Speaker 1 (07:58):
He can give the judge, Oh, coach prime. It's nice
to finally have some free time. Gives your chance to
reflect on the important things like Apple Like pays people
money and expensive. Health insurance doesn't come. Health insurance does

(08:19):
leave a gap, but Apple Like gets people money to
help close.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
That gaprime going on the last too made.

Speaker 17 (09:06):
Change, And even when I was close to defeat, I'm
going to stay.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Someone across the still get the numbers. Taking myself sick.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
You always redirect money into better situations. I remember I
interviewed one of the guys who the war Dogs movie
was based off, and I, you know, you hear things.
We don't always register things. I remember I asked them,
you know what the budget is for defense in the US.
He said eight hundred billion dollars a year, eight hundred

(09:55):
billion with a beat.

Speaker 15 (09:56):
I thought it was two hundred and fifty.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
It used to be that.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
It's been up over the years, probably about five ten
years ago, it was that all right. If you talk
about the Pentagon alone, they spent billions.

Speaker 18 (10:07):
Yeah, about eight hundred billion.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Well in totally eight hundred billion dollars.

Speaker 19 (10:12):
Yes, that's magic per just that's per year, yeah, per year,
per year, eight hundred billion.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, that's the entire Pentagon budget.

Speaker 18 (10:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Yeah, I had no idea. Yeah, it's not eight hundred
billion dollars in a year. Yeah, on weapons.

Speaker 8 (10:28):
Yeah, it's about ten times more than like the next
five biggest countries combined.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Yes, something like that. So eight hundred billion dollars.

Speaker 15 (10:38):
That mean in thirteen years if we applied the same
amount to reparations.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Wait, wait, I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Speaker 6 (10:49):
Twenty twenty five eight hundred and ninety two point six
billion dollars ago almost nine hundred, almost nine hundred billions.

Speaker 15 (10:57):
Econom Miss have concluded on several economists that can have
concluded that black reparations would amount to between thirteen and
seventeen trillion dollars.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Trillion dollars.

Speaker 15 (11:09):
Yes, we're spending You just said one trillion a year
on defense.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, just give us half of that. Just give this
stores half above hundred billion.

Speaker 15 (11:19):
Yeah, there was five hundred million per year, and were
stretched it out to twenty five years.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
I mean, listen, I remember, you know, this was when
I was you know, I was going viral for these comments.
I remember at the time, this is before the pandemic.
I said, I don't think that cash payments for black
preparation is going to work because of the amount of money.
It was probably bankrupt the country. I suggested, for example,
like you know, free college education and so forth. And

(11:46):
people got on me, and I was like Oh that's
not fair. What about Jewish people? Your people got reparations
from Germany and so forth, and then the pandemic happen.
And I saw the amount of money that the US
gave out and I said, you know something, I was wrong.

Speaker 12 (11:58):
I was wrong.

Speaker 15 (11:59):
I think in they kind of the.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
US got it. If the US want to pay black
people back to slavery, that cash is actually why I'd
apologize that.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Imanbia you we talked about that as one of my shows.

Speaker 15 (12:10):
And also I've always and I've been a member of
In fact, I helped write the reparations legislation as.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
A student assistant to CONRESSMNSN. Conness when he drafted it.

Speaker 15 (12:25):
And I've always, as part of the reparations movement advocated
pursuing corporations that have survived, on corporations that profited from
slavery and have survived, And there are many who.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Participated in the slave trade.

Speaker 15 (12:46):
We know that Wall Street financed much of the slave trade,
so in that sense, they can pay without bankrupting their individuals.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean there's actually we see a
list of corporations like this about to pull it up.
The ones that we know about.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
Lehman Brothers, Edna, JP Morgan New York Life Insurance. Yeah,
and then Rothschilder's Son's Bank in London, Norfolk Southern. That's
the train right USA today Fleet Boston's CSX, Canadian National Railway,

(13:28):
Brown Brothers, Harriman, Brooks Brothers, Barclays, the Barclays Center over
in Brooklyn, and it's new to black people.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Like it all that, right, that's good.

Speaker 15 (13:37):
Not to say anybody you mentioned over the course of years,
they've made kids in Trillians.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, yeah, I agree, man, I agree. So now do
you think it will happen in our lifetime?

Speaker 20 (13:52):
Yes?

