heart rate monitor, which I love, and having it is kind of a

find my phone as well as likea notification thing. I really think I
would enjoy it so fun fact,I hate notifications. Yeah, I turn
them off as a whole on myphone and so uh, smart watch,
it's just very it's a lot.It's a lot going on. When I
first saw the thing where people weretexting on their phone, I hated it.
Like on their watch, I hatedit. But as a functional watch

Harvest Dance? Uh? I lookaround all at all of y'all,
look around. Hey, it's fall. Why don't we put you in a
trance? Let's go down to theHarvest Dance. It's sorry. I was
in a flow. You were andI was in it. I miss I
thought you're gonna go back to theYou're right, I should have. UM.
It is the harvest if you canbelieve it. Um. And it's

important to note that it is theharvest. Harvest. It is a huge
deal at bay Side, probably becausethe student council gets ten thousand dollars right
for the harvest. Harvest, that'sright now. Daisy as class president,
is kind of in charge of thisparty. Yes, and you know what

to spend the money on and allthat good stuff, And in her mind,
ten thousand dollars is a lot somuch money, so she's trying to
cut the budget. She's trying tosay we can pinch pennies, yes,
and we can use that money forother things. So she gets the Birchwood
Boys, which is Prince Toddman.Yes, he's in a divorced apartment divorce
mail apartment complex and it's him andhis boys who are in a band.

(04:51):
Yes. And she's also pushing fora pot luck style snack table instead of
catering. And so when Mac discoversthis, namely the bands, yeah,
um, he freaks out and hebrings up a points and you would think
that surely this isn't true, butthis is true. The money that's allocated,

(05:13):
that's ten thousand dollars, has tobe used for the dance. That's
right. If you don't, youlose it. Situation. Yeah, And
uh so Daisy is she doesn't evenknow what to do, like, teach
me how to rich. I wouldn'teven know how to spend ten thousand dollars
if I tried, That's right,And so Max says we can do it
easily, and so, uh itkind of takes her. They start spending.

(05:36):
He's teaching her how to be richand how to spend and how to
ask for more. Um, andshe comes up kind of with this new
um mantra, it can be better, better, it can be better,
we can be better. Whatever.Um. At the same time, while
that's going on, we get someDeVante. You know I was asking you
know, I was asking for Davante. Last week, we get some Vante.

(05:58):
DeVante is starting rehearsals for the Fallmusical. Now, Javonte tried out
for the musical because of the musicpart of it. He loves music,
singing, and that's what he's infor. But when he discovers that there's
also acting involved in the musical,he's a little bit less less excited.
Yeah. Yeah, he just readsoff the page that's exactly right. Doesn't

doesn't know how to act, andso um. Lexie offers to take Davante
to an acting teacher, offers togive him some pointers. Not having us.
Yeah, he's like, this isdumb. I'm gonna blow blow it
off. Whatever. Um. Backto Daisy, Davy's spending all the money,
She's it's kind of going to herhead a little bit. She starts

treating people poorly when they go todecorate the gymnasium. She starts telling volunteers
to doing everything wrong. We cando better. Um. She hears principle
todd Men's Band, and it canYes, she's like, we can do
better. They she finds out thatMax neighbors Post Malone. Uh, so

(07:05):
they decide let's get Post instead.So she fires the Birchwood boys and you
know you don't do that, don'tum. And she also scares away basically
everybody. Yeah, everybody is.She's mean to everybody, and they're just
like, you can do it onyour own. Yeah, it's out of
here. So she's she's on herown trying. Matt comes up huge.

(07:27):
He comes up huge because he's ableto use his money to get everybody back
on board. And it's the nicecircle of wealth, is what he's DeVante's
going through his own things, sowe see him. He's hanging out with
his boys from back at Douglas.They're playing video games. They got sense
of Valley Valley. They're all talkingabout how they, you know, have

also used this as a new beginning. There's a hat bit it's great um
and um. He he's you know, he's wanted to do his own a
new thing, like it was anew star for him, but also like
he doesn't want to go out ofhis shell. Base's right, he would
don't want to try anything new whenhe goes to school, Alexey's waiting for

(08:13):
him to give him his own personallesson, and he just is like,
this is stupid, You're stupid.This is um, I'm out of here.
I'm out of here. Um.But when he's hanging out with his
boys, he is why it turnson the TV and finds the E network
Alexei's reality show that she was onHollywood Story Babe at Coming Lexey, that
they referenced this in the pilot.Yeah, that she did a full show

