Jonathan Turley talk about James Comy and this was so important.
I couldn't find the video, but I wrote this down verbatim,
word for word, about Jonathan Turley and what he thinks

is going on with James Comy. And this is how
it was that my validation eighteen USC one thousand and one,
which is I thought was one of going to be
one of the United States co charges against James Comy.
So Jonathan Turley said, there's a crushing irony here because

the one I suspected, and eighteen USC. Fifteen oh five,
The first one is the very same crime that Comy
made against Michael Flynn, and Comy gave speeches delighting in
crowds explaining how well he did with Flynn. Wasn't exactly

copasetic that he sent a couple guys over to the
White House and basically tricked Flynn. These are the words
of Turley, not me. Ultimately they charged him on what
many of us thought was a pretty thin indictment. So
there is that irony. These two counts are mirror images.

also constituted the obstruction. Now, the interesting aspect to this
is that it's very, very hard to make out perjury
cases against particularly sophisticated players like James Gomi. BZ says,

they're just focusing on one statement, and that is, did

you get somebody else to leak information? Now that's true
or false? This is Turley writing that's true or false.
And his aid and close associate McCabe said that he
did order him to authorize him to make such a

Columbia law professor Daniel Richmond. Yes, you heard that name again,
to get information to the New York Times into the
media after he was fired. Now, this is a rather
murky situation for Comy. He's a careful player, but he's
also a bit of a rogue operator when things get tense.
He went rogue with the Clinton press conference, but he

particularly went rogue when he was being fired. He removed
material from the FBI. The Inspector General issued a scathing
report saying that he violated FBI rules, but it did
not find that he leaked classified information. But that information
was FBI information, it should never have been removed. And

then he himself admitted that he called up a friend
to leak some information to the media. Now that doesn't
actually give him a pristine appearance, it suggests a fact
foundation for this type of charge. None of us are
happy about seeing political opponents charged, so this case is
going to remain controversial. The President truly despises this individual,

and it appears it's a mutual feeling. But when you
look at the charge itself, it is different from what
people might have thought. It's going to come down to
whether Jim Comey is a leaguer and a liar. And
I'm going to leave you with this tonight. My guess

is that this is going to be a toe into
legal waters. And this is a test bed because they
have to do it prior to the expiration of before
they can charge him, and that is not far from occurring.

The rules of evidence in the federal government are looser
than they are in most states. That's a plus, But
before the charges expire, they had to do something. Now
here's here's the tow in the water. If somehow an

indictment is acquired and Comy has found guilty, this opens
a door to just about anyone and everyone else. If
Komi gets thrown down the well that that leaves open

investigative possibilities for a whole host of other individuals up
to and leading to the the PHISA Court. And I

have been held to the fruit of the Poisonous Tree doctrine.
And if it becomes revealed that Komy and anyone else
because to embarrass the PHISA Court, they don't like that,
that's very, very bad. But if it comes back that
the PHISI Court was duped and lied to, that essentially

means that the federal equivalent of the fruit of the
Poisonous Tree doctrine must hold. And what that means is
everything from a certain point when it's discovered that it
is rotten fruit, everything from that point out is expunged
and removed. And not just Komy is in this hot seat,

all the rest of the people in that sphere, up
to and including Barack Hussein Obama are looking very carefully
at James Komy. The chink in the armor, the weakest
point if we can find on these two charges which
