
(00:23):
that we do. But the problem with awareness is we
see it and then we have a reaction. Most of
us like to say, uh uh, don't have time to
deal with that today, when in reality, the reason why
you saw it is because you were supposed to take
that time to do something about it, to make yourself aware.
Because the older we get and the more we experience
this everyday world that we're currently living in, there's so
(00:46):
much going on that we're taking our awareness and we're
walking away from it. We're not listening to the exercises
that are required to make sure that your skills on
the awareness factor are extremely sharp. Hey, Caeryl, this is
the choice. This is what I was writing while the
sun was waking up on a brilliant new day. As
(01:07):
of late my mornings have begun with meditation, calming the
mind and heart before anxiety takes over my path the
very second I touch my smartphone. Now, the experts believe
that meditation first thing in the morning is actually a
great habit. Meditation shifts our focus from physical to mental.
(01:28):
But there's a downfall, at least for me there is.
I feel almost too calm. I mean, we live in
this age where getting up in the morning should resemble
a rocket shooting into space. I mean, look at what
we do for almost thirty to sixty minutes after taking
our first step of the day. We're out there on
that highway fighting the traffic, then walking into a job
(01:49):
which is bathed in stress. Waking up my calm self
is a walk with awareness, keeping in mind. To meditate
is a shift of our focus from physical to mintal
to help each and every one of us to find
that physical place. Now, what I like to do is
I like to take a very early morning walk with
(02:11):
my dog Jazzy through the forest. And today, after meditating,
what did we see three beautiful deer with their winter
coats already? I mean it was only like forty nine degrees,
a light breeze, the forest was calm except for a
rin one single bird in the tree, singing away, enjoying
(02:33):
everything about the birth of this brand new day, Calming
the mind, learning the importance of what meditation can do
for you before you shoot out of bed, hit the shower,
get breakfast, out the door. You gough, We're a stress mess,
is what we are. Try it sometime. Pick up a
(02:53):
book called Nidra, Nidra, Meditation n Idra. Now, don't just
do it, study it, understand it, have a full view
of you. I'm Marirow, and that's what I was writing
while the sun was waking up on a brilliant new day.
