tell you seniors everything you need toknow about the act. First, it's
important to be well rested im mentallyprepared on act day, so make sure
you get plenty of sleep. Tryto eat a good breakfast before the test,
unless breakfast just isn't your thing.And on the way to school,
listen to some relaxing music or aninteresting podcast like this one to make sure
you are calm, cool and collectedon your drive in. Make sure you

allowed. Make sure you have twowooden pencils, but the good ones like
the Taekwondo Roga, because those onesdon't break every time you're traveling a pencil.

essentials. In addition to pencils,you'll also need to bring your driver's license,

I mean, like, what ifI don't have an ID. Well,
if you don't have an ID,you will have to find a teacher
in the building to come to yourtesting room and identify you betty, just
to find your wallet and get inwith an ID, than to deal with
any extra stress. Oh that makessense now okay, I'll be quiet.
Okay, good, Please do anyway. Calculators will be provided if you need
one, but you also have theoption to bring your own trusty calculator if

you prefer. Just check the ACTwebsite in advance and make sure it's an
approved calculator. Hey Marzilla, notnow, Jackson. Sorry, I'll tip
it okay, let's recap. Makesure you do bring number two what in
pencils, your driver's license, permitor school ID, and an act approves
calculator. If you wish, donot bring highlighters, you will not be
allowed to use them. The mostimportant thing is to be there on time.

You will not be able to takethe test if you show up after
it starts. You also not beallowed to have your phone or smart watch
on you during the test. Youmay want to leave these in your car.
If you're not a fan of thatidea, go ahead and turn your
phone off or put it in airplanemode and put it in your bag.
You want to put all of yourstuff at the front of the room when
you walk into your test room.You will have a break in the middle
of the test. PTSO is providingsnacks, so this is a good opportunity

to take a bathroom break, eata snack, and have a drink.
Just don't overdo it. Finally,and most importantly, make sure you bring
a note for your parent or guardiangiving you permission to leave. You'll give
your note to your test proctor.Don't forget it. Believe me, you
will want to go home and takea nap after the test. That's all
