The roster cuts for the New York Jets have already begun.
We'll talk about it and tell you what's next, including
what an insider says will include plenty of surprises. Boy
Green Daily starts now. I'm gonna lose my gash darned bananas.
Boy Green Daily start snap joints.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Boy Buggy Day, Buggy d Buggy.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Let's go, Juy.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Put your seatbelts on, getting ready for the ride. We're
the freaking New York Jets.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
We're built for the ship. What's going on? Every Bye?
I'm Paul Asten Junior aka Boy Green. I'm the New
York Jets digital reporter form. Welcome to Boy Green Daily,

(01:01):
a daily New York Jets video show, also available wherever
you get your podcast. We're here on a Sunday, a
beautiful Sunday. It is August twenty fourth, and we are
on the precipice of the Apocalypto, which is NFL roster
cuts that's coming officially Tuesday, August twenty six, by four o'clock.

(01:22):
Every team in the NFL must reduce its roster from
ninety or ninety one, depending on your roster exemptions, to
fifty three. The Jets have already made their first cuts.
We'll talk about that in just a second, and what
more cuts are to come, including, according to rig Mani
of ESPN, surprises galore, which are always interesting. Now, it's

(01:45):
always important to take a note that me or none
of us in the audience root for players to lose
their jobs or to get cut. It's a very sad
time of year and a harsh reality. It is the
circle of life in the National Football League. Players are
gonna be euphoria and jubilation for making an NFL roster

(02:06):
and their dreams becoming a reality, and others where their
dreams may be coming to an abrupt halt and they
may never play another snap in the National Football League.
That happens every single year, and that's what's gonna happen. Hey.
By the way, I know normally we're joined by NFL
insider Matt Lombard every Sunday. He took the week off.
This week he's got some family stuff going on. He's sick.

(02:30):
So I'm praying and hoping the best for Matt and
hoping he makes a very speedy recovery for him. And please, so,
Matt Lombarter, we're thinking about your pal and please get
well soon. So thinking about that for Matt Lambarter, so
with folks a surprise solo Sunday show, which is all good, babe.
It'll be me in Alau. So we'll open up the

(02:53):
phone lines like twenty or thirty minutes or so, and
we'll bring you on the show, so you guys can
feel free to hopound and we can make it happen.
First off, I see right off the top rope baby
our man mother f bing Chew gifting a Boy Green
Coffee Club membership. Baby. Let's right, this membership went to

(03:17):
Fernando Veles. Welcome to the Boy Green Coffee Club. Shout
out to our boy MFC. It's already been updated on
the scrolling ticker that is now nineteen raffle tickets for MFC.
And by the way, I'm an MFC. Before the end
of the month, you're a dollar away from another raffle
ticket bation on your previous super jet combinations. So I
just want to make sure I got that out into

(03:37):
the ethos. All right, I'll get to your questions, I'll
get your comments, but first let's get to the cuts
that occurred yesterday. Technically, I guess yeah, yeah, yesterday afternoon.
Excuse me, yesterday afternoon I was out at the Great
New York State Fair while the Jets were cutting players.
So I sort of caught up on all this when

(03:59):
I got back late last night. So here it is.
The Jets began cutting their roster down. And again there's
no rules anymore, you know, like back back in the
all day the teams had to cut it from ninety
to seventy five by insert date, and then seventy five
to this number by insert date. That doesn't exist anymore.
It's a massive ritual blood letting. Everyone just has to

(04:21):
beat a fifty three by Tuesday. Some people can start
it now, some people could wait all the way to Tuesday.
We might see some sprinkled in all over the place.
For the Jets, they decided, Hey, these six players, they're out,
and we'll walk through each of them. Cornerback Mario Goodrich,
who the Jets acquired on waivers this offseason. Offensive tackle
Samuel Jackson, motherfucker, ah damn Samuel Jackson. Hate to see it, pal,

(04:48):
hate to see it. Tight end Neil Johnson, wide receiver
Demor Miller. Defensive tackle for Turma Moba or fat orma
and wide receiver Ontario Pokey Ontario Pokey Wilson. Pour one
out right now for Ricky, Yes, yes, please, I see

(05:08):
that immediately from Fox Sports Talk. Poor Ricky, Pokey is gone.
Let's have a moment of silence for Ricky New York
for the release of Ontario Pokey Wilson. Sorry, Ricky, Hopefully
Pokey lands on his feet. That's a toughie, yes, Scotty Mayhem.

(05:32):
Ricky is distraught. I'm curious, So salute to Pokey. We
hardly knew yet Pokey Wilson. Now, obviously none of these
cuts are a surprise. Stimo Jackson kept getting into some
penalty penalty issues that last game, and it's just the
offensive line room this year is a hard, hard group

(05:54):
to crack. Good Rich apparently showed some hood spun special teams,
but just not an enough, not enough work in the
preseason to be able to upset a roster spot. Neil
Johnson again, he was in making this team. Demir Miller,
I'm gonna be honest, I barely even knew that guy
was on the roster, like I knew his name, but

(06:15):
he did a whole lot of nothing during training camp.
So sorry, Demir and then for Torma Molba, who I
was pretty excited about as a UDFA. A great story
if you don't know it, about his journey to America
and his opportunities in the National Football League. But as
soon as the Jets traded for Harrison Phillips, the veteran

(06:38):
nose tackle defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings, and a
Juwan Briggs of the Cleveland Browns, a bunch of these
defensive tackles of the room went oh boy, and it
was over for a lot of them, including for Tomah Molba.
And then we just talked about Ontario Poke Wilson. It
just it just wasn't there. At wide receiver rooms, there's
a lot of a lot of questions to come. These

(07:00):
these cuts were not difficult that are on your screen.
These are the first wave the JETSUS society randomly, Hey
you six boop, you got perhaps more cuts to come today.
At some point they're going to get more difficult. They're
going to get more difficult. The conversation set wide receiver
and thank you Richarmini for that tweet. The conversations at

(07:23):
wide receivers where it gets tough. I think Jamal Pritchett,
the undrafted free agent out of South Alabama, has done
enough to make this roster. I mean, he was a
human joystick in the final preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
I'd like to see Jamal Pritchett make the roster. But
then we start getting into debates about Brandon Smith quit

(07:45):
and Skinner. Is Alan Lazard going to be placed on
some level of r which puts him on a four
week hiatus at some point, which would then open up
a spot at the wide receiver room immediately? Is there
some roster gymnastics to happen here, perhaps, like for instance, right,
So we explain this, but I think it's worth repeating

(08:07):
some of the rules for those who don't know. So
I mentioned every NFL team must cut a trostra from
nineteen to fifty three. That's true by Tuesday, August twenty
sixth at four o'clock. However, when you cut a player right,
and he has less than four years of vested experience
in the National Football League, he is subject to the
waiver wires system, which means if the Jets cut, they're

(08:31):
not going to cut this guy, but Arma Membo. If
the Jets cut Arma Membo, every other team in the
National Football League. So thirty one teams would have a
chance to claim armand Membu and if none of them did,
then the Jets could bring back to the practice squad
or something like that. Now, if a player is a
vested veteran, beyond those four years of experience, you can

(08:52):
cut a player, do some crazy stuff and then bring
him back. For instance, I keep hearing whispers this may
happen within Drew Beck. Andrew Beck is a full back
tight end combination that contributes in a lot of different ways.
But he's a vested veteran. So what that means is
Andrew Beck is a random example would not be subject

(09:13):
to the waiver wire system. So if the Jets do
a wink wink, like they pull Andrew Beck aside and
say hey, buddy, hey, we're gonna we're gonna cut you,
We're gonna place you over here, we're gonna do some
other crazy roster shit, and then we want to bring
you back in like two days. Is that cool? And
now this is unofficial, of course, it's Andrew Beck is

(09:33):
not signing a contract and saying hey, I'm good in
two days. He has to trust that the Jets are
telling him the truth. But sometimes, Hey, the NFL's a
cutthroat business. What if the Jets acquire a better tight
end fullback, They're like, you know what, Andrew Beck, we
don't need you. So again, that's part of the game.
So Andrew Beck doesn't know the Jets. Jets don't know
Andrew Beck, so that could be something we see playouts,

(09:53):
so keep an eye up for that. We saw it
a couple of years ago. The Jets cut Thomas Morstea
and a lot of us went, oh my god, what'd
you cut your starting butter? What the hell are you doing?
And we freaked out. But Thomas Morstead posted on social
media said like, you know, there's a greater play at
play here at something, don't worry. And that's exactly what happened.
They gave a wink win thing. We actually had Thomas
Morstett on for an interview to sort of explain that process.

(10:14):
He didn't want to, he didn't want to do too
much explaining. He wanted to leave the mystery the mystery.
But so that could happen now I see it here.
Let me bring up this comment Grove Pete Grove Pete
three three one six Beck needs to be kept. Do
not mess with him, he chimes in on YouTube. See

(10:35):
because that's the other part too, right. So like, for instance,
when Morstead was cut from the Jets, the Jets had
a wink wing deal with Morstead that we're going to
do some other shit here, but we just need your
roster spot for a second to go do all this
other stuff. Then we all bring you back, I promise.
When Morsteed was cut, he said a bunch of NFL
teams reached out. His agent confirmed it. A bunch of

(10:56):
teams reached out, said hey, fuck the Jets come out
over here. And he respected the handshake agreement he had
with the Jets that he was coming back. So to
go to your point, Grove, if the Jets kind of
andrew back again, I mentioned, they don't owe anything to him. Technically,
he doesn't know anything to them. If another team came
up and said, hey, Andrew back, screw the Jets come

(11:17):
for us, he can say, yeah, Jets, suck on this.
I don't need to be playing any roster games that
could be heading over here. So it could happen, could happen.
But again that's the danger of doing stuff like that
because it's not official when you do those wink wink deals.
I keep saying wink wink because, like you know, the
Jets say, hey, just wait over here for three minutes
and then we'll pick you up. But you can't officially

(11:39):
right then in a contract or anything. So yeah, Jets
Worldwide Wide says you. I'm on the two hundred and
thirty people that are watching the show right now. You
might have forgotten to hit that like button. It's on
your screen on YouTube. He asked you to do it
right now now. Now, we've got two twenty eight people

(12:03):
watching right now the show. Eighty two of them are
on YouTube. Okay, that's interesting because stream yerk can tell
us who's watch and where, which is sort of faceted
and creepy sort of at the same time. So again, Twitter,
twenty eight people are watching the show right now, all right,
we just said that it's two thirty five. It jumps
very quickly. Eighty two of them are watching on YouTube.

(12:24):
Here's the thing that doesn't make sense.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
We have twenty six likes people eighty two people, twenty
six likes. Hit that freaking like button on your screen, baby,
Give it a soup, plex, give it a choke. Slam
from hell and slam it on down. So make sure
you guys hit the like button, baby. It helps get
this jet show in front of others, which we really appreciate.
We're about ninety subscribers away from eight then what. That's

(12:50):
unbelievable and I'm so humbled by that, So thank you everybody.
Hopefully we could get it before the season.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Hopefully we can't get We're about I think I said
ninety eighty something like that. We're ninety. I think it's ninety.
I think we're ninety subscribers away from eight leap in thousand.
That'd be a great number to get to before the season.
So let's see if we could get it. So hit
the subscribe button and certainly hit the like button if
you're watching on YouTube, it helps, yeah, baby. For instance,
I'll tell you guys an embarrassing story real quick. So

(13:19):
I'm all so, first off, let me just say right
off the top that I'm fine with any YouTube like that.
You give me what I mean by that, Like, if
you like the show, of course like the video. If
you hate this show, feel free to like the video.
I'm even fine with a pity like like I don't
even I'm sort of in the middle on this show.
I'm gonna like it anyway. I'll accept that because here's
this right. So we go to the Great New York

(13:40):
State Fair yesterday with my family. I'm celebrating my eleven
year anniversary with my beautiful queen, Tatiana Davis, and where
we're at the fair and she says, hey, Paul, you know,
why don't you go play games like and try to
win shit for the family. Basically, I'm like, I'm a
competitive son of a gun. You're damn right, I'll play
those games. And so I head over to the fair

(14:01):
and there's all these games, like there's an NFL game
where you get a football and you got to be
standing behind a line and throw them to like wide
receiver targets and stuff. I'm like, oh yeah, baby, that's
right up my alley and Shohn, I'm throwing them around
and I'm doing a lot of missing. I'm gonna be honest,
wildly inaccurate, too high, too low. I'm like, what the

(14:21):
world's going on here? These funky balls? Is it? Is? It?

Speaker 6 (14:25):
Me?

