(00:00):
Bear Talk is produced by the Golden Bear Gazette Mt. Juliet High School Student newspaper.
(00:04):
Hey everyone, welcome back to Bear Talk.
I'm your host Sheldyn and I'm your host Gracyn.
And in today's episode we will be talking about how the yearbook staffs spend our snow vacation.
(00:27):
We just thought this would be really interesting topic because I feel like everyone spends it differently.
And I think we all no matter what, enjoy our days off.
So I spent my time going outside and playing with my dogs because they love the snow even though it's cold.
And they like to catch snowballs in their mouth, which is interesting and they love to run around in it.
And then whenever I wasn't outside with my dogs, I was reading and cuddled up on the couch to watch movies.
(00:52):
Because I was enjoying my time.
So fun, I accidentally, but like intentionally got snowed in with my best friends on accident.
Of course.
And I literally spent every single day of break with them.
And we went sledding like every day.
We played in the snow.
I made a little snowman.
And while we were sledding, I almost broke a couple bones, but it's okay.
(01:14):
It would have made a good story.
So yeah.
I wish I would have made a snowman, but I didn't get to it.
Well my snowman was probably two feet tall.
So it's okay.
Yours was so big.
All right.
And now here's the rest of our staff with how they spent their snow days.
I spent my five day snow week just hanging out at the house with my wife and my cats.
(01:35):
And it was very relaxing to just really do nothing.
So you know, if you know where I live, you know it gets pretty icy and snowy out there.
So I was pretty excited just to appreciate that and enjoy that.
I hope no one knows where you live.
Watertown
My name is Annaka Johnson and over the snow break, I just laid in bed and watched Squid Game.
(01:59):
I watched the whole season.
I finished it in like a few days.
And yeah, I just chilled out at my house and watched shows and laid with my cats.
And that's about it.
I played Squid Game's on Roblox
Did you do this?
Did you take out green light?
Yeah.
Did people fall for it?
(02:20):
Yeah.
And I did the cookie.
Did you?
Did you?
Which one did you get?
I got the star.
Hi, my name is Shelby.
And this is how my snowcation went.
Me and my sister were playing out in the snow and she slipped on ice and completely shattered her bone in her arm.
And I had to rush her to the hospital and when we were rushing to the hospital, I almost slipped off the road and slipped into a ditch.
(02:42):
And almost crashed the car.
But overall, it was pretty good.
The week after our extended snowcation, I went skiing with my family in North Carolina and I had an amazing time.
