players have already been ruled out, plus a heating up

fifth Jets Cowboys game. Keep them coming, all right, let's
do this. Several preseason players have been ruled out for
the Jets. That happened yesterday from Aaron Glenn. So let's
just get to some meat and potatoes here. Quinn Williams
was ruled out. He's battling a calf. John Simpson was
ruled out. He's battling a back that you're starting left

guarded defensive tackle, respectively. And then you have two backup players,
Chris Boyd, who's more so a special teamer. He is
listed in the defensive backfield, but he's a special teamer.
He was ruled out with the shoulder, and Xavier Gibson
ruled out with the shoulder. Let's go through a couple
of these. First, Quinnin, be precautionary. Take care of your business.
It's August fifth right now. The season's another month away,

(04:03):
four or five weeks away. Take care of him, especially Calves.
And we had James Woody the other day talking about
the fear of cab injuries with our athletes. So you
know what, let's put that big fell on ice and
let's get everything ready to roll in due time. So
Quinnin calv no prov John Simpson back, whoa We don't
want to be messing around with back injuries again. Aaron

Glenn also said, this is sort of a procautionary thing.
And here's the other thing. We're going to talk about
this in a minute, we might as well talk about
it now. Aaron Glenn yesterday was asked, hey, are you
going to be playing your starters in the preseason. Aaron
Glenn said he has not made that decision yet. We
have not made that decision yet, so we'll get that
information before the end of the week. Whether or not
starters are playing at any point during this Backers preseason game,

(04:47):
we'll see what happens there. Again, the first preseason game
for the Jets coming up here on Saturday night. We'll
have all the latest on that coming up shortly. There's
no question about it, so we don't even know if
stars are going to be played. My guess is now,
but we'll see what happens. I don't know, to be honest,
it's a wild speculation because I have no idea or
and Glenn's never been a head coach before, He's never

(05:09):
made these decisions, so bluntly, I have no freaking idea.
But we'll see what happens. So John Simpson Quinn are
out and then the backups Chris Boyd. Scary situation there
on Chris Boyd. It was he had to be carted
off the field. He appeared to be writhing in pain.
You never like hearing that description, and he was clutching
his arm. They're categorizing the injury as a shoulder, So

(05:30):
we'll see what happens. Aaron Glen said we'll get another
update on that probably a week from now, so we'll
see there. Zavier Gibson also the shoulder and hey man,
Xavier Gibson, if you look at the unofficial Jets step chart,
was listed as the top return guy both that pump
return and kick return. But people are breathing down his neck.
You have Jamal Pritchett, the undrafted regent out of South Alabama.
You have obviously Kenaean Guan, who's a former All Pro

return man. He's breathing down the neck. Also, Arian Smith
listed in both spots there as well, so we'll keep
an eye out for that. So interesting notes and quotes.
Question here from Kyle Clifton. Does Simpson's absence mean Meyers
starts at center where Tipman movie guard? Fascinating question. I'll

(06:11):
be curious if the starters play if they make that decision.
Speaking of the Center competition, I just dropped an article
on Heavy on Jets about this because if you guys
watched the show yesterday, Nick Ferry had joined us in
the eight am hour and he basically put Joe Tipman on.
Notice here was the quote. I won't play the clip,
but I'll just read you guys, to the quote. This
was Nick Ferrier, our Jets beat reporter from xpactor dot

(06:32):
com who joined us every week on the show. We
appreciate he's at these practices. He said, the fact that
Joe Tipman was listed as the starting center on the
unofficial Jets step chart means quote, absolutely nothing. He said
that he Joe Tipman and newcomer Josh Biersman splitting reps
in practice, and it's more neck and neck than people realize.
He was the quote quote, it's kind of dead even

(06:54):
they aren't really giving one more rep to that person
or one less rep to that person. They're both splitting
different days, and that's a sign that they want to
have this as a competition. I'm not really sure what's
going to happen. It's a big question mark there. It's
a lot closer than I think most people anticipated. Barry said,
if he was making the decision, he would go with
Tipman because he's younger and continuity and some of these
things from that perspective, so he believes that the decision

(07:18):
should be Tipman, But he says, you know, he's not
sure how it's going to turn out. Now. Aaron Glenn
spoke about this yesterday and his press conference. Here's what
he said, quote that is one of the battles that
I'm really enjoying. I think everybody understands like the battles
that we have as far as positions are concerned. Both
of those men are smart and they have picked this
offense up fairly quickly. They're both tough and physical. They

both do a really good job of helping Justin fields
when it comes to Mike points and things like that,
because they understand and know it just like Justin does.
It's a fierce, fierce battle. I actually want it to
be that way. Just across the board. I've said this before.
Elite athletes thrive on competition. It is showing up with
these two men. I think they're playing their asses off
right now. In regards to the situation, I know we

have two really good players at that spot. This is
going to that are going to do a good job
for us. Now. A media member very smart, I believe
this was rich. He asked, will Aaron Glenn require all
three preseason games to determine the competition? Who's gonna win
the starting job?

