The black man, if you are to lift himself by
his own bootstraps.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
This is what we are faced with.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
And this is a reality now when we come to
Washington in this campaign, we are coming to get our check.

Speaker 7 (03:48):
We're coming to you live from their sackey chain. Four
moments ago we ranged the opening belt. We're celebrating our
fifteenth anniversary at the trunk. This institute the beautiful, modern,
yet elegant her Stock Exchange.

Speaker 8 (04:04):
We created the Forces at Work.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
Initiative because we realized, coming out of the pandemic, worker
mental well being was critical and crucial to employ happiness.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Our most notable tradition is the signing of the books.

Speaker 8 (04:18):
More than thirty thousand signatories in this book. There are
forces that are happening in the world that are affecting
workers come. All of those things are on our research agenda.

Speaker 9 (04:26):
We certainly see mental well being as directly correlated.

Speaker 10 (04:30):
To personal wellness and personal wellness being correlated to a
business success.

Speaker 11 (04:34):
I'm here today really to talk about how being kind
to one another, how being empathetic can make us feel
better about ourselves. We can create an environment where people
feel comfortable discussing their mental health and mental wellness.

Speaker 12 (04:47):
We're going to be talking about how we blend technology
and talent development to create a culture of continuous growth
and continuous learning.

Speaker 13 (05:07):
You can always redirect money into better situations. I remember
I interviewed one of the guys who the War Dogs
movie was based off, and I, you know, you hear things,
but we don't always register things. I remember I asked them,
you know what the budget is for defense in the US.
He said eight hundred billion dollars a year, eight hundred

(05:28):
billion with a B.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Those two hundred and fifty. It used to be that.

Speaker 13 (05:33):
It's been raising up over the years, probably about five
ten years ago, it was that. Well, right, if you
talk about the Pentagon alone, they spent billions.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, about eight hundred billion. Well in total, eight hundred
billion dollars.

Speaker 14 (05:46):
Yes, that's magic per just that's per year, yeah, per year,
per year, eight hundred billion.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah, that's the entire Pentagon budget. Yeah, yeah, I had
no idea. Yeah, it's an eight hundred billion dollars a
year our weapons.

Speaker 14 (06:02):
Yeah, it's about ten times more than like the next
five biggest countries combined.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yes, something like that.

Speaker 15 (06:09):
So eight hundred billion dollars, I mean in thirteen years,
if we applied the same amount to reparations.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Wait, wait, I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Speaker 13 (06:22):
Twenty twenty five eight hundred and ninety two point six
billion dollars ago, almost nine hundreds almost nine hundred billion.

Speaker 15 (06:31):
Economists have concluded on several economists that can have concluded
that black reparations would amount to between thirteen and seventeen
trillion dollars.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Trillion dollars.

Speaker 15 (06:43):
Yes, yeah, we're spending You just said one trillion a
year on defense.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Yeah, just give us half of that.

Speaker 15 (06:50):
Just give this door us half a five hundred billion
years or five hundred billion per year, and we're stretched
out to twenty five years.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
And it listen.

Speaker 13 (06:59):
I remember, you know, this was when I was you know,
I was going viral for these comments.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I remember at the time, this was before the pandemic.

Speaker 13 (07:07):
I said, I don't I don't think that cash payments
for black preparations are going to work because of the
amount of money, you'd probably bankrupt the country. I suggested,
for example, like you know, free college education and so forth.
And people got on me and I was like, oh,
that's not affair. What about Jewish people. Your people got.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Reparations from Germany and so forth.

Speaker 13 (07:25):
And then the pandemic happened, and I saw the amount
of money that the US gave out, and I said
you know something, I was wrong.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
I was wrong. I think the US got it.

Speaker 13 (07:36):
If the US wanted to pay black people back to slavery.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Cash is actually a flop. So I had to apologize.

Speaker 13 (07:42):
I remember me and deal like hugely talked about that
in one of my shows.

Speaker 15 (07:44):
And also I've always and I've been a member of
In fact, I help write the Reparations legislation as a
student assistant to Congressman John Congos when he sacted it.
And I've always, as part of the reparations movement, advocated

(08:08):
for suing corporations that have survived. Oh, corporations that profited
from slavery and have survived.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
And there are.

Speaker 15 (08:16):
Many who participated in the slave trade. We know that
Wall Street financed much of the slave trade, so in
that sense they can pay without bankrupting their individuals.

Speaker 13 (08:32):
Yeah, yeah, I mean there's actually, let me see, there's
a list of corporations like this.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
We want to pull it up. The ones that we know.

