Speaker 1 (00:01):
Set and match, shut the gate, going to do it again?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Should I come when you had a good evening? You
are here with boys get paid on your Thursday evening
coming at you live from the Export Beer Garden studio
on another group. One day of racing with Hastings on
Saturday and Tadapa tomorrow. Looks looking like you should be
(00:27):
on a yacht. What's going on here? Luke? How are
you mate? Brighton here mate, it's fantastic. I like your
notorious b I G sunglasses. Thanks mate. Thanks? Where are yours? Dan? Yeah?
I don't know any mate.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
He looks like he should be in the like in
the French ocean.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, a super yacht, some.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Sort of super yacht with a little slung over jumper
in the vest.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
It's all the trend day. Put it out the neck
or a tyring your waist.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
It's perfect mate. You look very good as always. Thanks mate.
Thanks very much to everybody for joining us. As always,
we are looking forward to getting stuck in tonight. We
had a fantastic day out at Allesley last Saturday. It
was great to be at the return to Ellslie. Well
done to everybody that was involved with that. It was
a hell of a day's racing. Everyone will agree the
winners were coming from left, right and center on that
track and it played really really well, particularly after all
(01:13):
that rain that we had that week, so I think
that was a really successful return down. It was awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, it was, mate, and it was so good to
see the tracks play so fairly. They literally came from everywhere,
and it was I thought it was a really even
day of racing. Winners come up the inside, they came
down the outside, they came in front, they came from back,
and it looked like the horses, you know, really did
get their toe. And it was a different sounding track
(01:39):
like last year. It sounded quite like hard and echoey,
but this year didn't quite sound the same.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
So it seems like they maybe you've got it sorted.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Absolutely it was. You're exactly right. They were coming from
absolutely everywhere. Thank you very much. As as always, like
we said, we want to get everybody in the comments.
We want to know going to win the Arrowfield Studplate
this Saturday. Sorry, my mind was tracking off elsewhere thinking
about Son of Some winning at twenty six dollars Italy.
But we do want to know who's going to win
(02:10):
the Arrowfield Stud Plate. We will get to that at
some point in terms of going through that race of
letting you know who we think will win it, but
make sure you do get in the comments as always,
let us know your best bet, let us know the
Arrowfield Stud Plate winner this weekend, Like Dan was saying,
great day at Allesley and we talked about the King
of the Pump last Thursday, and Luke, you just continued
to be the king of the punt last weekend mate
(02:32):
at Allsleye. In particular, Lubron that you called out on
the pod last week got the job done.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
I can't remember that, to be honest. No, I wasn't
that deep. Yeah, she good win, really really good win
from Leubron as well. Set sort of three wide. I
thought all first up when we saw it, we actually
probably had about the four hundred, like, ah shit, this
this will be the undoing. But no, good to see
that horses come back. There's a big rapper around. I
still feel like it did something a little bit wrong
(02:58):
and that lasts one hundred meters. They and just about
got beat and I thought it had got beat by Pericles.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Maybe was it that Pericles yetside?
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, and Twain was a huge run as well, but
no Lubron held on and good money. I think it
might have paid six bucks on the day. Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah, yeah it did, and you were a you had
a fantastic hour there as well, because obviously I can't
remember if it was before or afterwards, mate, but JBG
you were best bit after just after absolutely clean them up.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, jbjesus water bloody when that was crushed into about
three dollars something as well. So the money was on
we got the good price tipping it out nice and
early Thursday, and on the best of BGP as well,
so I think we might have got four fifty at
a minimum.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I think I got six dollars on the odds surge
about fifteen minutes before the race. Shit, oh, right after Luberon,
I got six dollars. Then it got crushed in.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I see they've have got your account marked mate.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
That is hot. Events.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Luberon turned around my day like it was. It was
on a steep, steep trajectory into the ground and then
Luberon and then JBG and then it just all went
uphill from there.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah. Mate, I'm glad you found a winner act because
he must have buying you puer of pants because missus
is telling you what you can.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
What you're referring to is this two and a half
thousand dollars multi son of son?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Who does that? Why did you multi together?
Speaker 3 (04:18):
JBG and son of son? What a sound of some
paying twenty two, twenty seven, twenty seven. You tipped it
out on the pod. Yep, you've had a you're a
screaming at home on the instant.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
And tip it out on the pod?
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Remember, oh yeah, yeah some hero in the comments old
bloody noah underscore tall, oh yeah, shut up? Yeah yeah,
but no you did mate, good, good little push and
I see a couple of people actually becked it.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
So how good. We were very very happy for you
after all of these multis that you've thrown on over
long periods of time, paying five thousand to one hundred
thousand dollars and just messing out on all of them.
