mayhead to Huh, it's going downme me you at the track, it's
going You can pretty much guarantee yougo down. I don't remember that at
all. Man, it's wild.Uh, it's we can do this later.
I would assume I was young jock, young jock. How could I

forget about young jock? You were? You were a big jockheads a huge
shock head called himself to jock trap. It's the finale. Everybody, um
to catch you up to speed justin case. Um. Douglas kids have
been at bay Side for the year. It's swell. According to the kids.
They love it, um. Butthey raised enough money. Unbeknownst to

them to send the Douglas kids backto Douglas. Douglas is gonna open back
up. Um, school's looking good. But but it's not enough. No,
it's not enough. It's the principle. Um. And so they are
planting planning. You got it?Uh, walk out a walkout. Have
you ever done a walkout? Oh? Have I ever done a walkout?

No? No I've not done awalk out of it either. Yeah,
but I do have one plan forfive minutes from now. So let's okay,
it's unrelated to this. It's unrelated. It's a thing in the email
you your agents and over it's theirstuff in Okay, okay, okay.
Um. So they're planning this walkoutsand um Daisy once again spearheading this move

drugs. Um, but she needsuh, she's gonna need all all all
hands on deck, if you will. Todman is not allowed at the school
property, but he's snuck in anyway. Jesse is leading the faculty meeting and
telling all of the teachers to joinin on the walk in a walkout,
walkout, walk in, walk inon that walkout. Um. And um,

(04:57):
Mac has this idea if my dadcomes, than everything, it'll be
great. It'll be great, Sohe talks to his dad. Um.
Zach is non committal to this situation. He says it's competent um, but
Mac takes that as uh uh,it's happening dad. My dad would never
disappoint me. Um. So Jamieand Lexie get all the kids together to

rally them up for the big thing. And what ends up happening. They're
all, yes, let's go,let's walk out, But then all the
clicks start wanting to do their ownthing. The Christians want to pray during
it, the poetry people want todo a slam poetry during right. They're
all trying to do these different thingsand it's getting out of control and they're

(05:44):
all now turning against each other.Um. And the walkout is in a
dire strange jeopardy, you would say. And speaking of uh, in dire
straits, Ayesha and Daisy's friendship,uh Aisha has found a way to stay
at based through a weird golf scholarship. Um, she's staying there, that's
right. Daisy's mad and she thinksthat Iish just being selfish. They're arguing

(06:09):
against each other like with each other. DeVante finds a way to get them
to stop arguing by basically making themboth mad at him, and they come
up with an idea. And theiridea is, if we could all have
a common enemy, she could putaside our differences for a little while.
That's exactly the idea they come upwith. We do get some Jesse Slater

(06:30):
tea. Yeah. First, uh, Slater walks in and like, basically
it's like, hey, you've you'vechanged me. Um, I realized,
like this walkout is good. Iwant to be like I want to stand
for the right things, and you'vehelped me figure out like what's right and
what's wrong, and you're an inspirationand all that good stuff. He basically

(06:53):
apologizes for all the times he gotmad at her for being angry, like
every you know, you were alwaysright about the oil spill in the caffeine
all this stuff, and we alwaystold you to calm down. It's an
impassioned emotional speech and he says,I'm in like you should be angry.
These are the right reasons to beangry, and I'm right there with you.
Um. And it's really cool speech, A cool moment between Jesse and
Slater, and not to be outdone. After Slater leaves a little bit later

(07:16):
on, Jesse's husband shows up,and boy does she get angry. Um
he brings her coffee with caffeine,with caffeine and I mean, where were
you for twenty five years? Butshe's she's been caffeine free. Yeah,
it's a big part of her story. Um, he doesn't, he's not

(07:38):
aware of that. And she justgoes off on him, like for all
the things, like you don't evenknow, like what I like, You
don't know what I don't like.You don't you leave for six months out
of like just going off listing allthese things. And she's like, uh
yeah. He was like, Idon't even know who you are anymore,
and she says, I'm just it'sa great scene one fall and he walks

(08:00):
on out, um, leaving thedoor open for Slate Slates next season.
I mean, you start that seasonoff and they've already had a messy divorce
and it's over with and we don'thave to watch that part and we can
just get back to it. Yeah, boy, oh boy, oh boy.
Um. So uh, they passedthe word along to Alexei and Jamie.