Speaker 13 (08:40):
About, Lehman Brothers, Etna, JP Morgan, Ye, New York Life Insurance. Yeah,
and then Rothschild's Son's Bank in London, Norfolk Southern. That's
the trade right USA today, Fleet Boston's CSX, Canadian National Railway,

(09:02):
Brown Brothers, Harriman, Brooks Brothers, Barclays, the Barclays Center over
in Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, and just give it to black people. They could
own that, right, that's cool. Not to say anybody you mentioned.

Speaker 15 (09:12):
Over the course of years, they've made tens of trillions.

Speaker 13 (09:19):
Yeah, yeah, I agree, man, I agree.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
So now do you think it will happen in our lifetime?

Speaker 15 (09:28):
Well, we didn't think we'd have a black president in
our lifetime. This is trip so I'll never and you
don't know unless you try, and so let's get keep
trying and see what happens.

Speaker 13 (09:40):
Yeah, And I mean you've seen small instances of this
a certain universities and so far, I think Harvard did
something about that and a couple of the universities.

Speaker 15 (09:49):
And we got local municipalities who have passed reparations ordinances
yet also provide assistance pursuing to that ordinance. I think
there's a guaranteed income in Chicago, I believe it is,
or it was for a short time, fifteen hundred per
person for a certain population who as part of the

(10:13):
reparations bill. And then you have states that can do
the same, but major cities run by African American political
officials have certainly most of them passed ordinances supporting congressional
legislation for reparations. And that's why it's so important that

(10:33):
we participate in the system that has the resources.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
You know, I get it.

Speaker 15 (10:41):
They don't respect us, they don't want us, they don't this,
they rechecked us. Why you're trying to fight your main
way into the white man's world. Why you want to
be somewhere wasn't nobody want No, I don't want to
do any of that. I want what's mine, period, That's
what I want. Great great grandmama, I want great great grandmama.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Would have given me that. Y'all got it, Give me
my shit. That's how I look at it. Is not
about anything other than justice. I agree. I agree.

Speaker 16 (11:11):
Like I said, I've said certain things that I had to,
you know, rewind back on, you know, but ultimately I'm
okay with getting more information and changing my stance.

Speaker 17 (11:21):
Yeah, that's okay. We're all wrong certain time, and so yeah,
we all have opinions, and you get more information and
think you're better off absorbing the new information as supposed
to just being stubborn and saying, well, I said it before,
so I just got to understand on that and so forth.

Speaker 18 (11:39):

Right then, then when you're doing you want to give

And even when I was.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Close to the feet and my feet.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
But that's what losers say. Yes with those hips right,
and you gotta swing war. And if you don't have
the right insurance, you could be paid for this yourself.
So you get all stay and save money and be
protected from bayhem.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Yeah like me, hes not shining. That's funding the lumber.

Speaker 10 (18:15):
After a pause, the oh one pitch his fights in
the dirt, blocked by Will Smith. It bounced back in
front of the plate. Smith went as quickly to field
that just in case. Kepler thought about running for a second.
But if she sound it's going down, it's going to
send a little bit more. Right now, right field, there's
going to be treacherous on a old line driving wind's
been between six and twelve miles prow for the southwest.

(18:39):
Right now, the flags in center field blowing out towards
center air right center. One on, one out, one ball,
one strike. Here's the pitch they did in the air
file the third day side into the lows level seats
that's strip number two on the turnball, and last night
was gone the breaking pitches a little bit more here
and this isn't it?

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Well?

Speaker 10 (18:59):
The first time through saw me leaning on the fastball
and it was really effective. So praps run to switch
things up in the opening inning. Really with a two
innings occasionally it was a ninety mon in velocity. Scott
asked for time steps out of left handed battles box
Will Smith picks some dirt off the spikes. Gas Now

(19:20):
gathering himself on the mouth. He's had sixty eight pitches
with one out in the fifth ball in two strikes
to pitch Kepitler runs swinging a strike for you to
throw it a second, not in time to get Kepler's
a one hot throw to bat. That's what I was
talking about because Glassnow has been the tourist in his
career of taking a long time to get the ball

(19:42):
to his catcher. So even though remember only had three
stolen bases during the regular season, you take a long
time to get the ball, and glassdow in times doesn't
pay particular attention to runners, So stolen base for Capitlar.
The Phillies have a runner in scoring position for trade
turn two outs. In this fifth inning, here's the pitch

(20:08):
turner swings little number off the end of the back
right side of the field.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Edman is there.