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Am I an idiot? What's going on here? And I'm
like wildly missing and all of a sudden I hit one,
I'm like, got my rhyth boom, and then I miss
so wildly inconsistent and here so the game works. It's
like you can, you know, a dollar for this, three
dollars for this, or excuse me, five dollars for a
ball or three balls for ten bucks and all these

(14:46):
other weird deals. And so I don't do what they
need me to do, Like, and there's multiple targets. You
have to hit all the targets at the different places
in the same round, and there's all these rules, and
I obviously did not do it. I screwed the books.
And then the guy goes, hey, buddy, because like I
played around, it didn't happen. I'm like, all right, not
play another run, all right, not play another run an

(15:07):
another player, and I just kept playing arounds and he
just like looked around, said, hey man, just here, just
take the bear. Just take the bear. You spent enough
money here. I have never seen that in my life.
I got a pity bear, a pity bear. It was
a jet bear, which was very nice, a New York
d S Teddy bear I gave to my daughter. But yeah,
I got a pity bear for the first time. I'm

(15:28):
gonna be honest, that felt pretty Uh, that felt pretty
messed up. I went like, good lord, look at me.
I literally just got a teddy bear for trying and
trying horrifically now every once in a while and get
a ball in, thank god, but mostly not. And at
the state Fair, my daughter and son got to watch
your father be a loser and get a pity teddy bear,

(15:51):
which I would have had to hit two of the
three passes targets to achieve that bear, and I did
across like five games, I hit maybe two or three,
So I fucked that one up. But yeah, a pity bear,
which I didn't even know was a thing. That one
made me feel pretty bad. But that's a tweet a
teddy bear for my daughter, So then I got over it.
So AnyWho, that's sort of a weird story to say, Hey,

(16:14):
I'll take a pity like baby. They count all the
same at the end of the day. It's not like
my daughter's gonna be like, hey, dad, what's the origin
story of this New York It's Teddybury. Get me well, honey,
I invested seventy five dollars and trying to win you
that bear. That's probably five dollars, and I was so
horrific the guy felt bad enough to give me one
of the many teddy bears that were sitting there. Hopefully

(16:35):
I never have to tell her that story, and hopefully
she doesn't listen or watch this show in five years. AnyWho,
let's get back to the business at hand here, including
some memberships being gifted from the High Heaven since our boy,
our number one Austrian jet fan Baby, throw them up

(16:56):
on this program. We play video package and I know
that Austrian's ready to start his engine.

Speaker 7 (17:01):
Kevin James, I just got three things to say.

Speaker 8 (17:05):
God bless our troops, God bless America.

Speaker 7 (17:10):
And gentlemen start.

Speaker 1 (17:21):

one hundred and fifty two raffle tickets for a boy,
our number one Austrian jet fan Baby. I'll show you
guys what the prize pack is this month here in
just a moment if you're new to the channel, but
let's read the five new members to the Boy Green
Coffee Club here on the program. We've got in Solon Hey,

(17:44):
Flight Boys, Monkey Underscore, Daboozy, Jet Set Fool and Jay
Bogo you guys around now members to the Boy Green
Coffee Club. Baby, that's what we love to see. That's
what we love to see. So salute to our number
one Austrian Jet fan, baby, And here you go. Here

(18:05):
are the prizes we have this month. If you're new
to the channel, Hello, I'm Paul Lisden Junior aka Boy
Green on the New York Jets, digital reporter for heavy
dot Com. That funky title just means I write articles
about the New York Jets every day and do podcasts
and all kinds of other things, and I enjoy the
hell out of doing the show. I do the show
every single morning at seven thirty am. Plus we do

(18:26):
other shows, some fun interviews over the offseason. We've had
Judy Batistan from the NFL Networks. She was live at
training camp. That was fun. She was at training camp
when we did the interview ESPNNFO insider Jeremy Fowler and
more interviews to come. I'm working on a couple of things.
We'll see how they turn coming up here shortly. But
I'm working on some other things as well. But here

(18:47):
are the prizes that are on your screen. Let's throw
them up. Producer guy behind the scenes there is no producer. Guy,
I'm talking to myself from my many personalities, but that's
neither here nor there. So we've got all these items
on the screen and I'll say them all and then
I'll explain how you can be eligible for these. A
random vintage Jets player T shirt Blasts of the Past.
You're gonna get a T shirt of a New York

(19:09):
Jets player. It's gonna have them featured on the shirt
from the past. They're no longer on the team. It's
kind of a cool new bit I want to do.
Hopefully you guys enjoyed that. A New York Jets Highland
Mint super Bowl three flip coin. This is a gold
coin flashed with twenty four carrot gold. It's a limited
edition Super Bowl coin. It's got the New York Jets,

(19:31):
It's got the Baltimore Colts on it. It is beautiful. Again.
If it was up to me, I guess technically it is,
I would keep this ring or this coin. Excuse me,
so good luck to anyone. I think that's the crown
jewel of this entire giveaway this month. It's super badass.
You have a New York Jets logo athletic Prime Hooey

(19:52):
T shirt brand new out of the package Baby, and
then the Kickoff Kitchen cookbook from super Bowl Chef Tim
Lopez that was donated by Bubba bub Bub bad Shaw.
Those four items a vintage Jets player T shirt, a
Super Bowl flip coin, a Athletic Prime Hoody T shirt
brand new, and a Kickoff Kitchen cookbook from Super Bowl

(20:12):
Chef Tim Lopez which sixty four game day recipes, including
an appetizer and andre for every NFL team, including your
New York Jets. All you have to do to win
all this shit on your screen, to have a chance
at it is to spend three dollars, which is a
lot less than I spent at the Great New York
State Fair on a variety of games that I embarrassed
myself at three bucks. That's all it takes. So gift

(20:35):
a Boy Green Coffee Club membership. If you're watching on YouTube,
there's a little money side at the bottom. Click that
all these options pop up, super chats, superstickers, and gifting
channel memberships. You could gift as many as you'd like.
Every time you give a membership, that's a raffle ticket,
So think about it that way To make it easy,
so they're three dollars a pop. You don't have to
spend it all at the same time. For instance, someone
sends in a five dollars super Chat right now, that

(20:57):
is one raffle ticket, three bucks and then two bucks leftover,
so that means one more dollars. We'll get you another
raffle ticket. As long as you do it before the
end of August, you're eligible. So there are three dollars apiece.
It's very important to me that I make things as
affordable as possible for you, the fans, because you're Without you,
the show is impossible. So I try to give back.

(21:18):
Every single month. We do giveaways on this channel, new
York Jets items, sometimes it's New York Jets tickets. We
do all kinds of crazy things and I hope you
guys vibe with it. So on September one, we will
draw that winner, as we do the first of every
month here on the channel, will describe that, will reveal
the winner excuse me, and then set you up for
the next month's giveaways. So every month that you gift,

(21:41):
we give back to you in the coffee club community.
So those items on the screen as my voice cracks
and I hit puberty at the age of thirty two.
All that happens here on the program. Yes, we'll get
to some more roster questions things of that nature, and
people making joke about my poor showing at the Great

(22:03):
New York State Fair. I appreciate it, Thank you very much,
jets where Wat says the balls were obviously broken. Yeah,
I'm sure it was some fair game. Hopefully that would
make me feel a lot better about it. But yeah, yeah,
a few of them, Like I had one, like so
I hit I was I did two different like football

(22:24):
NFL games. They had jerseys and stuff available to and
on the first football game, I played like it didn't
you didn't have to. So on the second game, you
had to every target and there's three targets. On another
football game, they said, you can hit the same one
five times if we want to. It doesn't matter. You're
not forced to move. So I just want to set
my feet in the pocketway hit one. I'm like, oh, oh, yeah,

(22:49):
I got this, And I threw another one. It went
in and I'm like yeah, and it rejected out and
I'm like what, how was it even possible?

Speaker 6 (22:56):
How did it go in? Then?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Now how much does that count? The guy was like, nope,
gotta stay in the hall, bro, And I would have
won this big ass monster prize, which apparently my daughter wanted.
But then I didn't, so I went to throw again,
and because they weren't in a row, sorry, put you
get a Koala instead of a Pokemont And I'm like, god,
damn it, son of a biscuit, and it went all

(23:20):
over the place. So yeah, on that one, ad per
like I hit my target. I'm probably I don't know,
fifteen twenty yards away. Maybe I don't even know, but
I hit the first one. I'm like, oh yeah, baby.
I threw the second one a freaking tight spiral Crisp
went right inside the little whoop and they went whoop poop,

(23:41):
And I'm like what because it went in and enough
time that it went in and I went and then
it went out. No, don't and god it was. It
was a terrible, terrible So probably some laughs behind me
immediately did not try the funnel cakes. Let me see,

(24:01):
did I try any weird food? I don't think so.
What do we have? We have popcorn, so just normal popcorn.
To get any other food, I don't think so, Because
we packed it around like we went out to eat
before we went to the fair, and then we went
out to eat after the fair. So like, no, I
guess I didn't do anything funky. Normally the best part
is the food. Though the food is normally the best part.

(24:24):
I would have dabbled. I would have dabbled for sure.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
Yeah, I got a little Jets teddy Bear for my daughter.
A New York Jets teddy Bear was there. Again. It
was a pity bear because I didn't do what was
necessary to win it. But that did happen. That's true. Yes, yes,
I did miss this. We also cut Weaver, Mathis and Cooper.

(24:52):
That's true. So a couple of things there, Thank you
NY Jets super fan. This happened a couple of days ago.
Bump Cooper got cut, Rashad Weave was out for the season,
and then Mathis his first names Escaping Me was also gone.
So there are a couple other cuts. J c K.
After the cuts, I expect us at a wide receiver

(25:13):
in a quarterback. Yeah. Now. The good news is, of
course that after the game, Aaron Glenn said that Tala
Tao is gonna He's confident, he's gonna be ready for
the season opener. That's not the same tone they had earlier.
They were like, we're hopeful, and I'm like, oh, that
sounds higher registering hopeful. That doesn't sound good at all.
And you know that sort of had me worried, like
are we gonna have to go get another quarterback or

(25:34):
what's going on here? But you know he's confident he's
gonna be good now. But maybe still at another quarterback
as a veteran, I'll be curious because it takes two
to tango. Of course, just because you want to sign
somebody doesn't mean they have to sign with you. So
would a quarterback be cool be in the QB three
on maybe the practice squad? Like pride? Right? We just
talked about pride, right, some people are like, oh god,

(25:56):
a pity bear. I don't want that, Like they're too
prideful for that. Apparently I'm not, but some people are.
And a quarterback, like I keep people, I keep seeing
people talk about Carson Wentz. He might have already been
signed as a matter of fact, but let's use Carson
Wentz as an example. Like people say that name, that
may be a guy if he's still AVAILABLEY, I don't know,

(26:18):
I have to catch up on all the NFL news
I might have missed while I was at the State
Fair yesterday. But like he's got maybe too prideful for
that role. Like he's like, I'm either going to be
in the league or I'm not. I'm not gonna be
in a practice squad. So that's something to note. You say,
Jack a wide receiver, one hundred percent of wide receiver
would make a lot of sense. I would say, tight end.

(26:39):
Jeremy Rucker, you better have your head on a swivel, boy,
because the Jets are going to be looking under every
gosh Darren Rock for a tight end, and if they
can claim one, I don't. If the roster has constructed,
I think Jeremy Rucker makes it. Unfortunately, because there's no
one else on the roster, it has taken his gig. However,
it's not that way. We've got waivers coming up on

(27:00):
from Tuesday late afternoon evening to Wednesday morning are waivers.
So yeah, yeah, there is there's more to come there.
So Jeremy Rucker, this is a warning, pal, keep your
gosh darn head on a swivel, because the Jets get
a good enough tight end your ass is grasped, Buddy.
I would also say, again we mentioned quarterback, that's something

(27:22):
to watch. Wide receiver to your point, for sure, a
quarterback would certainly make sense. We talked about that defensive
tackle is probably good. Edge rusher. Edge rusher is another one.
I would say, watch for waivers for sure. What else?
What else? What else? Corners pretty deep safety maybe, but
like you know the guys, they sort of have Tony Adams,

(27:45):
Andre Cisco, you know, Malachi Moore, Isaiah Oliver. That foursome
is pretty locked in. Is there room for a fifth maybe,
I guess. But because Dean Clark has had good moments
and terrible and so he had the mistackle on the
Packers running back that would have been a nine yard
game that ended up being a forty yard touchdown. But

(28:06):
he's also had picks and sacks and stuff all over
the place, and they've paid a decent chunk of change
to him in terms of guaranteed money. So Dean Clark
is an interesting case. He's had high highs and very
low lows in the preseason, so I'm curious if they
feel confident about him or do they find another safety
out there. So we'll see a lone through linebacker in
there on top of everything. I just said, sure, yeah,

(28:27):
off ball linebacker could be a case. They seem to
really like Jamine Davis. You obviously have the top two
guys of Quincy and Jamien, and they just drafted Keiko
aka Francisco Mawingoa. I would imagine he's there to stay.
So that's four deep. Do they have a fifth? Is
that one of their boys that already have like Marcelina
mcquarie ball or Zire Barnes or to Elon's point, is

(28:52):
there another linebacker they could add to shake up the unit? Maybe?
And as Fox Sports Talks says, maybe let's help Paul
get to eight K smash the like bund subscribe reminder
Bell for all the videos. That's true, appreciate your Foxy
Thank you, Jo Holmes BG. Were you tall enough to
ride the rides? I could confidently say no comment because

(29:16):
I didn't attempt to get on any ride, so you can't.
You can't prevent me from going on if I don't
even try a You gotta be thinking next level people,
next level So who even knows? Maybe I was, maybe
I wasn't, but the world will never know. Yeah, bastards.
But I do not like roller coasters, So you know,

(29:38):
I'm glad that mommy said I couldn't go on that one. Yeah.
I could see Beg lining up to the measuring line. Yeah, yeah,
I could have. That's true for sure, Mister Fulton was
some big news. All Right, we'll have the uh, we'll

(30:03):
have the phone launch open here in a few moments,
and I guess we'll be able to call it. And
why jet super fits this, Paul, sounds like you got
scammed at that fair. I one thousand percent did. I.
I went to the ATM because so my fiance says, hey,
why do you get some money for the games? Because
it's cash. I'm like, all right, most of it's cash.
And I'm like all right, and I'm like, how much

(30:24):
money is a good amount of money for the fair?
Because I didn't like see the games and see how
much of worse. I'm not got to know one hundred
and twenty bucks maybe, Okay, you know, we hadn't done it.
We hadn't to the point, we hadn't gotten a lot
of crazy fair food or anything. So I said, all right,
we're going to spend some let's do it for the games.
And try to see if I can, you know, spend
one hundred twenty dollars and win like two dollars bears,
so like why not? So I got like one hundred

(30:45):
and twenty bucks out and oh my god, that money lit
on fire so quickly it's not even funny. I applied
this one bingo game with a bouncy ball, and I
was awful. And it's like one dollar game, so like
it's sort of deceiving, right, one dollar brats, one dollar,
one dollar, one dollar one. I was making it rain
like it was a strip club or something. One one one,
but bingo bingo, bingo, bingo bingo and everyone else kept winning.

