Astrid Cordoba is the Executive Producer and Host of the radio program Ponte al Día, which airs on La X 96.3 FM and is available as a podcast on iHeartRadio, Spotify, Amazon, and iTunes. She is a dedicated, results-driven professional who believes in using her exceptional skills to provide quality service and educational information to her community. Astrid studied Applied Science in the legal field at Briarcliff College and St. Joseph’s College. In 2006, she began working at the law firm FKMS as a paralegal and spokeswoman, a role she held for 11 years. In 2011, Astrid partnered with her former boss to create a radio program that combined her legal expertise with media, opening doors for many aspiring professionals interested in the radio industry. Her exceptional skills, dedication, and work ethic led her to become the Executive Producer and Co-Host of the TV show Adictivo, which aired on WNJU Telemundo 47. In 2017, Adictivo was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with an EMMY® nomination, and in 2018, the show received two nominations. On April 14, 2018, the New York Chapter of NATAS celebrated its 61st Annual Gala, conferring the industry’s most prestigious recognition, the Emmy®. Adictivo became the first independent TV show from Long Island produced by Latinos to win an Emmy, establishing its creators as among the most influential figures in New York media. With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Astrid has earned widespread recognition and accolades for her contributions to both the legal and media fields.