(08:24):
Hey, you got to figure outa common enemy. Lexi dresses up
like I don't like the boys andbasically tell like She's like, you guys
aren't real friends, you don't careabout each other, starts talking down to
them, rallies the group to allhate her, and one it's one o'clock,
it's time to go to the walkout. They all are excited about it,

(08:46):
and then when they walk outside,the media is there. Why is
the media there? They tried toget him there and Mac has told the
media that the governor will be there, so the media is there to cover
the walkout, So this is theirtime to show. There's they walk out.
All the teachers are cheering for him. This is great, This is
great. The media is there.Daisy starts to give a speech about how
they belong at Bay Side, they'vebecome a part of the culture where one

(09:09):
bay Side, and then Governor Zachshows he shows up. He interrupts her
mid speech. This is the bigmoment. This is the big moment where
he's gonna right, you know saythey think he's gonna do an executive order,
basically shutting the whole thing down.And all that he does is unveil
a painting, a mural that saysfriends Forever Bay Side and Douglass on it.

(09:31):
Yeah, it's a little bit ofa downer. Yeah, it's a
little bit of a downer. Theyare like, this was not what we
thought. Mac's very upset with hisdad. The media starts to walk away,
says, I got this. I'llstall them, and so he starts
to sing a song and he's like, if you don't stay your racist,
it's a great moment. It's agreat bit. So they all go inside

(09:52):
to talk to Governor Zach and Macis like, Dad, this is wrong,
this is wrong. Why would youdo this? You come on and
basically keeps asking him why he can'tdo this? Um like to even make
it, like to dumb it downeven further and really get to the root
of why he wouldn't do it.It's not just because it's it's not because

(10:15):
it's complicated, it's not because ofyou know, got to go through red
tape. It's because he doesn't wantto He wants to be cool. He
wants he doesn't want to be uncool, and he would be uncool just to
be a lawyer again and not haveall these cool things. And he realizes
that in a moment of truth.Kelly shows up in a red dress just
in case that talking to didn't work. And then Zach decides to go doing

(10:37):
right, do the right right.So he goes out gives the executive order,
we got to shut this thing downfor three months while we investigate and
all that good stuff. Um.And then afterwards Aisha dais either talking and
friends again best friends again, andbasically encourages Aisha go talk to Jamie like,
don't like you're you know, stillfeeling stuff feeling. It's like,

(10:58):
let's let's go talk. And whileshe leaves, Jamie and Alexei are talking
and they kiss. The kiss.Oh you hate it? Yeah, hate
that. But we all end upat the Max. We all end up
at the Max. We all endup sitting at the bar here drinking a
milkshake. Um. Basically, uh, Mac is like nothing can stop us.

(11:22):
Now, this is gonna be great. He gets a notification on his
phone about CORONAVIRUSS like what's coronavirus?And that is the end of Season one
By the Bell, Season one ofSay By the Bell. The reboots,
We're gonna talk about even even morewhen we get back from this here break
here on back to Bay Side.Bah. I thought you were gonna go

(11:48):
full B word. I was like, what is he winding up? I
would never do that to bay SideA wow, Um, it's time for
our next second. That's why shedoesn't want to dying just too much,

(12:09):
too much, stime far I'm soexcited. I'm so scared. Spider Show.
We share if we are excited bythis episode. We liked him,
Oh, I'm Scaredess, we weren'tso fond of it. Dane so excited,
but I have critiques so excited firstof all, gang altogether excited.
How many relationships am I shipping rightnow? Three relationships need to happen immediately,

(12:33):
Mac and Daisy, Sure, Ican't. I don't know what to
tell you. It works, itworks, it works, it works Jesse
Slater. Of course it works.It absolutely works. And I'm kind of
team Jamie Aisha. I don't knowhow popular that's gonna be, but I'm
kind of team Jamie Aisha. Butall of that is working for me.
I can't wait for another season.I am fully invested in what's going on
here. I like the fact thatthe gang got back together to save the

(12:56):
school. I thought it was wonderful. I just think that and this is
just about the writers of this showand Zach Morris. It's my only complaint.
The writers of this show, likeZach Mark Paul Gossler has been honest.
He forgot the character, like hedoesn't know the character. So it
is upon the writers to write Zachlike he would be written in modern day.

(13:18):
So Slater feels like Slater, Jessefeels like Slater. Kelly feels like
Kelly. I don't know what happened. I don't know. I don't know
if they did it to serve thepurpose of the show's plot, because the
show starts with Zach Morris's governor.He ruined everything by, you know,
ruining the education, and so maybeit's that. But Zach Morris was always

(13:39):
an all knowing kind of character,and not just in his own head.
Like Zach Morris was a smart,smart guy in high school. Did he
do some terrible awful things, yes, But when the rubber met the road,
he was he was a team guy, he was a friend guy,
he cared, he was caring,and he was really smart. And in
this show he comes off as likean out of touch like Dufus. And

(14:03):
if you want to let make himlost his way, that's fine. But
for him to not be intelligent.It doesn't make any it doesn't read right,
it doesn't play right. And sounfortunately we're huge Mark Paul guys.
We're gossel heads, like there's noway around it. We love every We
watch everything he's in, whether thatdumb baseball showing, Fox Franklin and Bash.

