The New York Jets have made some roster moves after
their Week one loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. We're turning
the page to the Buffalo Bills. We'll give you all
those roster transactions and react to the latest. Aaron Glenn Presser,

down below. The Jets, excuse me, made a handful of
roster moves yesterday. Let's break them all down. First off,
Tyler Johnson is here to stay for the New York Jets,
so let's break down everything that happened there, because that
might confuse the people. So Tyler Johnson made the initial

(01:25):
fifty three man roster for the Jets. They made a
bunch of waiver claims. They released Tyler Johnson, but because
he's a vested veteran, he was able to return to
the practice squad immediately. He did not have to clear waivers,
so most recently, he was on the practice squad the
night before the games that the game was September seventh.
On Saturday, September sixth, the Jets decided to elevate Tyler

(01:47):
Johnson from the practice squad to the roster. That is
a temporary elevation, which means if the Jets did nothing,
he would have been on the roster for Sunday and
he would have reverted to the practice squad yesterday. But
right as he was about to revert to the practice squad,
the Jets decided they wanted to keep him around once
again on the fifty three man roster. The Jets did

(02:08):
not have to make a corresponding roster move because, sadly, unfortunately,
Elijah Vera Tucker, his season was officially over. He was
placed on ir which opened up a roster spot. The
Jets didn't do anything with that roster spot until yesterday,
when they signed Tyler Johnson back to the fifty three
man roster, bringing back their vested veteran to the roster now.

(02:33):
Because Tyler Johnson was most recently on the practice squad,
there was a practice squad spot suddenly available and the
Jets brought back Liam Fornadale. Liam Fornadale offensive lineman that
they added to the squad earlier this offseason. I'll give
you the bio that the Jets provided in the press
release on Liam Fernadell. He's six foot fourth or under

twelve pounds. He joined the Jets in July right ahead
of training camp, ended up preparing at all three preseason
games for the Jets. He was waived in August. Is
a James Madison product. Most recently spent time with the
DC Defenders of the UFL. Prior to his time with
the New York Jets. He also played in the Canadian
Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after he went

undrafted back in twenty twenty two. He did have some
time in the National Football League in twenty twenty fourth
the New England Patriots and was released in December. He
is a New Jersey native. He played at Don Brosco Prep.
He started forty games in college at JMU James Madison
thirty one at right tackle, eight at left tackle, so
predominantly an offensive tackle depth for the New York New

York Jets. Again, he's going to start on the practice squad.
We'll see what happens there. Woo. That is the roster
news and everybody, I want you to know that the
ticker down below is finally updated. So apologies to everyone
from Joejoe to Dick Chimney's burner to I Believe in
Freedom Chef Kevin Gilbert and everyone else, David Foley, so

many wonderful people, bad shaw on others that I had
not updated the scrolling ticker from the craziness of the
game on Sunday and then of course yesterday show with
Nick Ferrier, our beat reporter from Jets x factor dot com.
So that is all now taken care of. Now the
next thing. So that's all the roster moves, and that's true.
And hey, it's onto Buffalo Bill's week. And I'll tell

you this right off the beginning of the week, I
feel really good about the Buffalo Bills. And I know
that's going to sound crazy, because the Bills just slayed
the dragon of the Baltimore Ravens in their house on
Sunday Night football and what may end up being the
game of the year. It may be, and you may say, Paul,
how can you look at that? Say? Yeah, hell As
we'll talk about throughout the week with Buffalo Bills experts

(04:48):
and guests as we break this game down, and we
two is the Jets have a second straight home game
against their division rival. I feel really good at going
into the game. The Bill showed a lot of flaws
I think the Jets will take advantage of. Now I'm
not naive. I'm sure there's things that the Bills looked
at the Jets and said, oh, look at this, like
a pass defense outside of South Gardner. I imagine they

looked at Brandon Stevens said yeah, I want a piece
of that action. Michael Carter, the second will have to
have a strong bounce back. He was inconsistent as a
tackler and even some of his coverage a couple of
dropped interceptions. We didn't talk a lot about this over
the last forty eight hours, but we should. Brandon Stevens
had a pick six. We didn't see it on the
live play because if all the game actually going on

