Speaker 1 (00:01):
What it is, what to do cyber World, It's your girl,
the one and only Ash Brown, And this is Ash
Brown uncensored. On this show, I talk a little bit
about everything. It may be pop culture related, but it
is probably Ash Brown related. So you gotta stay tuned
to see what I'm gonna talk about, what I'm gonna say,
who I'm gonna be, where I'm gonna be. You just

(00:23):
never know. Okay, So I'm still bragging about Crown Love. Okay,
that is the brand that I recently discovered. I've been
looking for products to manage my natural hair, my virgin hair,
no chemicals, no kind of crazy stuff, and my hair

(00:43):
absolutely categorically loves this product line, from the leaving conditioner
to the curl defining gel. I've never had results like
this show. I can't even express this enough, Like it
doesn't even I'm still trying to compute it. I'm still
trying to understand. I'm like, oh my gosh. If my
hair was doing this back in two thousand and four

(01:07):
and I found a product like this to help me,
this whole thing would have been completely different. But I
am glad that I went through all of the experiences
that I have with my hair because it just made
me have a full circle moment. Now with this stuff,
now with the it's called the Naughty too Nice leaving conditioner,

(01:31):
all right. It is undoubtedly the best moisturizer and detangler
I have ever used. The key ingredients are alo vera
for moisture, mango butter for repairing, calendula flour for strengthening,
marsh mellow root for slip and less break it. So

(01:53):
that is what it is, this combination, you know, coloil,
oatmeal for scout relief, and fine Greek powder for hair growth.
When I tell y'all, this stuff smells amazing. It smells
like a dream. It doesn't even smell like it should
go in my hair, but I love it. Now, I've

(02:15):
got several events this weekend, so I can't necessarily just
take all of my hair out and just be looking,
you know, just crazy for people this weekend. You know,
I've got a lot of engagements and commitments that I
need to carry out and through and it's just a
little bit easier right now to have my hair still

(02:35):
in twist, seemingly seemingly in twists while I'm like secretly
taking them out through the back and kind of wrapping
them around so people can't really tell. I don't know
if somebody probably can tell and see if they're paying
too much attention, which is really none of your business.
All right, you're paying too much attention to me. You've
got other problems that you need to go talk to

(02:56):
God about. It is what it is. But but yeah,
so I'm working on getting the founder and CEO this lady.
I'm working on getting her on the ash that it
showed so we can talk about this whole story. Like
I've heard tidbits about how things started, but hearing from

(03:17):
the actual founders makes a bigger impact for me. You know.
We can read these articles, we can talk and hear
it third person, fourth person, passed down the line, but
actually hearing from the person that walk that walk, I
feel is a lot more impactful. So that's what we're

(03:39):
gonna do. And yeah, so, like I said, I even
put some of that leaving on my age of y'all,
and my edge has been looking gonna slub and it's
softened up. It feels like baby hair. Oh my gosh.
It's so sinking, soft, manageable, not flaking, moisturizing, strengthening, Oh

(04:01):
my goodness best, leaving that I ever could have found best.
Nobody can beat them, in my opinion right now, nobody
can beat they. Like I said, I have been dealing
with a lot of different brands since ending My Sister
Lack Journey, but this one in particular, the low ingredient list,

(04:23):
the potency of the product, and the fact that it's
woman led, black owned sold I'm like, you know what,
I'll give it a shot. I'll give it a try.
It's either gonna work or it's not gonna work. I
did not expect to be really stopped in my own

(04:45):
tracks about it. I did not expect that at all
at all, and I was pleasantly surprised. So I'm really
really glad that I made this discovery because now I'm
hooked to them. All right, I'm gonna be looking for
all the sales and stuff, and I'm gonna tell yeah
when you got things lined up. But if y'all ain't
already heard about Crown Love and you're trying to manage,

(05:09):
you're very confused and tangled tresses. I'm telling you Crown
Love is a way to go. So go check out
my Crownlove dot com. Let them know the ash that
it sent you that way, and I'm gonna haller at
y'all later. You have a great, prosperous, purposeful, and peaceful
week ahead, Deuces,

Stuff You Should Know
Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
