Speaker 1 (00:00):
You see it all the time on the commercials. Go
to this side, go to that website. Hey, if you
go here, you'll get more and more, more and more
and more. But wait, there's even more. No, there's only
one place. When it comes to the podcasts, Ero dot net,
a r r oe dot net, seventeen different podcasts to
choose from. Thanks for being a part of the journey. Hey,
how you doing today? My name is Haerrow, host of
(00:20):
the weekly podcast pod Crashing, now four hundred thirteen episodes,
it connects listeners to podcast specialists around the world. My
goal has always been to inform our community with subjects
that deal with everything and beyond. Podcast hosts are open
and always filled with the spirit that spreads their skills
(00:40):
as journalists, medical specialists, true crime solvers, gamblers, motivators, spiritualists, actors,
and even the children of very famous people. There is
literally a podcast for every subject. This podcast, pod Crashing,
has been around since March of twenty nineteen. The original
goal was to put focus on helping up and coming
(01:00):
podcasters to have the right information about hosting as well
as surviving. That idea went fifty four episodes before I realized,
why aren't you talking to the podcast hosts themselves. They're
living the lifestyle, share their journey. The purpose of podcrashing
one on one is to help you build your own platform,
(01:23):
promote it, and earn some money. Episode number four thirteen.
Are you a real podcaster or AI generated? The digital
streaming platforms they want to know, and for good reason,
it's becoming a very serious topic on the podcasting front.
Digital platforms have sent out emails and reconstructed their upload
(01:45):
planning pages to include areas where they want to know
and they need you to be transparent. Are you AI technology?
They are pretty strong when saying our decisions to use
AI as a tool affects them as a business. It
really does interfere with their image. If you're not telling
the truth, if what you're pumping out isn't accurate and
(02:08):
or is slided, they're pretty much telling podcasters, we're watching
you right now. Use professionalism and be more authentic with
your listeners. I know podcasters who create AI generated characters
with their sounds with a real human like voice. Is
that art? Or is that no different than Orson Wells,
who in nineteen thirty eight took over the radio airwaves
(02:30):
with War of the worlds. Should listeners know going into
a podcast that what they're about to listen to quite
possibly could be unreal and used for entertainment purposes only? Hey,
coming up next, AI technology versus real podcasters, we're taking
this to chat GPT. Hey, thanks for coming back to
(02:54):
podcrashing one on one. I took my question about AI
technology and real podcasters to chat GPT. Is it wrong
to use the technology to create information and entertainment? Chat
GPT immediately responded with I am not human with personal
experiences and or emotions. When it comes to real people
(03:17):
doing podcasts versus AI generated, listeners should be able to
pick up quickly on a serious lack of humanisms. Human
podcasters rely on personal experiences, opinions, and authentic emotions. Humans
correct their guests, humans pause, laugh, make mistakes, and feel alive.
(03:39):
AI generated podcasts are perfectly smooth with their narrations and
stay on topic. AI never tires, it never forgets, and
instantly adapts to subject changes. And if listeners truly connect
with their podcasts, they'll soon hear the difference between AI
and how it lacks true feeling. It simulates empathy or
(04:03):
curiosity because AI hasn't experienced anything in the real world.
Here's the thing. Human podcasters are relying on AI technology
to write their scripts, voice edit, and even co host.
Is that a violation of digital platforms? Not? If you're
upfront in the very beginning, tell your listeners this podcast
(04:27):
is not one hundred percent what you think it is.
We use AI technology. How do you feel about that?
I'm Eryl and that's podcrashing one on one