(08:35):
about her transition, and this isan episode about her going to school for
the first day, and it reallytouches his heart. He really just starts
crying at a at an E realityshow. That's where he was right in
because she, you know, shewas scared. She was scared about doing
something new. She was scared aboutwhat people would think. Yeah, and
so, but she did it anyways, did it anyway, And so he

(08:58):
was, you know, he learnedhis life like, Hey, I I'm
scared about what people will think aboutme, this gruff and tough guy actually
trying to act like singing comes naturally, but acting like I really gotta put
myself out there. Um. It'sthen out of the dance. I'm sorry,
fall harvest it it's the Fall Harvestdance. It is the Fall Harvest

Day. It's the Harvest. It'snot full you're thinking a hallmark. It's
the Harvest Dance. No, thefull. It's the Harvest dance. But
it's more than just a dance.It's the Harvest dance. Um. And
so Mac takes the stage to introducePost Malone's right, and uh, he's

like, first, before I bringpost post post boy up here, I
have to bring Daisy up. Wegotta apply Daisy thing amazing. And Daisy
looks out and she sees all thevolunteers just given her to the mean nice
like I can't believe she's up there. And she just can't let the riches

(10:05):
and the spending. She is notenough. She has to be a good
person. She has to do theright thing. It's killing her inside.
And so she takes the microphone.She says, I'm sorry to the volunteers,
and we don't need postmone cancels Postmolone. We're gonna bring out the Birkswood
boys up. That's exactly right.And uh, we find out after the

(10:30):
fact she's talking to Mac and Macknew the whole time she was going to
do the right thing. Post wasn'teven there. He knew that she like,
she's a good person. She's gonnado the right thing. She doesn't
need money to make people. Lessonlearned. Lesson learned that money isn't everything
everything that's right. Riches can corruptpeople, but good people are good people.

(10:52):
Good people are good people, exactlyright. Um and DeVante comes finds
Lexie. They do a little scenein the middle the whole way. It
doesn't go well, but he's willingto try. You're willing to try.

it excited us. We didn't likeit. It scared us. Dan,
what do you think? So?This is my least favorite of the series
so far. It weirdly enough,felt the most like an old save by

the Bell episodes kind of have twomain plots. There's high jinks. They
kind of do the right thing atthe end. The lesson learned is wasn't
as poignant, it wasn't as sharp. Having said that, I still had
fun. There's a great hat bit. There's a single great line by Principal
Toddman you want me to turn upthe trouble because the base is broken,
which I found to be hysterical.We get more Davante. I don't know

how well that worked. Necessarily.They seem to be using a lot of
Lexi more than Daisy. I stillloved it. I'm still having a blast.
Least favorite of the four, Iguess technically sited on points by and
more. It's not a knockout onpoints technically so excited. That's that's That's
as close as I can get.I'm with you one Hundre Dan. I

agree. I liked it. Ihad fun, I laughed, which I
I don't. I don't foresee notliking an episode of this show. I
think that's why I'm I think it'sgonna be funny. There's gonna be some
good jokes. There's gonna be somereally bad jokes. The characters are likable,
I mean, as long as they'renot. You know, the things
that don't work the original Saved bythe Bell are are namely when it's just

like cringey, like like they shouldn'thave done that. That's not okay.
Yes, you know by twenty twentystandards, you know what I mean.
Yeah, So I feel like,you know, we're we're gonna like these
characters. It's gonna be funny andso. But I agree, it's my
least favorite of the four so far. Um, I got more Davante and

I still want more Davante. Yeah, I'm excited to see where that goes.
Hum and now I'm at the pointwhere I'm ready for more Jamie Jamie's
very one note, Jamie's very I'mdumb Jamie, and uh, who what's
the other girl's name? Lexie?Jamie Jamie and Aisha maybe have a thing

going on. I gotta tell you, I want to. I am interested
in the love, not triangle,but the love relationships, like the relationships
in this because are we to believethat Mac and Daisy are gonna end up
being a thing. So what's thetriangle between Aisha, Alexei and Jamie.
Uh. It was the first timein four episodes that I felt some actual

sparks between Mac and Daisy. Atthe end, I actually thought, oh
my goodness, Yeah, these twokids might get together, and I actually
was happy about that. Yeah,I can't. Mac is really coming around
for me as a character like hethe first episode, I just thought he
was the worst character on the show, and now I like him. I
love Daisy, I I kind ofthink that might be happening, which I

can't believe, but I'm I'm herefor it. And then the love triangle
with Jamie, Lexie and Asia isgreat. It's a great part of the
show. Here for that as well. Still, they don't know what to
do with vant, they don't knowwhat to do with them, so I'm
trying. I'm excited for the restof the season. I'm also you know,
at some point, you know,uh, Slaters in there for a
couple of seams, and yeah,we didn't get much of the old cast

