description down below. Go checking out in the basement, then

barista bringing me the Nitro cold brew and the espresso
shots and all those things. Kudos to you, and we're back.
Game Day is back, baby, Yes.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
So let's bleep and go.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
Matt.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
It's gonna be great having it throughout the entire season
and getting your insider perspective on game days, and there's
so much to get to here on the channel, but
we had first have to give a tip of the cap,
of course to the fans here on game day that
make all of this possible. My fellow Jets fans in
the audience, and several Boy Green Coffee Club memberships are
being given. That's the only way to kick off game
(02:53):
day minute. Thank you to mother effing Chew here for
a minute membership in number one, honestreat and Jets fan
wants it. On the action. These two new members of
the Boy Green Coffee Club are b Ship twenty three
that was from MFC and also Tasso's Manali's You also
(03:15):
were just gifted the Boy Green Coffee Club membership here
on the program. And it wouldn't be a morning without
a little bit of family involved. So ny jetsfl sends
in a member super Jet shut out. So we must
hear from my daughter wh LFG finally a new era
of Jets football. He's been a member for ten months. Ted,
thank you so much for your contributions and yes it
(03:37):
is exciting. Let's talk about that right off the top
of your Matt. This is a new era of Jets football.
People are uncertain what expectations should be for a first
year head coach, Justin Field's third team in three years,
and of course we face the ex girlfriend, the NFL's
longest running soap opera, has one of the premier storylines
(03:59):
that would be coming at one o'clock at Metlif Stadium.
What should expectations be?
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Let's start there, man, Yeah, Paul, I think this is
the dawn of the new era for the New York
Jets and Aaron Glenn. And it's a tone setting opportunity
for Aaron Glenn against a quarterback like Aaron Rodgers in
a building in Medlife Stadium where the welcome is probably
not going to be too cordial from Jets fans towards
Aaron Rodgers. And that's something that the defense can kind
(04:24):
of feed off to going into this game. I'm excited
to see this new look Jets defense, how similar it
looks to what they did in Detroit. I'm excited to
see Justin fields in an opportunity where he does have
a lot of weapons around him in an offense that's
built to run the football, which is his strength as
a mobile quarterback. Probably mobile first. It's a really interesting
(04:46):
test against a really dominant and swarming Steelers defense. I
think there's some opportunities here for the Jets defense to
impose it's well on Aaron Rodgers and company, and I
think that that's where Jets fans should feel most optimistic.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Great, let's get your thoughts on that one little nugget
you just said that. I don't even know if you
knew that you were going to start this part of
the conversation. But here locally in the radio area of
New York, New Jersey, the theme of whether to boo
Aaron Rodgers or to not boo Aaron Rodgers has come
up with a certain unpopular radio hosts saying you absolutely
(05:20):
cannot boo Aaron Rodgers because of everything he's done in
things of that nature. Now, I don't want to paint
your opinion here or tage what you're about to say,
but absolutely, if I was there, I'd be booing vociferously
at Aaron Rodgers. If you're on my team, I will
defend you until I'm dead. I'm just a loyal guy.
But if you're on the other side, screw you, buddy.
I don't care how it happened. You're the enemy. Screw you.
(05:43):
But where do you stand matt On booing from fans,
especially a guy like Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
All that Aaron Rodgers did. What exactly did Aaron Rodgers do?
In New York? He was heralded as the quarterback who
was supposed to usher in Super Bowl aspirations. He was
the quote quote missing piece according to former general manager
Joe Douglas. And you look at what happened last year.
We can talk about the thirty eight hundred yards, those
were really hollow numbers when you look at the amount
(06:10):
of production that came late in games and games that
were already over. The Jets were throwing their way out
of holes through Robert Sally completely out of the airplane
literally and on transatlantic flight coming back from London, imported
the Randall Cobbs of the world, and imported the former
Packers players that he was comfortable with. You brought in
(06:33):
an offensive coordinator who was really supposed to be the
play caller that brought out the best at Aaron Rodgers
in that system, and it just didn't work. It didn't work,
And the injury is one thing, but that was a
three ring circus for the entire season last year. I
don't know how you don't boo Aaron Rodgers. If you're
a self respecting Jets fan going to that game today.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Would you the only way to pay? Baby? Come on, now,
what the hell did he even do? Anyway, let's go
to another membership being rained from the high heavens. Maybe
let's go to any Green. Thank you, NC Green. That
membership went to Bronx Jet Fan, Welcome to the Army,
and another raffle ticket for our guy NC Green here,
(07:15):
and speaking of raining from the high heavens, it's time
to go to Ali Williams with our weather aboard Ali,
it's gonna rain apparently, but according to weather dot com
there in East Ruther for New Jersey, it is raining now.
It's supposed to rain over the next couple of hours.
But as you will see, as I'm playing weatherman here,
didn't have that on the big O card. But okay,
we're over here in the right side of your screen. Okay,
(07:38):
I see a dip in the rain and it looks
like it should be at its conclusion by eleven forty five,
which is perfect timing apparently, because the Jets kick off
at one o'clock. So Matt I heard from a couple
of NFL and so he's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano.
They put out there like everything they've heard about every
team in the league, piece on a week to week basis,
(07:59):
and the breaking news from Dan Graziano just in. I
don't know if you guys heard this, so I'll share
it with you right now because that's the kind of
guy I am. Dan Graziano's analysis is the Jets are
going to run the ball a lot. Thanks, Dan, appreciate that.
So I would imagine a lot of rain coming before
(08:20):
the game that that's not going to change the Jets
game plan of running the football mat No.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
If anything, it's just a shame it's going to rain
on the tailgating in the met Life Stadium parking lot.
It just rains on the party a little bit before
you get in for kickoff. I think the Jets are
built to run the football first and foremost. You talk
about the two running backs and Breste Hall and breanln Out,
I think they're both going to see significant workloads right
out at Jump Street in Week one. You have a
quarterback in Justin Fields who loves to run the ball
(08:47):
most effective when he's out of the pocket. But this
Elijah Vera Tucker injury kind of throws a monkey wrench
into the whole thing, especially coming late into the week
where you didn't really have a lot of time to react,
to make a big claim or make a trade or
any of those things. The best way to mask that
kind of an injury, Paul, is to run the football.
It's to ram it down the front seven's throats. It's
(09:10):
to give your offensive line the opportunity to get downhill
to run block. Offensive lines love when you run the football.
And if you're in the Jets, you have to feel
okay about Joe Tipman stepping in. He had a seventy
seven point three run blocking grade from Pro Football Focus
last season, which was eighth best at the position. So,
if you're looking to play ball control, if you're looking
(09:32):
to try to dictate to the Steelers defense to kind
of put that front seven on its heels a little
bit so they can't blitz as often and pin their
ears back and get after justin fields. Running the football
is really, to me the most vital aspect of that
game plan today.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I think you're right, and you just mentioned it there.
What a devastating loss before the season. We've talked about
it throughout the week, but still obviously this will be
the first time that we see it coming to play.
When seventy five on your screen does not come running
out onto the field to be the starting right guard
for the New York Jets. He was heading into a
contract year. He was voted a team captain, one of
the six captains on the New York Jets. Apparently his
(10:10):
veteran leadership, even only being in year five, was a
big boost to seventh overall pick Arbond Membu, who was
supposed to be lining up right next to him, and
he seemed to have a really good impact on the
offensive line, now out for the season with a torn triceps.
So to your point, the Jets have not officially announced
what they plan on doing with the offensive line reshuffling,
(10:30):
but it seems most likely that Joe Tipman kicks from
centert to guard, Josh Myers comes in there at center,
and we'll see Matt. We talked with you, I think
there was on the Manshot show Boygrey Digital Channel after
the injury happened that for now they sort of have
to operate with what they have, but more moves could
be coming. Rich Samani said on the flight Deck podcast
he predicts, actually Darren Muchie is going to try to
(10:52):
strike a trade for a guard. Maybe easier said than done.