And then you get your multi home, you go and
tell your messages, you're all really excited. She's like, I
don't give a fuck down, let's go home.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Up.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah that was it, yep.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
So yeah, bought bought right back down to reality real
quick and taken home.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
You didn't even get one last bounce on the bouncy car.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
S eight in the car did that CON's epicant time
in Elsie though, surely.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah, I think they enjoyed themselves. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
One of my sons got a bottle of Fanther and
they shook it up and sprayed it all over everything,
so everyone was Everyone was sticky covered in Fanta and
it was a good ride.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
The other one tipped it over as well. He was
that the same. Oh yeah, yeah, I rode it the
pink gum boots. So do you let me know where
to get a pair of those Stevens is it came out?
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I'm into it. Exceptionally stylish. That was yeah, I totally agree.
I really enjoyed those. Next time he cut on them too,
he loves it. Yeah, hey, let's raise seven at Ellesleie.
We we had Campionessa or kiss shrew Habana, the whole
lot of them. I think I got on habana. I
can't remember what you fellows got on the leg up.
(05:52):
People's boosts was all care stral or Kischell couldn't get
the job done, and Bloody Shamus did at thirty one
dollars as well. So that was Yeah, that was a
real upset.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Been hard to follow Shamus, hasn't it. But the punters
who have stayed loyal with that horse would have been
rewarded with a great quote. But yeah, I think punters
got burnt with Orchestral.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
First up, it was always for me. I feel maybe
she could be vulnerable, obviously easy to say. On the
other side, I went the way Habana. It didn't matter.
I thought it was a pretty good run from Habana.
But yeah, obviously one to follow. But yeah, I think
we'll see more from Orchestral. Obviously they've obviously got a
massive opinion of her and they're really trying to look
after her and really sniper like, you know, pickoff targets
(06:35):
that they want. So yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing
what they know what scalp they do end up taking,
because I'm sure with Roger James and the crew there, they.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Will get it right. Yeah, I wouldn't have been too
upset with the run. I thought it was coming home
really well. It's probably kind of what I expected to happen,
to be honest, I thought it would just be booming home.
Over forty hundred meters is going to be a bit
short headline really well.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah, yeah, and it's sort of probably picked on, and
it's run about one hundred hour. Like at the three
hundred it sort of looked like, oh wow, it might
gather them up here, but then it's sort of like
peaked on its run and then ran into a little
bit of a wall. So it's definitely going to improve
second up. But when I went back and looked at
that race a few times, the first eleven horses home
all didn't disgrace themselves like I thought.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
They all ran.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I think they all finished within about four lengths of
each other. The first eleven. There were only two that
dropped off the back. The other one that I went,
I think went a huge race, and there was Ruddyard
and I'm looking forward to him progressing because I thought
he went real well up to the sixteen hundred. Maybe
somewhere down south, Hello, hello fourteen bucks.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Now I think fourteen the tab mile?
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah? Oh wow? Oh Boby Fike's pennies. At one point
I think we thought it was going to win that race.
And there was another one. Was it what you wish for?
That we were all screaming for, and Steve O was
obviously there that.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Was son of Sun's race.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Oh was it okay? So the Sun came down the inside.
But with about two hundred meters to go, I could
feel Steve O I can shake in my hand, right,
he was happy with it. There was some Yeah it
was I really thought that that was gonna win. But
Ted also Ted also found some winners on the day
over in Australia, Positivity and Jimmy Starr. He had Gringotts
(08:13):
who got undone by a twenty six dollars winner. But
Jimmy Starr was absolutely massive and same as Positivity, which
Ted didn't tip out. But some good kis winning over there.
It was awesome.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah, yeah, Positivity was a I think it was was
it fourteen dollars jeep a screen?
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Was it the same the start before? I think it
ran top four start before? Didn't it was paying good money. Yeah,
that's right.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
We were a surprise first up that it would go
that it did so well and it yeah, nearly nearly
got the chockey. So maybe Corfield Cup for that horse
and be awesome to have a Kiwi in the Corfield Cup.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
That'd be really exciting.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
I think Andrew Forsman even surprised at how well it's
going and this quickly. But speaking of Teddy also had
his best bet get Home on Friday, which I think
filled up a few punters my any bell. That was
a great bet won well too, didn't it. He was
messing me throughout the day. I think he was a
bit nervy.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Oh shit, not sure.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Don't know about this track and stuff. Don't worry about it,
tid mate, They are all over it home. You get
right on Elliot on board ten out of ten ride.