(05:33):
and bouncing between. But Brandon steven should have had a
pick six, which totally changed the game. Aaron Rodgers was pressured,
shucked it out there. Brandon Stevens was the only one there,
and he slept and he was slipping and sliding all
over the place. He was on skates. That would have
been a pick six, obviously completely changes the game. Michael
Carter the second had a dropped interception, would have been
a play, but it was a dropped interception, So there

were opportunities left on the field by the New York
Jets secifically, I'm sure if I'm josh Allen, reigning MVP
Josh Adin, I'm looking at that Jet secondary going, oh,
I think there's some damage that could be done over there.
So just's gonna have to clean up some stuff. Ag
at his presser yesterday, said that he believes that whatever
pass covered issues they have, they're just gonna be able

to fix, and it's a couple of things here or there.
He still strongly believes in Brandon Stevens, So no branded
Stevens benching is coming at anytime soon. It's not coming
anytime soon. By the way. Let's get this up from
Steven Fox. By the way, it looks like YouTube fixed
all your guys' names, so whatever, that temporary handle thing

was fixed, So thank the YouTube overlords for that. Stephen

That wasn't disgusted. He was carrying the ball in the
wrong arm. You're taught to carry the ball in the
arm away from the defense fundamentals. Smh. Yes, some one

up to Nick Ferry yesterday and it was a great point. Yeah,

it supposed to be boundary armed. So for instance, if
you're running sideline and you've got sidelines to your right,
balls in your right, so you can stiff armed defenders.
And also any fumble goes out of bounds, so it's
the same thing when you're running in this case. Laterally
that he should you don't have it front facing where

it could get whacked. You have it on the back
end to protect it. So that is a great point
from a fundamental standpoint, which is probably more of a
reason that people should be like, hey man, hey, that's
that's pretty basic stuff that you should be doing. So
hey tooche tooche.

Green says Sauce should travel with Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer
should be in for more catches. Kaleio shik here, guys,
I think is another one. Now again, it'll be up
to the Jets and we'll try to play some of these.
Aaron Glenn comments here. Aaron Glenn said yesterday that Sauce
will certainly travel this season, but it will be situational.
There will be games that he's left and right. And

I think what Aaron Glenn is saying there without saying
it is if there is a game that doesn't where
a team doesn't have a clear number one wide receiver,
I don't think they're just going to manufacture and say
Sauce the travel with. I don't know the Jets. I
do know the Jets schedule, but I'm trying to figure
some random opponent that would have a substandard receiver, like

I mean, New England will have Stephan Dicks. I don't know.
Whatever the example is, there's gonna be a team that
does not have a really good receivering corps and then
it's sort of inconsequential. So Sauce stay, stay left, will
go right and do all this other Jets, So I
think that's gonna happen for the Bills. I'm curious how
the Jets feel about Sauce being on a smaller receiver.

(08:40):
But Khalil Shakir is the true wide receiver one despite
what the results were in that Bills game. Now, maybe
it is keyon Coleman because he's the young kid and
he's got a lot of potential and you just want
to reel that in. But I'm a little worried if
Khalis Shakir is on somebody else. Hopefully Michael Carter the
second could do some damage aify primarily stay in the slot.

(09:00):
But yeah, there's gonna be some challenges. There's gonna be
some challenges. Yeah, we will be cooked. Brand Stevens needs
to step up real quick, like there's no question. Yeah,
that was a big Achilles heel for the New York Jets.
But the reason why, let me answer that real quick
and then we'll get into some of Aaron Glenn's comments.