I don't know who's going to be flipping guards that
are capable left and right, but at least that seems
to be the Jets intent coming up here of the
next couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Yeah, I think it all depends on what the asking
price is, right. I mean, if you can get a competent,
veteran backup guard who's on a roster somewhere for a
fifth or sixth round pick, you make that deal, you know,
seven days a week. But about I don't know the
Jets are in a position to be paying a premium,
you know, day three, round three or higher pick to
bring in a guard when you're still very much in
(11:25):
the building process. So it's going to be fascinating to see.
I think, if nothing else, you're going to see a
lot of veteran guard free agent workouts. On Tuesday. You're
going to see a lot of guys coming into the
building to work out. May maybe you sign somebody out
of that group. Maybe you go and you pluck somebody
off of a practice squad, somewhere, but it's a hole
they're going to have to fill. But today it's just
about Pattinson duct tape on that offensive line. In my opinion,
(11:48):
grounding and pounding and seeing if you can get through it.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
One hundred percent. I think that's got to be to
play for the New York Jets today as it pertains
to that. As far as the offensive line, you just
sort of have to figure it out and we'll go
from there. Again, the Jets are quite fortunate, as I
wrote about earlier this week for Heavy on Jets that
they're just quite fortunate that they had a Josh Myers
has fifty six games of starting experience ready to go
(12:11):
coming off there off the bench. Now I can't find
the comment anymore, so I apologize fl Field ninet yet,
but he asked about is the field covered? Is there
a draining system? The Jets do have a full draining
system at MetLife Stadium, so that should be able to
sap up any of the additional water that's being poured
onto that field. To hear over the coming hours. I
don't believe the field's tarp, but if anyone knows, obviously
(12:32):
I'm not there, so you could keep me posted on
that I don't believe they're tarp in the field. I
believe they're gonna let the draining system do its wonders.
We'll see on that. Another big storyline here, Matt, and
we were watching this all week was Cam Hayward. Was
he gonna play? Was he not gonna play? He gave
very cryptic comments on his podcast that maybe he wouldn't play.
(12:53):
Then he was practicing. We're like, all right, never mind,
and then he says that is presser. I'm not going
to commit to playing on Sunday. I'm like, is it?
This is it? This is this? Well, we got the
breaking news last night from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter,
and it's good news for the steel.
Speaker 6 (13:10):
Hayward.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
He gets a three million dollars incentive converted into real money.
I think that this is a big upgrade for the
Steelers to get a guy like Cam Hayward back. The
Steelers operate from a standpoint that they don't negotiate contracts
during the season, so today was really you can call
it an artificial deadline, but but it was the deadline
to get Cam Hayward back on the field. It sounds
(13:33):
like if he was preparing to play, and now that
the paycheck is a little bit bigger, odds are he's
going to be on the field. Not great news for
the Jets because Cam Hayward is an elite talent, a
real disruptive force along that defensive line. But but again,
they got the deal worked out, they got it into
the eleventh hour deadline spur action and Cam Hayward back
(13:53):
on the field. And and again, not a great spot
for a Jets offensive line that's going to have to
figure it out against a seven that includes Cam Hayward
and TJ. Watt and all kinds of talent upfront.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Yeah, Cam Hayward, while thirty six are like, oh okay,
just some all banned. Well, last season he was a
first team All Pro eight sacks, twenty quarterback hits, eleven
pass deflections. He was incredibly disruptive both in the run
game and in the pass game, which we'll talk about
in a second now. According to Adam Schefter, just to
throw this up that and he added this to the
report from last night. If this deal did not happen
(14:26):
last night, Schefter said there was a quote real question
about whether Cam Hayward would have played. So again, to
your point, Matt, about the history of Steelers and not
negotiating contract during the season, that could have gotten very
ugly for Jet fans. Of course, the only thing that
would have mattered to them is Week one, But it
looked like he may not have played, may not have
decided to play, which could have had a huge impact.
(14:46):
Now it looks like again he's going to suit up, so.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Yep, for sure. And I was in Latrobe the day
that Cam Hayward announced that he was holding in and
I spoke to a couple of agents who represent top
flight defensive linemen across the league, and the one said
that he is a Ring of Honor caliber talent, and
you mentioned the production. He's an All Pro caliber player
even at this age. The age almost doesn't matter. You
have to pay him. You have to make him hold happy.
(15:10):
He's too important for your defense not to have him
out there. He'll be out there today, and Cam Hayward's
the type of player that you take care of him.
He's gonna go out and ball out. So it's gonna
be interesting to see how this plays out for him
in Week one and beyond. Now that this contract dispute
is kind of in the rearview mirror.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
That's for sure. Now I'll give you a not that
you need many stands, Cam Hayward. Cam Hayward is good. Yes,
thank you, Paul. But no, we do have this stat
from a voice of the Pittsburgh's Dowers, Rob King, who
we did an interview with a bunch of months ago.
Shout out to Rob and congratulations. He's on his second
year on the job, replacing a legend there in terms
of the Steelers announcing and being the voice of the team.
(15:48):
He revealed this stat from last year when Cam Hayward
was on the field for the Steelers, they were the
second best team in the NFL in yardsbrough carry when
he was in there thirty first. That is needle moving. Now,
I will tell you this. It looks like because of
all the hoopla of this offseason, Cam Heyward is not
expected to play the full complimented naps, but he is
going to be out there. So take that for what
you will. As we're going through this process, And how
(16:10):
did we get sixteen minutes into this live show, Matt
without talking about Aaron bleeping' Rogers outside of booing him,
of course, But Aaron Bleepin' Rodgers. And I'm curious because,
you know, we talk about Aaron Rodgers here and you
gave us your observations a couple of weeks ago on
what you saw during the practice you were at for
(16:31):
the Pittsburgh Steelers at training camp, and Diana Russini came
out yesterday and basically gave a warnington Jet fans, Hey
watch out. Aaron Rodgers looks phenomenal. He looks refreshed, he
looks rejuvenated, and looks the best that he ever has. Though,
oh boy, the Jets could have regret, is what Diana
Russini said about this this thing. If Aaron Rodgers comes
in and lights it up at Mettlive Stadium, what's the
(16:53):
truth here? Because that seems a little you know, I
love Diana, but that seems a little souped up. If
I'm going to be honest for the forty one year
old quarterback. A lot of hoop blog going on there.
What's the truth here? What kind of Aaron Rodgers are
the Jets going to see at MetLife Stadium today?
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Yeah? I can just go off of what I saw
in that one practice at Latrobe, but it's the smallest
of small sample sizes. So let's just put that caveat
out there. But I didn't see a guy who's any
more mobile than he has been. If anything, I thought
he was maybe half a step slower from a mobility standpoint.
And the Stalers we're having him do a lot of
like rollout drills and extend the place scramble drills, and
(17:27):
it just seemed that the ball took forever to get
out of his hands in ways that if it were
in a game situation, I'm not sure that those plays
wouldn't have ended up as sacks. But let's just take
Diana Rossini for what she's hearing that this is a
rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers, that in my opinion, all the ayahuasca
retreats have worked, and he's, you know, a twenty eight
(17:47):
year old MVP caliber quarterback. Again, that's all well and good.
You have DK Metcalf and he's elite, and I think
that Metcalf is a legit difference maker. And that's what
would worry the Jets the most is the Roger Metcalf
connection today. In my opinion, if you're looking at the
Steelers offense, but even if Aaron Rodgers is vinta Jaron Rodgers.
You're talking about Scotty Miller stepping up, Calvin Austin junior,
(18:12):
you know, living up to becoming a number two wide receiver.
In terms of production, it's a really flimsy offensive line.
I think it's a worse offensive line than what he
played behind the last two last year and four snaps
with the New York Jets. So even if Aaron Rodgers rejuvenated,
I just don't know that the supporting cast is enough
(18:33):
to make a difference. Is where I go back to
Pittsburgh going out and signing Aaron Rodgers in the first place.