That was a fucking great ride, like to take it
back and then get to the outside where he knew
the track was better.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Smart. Yeah, Tidd's found another one for Friday tomorrow as well,
and the best bits when we get to it a
little bit later on, I might have right Elliott riding
it as well, so stay tuned for that. Speaking of
best bitch, shout out to Joel. What did you call
Joel's best bit from last week? I am I am me? Yeah,
Joel's juice.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
We need Joel's juice again, missing said, come on, get
you juicing.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah, yeah, I love that name. Apparently he was hanging
out with Kirk cake Well on Saturday night Adam after
the races. He absolutely loves it, didn't he.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Yeah, and they were, they were, they were having a
good night following in some Australian horses. He did ask
me this afternoon when I said, I was coming to
the stream, hey mate, to give you anything to give
to the lads, And I said, no, I'm sure they'll
be fine.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
We were there drinking with that the tab bar.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Oh that down there, I didn't see.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
I didn't see Kirk Caate well and Jackson Ford yeah,
Jackson holding.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
I've seen a couple of them wait, Egans frequents the
one up as well as the assistant coach, Justin Morgan,
who I think's left now. But they're quite regularly up
there on the pokes and drinking a coke of course
and then having a bit. Whether or not you're allowed
to let people know that public isn't.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
It's probably just supervising, i'd say, mate, supervising a sindow
or something.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Look, they're Australians. It's what Australians do. It's in the blood. Yeah,
so it's a great place to be two.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Fifty though, that'd be fucking dirty about that. Do you
guys ever see any advertising out of Australia. Chances are
you will lose at the end of everything everything you
quite like, oh ship man, I was pumped a big
back there. Now I'm like, oh, okay, well you just
said it was a good chance. Now you told me
the chances are I'm going to lose.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Yeah, well, chances are you going to lose on the
race this year? Come on? How good? Absolutely devastated lads,
and I know that everybody was to what happened there.
You thought a little bit unlucky. I just can't do
it again.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
I thought, I thought, when i've I've looked back a
couple of times, he definitely was a little bit unlucky,
but he had the back of nest egg and then.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
He ended up like a little bit flat footed.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
And at one point it probably about the three hundred
nest Egg got like a length on him or a
length and a half, and that was literally the difference.
But I thought, Narraus told nesty again and I thought, oh, well,
he could just follow him and get around them. But yeah,
I can't chase any more money on him, like I
just can't.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Like he's he's burnt me coming to Melius Jewel, hasn't it.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Like, you asshole, you absolute.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Assholee she's gone around this week. Oh I don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Oh hey, punting superstitions? Does anyone have any? Let us
know in the comments, because when I got on course,
the first horse I saw was Nesty. I looked to
my right, walk through the gates of the Biggie saw Nestig,
big gray horse. Thought oh yet, and there's a little
bit of a superstition from some people.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
I think the goat might go by this.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
He's like, you're back the first horse you see in
the first jockey you see, and then I saw Sam. Yeah,
the boys Witherly as well. But you didn't have a
day out but near dig one. I'm like, I get.
But it just made me think, does anybody have any
punting or race day superstitions that they have out there?
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I got a pair of red Undies that are often
like wearing. You guys have dreams about horse racing, So
maybe there's some superstitions in there somewhere.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yeah, I've got a lot going on my lid. I've
actually got a pair of jockeys that are like blue.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
They're like a.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Bloom laptops there.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
I call these ones my molly Blooms.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
All the punters that can't.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
They got flowers on them. I call them my Molly bloomers.
So I nicknamed my jockeys. I've got a bit on
I told you. But anyway, I've got a red pair
for race day, usually with those to kak a million
and yeah that's about me. My mate will back the
last and the last. He always has a bit on
the last horse in the last race. That's his what
he does.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Have you got anything, Dan.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
No, multi multi everything, just multi everything.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
My superstition now is just follow Luke. And that's no
disrespect to anybody else. But when somebody's on form, you
follow them. May you?
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Oh you got to one hundred percent? Like I just yeah,
it's unbelievable. It just keeps fucking finding winners.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
We're going to really test it this week though. Yeah.
Well there's some tough fields, isn't there. But the other
person that you follow on a Sunday at Maya Karata,
holy shit, lads. I was busy on Sunday because I was,
you know, my wife was having a weekend off looking
after so I'm looking after Max and I didn't have
any time to punt. But I saw the scare men's
tips and I thought, shit, should I just put a
multi on those?
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Fuck?
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Why didn't I? What do these people make? There's multi?
Speaker 1 (13:49):
I think from ten dollars?
Speaker 2 (13:50):
It was like our rate. I was like, holy shit,
look at that.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I saw a five or two, a four hundred dollars
and that was just like a few of them that
I skimmed.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Just grass harness, grass harness. Oh I wor absolutely day out.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
It's like if you if you bit on those multis
every single week of the season, and you're gonna win
five grand on one, you're going to come out on top,
So you might as well just give it a crack
if you've got the cachet.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Yeah, yeah, that seems that simple.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Chances are you're about to lose. True.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
True, Hey, we're obviously responsible round here. I don't think
people are silly with the punting in Zealand is Australia.
I think the average spind on beating EI Zealand's sixty
dollars a year.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Well, yeah, that's outside a lotto and stuff. Who's that? No, No,
it's a year.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Yeah, it's about the average.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Holy let us know how much you're punting here. Direction
of a specialist sort it out, because.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
That's like you and your accounting for all the kids
that are at your kids daycare.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, it's one dollar for each of them. Absolutely really
took us off, trick.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
But yeah, the grass harness on the Sunday, the boys
and the harness was love lighting up the Sunday. Like
there'll be a Wednesday and they'll be fucking firing up
with the chat about I've got this thing on Sunday,
Mike My, It's like, I don't know what is it
with Sunday.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Sunday is the value Like all the all the really
good horses tend to race on Friday. Yeah, and not
saying that none of the good horses race on Sunday,
but it's like that's where you can find your value.