Speaker 15 (13:52):
WHOA But that well, we didn't think we'd have a
black president in our lifetime for sure. So I'll never
do And you don't know, let's you try and so
let's get keep trying and see what happens.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Yeah, And I mean you've seen small.

Speaker 6 (14:07):
Instances of this at certain universities and or they Harvard
did something about that, and a couple of the universities,
and we got.

Speaker 15 (14:16):
Local municipalities who have passed reparations ordinances that also provide
assistance pursuing to that ordinance. I think there's a guaranteed
income in Chicago. I believe it is, or it was
for a short time fifteen hundred per person for a

(14:36):
certain population as part of the reparations bill. And then
you have states that can do the same. But major
cities run by African American political officials have, certainly most
of them passed ordinances supporting congressional legislation for reparations. And

(14:58):
that's why it's so important that we participate in the
system that has the resources.

Speaker 12 (15:06):
You know, I get it.

Speaker 15 (15:07):
They don't respect us, they don't want us, they don't this,
They rejected us. Why are you trying to fight your
make way into the white man's world? Why you want
to be somewhere wasn't nobody want? No, I don't want
to do any of that. I want what's mine, period.
That's that's what I want. Great great grandmama, I want
great great grandmama would.

Speaker 12 (15:26):
Have given me that, and y'all got it. Give me
my shit.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
That's how I look at it.

Speaker 15 (15:31):
Is not about anything other than justice.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
I agree. I agree.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Like I said, I've said certain things that I had to,
you know, re why back on, you know, But ultimately
I'm okay with getting more information and changing my stance.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah, that's Okay, we're.

Speaker 21 (15:49):
All wrong a certain time, and so we all have opinions,
and you get more information, and I think you're better
off absorbing the new information as opposed to just being
stubborn and saying, well, I said it before, so I
just an outstand on that and so forth.

Speaker 22 (16:03):
As long as the pitcher says they can go, Dave
Roberts and John Schneider have to bring in their best
arms in the best moments, at the best time of
the game period.

Speaker 19 (16:12):
Don't worry about anything else. Lower klining your off limits
everybody else. Put them right back out there tonight. Pick
your pockets, set it up the way you want it,
and go get them. Question for you guys, how many
guys are short? How many guys are long? When it
comes to the bullpens?

Speaker 9 (16:29):
I have Roki and or.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Blessed you being short? Yep?

Speaker 9 (16:33):
Right, yep, I got Hoffmann, Sir, Anthony and rend and
Little being short agreed, Yes, Varlan Fluherty and Fisher try
and band A Kershaw and Tryer has being ready to
go no doubt. Right would have absolute Eric.

Speaker 11 (16:48):
I think if I Chris Bassett to just eight pitches
for him in the Games of the Blue James. That
gives you another option there when you think about, you know, fishing.

Speaker 12 (16:58):
A fishing out.

Speaker 7 (17:00):
Game that's eighteen innings and you look back, they're like, wow,
did work?

Speaker 9 (17:05):
Did that work?

Speaker 7 (17:07):
That was great?

Speaker 11 (17:08):
Yeah, yesterday in the clubhouse. So we're talking with Dryer
and he's like, I'm like, yeah, so you got.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
One out of the eighteen innings, but that one out
so valuable. And that's the thing for these bullpens.

Speaker 11 (17:19):
And we mentioned it before, we've talked about it, but
if you are going to talk about how the big
question mark of the Los Angeles Dodgers was their bullpen
last night, I mean there was a lot of nail
binding going on here at Dodger Stadium. Why because we
haven't seen all those KUIs in that bullpen yet and

(17:41):
you really don't know what you're going to get. And
let's be honest, we hurt cheers. We heard cheers for
Clayton Kershaw when he was coming in. But there's a
pass of Clayton Kershaw in the postseason, and this is
a Clayton Kershaw that's retiring now and you're putting him
in and as basis mode and situation on the line,
it was it was perfect. It was story, but not
to a full count.

Speaker 7 (18:01):
He gets see out the fist pump, you're moving on right,
But to touch.

Speaker 11 (18:06):
Every single guy down there and go okay, almost a
sigh of relief, a little bit.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
You don't want those.

Speaker 7 (18:14):
Guys overuse, but you okay, we did it.