(14:24):
I watched the show him Fox wherethere were zombies, like I watch,
I watch all everything that this guy'sin. It didn't feel like Zach
Morris all season and especially in thisepisode, like mixed mixed dish, I've
not gotten to yet. I willsay that mixed this I've not gotten to
yet, to be fair. Buthe's a good actor. We just watched
twelve dates of Christmas for Deck tohomework, like it didn't feel like Zach

(14:46):
Morris. And that is the biggestdisappointment of this season, is it not
for a second did it feel likeZach Morris. It felt like some just
meadhead dufus guy, Like it justdidn't feel like Zach Morris. But aside
from that, all in the characters, love where we ended up, love
the gang working together. All inso excited. Can't wait for season two
of the reboot. Brand Dan.I think that is a fantastic analyses.

with you on all the ships atthis point. Um, I mean I
will thray. I'm a little disappointedwe didn't get any more of Slater and
that other girl like that meeting withI said that I you're in Jamie Aisha,
I am, and that that's reallyjust because I really like Aisha like

and Lexi's so like, I don'tknow what her deal is, She's she's
so funny. Her and Mac arejust the best dynamic duo. Um,
But I just don't like there wassomething like really wonderful about the chemistry between
Jamie and Aisha that I I don'tget. I guess it's I don't get

(15:54):
the chemistry yet. We haven't gottenenough Jamie and Lexie on screen together.
They've had those two um one timeall season, They've had the one big
conversation, had his party, andthey've had this conversation and that's really it
for them, aside from her crushingon him all season and who can blame
her? So yeah, that's howI feel about that. But I thought

(16:17):
it was a great I agree aboutMark Paul, That's what I said an
episode. I just didn't get itwith him. It felt very removed from
um, you know what. Iwhat I believe Zach Morris is um.
And for him just not to getlike being in Bayside, or to get

(16:40):
like why he wants to be governor, like everything for Zach in the OG
he was he was always scheming.He was always scheming, and I just
like, this doesn't feel like ascheme to me. It feels like he
stumbled into being governor. And nowit's like I don't want to lose set,

(17:00):
you know what I mean, Likeit doesn't the whole show could still
exist if at the beginning he bungledthe education thing because he got money for
something else, Like if he looksat the camera in that first episode and
he's like time out, So yeah, the education system's rotting. But I
had this plan to do X whateverit may be, and then for him
to realize later on that he's screwedup. I'm fine with that, But

(17:22):
for him to be a big dumbanimal, it doesn't make any sense.
And that's on the writers, that'snot on Mark Paul Gossler. He's showing
up for two days of shooting witha blond wig and spray tan. He's
gonna do what they write, He'sgonna read with they write down. He
how else is he supposed to playthat? They just made him not the
character. That's that's my only complaintwith the old show, and it permeates

(17:45):
every episode he's in unfortunately. Yeah. Yeah, but it's just great and
the season was famed. Oh it'swonderful season. Season was. It was
truly a wonderful joy to watch.Loved it. So kudos to everybody involved,
aside from whoever was in charge showthat one thing that's not far next
time I'm out asmar a show,we talked about what made us laugh,
what made a sad, made astop, confuses, whatever might need Daniel

(18:08):
um, she says. Daisy saysin this episode that she's sophomore class president,
and we may need to take thisto the tape, but I'm pretty
sure she ran for president of studentcounsel in the first episode of this program,
and so there's a huge difference betweenthose two in her power and organizational
ability and what she can do tomobilize people. I know it's a big

(18:30):
school, but she said in thefirst episode, she was going to be
a sophomore student body president and nownow she says she's sophomore class president.
I want to know which it isthat? Like, I just had that
question, which is it? Um? I need to know more about the
Ventriloquist Club that um. In thisepisode, they get one really fun scene
where it's like, we can't chantno justice, no peace, and UH

(18:53):
have a you know, silence assolidarity, and they just close up on
a dummy and it says Ventriloquist Cluband it says I have an idea.
And I think it's a funny bit, but also how deep are these club
members invested in ventriloquism where they thinkthat the dummies are talking and that's not
actually that's still silence. Have youever met e ventriloquist, a van triloquist