I think like the best horses, the best stables, best
drivers all tend to be operating together on the Friday night,
and so Sunday is often where you find like the
lower and middle class horses where yeah, you can you
(15:35):
can tend to find, you know, some value runners.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
I enjoyed that it's like Friday or Saturday morning at
BGP approved Post right Sunday, Oh man, I'm getting myself
fired up for a big day and the gallops and
someone the Harness has got this lengthy Sunday riders sucking
to this. I'm like, oh, okay, okay, I'll worry about
that tomorrow. But then by then the price is gone.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
The thing I don't understand about it as well as
how are we racing on heavy tracks at today Aproa
on a Friday? But much you could on a Sunday
is fucking good for the grass? Hardness? Every week? I
don't get it. Where is I think it's christ so
it's a beautiful part of the world. It's not volcanic,
is it. So maybe on a Saturday, but good on
(16:16):
a Sunday. The best thing.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
About racing is that you know you're.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Talking about the blue jockeys that you get to.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Also, I saw the drivers of the Harness wearing blue pants.
Yeah yeah, But then it's like, oh, yeah, the mot
having a bit at the mot. I don't even know
where is Little Loone the Mot, but I know what
the nicknames are of these places. But no idea in
South Island somewhere. I need to get down there.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Sure, it's a beautiful part of the world. Lands. We've
got something on the run sheet here about the Sydney
offer for epsom days.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Good.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, I'm hidden off to the Grand Final next weekend,
I think it is.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Is it next weekend?
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Doing it again after the week after? I think it's
next weekend and producer out of.
Speaker 5 (16:59):
Note simmis this week and it should be Grand Final
the following year.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
So boys trip of take a tour over each year, right,
And they've just gone full hog and have hired a
whole suite at Ramwick and they have set everyone right well.
On the Saturday you go to the races and everyone's like,
oh okay, sweet. But I think a lot of these
people don't realize, you know, they go into a suite
at Ramwick, but there are some spear seats available. So
myself and my mate Josh over there, we're going to
(17:24):
be running a little punter's club in the room. Nice
and yeah, we go out and watch each of the
races is a big screen. We have all the New
Zealand racing going as well, so we're having a few
bets left, right and center and there are some spare spots.
I just thought, well, if anybody's tuning in from Sydney
or know someone in Sydney that might want to come
along for the day. It is quite expensive because it's
Australian racing. I think it's about three forty for a ticket,
(17:45):
but it's all inclusive and there's a bar in the room.
It's yeah, you want to be wearing your number ones,
that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
That's how i'd put it.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
And I think by Ron Baker's box is right next door.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
What do you smiling that?
Speaker 1 (17:57):
I'm just think getting someone from New Zealand house.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Dan, I've been invited to that. This sounds like it's
ultimate day out. Dan's allowed out mate.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
I'm going home tonight and I'm asking can I come?
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (18:12):
So then we go to the Grand Final the next day.
So then you did this last year, didn't you. It's
an amazing too. There's a bone cruise on the Sunday.
You go out on the harbor and just sink a
couple of beers. You get off there, you get on
a bus, you go to the Grand Final. You were
you Worry's top? Say how fucking you next year?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
Boys? These stickheads again? Last year it was believable to
say that. Now it's just yeah, we were that.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
I can just come for the Saturday. That sounds up.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
And forty dollars as well for a full day out.
I mean Raanwick. I don't know what it was all.
It was all tied up in the package for us
for the everest, but shit, I had three hundred and
forty bucks for a day on the beers. Three beers
for three hundred and forty But that sounds great.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Yeah, yeah, full meal, it's a buggain. Last year I
was going there to the Punters Club. This lady, it's
a older lady. She said to me, don't you feel
bad losing everyone's money?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
That's right?
Speaker 1 (19:01):
And I ended up putting a breadstick on her table.
I said, I'll get stuck into this girl.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
You'll be right. But anyway, we managed to break Heaven
in the last roe a lid.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
On. That's only after a few years, and I see
weople abusing us in the comments. But hopefully she's not
there this year. But yeah, I don't think it's as
big of a crew as last year. But anyway, I'll
be over there so we'll get some content or see
if we can get a little bit of bully from
over there in Sydney as well and get some socials
going please do.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Dan, you go home and just check out if you
can make it there or not, one place you can
make it to stick with us out there people. We
are going to get to the racing this weekend. Gee.
We're going to go through the Hawks Bay Guineas on
Saturday as well as the Arrowfield Stud Plate. The lads
have found plenty at Tarapa tomorrow as well, so make
sure you keep your comments coming in. We want to
know who's going to win the Arrowfield Stud Plate and
what your best bet is as well. This weekend we
(19:49):
will get to that. But just before we do that,
we've obviously got the King of the Punt coming up
in a couple of weeks. We've got Cup Week Kadaka
millions tickets. Jeez, I'm hearing from Luke the start room.