They weren't in Aaron Rodgers away from contending for a
Super Bowl this year. There are just too many question
marks on that offense, and the defense is elite. It's
going to keep them in a lot of games, and
I guess they're thinking that they can win a lot
of twenty three to twenty type of games or seventeen
to thirteen type of games. It just seems to me
(18:55):
that Aaron Rodgers is not the player that he was,
and if he is, that they have enough round and
to make it matter on offense.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
There you go again. We stigure with our NFL Insider extraordinator,
Matt Lombardo baby here on the program between the hash marks.
Make sure you guys check it out again. There is
a direct link in the YouTube description down below. You
can click that and explore between the hash marks. And
congratulations to many of our winners. Right before the season.
We did that the last time we had Matt on
(19:22):
giving you guys a sneak peek at between the hashmarks
to get a taste, to get a walking around money,
get to walk around a little and enjoy it. And
you know, I hope you guys did enjoy it. By
the way, speaking of enjoying it, here you go. Here
is the QR code on your screen. You can scan
that puppy. If you don't like clicking lengths, you want
to take pictures instead, God least, go ahead, go ahead
(19:43):
and do it and enjoy that wonderful splendor between the
hash marks. And there is a really cool return here, Matt,
which is terrific and it is none other than the
Florida State product, which I know Ricky New York Livers
in our comments section's gonna enjoy the return of Jermaine Johnson.
Let's rip a jet chin as Rich Semini shared this morning.
(20:12):
It has been three hundred and fifty eight days, nearly
a full calendar year, since Jermaine Johnson was last on
the football field for the New York Jets in a
regular season game. He blew out his achilles in the
Week two Tennessee Titans game. In After three hundred and
fifty eight long days, he will return to the lineup
for the New York Jets against the Pittsburgh Steelers. And
speaking of achilles, Aaron Rodgers knows all about that. I
(20:35):
go to you here, Matt again, we're talking about this
word expectations. On one hand, I'm like, well, we gotta
be careful here. He's coming off an achilles. Let's not
set expectations too high. And then you see how he
looks in practice, and trader get be like, whoa, this
Ferrari is ready to roar immediately. What's the truth here?
What should we expect from Germain who's obviously a very
(20:55):
talented player but coming off a very serious injury.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah, I think that the further get away from the injury.
In other words, as the season goes along, you're gonna
see more from Jermaine Johnson. And if he was tearing
it up in practice. I think that's a great starting point.
That's a great baseline for a guy who was playing
some really elite football before he got hurt. In twenty
twenty three, seven and a half Sacks took up residence
in the backfield, playlug. He was shot out of a cannon.
(21:20):
You look at him and Will McDonald, they're going to
be a really dynamic duo in terms of rushing the passer.
You're gonna get a good look at at today because
again I'm not sold on the Steelers offensive line being
anything to really write home about. Good opportunity for him
to kick the door in on this year, start his rehab,
start his rehab season, so to speak, and I think
that as the year goes along, I think you're going
(21:42):
to see him just build and build and build into
the kind of player the Jets had in twenty twenty three,
and believe that he can become well into his career.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Salute to Jermaine Johnson. Double J in the morning is
back baby for the NYJ. Very happy for Jamaine. And
by the way, congratch to Jermaine Johnson and his beautiful
fiance because they just announced that Jermaine will be a
boy dad. They're having a beautiful baby boy that will
be coming in the near future. I saw them do
their gender revealed party recently, so a big congratulations to
(22:13):
Jermaine Johnson. That is absolutely phenomenal news saw that on Instagram.
Shout out to the Jermaine Johnson clan. Beautiful news there, Matt,
because I was talking to you about this off air,
and I think it's definitely worth bringing on air, and
it's this. You are an NFL insider extraordinaire and I
have to ask you as as you prepare yourself for
(22:34):
this game day. And obviously you're here talking Jets stealers
on this show, as you'll be talking Jets each and
every week, but you'll be watching the Jets, certainly for
all the reasons we all will be. But on top
of that, you've got other NFL insider responsibilities. What is
it like being Matt Lombardo on game day, taking in
well an NFL game day like you will be today.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Yeah, it is action packed. From one o'clock in the
afternoon until about one o'clock in the morning on Monday.
You have the three TVs going. I try to key
in on at least two each window. The third TV
is NFL Red Zone, so you can kind of keep
an eye on what's happening around the league, who's popping off.
You get the stats in front of you, and it's
all done both to you know, gain the knowledge of
(23:17):
what's happening for out the day, but primarily to write
the four Downs column, which is the omnibus big picture
takeaways from the NFL Sunday writing as we go. You know,
the storylines developed games you think you're going to play out.
You might have your story three quarters written. No, it's
a it's a comeback drive in a game winning field
goal the other way, So you got to scrap it
and start over. A lot of reaching out to sources
(23:39):
to get their thoughts on what they're seeing and and
their insight on the big plays and big moments. It's
a lot of fun. It moves fast, and I'm really
excited about the column that comes out on Monday. Well
we're able to put put into it each week, all.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Right, So tell us this, Matt. You know, obviously Jet
Steelers is a game will be fascinating and I think,
if I'm being objective, take a step back. I think
a lot of people are going to be interested in
Jets Dealers for all the reasons that we've talked about.
But what other games do you have circled today that
you'll be keying in on here in week one?
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Yeah, I think in the one o'clock window it's going
to be Giants and Commanders, right. I think that Jaden
Daniels is primed to take a pretty big step forward.
I think that they've done a really nice job of
building around him. The Giants fascinate me with that front
seven and all of the pressure that's on Brian Dable
his job moving forward. Russell Wilson leak neighbors in that connection.
But this is really all about the four o'clock window
(24:33):
and onward, right, because you have Lions Packers, which is
going to be a marquee game Micaeh Parsons first game
as a Packer. You have the Lions looking to put
all the injuries from a year ago behind them. What
do they do moving on from Aaron Glenn and Ben
Johnson and tonight the nightcap Ravens Bills. The column is
going to be built around Ravens Bills. It's a potential
(24:55):
AFC Championship game preview, It's the game everyone's going to
be talking about, but a sleeper game. It could be
a lot of fun. In the four o'clock window. Titans
Broncos caam Ward, number one overall pick, makes his NFL
debut in hostile territory against arguably the premier defense in
the league, one of the top secondaries in the NFL.
(25:16):
Bo Nicks potentially taking a big step forward opportunity there
in the AFC West after what happened in sam Pou,
Brazil on Friday night with the Chiefs going down sneaky
game to keep an eye on. Spoke to Chris Sanders
on the podcast former Titans wide receiver This Pack week
past week about cam Ward might be able to weave in, said,
cam Ward insights if he goes off in his NFL debut.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Fascinating. That's that game. I had one of the toughest
times with That's the largest spread of the week. And
you know Denver defense is really good and it's in Denver,
but Tennessee has a first overall pick quarterback. You never
know how rookie quarterback is going to go. So I
went back and forth on that game throughout. You guys
could check out our NFL picks against the spreaders on
the Manchot Show of Boy Green Digital YouTube show. You
(26:00):
guys can check that out for all of our picks.
Matt is of course a part of that panel making
all those picks, which is going to be a lot
of fun. So I'm looking forward to all of that. Well, Matt,
I just want to thank you for another weekly stop
here getting this ready for Jets dealers and everything else
that there is. Please, if there's any of course, we'll
promote between the hashmarks again one more time. But if
(26:20):
there's anything else you want to get off your chest
before this contest, please feel free.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
It's Aaron Rodgers show, and slowing Aaron Rodgers for the
Jets is the biggest key to victory and I looked
it up before we went on the air. Really interesting
when you talk about how to limit Aaron Rodgers and
you talk about what Aaron Glenn does. They're so aggressive
in Detroit in terms of getting after the quarterback, but
they don't always blitz and Pro Football Focus had a
great stat Aaron Glenn's Lions had a non blitzed pressure
(26:50):
rate of thirty five point two last season. That means
that they generated for aging pressure on the quarterback back
without blitzing on thirty five point two percent of snaps.
