Hi, it's brand from this hereshow back to bay Side. Thank you
for still being subscribed. It's beenabout a year and a half so we've
put out an episode, but that'snot entirely true. If you remember,
back in January twenty twenty one,we announced that this show would be moving
to our paid subscription service, branblejam Plus, and we did that,
and we've been putting out episodes forthe past year and a half for people

(00:24):
that are able to sign up forbrabul jam Plus and supported us that way.
But we also know that times aretough and maybe not everybody is able
to sign up for a subscription service, and so we decided to dust out
some of these old episodes and startreleasing them. So no, you're not
going to get any brand new contenthere on this feed. These episodes are

(00:44):
from over a year ago behind apaywall, but they're new to you.
And so if you want brand newepisodes from current days, you get side
of a brainwell jamplus dot com andyou'll get a new episode every other week,
or you can just hang out hereand listen to an episode you've never
heard before, but that is fromover a year and a half ago.

(01:06):
However, you decide to do it. Thank you so much for your support,
and thank you for caring enough tolisten, and we hope you enjoyed
today's episode. This is a brambleJam podcast. Hey, bay side Heads,

(01:37):
how are you bay side Heads, bay side headyads, Bayheads Bayheads?
I like it Bayheads, but thenthat could be misconstrued as um bay watch
heads yeah or beyoncey maybe, sobay side makes it clear bay side Heads,
bide By side Siders, bay Sidersside like the base Siders. I

(01:57):
mean, could you listen to Zachto the Future each and every week?
You could? Or could you listento us every other week? Yeah?
You could? You could do both, and one of them's free. Back
to the Future sucks. I couldn'tset out before. I don't think Zach

(02:19):
to the Future sucks. I thinkthat occasionally it is poorly edited and goes
on too long, but I findsome good tidbits in there, and I've
not I've listened to eight or nineepisodes. It's very hit or miss for
me. Dashell is just not theright host for that in my opinion.
There's a review I just saw thatsaid Dashall's the best part of this show,
Mark Paul, I wish they wouldhave brought on a different say,

(02:44):
Mark Paul seems uninterested really, somaybe he seems less interested now he's been
doing this for a little while.Well, the first couple he seemed like
he was too good for it.I will say that, but now I
feel like, well I've not listenedin months, but well, let's listen
in this space side episode. Yeah, I do want to know what.
Yes, that's a classic. Andthis is a classic. What do you
say for yourself? This is aclassic. It's Jesse's song, Jesse's son,

(03:08):
Jesse's song, Bernarnar, I'm downdown? Why can't I hond a
song like that? The Mountain Manhas a song done and it's been a
good tune of mine. She's beenchecking all those caffeine pills. They're not

(03:29):
good for her. Slater says thatday our drugs. Okay, uh,
we're giving away the whole episode,so let's just do this first segment,
shall we? Hey? Hey,Hey, what is going on? Hey?
What is going on here? It'spart of the show where we write
this episode down, tell you exactlywhat happened in some case geometry test or

(03:50):
quiz coming up in a week. They I think it might be a mid
term. No, no, no, she this is and we we're skipping
ahead here. But she says,I, I've been up half the night
studying for this test. They comein and say the test isn't till Friday.
Then they have her take it andit's a quiz, and then they

(04:11):
say the mid terms are coming upon Friday. They use quiz, test
and mid term. The chronology doesn'tmake any sense. They're trying to make
it as frazzled as when she's onthe pills. Oh you think it's a
crazy math You kind of get inthe head of Jesus not bad writing.
No, there's no way, noway. So there's a big test coming
up, quiz and mid term andJesse's having a really tough time with geometry.

(04:35):
Dan, you said you loved math, and I was a big math
guy until it didn't make sense. So like I didn't like calculus, but
everything before calculus, big math fan. It makes sense. It's empirical.
I told brand I don't know howyou study all night for math. Math
you get it or you don't getit. Math is a big reason why
I dropped out of school. Reallyso I you know, I went went

(04:57):
to college and I thought, naive, Lee, now I'll get to do
what I want and not before youtake these few colleges. No, no,
you don't. You gotta do yougotta do math again. It's like,
hey, remember everything you learned.Let's just make sure you actually know
it and then you can then youcan forget it. Well too late,
too late, professor, I'd alreadyforgotten. Yeah, so I'm not doing

(05:20):
this anymore. I'm gonna I'm gonnago forge my own path. And here
we are today. Everybody forge yourown path. Hey guy, I dropped
out before uh for English, youjust you copied it straight up. Yeah.
Um. I love the fact thatit's empirical. Like I did a
I did a speech class, youknow the one, and uh I did.