(09:24):
The reason why I feel good is sure the Bill's
won there one to zero, but the Jets will have
a chance to get first place in the AFC East
in Week two. They will have a chance to share
that crown in Week two because, of course, the Jets
host the Buffalo Bills, but the Patriots and Dolphins play,

(09:45):
so two teams will be tied at the top of
the division at one and one. Miami is hosting the
New England Patriots, so hopefully they could get their bleep together.
The Miami's had some success in Miami against New England.
We'll see if that continues now. I mean, if they
play anyway the way they played against Indianapolis, they're gonna
get throat stopped by everybody in the league. So we'll
see if the Dolphins can bounce back there. But no,

(10:07):
the thing that makes me feel really confident, like I
said about this Bills game, is the Jets can run
the gosh darn football. They prove that everyone knew in
the universe the Jets are gonna run the ball against
the Steelers and they didn't do a damn thing about it,
not a damn thing, and that's gonna be the identity

(10:30):
of this team. The Bills gave up twenty nine carries
for two hundred and thirty eight yards and three touchdowns,
and you may say, well, Paul, it was the Baltimore
ravens Lamar Jackson, Derek Henry. Pretty good they are, But
the Bills had run defense issues last season, and this
just adds to it. Again. If I'm the Jets rushing offense,

I'm like, oh, look at match shops on that barbecue
chicken that's there on the Bills run defense, because I'm
feeling pretty pretty good. Yeah, Ti Johnson for those asking,
he is on the Bill's roster and actually been a
few plays on the Sunday night football game. Yes he did.

don't know how much that plays a factor. But the

How many teams do you think the Jets would have
been able to beat in Week one? So there's thirty
two teams and the Jets scored thirty two points. How

they didn't play the Steels have played one of the
other insert amount of teams that scored less than them.

How many teams do you think they would have beat?

seven teams. Think about that first second, Guys, what I
just said. Okay, the Jets scored thirty two points and
they lost one hundred percent. They lost. But if you're
telling me that's how Justin Field is going to play,
that's how Tan Ranks is going to call offense. And
those are the kind of points and that's probably unrealistic
score that many points game. But still, if they're gonna
score like thirty two points game, then you're gonna win

more times than that because the Jets would have beaten
twenty seven other teams in the National Football League, they
happen to be playing one of the only five that
scored more than them. So that's a pretty good standing
if you were a Jets fan to say that. Again,
I know there's no moral cookies. I know there's all
that that's true and moral wins and all that stuff,
but they're the Jets did a lot right over the

weekend that should make you feel good about more wins
coming down the line.

Absolutely, And that's and you know I noticed, you know, yeah,
did we take the loss on it? Yeah.

And there's no moral there's no moral victories. At the
end of the season. You you take your wins and
losses and that's just what they are. It doesn't matter
how you get them. But even through all that whole
game and we take the l and we get disappointed.

This that the high from any game last year, even
through the wins. Uh, you know, the team just didn't
look good, even when even in the wins that we
had last year, this team looked really good, uh, minus
a couple of mistakes. And you're gonna get that, even Rogers,

and and that happens, especially in the first game of
the season. You know, it's gonna take three or four
games for for everything to kind of for the dust
to settle. So I'm still excited. I mean, this is
the we have to look at the positives and say
this team is headed in the right direction, you know.

again meeting up Aaron dil worst with Philly. You know,
Philly Noodles will be up there again. So uh, we'll
we'll we'll run it back and and you know, again
there's here's here's the chance of of of beating the Bills.

have we asked for? We want a chance to be

those that were predicting five six wins and then and
they are upset that we got beat by the Steelers, Well,
if you're predicting five or six wins.

clock as they're going or take off a lot more

and a late second field goal. You know, they lose
the game. Does that mean the Ravens are trash?

scored thirty two points in an opening game?

You know, probably Jets Bills a bunch of years ago.
That was the preseason where the Jets score any points.
Everyone said it was a disaster, and then they dropped
forty eight. It was anno years. That's a long time ago.

Yeah, that's that's but those were those were playoff gate seasons,

there's a lot to be excited about this year. I mean,
even even after a loss, there's still a lot to
be excited about. If we would have gotten blown out