Speaker 10 (20:11):
He gets it away quickly and accurate, leadiff ready for them,
and that ends the uning. So a leadoff walk doesn't
hurt Glass now or the doctors. We have to put
up a fifth zero one hitting the Phillies because we're
halfway hold ind four without a score.

Speaker 9 (20:28):
Your Southern California Ship and Devers have star talent at

Speaker 20 (21:25):
Are you a mortgage loan officer, real estate agent, broker,
or sales professional looking to earn more income?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Bestline business funding is looking for you.

Speaker 20 (21:33):
We're the leading merchant cash advance provider helping small and
medium sized businesses get the working capital they need back.
And now you can be part of this blooming industry.
Earn a four percent commission on every funded deal you submit,
pay the day after funding.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
And here's the kicker.

Speaker 20 (21:48):
Ninety percent of businesses renew at least six times, creating
residual income for you every time they do. Plus we
have one hundred percent transparency. You'll follow every deal from
start to finish, get a roubles in one hour and
funding as fast as the same day. But wait, there's
more for for other agents, and you earn a twenty
five percent override commission on everything they bring in for life.

(22:10):
Start earning today. Call eight hundred seven seven two eighty
six twenty four. That's eight hundred seven seven two eighty
six twenty four code word cash credit, bestline business funding,
the opportunity you've been waiting for call eight hundred seven
seven two eighty six twenty four code word cash.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Credit, glass nouns of runs well.

Speaker 10 (22:29):
And then the other thing they need to do is
to get themselves some better pitches to hit, because they
have expanded this rank zone and really helped Christopher Sanchez,
who's pitching it a good blog game. This is a
terrific game to this particular point, Googlings first and the Dodgers.
They're going to have to make some adjustments offensively.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
And do it rather quickly. Down the glass.

Speaker 10 (22:51):
Now, with five store re hittings on seventy pitches, Sanchez
has throwed just forty two pitches to get through four eighties.
Will Smith, then Alex call In, Keith a Hernandez do
up to the Dodgers this inning. The first pitch up
the fifth, Smith swings and fouls it in the air

(23:14):
down the right field line. Those seats are still in
the side the field level to the right of the poll.
Pretty much all of the pavilions save for one section
one and a half sections next to the Dodger botha.
Sanchez is one cooks for the inner half and lends

(23:36):
in there. Of course, strike two Smith. There's a free
conversation with Mark Wagner the Kuchi b after that good
pitch from Sanchos, and now Smith takes time. Smith oh
for one, running into him integating double play in the

(23:58):
second since his missus blowing outside of volunteer strikes, woods
like fans are still kind of rolling into Dodge Stadium.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Odd deem time for.

Speaker 10 (24:13):
A postseason game three Toho eight locals start here in
Los Angeles. On a one two pitch, Smith fouls one
off with his leg and he's okay.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
We'll change of the town and the Floers.

Speaker 10 (24:27):
And Cubs have the prime time slot today in the
nationally postseason to part where it's old because of the
potential travel for the Phillies back to Philadelphia and also
because of Thursday night football. Potentially the Eagles are playing
another one two pitch and that is ball too inside.

(24:47):
That's why a couple of inches great take Fostin and he's.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Still playing against in it. Twing first changes. I was
at ninety seven males an hour, so much as by
the way working on days rest.

Speaker 10 (25:02):
Is two to two Smith rolls of foul the third
base side. That is normal rest for a five man location.
Starting every fifth.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Day, four days in the tweeny, there will be normal.

Speaker 10 (25:17):
Rest for Hayes loose Lizardo with a lefty show the
Phillies fors game five. Two balls to strike, Sansha is
the Smith that is sports fallon in that north of
the Dodger doug out. Well, this is more like it

(25:38):
for the Dodger offense where you see and then put
a pitcher of guns to the grinder work with av
Atten should have invall three.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
That was a breaking goal. Well off the plate inside.
This will be the eighth pitch to Will Smith.

Speaker 10 (25:51):
Another two to two found straight back into that and
now you see the Dodger dug out and the Dodger
crowd here starting to recognize he have back quality. So
Will Smith now or beginning to catch up. You know
we will not see a lot of change ups and
miss a bath right here? Yeah yeah, how about pitch

(26:13):
number nine. Smith strikes out swinging a fastball at ninety
eight from Sanchiz.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
On the inside corner.

Speaker 10 (26:21):
A terrific pitch from the left hander bought spit the
way too, is that the Phillies look like they're just challenging.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
Will Smith And why not.