Speaker 11 (18:17):
We did it in the tightest situation that you could
posibly get a game, a tide game in extra innings,
and we utilize so.

Speaker 7 (18:22):
Many arms down there to the fact that they can perform.

Speaker 12 (18:26):
He utilized the young arms, and I think that's just
significant for me.

Speaker 23 (18:30):
I think what you did in yesterday's game was you
gave the confidence for Blessed Thee and Dashian to be
able to come back today and do it again. I
think that the commanded control they had in that game
yesterday was phenomenal in game three. I think that's going
to help them if they have to pitch a game four,
game five. Either way, I think it was a huge game,
but that bull end the game confidence that I could

(18:52):
be the guy. I also think it get Dave Rockwick's
confidence because I think going into the game, it's like, okay,
try and sosokay, that's you.

Speaker 12 (18:58):
I want to use is off the roster.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
That's the third guy I want.

Speaker 12 (19:02):
So who's my third fourth guy? If i'm him?

Speaker 23 (19:04):
Right now, I feel good about Robleski as she In
and trying it in Sasasse.

Speaker 12 (19:09):
I got four guys now that I didn't have yesterday.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
But the problem is, you don't know Broke go back
to back. You don't know.

Speaker 24 (19:19):
Saving goes for she and Saman goes for Reblessingly roll
bless me a little bit more.

Speaker 13 (19:23):
You know.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
He was pitching fish and so like that helps. That's
the part that I'm interested in. So is that more
pressure on show him? I don't think so.

Speaker 23 (19:34):
I think Showy gives you everything he has and then
Gig's got to make the decisions after that.

Speaker 12 (19:40):
It's I want to put Asaki. I don't want to
use Susaki in that. Unless I have to, I'd lie.
I'm in game five and for game six if I can't,
I don't want to go back to back. If I
canna help one uself, I don't.

Speaker 19 (19:51):
I have to get a leading shirt, okay, as far
as I have to be able to win this game
right and put him in their cross.

Speaker 12 (19:58):
But I'm absolutely again for one.

Speaker 11 (20:00):
If I win this game and you don't have a
tonne of luxury if you're the Dodgers, but you are
a game ahead, so you have a little more luxury
of being able to game plan for four and five.

Speaker 12 (20:09):
But the Blue Jays don't have that game.

Speaker 7 (20:11):
So blu Jays do not have that.

Speaker 11 (20:13):
You win tonight at all costs, and that beings at
all costs. Like, however, your backed up tomorrow, you're backed up.
I don't think the effects of yesterday are going to
show up in the way the game plans out today.

Speaker 7 (20:23):
If you have a night any game, let's say as much.

Speaker 12 (20:26):
As it's going to show up tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
I agree, you know.

Speaker 11 (20:28):
And so that was the interesting thing going in too
when the when the series shifted from Toronto to Los Angeles.

Speaker 7 (20:35):
It is now you played three games in a row
and you're planning for three games.

Speaker 11 (20:39):
Well guess what, game three became two games, So you're
planning for four games.

Speaker 7 (20:44):
If you played eighteen inns in that first game here
in LA. So that's going to make it pretty wild.
I'm going to get to your matchup tonight. Who are
you keying in on?

Speaker 23 (20:53):
Yeah, I'm king on a one point two billion dollars
I'm really going to key On that first inning Tani
against Vladimir Road.

Speaker 12 (21:00):
Two best players on the field for each team were
Toni and Guerrero.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
What does it look like?

Speaker 12 (21:06):
We've never had a World.

Speaker 23 (21:07):
Series in history where two guys faced each other for
one point two billion dollars guarantee to each.

Speaker 12 (21:13):
Of them, like going out each other. I can't wait
to see for one point two billion what it looks like.
And I guess I hope I get to see it
three times, not just twice.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
But I can't wait for that matchup. Then I don't
telling you the matchup.

Speaker 9 (21:27):
I mean I talked about it earlier with Smith and
ta Oscar, but I'm gonna even go to Shan Baber
and get T.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
K and Andie Piets because again they could change that
like that, they could change everything. They change exactly what
the way you're looking at. So I mentioned Showy doing
not if he goes, he just flows right through up.

Speaker 12 (21:47):
Yeah, guess what easy?

Speaker 9 (21:49):
But if one, if not two, get going makes the
decisions so hard on Don Schneider to see it very much,
Buck show WALFI got me where he walks him home, right, which.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Is like do you wonder? Do you wonder?

