Speaker 1 (00:01):
On May twenty third, two thousand and seven. It'll be
eight years. I started this podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
As a side project.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
From a show I created at bus TV called uh
The Bold Breakdown.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
That's all gone now.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
We did a ball before many spotlights of course every
Sunday Live, and we'll be doing it on the anversary
of the actual show. March twenty third, nineteen eighty seven,
The Bold and the Beautiful debuted. It was my left
for me. It was my last two months of high school.

(00:47):
Three months April made June three months of high school.
I graduated high school from Ingland High School June nineteen
eighty seven. I turned eighteen in May nineteen eighty seven.
I left Los Angeles September of my t eighty seven.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
The Bowl of Beautiful was.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
For the first couple of years was off and on
for me to watch.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
But then I got hooked.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And I have to say, in the early you know
A nine, nine ninety one, the whole Sheila relocated in California,
and then Sheila and Laurence stuff and is Sheila and
Brook and Shela and Eric.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I was hooked. Ever since.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
The show is celebrating thirty eight years off the air.
That means I graduated high school thirty eight years. I've
almost been in high school forty years. I feel so
young still, like this is not fair, this happened.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Time is fun. The longer und an adult.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
It's crazy, right, all of it is that crazy is
a lot like I've been an adult forty years. It's
crazy almost forty years today. It's amazing. Shout out to
the whole production. The producers writes this show history whatever
it wants, whatever it wants. But I'll tell you the actors,

(02:27):
they work their butts.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Off and friends with many of them. They work their
butts off, they work out the outrageousness. They just they
do their job.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Congratulations to Jack mckinnis wood who's pregnant their fifth child,
five children, girlfriend and she always just good after her times.
She has a baby. Ohs is good. So a parenthood
agrees with her. Motherhood, pregnancy all agrees with her. Katherine
Kelly Lang John Cook are the two surviving longest running

(03:07):
from day one actors and characters on the show. Kudos
to them and surviving all the ups and downs and
all arounds. They've recast major roles and have survived. They've
survived some sad depths in real life that affected the show.

(03:32):
It survived, uh retirements from some of the biggest characters.
It's this this show, it's it's this show.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Is I have? So here's the deal. I have.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
So many criticisms of the show has made Bomeo fans.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
We're fans. We can't help ourselves, I think.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
But if the show sometimes is so implausible and outrageous,
and there's times when the show itself leads into it
very smartly, but remain this show we have. We fuss
and holler and scream, but the numbers don't lie. We

(04:21):
tune in and I do, and I tune in. It
is the first time I watch.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Now.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Right now, I'm watching that first Denjiener Hospital dead doing
arrest us. That's the order. I can't just see what
happens next. The show just does whatever the effort wants.
And I admire that. I have no idea, I really
I admire it. You're committing to doing whatever you and

(04:49):
this kind of show and do it five days a week.
I'm still wait for my walking on roll that I
was promised. I've never gotten.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
You're in a background roll I take, and I have
gotten in.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
I don't get to have as many of the guests
of the actors on like I want.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
I would love to have them on more. This is
not happening that way.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I on some level, I'm treated less than other news outlets.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Don't understand what that done. I can't anything about that.
I've tried.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I've fought the law and the law one so he says.
They say I've tried. I've tried. I've tried.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
So I still give you what I can.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
And when I forget the occasionally interview, it's I guess,
just amazing you guys listen, you tune in. You're so
loyal to us with both shows. I'm noticing on the
other show, the Bubbies from Me Spotlight, our live audience
is up, like we're getting numbers we never got before live.

(06:00):
The means you want to spend your Sunday morning early
afternoons with us.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I'll take it.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
That's why I keep going, because you give me the numbers,
which tells me you want us to continue with your
good You guess want us Grood thats or not as
a manner, but I feel like you like my products,
you listen to it, you show up. I need to
continue to show up for you. So I'm celebrating, Thank

(06:31):
you very much thirty eight years of The Bold and
Beautiful and in turn thinking even Bachelor. All of all
the people who are over at Bold and Beautiful, who
have supported the show over the years, who have allowed
me them to have their talent.

so much for all your support.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
But really it's just you, the listeners, the watchers, the

I wish everybody in the best of luck. This show
has a lot of life still in it doesn't need
to go anywhere yet. There's a lot of life still
left in it, and I hope to still be around
to watch it.

Speaker 2 (07:40):

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