(05:46):
I was like, I'm gonna doas many just weird speeches as no
out, that's what you were gonnado. So one of the uh she
hated she hated men? What thingyou had to do like a a speech
where you're trying to You're like,not, it's not a debate, You're
just trying to make an argument. And so I was trying to prove that

(06:09):
storks really did bring the babies. That was a tough one. Um,
and then the persuasive persuasive, andthen I did a you know, explaining
speech. I don't know where you'retrying to teaching them something. So I
taught how to do didn't demonstrate,Yeah, yeah, demonstrative maybe demonstration.

(06:31):
And I and I taught the classhow to be a choir. And so
I split the class into four partsand we sang an usher song and I
made sure that it took the fullten minutes. Did did uh? Did
you get a good grade on thatone? That sounds like a good idea?
Yeah? I got a good grandon that. I did. I
got a good grade in that class. I just I don't think like she
just was always just like this reallyseemed like it seemed like you were kind

(06:53):
of, you know, push pushingthe envelope here of what the actual goal
was. And I'm like, yeah, I took a speech class in college
and she wanted us to get atextbook and there were tests, and I
refused. I didn't get the textbook, didn't study of the test, got
season d's on all the tests, got a's on all the speeches. And

(07:14):
after my last speech was a persuasivespeech. I was at the University of
South Carolina and I gave a persuasivespeech on why Clemson is better. Oh
wow. And after the speech, she wrote in my comments, because you
were the best speaker in the class, I have to give you an A.
So I got an A for thequarter, even though all my tests
were season ds. Wait, sothere's a clause and the speech. I

(07:36):
think it was her in her head, if you're the best speaker, I
can't give you a low grade. So she just basically gave me an A
for the class, for the wholeclass, that is that's really something.
Yeah. So going back to algebra, I failed my first college algebra class.
And here's why. You had touh get an eighty in the class

(08:01):
in order to take the final exam. And then once you take the final
exam, that's the only thing thatmatters. That sounds like you didn't make
the college. This sounds like theintro mass. It probably is. Yeah,
a lot of college kids don't getso this this one college. Probably
it's probably the case. Um.And so I got like an eighty five

(08:22):
or something like that in the class. I was like, great, this
is great, and then you hadto get over us. I think you
had to get like a seventy orhigher on the test and I didn't,
and so I think So then Iwas like, screw this fan, I'm
like a podcast that's where a lotof people don't get through college. Math.
Is that one that hurdle? It'sthe worst? Um, but you
know what, stay in school kids. Um. So he is struggling with

(08:45):
it as well. And she's likeshe is, she is, but she's
in Yeah, that's right, she'svalidat Yeah, I'm smart. Yeah,
it doesn't doesn't quite add up thatshe's valedictorian and yeah there. So she's
having a hard time, yes,and um she's like, hey, um,

(09:05):
coffee, she's drinking coffee and butshe doesn't like the taste of it.
And that's happening. Uh, LisaKelly walk into the Max and they
start singing, I'm so excited. They put it on the jukebox. They
start singing, just take it easyto tests until Friday. Yeah, they're
singing. Um. And for reasonsunknown to all of us, uh Zach

(09:26):
and the gang think that they're amazing, amazing, just amazing that these three
girls can sing in Unison and knownothing about harms um, and so they're
singing it all together and Zach islike, this is amazing. You know,
I heard that there's a record producerwho's looking for the next new kids
on the block female and uh,you guys have a real shot. You

(09:46):
have a real shot. They don'tall melodies, all melodies, all melodies.
That's what they should have called theirgroup with hot Sunday um so um.
Jesse's like, no, I Idon't time for this, and they're
just like, you got time. It's fine, you got all the time
in the world. And she's like, oh, maybe we'll see. Basically,
she says she asks um Slater, who's doing really well in math because