Joe timmanatrash Myyers? Do you need the entirety of the preseason,
which is only three preseason games now, and Glenn's responsors quote, well,
I can't say that. We will have to let it
roll the way it needs to roll. I'll tell you
what I'm enjoying, how those guys are out there battling.
I'm we were sort of debating this. I can't remember
which show it was. We do a show every day
in multiple shows to day Kyle, But the other day

we were talking about the offensive line and what I
was curious with, oh, left tackle. We're talking if Olu
went out, like who's gonna be the left tackle? That's
one of my concerns with the offensive line. Do you
completely reshuffle the board? Do you just believe in the backup, which,
if you're to believe the unofficial Jet step trot, that's
Max Mitchell. Does Max Mitchell come in and you're just like,
he's a left tackle? Or do you go whoa whoa,

(08:58):
whoa whoa whoa can't be Max Mitchell? Okay, Avt you're
at left tackle, Joe tipmid you're here, Josh Myers're here,
Like do you reshuffle the board? And I think there
is something to be said about, you know, continuity and
things of that nature, but also getting the five best
on the field is another way. So it is curious.
Kyle will have to keep an eye out for that
because if so, Simpson is obviously out. So what do

they do for that preseason opener on Saturday? Do they
shuffle the board that could give us a little hint
hint on what could be coming. It's a good question, Kyle,
good question. Thanks for sending that in, because the concern
for me if you do that is, first off, does
that reveal your intentions? Are you just doing this randomly

(09:41):
for a preseason game or does that reveal your intentions?
For instance, let's just say Josh Meyer stays at center
and then Joe Timmick kicks to guard. Is that what
they're going to do when an injury occurs or is
this just what they're doing in the preseason. That to
me would be curious. And the other thing here is
that we want The thing that I enjoy about the
preseason that apparently way not everyone does is that there

(10:02):
are live reps. You cannot simulate the bullets that are
happening in the middle of a preseason game, and that's
when the light shine brightest. So I really like the
preseason because I think it separates some of those people
from a variety of situations. So I think that's key.
So I think that's key. So we'll see where the
Jets lean from that perspective. Again, I prefer Tipman at

(10:23):
center personally. I know that we've had film people on
that have said, Hey, not too shabby at Guard or
this or that. I don't know, I don't know. I
see William here he says, I hate these commercials that
interrupt the live stream. I agree when I watch the
Jets like Aaron Glenn Presser or the live practice in

on the Jets, commercials cutting in are good. And I
will tell you guys this. You guys can believe this
or not believe this, William. But a big important piece
to me is that this thing that I do every
day is not just all about money to me. So
here's breaking the fourth wall here. If you guys watch
shows on YouTube, the creator so me has the choice

(11:10):
of how frequently do I want commercials. Obviously, the more
frequently you make commercials, the more money I can make
because they're flashing more shit on the screen. But I say, yeah, sure,
I could make more money but I'm good. I don't
want that to interrupt people. So I apologize for any
commercials that you guys get during the show, but I
will tell you this, I am not doing it at

(11:32):
the maximum value because I don't want it to annoy people.
So there's a breaking of the fourth wall. All us
content creators get to pick how often commercials are on
our program, and I don't get to pick exactly where
they are things that nature. That's up to the gods.
But you could pick out frequently and there's a maximum frequency,
which gives you a lot more money. I do not
pick that because I think that's annoying for the viewers.

(11:53):
So I try to minimize the commercials for you guys.
Like I said, I don't even know. I don't know
if a YouTube van is about to pull up outside
my house and dragged me out of the house for
people that don't know. But that's what I try to do,
so hopefully that helps you guys. Jared Besis YouTube Premium
and so worth it. There you go. I don't do that,
but you know, hey, different strokes, different folks. But like

I said, I don't know if a YouTube van is
about to pull me from my house. I don't know
if I'm allowed to say that on the show, but

Well him, I apologize again. We already talked about the
preseason injuries that are already out. I will be curious
to see whether the starters are going to play in

this preseason game. It should be pretty fascinating. We do
have two hundred people in the room. Make sure you

like I think they talked about the history when he
was drafted. Ou how about how many starting centers are