That's one of the highest in the NFL. I believe
it's third highest in the league. So to me, you'll
get Quentin Williams, They'll get Harrison Phillips. They're gonna be
key if they can get interior pressure up the middle
on Aaron Rodgers. It has a trickle on effect on
(27:11):
the entire rest of that defense. It could be the
key to slowing down Aaron Rodgers, putting the Steelers offense
in neutral and the Jets defense being able to impose
it well a little bit.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
I like the cut of your Jim Matt Lombardo. I
like the cut of your Jim pow and also I
like the cut of the between the hatsmarks Jim two,
which again the QR code is here on the screen.
There's also again a direct link of the YouTube description
down below that you guys could go check it out
to hear from Matt Lombardo all week long. Baby, Matt,
thank you so much for taking the time, and like
I said, I'm very much looking forward to these conversations
(27:42):
on a week to week basis.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
As am I my friend. Thanks as always and make
sure you get some of that espresso go when you
got a long day ahead of you.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
That I do, Matt Lombardo, then I do, but we'll
try to figure it out. And what Matt Lombard is
of course referencing. If you're just joining us here on
the show, make sure you guys like the video hit subscribe.
We got three hundred people in the room across all
of our social media platforms. We're doing this show right now.
Of course, Boy Green Daily a pregame show at twelve
fifty ten minutes before kickoff, we're gonna be back here
live doing a watch party and live play by play analysis.
(28:13):
You guys can call into the show. You guys can
interact to the comments section, super chants, memberships. They're gonna
live react to this game, maybe all together, and we
will do that throughout the entire game. At the end
of the game, after a quick WHOA unbelievable, we're gonna
jump over to the postgame stream, which is a separate
YouTube stream. So we will be live on air for
(28:34):
five plus hours today talking New York Jets football, which
there's nothing I'd rather be doing. That is true, Teddy, Oh,
it's about to Steeze have beetten emotional as I normally do.
Ted Saint Paul's not a cofee guy. I've never had
cofy before, but maybe one day, maybe today's that day.
Probably not, but you never know. So we've got a
(28:55):
lot going on here, a lot going on here. I
want to say this to all of our I see
a lot of you guys in the comments section that
are heading to our Jets Cowboys game, which by the way,
is less than a month away. Like I'm excited for it,
but I don't want us to rush too far because
I love going game by game, But that will be
terrific when we get there. If you guys did purchase
tickets for me for the Jets Cowboys game, you might
(29:17):
have gotten two notifications last night v email one the
ticket transfer process. Make sure you guys accept that ticket
transfer and download them to the wallet on your phone.
And number two, I had to follow up email confirming
that happened. So please, folks, make sure I sent the
jet ticket transfer last night for the Jets Cowboys game Sunday,
(29:37):
October fifth, K Brock and so many other so many
of you others out here in the comment section. I
can see again make sure you guys download that to
your wallet respectively. Coming up. Just want to let you
guys know we ended up doing that, all right. I
want to answer a few comments here and then we'll
open up the phone lines. Austrian Jet fan. Yes, the
(29:59):
ross the Jets made last night was a elevated Tyler
Johnson from the practice squad to the fifty three man roster.
For people that don't know what that means. Okay, for
people that don't know what that means. One second, who
for people that don't know what that means, It is
a temporary practice squad elevation. The Jets have a maximum
(30:21):
of two players that are allowed to bring up from
the practice squad if need be. They only brought up
one at Tyler Johnson. This is temporary. Tyler Johnson's here
for the Steelers game. We'll see in a couple hours
if they make him active or inactive, but they have
the opportunity to make him active. Is a part of
that game day roster, and then Monday tomorrow he returns
back to the practice squad. You're allowed these elevations throughout
(30:42):
the season, so that is temporary for those wondering the Jets.
By my count only have fifty two players on the
roster because unfortunately they officially placed Elijah Vera Tucker on
season ending injured reserve, well just injured reserve and by
nature at season ending because he tours triceps. So the
Jets have fifty two players on the not fifty three.
So I'm curious who will that player be. Again, my
(31:04):
speculation is that they will outright sign either Marquis Ays
or call Leval from the practice squad as the new
fifty third member of the team. I don't know if
that happens today or tomorrow. We'll see, but I fully
anticipate that being the move ultimately for the New York Jets.
But to your point, number on Austion Jets fan Tyler
Johnson being elevated does not surprise me at all. When
(31:26):
Darren Moujie about eight or nine days ago did his
sort of state of the union on the Jets roster,
he openly talked about Tyler Johnson being a key part
of this receiving game. Yet he was on the practice squad,
so the only natural thing to assume was that he
would be elevated, and he has been. Maybe to my point,
I just said maybe Tyler Johnson ends up being signed
out right to the roster and he returns, but I
(31:47):
would imagine they replace the offensive alignment. But either way,
we'll see what happens there. So, yes, Tyler Johnson was elevated,
so he is eligible to play in this game. We
will see if he is active again. That should be
coming out of eleven thirty. We will have a full
article out on that ready to go at eleven thirty
eleven forty five. Stephen fox Foxy says, glad we have
John Simpson back. We need that nasty. I think that
(32:08):
is the most underrated part of John Simpson's game that
people don't realize is, of course he's really good on
the football field, and that's that's really important. But he
brings his nasty, violent, angry, disruptive energy on the offensive line.
And I think that hooplah, that foot spot is infectious
to his teammates when he's finishing blocks, when he's finishing
(32:30):
plays and bringing that sort of violent hey man, this
is football energy. I think that spreads to the rest
of his teammates. So I think that's all good for business. Baby,
So I agree Stephen. Seeing that from John Simpson is awesome.
Let's go to Ricky New York Live baby with a
super chat shout out here on the program, which we appreciate.
Let's hear from my beautiful daughter, Zaraya Little. He's been
(32:55):
a member for ten months, so thanks Ricky Beiji, thanks
for coming on the show on Thursday. That was a
lot of fun. If you got have not checked out
his YouTube channel, Ricky New York Live. We were on
during the Cowboys Eagles game, so I was distracted, but
I tried to give some great analysis on Jet Steelers
and a lot of other stuff. So please make sure
you show your support for a fellow New York Jets
content creator and great fan of this show that is
(33:15):
a Ricky New York Live. So it's a lot of
fun coming on your show, Ricky, thank you so much
for the invite. Raymond T Let's get some local in here.
Syracuse Orange, what a comeback? Yeah, Syracuse played Yukon yesterday
and they got a last second overtime victory over the Huskies. Now,
I'm gonna be honest, that was sort of disappointing. I
mean I did not have it on my bingo card
(33:37):
that Syracuse had to you know, required overtime to beat Yukon.
That was a little off putting. And the quarterback, Steven Jelly,
Syracuse quarterback, I thought he looked awful. That was the
most awful forwardered yard passing game I've ever seen in
my life. He should have been intercepted multiple times. He
looked terrible. But you got the win, and that's what's
most important. CircUse now one on one on the season
and they trek on forward. Hopefully they can learn some
(33:59):
valuable lessons from that one, Raymond. But a win's a win,
of course, But I did not like how that win
was delivered, if I'm being honest. So let's go to
Danny in real life, our resident Buffalo Bills fan that
chimes in all the time on the show on Twitter. Sorry, BG,
I took the Steelers of my survivor pool this week.
Patchwork offensive line, new coach, new quarterback, no wide receiver.
Two notes Sauce. Maybe a tough go today for New Jersey.
(34:21):
Today I can give you the full update. Danny Sauce
is one hundred percent in. He did not even receive
a injury designation this week. I know he was. He
was on the injury report very early in the week
with the calf and then it went to the fibula.