We're at the Empire teven with some great service and
some great stakes. But the tickets are about to fly
out the door as well. So yeah, Dan, how are
we going with King of the Punt made? Are we already?
(20:10):
You've got a podcast out tomorrow? Is that right?
Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:11):
We do.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Yeah, we're going to go live actually, me and the Goat.
I'm going to be asking the Goat all the questions
about the king of the punt. So I'm going to
be chatting to him and trying to understand the rules,
clarifying the rules and what you have to do minimum turnover,
and then I might start asking a little bit a
few question because Goat's done quite a lot of punting competitions,
(20:33):
so I was quite keen just to get some insights
from I've actually never been in a punting competition before,
apart from the three dollar each way ones that we
used to do. No, I've never been in a punting
competition before.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Are you just going to load up on Malti's.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Fucking hundred percent I had.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
I'm going to find some twenty seven dollars shots, multi
them with a third end dollar shot and.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Whin the whole thing. Yeah, with the whole lover meet
your base camp. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
No.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
So I'm going to do that live tomorrow with Goat
and just hopefully just share some more insights on the
types of thing that tend to see people win, because
I'm surely you can't just be like going all in
on the first race you win that you go all
in and the next one like.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Or maybe you do, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
I don't know, but like people doing, you know, first
floors are their qualities, like what's the strategy and how
do you go about it? So I might just ask
them a few questions and try and find out a
little bit more information about that. Again, just share the
information about the prizes and then clarify the rules and
the process and how that's going to work.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Lovely, lovely, lovely stuff. I guess one thing of people
are a little bit unaware of how it works. You
you start with one hundred dollars, but you can't enter
as a team, so it could be you know, four
of you for twenty five bucks together, But as long
as it's in one tab account, that's your You know
your group. You're going to share the prize amongst. You
can work that at yourselves, but you know, buy a
ticket so that you can come along and be in
the room. You get feed and have a beer as well.
(21:49):
But also you might not You might have a mate
who wants to be a part of it, but they're
not there. But as long as you're on course, you
can be messaging them and you can be leading a
team for them if you want as well. So so
you know, if you aren't in Auckland. So I can't
make it. You can still be a part of it
if you've got someone that's going on your behalf and
having a crack.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
And the ticket's are only fifty five bucks, which I
think is really good value, like gets your meal and
the day as well to get into the room. So
if you've got some mates that want to come along
and be a part of the competition, and you just
want to come into the room and hang out, buy
a ticket, like come in to the room, enjoy the atmosphere,
be a part of it.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
You don't.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Just because you buy a fifty five dollars ticket doesn't
mean that you have to put up one hundred dollars
to be a part of Gain in the Pump.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah, true, good point. Yeah, Lian's going to be there,
isn't he From Saturday?
Speaker 1 (22:34):
He is.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
He'll give you some binoculars and let you listen to
his tab account. Such a legend. I love him that
I wish he was. We shouldn't say that, should you,
But he'd be a great granddad. Shut up him with
his binoculars in the phone listening to it.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I was just like, that's just that's what legends are
made of. You cannot fucking make that stuff up.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
Did you get him set up on his TV account?
Or I delegated that down to tears test? Can I
get a game? We couldn't. I feel bad.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
I was coping and pasting his password and I was like,
ship man, this is how people end up in trouble
for scamming the elderly.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Honestly, if you haven't met Lean yet, he'll be there
at ken of the punt. He's been at many BGP
events and he is an absolute legend. Just loves his
horse racing and he knows so much about it. We
spent the whole day with him on Saturday. I really
appreciated him.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
I was like holding his phone up to his face
to unlock it, and shit, I thought, oh man, I'm
going to get a tap on shelter.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Oh shit, you're a scammer. Yeah, yeah, I know.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Someone's going to be like, oh is going to come
over and just get stuck in the shares A distributives.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
He run into the heral together. Hey, Lens, I'm looking
forward to Cup week in a few weeks time as well.
Have we got any progress on there or just the
as we said last week? We've got the dogs. Yeah,
no there, yeah, we go to the.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Pups and yeah, so one hundred and seventy dollars all inclusive,
all your food or your drinks. Your email Sarah is
a are a h at christ Church Greyhounds dot co
do and in Z. Not sure on the ticket update
for that, but we have got tickets for sale for
the Harness as well, and I think we've sold over
twenty tickets already for the Harness on Friday, which is
pretty good considering we're still you know, a decent way out.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, how many can we have?
Speaker 1 (24:14):
It?
Speaker 2 (24:15):
The heart one hundred.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
They said that they will increase it if we need to,
but they said it'll be a tight squeeze, so one
hundred is going to be like sort of max for
for that area. So it's really just first and first
serve and that's one hundred and fifteen bucks. And it's
food throughout the day, so they're serving like some some
burghers and stuff and then like Wagoo pies and stuff
throughout the day to keep people fueled throughout the day.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
And then there's also four.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Wagon beefy yeah, and then and four drinks as well.
