This episode was recorded to help entrepreneurs understand how their mindset affects their ability to close sales, especially big-ticket sales.  Often times salespeople fail to close sales because they are afraid to ask for dollar amounts that are higher than they normally spend their self. Salespeople must understand some people have more disposable income than others and they are willing to spend more money on valuable products and services. Half of the battle is won by adopting a salesperson mindset rather than having a consumer mindset. Salespeople follow a specific sales process that guides them to enable them to close sales when the product or service is right for the potential customer; whereas, consumers focus on the cost relative to the benefits of the product or service. In simple terms, many people don't close sales because they are too afraid to lay all the facts out for the customer so they can decide if the benefits are worth the costs. Therefore, this podcast episode aims to teach entrepreneurs how to think like a salesperson instead of being in consumer mode.
