When creating arrow dot net, it was my goal to
tap into your life and style, not say this is
the way that it is followed by my rules. I
mean I know your life is filled with sports, spiritual
journeys as well as your love for spine tingling mysteries
from amazing new authors. Aro dot net, r r Oe

(00:20):
dot net. Everything has its own channel. It's for you
to explore those old Saints, phrases, idioms, you know, those
things your family and friends would usually come up with,
and they came from out of nowhere, and only sometimes
they actually made sense, especially when it came to my father.
It's like what okay, Well they had to start somewhere. Who, what, where? Why? When?

(00:43):
And how? Some of those old Saints are not only ancient,
but still carry a powerful punch even today. In fact,
I live by one of those old saints. Winning is
a choice, it's a lifestyle. The goal of these episodes
is to help preserve not only a language, but lessons
in life. My name is Arrow. Make Them Eat Cake

(01:07):
more than just an urban legend. Based on the whispers
and attitude as well as altitude of one Marie Antoinette,
who was rumored to have used this phrase make them
eat cake during the French Revolution. It was how she
was reacting to her position in life versus those who
were suffering. She didn't say it. It was a political

(01:30):
propaganda move. The one using the phrase was actually Jean
Jean Jacque Rousseau, who used it in her writing dating
back to the seventeen hundreds. The story itself was written
about an out of touch princess and happened to be
regenerated and regurgitated several years down the road when describing

(01:51):
the out of touch antiques of Marie Antoinette. Now, sadly,
the rumor or propaganda continues to remain stuck to the
woman who didn't say it. Marie Antoinette was only nine
years old when Jean Jacquet released the story, so it's
actually impossible that the subject was that of miss Antoinette.

(02:12):
But but, but, but but here is the twist. It's
almost been proven that Jean Jacquet was thinking about a
different princess while letting out this story let them eat cake.
It was Spanish Princess Marie Therese of Spain who married

(02:33):
King Louis the fourteenth in sixteen sixty. Let them eat cake?