Speaker 10 (26:28):
I mean, if you look at the rectors, he's spending
off a fracture this light hand the top. So until
you can establish you can handle the ball in on
your hands as a hitter with that fractured the hand,
they're going to continue to.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Pound it there.

Speaker 10 (26:41):
Alex called about it. One out nobody on no score
in the fifth. First pitch it is that change up
off the outside corner.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
But call strike one.

Speaker 10 (26:54):
As you pitched, and Sanchez takes advantage to jump ahead
of Call, who was hit by a pitch his first
and only plate appearance that was leading off the third.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Such as deals and missing is at the top of
his own ball one. You know when you go through
that drives through any order of the ground day think
that's the strength zone Today's grund Day edition at times.
At times.

Speaker 10 (27:22):
And the one one from Sanchez, Call serves it the
other way drops down a pace hit in the right field.
Alex Call is being perfect this postseason. Every plate appearance
ball he has reached.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
Well.

Speaker 10 (27:36):
The other part too, that that would be a wonderful
message for everybody else to understand A guy that throws
a terrific change up. Think about up a minute. Don't
be afraid to go to the opposite way. Pace hits
out just as much the opposite way as they do
the pull them easy as said than done.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Here's Keith Gay.

Speaker 10 (27:57):
Her name is one on one out in the fis
first pitch slung on chopped bow at third. Well, that's
all change up and the way out in front of it.

(28:21):
Another score it is fifteen. Christopher Sanchez has kept the
dog who's silent up to this point. D oh one,
this is inside and key casts to pull the legs
out of the way so we didn't get hit by
ball one and sche has been Saturday in Philadelphia, as
the doctors did not attempt a stolen base or fifteen

(28:42):
attempts during the regular season, can of those were successful.
One on one on one ball and one strike. Paul
dancing off first base as Sanchez comes home and he
minces downstairs with a sinker, two and one.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
He came.

Speaker 10 (29:02):
Ernendez has been leaving on positive visualization, going back to
his three home run game back in Rigney Field twenty seventeen,
and the visualize another positive result here the two to
one pitch bounced off the clay foul two and two.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Now all three bases first, second, and third are in shadows,
and that shadow.

Speaker 10 (29:27):
Really run for about ten feet past the your first
base bag, all the way out to straightaway left heeld
left fevers and shadows short third ten shadow along with
Parker at first forty one long down even two and
two call on first one out suns his deliveries and

(29:52):
this is down it in ball three.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Sorry he was hers who.

Speaker 10 (30:02):
Sets out of the game of Game one, a two
win double in the sixth hitting he's had to play
in Game four to fifth inning, doctor stadium on its
feet ahead of this three to two pitch.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Line, A short tier dives and makes the catch.

Speaker 10 (30:21):
It was a softly hit, looping line drive deep In
the sixth Lon Turner ranging to his right, a full
extension rab for out number two and another sparkling defense
that played for Philadelphia and on the other one of
these teams is going to go away and just say
well that's enough. You're going to fight to the last
pitch for this series. The way this game is going ball,

(30:48):
you get the feeling that the most unlikely of heroes
will emerge. No score bottom five to two outs in
call on first Andy pot heeads so Wayman's at the
first pitch and he misses unchained strike one. Andy Pa

(31:10):
has one for twenty in this postseason. He on one
grounded to third, gobble up by a ball. He goes
the short wave throwing. The second base stop steps on
the back before a call and that ends the inning.
So Didav's gonna one out single from call, but nothing
else as they strand another runner.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
We are done with five full innings in Game four,
still no score. I'm looking for a unique point of
view on poth sports game analysis.

Speaker 18 (31:41):

Speaker 22 (32:23):
The time.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
When every year get the Dodgers fights starting.

Speaker 10 (32:30):
Something, he gets tripped for the Philly defense, Sunses himself
quickly closed the door. The Dodgers strand another runner in
the fifth. They've left three on base the first five minutes.
There haven't been many pace runners on either side though.
Ball and so now we get ready for six inning
of work from Tyler Glassnow, yeah, I've been you know
this may be coming down to you both pitchers.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
This is some runs. This is this game is going
to be decided with bulk pennies coming in at some
particular point.

Speaker 10 (32:58):
While I was just saying before the ball again, look
we're gonna be watching Glass now very closely depends upon
performance Rodgers.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
You know, they got to change in their bulkbend.