I love how we don't call them savories. It's just
a sak and cheese wago beef.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
It makes sound a bit more PREMI all those people
in the mainland, the buddy matsu Kadara mongrels and the
bloody christ cowborn cowards.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Get along. That'll be around. Yeah, surely long What have
you got for? What's the one that starts with k
kahaka million? Up the road? Up the road? Oh, I
don't worry. They do the while watching their cold.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah, you'll be colder Kingpins. They'll be coming. They'll be right.
I am very nervous about the Saturday are you are
you guys? Why Thursday night? Friday night? You know, once
you get down there, mate, you're just a part of it.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
You get up, you get down for breakfast, you look
over and someone's having a bloody corona to You're right.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
You're like, oh, okay, I just go.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
Yesterday now, we were out to about four and you're like,
oh shit, man, I was I sort of winding down
at four PMU What are you meaning?
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Four am? Yes, they just go down there.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
You'll be tied up with the punters club to mate,
hopefully mate, that's right. Won't stop me whoever we go,
whoever go Saturday night. But yeah, I'll be I'll be
smart throughout the week.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Good, good, and we'll always be having a go at
the Kraka Million's mate. You said to me tonight there's
a lot of interest. Yeah, I think there might be
two hundred od tickets gone already.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
So there are eight point fifty and we know that
the cells out, so we're trying to get through all
the people who were there last year and all the
people that have been there in prior years. So if
you have not seen a ticket link, then you need
to let us know because we don't want you missing out. Now.
Someone actually said to me, oh, we actually just found
it on the LSI website, which we need to be careful.
The public could get a hold of it because it's
a very very good ticket. When it's only one hundred
(26:15):
and fifty, you get four beers and a meal plus
the atmosphere and entry and gas now fifty dollars, So
it is I believe, the best value ticket on the track,
so I'd imagine people will start snapping it up as well.
So if you do need that, then there's app notifications
gone out today. Email us if you haven't seen it.
You can get it for your friends and your family
and it will go wider from next week.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
It's always the highlight of the racing year. We never
know what's going to happen this year in terms of highlights,
because obviously O he's got the Kiwi as well. But
the Karaka Millions will always and forever be the original
Big Old Night and I'm sure that will continue this year.
And some of those horses that are going to be
racing at the Karaka Millions Night could be racing this
Saturday at Hastings as well. So let's rip into some
(26:57):
of the racing. Dan's obviously found something else to bet
on this week or what's ending? What have we got? Oh? Nothing?
Speaker 3 (27:03):
I probably just need to have a chat Alsley and
teach them how to set up no index, no follow.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Oh right over you just get them under your wing
and get them into your business. Mate. Saturday, back into it.
We are down for Day two of the Spring Carnival.
Day one was absolutely outstanding. It was a good track.
Looks like we're going to have a good track this
Saturday as well, which is bloody exciting. This too, very
very good races and amongst some other good races too,
(27:29):
But the first one of those is race five, which
is the Hawks Bay Guineas. And this is as usual,
looking like a bloody, tough race to pick, but Captured
by Love is the favorite. Savagely was absolutely massive, superfuton foton.
Last start was three wide. The trip Unbridled Joys coming
(27:50):
from twenty one to god knows what. There's a lot
of horses here. Unbridaled Joy has been scratched. Fuck as me. Sorry.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
I've had so many futures bits this season that have
just been roll bold. I nearly made a joke when
we were told to have a crack at this the
other day. I was going to say, oh, well, let's
stop another one in the futures and I was like, no,
IHO didn't say that.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
So you had all of these multis on before everyone got.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
On Saturday or no, So I becked Unbridled Joy in
the futures?
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yeah? And then who was the other horse that came out?
Good horse? Yeah, moved strike. It moves to strike just anyway.
So I'm really excited for this race.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
I've seen Mbrodo Joy come out when I was driving
in and I just completely forgot it. I was I
had a cracking it the other day when the goat said, oh,
told us I was keeping it okay.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
The goat said that Hope was going to be riding,
so it won't be paying twenty one dollars. It was
right at nine fifty six this morning. How edic champions
going to win?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Oh, Matt cart right on your favorite jockey after Saturday,
the two Mets.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Were just ride of the season.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Outside of that whatever he's been flying, Matt can right,
yeah he can ride. Hey, what a field and what
a race. This is always a good race and it's
won by a good, good horse. So who is that
good good horse? Is it super Photon? Is that the
bully that we've had. We've had the push in the
direction from McNabb, We've had the Marsh stable telling us
(29:21):
that this is the horse to follow, and Marsh's comments
and the camp seem to be quite favorable towards this horse.