(31:07):
I'm like what in the world? And I kept getting closed,
like right here, right here, right here, I'm the son
of a gun, so lit up there. I did not
play the basketball game. I played the football game a
couple of times, and I played some other random game.
I can't even remember what it was. It wasn't like
the metal things with the baseball and he got to
knock them all over. I didn't play that one. Didn't
do the balloon one, so I definitely did the bingo.

(31:28):
Did a couple of different NFL football games. But regardless
of the games, I did my money lit on fire immediately.
I went, Wow, that was quick. And then I'm like,
all right, I guess I'm done. All right, let's leave
the fair kids. So Scotty Mayhem's's Tommy Cutlet's is coming.
Maybe it'll be Tommy. I know it's very important to Tommy.
Uh to stay in this area. It's very important to Tommy.

(31:49):
So maybe that works out for him, but I'm not
sure to be certain. Uh YouTube super yeah coming in here, baby,
appreciate it every time I get a super chat here
for my daughter's Raylana. Ever all though heyesus with a

(32:09):
two dollars super chat, Thank you so much, Buddy boy
Green right before church is perfect. That's right, baby, right
before Lord's Day. It is absolutely perfecto the perfect way
to do it. By the way, Buddy, appreciate that. Thank
you for sending in that super chet. You're one dollar
away from another raffle ticket to just keep that in mind. Again,

(32:30):
you can do that at any point at any point
to hear during August, So just keep that in mind,
all right, keep that in mind as we're doing this.
I just want to make sure I have it on
my Bingo card here for you Everaldo, but thank you
so much for sending that along.

Speaker 9 (32:46):
Baby.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Yes, sir boom shaka laka, Yes, so your dollar way
again just before the month of August ends. I feel
free to send that along. But thank you for the
superchat pow love super chats. All right, we're about to
open up the phone lines here in a second. Yeah,
the atm because like, right, so you go through the
whole process, right, So number one, I'm an idiot for

(33:11):
getting my money drawn at the fair because they charge
unbelievable atmvs. So like you know, you go like, hey,
I would like one hundred dollars and it's like, hey,
would you want a twenty dollars service fee? It's not
that much, but I'm just oper exaggerating. I'm like, sure,
I guess, Like what is my other choice? Like I'm
those bastards got me by the ball some trap, I guess.

(33:32):
And so, yes, that was a dumb decision. I will
tell you My fiance has had us pretty figured out.
She packed a cooler and I carried it, but she
packed the cooler and then that got food and drinks.
You're allowed to bring that kind of stuff there, so
you don't have to spend the crazy money. So good
on her. She had us totally prepared, she had is
totally totally prepared. All right, baby, we got four hundred

(33:53):
people in the room. Like the video hit subscribe. The
Jets have made their first roster cuts again, throw this
up here on the screen, the majority of them. As
someone else did mention, there were roster cuts that the
uh this week as well, beyond these ones, but they
were earlier in the week. But those did happen, So
I appreciate the reminder for that one with Shot Weaver. Again,
he was out for the season due to an injury anyway,

(34:14):
but yes, he also was removed from the pile along
with these six. So more cuts to come. Uh, they
could come as early as today and others as well.
We'll see what happens again. Let's do this. Let's play
quick epsong your phone calls next here on Boy Green Daily.
Let's go all of Green, budud.

Speaker 8 (34:36):
Hoping, Jets Football Man, Bare Budging.

Speaker 10 (34:42):
Day, Budgy Day, Buggy d the Ad, Just Football Hub, Steve,
the special Geez watched Jets football went by Green Jay
Gee Gee, Let's go.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
You know I'm looking forward to that song being played
at the Jets Cowboys tailgate. It's gonna be unbelievable. I
know it. And speaking of that debt too, I cannot
believe we're like six weeks away from that thing. That
is uh, it just hit me that it's just starting
to hit me. Like in five days, I've got my

(35:26):
live fantasy draft at a bar that I'm gonna be
like hosting, entertaining and then doing the draft, and I'm like, whoa,
that's gonna be huge. The season opener Jets Steelers excuse me, Like,
oh my god, that's right, that's the next game that
Jets played, Like that's wild to me, and then of
course Jets Cowboys. But once you get into the season,
things are moving and grooving, baby. So I'm just trying
to enjoy it all because we have a lot of

(35:47):
fun stuff coming and an awesome community. I can't wait
to meet plenty of you for the first time in person.
And one of those top people on the list is
this guy. Help. Let's go to the phone lines. What's up?
Have good Morne, Hey, Fellaws, Hey, Paul.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
I just need we have to figure out if a
car has a plug something.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Well into I think this is going to work. We'll
see what happens is and I want to give a
big shout out here. Let me make sure I give this.
I don't know how much I've talked about it on air,
so let me see. Let me have this. I have
this lou By the super Jets fan I mentioned he
is uh oh, yeah, he put it on the WhatsApp. Yeah.
He mentioned that this is called the Sprinter and he

(36:34):
has this b Sprinter. So it looks like this big
mini van, but the back of it opens up as
a DJ booth and it's coming out as speakers and everything.
So I believe you're gonna be able to plug right
into their hap and you'll be able to play your stuff.
So again, I want to give a massive shout out
to lou b at something. But I'm sure costs hundreds
and thousands of dollars to rent. He is donating it

(36:56):
because he loves the Boy Green Coffee Club the event.
I know, that's what I said. I'm like, are you sure, man,
I'm like, that's your business. I don't want to know.
We got to do this. I'm like, all right if
you say okay. So he's pulling that sucker up and
I imagine that that is where you'll be able to
plug right in.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
I was getting ready to bring my little lamp and
a little table. I was wondering, if you manchild and
you what are you are going to do little mini
shows at.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
A good question. The good news is that to the
Sprinter's point, the thing that lou Bi is bringing, this
beast of a vehicle, he will have Mike's plug in,
so like it'll be able to work in with music
and stuff, so we'll be able to do at a
minimum pa entertaining from that perspective, but yeah, that would
be fun to do, like some kind of a showy
kind of thing. So maybe we could prepare something. I'll

(37:43):
have to see like how that'll work, but that would
be a lot of fun. I love doing shows.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
Okay, Well, on a little different note, one of our family,
Lane Train, he had called into Connor's filling in for
Jake because Jake's over in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Oh yes, right right, So.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Connor is who's growing up right in front of our eyes,
which is strange it Yeah, and Lane called up and
he said, oh, I have some news. You know, Lane's
a little on the spectrum, I think, and he goes
and he goes, my dad died two days ago and
he had a heart attack, and you know, I just
felt so bad for the guy, you know, and I'm

(38:21):
wondering if you really understand what's going on. I just
wanted to send out some love to Lane if he's
watching or something like that. And I know where you're at.
But I lost my dad not so long ago, and
we're praying for you.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
But well, thank you for sharing that message. And Lane,
of course we're all thinking about your buddy. You've called
in a handful of times to boy Green daily, which
we appreciate, prayers up and have obviously you know this
as what you just were vulnerable enough to share yourself,
and you've shared that a few times. I can't even imagine,

(38:55):
Like some people say, no I know what you mean.
No I don't. I have no idea what you mean.
And what an unimaginable loss. So Lane, and I'm seeing
it in the comments section. We have an amazing community
prayers up. Man, that's an awful loss. And I hope
you're doing okay, buddy, because you're not. It's quite frankly
you're not doing okay. No one would be doing okay

(39:15):
with that situation. But we're all thinking about you, man,
so hep, thanks for Sharon. I did not hear that.
S all right, there you go, there's hep joined us
here on the show. Oh what an unimaginable loss. I'm
so sorry, Lane Train. Wherever you are, buddy, we're thinking
about your pal, and our love and thoughts are sent
out to you. That's not going to fill the void, obviously,

(39:39):
but hopefully it just helps a little that we're thinking
of you. HEP. Thank you for sharing. I had not
heard that. Like I said, I'm sort of all over
the place. I know Jake's out in Vegas on the
Manchucho Boy Green Digital, we do a weekly interview with
Jake and he was just about to head on his
Vegas trip when we talked to him before he dipped out.
So good for Connor man. Maybe we'll run into Connor

(40:00):
and then we're gonna see the singular bars where he's
up here and I'm down here. So apparently everyone keeps
telling me that's what happened. That's gonna be very weird
because I just see Connor's head in my brain and
it being on this very tall body is a hard
thing for my little peanut brain to picture. But in
all seriousness again, lane lane, lane, lane, lane, lane, train Baby,
we're thinking about you. All right, let's go to the

(40:23):
phone launch here again. We've got the four hundred and
twenty seven people in the room. Make sure you guys
like the video. Hit subscribe. We've got a hundred of
those four hundred and twenty seven people on YouTube watching
right now, which we appreciate. That is the optimal way
to enjoy Boy Green Daily here on the program. Appreciate you.
We have sixty six likes, but one hundred people in
the room. Guys, don't be afraid of it. Don't be
afraid of it. Hit that like button baby. It helps

(40:45):
spread this jet show in front of others. Okay, so
let's keep it rolling, all right, let's go back to
the phone lunch. Mister famous Fulton is here.

Speaker 11 (40:53):
Well, good morning, Paul.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Oh, good morning, sir. I heard you have good news
to share.

Speaker 11 (40:58):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
So.

Speaker 11 (41:00):
We were supposed to have a softball game yesterday, but
the other team didn't have enough players, so they forfeited
and we won a game and we are heading to
our state back to back champion game on September the sixth.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Wow congratulations, buddy, that's amazing.

Speaker 6 (41:22):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
I'm scared of you guys, that's why. Yeah, they're scaredy cats,
a bunch of scaredy cats.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
Yep.

Speaker 11 (41:32):
And I also have other news. I'm auditioning for singing
in the Rain and the song I'll be singing is
That's for Me from the State Fair in nineteen forty five.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Wow. What a classic. Yeah, how did you come to
that choice?

Speaker 12 (41:54):
Well, one of my friends helped me with it, and
they said, oh, I think you might like to do
that song, and I said, yeah, I would.

Speaker 11 (42:07):
I love to do it. I love to try to
get that main part with Don Lox or something.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
Okay, yeah, that's that's sweet. So let me ask you
real quick, mister famous, as we have you here on
the screen, is where did you get those shades? Because
those are looking pretty cool.

Speaker 8 (42:27):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (42:28):
I got those at the state Fair in Indiana.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Oh wow, we were just talking about state fairs. Okay.
I like the cut of the Jim Man because people
are saying that, do you know who Brian Bosworth is,
mister famous?

Speaker 4 (42:40):
I'm not sure If I do not, I'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Throw this up on the screen. Here's a picture. This
is Brian Bosworth. You're bringing and it's a good thing. Yeah,
I like it. I like the cut of your Jim Pal. Yeah,
you're bringing some boz energy. This is very nice.

Speaker 11 (42:57):
Yep, it's like we're going back to the nineties or something.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Yeah, I know I missed the Boss. I missed the
hair and the shades. Well, congratulations and all the great news,
mister famous Fulton. We have been hearing about every chapter
of your journey here on the show.