But Sauce has no injury designation whatsoever, so he is
in fact playing Danny. The only players that are out
for the Jets are Abt for obvious reasons, and Essa
(34:42):
Pohl is out as well, so a couple of backup
offensive linemen that may not have even been active anyway.
And then Abt he's out as well. So no biggies
outside of Abt in terms of injuries for the Jets.
But Danny, I you know, I wouldn't feel too good
about that survivor pick if I were you. I feel
like the Jets have a great chance to win this
(35:03):
gash during contest, buddy. But more power to you, Danny,
war power to you. All Right, everybody, let's do this.
It is a game day episode. And thank you. See
I just was getting notifications on my phone. Kybrouck says,
I just downloaded my ticket to my Apple wallet. BG,
thank you and everyone else. Again. Another reminder, if you're
going to a Jets Cowboys game last night, you should
(35:23):
have gotten two notifications via email, one from the New
York Jets saying hey, here's some tickets and number to
an email for me following up saying, hey, just send
your tickets. Make sure you download them to your wallet, So, folks,
make sure you do that in the near future if
you haven't. I just sent out somewhere in the ballpark
got fifty five something tickets. So I'm getting a lot
of email notifications. So I'll try to after Jet Stealers
(35:45):
Week one and all this craziness is over, I'll try
to review to see if any of you did not
accept your tickets, but make sure you do so. I
did send them to all of you out there in
the universe. Everyone that bought tickets got should have received
a ticket transfer last night based on the emails you
guys provided me months ago. If you didn't reach out
soon to make sure that we can get you your tickets,
please please please make sure you did that. All right,
(36:07):
let's do this. Let's open up the phone lines. Baby,
here on the program. We'll take a quick half time
out and your phone calls are welcome. Next, it's Jet Steelers.

here on the program, and why the hell wouldn't it.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
It's game day, baby, Jet Steelers. Let's go. Let's get
to the phone lines immediately. Here on the program, we'll
start off with HEP, what's up? HEP?
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Hey ball?
Speaker 3 (38:41):
Where'd you go?
Speaker 8 (38:42):
Man?
Speaker 10 (38:42):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Yeah, yeah, I had to just do a quick pass
out there. I'm gonna be honest, and I'm like, hey,
maybe I have enough time. I'm like, just in case,
let me hit that loop. So but more HEP. Everyone's
all about that.
Speaker 11 (38:53):
Hey, if I didn't have if I don't have an
E wallet, could I just print it out on a
on a piece of paper.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
I don't believe they let you do that anymore, but
I believe. I mean, maybe they will, and maybe I'm incorrect,
but I would check MetLife Stadium and the Jets website
have a FAQ Frequently Asked Questions section, so double check that.
I would hate for you to print it out and
then adopt either, so that that would be bad. So yes,
But but what they recommend, though, what they do recommend
(39:21):
is exactly what I said, is that ticket transfer, you
accept them, you download them to your phone, and then
you have them. So no matter what the Wi Fi situation, is.
That's another thing, because you could download them to your uh,
to your like your email and accept them that way.
But if you don't download them to your phone, if
the Wi Fi's question them on game day and you're
like here, I got them, they're like, I don't see
anything here, pal, then you can run into some issues.
That's why it's always important to do that.
Speaker 11 (39:43):
So yeah, okay, did is the information? Because I forgot
if I bought the parking or not.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
That's a good question. So, uh, if you bought the parking,
I'll definitely know that because I have when we for
anyone that bought them in advance, I definitely wrote that
down on my notes, so I we'll double check that
a few people did, but not everyone did, and for
anyone that didn't, they will have that opportunity. I believe.
If you already paid for it, you're all said, But
for anyone that has not paid for it, about a
(40:10):
week or two before the game, the Jets are gonna
give us a special discount link and I'll be able
to share it with everybody and then they can just
collect it by it themselves. If you already purchased it,
you won't have to worry about that. I'll have you
covered before the event.
Speaker 11 (40:22):
Okay, that's awesome. So it looks like a really dreary
day today, huh. I mean it's really dark out right now.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
It is, the weather thankfully says if we're to believe
the weather Apple, though other people said some other things
in the comment section, so maybe not. But the weather
says it's supposed to the rain. It's the shitty weather
right now for the next what would it be nine,
ten eleven, So another three and a half hours is
supposed to be just raining, but then after that it's
supposed to be over. So's it's supposed to wrap up
(40:53):
right before the pregame show that they have all over
the place at noon, So it should be an hour
of no rain until we get to the game. But
we'll see if that weather app is true.
Speaker 11 (41:03):
So I have some suggestions to people who are going
to watch the pregame yeah, game show.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Yeah, what I would do.
Speaker 11 (41:10):
Is sync up your your your your TV to your
your calling, like, you know, figure out what the time
is like if it's right after commercial, sync it up
to you. Yeah, turn the volume down on your TV
and listen to you.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
I love it. And by the way, I've been working
on this because HEP brought it up right, heps like,
I do the watch partyer do these things. So I've
just been in the lab. I've been doing other things
of how it's supposed to look and what's the best way,
and I think I cracked the code. So you guys
will you guys will see me, of course on screen,
and on the other side of the screen basically where
HEP is. It will be the game cast, so you
will see the time of the game, downs distance, all
(41:49):
those important facts and features and statistics, all kinds of
things that will be basically where HEP is right now
at twelve fifty one o'clock when the game officially starts,
so you'll get to hopefully sync up even better than before.
And of course people will be able to call in
and stuff like that, so yeah, that'd be great. So
I love it. We got to test out week eighteen.
(42:09):
I'll be honest. Other people have asked me, I'm like,
I don't know if people really want to listen to
me over the game, and I said, give it a whirl.
I'm like, all right, And I had a lot of
fun doing it, So yeah, I'm very much looking forward
to giving another whirl.
Speaker 11 (42:21):
This is really good for your chops.
Speaker 12 (42:23):
You're right, I mean, it's.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
True, It's very true. Thanks Bud, appreciate it. Pal, thank
you so much, Hepster And yes, so people, I would
suggest out there again for another reminder for the Jets
Cowboys game, make sure you download them, so accept the
transfer via email, download them to your wallet so you
have them ready for that October fifth Jets Cowboys game.
I think that's the best way that you don't have
(42:46):
to worry about why fire or any other issues. And again,
I don't even think they allow printing anymore, which is
what I used to do to have it already. But hey,
definitely check out the Jets website because I don't have
all that information in front of me. All right, let's
go back to the I'm launch in. Johnny Boy.
Speaker 12 (43:03):
Was going on, Man, good morning, bro.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
Oh my god, I can't believe we're here. Man, this
is insane.
Speaker 12 (43:08):
Hell yeah, dude, I'm I'm excited.
Speaker 10 (43:10):
I'm hype man one, one half of the Jets, throw
Wise is gonna be at the game today too.
Speaker 12 (43:17):
Okay, so he's probably already headed out there.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
To go I imagine, Yeah, probably tailgate.
Speaker 12 (43:22):
But I called in because it's Sunday.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
Of course Dan Green is back.
Speaker 12 (43:29):
Baby, we are ready.
Speaker 10 (43:31):
I can't wait to see what our team is gonna
put on the actual game today. Aaron Glenn, Man, I
think that's gonna be such a like huge. You remember
when that one name that I can't say anymore because
I will not say his name, how iconic it looked
(43:52):
when he was coming out with that with the flag
and everything. To see one of our own in ag
today there as the head coach of the New York Jets,
it's going to I'm hype, man.
Speaker 12 (44:06):
My Pops already called me.
Speaker 10 (44:07):
Pops is like, man, I can't wait to see Aaron
Glenn out there and everything.
Speaker 12 (44:11):
So he's all he's all hyped up.
Speaker 10 (44:14):
But I wanted to ask you, yeah, man, a couple
questions on the game. Sure, what happens first? Aaron Rodger
gets sacked first or he throws an intersection?