But you're getting a huge quote. The book is heavily
against it. But Weatherly, maybe that man he can write
his own weather and get it home. But savagely or
super Photon, that's the way that I was going when
(29:44):
thinking about a future's bet. Once I actually think savigly
will win it. I think this horse is just is
very good and four dollars forty not much, not much
to get excited about. But the two a forty favorite
down the bottom they're captured by love. Phillies don't normally
(30:05):
win this race from memory, so I think it's going
to have to be against the statistics, but doesn't mean
that it can't happen. But anyway, I'm going to go
sevgly just purely on form and how well it has
been running. I think last night was obviously pretty eye catching,
but for me that looks like the elite horse in
the race, and keen to see how super Photon goes.
(30:27):
I'll definitely be having something on and just looking at
my betsess race. I already have something on because I
don't want to miss out with all of the height
that we've had around this horse. So I'm going to
take the favorite on foolishly or not. Let us know
in the comments.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
No, that's fair enough, Dan, where are you looking mate? Interesting?
Speaker 3 (30:47):
You mentioned the statistic or not the statistic, but you
mentioned about captured by love Philly hasn't won this race
for twenty two years.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Oh, first, for everything, I guess well, yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Two jousen.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
I think it was when the last that won this race,
so it's not in her favor, and the fact that
she's backed into two dollars forty either, the camp are
extremely confident in everyone around it knows that this horse
is just on another level. Or maybe it's just the
Walker Burgerson, you know, maybe just like Waiting. It did
(31:20):
go really good sectionals last start Captured by Love, but
there wasn't much difference between Captured by Love and Savage Lee,
and I think they went a lot harder earlier, potentially
from in the Savage Lee race. Savic Lee was really
unlucky to get pushed back the way it did and
then storm over the top of them, drawing sex. I
(31:42):
think hopefully it's going to be a little bit closer
and might just get the right drag into it this time,
the one that I am probably going to have a
save a bit. So I'm betting on Savage Lee, but
I'm going to have a save a bit on so Naive.
I thought this horse looked.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Real good at at ru Real Carker.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
I think it was, and it actually it looks like
a serious race horse this one, so I wouldn't be
surprised to see this horse come out and maybe just
beat them up, and he might just be the best
horse of this crop, but he also might not be.
So I think those are the two that I'll go
for or have Sevaglee, and then I have a Savor
on so Naive nice.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
There's one of three races at horse, isn't it. Yeah,
it was really good last starts. It's surprising here. Yeah,
I thought I liked to capture by Love in the
race on day one, but I didn't think it was
so much better than say Savagely, that it was going
to be two dollars shorter than it. I thought it
would probably open up about four dollars and they'd all
(32:40):
be roughly in the same place. So there's no chance
captured by a Love at two forty we'll be taking
any of my small money that I would put a
bit on. But I thought Savagely looked like it's sort
of ready for sixteen hundred as opposed to fourteen hundred,
which might be a little bit of a concern. But
you can't help but miss that finachet like that was
exceptional in the starts before that as well been exceptional
(33:00):
I think poetic Champion, I'm not quite sure. I think
the surprise factor might be gone now. They probably won't
let it run how it did that race. I'm going
to stick with super Photon. It was three wide the
trip in that last race and that's bloody tough to
do the start before that. Like Luke you said, I
think on the last podcast, Topol probably doesn't really suit it.
It sort of needs a little bit of a longer
(33:20):
straight than that barrier too. It should just get an
absolutely ideal trip and you know, between Sevagally and super Photon,
I'm going to take the thirteen dollars on super Photon
and hope that it wins. But Savagally it could be
a good bit now for the either one thousand or
two thousand guineas, depending on what it's going for.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
What are you guys reckon two thousand guineas? Yeah, yeah,
two thousand guineas. I think it's a cult, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (33:42):
Yes? Is it going down there? I think so.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
I think that's what they're they're they're planning on doing
bloody But I wouldn't mind.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
Also, I wouldn't mind seeing super Photon the way it
runs on in this race, because that looks like a
horse that's going to get sixteen hundred. So that horse
looks to be finishing off nicely. I think I'll probably
have have a little nudget that over the two thousand guineas.
Now that all my fucking multis are smoked because move
the strokes gone.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Here's something really interesting about this all sevgly now good
track not so great. That's that's probably going to be
something that's going to frighten the punters. But clockwise versus
anti clockwise, So clockwise four starts for nothing and it's
that's right.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
So we're thinking you look at it or as the
horse looks at.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
It around so we're thinking alsie clockwise and then anti
clockwise are looking at Hastings strength them mat.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
So four starts clockwise and it's run fourth once.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Anti clockwise five starts three wins and it's run a
second as well, so performs better anti clock wise.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Yeah that's Hastings where it's going. That's good. Yeah. Yeah,
it's the thing, isn't that left handed and right handed runners? Yeah?
As Ted mate, he'll tell you, he'll bring you now.
He knows all about it. He knows a lot ted
spitting on here. I reckon, he's still tossing it up.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
You know, I think the horses are like humans where
they have a dominant hand, like a dominant left hand
and the dominant right hand, maybe stronger on one side
or the other.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
And I think they talked about imperature is getting on
the strong leg and the sprinting hard and your.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
Dominant because you know this was coming down. She owns
you've been waiting for this, brilliant competent, you compent.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
I absolutely love it, right.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
I think it was today when I couldn't go to
rapid Tomorrow's Oh yeah, you're fuck so what strong hand?
