Speaker 1 (00:00):
We all have love stories, but are you willing to
share yours? This one is one of my greatest love stories.
My thirty four years with Ernie a Blue Crown Conyer.
We were both called to live life and to learn
from life inside this collection of trees in South Charlotte,
North Carolina. The lyrics from Ernie's Forest on Arrow dot
Net a r r oe dot Net. Find it on
(00:23):
three different podcasts. Forest Stories, the choice and view from
the writing instrument Arrow dot Net a r r oe
dot Net. Enjoy the exploration my boy boy, Ernie a
Blue Crown Conyer. For nearly thirty four years, he and
I overlook this forest right here in South Charlotte, North Carolina.
(00:43):
I mean every day Ernie and I have sat here
in this beautiful home, overlooking the trees, the nearby lake,
and every bit the wildlife, just peacefully strolling through this
amazing lay of land. Ernie and I share the same vision.
It's this for we both look into the trees and
study the earth below. There's something so amazingly spiritual inside
(01:07):
these trees. The lyrics to Ernie's Forest, we both receive
unbelievable amounts of energy. I put my trust and skills
into him. I'm his student. Therefore these are not my words.
These are the lyrics from Ernie's Forest January third, twenty
(01:28):
twenty six. Who would have ever thought the opening steps
into a new path leading into this unforgettable forest would
now include a spiritual presence over the physical presence my
totem soulmate, Ernie the Blue Crown conyer. Nearly thirty four
(01:48):
years of patiently watching this forest come into being, he
really did stand in that giant window overlooking me, planting
seventeen hundred seedlings in nineteen ninety. He would spend several
Carolina afternoons staring into those trees twenty three feet off
the forest floor. I mean part of the allure was
(02:10):
watching him believe that he was in the same trees
as the cardinals, the hawks, the blue jays, the owls,
and the pesky squirrels. There's a real reason why the
podcast is called The Lyrics from Ernie's Forest. I watched
these trees, tall weeds, slow moving stream and nearby lake
through his eyes to see his body react. Then he
(02:35):
would add in his own music, it's because Ernie and
I started to hear all birds together as being that
of jazz, My boy boy, Ernie, we are now in
transition spiritual versus physical. How often in your own personal
(02:55):
life and your drive to succeed, to get to a
certain destination, you cancel out a spiritual presence because you
have to have that physical presence in order to believe,
to trust, and to have faith in And Lord knows,
I am so guilty of putting that in prayer. Lord,
I feel your presence, but I don't see your presence.
(03:19):
Do you see the difference there a spiritual presence versus
a physical presence? And how often in your own personal
life do you find yourself on that path of saying
I don't need the spiritual presence, it's excess weight. Well,
I'm now here with my soulmate, Ernie. He's now in
(03:40):
spiritual presence, and I think what he's doing in this
moment of now is opening up our mind, body, and
soul into understanding the difference between what is a spiritual
present versus a physical present. And I'm not going to preach.
I only want you to become aware to know that
the thing things that touched you inspired you, influenced you,
(04:03):
and brought amazing joy and success to your life. Just
because you don't have your physical hands on it. That's
physical presence. Doesn't mean the spiritual presence is gone. Find it.
It's not a needle in a haystack. It's right there.
If winning is a choice, so is recapturing that essence
(04:28):
of a spiritual presence. These are not my words, These
are the lyrics from Ernie's Forest.