(10:11):
he's a guy, is to arguethat he makes guys are better at math.
Yes, that's the argument, anyand they never correct him. They
never do correct him. Good graciousyes, which there's this stuff. We
don't have time for this. Weprobably do have time for this. We
have literally no rules. There's Iwill say, I I don't know if

(10:31):
the you know, it swings oneway or the other, but I would
say, in my lifetime, womenare better at math. So there's a
lot of education education studies that willtell you the implementation of math as competition
is what caused this the data tobe skewed is because when math became a

(10:54):
comp like early in elementary school, when you start learning your like third grade,
you start learning your multplication tables, and you have the mad minute or
the math minute. Do you rememberthis? I don't remember this. When
I was a kid, they wouldhand out these papers. You had to
keep them face down and basically theywould say go and you'd turn it over
and you had a minute to completeas many of the multiplication questions okay,
yea, and you turned it inand there was like they would give prizes

(11:16):
and like that wasn't the case inhistory or English or science. And what
happened was there was something in thatthat made like guys really lean into math
more psychologically and made girls kind ofnot want to do it. And that
it is not actual data like girlsare in fact, probably, like you

(11:37):
would say, better at math.In fact, it has been proven that
anything that where you have the time, it's not a timed event. Females
are legitimately do better, perform betteracademically and intellectually than men do anything where
you have the time and so whathappened was as soon as you made it
this quick thing, girls lost someinterest in it. Not all girls,

(11:58):
but a lot of girls did.Whereas if you had just said, here
are the problems, and math couldhave been like history or science or English,
that would have never happened, andso we alienated a lot of females.
It was. It was a failurein education, is what it was.
And that's what they're talking about therein nineteen ninety they're going, oh,
guys are better at math. Well, no, guys just want to

(12:18):
get things done quickly, and sothey leaned into that aspect of math,
which is just absurd. There yougo, there's your little back to Bayside
educational history tidbit for the day.It is possible, though, like that
Jesse who is very smart, Likebeing smart doesn't necessarily mean that you're good
at math. No, if shewas, if she was gonna have our
time, I would say that's probablya fair thing. Like she's she's very

(12:43):
good with the words and all that. Like. And also geometry is the
weird boy. Like you do allof this math that's computation and word problems,
you get a geometry and it's proofs, Well, what's funny is I
actually geometry was the math that Iwas the best at. It's usually how
it works. Yeah, everything outlike everything else. I just I don't
know what's going on here, butjeometry angles. Let's go, baby,
it's cute obviously two. Um,so this is happening. Slater comes over.

(13:11):
It's teachers a math. She's startingto get a little hot and heavy.
Is getting a little hot and heavy. Now Zach club climbs through the
window as he does from time totime, and Jesse's room and their neighbors.
It's important. We've missed the wholething here. What do you mean
the whole thing? Because before Zachcomes in and Kelly does that, uh,

(13:31):
they have to get the three girlsrecorded. Um, and we've not
we didn't touch that. That's right. That happens that they don't want to
do the thing. And then Zachsay if we had a tape of him,
So he dresses screech up as afemale janitor goes in the locker room,
puts a microphone on the mop that'sright, and records them singing I
don't have time for this. Yeah, and then she hears Zach gotta be

(13:52):
plus she gotta see on the quiz, the geometry quiz, and now Slater's
gonna help her because Slater gets themath because he's a bull. He's a
bull, so helping getting hot andheavy. Um, Zach climbs through the
window and it's like, hey,the record label loved the tape. They
loved it. And she's like, what tape And he's like, the tape
that Screech recorded when he dressed uplike a woman and give one to the

(14:13):
ladies locker room, no problem,um, And so it's not probably they
want to hear you. Um,they like, there's some other females.
I think we should make a musicvideo to like really make you guys special.
So um Slater saying good night anduh gets a little kissy kiss and

(14:35):
on his way out, Um discoversthese caffeine caffeine pills and he's like,
these are not good. And she'slike they're over the counter, over the
counter, nonprofit, no problems,on the up and up. And he's
like, no, they're not onthe up and up. Their habit forming
it says it right here, areway worse than Yes, that's right,

(14:56):
And she's like, oh, you'reprobably right. But after he leaves,
after the kiss, he is shedoes pop pops a pill and that is
when she begins to go down therabbit hole of hard drug crushes. The
test though crushes. She does Dewey'sgeometry mid term. Well, we don't
even really know if she did crushit. We never get a grade.