Speaker 10 (33:09):
Right, Rolesky comes on the list as tatter Scott was
taken off and they had the emergency of surge. Rinch
has been a couple of nights ago. So you know
what it comes down to is that neither one of
these book binds has been what you're called spectacular recent times.
Glass now's first pitch of the six it is the

(33:30):
Kyle Schwarber and it is a strike on the insact
corner at ninety six painted right now with that sun
the next couple of minutes, even at first and second base,
they're getting a base full as sunshine as well. It's
Freddie Freeman and Tommy Edward back into the dirt on
the right side of the sun.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
You don't want to shorebird that's in there for strike too.
Back to back heaters.

Speaker 10 (33:49):
The first forward in phillydh one for two today, doubled
at the first that struck out swinging in the third
and a high fastball north of the zone.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
How about a no two pitch.

Speaker 10 (34:03):
Swaying and to miss strike three, drop the hammer down
on Swarber punches them out with the curve.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Maybe the best cook that Glass now has thrilled today
that was.

Speaker 10 (34:14):
That was nose to toads and by the time the
wing was executed, the ball was really in the dirt.
Short hop, back end catch by Will Smith. Seven ks
for glass. Now that is the first one on the
curve ball by Mike Pouf ball. But now we got
Bryce Harper at the play one out nobody on no
score in the sixth inning. First pitch it's for right

(34:39):
one you called off to play away from Harper a
curve from Glass. Noow, when this game's going and it's
got written all over it, maybe the difference in this
game is going to be one swing at the bat.
The one Harper does not swing because it's ball one
downstairs fastball at ninety seven Glass now at seventy.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Four pitches, and as we sit here and now.

Speaker 10 (35:05):
One on one, one Harper swings and grounds it to
the right side Tilder by Freddie Freeman, a couple of
feet inside the line.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
He calls off glassnow and takes it himself to the bell.
Now number two.

Speaker 10 (35:27):
Now the cleed up spot Alec Bohm. Yet he has
been the toughest customer for Glass Now today he has
walked twice, you know he remember.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Last time up he was zero to two. The ole
thing about boom. He's had some huge swings a couple
of times.

Speaker 10 (35:45):
First pitch, high fastball, gets a strike call the very
top of his own bone backed up from him.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
The old one.

Speaker 10 (35:59):
Now that hits the outside going around, or it did not.
I beg your pardon, you know it hit it. It
just wasn't recognized.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Well, it's starting to sound like me a little bit
over there. I kind of like it.

Speaker 10 (36:12):
Bulman's strike on ball notes. This one's hit to center field.
The base hit for Alec Bolm, who has reached all
three times today, put a good swing on that one,
so a two strike single from Bolm.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Continues to six and plays seventeen inches wide on some pitches.

Speaker 10 (36:35):
That is just the second hit of the afternoons in
Philadelphia against glassnow, and the first since Kyle Schwarver's one
out double in the first inning. Now, Brandon Marsh throws
pitch in the dirt, and Smith does a decent job
of keeping it in front of him and keeping his
balm on first base ball one breaking ball in the dirt.

(37:05):
Smith went to his back game and he got a
piece to go up, dribbled out the front of the play.
So now a one to zero from Glass. Now a wait,
he throze it first at boone was leading a little bit,
but he dove back safely head first. You know, there's
three players in sunshine. Second baseman editing right now to
ask her her name is in right man for Andy
pom Henson, center, everybody else in the shadow. Glass now

(37:29):
with his eighty first pitch of the game, it's a
swang and a miss from Marsh.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
To even a cow one. Wan Marsh struck out on
the basketball the first city and grated it to the four.
Sat in the four we did out the bullpen in
activity ended. She starting to loosen two outs.

Speaker 10 (37:58):
Runner on first a one to one piss on it
as gooss is away who spent. He goes to the
door dougout, but he feels it quickly in the gold
remains his first base. Tyler glassdal Mandres is on their

(38:20):
feet here in Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
This is his first postseason starts in Dodger Blues.

Speaker 23 (38:29):
No.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
One two pits the bone, please.

Speaker 10 (38:31):
Shuck it out, holds a little pap ninety seventh.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Glass Stole exits.

The historic picture is done. Six scroll of innings. He

(40:56):
has thrown eighty three Pitchersky the god put him in
line for a wind no score at the bottom of
the sixth here comes the top of the Dodger order.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Yeah, to the top of the order. It needs some.