Speaker 12 (43:15):
Yep, we'll let you know if we went on a
champion and hopefully you guys can watch the videos and stuff.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Well maybe they even show up. Maybe they're scared too,
I would be Yeah, that could happen. That could happen,
mister Famous Fulton. Thanks brother, thank you. There he is
the Boz Baby, the boz unbelievable baz energy. Oh yeah,
Brian Bosworth, what a callback. I saw that. That's immediately

(43:44):
what I thought me and who said it to? Someone
else said it here in the in the chat too,
Uh where was it? Who else said? Boz? I saw
it and I thought of two things. Yep, look so
Jo Homes, said Fulton, looking like the bos. I thought
about that, but I will be honest, the first person
I thought of was Brett the Hitman Heart and Fox

(44:05):
Sports Talk. So I saw you said that to Foxy.
That's immediately the first one. I went like, Brett Hitman,
the Heart, the Besterer was the best there is and
the besser ever will be. And I also went bos
in my head. Those were the first two names that
came up. So shout out to you Holmes, and shout
out to Fox Sports Talk, Foxy, Stephen Fox unbelievable, great energy,
mister famous Fulton. And you know, Alan says, how in

(44:28):
the hell did Fulton find the show? I don't know,
but I'm glad you did, mister famous Fulton. Thank you.
The internet is a far and wide reaching place. We
get all kinds of people here on the show, which
is awesome. So we've got a lot of great fans
of this program that are Jet fans are not, which

(44:48):
I really appreciate. So thank you Boz and Brett Hart
Energy beautiful. Okay, we have almost five hundred people in
the room like the video hit subscribe. Let's go back
to the phone lines. One of the hottest rising Jets
content creators in the universe that is on an absolute
heater a meteoric rise. I read in the Rolling Stones

(45:09):
Ricky New York Live. Grace is us with his presence
right now in the show what's up.

Speaker 13 (45:12):
Brickade, what's happening Paul?

Speaker 1 (45:16):
And not much? Not much.

Speaker 13 (45:20):
Just rolled in from work a minute ago.

Speaker 14 (45:22):
And well, I guess in the next forty eight hours
we're going to find out who are fifty three is.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
But I want to apologize right off the top, Rickie,
we gave you a moment at the beginning of the
show over this one of the cuts was unfortunately Ontario
Pokey Wilson, and we did give you. We did give
you a moment of silence at the beginning of the show.
So I just want you to know that that we
handled that with the utmost respect and care.

Speaker 13 (45:52):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 14 (45:55):
You know, he didn't even he didn't even really get
very much playing time in that Philly game, So.

Speaker 13 (46:03):
I I knew just from that.

Speaker 14 (46:06):
That, uh, you know, that was gonna be the outcome there.
But uh, hey, you know what, to Feely got himself
a touchdown though.

Speaker 1 (46:14):
Oh my goodness, Yeah he shot some pop so good
for him.

Speaker 3 (46:17):
Man.

Speaker 14 (46:18):
Yeah, he's he's a good kid too.

Speaker 4 (46:22):
Uh However, mhm Uh.

Speaker 14 (46:27):
It's a different seminal that I'm worried about right now.

Speaker 13 (46:30):
Uh, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 14 (46:33):
The Patriots released Jaheim Bell, the tight end. Yeah uh yeah,
I feel like he would be an upgrade on Rucker,
like right now, you know that, not not to mention
you know him knowing their playbook, uh you know, having

(46:54):
played but made last year so you know a little
extra at and bonus, but uh is like a player now.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yeah, yeah, I thought he was your rookie last year.
I couldn't remember, okay, jam Bell yeah yeah.

Speaker 14 (47:10):
Yeah, yeah he was a rookie. Uh yeah, he came
out the same year. Uh you know, or when we
drafted Jordan Travis and uh, ke.

Speaker 13 (47:21):
Coleman went.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
Right right right now, which was he was.

Speaker 13 (47:27):
In that same draft class. But I'll tell you what.
Uh he had like.

Speaker 14 (47:34):
A rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, uh against LSU
when when when Jaden Daniels was still there nice and
uh but I'll tell you what that. Yeah, And I
was at the one game and that was the game

(47:55):
where like Keon Coleman, it was his first game and
he caught three touchdowns in that game and like that
game was pretty much you know, already out of hand,
like we were going to win that game anyway, and
then rahem Bells touchdown just kind of put put the
nail on the coffin there. But I'll tell you what
he he stemmed like he was going to block this guy,

(48:18):
and he like sold it so good that like, like
the whole defensive backfield just ignored him like they and
he ended up taking off. And the way he sold
that was was sweet. Like and I think he ran
like the the third fastest forty out of all the

(48:39):
tight ends that year too, like athletic dude. So uh
and and like I said, they you know, you could
use him in a lot of different ways too. So
I'm thinking a creative guy like Engstrom would would have
a blast with something like that.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
Again, I said it at the beginning of the show,
Ricky that you know, if the Jets do nothing at
tight End, nothing more like whoever's on the rosters on
the roster, and they're making their cuts on that. I
think unfortunately Jeremy Rucker makes it. However, if the Jets
are doing their homework, I'm the waiver wire that is
coming today. If anyone gets cut to your point, like
a Jahean Bell or over the coming days, I think

(49:18):
Rutgers asses grass man, I think you're gonna be able
to find someone of the eleven hundred players that are
about to hit the free agent pool of waiver wire
or vested veteran that's got to be an upgrade either
as a block or a receiver. And again, to your point,
maybe a young guy with upside like Jahane Bell would
check that box works for me. Whoever it is, like,
let's shuffle the deck here a little bit, because obviously

(49:39):
it hasn't worked right.

Speaker 13 (49:42):
Yeah, I completely agree. I completely agree.

Speaker 14 (49:46):
But you know, I feel like I have a pretty
good idea which of our guys are gonna make it
so for me right now? Like, yeah, I guess, uh,
I'm waiting for the final wave of free agency uh
on Tuesday, So.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
I want to see.

Speaker 14 (50:08):
I mean, because there's always whether it's ends up being
a cap related thing or or you know whatever. Uh,
there's always you know, a few good players, you know,
and a few surprising ones too that that end up
getting cut loose every year. So I don't know, it's
just you know what I could even I could even

(50:31):
get by with our tight ends and receivers how they are.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
But but give me into the season not making any changes.

Speaker 14 (50:40):
Yeah, I mean I would still I would like to.
But if we didn't, I could live with that. But
you got to give me. You got to give me
an end.

Speaker 13 (50:49):
You got to. You gotta give me one defense.

Speaker 1 (50:53):
Whether it's trade or waivers. A thousand percent agree. I
thought that before there was Shad Weaver out for the
season injury news, but I feel it even more now, like, boy,
you need to you need to get another significant body
in here. And again that could come be a way.
There's a lot of ways. The season still, whatever it
is two weeks away, there's there's a lot of ways
to do it. But boy, you gotta gotta quick. Got

(51:13):
that quick?

Speaker 13 (51:15):
Yep, absolutely all right, man.

Speaker 1 (51:18):
Give a plug real quick. Ricky to your again your
buzzing channel. I think I read about it. I was
at the magazine, you know, I was at the on
the on the corner. I'm like, well, it's Ricky New
York guy, buzzing trending, you know, you.

Speaker 9 (51:30):
Know, uh, okay, so yeah, Ricky New York Live and
the next stough would be this coming Saturday.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
And did I read it correct? Ricky did I read
it correct that you said you have a lot of
big guests coming, but you're gonna wait for the regular
season to unveil this star lineup. Did I read that
in the paper? Correct?

Speaker 3 (51:54):
I've I've talked. I've talked to a.

Speaker 14 (51:56):
Few people and uh, all right, you know had I've
had a couple of people say yeah, they would like
to come on, and then a couple of other people that,
you know.

Speaker 13 (52:09):
I'm kind of working out scheduling stuff.

Speaker 1 (52:12):
But uh, YouTube channel people, Ricky New York Live on
YouTube looking up right now and hit that subscribe button.
But go ahead, Ricky.

Speaker 14 (52:22):
Yeah, Like I when I really started thinking about it,
I was like, man, you know what, Uh, I I
get so fired up and ready to go and uh,
you know, I enjoyed, you know, making content and yeah,
but I thought about it. I was like, man, you know,
I don't want to burn through my entire guest list

(52:46):
before the season even starts, you know, when we're when
we're kind of you know, scratching for something to talk.

Speaker 13 (52:53):
About on some days.

Speaker 14 (52:56):
And so yeah, I sat back thought about it for
I was like, you know what, let's let's just go
ahead and wait.

Speaker 13 (53:04):
And uh, but you know what, we're We're not far
away at all.

Speaker 9 (53:09):
No, right there, yeah, what do we uh, let.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
Me check my days here, that's what I said that
seven Yeah, like two weeks from today, right yeah, yeah, yeah,
so two weeks so holy shit, I didn't even realize
that until just now and you brought it up. Yeah,
two weeks from today. Is the Judge Dealers season up?
Or that's wild?

Speaker 6 (53:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (53:31):
The schedule I work is so rough, like you know,
because like when I went to work at Saturday and
when I get home from work at Sunday, like you know,
so it's trippy, and you know, doing that day after
day with you know, maybe four to five hours sleep
each each night, and then do it again, like like
after a while, the day is all kind of start

(53:51):
to bleed together.

Speaker 13 (53:53):
But uh, you know.

Speaker 14 (53:55):
That's why when I get my days off, I take
the first day to rest and recover in the second
day the day.

Speaker 1 (54:00):
For there you go.

Speaker 14 (54:02):
That's a good but yeah, so uh yeah, next show
would be Saturday at eight pm, which my shows are always.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
Eight pm, okay, regardless.

Speaker 13 (54:12):
If it's a Thursday or a Saturday.

Speaker 6 (54:14):
But I love that, all right.

Speaker 13 (54:17):
I appreciate you, Paul Man.

Speaker 14 (54:18):
Thank you so much. And have a great day. And
everybody have a great day, and I will see.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
You this week.

Speaker 1 (54:26):
There is Ricky New York climate again. Another moment of
silence for Ricky new York. He lost Pokey Wilson. Thank you,
Pokey Wilson, gone but not forgotten. Hopefully land on your feet,
Pokey Wilson. We'll be thinking about your pal. We have
five hundred people in the room with an agne video

(54:48):
hit subscribe as rich s I mean he said on
social media there quote there will be surprises you just
talking about the roster cuts always happens with the new regime. Again,
there's so much we don't know. There's so much we
can study, there's so much we can observe, but there's
still so much we don't know. How many wide receivers
do they like to keep, how many defensive backs, how

(55:08):
many defensive tackles, how many offensive linemen. We don't know
the answer to any of these questions. There's no history.
Aaron Glenn's never been a head coach. Jerrymudgie has never
been a general manager. It's all speculation, Like the Lions
sort of did this, the Broncos sort of did this.
When Moujie was there, you know, like at the idea,
we're connecting dots. I'm not sure, but Rich to me
guarantees that surprises are among us and they're coming again.

(55:31):
I think the positions to watch in terms of surprises
like wide receiver, Which wide receivers do they like? Quit
and Skinner, Brandon Smith, Ramal Pritchett, like which one is
it going to be up in the air? Potential for
trades or other conversations? Where's that going to go? I
don't know. Tight end circle that one edge rusher, yes, apparently,
as Alan pointed out, minebacker depth, all right, you can

(55:51):
sell me. I'm not sure safety whoa what's going on there?
Is there a fifth safety to be had? Quarterback situation obviously? Yeah? Yeah, Quarterbacks.
I don't know what's going on there. Running backs? If
Isaiah Davis has hurt more than we think, is there
a spot that running back? Is it Donovan Edwards? Isn't
somebody else? I don't know. It's a good question. I
saw Alans bringing up Alan azard that it's time. Let

(56:13):
me see if I can bring that comment up here
on the program. Yep, there it is. Let's throw this
up on Alan Tizard. Okay, now, Zach Rosenblatt said, likely
that alan Zard will end up on that short term
i R, which would kick him out excuse me for

(56:34):
the first four weeks of the season to a launch
point you get just straight up cut him, of course
and move on. And here was his comment in full
cutlass art. It is time. What is he really going
to tell the Steelers? They know we're going to run
the ball? Yeah, I guess so, but just still, like anything,
It's not like he's going to tell them misinformation, right,

(56:55):
Like everything he tells them will be accurate information of
tendencies from entering strain and all kinds of things. It
could be a brain drain. So I don't think it's
worth it. Again, if you want to trade him somewhere,
like you trade him to the Vikings or something, because
we've heard those rumors, Like, so be it. I wouldn't
cut Lizard because boy for the Steelers immediately pick him
up just for the information, Like why give the Steers

(57:17):
any kind of advantage. So maybe that's just the superstition
in me, but yeah, that part makes me a little nervous. Hey,
if they put Lizard in the game, he drops balls
for them, phenomenal in that sense what he does here.
But yeah, I'm a little I'm a nervous purpose for
that possibility. Maybe I shouldn't be. But again, if he's

(57:39):
likely going the short term, I ar, then he's gonna
be out for the first four weeks. Anyway, I'm curious.
Can you play the roster game? Can you put him
on the short term? I r And then he's out
for the first four weeks, and then cut him and
he's still out for the first four weeks that I
don't know. If you can, then's sweet. Then you sort
of cryogenically lock his ass so he can't play for
the Steelers. But I guess they could still pick him
up either, so maybe it's the same difference. That's true.