Speaker 1 (44:25):
Hmm, that's a good question. I would imagine the sack first,
because you know, although there'd be nothing we thought. If
people remember from that Jets Packers game a couple of
years ago, I believe there was Week five, the America's
Game of the Week, when the Jets were in Lambeau
on one of Aaron rodgers first passes of the game.
We thought it got intercepted and bounced off a heel
and went right into Sauce Gardner's hands for a touchdown.
(44:47):
We were like, oh my god, bends it and we're
losing it. And they said, ah, it look like it
just skirted off the ground, so no interception. We're like
a son of a gun. So I think what happens
is we get a sack and if it's from Jermaine,
I'm gonna lose my shit on air if the first
zact is like, Jermaine immediately slaps Project Jones on his
ass and just takes Aaron Rodgers down because Jermaine said
(45:10):
this week and I never knew this. So Aaron Rodgers
gets straight to the Jets. In twenty twenty three, Jermaine
greets him in the locker room and says, hey, it's
great to have you, but you know it sucks, and
Aaron's like, what are you talking about? What sucks? He's like, then,
I'm never gonna get to sack it now that you're
my teammate, and he said, and Jermaine tells Aaron like
(45:30):
on my bucket list was to sack Aaron Rodgers in
a game, and he thought that, like Aaron's career was
gonna have with the Jets, who would have never had
the chance. And he smiles at the media when he
tells him this week, He's like, now I got my chance,
So oh, I am gonna lose it if Jermaine gets
that sack early on. So yeah, I think it's sacked
because I still think he's definitely gonna throw an interception
(45:50):
of this game, and I hope it's that same stupid
play when he was on our team and people kept
doing the same thing where they just blitz the line.
They look like they are coming, and Aaron's can can't, can't, can't, can't,
and they hikes amall and tries to throat real quick
and then someone drops out from the blitz and intercepts it.
That has happened. It's it's our turn now. After he
was giving balls away like Oprah, what did you get
(46:12):
an interception? You get an interception. Hopefully he's feeling that
same giving mood today so the Jets could take advantage.
But I think it's sack first. And my guess is
Jermaine Johnson.
Speaker 10 (46:20):
Baby, could you imagine if it's Quinton Williams, because yo
Quinn Williams. But for some reason, that ball lands in
his hand and my man is rumbling and stumbling all.
Speaker 12 (46:31):
The way to try to score a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
Man.
Speaker 10 (46:33):
But the other thing, I wanted to ask you who
has more yards today? Braylan and all purpose yards? Braylon
or Breeze.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
Okay, that last thing just saved it because if you
would have just said straight up rushing yards, I'm like, like,
you can make a very compelling case, said Braylan. Allen
is going to be that tender rizer meat grinder in
between the twenties. They're just going Braylon, Braylan, Braylan, but
all purpose yards. I think the Jets are gonna get
very creative. If you go back to the Jet Steelers game,
(47:04):
what was that last year? Yeah, it had to because
that was the first game after at Devonte Adams Trade
Week seven. Brees All had that like fifty yard er
where was it? Dump off? And he makes plays and
went about it. I was watching a lot of Mike
Tomlin action this week. He had his press conference and
they have this like Mike Tomlin Show on the Steelers Network,
and he kept bringing up like they like prepare for
(47:26):
the brese Hall stuff all week, and he says it
was like so annoying basically that Bresaw got that play
and did it. He said, we prepared for that and
he still got us, so like we have the extra
prepare for it basically, so he just has that home
run ability. I think he's gonna be one of the
more involved pass catchers. Obviously, Garrett's gonna get his action
Mason as a rookie. We'll see how he performs today,
(47:46):
but Breestl's gonna get a lot of catching opportunity. So
I wouldn't be surprised if Breesaw's got something in the
ballpark of like forty fifty yards receiving and then you know,
like sixty yards rushing or something or maybe even more
and that combination is like a Buck twenty or something
that's right under hopefully Garrett Wilson. So yeah, I think
if it's all purpose, I think it's breeze.
Speaker 12 (48:09):
And then my last question, and then you know, I
know you got all the calls and whatnot.
Speaker 1 (48:13):
Sure the thoughts on the.
Speaker 10 (48:16):
Six wide receivers being activated and having still smart not
activated and you only you're running with Ruck and Taylor today.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
Well, let's make this clear. None of that is official yet,
so here, so let's break it all down so people understand. So,
first off, Tyler Johnson has been elevated from the practice squad.
That means he is eligible to play in the game,
but he may not. I'll explain that in a second.
At eleven thirty, the Jets and every team in the
NFL it's playing at one o'clock, has to make the
(48:49):
decision of who's active and who's not. There are fifty
three players on a roster. Forty eight of the fifty
three are active. Five are inactive, which means they can't
play the game outside of an emergence see quarterback rule.
But the Jets don't have to worry about that because
they don't have that quarterback on the roster, so that's irrelevant.
So there are five players today they're going to be inactive,
and I saw rich AMEDI like speculated on who maybe
(49:10):
those players could be. So we'll see what happens. That's
going to come out at eleven thirty, So we're nine
ten eleven, we're three hours away from that, so we'll
see what happens. But yeah, so it's hard to give
any analysis on any of the speculation. We'll see on
if it's one of the tight ends I saw Rich said,
maybe Jelannie Woods the title they just picked up for
the Colts. Maybe he'll be inactive, and maybe that makes sense.
(49:31):
He hasn't been around the team long, so I don't
know what his knowledge is of the playbook. But hopefully
he gets out there because he's a big boy. But yeah,
we'll see on the decisions there. So nothing is official.
They don't have to make those active inactive decisions for
another couple hours.
Speaker 12 (49:44):
Got it, got it? Got it all right? Man, hey's
everybody out there.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
Day one the season.
Speaker 10 (49:52):
I'm excited to get this Aaron Rodgers crop over with
to be honest with you, because I'm tired of hearing
that dude's name.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Yeah, whoop his as.
Speaker 10 (50:00):
Get a dumb out of there, and let's start the
season the right way. J E ts Jets jests Jets.
I'm hyped, dude. I've been up since five. I can't
go to sleep. It's makes no sense. My wife was like,
why are you up?
Speaker 12 (50:17):
Why? I like, why would I not be up? Right?
Speaker 10 (50:19):
I mean, hey, so everybody out there, all the fans, Hey, man,
let's enjoy it.
Speaker 12 (50:26):
Let's have fun and beg dude, I don't know how
you're gonna do the live stuff, bro.
Speaker 10 (50:30):
I couldn't do it, man, you guys did, people would
see a different side of me, to be like, something's
mental with this dude.
Speaker 1 (50:38):
And that's what I've told people is that normally I
watch a game by myself. I watch it with no one.
I don't go out to a bar unless I like
there was some reason, which there was a couple of
years ago, I had no choice, like something happened to
our house and I'm like, damn it, fine, I'll go out.
And the game I went out for was the Patriots
beating the Jets on the walk off punt return for
a touchdown and and oh my god, I was absolutely
(51:02):
insufferable at that bar. So no, that will be an
interesting journey for people to see me because right, like,
if you think about the play by play when I
did last year Week eighteen, the season was over, like
I you know, I delivered it the same way you
know I hopefully would, but Week one, the juices, who
knows what is going to be said? But hey, I
don't know if you saw this, Johnny, So let's give
(51:23):
a Jet chance.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
Y, Yes, juts Jets, Jets, Yes.
Speaker 1 (51:29):
Yeah, thank you Bob getting us ready for games.
Speaker 13 (51:34):
That is probably the best clip you have, bro, Bob.
Hey man, we love Bob, but that damn it looks
like a bootleg ymc A right. I have no idea
what he's doing on there, but hey, BG, do you think, man,
last thing?
Speaker 10 (51:54):
Any kind of rituals you do Normally I go to
sleep wearing Jet stuff, right, and then I'm in Jet's
green all day. I'm trying it different this time, right,
so maybe I'll wear it like right at the game,
right from my Jets up.
Speaker 12 (52:11):
On and all that.