(15:16):
But she she's very confident in herability. Um, she gets time to
make a music video. We getto see that full, full music video,
all all, all of it,every minute of it. We get
to see all of it. It'sa full it's like two and a half
minutes, three minutes of a musicvideo. Mind of it. You gotta
mack and roh you wait see nothingyet? Um, two outfits? So

(15:43):
they did they do double It's edited, there's close ups, there's frame ends,
there's a whole thing and um mirrorsLike they loved the video. Why
wouldn't they it's professionally produced. Yes, and so they want to hear you
sing at the at the Max.Now, Um, they're at school and
Slater's like, hey, can Iborrow a pencil? She's like yeah,

(16:03):
it's in the backpack and he discoversh caffeine pills are here. She's taken
them, and he's like, youdo anything like this is bad. She's
like, you don't know me,you don't know, you don't know.
Get out of here. You think, as we kissed once, you're special.
So she heads off, and Slatertries to tell Zach, hey,
Jesse's on drugs, the hard stuff, hard stuff, and guy, listen,

(16:25):
we're not look down playing someone who'sbeen so excited for years. I
can. I can tell you thatcaffeine is is technically a stimulants. Um.
But to just make that leap kevinecan be a problem. But to
make that I will. Like ifI'm Zach and I'm Jesse's friend, I've

(16:45):
been friends with her since she wasa kid, we're neighbors. If I
hear she's on drugs, I wouldsay, oh, no, she's not.
Yes, but caffeine pills. Totallycan believe that. So whatever.
But anyways, so I just amiscommunication. I think by Slater he handled
that situation wrong. Um. Buthe tells Zach Zach shrugs it off.

(17:07):
Um. They have a big rehearsalat the Max. It's amazing, and
and Jesse's visibly amped, like justlike yelling. She's shaking, she's clapping.
She's like, let's go, let'sdo let's dort so uh, yes,
that's during practice. It's the nightof the big, big, big
showdown. And Zach goes to Jesse'shouse and Jesse's just asleep, face down

(17:30):
in the dirt. She says, this doesn't her and uh, she'sa fay
no and uh. He's like whatis going on? Like we gotta get
going, and she's very frowzled. We gotta do the test and he's like,
you already took the test. She'slike, oh, I gotta get
my outfit and he's like he's bringingit and um, She's like I need

(17:52):
to take away these and whips outthe pills and and and Zach is like
you are on drugs? What? And we get the bills fall he wrestles
her. She sings, I'm soexcited what you hear here in a minute?
And uh because like listen, it'syou. It's okay, Like you
don't have to be scared, andhas this big moment with her. She
ends up not going to the performanceScreech, but they do. They do

(18:15):
go forward with a performance with LisaKelly and Screech and Slater tells the record
guy, hey, maybe you shouldcome back. Other girls just on drugs
doesn't say that, but what canyou do? Um? The game comes
over and it's comforting her and they'relike, no, don't worry about it.
You gotta worry about you, girl, and Slater walks in gives her
flowers and they have a nice littlemoment and Zach apologize as a slatter for

(18:40):
not believing him about the drug situation. And that was Jesse's song. It's
time for our next segment, SoI do Jesse, what a nice from
the episode. Yeah, that's coolwith that. It's time where we talk
about whether or not we love thisepisode excited us or we didn't like it

(19:03):
it scared us. Dano, Oh, I'm excited. I mean this is
a this is a minted classic, and this is the first of many very
special episodes that say by the Bellwill do over the next two and a
half seasons, and they are goingfor it. Do they take Kathe and
PILSI seriously? Yes they do?Is it hilarious? Absolutely? Do they

(19:26):
also give it they're all from anacting standpoint, Yes they do. Jesse
Spano, Elizabeth Berkeley's giving a performancehere she's giving a legitimate performance. Here
there are laughs to be had.But boy is it fun to watch them
take on serious drama unintentionally and intentionally, and it's fun. I had a
blast. It's a classic. Itlived up to its building. I told

(19:48):
you afterwards, Like I mean whenI watched it as a kid, I
felt like that episode lasted an hour, Like I felt like there was this
termol, like what are we gonnado? Jesse's going down the wrong path,
but in the show is an adult. It's like she's on drugs,
no stop, and it's over. That's It's that quick. So it's great.
It's great fun. I recommend gocheck it out for sure. Um.