Speaker 10 (41:10):
Better selection on the pitchers during the record season. To
look at Otonic the first pitcher put into play a
three sixty high well, his first pitch selection so far
in postseason has not been stellar. Rick Lunday, you said,
the way this game is going, it could hinge on
just one swing. Strike one from Sanchez to Oltani has

(41:35):
sinker on the inside corner. Couldn't place it any better
than that at ninety six.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
Do you look after the fall of the year. This
is what postseasons are all about. Boh. He can just
tug at you. It can tear your heart out.

Speaker 10 (41:49):
The only one Moltani foul strike two that would have
been a ball inside off the play.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
He is pulling off of everything.

Speaker 10 (41:57):
That front hip is flying off fine to get to
the part of it, part of the play, because that's
where the Phillies are working hill and they are really
talented lefties have held him down one for sixteen in
this series. Here's an O two pitch and Otani flails

(42:18):
at strike three. That change up on the outside corner.
He's down on three pitches to begin the sixth and
as backside is going towards the first thing, he's drug
out and the top of his body's trying to reach
out towards the third base, got out and hit the ball.
That is the fifth strikedown toward Sanchez. They have Outani

(42:38):
in a blender in this division series, so Mookie Betts
will take his turn. He's zero for two this afternoon.
He's a spectator all the way. A first pitch strike
from Sanchez ninety five at the bes on the outer half,

(42:59):
no score bombs six one out let, nobody off. Here's
the only one pitch Bets. It's for a pace enter
the first path for rookie Pets. His first head of
the ball game is before to the series. The Dodgers
have a runner around and assist Okay Don si Oscar

(43:19):
Hernandez in diligent enough the layoff and early change up
off the plate. It was in the sixth hitting of
Game one that the Dodgers got to Christopher Sanchez. Can
they do it again in Game four? One on one
out Tioscar Hernandez the batter first pitch, swig and a

(43:43):
fout ball and.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
That dribbles toward his own dugout strike one. You know
when as they change up, and it was on a
striketh shomer the last the battle the landas struck out
and the last three pitches were all changeups.

Speaker 10 (44:01):
And then his rest the bat on his back, right
shoulder on all one pitch, sway' gonna miss Strike two,
A sinker down again at ninety seven off the pate
inside the ladder, and do you feel like now he's
setting them up for a change up away the ends
aspatig He's granted it, so you figure they're gonna go

(44:23):
a lot of off feet away. And all you have
to do is look at the outfield position. Big gap
in less center center field is over in the right center.
They're not going to pitch him inside, and if they do,
it's going to be off the plate. We ut for
Tail to use that opposite field stroke. The O two
bets takes off for a second, slung on and bounced
foul on the third base side.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
So the Dodgers trying to manufacture something here in the
sixth inning, you have instead of just going position by position,
you know, from first to second and trying.

Speaker 10 (44:49):
To get something going and maybe get the defense out
of position a little bit more. The inter Saints has
fourteen or ten foot smoving base during the regular season.
Ten of those were safe bets on first, one out
in the six no score for another Rowe two from Sanchez.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
Tail serves it the opposite way. I'll place it on
the right field.

Speaker 10 (45:18):
Rookie Betts goes station in the station, stopping at second,
too long for Freddie Priven and only one out. There's
one of the adjustments I've been talking about with two
strikes that's.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Secret down in a way, Go ahead, go with it.
It counts back to back signals bank to the sixth
The doctors are in business. Here comes to Mount visit
for the philities. It's just the innsfield is.

Speaker 10 (45:47):
Mount visit brought to you by j Kobe and Myers
because everyone deserves justice. I'm just looking at the outerard
as men may in their arms in case they head
a ball hit to them and need to make the thrill.
There's a conference on the amount of all the infielders.
There's no approaching, no managers. There's the players.

Speaker 22 (46:11):
Dodgers today both for one, brothers in smarting position, Phillies
ll for three.

Speaker 10 (46:25):
Freddie Freeman is one for two this afternoon. That one
hit a single leading off the second. He's back to
the dish in the bottom of the sixth with Bets
on the second kayof there her game days off first
one out in a scoreless scheme four. How much longer
will this game be?

Speaker 1 (46:44):
Scoreless?

Speaker 10 (46:47):
Sun says, takes a deep breath, fires home, and Freddy
is sweeping through the sigre on the outer strat.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Corner riders strike one scratch and past the d is
a right field and was shading his eyes with his
glove as the fitch is coming to home plate. The
Sun right now is brutal.