Speaker 11 (22:03):
I have a matchup for you, that's gonna be very interesting.
I'll give you the numbers first. This batter against this
picture is seven for fifteen. He has two horn runs,
four rbi as a four seven sixty seven batting average.
The player is George Springer and he's not in the lineup.
So Springer against show Hey Otani is my matchup. Because

(22:24):
what does that do now for show Heyotani, who doesn't
have to deal with that at the top of the
order for the Toronto Blue Jays, And how does that
change the games?

Speaker 8 (22:33):
Fan?

Speaker 7 (22:33):
And how you attack the Toronto Blue Jays.

Speaker 11 (22:35):
Also for John Schneider, what happens if show haes in
this game deep?

Speaker 7 (22:42):
And what happens if it's a cluss game?

Speaker 11 (22:44):
And what happens if you need a pinch hitter and
torch Springer folks and taps you on.

Speaker 7 (22:49):
The shoulder and says, okay, it all right here right
now that I'm yeah like that, Yeah, it's something.

Speaker 11 (23:02):
Want you because George Fringer is not in the starting lineup,
but he's our to hour according to the manager John.

Speaker 15 (23:11):
Light, I don't like you.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
I don't like you.

Speaker 11 (23:14):
Everyone was used yesterday in the game, just about everyone
on both of the rosters. We saw an epic historic
Game three of the World Series.

Speaker 7 (23:23):
What is to come in Game four tonight?

Speaker 2 (23:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (23:27):
We're gonna have to stay tuned as we'll have Frost
Bitch coming up for your momentarily.

Speaker 7 (23:31):
But when we returned from Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 11 (23:34):
We'll set you up with the lineups that as John

With that, it is time to get you to our
predictions of Game four. Schm Boden take it away.

Speaker 22 (25:46):
Yeah, so I think I can have a low scoring game,
you know, I think going ETV things last night wears
on the legs. I think we've got a lot of
tired players. I think we've got a lot of players
who didn't get a lot of sleep last night. And
I think you got two of the best pitchers in baseball.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Going at each other.

Speaker 22 (26:01):
Shane Bieber, former Cy Young with the Cleveland Guardians, has
given up true runs exactly each of his last five appearances.
I think he's got to pitch a really good game today.
I really love the slide of the way it's throwing.
He throws it quite a Bit'll probably throw thirty five
percent of the time tonight. And the other side, Shoey
O'tani has just had a postseason.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
That will never forget.

Speaker 12 (26:22):
He has clearly become the greatest.

Speaker 22 (26:25):
Baseball player that's ever put on a baseball uniform. And honestly,
it's an honored, a privileged to watch him play. Every
time he goes to the mound or every time he
goes to the plate. We don't know what's gonna happen.
I think we're gonna have a low scoring game. I
think we're talking about a four to two, four to
three type of game when I say low scoring, and
I've got the Dodgers going up three games to one

(26:46):
and winning this one.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Well, I think tonight is a special night. It's a
special night because.

Speaker 24 (26:54):
The ninth player in the history of the game is
gonna plays one hundred postseason games. Arn Anderz and I
find Many Ramirez, josel Twove, Bernie Williams, Derek Jeeter, Alex Gradman,
David Justice, Horti Casada and Yadier.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Molina as the others.

Speaker 9 (27:11):
That last one Puerto Rican, he garned is Puerto Rican
schae fever struggling against the right handers, and he is
as vital to this whole thing.

Speaker 12 (27:20):
He and Andy pie is, how vital they are to
get on base in front of show A.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
So I'm gonna go.

Speaker 15 (27:26):
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 12 (27:27):
It's gonna be like a nine to one game. It's
gonna be I feel like the Dodgers are gonna get rolling.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Early and it's gonna be just an onslaught.

Speaker 25 (27:32):
It's it's this is game seven, This is game seven
of of the you know, for the Blue Jays, And
if they can't get away from that early onslote, then
guess what it's.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Paul gave me. So I'm going nine to one, and
he Garrinana's big day to.

Speaker 11 (27:48):
Okay, I'm also gonna go with the Los Angeles Dodgers,
but I am going to do that in a way
because Dave Roberts is gonna get his sixty eight postseason
victory and past Bobby Cops for.