(20:11):
C yes, love this episode.It's fantastic. I I I feel
for the crowd though. That showedup on a Friday night and I was
getting ready for fun and hijings andall they got was I'm so excited,
was scared, not a peep tobe heard, just like, oh what
do we want into here tonight?Um? And so I feel for them,
But it's a great episode of television. We get a lot of great

(20:33):
you know, we get the classicsscreen dressing up like a woman, which
always is a laugh. It's justevery's always a laugh. Um. And
uh, if you think that's theonly sit comment and I to do that,
you could have a seeing television.No. Um, so just a
great it's a great episode. It'sfantastic and uh it truly is the first

(20:55):
very special episode. And I wouldsay it's it's the first like real classic.
This is a classic classic. True, Save the Max as a classic.
But this is if you were toask anybody about like name us say
by the Bell episode, I thinkthat most people would save this this episode.
So the first one I say,max is I think Save the Max
is the first classic move. Yeah, this is more classic, it's more

(21:18):
classic, more class more classics forthe classics. But yes, absolutely it's
the best. I love it somuch. It's so excited time out time
aut as far as show we time, well, this episode made U stop,
med us laugh, madeus do whateverit is that made us say time
out dan so many in this episode. Um. But I do need to
point out straight away, uh itis it's been two weeks since you've heard
us too. Back to Basia. But the last episode is Miss bay Side

(21:41):
and it is a bold move.Creators have saved by the Bell two.
In one episode, have Kelly bea terrible, awful singer and in the
very next episode have her be goodenough to try out for a record deal.
Yeah, I was saying about thattoo. That is bold, even
by ninety six come standards. That'sbold. Like to say, oh my

(22:03):
gosh, she can't sing, andthen to turn around and say, oh
my gosh, she should be andthe next new Kids on the Block girl
band is absurd. And to haveJesse go from we shouldn't objectify women's bodies
to being in a music video that'sdefinitely inappropriate for high school kids also bold,
bold, bold, bold on yourpart, Saved by the Belt.

(22:26):
At one point, Belding is inthe Max eating a meeting three. Yeah,
I don't there's so much in thatsentence. I have to unpact.
But Jesse's worried and she finds Beldingin the school restaurant. But he's not
eating pizza or burgers. He's eatinga meeting three. He's eating like a
Salisbury steak, like some mashed potatoes, some green beans. What old is

(22:49):
the Max serve? Is the kitchenjust limitless? And why is Belding going
there to eat if you're a principal, you're not gonna go to the school
restaurant to eat on your spare time. He's out observing lunch. He's just
there for a nice relaxing meal byhimself. I don't understand it. Uh,
mister Dewey is back in this episode, God bless him, and he

(23:11):
calls zach Z person. What's that? Z person is what he calls zombie?
I don't I don't know. ZYeah, that's what I got.
Oh, and just guys, caffeinedoesn't do this. I don't know,
Like caffeine does not. Like youcan take too much caffeine. It will
speed your heart up. It cancause arrhythmia, it can cause you to

(23:33):
have heart issues down the line.As I searched my com from yea,
I just I just the amount ofcaffeine you would have to drink. It
doesn't do what they're saying it doesin the show. I'm sorry, Yeah,
this would be more like a likespeed cocaine. Yeah, yeah,
I actual real drug. From whatI've heard. Yeah, from what we've

(23:55):
heard, that's what the internet says. The Internet says when I google heart
drugs, um can you can canteens buy caffeine pills over the counter you
can buy, yes, you could. They can't call them caffeine pills.
But when I was in high school, I know because I bought some one
time. Um, and they're oftendan Dan. I was on a youth

