Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello. I'm doctor Kiara Simeon di Francesco and I am
the co founder, together with Romwald B. Simeon, of the
Jesus Centered Institute LLC. This is an evangelizing and publishing
ministry where our whole goal is to help be connectors

(00:24):
of you to Jesus Christ. We welcome your comments and
your thoughts. You can contact me at admin at Jesus
hyphen Centered Institute dot org. Also, I invite you to
check out our website and again the website is Jesus

(00:46):
hyphen Centered Institute dot org. And I would like now
to introduce to you this special series that we are
starting in person and online, and it is called Scriptural
Pastoral Foundations, and it's an invitation to get up close

(01:11):
in personal with Jesus. The Scriptural Pastoral Foundations are based
on the books of Professor Roman Simeon, and these books
are called Bible Love Letters from Your Father Books of John,
and we have in them volume one A and one

(01:33):
B Gospel of John, and then volume two is Letters
of John and volume three is Revelations and each of
these go through the scriptures with inspiration and genius, helping

(01:56):
us to understand the full cost text in the meaning
of the Word of God and apply it to our lives.
So it's like reading the Bible, verse by verse, but
in very slow motion. And that is why the books

(02:16):
are Actually the Gospel of John is quite thick. We
now have it divided up into two volumes, and these
are accompanied by videos. And these videos explicate the books,

(02:38):
and the books explicate the written scriptures the Word of God.
So Professor Simeon is a genetic historian, philosopher, and theologian,
also a missionary, both in the United States, doing an
entire life of mission work evangelizing as well as ten

(03:03):
years abroad. And his variety of experiences over fifty plus
decades of focusing on witnessing the Lord have contributed to
an amazing wealth of experience that allows him to connect

(03:26):
with persons of every age. And what you may not
know is that Professor Roumold, up to the very day
of his going, passing from this life to the next,
as he says, closing his eyes to this life and
opening them to the next, would ride his bicycle into

(03:49):
the parks, the highways, and the byway as we call it,
and he would talk to persons of all ages, children, teenagers, mothers, fathers, bikers,
those with no faith, and those with very deep faith,

(04:09):
and with a very infectious sense of humor. He had
a wonderful way of talking to everyone. And you're going
to find in his videos examples of life that are
both fascinating from his life but also ideas on how

(04:31):
to actually live out the Gospel life as Jesus shows us.
And so these videos take and his writings take all
of the history, the Jewish history, and the exegesis of
the fathers of the Catholic Church, and the application of

(04:56):
the saints, and takes these thousands and thousands of books
that his very bright mind. He started to read by
the way at age four, and his IQ was so
high in grade school that it went He got the

(05:16):
Jesse Ketchum Regions of New York Metal, didn't know what
to do with it and tossed it over his shoulders.
I guess he was embarrassed, the little guy. But he
was so brilliant that he was the buzz of all
the teachers when they got his IQ scores. So this
this little guy started at age four and was a

(05:38):
book a day reader. So he condensed in his head
thousands of books of understanding the scriptures and the saints
and the history. And so when he passed his exams,
he passed exams at Fordham where no one ever got

(06:03):
one hundred percents. So you know, I'm just giving you
a little glimpse of his brilliance. But more than that,
his holiness pervades his writings, and so I would as
his protege, as he calls me his zeitisure, I want

(06:24):
to introduce you and invite you to this experience. It's
not just a course, but an experience, an encounter called
the Scriptural Pastoral Foundations based on these books of John.
And we'll be starting with the Gospel of John. And
we're going to be starting high bred, which means the

(06:50):
presentation that I will start with a reading from the
Gospel and then one of Professor Romald Simeon's videos that
explicate that set of versus. We'll go through those, and
then we're going to be breaking up into small groups.

(07:11):
And I have one of my trained group leaders, Sam Wood,
that will be taking some of the online breakout sessions,
and I will be doing in person at one of
our local parishes and the details and the start dates
will be announced we're currently looking at the fall of

(07:35):
twenty twenty five, and we'll also be training I will
be training some group leaders to help me with these
small group breakouts. So I invite you to express your
interest to email me or to sign up via the

(07:55):
registration link on the first home page of our website
Jesus hyphen Centered Institute dot org, and there will be
further details coming about the when, the where. If you
sign up, you'll get a zoom link. Currently there is
no charge for the course. You will be needing to
purchase a book though, because we want you really to

(08:19):
be invited to go to delight in feeding your soul
by going deep into what is written in Bible love
letters from your father, which is Saint Jerome's expression. By
the way, that's what he called the scriptures the Books

(08:39):
of John, starting with the Gospel of John. And this
is not a book that you read cover to cover.
It's something you savor. You do a lect show divina
on it, and that's why that is also added to
the title, just as Romold did his own lect show
divina in accord with his study and his exegesis. He

(09:05):
invites you to do that and to make it personal
and see how our Lord Jesus the Christ, who is
not a dead God but alive God, speaks to your
heart in your own circumstance of your life. So stay
tuned for more information. It will appear the details of

(09:27):
the start date on our website, but we invite you
to go ahead and register now, so you make sure
that you get into the class and that we can
manage the numbers that sign up for the online group
as well as the in person group that's likely to
be in Nina, Wisconsin at one of the parishes. So

(09:50):
we'll get those details down. In the meantime, let us
pray for each other. God bless you, and thank you
for your attention. Bye.