So Tyro Taylor, Mason, Tyrod Taylor, Mason Taylor, Sorry Double Taylor.
That threw me out there for a second. We will
keep an eye on both of those injuries. I'm uncertain.
I don't believe Tyrod participated in the individual drills either,
so that's more concern Again, I don't know how concerning
it is at all, but it's more concerning that he
didn't even participate in the individual drills, which would indicate

unless they're just being precautious, that would indicate more of
a Now, it could work out because he's an all man.
He just turned thirty six over the weekend, and now
these reps will go to Brady Cook and Adrian Martinez,
which would be great during the preseason. So you know,
there's always a positive that you could take away for sure.

the menu before, but what we have not done is

So we're hosting, for those who don't know, we're hosting
a tailgate extravagance and a ticket package and everything for
the Jets Cowboys game that is week five, Sunday, October fifth. Okay,
we're going to go to the game and sit all together.
That's section two twenty eight A. We're going to party
in the parking lot before the game, food catered by
Chef Kevin Gilbert, which I'm about to show on the screen.
And you guys get a commemorative T shirt. It has

that frigging menu, for goodness sake. So this is absolutely terrific.

So I'm gonna walk you through and describe all of
the wonderful things that we have here on the menu,
which are absolutely marvelous. Okay, so let's do this. Let's
get into it. So in the top left hand corner
of your menu, you'll see the sliders. These are all
the burgers that are going to be available. A spicy
slider that's a beef slide with melted pepper jack, pepper whiskey, relish,

smoked chipotle mayo on a potato bun. You have a
three cheese slider that's a bee slider with melted Monterey
American cheddar cheese on a potato bun. Again, I mentioned
the Wooties BBQ or barbecue beer slider. It's a beef
slider based with Tank seven barbecue beer sauce, melted age, cheddar,

apple wood smoked bacon top with smoked pulled pork on
a potato bun. My beg Sunday tradition is a beef
slider with the sunnyside up, quail egg, apple would smoke bacon,
American cheese on a potato bun. We also have hot
dogs available at this tailgate. Spicy Pig that is a
griddled hot dog spicy brown mustard, whiskey pepper jam with
a crispy jalapeno diced apple wood smoke bacon on a

toasted pretzo bun. Good Lord have mercy. These are New
York hot dog cart style with New York onion sauce.
Is another option for people if you prefer that. We'll
have several sides available. Garden Salad Chef's Macaroni Salad EAZ
we just mentioned, which, by the way, is bake zd
melted monzarella, shaved parmesan ramano with fresh basil housemade potato chips.

This will be tossed with truffle oil, herbs and parmesan cheese,
while toasted pretzel sticks with beer mustard pops bacon popcorn,
which are dried corn kernels roasted with bacon and glazed
with citrus, agave, diced apple, would smoke bacon top with
dehydrated chili lime dust. Unbelievable. Good lord, I mean, chef

is just terrific. This is our full menu that will
be on it. And if you go to see this
food and you're like, oh my god, I want a
piece of this action again, we only have a couple
of ticket packages left for Jets Cowboys. Try do the
math in my head. Yeah, we've got three or four
packages left. I gotta double check my numbers. We are

may not be going to the Jets Cowboys game with us,

would be Saturday, October fourth. I think what I want
to do is I want to host a meet and

greet for all you guys at Chef Kevin Gilbert's restaurant,
clover Leaf Tavern. So I would love to do that.
I'd love to put those piece together, so if anyone
would have interest, We'll probably have a Google sign up
sheet if you guys would have interest in meeting that night,
because we're gonna need a headcount for that, but we'd
love to meet up at Chef Kevin Gilbert's restaurant the

night before. We get the upstairs room and get to
all meet, chat, talk Jets, and have some great food
from Chef Kevin Gilbert and of course, help support chef

I know you're going to be there at the tailgate,
so you will guys have plan options to choose from
as well. That is true. You will also have water
and select alcohol, so it won't be an open bar,
but you will have water bottles. Those will be available
cold to water bottles, and then there will also be
select alcohol also available for those who choose to dabble.
For those who choose to dabble, Kyle Clifton says, we

have a local guy does a burger with white Vermont
sddar and pepper jam. It's terrific. So there you go.
If you guys want to expand the palette, so to speak,
feel free to do so. So Chef Kevin is killing it.
I love it. And there's only one way to do
this properly with this, you know, with this tailgate, and
Chef was the key piece of the puzzle to do

run a stop and go, and he just stopped and
never goed, and the quarterback pumped and then ripped it
because he believed in his receiver and the oooh intercepted
and the quarterback looks like a looking at it, but

quarterback gets blamed. So no, the context is important. So