(19:19):
that like a ventrilist that rides ina van. Yes, no, I've
not. They're very committed in theircraft. They're committed to the craft,
but still they could not possibly thinkthat that would still be silence on their
part. I think you think so, I need to know about the Ventriloquist
Club at Base side in Mediamente.And then lastly, Jason states them on
the California Supreme Court. I knowit's a joke. I couldn't stop thinking

about that spen Off show. AndI don't know what to do with myself
because it's a riot. Like theguys from England, he does currently reside
in Beverly Hills, and if theyput him on the Supreme Court, it
would be a riot. That's allI got. Um, I want to
know about how many students are atbay Side. Um, the walkouts is

not a large number of kids.So if you were sitting like down the
steps. Yeah, but even so, I mean we're talking about fifty maybe
if you were to take all ofthe kids that came from, like how
many kids were at Bay Side beforeDouglas. How big is this school?
I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, so it was very a

(20:27):
confusing amount of Yeah, because allthe teachers also walked out. Yeah,
the teachers were all there too,There's eight of them. Yeah, I
don't know. I don't understand thatbit at all. Yeah. Um,
I mean I do want to haveno more information about I used to scholarship.
She got it was I didn't getthe bid totally. Nine. That's
at the end of nine okay.Is the end of it? Yeah?

It might be? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know you're
crossing waiter, I'm crossing WI wassuch a good episode from last week,
Yes, that you just happened toI think my point though, Yeah,
I'm sorry to interrupt you. Thisscene where Aisha shows up and sees Jamie
and Lex, he's not the endof the show. After that, they
go and they all hang out thematch too, Is she okay? And

(21:10):
they look fine. They look likethere's just one big happy family. That's
kind of a weird editing thing there. I don't know what you do about
that, but that doesn't seem rightnow. And I think the only other
thing, like the you know,the coronavirus scene, I want to know
when they like when they shot that, like you know, like they didn't
have to come back and shoot verymuch from what I understood, really all

(21:30):
they had to shoot was Mark Paul'sstuff, yeah, to finish the shooting.
So like were they like were theybanking on that? Like does he
say coronavirus on screen or is it? Do you just hear it? I
think he I think he says it, like I think we see him say
it, or do you think maybethey were shooting in February and the coronavirus
was starting to be talked about andthey just put it in there and it

(21:51):
worked, That's what I want toknow, because that was like, that's
like impressive, Like I remember usbeing we went to the Democratic debate,
yes, and there was talk aboutcoronavirus. First was in South Carolina though,
but it still it felt so forlike we were talking about like if
we should shut down borders and stufflike that. We were like, oh
whatever, and then eighteen days laterwe're all shut down crazy, So like

it just like I would never havethoughts like in February to make a joke
like that. If they did inFebruary, it was very full thinking like
oh, there's a chance this isgonna shut the country down. Like none
of us thought in like we didn'tthink they would shut the country down,
right, No, Like that wassuch a like it would never have crossed

(22:33):
my mind in February. And soif they did that, it's amazing.
If not, did they just bringhim back for that joke, because it's
great. Those are questions I havejust from a not a filmmaking but well,
he had all the vaccines to haveMac in him, so Mac had
to be there anyway. And theZac stuff they had to shoot have Mac
and Daisy, so Mac and Daisywould have already been on set. Interesting
and it's just those two that dothat scene. Yeah, so that works.

(22:56):
So it wouldn't have been that muchmore to add a scene at the
max like that. True, Sothat's true probably just but I would have
I would have thought that, um, you know, they would have shot
that ending sequence you know when theyhad you know, but they did.
So they shoot just the two ofthem and then it pans out. It's
a different scene. Yeah. Butalso like Zach is on the stage or

the stairs with all of the like, yeah, you're right, did they
all to come back to shootings orThese are questions I have. I would
love for someone to just tell me, because that'd be great. Those are
things that I don't think anyone elsecares about, but for sure. So,

a journey for Dustin because he hadlike he had such a you know,
he was on it for so long. He even did the New Class,
God bless him. And then hejust like you know, went off the
deep end and like tried to trashthat character. Did the whole tape thing,
did the book, I don't know, and it would have just been

a full heartbreaks from wonderful joy.So I hate I hate that. I
hate it here, I you know, and I'm I'm interested in how they
deal with it in season two,you know, do they mention it?
Last we heard Street we're gonna getDennis hat. I don't know. I
don't know that they answer that.Last we heard um the Screech and his
robot Kevin. We're up in spaceand so what what's their plan that we'll