(58:06):
Jets war Wide says, that's the only rule about boy
Green daily, and there's only one rule. As we hit
the like button as soon as we walk in, So
just make it a part of your routine. I agree. Again,
I don't like every video that I'm watching, so I
got to be better about it too. So again, it's
a thing that you don't even think about. But the
like bund's right there on the screen. It helps get
this jet show in front of others. That's how we expand, right,
and a lot says, hell in the hell did mister

(58:28):
famous find this show? Well, likely from a lot of
you guys liking the video and it just popping up
in the seat. It's like, what the hell is this?
And then bu yeah, we get a fan, so it's
pretty cool. Fox Sports Talk says, I hope we get
a sixth for Lizard. I hope we get anything for Liizard.
I'll player for player, swap seventh, sixth or whatever, it
doesn't matter to me. That'd be great if we could

(58:48):
get literally anything, anything at all, because what an awful experience.
That has been awful. Speaking of jets war wide wide
wide there from MFC, appreciate you. What a fun show, everybody,
a very fun show. Five hundred and twenty one people
in the room right now. We appreciate you. A couple

(59:10):
of shoutouts here again. Every time you give three dollars
on this channel, it can be supercheck, Superchets, memberships, all
the above. All of these items on your screen are
up for grabs baby, for this month, and then we'll
put together the next giveaway. I already have a bunch
of items pre prepared. They're sitting in front or behind
rather this camera. I've got a bunch of cool new

(59:31):
merch that's ready to go for our next giveaway in
the month of September to get you guys ready for it.
So really appreciate you. By the way, something I want
to do real quick, some I want to do very quickly.
Here is I'm going to throw my email up on
the screen. Okay, it's right here. Here's my email. It's
my first name, middle initial, last name, jar at gmail

(59:52):
dot com. So this is my full email, Paul A
esd e at jgmail dot com. Some of you have
ex pressed interest before in so we've got fifty nine people.
I believe it's the official number of people that are
actually sitting with us at the game, and some of
you have expressed previous interest in. Hey, for the people

(01:00:13):
that are going, they want to sit by my dad,
if that is true out there in the universe, anyone
that is coming to our game and they wanted to
sit by Pop during to think, but I know there
was a few people reach out to me because I
and I know a few people want to compete for it,
and there's only one spot to sit at because his
wife and children will be sitting to the other side
of him. So if you guys are interested, reach out asap,

(01:00:35):
because one of the things we want to do is
we want to dole out tickets. I want to start
transferring these tickets so you guys have them. The last
order of business is just figuring out who's sitting next
to my dad, and I wanted to leave that spot
available for somebody, and probably what we'll do is a
donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, which is his raffle
going on, which I'll throw up here on the screen

(01:00:57):
here in just a minute. Probably whoever that we'll get
the seat next to my Pop, because like I said,
we want to dole out these tickets and that would
be really cool for my dad. So, if you guys
are out there in the universe, I know, I think
Indy was one of them. I had someone else emailed
me about interest in a few others. If you guys
do have interest in sitting next to Pop, you're sitting
with us at the game already, because that's a prerequisite.

(01:01:18):
I don't have any more tickets to sell. But if
you guys are already committed to those tickets and you
wanted to sit next to my pop. Yeah, Indy, so
I see Indy. I remembered Indy being one of the
people that were interested. Please reach out via email, although
now I know that Indy's in so I guess he
doesn't have to, but anyone else that's in our group
that wanted to let me know, We'll try to find

(01:01:40):
a way to set it all up so you can.
There's only one seat, so I only have one to offer,
but we'll see if we could work something out. Because
people were saying, hey, can I bid on it? Can
I do this? Can I do this? I think if
we do something for the Wounded Warrior Project, that would
be the coolest way to hand out or dole out
this ticket. So if you guys do are interested beyond Indie,

(01:02:02):
I know India is that's at least one person. I
thought there was a few others that reached out, but
I've now lost track after all these months of ticket sales,
so I'm not exactly sure who else is on that list.
But if you are interested, please email me and say
WHOA Baul I'm interested, and then we'll try to figure
out a fair way that you guys can all doll
let out to figure it out, so that is p
A U L A E S D E n Jrgmail

(01:02:23):
dot com. And we'll try to figure out that's the
last piece of the puzzle and then all the tickets
will be transferred here shortly for all those that are
paying attention and real quick, I plug the hop on
Pop Wounded Warrior Project fifty to fifty Raffle. Fifty percent
of the proceeds goes to the Wounded Warrior Project. Fifty
percent of the proceeds goes to you, the individual who
wins this. We're going to draw this at our tailgate live.
The raffle tickets are a dollar piece, people, a singular dollar,

(01:02:47):
and you have a chance. But this sol for charity,
so consider that and hopefully you guys can grab even
more money than that. Please note that any money spent
on this channel, super Chat, superstick or stuff like that
is not towards this raffle. It is a separate raffle.
The only way to submit raffle tickets to my father's
Wounded Warrior Project raffle is you have venmo or PayPal.
Please keep that in mind. It is at Paul hyphen

(01:03:09):
Esden on Venmo or at hop on Pop twenty two
on PayPal Venmo Paul hyphen Esden PayPal hop on Pop
twenty two with that big logo on the top right
hand side of the screen is your profile picture that
you're looking for, shades, beard, spiky hair. That is him?
All right, thank you for that. All right, let's go

(01:03:32):
to the phone lines here, you know, and I love
that this man has a utilized the power that's in
front of him to come on the show even when
it's not his written day. It is Bob Lederer, our
Jet's historian, joining us here on the show. What's up, Bob?

Speaker 6 (01:03:51):
Well, I'm sorry. I know your dad's not listening today
because he said yesterday he wasn't going to be able
to be but I have to. I'm calling it to
apologize to Indy.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
Indy oh wow.

Speaker 6 (01:04:03):
Okay, because Indy told us a couple of weeks ago
when I honestly asked him, you know, tell us what's
wrong with Donovan Edwards and he just said he's just
not good enough.

Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:04:11):
Well, there was one play Friday night that just stuck
out to me like a I don't this isn't a
sore thumb, but it.

Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
Was a short thumb.

Speaker 6 (01:04:21):
Okay, and Edwards was in to block late in the
fourth quarter, okay, and one of the big fatties who
he was trying to block just basically went like this,
and he all but threw Donovan Edwards into the quarterback
because yeah, I want the fact. I want to go
back and watch it. Yeah, because he's so small that

(01:04:42):
it's impossible for him to stop anybody like that. I mean,
you know, in the good old days, Emerson Boozer, you know,
was taught and somebody else. Everybody else was just stick
your helmet into the numbers and slow them down. Well,
but when the guy outweighs you by one hundred and
fifty towns, that's gonna work. So Donovan Edwards is only

(01:05:05):
you know. And again I love I love the line
from your dad from uh uh yeah, from yesterday. I
watched it last night. Uh when he said, uh yeah,
he's scored a touchdown against the guy's gonna be parking
cars next week.

Speaker 1 (01:05:22):
That is true that that was said on the show.

Speaker 6 (01:05:25):
It was good. It was a good line and it's true.
And that's the whole thing that by the fourth quarter
of the third preseason game, Yeah, playing that you're not
playing against the best competition by far right. And I
don't see how the Jets are going to carry Donovan
Edwards as a kick returner and maybe you know, a

(01:05:47):
fourth or a fifth running back temporarily, you know, until
Isaiah Davis isn't hurt anymore. Yeah, I just don't see
I just don't see it, unfortunately, And you know I
didn't see enough even on Friday night. I mean, he
made a couple of you know, nice runs, but you know,
certainly nothing like uh uh Travis. Travis the wide receiver,

(01:06:11):
who who made those two great moves, you know, to
turn a one yard gain into an eleven.

Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
Yard Jamal Pritchett, Yes, I mean he.

Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
I I was really surprised your dad didn't see him sticking.

Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
Yeah, man, me too. Rich didn't have him in on
his latest one. I'll have to double check, because he
did an update on it yesterday morning, but the last
the night after the game, so the game happens and
then puts it out that night. He did not have
Pritchett making it. He did make an update while I
was at the State Fairs, so I'm not sure if
that updated version has it, but yeah, he did not
have to make it. I think the kid did enough,

(01:06:47):
to be honest with you, to make it. But I
know there's a lot of tough decisions. He's a small
guys like five eight, five nine, but boy, he's given
a lot in that body.

Speaker 6 (01:06:56):
Well he's a specialist, you know, and he's gonna be
a kick returner. He'll be a kick returner and if
nothing else, and you got to have more than one
of those. Yes, obviously they've got a kick returner already
who actually you know, is pretty darn good. But you know,
I guess the thing about it is when you're a

(01:07:17):
team that's rebuilding, like the Jets, there's so many positional
needs because you're not really that strong or that deep anyway.
I mean, I wouldn't mind finding another offensive lineman. They
may think they don't need one, but you can never
have enough good ones that even those that you can

(01:07:42):
be building up and coaching up. And you know, again,
the wave Wiver is going to have what twelve hundred
people there?

Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
Yeah, what an insane number? That is, right, you say that, Bob,
And that's an accurate number. It's twelve hundred people are
about to lose their jobs temporarily because some are going
to get claim aimed in practice squads. There's all kinds
of roster gymnastics are meant to happen, But twelve hundred
people are about to suddenly just be available. What a
crazy thing for an NFL team. There is twenty hours
between when all the players have to be cut by

(01:08:12):
at four o'clock on Tuesday and noon the next day,
which the claims have to be in at that point
and then they're revealed to the public. There's that's twenty
hours of time. Yeah. To be in an NFL room
calling through twelve hundred players, I'm like, oh, this one's good. Up,
this one sucks. What an impossible task.

Speaker 6 (01:08:28):
To these That's why you have That's why you have
scouts of course, right, well, and the and the scouts
who cover the college teams. I'm assuming during preseason of
watching the pro team preseason games.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
That's why I'm just assuming, right, because there's pro personnel
scouts and then there's the college scouts. So yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:08:49):
But you know you put all your personnel to work there,
and you know you can find a diamond in the rough.
I mean, look at Quincy Williams.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
Oh my god, came some believing.

Speaker 6 (01:08:59):
I mean in the world. You look at it in retrospect,
how could Tennessee ever cut him Jacksonville to Jacksonville, How
could they ever cut.

Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
Him and all the first team all pro on waivers?
That is just unbelievable.

Speaker 6 (01:09:13):
But the year that he's what he's going into his
third year with the Jets, now.

Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Uh yeah, let me double check that. Let me see
you on Quincy see when he arrived. It's somewhere in
that range for sure.

Speaker 6 (01:09:25):
Yeah, and and and where had the Jets finished the
year before that was Sala's what first year? At the
end of Sala's first year with the Jets.

Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
He's going into Quincy's going into his fifth year with
the Jets.

Speaker 6 (01:09:39):
Okay, but he he got not only you know, got cut,
but he got through several other teams who could have
put a waiver claim in for sure, obviously different because
the Jets just got him. Yeah, so there is there
is There are diamonds in the rough there that just
get cut because you know it's not there time yet,

(01:10:01):
or they do need development, like you know, like Ricky
just said, there are guys out there that you know
that can make a difference. And you know, I don't
think it's Poky going to be Pokey Wilson.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
I'm sorry, sorry, Ricky Ricky about that. Yeah, yeah, I
don't think it's gonna be Poky.

Speaker 6 (01:10:18):
You know, hey it you know there's again in the
old days, they used to have seventeen rounds in the draft.
I mean, that's how much talent was out there. Right,
It's still out there because and because of the negotiations
between the players union and in the National Football League,

(01:10:40):
they cut down to make more opportunity for more players
out there to go where they wanted to go and
to have more opportunities to play. And that's why we
only have seven rounds. Yeah, so you know, there's there's
a lot of football talent out there, it's just a
matter of identifying it. Look if if San Francisco's quarterback

(01:11:03):
can be the last pick.

Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
In the draft, last pick of the draft.

Speaker 6 (01:11:06):
My goodness, I mean Tom and even Tom.

Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
Brady six round two thousand drafts, Yeah, it happens.

Speaker 6 (01:11:15):
So yeah, Tuesday, Tuesday will be interesting. In fact, I'm
going to pick up the newspaper right now and see
who got cut yesterday. All know who most of those
guys are. But Wednesday and Thursday, you know, you can
you can really go to town. And so maybe on
Friday we'll have some do guys to talk.

Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
About I think so, and that'll be the last show
before we get to the week. So this week we'll
talk about all the roster cuts and where the rosters
sort of settled at. And a week later will be
forty eight hours out from the season opener against the
Pittsburgh Steelers. I can't even imagine what that was.

Speaker 6 (01:11:51):
Everybody have on is going to have to make their predictions.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
That's for sure. We'll we'll need it, Bob. We'll have
to start doing that a week to week.

Speaker 6 (01:11:56):
I got to get my computer ready.

Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
There you go, we'll get it ready, load it up.
There we go, Bob, thanks for connon on a Sunday.

Speaker 4 (01:12:05):
I appreciate welcome.

Speaker 6 (01:12:05):
You have a good good day, good week to everybody
out there. We'll see on Friday.

Speaker 1 (01:12:09):
There he is, Bob Letter what a and I just
love I was just thinking about this yesterday, getting all
philosophical of this show and the amorphous nature that it is.
You guys wanted Bob. Bob comes on, he reaches out
to me, and and for good reason, Jerry Philbin unfortunately
passed away and Bob and his book. Of course, we're natural.

