I still sometimes take a property out of the market - in other words at the asking price. Selling a house or flat a few days or weeks after it's been put on the market, yes it happens, despite the current climate. And I'm going to tell you why and how. First of all, there's no escaping it. Every time it happens, I hear salespeople have the same reaction: ‘Oh dear, we should have paid more’... Selling so quickly at that price is great but it's also a bit disappointing. I don't blame the sellers, it's an instinctive human reaction.
