Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm always asking questions because the fund begins when you
start researching for answers such as, when we use chat GPT,
are we bringing harm to the planet Earth? Plus eating
two boiled eggs late at night? Is that bad for us?
My name is Arrow. I'm a daily writer, a silent wolf.
I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen, study,

(00:21):
then activate. I happen to call it the daily mess,
a chronological walk through in everyday world. Yeah, it's my
morning pages. As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we
as people tend to throw things to the side because
we think we're going to deal with it later on. Well,
when a subject arrives inside of me, I know it's
time to dig in. It's still keeping that daily journal,
but by doing the research, the picture becomes clearer. This

(00:44):
is the daily Mess. An interesting moment recently, A gen Zer,
a coworker, recently shared with me his disappointment when I
said that, yeah, I use chat GPT, and he says, oh,
thanks for helping to destroy the planet. What. I'd never
heard of this before, But he's right. The widespread use
of large language models like chat GPT require a lot

(01:05):
of significant energy and fresh water. It contributes to carbon
emissions and has shown to strain local resources. The increased
demand can lead to continued use of fossil fuels, which
puts an impact on regions in their water supply. AI
data centers require a lot of electricity. These centers use
more power than most cities. In fact, some studies show

(01:27):
that a single session with something like chat GPT requires
the equivalent to one bottle of water. I said one, Yeah,
one chat GPT produces more CO two than a normal
Google search. We aren't the only people seeking AI help.
Billions of people are every single day twenty four to seven.
We're being told to be more mindful, promote efficiency, and

(01:50):
increase our transparency. We need to foster accountability. He coming
up next. It's just a little snack, right, two boiled
eggs late at night? Is it good or bad for you? Hey,
welcome back to the daily mess eating at night. Some
nutritional listen doctor's advise us to stay away from the

(02:11):
idea of late night protein boosts. Seriously, how can two
hard boiled eggs after ten pm be bad for you? Actually,
depending on your food processing system, the eggs really aren't
bad for you and are seen as a healthy snack.
Here's where it trips most people up. It's the protein.
The longer digestion time can be a problem for those

(02:31):
with gourd or digestive issues. A true nighttime snack or
dinner should be two hours before you call it a night.
The moment you plant that head on a pillow, acid
reflux is given permission to make its move through your body.
If you want eggs as a nighttime snack, doctor suggests
you scramble those eggs because egg yolks contain fat. Do

(02:53):
you have it in you to eat just the egg whites?
When it all comes down to it, the daily or
nightly goal is based on your choice to listen to
your body. Eating anything at night can lead to discomfort
from bloating. Keep your eye and tummy on perfect timing.
I'm Maril, and that's the daily mess.