(01:12:32):
It's right here beyond Broadway. Joe the team that changed
football forever prominently featured obviously here on Boy Green Daily.
You know, he reaches out because you know it's you know,
it's sad for Jerry Philbin and Philbin's family obviously, but
it's it's a great reason to bring back up the
book because he had the chatter on every player, so
anytime one of those players inevitably passes away, we could

(01:12:55):
talk about the book and the moments and the life
of all these people. Right, So he was supposed to
come on for that one spot to talk about Jerry
Philbin and then let's move on. But there was just
too much to uncovered. We just couldn't possibly cover at
all in one interview, and you guys wanted more Bob.
And now Bob has carved out time to join us.

(01:13:17):
Every single week he has called in when it's not
even his day. He's paying attention, he's caring, he's showing
his love and you guys love hate him. There's all
kinds of different takes on Bob, but there's a lot
of thank yous to Bob in the comment section for
good reason. Bob's been a wonderful edition of the show,
so it's going to be super fun to have that
perspective throughout the entire season. So I really appreciate that

(01:13:41):
from Bob, and I, like I said, I was just
thinking about it yesterday. All the things that happened on
this show just by a circumstance. Now real quick, because
we're talking about the Hop on Pop thing, Like, man,
how do we determine who's going to be the guy
that's sit next to Pop? First off, I see this
from MFC. I missed this earlier. I'm sort of glad
I missed this earlier. But MFC, a member for fifteen months,

(01:14:03):
has a quarterback suggestion for the Jets that Tim Boyle
is still available. Thank you for that, MFC. No, thank you. Yeah,
that Tim Boyle started multiple games for the New York
Jets that I had to sit and watch through is
something I'd be talking to my therapist about for the
next ten years. So thanks MFC. Appreciate that. Thank you

(01:14:27):
for that coming in. But also we heard this from him,
how about the highest wounded warrior donator sits next to Pop?
So in theory, I love this idea. Have that makes
a lot of sense. It's the charity in which my
dad is associated with and the work he's doing. The
only problem is is we're taking donations all the way
through October fourth. So the problem is that if someone

(01:14:50):
I'm making this up because we're taking those donations through
midnight the night before the game, if someone dropped a
thousand dollars donation and that wants out of the ballpark,
I would then have to transfer that ticket to that
person quote unquote last second. So that would mean multiple
tickets would be up in the air for people that
would be donating to it. So that could just complicate things.

(01:15:11):
So I like it in theory have but the problem is,
I think that's going to be too late in the game.
We're gonna have to transfer the tickets well before that date.
So what I think is going to happen because I
just found that individual. His name is Shad Johnson, who's
a member of the Boy Green Coffee Club. I found
his email that said, hey man, I don't get to
watch a show every single day, but let me know

(01:15:31):
whenever you determine how you're going to doll out the
pop seat. So there is Shad Johnson who shout out
to Shad he would love to sit by my father.
Indy Jets would like to sit by my dad. So
there's a few people. So I think the way I'm
going to as I'm figuring this out live, I think,
you know, sort of a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project,

(01:15:55):
like I'll probably this is probably how I'll do it.
I'll let Shadd and in email as the two people.
If anyone else is interested again, reach out to my email.
Throw that back up on the screen real quick, and
then I will consider you. But you guys got to
reach out asap. Okay, here's my email again, my first name,
middle initial, last name, the letters JR at gmail dot com.
P A U L A E SDN jrgmail dot com.

(01:16:18):
If you guys want to sit next to my pop
and you have any interest in being a part of that,
and you're already a part of our tailgate, let me
know again. I have no additional tickets to sell, so
sorry those are sold out. But if you are already
a part of our tailgate, you are eligible for what
I'm saying right now. And if you want to sit
next to him, reach out to me. A sad but
here's what I believe I'm going to do. I'm going

(01:16:39):
to give everyone who's interested. Right now, we have two people.
I'm going to give everyone who's interested. I will give
you an email and I will say, hey, this is
going to be a silent auction. And how it's going
to work in my made up silent auction head is
you will make a blind donation to my father's Wounded
Warrior Project giveaway. And who whoever among you has the

(01:17:01):
highest silent donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, we'll get
the ticket. But it's blind. So you know, if Indy
in my head, if Indy gives fifty bucks but Shad
randomly picked sixty, he won't know how much Indy gave.
Indy won't know how much Shad gave. So it's blind.
So you just bet whatever you're willing to spend to
sit next to my pop. And the good news is

(01:17:21):
it all goes to charity. So take that for what
you will. So I believe that's how I'm going to operate.
Do not send it now, whoever you are out there
in the universe, Indie Jets or Shad or anyone else,
because I want to give you, guys all the same
fair opportunity, and whatever that blind donation is, whoever is
the highest of that blind donation will win that spot
next to Pop. And that's how we'll determine. I think

(01:17:43):
that's the fairest way to do it. So everyone has
a chance. You guys can do as much as you
want or as little as you want. I don't know.
Maybe a dollar will do it, Maybe two bucks will
do it. I don't know, maybe fifty bucks will do it,
maybe a hundred bucks. I have no idea, but that's
the opportunity I'll give for everyone that's interested. So I
see two people interested at least, and Shad and Indie Jets,
and those people will have the opportunity to do so.

(01:18:06):
So again, multiple people want to sit next to Pop.
That's cool that multiple people want to sit next to Pop.
I think that would be the fairest way to figure
it out and do it there. So appreciate it. And
again I'll confirm that my poth to make sure that's
what he wants to do, and then we'll go from there.
So thank you Shad, and thank you Indy, and everyone
else is interested. Again, if you are interested, email me

(01:18:26):
and I will include you in that little package of
action happening. All right, let's go back to the phone lines.
He's been making a couple of appearances here on the program.
It is Neil Senior back on the show. What's up, Neil?

Speaker 4 (01:18:39):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (01:18:39):
Paul?

Speaker 8 (01:18:40):
How you doing excellent? Who gets to sit next to
you in that game?

Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
That's a good question. No, well, I guess Woody will
probably have to because we have a photo guy there.
But no one else has been or even shown any
interest whatsoever, which does not surprise me.

Speaker 8 (01:18:53):
So while next to you, and you're a grumpy old man, Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
I appreciate that. I'm high around the perfect.

Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
Let me put it this way.

Speaker 8 (01:19:00):
If I sit next to him, I will make sure
he gets you at w wash. Did you get that
washer dryer?

Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
I did not?

Speaker 3 (01:19:06):
No, No, I am gonna make sure he buys you.

Speaker 8 (01:19:09):
Fact, my family's in the was in the TV and
appliance business.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
Oh cool.

Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
Keep this in mind.

Speaker 8 (01:19:15):
If I sit next to your dad, I'm gonna wrestle
his wallet out of his pants and probably has a
lot of spider webs on it.

Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
Then I'm gonna take his credit card.

Speaker 8 (01:19:24):
I'm gonna call me Appliant store and deliver to washer
dryer to.

Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
You, that would be beautiful. I'd really appreciate that. I
act to that.

Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
Probably would fight me. Boy, he's a strong guy.

Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
Yeah, I'm sure you're a strong guy too, Neil, No, I.

Speaker 8 (01:19:36):
Get I'll get somebody with me, like Rob Glenhead. No, nice, listen,
Rob from Glenhead. He's my he's my sidekick.

Speaker 3 (01:19:44):
Dude, he is a monster.

Speaker 1 (01:19:46):
Okay, that's a good choice.

Speaker 4 (01:19:47):
How big is.

Speaker 3 (01:19:48):
Your father's big?

Speaker 8 (01:19:49):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:19:49):
How big is your father?

Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
He's probably five eight five nine and uh probably wait wise,
I don't know, maybe fifty maybe, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:19:59):
He's a big guy. But you know you're not gonna
screw your dad.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
Good luck?

Speaker 15 (01:20:04):
I watch that.

Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Let's see. So he was born on May twenty second,
nineteen sixty eight. So whatever the math is on that
at fifty seven maybe?

Speaker 15 (01:20:12):
All right?

Speaker 3 (01:20:12):
All right, all right, that's good.

Speaker 8 (01:20:14):
But so let me ask you a quick question. What
is the story with the tailgate? Is the tickets all gone?

Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
You just said they are now all gone? Yes, yes,
we shall have both tailgate and this. But the good
news is you could show up. Unfortunately, you won't be
able to have any of the food, but you'll be
able to show up and see everybody and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (01:20:33):
Well I could order something.

Speaker 8 (01:20:34):
Well, listen if I if I go to that game. Okay,
I'm going to come to your tailgate, and prior to
the tailgate, I'll order something from Kevin that he could
bring me to the game.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
So sure, I guess that's true. Sure I have to.

Speaker 3 (01:20:49):
Have Chef Kevin's food. I have to get that food.

Speaker 8 (01:20:52):
That is, honestly one of the biggest reasons I want
to go. That is the biggest attraction to your tailgate.
He's having him do it, you know what I mean.
He is amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:21:05):
You know, his stuff is mouth watering.

Speaker 1 (01:21:07):
Man, my my radio partner that I work with for
a long time. He's bringing his son. The only reason
he's a Giants fan. They're Giants fans. I'm going to
a Jets Cowboys game. The only reason he's coming is
because Chef Kenv. He saw the videos, he saw the
pictures of what he's cooking. He's like, I'm in. I'm like,
it's a Jet's Cowboys game. I'm in. I'm like all right.
So he just wants to go there for the food,

(01:21:28):
which I can't blame. How many people.

Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Are how many tickets did you sell what's the story.

Speaker 1 (01:21:33):
How many people jets tickets? Sitting with us is fifty
nine tickets and then people at the tailgate is sixty
three people.

Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
All right, so we got it, got sixty at the tailcaate.

Speaker 8 (01:21:42):
Yeah, okay, So you know I told you I I'm
you know, as we get closer, I'm starting to get
more and more excited. You know again, I'm a wounded
warrior myself. You know, forget about the thing. I'm a
wounded warrior with Wiscon team. The last two years, it's

(01:22:02):
really given me. I can't believe. I mean, I still
watch every snap, I still you know, look, I'm still
excited game day.

Speaker 3 (01:22:11):
I'm still excited, and I.

Speaker 8 (01:22:13):
Am always always optimistic about what we are as a team.
I saw I saw one punch say that we six
wins is going to be our limit.

Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
I don't.

Speaker 8 (01:22:23):
I don't really agree with any of that. We really
don't know, you know, we really don't.

Speaker 3 (01:22:28):
And you know what we.

Speaker 8 (01:22:29):
Really really gives me the most hope. You know, I
just watched a ton of parts. You know, I love
watching Parcels miked up and I love watching his documentary
about his coaching career. Oh yeah, and when you look
at his tree, you know, with with with the I mean,
his tree is all successful. He's the only coach that

(01:22:51):
really has a treed. It doesn't really have any bums
on it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:57):
Bad branches, right, Parcels tree is pretty good.

Speaker 3 (01:23:00):
Right, pretty good. It's excellent.

Speaker 8 (01:23:02):
And if if Aaron Glenn, if any of what Aaron
Glenn does is able to you know, connect with the
players the way Parcels was able to you know what
I mean, it's going to be a major difference to
what we were used were used to see.

Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
Paul, Yeah, yeah, here it is real quick. Here is
the tree. And I thought there's going to be an
image to pull up immediately here. So here is the
here's the Bill Parcells coaching tree. Here it is all right.
From a Sperano to Palmer, Sean Payton, of course, Todd Haley,
Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, Romeo Crenell, Al grow Nick Saban

(01:23:44):
is on this list, man genius. Eric Mangini's on this list.
Who else do we get on this list? Jim Schwartz,
Dick Geron, God rest his soul, Steve Spagnolo, great coach,
Bobby Petrino, Hanley Fascil Oh my god, he's I mean this,
this is this is an unbelievable list.

Speaker 8 (01:24:04):
I don't know, you know, I can't understand why Fascile never.

Speaker 1 (01:24:09):
Why did he get a chance, right, nobody gave.

Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
Him a second chance.

Speaker 1 (01:24:13):
That was really weirdas talking about Spags, not fast Fastle
was the special teams guys. So Spagnolo is with the
so he had the shitty head coach runner the Saint
Louis Rams and he never got a chance again.

Speaker 8 (01:24:24):
Talking about Fastile, Fasta was the Giant coach that never
got caught on again coaching after the Giants.

Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
He never had another job.

Speaker 1 (01:24:32):
Yeah, let me see on Fastle, maybe.

Speaker 8 (01:24:34):
It was like he never got another job after the
Giants to my record.

Speaker 1 (01:24:39):
Oh yes, yes, yes, and both of them didn't get
that other opportunity, right, yeah, yeah, Fassle got his chance,
but then he never got another one. Yeah, he was
let's see, get the head he was with the Giants
during that Super Bowl they lost to the Baltimore Ravens.
He was ninety seven through two thousand and three, yep,
but never got a well yeah the next The only
other head coaching Jobby had after that was for the

(01:25:00):
Las Vegas Locomotives. Which time where who is that? There
was that back in the UFL days? When when is this? Yeah,
the United Football League? There you go, the Las Vegas Locomotives.
And then his career ended. So yeah, that's crazy. He
never got another head coaching chits, yeah he did either
or back.

