Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello everyone, and welcome back to Bizarre Podcast. I'm here
today just to give you a bit of an explanation
as to why the podcast has been a little bit
up and down recently. You may have noticed just before
Christmas that I quit more or less the podcast and
I changed it into Pop Culture Pedestal. Now, the reason
I did this was because at the time I felt
(00:21):
like I had no enthusiasm to create content for Bizarre Podcasts.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
And that was true at the time to some extent.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
But the real reason I quit, and I came to
realize this later on, was because I didn't have any
enthusiasm for anything because I was in a funny place.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
In my life. I was feeling a little bit down,
you could say.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
I'd fallen into some kind of depression, maybe nothing major,
just you know every day things that people go through
now and again, and I'd lost enthusiasm for everything. But
at the time, I was kind of focused on the
podcast and I was thinking about creating content for it,
and I just didn't have the husiasm to do it.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
So I just kind of come to the conclusion that.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
I needed to stop because I've always prided myself in
creating good content and if I didn't have that enthusiasm,
then I didn't see the point in carrying on, so
I kind of wrongfully blamed the podcast. The feelings I
were feeling kind of bled into the podcast and in
everything else. But as the months went on, I realized
that I was really missing it, and I was getting
some really nice comments on my feed from people who
(01:28):
weren't liking the content I was posting. Obviously, because I
I made a silly decision to just start posting pop
culture and movie reviews on a on a show that
is already established for people who want to hear stories
about true crime, ghosts, bizarre stories, mysteries, and dark history.
(01:51):
So it's it comes to no surprise that they didn't
really like the content I was churning out, and everyone
was telling me, when are you going to come back
to bizarre podcasts?
Speaker 2 (01:58):
When are you going to start that up again?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I preferred your other content, and as time went by,
I started to feel the same way. It took a while,
but I started to feel the same way, and I
regretted what I did, so I'm back now. A couple
of weeks ago, I released Albert Fish like a mega
big episode. I previously released it in two separate parts,
but I put them two parts together and released it
(02:20):
as a big episode just to tell you guys that
look because our podcast is back now. This is the
official explanation as to why I'm back. I made a mistake,
and I really, really I'm looking forward to creating more
content now because whatever issues I had with myself are
now sorted and I'm back and I'm clear headed and
(02:44):
I'm ready to go. The next episode is going to
be on the Black Dahlia. I absolutely had a blast
research in this. It's written, I'm ready to go. Let's
get into it again. Watch this space, guys. The next
episode will be on the Black Dahlia, so you soon
take her and look after yourselves.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Bye bye,