Speaker 10 (52:11):
So I'm trying to maybe manifest that this is the
way for us to get this dove today.
Speaker 12 (52:17):
So BG, appreciate you man.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
Thanks Pal. Yes, superstitions, that's a good one again. I
go back to the twenty fifteen season. We were in
the middle of a winning streak and for some reason
in the middle of the season, someone bought me a
pair of Jets socks and I went like, all right,
and the Jets were on whatever the record was, and
I put them on, and the Jets won I'm like,
all right, where in the next week, where in the
(52:40):
next week, Where in the next week, Where in the
next week. And we went on a five game winning streak.
At the end of the season, we're ten and five,
and I'm like, oh my god, these are the legendary socks.
And before that final game against the Buffalo Bills where
we lose, I lost the socks. I couldn't find them.
And I was like, wait, no, where the socks?
Speaker 12 (52:58):
That that was the match?
Speaker 1 (53:00):
I convinced myself and I could not find the socks
before the game we lose, and forever, I don't even
know if I still have the socks. And I was
just like, oh my god, sucks. So I'm a superstitious
guy for sure, there's no question about it. But yeah,
I'm a like so food, you know, I'm a food
traditional guy, Like I like a good and I haven't
(53:22):
done this a while because I don't live with my
parents anymore. But we used to get like these roast
beef sandwiches and I like it real rare, Like I
don't want no elephant meat my roast beef looking gray.
It's got to be red, it's got to be bloody,
and a nice roast beef with spicy mustard and some
nice crispy kettle chips with the cold dewey. Oh yeah,
that used to be the end of the day. Now
(53:43):
I do this diner tradition with my fiance, which I'm
gonna try to squeeze in here between all the Jets action.
Take him out to breakfast and we'll do that and
I'll get home and get like in game mode. But
that's that's good too, So good stuff there from Johnny Boy.
But yes, that that Bob video will forever be a
key piece of the puzzle obviously for the show moving forward.
(54:04):
Another key piece of the puzzle of Jet fandom is
none other than Indie Jets, who is here on a
Game Day episode and it is confirmed. I confirmed it
to him over email, but I'll confirm it to him
right now. Indy, you'll be sitting Agent zero. You'll be
sitting right next to James Woody for the game. It
(54:25):
is MA, It's gonna be Pop, It's gonna be Shad.
So shout out to Shad for winning the opportunity to
sit next to Pop. It's gonna be Indy next to Shad,
who is sitting next to Pop. It's gonna be wooty,
and it's gonna be boy Green. That is the front
line there of action. And then d n Y for
Life will be on the other side of me. So
(54:46):
it's gonna be pretty cool. Man.
Speaker 6 (54:48):
The trenches. Couldn't get any better, brother, couldn't get any better.
You know, getting ready, you know, getting ready to head
up to uh dill Worths to meet up with the Jets.
Philly Noodles and I are going to be up there cool.
So you know, I don't know, are you going to
be on live during the game?
Speaker 1 (55:06):
I am, yes, okay, So you know.
Speaker 6 (55:09):
Maybe at some point if you open up a you know,
halftime or something like that. You know, I'll get with
Philly and and we'll find a well, we'll try to
find a quiet corner somewhere. The great part about the
great part about Delawares up there is the Steelers Bar
is down in the basement below us. What yes, So
that's what I love going to Dilwarst during a Jet
(55:31):
Steelers game because it's only a Jet Steelers bar.
Speaker 1 (55:34):
That's so crazy.
Speaker 6 (55:36):
And so the Jets get the Jets get the main floor,
and then the Steelers as they should be in the basement,
and that building just gets rocking. Every time the Jets score.
The ceiling must sound like it's coming down on those
Steeler fans. And when we walk out with a win,
(55:57):
we all line up along this, you know, along this
starewell and watch them hang their heads. It's like we're
going to do today, hang their heads as they walk
out through their car. So we'll raise a glass of
coffee today and let's go get this win.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
BG beautiful, let's boyp and go Indy. I love the agent,
Zero Jersey. I can't wait. The phone lunch will be open,
so you and Philly feel free to call in. That'll
be awesome.
Speaker 6 (56:22):
Gay question for you. You know we talk about you
talk about Sauce and DK going at it each other, right, Yeah,
But it's more of does Rogers have enough? Is Rogers
confident enough to throw at Sauce? Because not too many
quarterbacks are That's true. You know Rogers knows Sauce pretty well.
(56:44):
Does he have enough confidence to throw at him? And
if he doesn't, who's he throwing to?
Speaker 10 (56:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (56:53):
I would imagine the tight ends, right, so farm Youth
and John Us Smith. I don't know how Again, it's
impossible to know I guess because we don't many games
to have anything to back it off of. And he
didn't play in the preseason because Alvin Austin is his
second receiver quote unquote, And I that's a good question.
I would imagine tight ends, but historically speaking, he doesn't
target tight end. So I'm unless Arthur respect has some
(57:16):
creative placement of John Smith and Pat fryarm youth like
flexed out, I'll be sort of curious who that guy is.
But I would assume the tight ends.
Speaker 6 (57:23):
I guess, yeah, I mean, or you would take that
and like you hit the nail on the head. Rider
doesn't like his tight ends. He never has and so
does he have enough? Does he have enough colhunahs to
throw at somebody? He knows quite well, because if you
go back and look, if you remember the twenty eighteen
game or twenty eighteen twenty ten game Rogers in Green
(57:45):
Bay against the Jets, he stayed, he stayed away from brievis.
He wanted nothing to do.
Speaker 1 (57:53):
We lost that game nine to nothing nothing. Yes, I
remember that game. And here's the thing. The NFL rule
book fucked us up twice. We had there was two
simultaneous catches that happened during that game that is supposed
to go to the offense, but they called it Packers
interceptions and I lost my mind. I said, the rules
states a simultaneous catch, the leen goes to the champion.
(58:17):
In wrestling, the lane goes to the offense. They still
call them interceptions, and it pissed me off to this day.
And we should have gotten our chance for that rematch,
which would have been the super Bowl. But we all
know what happened, and that those dams Heelers again. So yes,
I remember that nine to nothing game. Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (58:30):
Yeah. But you know, uh, he stayed away from Revas.
He does not like to go at somebody like that. Uh,
And I don't think he's got enough. I don't think
he'll go at Sauce, which that eliminates DK if.
Speaker 1 (58:43):
As long as ten now right, let's go right, Yeah,
and on a I.
Speaker 6 (58:49):
Think that uh uh, you know, removed throwing that into
the equation.
Speaker 3 (58:54):
I haven't.
Speaker 6 (58:55):
I wanted to bring that up when Woody was on
because I think that would have been a good insight
that Woody would have used. It's not the Sauce DK matchup,
but the Sauce Rogers matchup.
Speaker 1 (59:06):
You know, they gets a that's a wooty and one there.
I see Woody three, three and one there at four parts.
Speaker 6 (59:13):
I was really hoping that that was Woody's number three
when he came out, but you know he didn't. But anyway, hey,
it's it's the beginning of the NFL season. Can we can?
Can we just get through each game with no injury,
no more injuries, you know, and let our best go
(59:34):
against your best and let's walk away with a victory
today and you know, bring on Buffalo.
Speaker 9 (59:43):
You know.
Speaker 1 (59:44):
The follow up was thanks brother, cheers and you guys
enjoy the game again. The phone launch will be open
for that live watch party again. I'll be coming on
about twelve fifty ten minutes before the game and we

David just sent me five dollars one through. Hey, now

Let's go to the phone lines. This guy's heading to
our Jets Cowboys game. Baby, I can't wait for it.
It's k Rock.
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
What's up, Kroy?
Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
What's going on? Man? Are you getting ready to go
to Jet Steelers.
Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
Yeah, at the gas station, about to head out in
five minutes. It's waiting for my buddy.
Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
All right, beautiful And I got the green G five on. Ah, nice,
got the super.
Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
Bowl ring on.
Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
Oh that's beautiful. Yeah. And by the way, I've got
the ticket information here of where everyone's sitting and sitting
and you're right here in the thick of everybody here.
We've got Indie Woody, Boy Green d n Y for

Tried to get as many of you guys in the
middle of the action as possible. But either it's gonna
be a lot of fun. I can't wait.
Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
Oh yeah, I can't wait. Gonna be better seats that
I'm sitting in today. I'm sitting in the nosebleeds today.
Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
Hey, you know what if I could and you know,
like I said, I've told this to my fans, if
I live closer, I would have season tickets like nobody's business.
And I don't care where they put me top of
the stadium front row anyway. It's just being there. Man,
I don't mind.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
I don't mind the three hundreds. Honestly, it's still a
good view.
Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
I think so too. Me and my pop have gone
to a couple of games that met life over the years,
and we've turned through each other and said, damn, there's
not a bad seat in the house. Now we've picked
uh you know, sometimes we've been in the three hundreds,
but the front row the three hundreds, and you just
get this awesome view.
Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
Yeah, I think that's I think that's where we're sitting today.
Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
Is sometimes in the three hundreds you get people that
stand up in front of you and then you can't see.
Speaker 1 (01:04:54):
Come on, man, like, okay, key, third downs, a touchdown happens,
we burst out of our seat.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
Okay, but turn down. I'm not sitting in my seat,
that's not yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
So come on, but just the entire game, like, dude,
what the hell? Especially I'm vertically challenge I'm like, oh yeah, hey,
now what's going on over there?
Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
Yeah, that might be hard for you to say. I mean,
I'm six one so it's not too bad.
Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
Oh wow, so there you go. You're you're a little
bit better prepared. So what's your prediction for Jet Steelers Day?
What's gonna happen?
Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
My prediction Rogers is getting sacked four times.
Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
Oh nice, two by Will McDonald, one by quinnin and
one by Jermaine. Okay, and Sauce is gonna get a
pick late in the fourth quarter. Jets win twenty to seventeen.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
Oh yeah, baby, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I
want to know maybe wait, I can't wait. It's gonna
be awesome. K Brock enjoyed the hell out of the game,
brother o Jay, there he is K Brock baby making
it rain. Come on now, let's give him another one here.
(01:06:00):
I am so fired up. There's just no other way
to put it. I am fregging fired up like nobody's
goddamn business. Excuse my Guatemala there, sorry for seeing the
lord's name in vain. I am just absolutely fired up,
and so should all you guys be. Again, we got
four hundred people in the room right now, and we
have one hundred and fifty eight of you on YouTube,
(01:06:21):
So thank you guys for tuning in. Appreciate it so much.
And again let's keep this in mind though you know,
I have seventy one likes, but there's one hundred and
fifty eight of you watching on YouTube. Guys like the video.
That is the free way to contribute to this program.
It helps get this show in front of other jet
fans out in the universe. So don't be afraid of it,
get familiar with it, get comfortable with it. Buye a
(01:06:42):
nice drink. Tell Inton has nice hair, I don't know.
Hit that like button, baby. That is the optimal way
to enjoy the program, of course on YouTube, but also
make sure you guys like that video and hit subscribe
to spread the gospel of all things. Boy Green Daily
is going to be a crazy day today, absolutely crazy again,
(01:07:05):
five plus hours of live streaming is happening on this channel. Baby,
Let's go our boy dn why for Life baby with
a super chat. Let's bleep and go wh there he
is our boy d n y for Life. Hit him
(01:07:25):
game day, BG, let's go. I am so excited and
fired up the storylines. But finally, and I think I
could speak for this for a lot of people out
there in the universe that just we could get to results.
And by the way, D and Y for Life, you
know have nine raffle tickets to our contest based on
your previous super chats, So thank you very much. And
I think that's it. We've talked about this game nauseatingly
(01:07:49):
for months, X Factors, Rogers, Justin Fields, Aaron Glenn, Mike Tomlin,
over and over and over. Now the noise is over.
Now the noise is over. It's time for action, not
for words. So let's get to it. Let's get it on, Jets, stealers,
what actually happens. We don't have to speculate anymore, we
(01:08:11):
don't have to talk about it anymore. I know a
lot of Johnny boys said this earlier about the Aaron
Rodgers factor. After this game it's over. Then it's bills,
and then then the train moves on, and this thing
goes quick, very very quick. But I'm excited about it.
Look at this. Mamma's in the chat. Baby, here she
(01:08:31):
goes j E T S for the win today. J
E T S w I n w I n w
I n it's.
Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
Jay e G Yes, yes, yes, yuts.
Speaker 4 (01:08:42):
I love Fireman ed too.
Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
As do I, Chucky, as do I. It is a
friggin game day. Yes, yes, yes, yes, time to win,
as Barbara says, and I can't wait to meet Barbara
at the tailgate. She got her tickets last night via email.
So it's gonna be awesome to meet Barbara. It's gonna
be awesome to meet so many of you guys. I
can't wait again. I don't want to fast forward to
(01:09:05):
Jets Cowboys because I want to enjoy every Jets game
that obviously hits us here. But I am so it's
gonna be so cool meeting you guys for the meet
and greet the night before the Jets game the next day,
and now that we're in Jets season, I mean, we
are off to the bleeping races, everybody. We're off to
the races, and it feels awesome. We are frigging here, guys.
(01:09:27):
I hope you tune back in for the live watch
party that'll be coming up again at twelve fifty. I'll
be joining you, guys. You will see not the game.
I don't have television rights to the game unfortunately, so
I'll be watching the game though. It's gonna be on
this little projector shout out to my fiance. It's gonna
be projecting on this wall over here. I'm gonna be
giving play by play analysis. You will see where the
(01:09:48):
game is at in the game, and I will give
the updates and you'll get to see it on the screen.
So you guys can call in, you guys can get
involved and do everything that you'd like during the contest.
So going to be a lot of fun. It will
be a live watch party. We'll be on from twelve
to fifty through the end of the game, and then
we'll jump over to the postgame stream which will be
coming up on the channel, which is gonna be awesome.
(01:10:12):
Oh wow, here you go. Fl Phil ninety eight just
donated nine dollars, but in a special way. Wow wow
for spreading the love and spreading the raffle tickets. Baby,
you love to see it.
Speaker 8 (01:10:26):

Speaker 3 (01:10:26):
No, We're a freaking New York jet so we're built
for this shit.
Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
Philium giving back to the Coffee Club with a nine
dollars super chat, but instead of taking the three raffle
tickets for himself, he's giving one each to mother e
fing Chew. That gives you four Raffle tickets so far
this month, MFC, so appreciate it. We get another raffle
ticket for Jared baby here on the channel. That's really cool.
In a shout out to Jared. He does not get
(01:10:52):
enough love for everything he does for this channel behind
the scenes. So Jared is officially on the ledger for
a raft and Bubba bubb bah Badshaw getting a raffle
ticket as well from our boy Filium. Really appreciate it, Filium.
That's super cool of you, and you've always been very
giving with all of these as well, which we appreciate.
And that is a Bad Show's first raffle ticket of
(01:11:14):
the month as well. So shout out to our guy Badshaw,
who again is donating the Bob letter book right there
beyond Broadway Joe the team that changed football, the Super
Bowl team that changed football. Excuse me, so really cool
of bad Choan. Thank you Philium for spreading the love baby,
pretty pretty cool. Salute to you Filium as well. That's awesome.

out to hop On Pop who's popping on here saying hey, now,
hey guys again, we'll have the live stream. You guys
will be able to call into the show and interact.

happen again. I hope you guys can rejoin us for that.
Shout out to everybody for all the raffle tickets again

tuned to Heavy on Jets. We'll have some articles dropping,
especially on the breaking news Active Inactive Game Day that
will be coming up at eleven thirty, So stay tuned
(01:12:20):
to Heavy on Jets. Thank you everybody, j Ets. This
won't be the last time you see me again. The