Speaker 8 (01:25:16):
Actually the last coach on his tree, that was our coach,
you know, came in like a ball of fire would
grow six And what were we when we started with him?

Speaker 1 (01:25:28):
Oh my god, it was. It was a big run
whatever it was.

Speaker 8 (01:25:31):
Yeah, I was at that Tampa game when uh with
the fireman and head and the whole gang.

Speaker 3 (01:25:38):
What a game that was. I stayed at that game
till the end, and we came back and won.

Speaker 8 (01:25:42):
If you remember, that was the Curtis Martin or Curtis
Martin to Quebet with touchdown when yes we went wild, Paul,
we had. We got trashed by all the Tampa fans
in that game. It rained like a son of a beat.
We all stay at the same hotel and everybody. My

(01:26:04):
friend was with me, He's like, Noah, let's get the
hell out of here.

Speaker 3 (01:26:07):
What do you kidding?

Speaker 8 (01:26:07):
We're not coming back in this game. I said, sit
down and relax. We come back and all of us
like the whole section. Yeah, fireman had let us down
the turnstile. We were going j ets Chance all the
way brought it back to the hotel. I mean, that
was one of the most incredible tale you know, trips

(01:26:30):
I've been on.

Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
And it was a great trip.

Speaker 1 (01:26:32):
Hey, Hey, by the way, I didn't even realize this
was something else we could do. So the night before,
So the tailgate we're doing is Jet's Cowboys Sunday, October fifth.
The night before, we're doing a meet and greet at
Chef Kevin Gilbert's restaurants. If you want to taste of
the food, We're going to be at Chef Kevin Gilbert's
restaurant the night before. I believe that's in Caldwell, New Jersey,

(01:26:53):
as this restaurant the clover Leaf Tavern, and Chef keV
is going to be there and a bunch of other
Jet fans. So if that I don't know where that
is in relation to you, Neil, but if you want
to come to that field, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:27:05):
Not gonna be a prohibit on Saturday night.

Speaker 8 (01:27:08):
It wouldn't be a horrible drive from in Garden city.
Maybe it's an hour and a half, that's not it's
worth it for that, for that.

Speaker 1 (01:27:16):
So you can have the food so you can test
it out. It'll be that would be better.

Speaker 8 (01:27:19):
Obviously I'm going to get a better I'm not saying
it's not going to be as good as the tailgate,
but right, it would be at his actual restaurant. Correct, straight,
you have a menu in the whole nine yards correct,
nice taste.

Speaker 1 (01:27:32):
Okay, So shout out to jutgs world Wide for the idea, right.

Speaker 8 (01:27:36):
Maybe, well, you know Rich Rich lives by me, so, uh,
Rich and I do a lot together, so maybe I'll
pick maybe Rich and I'll do it together.

Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
That'd be excellent. Bring him on down that Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:27:48):
That would be great. Yeah, that's gonna happen, no doubt
about it. Because I love it. I love look, I
like you guys. I like this this channel mainly because
there's a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:27:58):
Of ogs on here, you know.

Speaker 8 (01:27:59):
We this is like you would track the ogs for
some reason, and we have a lot of ogs you know,
in here, and we all been.

Speaker 3 (01:28:07):
Through the same wars together.

Speaker 8 (01:28:09):
So it's easy to get the Foxhall with the brig
and all of the guys, you know, even Indie Jet,
which sometimes I want to give him a punch in
the face, but I like Indy a bully kidd But
we all kind of, you know, go against each other.

Speaker 3 (01:28:25):
Where is he there?

Speaker 2 (01:28:26):
He is?

Speaker 3 (01:28:27):
Going on, Neil, what's happening, bro Snowball?

Speaker 16 (01:28:32):
You know, I'm sitting here trying to get on and
just to get BG to go. Hey, Saturday night, we're
all meeting up. Come on, Neil, you might as well
join us that.

Speaker 4 (01:28:40):
Night at the at Chef Cav's restaurant.

Speaker 8 (01:28:44):
You know, I gotta tell you, I wouldn't last year
with the whole thing. See what, I get a little
and I'm not look I come to anything. I'm not
afraid to come, you know, but I don't want to.
You know, I feel bad sometimes because I had a
you know, we had a little bit, we got a
little punchy with each other, but it's.

Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
All in love.

Speaker 6 (01:29:05):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:29:05):
When we're the Aaron Rodgers thing and everybody got on
me and I got on people, you know, it.

Speaker 3 (01:29:10):
Was it was a tough time a little bit for
all of us.

Speaker 4 (01:29:14):
But you're one of my You're one of the you're
one of my favorites.

Speaker 16 (01:29:16):
You're one of the OG's here too, And you know
I I look forward to your two hundred and sixty
seven points.

Speaker 3 (01:29:22):
Yeah, I don't make that many.

Speaker 8 (01:29:23):
I know I get criticized a lot by my pos
I'm passionate Indy as you guys. Look, we're all passionate.
Anybody that gets up on a Sunday boarding with no
football and we sit here and listen to each other
pontificate about this ship team that. You know, we have

(01:29:45):
to get a lot of credit for that. You know,
it shows that we are really, we are real. These
are the real fans, no question, right.

Speaker 16 (01:29:53):
And there's no better fan base. I don't care what
they say, They're no better fans there. There just isn't.
I mean, you look at the Patriots, the Dolphins, the Bills,
you know, they're all you know, most of the Patriots
fans are bandwagon fans, you know, and they're gone and
they're gone now, except you know, the Dolphins, well we
don't even need to talk about that.

Speaker 4 (01:30:14):
And the Bills have just never won anything either, so.

Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
You know.

Speaker 16 (01:30:19):
And I grew up in the Northern Indiana around the
Chicago fans, around the Colts fans. Colts fans are some
of the worst, uh, you know, they're just like the Patriots.
You didn't know of a Colts fan until Peyton Manny,
So you know, uh, these fans, uh that this that
this group, whether it's in Beg's Chad or just the

(01:30:40):
Jets in general, are just phenomenal people. And we bust
each other's jobs and and and that's what we're supposed to.

Speaker 3 (01:30:46):
It's all in good nature.

Speaker 8 (01:30:49):
But you know what's amazing, Indy before this, you know
before like I guess you started, Paul what four years ago?

Speaker 3 (01:30:57):
Five?

Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
Yeah? On you on YouTube? Five years ago?

Speaker 6 (01:31:00):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
What are you the old? Are you the who's who
started before you? Paula? I want to get the chronological order.
Who started?

Speaker 4 (01:31:09):
Green Bean?

Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
Right or yeah, green Bee would probably be first. I
mean we could check, but I'm pretty sure because I think, yeah,
let's see, let me let me do some looking.

Speaker 3 (01:31:18):
And are you interested in that?

Speaker 16 (01:31:19):
Knowing that Oh yeah, well it's either green Bean or
it's oh gosh, I can't think of what it is.

Speaker 1 (01:31:28):
So let's give a shout out to Matt O'Leary. So
I just went over to his YouTube channel. He started
in twenty eighteen on his YouTube, so that predates me.
Let me look at some other people on here.

Speaker 3 (01:31:38):
I'm not like twenty four to seven he's been.

Speaker 1 (01:31:40):
Oh yeah, let me check him. I got to see when.

Speaker 4 (01:31:43):
I don't think Ryan's been on that long.

Speaker 1 (01:31:45):
How about green Bean? How long has he been on?

Speaker 3 (01:31:51):
Do you know that?

Speaker 4 (01:31:52):
No? I don't. I've followed green Bean for years.

Speaker 16 (01:31:56):
You know, him and I have talked out, you know,
when he was doing the whole camping traveling around the
country and.

Speaker 1 (01:32:01):
Oy, so green Beans posted me. So he came a
green Bean came after me. So okay, So we have
Matt o Learry right now, that's the leading guy at
twenty eighteen was when he started. Let's check jets Talk
twenty four to seven. When did that bastard start? Let's
see here he started in twenty eighteen as well, so
he's another og. So twenty eighteen, twenty eighteen is both

(01:32:25):
him and Matt O'Leary. And then let me check out
jets Media. Richie's what's when? Did when the hell did
Richie start? That's another goody twenty one? Yeah, I think me, yeah,
I think you might be right. At twenty eighteen, he's
another twenty eighteen guy.

Speaker 8 (01:32:40):
Soo eighteen though, Paul there really wasn't a YouTube like
this that we.

Speaker 1 (01:32:45):
Can know because Jake is like, I think he's similar
to me. I think he was four or five years
ago on YouTube as he is now. So yeah, it
seems like everybody's twenty eighteen. So shout out to Richie,
Jets Media, and Matt O'Leary. Those guys, according to YouTube
who has all the dates started, were all like seven
years ago on YouTube.

Speaker 4 (01:33:02):
So are you going to the game? Are you coming
to the tailgate?

Speaker 16 (01:33:04):
Or now, let's just make a final decision deal, are
you kind of at least come hang out at the tailgate?

Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
Yes, yes, I'll be here there you go. Oh yeah,
I'm you know.

Speaker 8 (01:33:13):
Look, and I'm not saying it to be snooty or
anything else. I'm just like I said, I promised myself
indeed that I would not go to the opener. I
haven't missed an opener in forty years. Okay, I am
not going to the opener that I already official. Okay,
in fact, I already have people. Rich Is gonna probably
come over. I got a couple of people. I'm gonna

(01:33:34):
have my own tailgate at my house and watch it.

Speaker 3 (01:33:37):
So I'm uh, you know. And so now my fear.
And again, I don't want to sound, you know, crazy,
but this is ship.

Speaker 6 (01:33:46):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:33:46):
I don't want to go to a game in game
five and tail away a Sunday because I'm golfing. I
just got my first hole in one last week.

Speaker 1 (01:33:54):
I congratulations.

Speaker 8 (01:33:56):
Yeah, and uh, I don't want to waste a sunday
on the guy. Of course, I would still watch the game,
but I could.

Speaker 3 (01:34:03):
Play golf in the morning and watch the game.

Speaker 8 (01:34:05):
If we're like one and four going into game five, indeed,
it's gonna be real hard for me to get excited
about wasting a sunday.

Speaker 1 (01:34:12):
I'll be honest, Well, we couldn't be in game five.

Speaker 8 (01:34:16):
That sounds selfish, but I really want to know one
and well, I'm sorry, one in three we'd be was
that the fourth game?

Speaker 1 (01:34:25):
And yeah, we're the fifth game, the fifth?

Speaker 3 (01:34:27):
Could you know one and four?

Speaker 1 (01:34:29):
I don't want to look.

Speaker 8 (01:34:33):
I am thinking we're going to be two and two
into that fifth.

Speaker 3 (01:34:37):
Game, and I'll be there. I'm not.

Speaker 8 (01:34:39):
I'm not I'm not thinking that we're gonna lose. I
don't believe we're gonna be.

Speaker 3 (01:34:42):
One and four.

Speaker 8 (01:34:43):
Okay, However, you know I want to I want to
play cards.

Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
Safe a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:34:48):
Okay, I'm really mad.

Speaker 8 (01:34:50):
You know who I'm mad at. I'm mad at the
goddamn Jets. I'm mad at the front office. I'm mad
at Woody Johnson.

Speaker 3 (01:34:57):
I'm mad at how shitty they they you know, they
may you know, I'm mad at a lot of things.
I gotta be honest with you.

Speaker 8 (01:35:04):
I'm okay, but uh uh you know, I'm right there.
I love the Aaron Glenn thing that the more will
were into it. It's the shoes starting to fit and
look great.

Speaker 1 (01:35:16):
There he is Snowball, who had the idea, by the way,
to invite you to uh the pretail gate, I guess,
which is the night before at Chef Kevin Gilbert's restaurant,
Which is good because we still have like thirty tickets
left to that thing. So you want to go?

Speaker 3 (01:35:30):
Now, let me ask you a question.

Speaker 4 (01:35:34):
Are we going to go?

Speaker 3 (01:35:35):
You want to go to the You're going to go?
Plan on going to the dinner and the.

Speaker 1 (01:35:38):
Tailgate, all of these guys. So Snowball is going to
the night before event, Indy's going to both. So yeah,
I don't believe Snowball has a ticket to the game.
So he's just going to the night.

Speaker 4 (01:35:50):
Before wedding, right, right, right, right, right right.

Speaker 1 (01:35:53):
You picked your wife over us. I'll try not to
take it personally. Okay, Wait, your.

Speaker 8 (01:35:57):
Wedding anniversary doesn't preclude a jet game. You know, Michelle
and I were married forty you know, we were just
married forty years. If it was a big game on
a Sunday and our anniversary was there, that would not
be out of the question.

Speaker 15 (01:36:11):
As then I can watch the game. I just can't
go to the tailgate and travel to Neil. You know,
if you drive to the stadium, it's an all day event, like, right,
that's that's crappy. But well, if they win, it's okay.
But you know, if you if they lose, it sucks.