Speaker 10 (47:05):
Two on one out in the six Sanchez looks back
at Bets, focuses on Freddy Freedman swings bouncing ball off
the middle, fielding on the back end by Stodnie flips
a Turner in a good slide from Hernandez impacts turner
at short. The Phillies only get one, so Tao off

(47:31):
the bases ready on him. Bets now at third, but
now two out. Tommy Edmond is zero for two today.
He was roped of a hitch for the second on
a line drive to left, the superman catch from Max Keffer,
and then he grabbed out the second base.

Speaker 1 (47:53):
The Dodgers are one weet away from going back to
the LCS. Right now, they have last year's Ashley.

Speaker 10 (48:00):
Championships years MVP at the play first and third, two out,
first pitch ball one down.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
It in both pans didn't work right now, let the.

Speaker 10 (48:12):
Riding Kirkery and warming through the Phillies sent She's at
seventy four pitches. The one to zero, Edmund bounds it,
hid it out of the dugout and that's a strike.

(48:38):
Bets on third, Treeming on first. The one one to
Edmund popped in the air first base side Harper toward
his own dugout. He reaches out and he can't bring
it in. Missed the glove by a couple of inches,
and he barked at himself in frustration after it bounced
off the Florida Phillip dugout. That gives Tommy Hips his

(49:02):
least one more pitch to see. Can't Temmy Edmund do

(49:23):
it again? On a one to two, Edmund fight set
foul on the third K side. He stays alive.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
Last year, the.

Speaker 10 (49:34):
Postseason, Tommy Edmund had twenty hits. Nine of them came
in two strike counts. He's in a two strike count
here again. Sanchez versed in third two outs of the
sixth on a one two pitch. Sanchez, this is down,
it is and the count squares up. Edmund is a

(49:56):
good look about him in the right handed batter's box,
looks calm let's poise waiting for his pitch. Does he
get it? On this two two from subchets bounce fallic
in on the third bay side, Edmund fighting most of

(50:30):
the fifty thousand plus ear at Dowgers Stadium on their feet, waiting,
hoping and wishing for a run.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Two on.

Speaker 10 (50:40):
Throughout the two to two Edmund bounces it back towards
the Mount Sumpsis fields, his position turns and throws the
first it's a strike to Harper to end the inning.
So the Dodgers have first and second, one out in
the sixth and they can't get anybody home. Six full
innings complete, Game four were still without a run.

Speaker 8 (51:03):
Reparations has been here and have been working on for generations.

Speaker 24 (51:07):
From the very beginning, people were knocking on the door saying,
we are old for our labor.

Speaker 8 (51:15):
Callie House, she was born a slave.

Speaker 25 (51:17):
She went out all around in the community telling black
people that they ought to ask the government to get
somebody because they.

Speaker 8 (51:25):
Were pulled and they were desperate.

Speaker 25 (51:27):
By nineteen hundred, she had three hundred thousand news paying members.
It was the largest organization of black folk that had existed.
Pretty soon, her activities came to the attention of the
government and they convicted her a fraud. The federal charge

(51:48):
was that at a time when you should have known
that the federal government would have never given degros anything,
while were you telling degros they should organize to try
to get something. They sent her to prison to serve
one year term. She got out of prison, she went
back to Danshville to this shotgun house.

Speaker 8 (52:10):
She got gilding the cancer, and she died. You can
draw a.

Speaker 25 (52:17):
Direct line from Kelly House to the reparations movement.

Speaker 26 (52:21):
Today, I leans on the Misha ship. Beery Black leaves
in the Visa ship.

Speaker 10 (52:40):
Be Freddy Freeman on first. The one two pitch she
kept her folks had over that foul to our left,
still bawling. Two strikes on Kepitlary. The number sn't hit her.

(53:06):
She takes a peek, hitting here mute, and then fires home.

Speaker 1 (53:11):
This is up and away.

Speaker 10 (53:19):
She and pitched in Game two in Philadelphia two innings,
gave up one run, two hits in a strikeout through
twenty seven pitches, twenty one strikes.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
Yeh first steps out is asking for time. It's given
to him. All parties ready to go for this two
to two pitch. It's on the way ground ball of first,

(53:53):
Freddie Freeman has it goes to bets for once. She
ain't covered.

Speaker 10 (53:56):
The guy got the throw skiff by him and into
the Philly Duggan out. So you got to catch the ball. No,
you want the app but you have to catch the
ball first. And so instead of a three six to
one double play, it's just an out. And now Kepler's
in the scoring position. With one out, you had a
low throw coming from Ben's freeman coming hit to BET's

(54:21):
that's a sidearm throw.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
He just wiped it. He just wos it out of
a low throw. It's a perfect throw, but it's just.

