Our lesson today is are you willingto ask? We ask that you
open your windows. By this,we mean that you ask to receive universal
information via direct connection. The firststep the asking requires that you acknowledge your

willingness to take this new step onyour path of soul growth. You open
to the idea of guys, angels, the universe, all communicating directly one
on one with you. Your willingness, your surrender. You're throwing yourself off
the cliff into the mystery that isyour life. This is the asking.

The asking arrives of the heart.The heart is where the soul resides.
Some of you know, some ofyou know. One of the profound experiences
of asking I had many years agowhen I had started to receive the channeling,

these messages that I've been reading inthese various videos, and those came
because I asked. They were startingto show up. I was starting to
channel, and I was pretty terrifiedabout it, and I finally just went

to the universe in prayer and meditationand just crying and and really was like,
if this is what you want meto do, I'll do it.
I asked that you make it completelyclear to me what my path is,
what my contribution is in this lifetime, to you know, the evolution of

(02:23):
all of us, my little mylittle part that I'm going to do,
and each of us has our ownlittle part to do. And that's when
everything just opened up. I wasI got a publisher, I got a
contract like within a month, Andwhat I believe then was that I was

(02:49):
on this path of the publisher andthat that was going to be like this
big thing. But actually no,it was really just this desire, the
universe's desire for me to keep channelingin whatever the way that happened. It
didn't have to have a specific outcomeas to how it got into the world.

(03:15):
But this continued asking after that isasking not for what I want,
or not for what I think Iwant, because that's usually wrong, but
asking to be guided, asking tosurrender, asking to be shown the way,
asking to be led to my highestpossibility, and not having any attachment

(03:39):
to or trying to let go ofattachment to what the answer is so.
It used to be biblical and EstherHicks were like asking, it is given,
and I would say, ask withoutattachment to what is given. Asked

(04:01):
to be of service, as tocontribute, as to be on your highest
soul path, and then get outof the way and let it happen.
And I'm certain that not everybody listeningis going to be a channel. That's
like a really small little job thatnot many people do. But you will
be shown your own particular way ofcontributing to the whole, to the whole

(04:25):
of oneness in this lifetime. Sothe idea is to ask is the first
step. The asking requires that youacknowledge your willingness to take this new path,
step on your path of soul growth, your willingness, your surrender.

(04:45):
You're throwing yourself off the cliff intothe mystery of your life. This is
the asking. This is really differentthan law of attraction, the secret,
this idea of ask and it isgiven. This is asking to be of
service, asking to contribute, Askingto have the understanding that allows you to

lift off from the mainstream or theGreek group culture and to see what is
really happening at a soul level.It certainly doesn't mean you're not going to
have a regular human challenges. Ofcourse you will. It's just how it
is. We are souls in humanbody, but the human form has a

(05:30):
lot of ups and downs that we'regoing to face anyway. Are you willing
to ask? It's a good questionto consider, and it's a good question
to consider. Are you willing toask with no conditions and no requirements of