Speaker 8 (01:36:27):
I did it last year. I did it last year,
two years? Was it last year? I did it in
that Sprinter Man. That was incredible. Yeah, that Sprinter was
the best because you could watch the they had a
TV there, you could watch the other games on the
way home.

Speaker 3 (01:36:41):
You don't have to worry about it. You could drink,
I could smoke cigars and the thing. Oh it was amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:36:46):
Yeah, lou B, I've never seen one of the Sprinters before.
Lou B who's a big jetsman on this channel. He's
going to be he has he owns a Sprinter and
he's bringing it to the tailgate, so that'll be cool.

Speaker 8 (01:36:57):
My friend's son owns one and charters and he grew up.
We went to school with my son. So I reserved
it for all the home games in the last two years,
and uh, I had Jake in it with me.

Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
And the way Jake and his father came for.

Speaker 8 (01:37:14):
The open when Rogers got hurt, we were together.

Speaker 3 (01:37:18):
Oh my god. That ride home.

Speaker 8 (01:37:21):
Jake was in the back of the back of the
Sprinter trying to do a post game right, and the
Wi fi and the sprinter was shaky, you know, had
Wi fi, you know, right, and my sons were pissed
and we were like so pissed off and my son
then my sons don't watch Jake asmen, right, and they're
like saying, to be, who is this asshole in the

(01:37:43):
car with us? Who is this And they're like shoot
little box to Jake in the back, and it was
so embarrassing. And then when we came home, Jake, I
invited Jake in the house. We sat my son room
and he did his show right in my house were.

Speaker 3 (01:37:59):
All Buddy was asleep.

Speaker 8 (01:38:01):
What a what a gut wrenching God, that was a
gut wrenching day. I got to tell and we were
one to know, and we were one to know that
was the overtime winner. But look, guys, it's so great
to have what what we could have together if something
good happens. Now that we met everybody online and we
we'll hope for a great season.

Speaker 1 (01:38:20):
So Neil, everyone on the screen, as long as you come.
We're coming to that night before thing. So everyone Snowball's
coming to it, Indies coming to it. Obviously I'm going
to be there. So yeah, Neil, if you want to come,
it'll be at Chef Kevin Gilbert.

Speaker 3 (01:38:32):
I'll walk you off. I'll talk to you a fair.

Speaker 1 (01:38:34):
All right, it'll work something there we go, all right, Neil,
appreciate it. Thanks brother.

Speaker 16 (01:38:40):
And you know we were talking about the wounded warrior,
you know, the sitting next to Pops thing. Correct, Yeah,
and that's great. You know I got those I don't
know if you saw the message. Those boards are ordered
now so the right, yes, yes, yeah, So the boards
are that I'll be bringing to the tailgate to give
to Pops.

Speaker 1 (01:39:00):
So yeah, so let's do this because Indy, So this
is the complicated thing. So first off, what you're doing
is awesome, that's super cool. And I think my pop
is going to end depth because we don't want your donation,
for lack of a better w donation is probably the
right word. We don't want that to go to waste.
And what I mean by that is he is, apparently,
and thank you to the Boy Green Coffee Club, raising
a lot of money. Every time we're talking about the

(01:39:22):
Wounded Warrior Project is fifty to fifty raffle more and
more money is coming in, which is great. So I
think what he'll do is something separate with the boards
that will you know, make even more money off it.

Speaker 16 (01:39:32):
Yeah, I want I want Pops to do to be
able to do whatever he wants to do. You know,
he's got a network of people that I'm sure that
he you know that that they can get out there
and start and whatever he wants to do if he
wants to talk them off in a separate and a
separate deal within his own circle.

Speaker 4 (01:39:51):
Fantastic, you know.

Speaker 16 (01:39:52):
And and Pops just keeps all the money for Ford,
put all of it right towards the right towards the
the project there.

Speaker 1 (01:40:02):
Yeah, So but what I wanted to say to you
is to make this fair, right because so Shad again,
Shad Johnson shout out. He reached out a couple of
months ago and said, hey, man, I you know, I
don't know when you're doing it or what you're doing it,
but I'm in and I'm like, oh, okay, I'll let
you know whatever that's gonna not that I promised it
to him, just like, hey, I'll let you know whatever
we decide. So, Indy, these boards, what whatever that cost was,

(01:40:25):
whatever the thing is, consider that part of if you
do any more or if you just settle on whatever,
because I have no idea what you spent on those.
That is part of this donation thing we're talking about here. Okay,
So whatever that is, that's not lost on me. That counts.
So like, if Shad doesn't go above or whatever else
you do that number, which he probably won't to be

(01:40:45):
honest with you, then you're gonna win the seat next
to him and it won't matter. So I just want
you to make sure that's clear because I saw that
message too on the on the board. Just want to
make that clear.

Speaker 16 (01:40:55):
Yeah, and you know, it's it's it's it's either way.
It's fine. You know, we're all going to have a
good time.

Speaker 4 (01:41:02):
You know, I'm not.

Speaker 16 (01:41:03):
You know, we've been talking about you know that get
that big seat, you know, and sitting next to Pops
just so we can.

Speaker 1 (01:41:10):
In the world is a prize, I don't know, but
multiple people are reaching out. So I'm like, all right,
it's it's.

Speaker 16 (01:41:20):
Kind of like this though. You know, Pops and I
are about the same age. Uh, you know, we we've
we've gone through, uh you know, some very similar things.
You know, we we we've got a more on for
a son, you know, but you know, I'm just kidding,
be g but you know, uh, you know, Pops within
the navy, so we've got some similar we've got some

(01:41:41):
similar things.

Speaker 1 (01:41:43):
Uh.

Speaker 16 (01:41:44):
So I I kind of relate to Pops, you know,
some of the things that he says and some you know,
and so even though he's a Cowboys fan, we all
can't be perfect.

Speaker 15 (01:41:53):
There were a lot of girls that I thought would
be nice to date, and you know, then I got
to know them. So it looks next to his father.

Speaker 1 (01:42:01):
That's that's true. So there we go. So Indy, please
on the side real quick. Just make sure you discord
message me after the show and we'll work out some
of the other stuff with the seating stuff. So we'll
definitely we'll definitely hammer that out. Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:42:14):
Yeah, that's it's it is. Well, you know, it's all
in good fun. It's all in good fun. Good to
see you, Snowball BG. You know, love talking with Neil. Uh,
you guys have a wonderful Sunday.

Speaker 1 (01:42:24):
All right, thank you, Indy. Yeah, we walk the dog. Okay,
but Snowball, the other thing I was going to say
is thank you for that that message suggestion for again
not Indy Neil, excuse me, is that that's awesome, right
because we still have like thirty spots lots, so that
would be cool. To get you some more O G
s over there and everything.

Speaker 15 (01:42:43):
That'll be we get him, we'll get maybe Rob will
come you know.

Speaker 1 (01:42:46):
Sure, yeah, right, the guys, the old guys.

Speaker 3 (01:42:49):
From Long Island.

Speaker 6 (01:42:50):
It'll be awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:42:51):
Come out, all right, man, Snowball, since you're on, yeah,
you give us a plug baby sure.

Speaker 2 (01:42:57):
Uh.

Speaker 15 (01:42:58):
Every Friday at seventh th pm on YouTube, we do
the show called Jets Worldwide, and uh, it's a lot
of fun. We do a lot of different stuff. We'll
try to mix it up. Me and this guy, Johnny Boy. Yeah,
I'm getting to know him.

Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
He's he's an okay, good or bad?

Speaker 15 (01:43:16):
Uh you know, so far it's working out, so I can't.
It has been a year, so we had a year anniversary.

Speaker 1 (01:43:24):
Congratulations.

Speaker 6 (01:43:25):
Yes, thank you so much.

Speaker 15 (01:43:26):
And uh yeah, well maybe we'll keep it going all right.

Speaker 1 (01:43:29):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (01:43:30):
Thanks, You're invited anytime you want to come on, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:43:32):
Just just oh yeah, yeah, I definitely will appreciate it. Thanks, Snowball,
take care guys. There he is Snowball joining us on
the show with surprise appearance. I love that. And Gator
saying how much do I donate to make sure I
don't sit next to Pops or see Pops. Yeah, that's
a good point. We should probably uh raffle those ones
off too. Yeah you should. But appreciate it. But seriously, guys,

(01:43:53):
if any of you have interest in sitting next that
you do, for whatever reason, have interest in sitting next
to Pop, please please email me asap. Again, if you
miss out on this, I apologize for people that don't
email quickly. Email me quickly. But if you have any
interest whatsoever and you're coming to a Jets, Cowboys s tailgate,
reach out as soon as you possibly can to have
a chance to be in it. What we'll do is

(01:44:14):
a version of a silent auction with all the money
going to the Wounded Warrior Project. So I'll throw that
up on the screen as well. We're doing an awesome
Wounded Warrior Project. Thank you. Do seven hundred people. The
numbers keep spiking in here in the room. Thank you.
If you're watching on YouTube, make sure you guys like
the video. Hit subscrib heer, we appreciate it. On YouTube,
we're trying to make a chase to eight thousand subscribers.
We're about one hundred people ways, so if there's eight

(01:44:35):
hundred people in the room that math. Maybe we could
get to eight thousand subscribers right now on the show.
That'd be cool. YouTube dot com slash boygreen two five
every single day New York Jets content. So guys, if
you're watching on Facebook or Twitter right now, open up
the YouTube app on your phone that is www dot
YouTube dot com, slash boygreen two five, hit that subscribe button. Baby.
But yes, my father hop on Pop of course, is

(01:44:58):
doing a Wounded Warrior Project fifty fifth Raffle. Fifty percent
of the proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Fifty
percent goes to whichever of you are out there in
the universe that decide to contribute. I'll hide my email
for a second here so you guys can see it.
We could talk about it again and again. The way
to be a part of this raffle is. Raffle tickets
are a dollar piece, just one dollar, So if you

(01:45:19):
just submit one dollar, you're in the running to potentially
win this thing. Obviously, in the more raffle tickets, you
have the better of your odds and all the money
goes to charity. So think about that as you're donating
your money in here, please. So fifty dollars is fifty
raffle tickets, et cetera, et cetera. And the number one
donator the top donator. Again, it's a it's a it's
sort of a blind auction here, but every week my

(01:45:41):
father joins the show, normally every Saturday, he'll update you
on who has donated the most and what it all
looks like and thinks of that nature. So we've raised
over at least four to five hundred dollars at least
with this project so far after the first week and
a half, which is super cool and I'm very humbled
by that, so thank you very much. So again, if
you do want to be a part of this, it's

(01:46:02):
not here on YouTube. Do not send anything here on YouTube.
If you do, that's all for a different raffle. So
if you do want to send it for this fifty
to fifty Wounded Warrior Project raffle, the ven was at
Paul hyphen Esden on PayPal. It's at hop on Pop
twenty two that the profile picture we'll see is a beard,
shades and spiky hair. You're at the right place if

(01:46:23):
you see all that, so feel free. And again, what
we will do is if you are interested in sitting
with Pop again, first off, send that over to me
asap PAULA. Esden Junior at gmail dot com and say, hey, Paul,
I'm interested. What do I have to do? And I
will explain what I'm about to explain right now. We're
going to do a silent bid that whoever bids the

(01:46:43):
most to the Wounded Warrior Project for my father's raffle,
we'll get those raffle tickets to do all this stuff
that's going to do, and they will get a chance.
They will sit next to Pop whoever has the highest bid,
So that'll be up to you guys blindly to see
what happens there. So good luck all of you guys
that are competing for that. For those of you who
are interested, I know we have Shad Johnson Indian. If

(01:47:05):
there's anyone else that wants to be included that, please
reach out asap because we want to transfer these tickets
as soon as possible. So yes, real quick, a couple
of questions here, resass does anyone know if Corley got cut?
He has not gotten cut yet. Again, they've only made
about seven or eight cuts, so Corley has not been
cut yet. But I would imagine that's that's coming up.

(01:47:27):
I mentioned that's coming up, but appreciate the question. Let
me see if I missed anything else. Yeah, the other
person we have on here that is bidding for the
hop on Pop seat, like I said, is my boy
Shad Johnson, who's coming to the game. So there's two
people right now at least, And like I said, we'll
do a silent bid towards the Wounded Warrior Project and

(01:47:49):
whoever bed the most, we'll win that spot and we'll
transfer over those tickets accordingly. Well, everybody, I want to
thank you so much for joining us on the show
again for a near two hour show. Here, beautiful, we
have seven hundred people in the room, unbelievable. Seven hundred
plus five hundred and seventy five on Twitter, which we appreciate,
and one hundred and thirty four on YouTube. Baby like

(01:48:10):
the video. That's a freeway to contribute. Another freeway to
contribute is to subscribe again. We're trying to make it
chase to eight thousand subscribers. I'd love to get there
before the season opener, which is two weeks from today
for the New York Jets. So again, subscribe on YouTube,
YouTube dot com, slash boy Green two five. We have
Jets content every bleeping day on this channel. Thank you

(01:48:31):
everybody for tuning in, and we'll see you tomorrow morning.
Nick Ferry, our Jets beat reporter, will join us at
eight o'clock. Can't wait. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
Thank you everybody, and we'll see you, okap