Speaker 10 (54:28):
Playing off the glove of She and he absolutely whipped it,
just hit the tip of the glove and did his
score fielder's choice E one And I like what Keith
j Hernandez just did. As soon as the play was over,
Hernandez was already walking in tore the mount from third
to try and settle down a young pitcher, and Vichi

(54:48):
and Hall will spit in joint them. But that is
better at leadership and out there in the hard to
break up that moment. Just to back off, Hey, let's refocus.
You're working at the bottom of the order, not that
they're you know, Patsy's going to be an easy out.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
That Castianos is the batter Capro on second, one out
to seventh.

Speaker 10 (55:13):
No score, first pitch, check swing appeal, no swing is
Jim Wulf at first base.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
So each team has an air in this one Ken
She and work around his the one to oh.

Speaker 10 (55:36):
Castianos swings and his jam fallon went over to the
right side strike one. Now, the reason why you want
to note the Dodger air this year, both when they
committed air they were twenty six and twenty eight. They
were sixteen to twenty when they allowed an unearned run
to score. Which is something to watch is the seventh

(55:57):
inning unfolds the one to one Casianos you through strike
to a good slider from Shed on the outside corner.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
She had looks back at Kepler. The runner on the
second comes home.

Speaker 10 (56:20):
Casianos hits it hard down the left field line. This
will score Kepler. Casianos going for second to throw the
tag a swim move and Castillanos is safe. An RBI
double with the Philly outfielder breaks the scoreless tie in
Game four after very poshy air it may not have

(56:43):
been a double play ball, but boy in the air
and not hatching a ball that was a found up
being a good throw and it goes into the dugout
runner advanced to second, mass scores.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
That is what good teams do, right ball.

Speaker 10 (57:01):
I mean, if you give them daylight, you give them
an opportunity, an extra base, they make it better.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
Yeah, you cannot give good teams an open door. Still
only one out, by the way, is she and missus upstairs?
Ball one to Brice and stop.

Speaker 10 (57:17):
There is nobody yet throwing in the Dodger bullpen, as
she is now at fifteen pitches.

Speaker 1 (57:30):
The pitch.

Speaker 10 (57:31):
So you ain't gonna miss strike one, you asked earlier,
who is going to blink first? The Dodgers blink first
one nothing Philadelphia one on one out one ball went

(57:52):
Stripe She and misses inside two on one for Stock
and immediately after Glass now removed from the game, the
Phillies score their first run. They got two hits total
in six intings and Glass and now they have two
hits to start the seventh to get shield. So we

(58:13):
ain't gonna miss two to two. Now Stott went chasing
below his own.

Speaker 1 (58:17):
And so they bob left it because the three for
the Dodgers in.

Speaker 10 (58:20):
The book him, so you know who he's getting ready
for Trake Turners on deck and then Sworeburne Harper Castianos
on the second one out on a two two Stott

(58:45):
and watch the ball three in the door, well picked
by will Smith. You know it's interesting that air on
she and earlier watching pfps. The Dodgers do that occasionally
during the regular season, and it's always an adventure to

(59:07):
watch the payoff pitch to stop its going on and
fell back to our left, and what looked to be
a year textbook re six one double play has turned
into a want nothing in Phillies lead.

Speaker 1 (59:31):
Pitch number twenty one of the seventh inning from Shine
another three to two, another.

Speaker 10 (59:36):
Foul ball and they can't put him away. This is
the number nine hitter in the lineup. Yeah, that's a
discredit price sto another payoff pitch from she in the

(01:00:04):
stock Castiano's on second and one out flight in the
air left center field. Pie has plenty of room in
front of the wall, makes the caps still cut off
at short black bets.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
Casianos holds in the second base that is out of
the per two. Why wasn't Cascianos tagging yet?

Speaker 24 (01:00:23):
Reparations has been here and have been working on for generations.
From the very beginning, people were knocking on the door
saying we are owed for our labor.

Speaker 8 (01:00:35):
Callie House, she was born a slave.

Speaker 25 (01:00:38):
She went out all around the community to other black
people that they ought, asked the government to get somebody
because they were pulled and they were desperate by the
nineteen hundred, she had three hundred thousand news paying members.

Speaker 8 (01:00:53):
It was the largest organization of black folk that had existed.

Speaker 25 (01:00:59):
Soon, her activities came to the attention of the government
and they convicted her a fraud.

Speaker 8 (01:01:07):
The federal charge was that at a time when you
should have known that the federal government would have.

Speaker 25 (01:01:13):