(15:22):
when they're there. It's fine.We we haven't seen Zach and Kelly.
We know there's an episode at leastone where they're all gonna be together.
It's gonna be a drink. Thatmight be the hour long episode that's coming
up in a few weeks. Butuh, yeah, I don't know.
I liked it a lot, justnot my favorite of the series so far.
Yeah, I'm saying fair enough.I'm saying it's time for the next
segment. Time out Timeout of SPARTIshow. We talking about anything that made

us laugh, stop and say,what's just happened while we were watching this?
Questions we have Danio Everything Timeout wise, in my opinion, relates to
the Harvest dans Um. First ofall, the stuff that they're buying for
the Harvest dands costs way more thanten thousand dollars. I want to be
very very clear. Alone, that'sright, but if he did it for
free m the ORDRVS, the ordersthat they bring out, there's what a

few hundred kids at least at thisdance. I mean, you're talking twenty
thirty bucks a pop. They're easy. I mean, you're six grand out
for for just the ord'rvs. That'snot drinks, that's not band, that's
not decorations. And so it's weirdbecause they go from ten thousand dollars is
so much money too. I don'tthink they understand how much money ten thousand
dollars is. Uh. Why arethe Birchwood boys still at the dance?

(16:36):
Ye haven't gotten that one figured outyet. Just a bunch of old dudes.
And then, lastly, the strawthat I wanted to make sure I
understand this greatly. The straw thatbreaks the camel's back for these volunteers of
the Harvest Dance is they fired thesucky band. Like all those kids want
a good dance. They would havebeen on board with firing the sucky band

(16:57):
for post Malone. Of all thethings that she does, being a little
bit mean to her principle that theyall think is a nerd is not the
thing that would make them all walkout. They're not good people. We've
established this. They all are like, oh, she's the worst. We
want Principal Tobin to play the bank. But no, no, no,

(17:17):
that would never happen those are reallyit. I did. Also, we
didn't mention this, and I needto mention this. They have a running
gag about the seniors being really oldbecause dude, and watching those old ones.
You remember the two wrestlers from Valleythat one dude is thirty five,
like he is old old, Andthey do a great running bit with these
old people popping by that are supposedlyseniors in high school and it's a riot.

(17:41):
And I found that really really funny. That's what I got for time
about um. I got a coupleone. I am confused about the size
of the gem because they're decorating thegem and they come back, Yeah,
it seems bigger. But then whenthe Birchwood Boys come back in it seems
taller again. It seemed as ifthere was two different sets and they like

(18:03):
kept going back and forth. Theypan out to everybody dancing and it looks
massive in there. Yeah. Yeah, that was weird, very interesting.
I do want to know Jamie hasa big fear of scarecrows. Yeah,
yet more about it. I doneed to know more about it. There
had to have been something that happened, and he mentioned last year at the
Fall at the harvest Fest. Therewas a lot of scarecrows and that really

throw him off. So I don'tknow if that was the thing like he
saw him and it was too much. I don't know, but there was
still one. I don't know.The biggest point of disagreement I think between
you and I is I think Jamieis much better as a one note.
Don't give him more to do,like, I don't need more Jamie.
Him just walking in and saying Iflushed my shirt in the toilet again like

and then walking off. That iseverything I need from that character. I
don't want Jamie's story arcs. Ijust want him to kind of be a
part of what everyone else is doing. He is fine as the sixth man
here. He's a screech yes,and just walking in being a dufus and
walking out. I think that ishis That's the wheelhouse for him. I
think it's great. I don't needmore Jamie. I need the amount of
Jamie I get and the riding tostay the same. That's what I need

for him. Um and I willsay, we got a small flashback of
Mac in Jamie as freshman in highschool, and I want more. I
need more because in high school.I believe. So it was her first
day of their soft this year.Yeah, it was her first day of
freshman year, So I believe whatthey said. Okay um at Bay Side
and so Mac is all PIMPALLEI yeah, and Jamie's just looking goofy. I

want more of that because it mademe laugh and we only got it for
a split second. So I hopewe see more like the Eat the her
E Show because yeah, that wouldbe fun. That would be a lot
of fun. Uh, it's timefor a last segment. Yeah, last