(24:15):
trip. You're on hard drugs. You're on hard drugs on you can't stay
up all night and I wanted alittle extra pop pop and so I bought
uh energy, it're called energy nowawful. My stomach hurt, But it
was like because you you're some herbecause he thought it was because I was
still drinking drug a ton of doctorpepper with it. It's like I just
took the pills. Probably had twohundred ounces of doctor pepper and the caffeine

(24:38):
pills and I still didn't go nuts. But it did make me feel like
like sick to my stomach. Youfelt guilty, you're doing drugs I wasn't
doing. I tell my parents itwas over the counter. It's non profit.
It literally it wasn't even like overthe counter. Hend like I could
reach them on my side of thecounter in the gas station. As I

(25:00):
finally come to terms, you wantto do a vlog where we try them
because they're They're in every store.Yeah, I've I've come to terms with
the fact that Lisa Callie Jesse they'redumb. They're dumb because because Screech walks
in and it is clear, it'sclearly screened, they are dumb. I

(25:22):
know it's a joke. I knowit's a funny ha haa Like earlier when
they're dumb, Zach dresses his babyin an episode right like you you could
it's you can tell it, Zach. But they've at least done the work
to make him look But I guessyou could say, hey, Lisa did
his makeup, Zach just through awig. You know, they're dumb.

(25:42):
Yeah, they're dumb. They're dumb. Dumb um. I am just uh.
I have a lot of questions inregards to this music video. Um,
the production, the production quality itdid seemed very up to the standards
of a nineties early nineties music video. Lots of weird effects and mirrors,

(26:03):
and so who did Zach pacer? What is because they were doing this un
you know, unprompted by the produces, just a little something to sweep the
Fall special sauce. But I mean, if you're not if you're not like
I have. You've never seen theepisode. You're like, oh, they
made it, they made it bigtime, and then you realize, no,

(26:25):
Zach is producing this video with Screechprobably and they put it together as
quick as they did. They wrotethe song. They did everything in a
day. It's they wrote that song. It's a buddy band. They wrote
the song. Yeah, they wrotethe song. That poreography everything. I
I wish I knew more about whatall went into this. It's a buddy
band situation. It's a buddy bandsituation. Yes, remember buddy bands.

(26:48):
They do the music video. Iremember it, yeah, like it was
yesterday, Like it was yes soyesterday so yesterday like a burning I've flown
away. So we sung that songand then we last week we sang that
song and then that's how we gotto Nelly for Tato. Yeah, because
it sounds that's how it happened.Because I bust say Bird. I was
thinking, how did we get onthe Nelly for Tato we got? Then

(27:11):
it was because of Hillary Duff? How did we get on the Hillary Duff
trade? I don't remember that.Chad Michael Murray, Chad Michael Murray,
they're related. How did they dateCinderella Story. Cinderella Story that we we
I remember the whole thing, Rememberthe whole thing. It was after the
Bethany Jorylyn's interview, was it?Yeah? Because he was who was in
this One Tree Hill? This isgood stuff. It's a great movie.

(27:33):
I've never seen it. Never wentto hard No from Dan Oh you nursingson
Rell Story, Hillary Duf, ChadMichael Murray. I probably in my mid
twenties when that came to Google that. I want to I'm gonna play close
to the pen on Rotten Tomatoes.Okay, all right, closest to the
pin. I uh. It wastwo thousand and four. I was twenty
one. Oh holy yeah, goodluck, good luck. It makes me

(27:56):
feel like it's really low. ButI'm gonna go oh with a smooth I'm
gonna go twenty seven percent, twelvetwelve percent. I'm you don't see many
at twelve twenty five. Ah,that's close to that. That's twelve percent.
Good gosh, that movie must beawful. I want to know who
gave it a positive You what reallot? Neil Minnow from Common Sense Media.

(28:25):
That's the Yeah, that's the that'sthe family friendly one. Oh Rachel
Wagner from Rachel's reviews. Nah,seriously, what Jennifer Coolidge is so funny
as the evil stepmother? She hasso many good lines. She's got seven
point seven out of ten from Rachel. Seven out of ten, Race,
Rachel, some decorum, Just actlike a critic. That's terrible. Yeah,

(28:45):
that's tough. That review was addedin twenty nineteen, so this was
lower than twelve percent before that.So I like, I have fond memories
of this movie. But seven outof ten even the audio interviewser one and
a half two three, nobody's atseven of ten? Nobody? No,

(29:06):
what are you doing? Rachel?Right, come on, what can you
do? Um? What were wedoing? We were talking about the timeouts?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'mgood his production quality of the video?
Oh yeah, how'd everybody do that? Um? Still got questions about
what the test was that she wastaking and what she actually got on the

(29:27):
test, because we don't actually know, like did she learn did she learn
geometry? Because if so, keepdoing those caffeine pills. Pal. You
know, caffeine has been proven tohelp short term memory. So if you
were this is true, if youwere to had a big test, I
would tell my APU as history students, this true, I would tell them.
You would give them caffeine pills.I would not do that. Before

(29:48):
the test. You'd say, hey, guys, lettle special. I would
say, get a good night's sleep, so big, I would encourage him,
get a good night's sleep. Afteryou get a good night's sleep.
When you're eating breakfast, have somecaffeine and breakfast, not a lot.
You don't want to be jittery andlike handshaking because you had so much caffeine.
But have a coke, have acup of coffee, have something,
because in the short term it doeshelp your memory. So if me ask

(30:11):
you this as a teacher, ifcocaine proved to help, cocaine's not legal
brand, gah gee, I'm agood educator. Gosh darn it, says
the Guy podcast. Every junior Iever taught past the APIs history, name
everyone and now you're just letting themdown. You're letting them and yeah,

(30:34):
they text me and they're like, where are you teaching now? Still podcasting?
Why aren't you teaching? Because I'mdoing it. I'm talking to a
microphone. This more fun, Well, I do here more fun. Sometimes
I work nine to twelve. SometimesI wake up, I say, oh,
let's go back to sleep. That'sright. Yeah, it's a snow

(30:56):
day for um. All right.Last segment Friends Forever. It's the part
of the show where we talk aboutany Save by the Bell news that we
have, which we don't have anySave by the Belt news. But we
are going to give you five throughfour of dust all the way five through

(31:18):
four. You gotta drag this outbecause you don't have if you got any
more news in the next couple ofI do want a little bit of an
update. There are four total positivereviews on Rotten Tomatoes. We know one
for four Cinderella Story. So whatthat means is is four so one of
them is a family friendly website thatif it's said, they're gonna give them.
One of them was in twenty nineteen, and if you take the twenty

(31:41):
nineteen went out, they were inthe single digits. Single digits. Um,
but I do want to read you, uh, Ed Gonzalez Slamp Magazine,
who gave it a zero out offour and said, if some films
are made to order, the marketresearch Cinderella has the stretch marks to prove
it. That's what Ed said.It Slant magazine and over there with you're

(32:05):
out of four ratings, shit outof your slant uh number five checkmate.
From season three, Screech goes intoa chess competition um number four date auction,
also out of seas classic. Yeah, excited about that one. Oh
boy, I'm excited about this one. Screeches spaghetti sauce. You heard of
that one? Oh yeah? AndI think does Zach steal his recipe and

(32:30):
like doesn't call there's a whole bit. I'm excited about that one. Number
two the Basside Triangle, what's that? The most powerful episode featuring Screech was
undoubtedly the one from season four, which threatened to de rail his friendship with
Zach permanently. It all started withZach and Lisa share Oh Zach and Lisa
kiss thee Yeah they did it inreal life. They did Laura and last,

(32:52):
but at least number one graduation. He gives a speech at graduation,
big five. Come on, guys, watch him, Dustin diamonds. What
we're getting at watching Dustin discreet. He's fantastic in this show, fantastic and
that is all that he was fantasticin. But we should all be We
could all these others inimitable character. It's fantastic. Um all right, everybody,

(33:12):
we did it. We're gonna beback in two weeks, but back
next week with the Yo gavel gavel. Until then, get back to class.
You're about to hear some ads thathelp keep the lights on here at
the studio. Feel free to listen, feel free to turn it off whatever

(33:35):