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Left handed? Left hand?
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Yah, so we're good to go.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah is that what you're saying, But that's exactly what
was saying. But a good track, good track, scary.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
I think we're going to get a good track down
at Hastings.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Either way, it's going to be one hell of a bit.
Keep your out of a race, keep your comments coming
in everybody, let us know we're going to get to
the Arrowfield stud plate. Now you let us know who
you think is going to win this as well. Let
us know your best betch We will get to the
comments after this one too. We've chatted plenty about the
three year olds. Everyone's in and around the same horses.
But geez, this Arrowfield stud Plate field has come up
(36:21):
pretty tough from what I can tell, Luke, because of
the barrier draws. It sort of threw me out a
little bit. I don't know about you.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, gee whiz, this is a bloody good field as well,
and all of the fancies have drawn poorly. Let's say,
even a horse like skew Whiff, which I think a
lot of people were probably thinking, right, that's the future's punt.
I've becked it in the future. Some surprise to see
it's lining up, but I guess we had to copper
bead draw. It almost sounds like we've skew Whiff, that
(36:50):
everything will need to go its way and it'll be
cuddled up and it's only got a short sprint, I
think is what Mark Walker might have said.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
And that's a bit scary, and.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
I think that's probably why we're getting that four dollars
twenty and a dollar ady, but a good track.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
What do you do?
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Do you rule out Mustang Valley straight away for insurance?
Speaker 4 (37:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:10):
You would have to on those those on that form
al venza or second up, so it's one two from
four second up. Okay, I could sow six bucks anyway,
where am I going?
Speaker 5 (37:22):
I becked?
Speaker 1 (37:24):
I was actually pretty keen on Pearl of our Sace however,
second up.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
But I know that this won't be the target, right.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
The target will be the liver mole, and I think
that they will be trying to get this horse ready
to pop that up, So I don't know what it
is in the futures for that.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
So yeah, I think that'll run.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
It'll be flashing home and booming home, and I think
it'll probably go better than it's quote.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
But can it win.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Probably not, given that it might be a little bit underdone.
So I'm going to stick with skew Worth, just purely
on the class. If you look at this and think, okay,
you know who who would you look at that and
go who's the best horse in this field? You would
assume that it would be skew Worth, right, So it
probably deserves to be favorite.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
But there's a couple of horses that could upset it, like.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Even fairly Oni, but we drew out in Burrier ten
and then even ol vins at all, like that just
gets to the front bowls along and Joe Doyle puts
the foot down, then we could be in big trouble.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
There's been a few of these running around, like fairly
one moult Time town Crier over the last year that
have just been niggling away at the group one day
and they've just been running second, third, fourth. I think
I don't think any of them, excuse me if they have.
I don't think any of them won a group one,
but they've been right there or thereabouts. And Fairlyoni was
the same in the Tarzino Jesus drew barrier too and
it was such a good run and it almost got there.
(38:42):
But that sort of makes it quite quite difficult, doesn't it. Dan?
Speaker 3 (38:46):
Yeah, Yeah, those ones have been bubbling away, you know,
like mould Time went huge. What was that sixteen hundred
meter race at Wellington that the tab classic, Yeah, that
fucking shit show.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Did it jump out of the gates earlier? It was
one of the ones that stuck in the gates. But
it's a.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Screamed home, screamed home in a couple of big races
really nicely, but in this race I have put it
down to draws, and I think that the barrier draws
might be the undoing for horses like mult Time and
skew With and Farrelione. So I think our Vince Edor
is a great bet hair because he is two wins
(39:23):
second up and he goes good on a good track,
but also the distance as well.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
He's had four starts for a winner, second and a third,
so he goes good.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
But I thought he was huge first up at ryal
carkatt to sit three wide. Yes, malt Time blew over
the top of him late, but he had no business
fresh up on an off track sitting three wide the
trip and sticking on like he did. So he was
a black booker from from Ted that day. So I'm
going to go with al Vincidor. But one a couple
(39:52):
that I'm not willing to throw away yet is Maliston.
And I'm surprised that he's so short at seven dollars fifty,
but he was. He had the red line on his
head that last run he flew home. Did he come second?
He flew home from so far back and then they've
wrapped him in cotton wool and not gone to the Tarzano,
and they've gone straight to this race, so I think
(40:12):
the sixth step up to sixteen hundred, but I could
quite easily see Mali Stein maybe even getting a sit
in behind al Vincit or getting off him late, and
potentially if they're going quickly, being on the rails might
be the best place to be because they don't need
to go as fast as the horses that are sitting
two and three wide. The other one I'm not letting
go and I'm gonna have a bed on is Puntera.
(40:34):
I'm just I'm not I'm not going to be beaten
up by this horse again this year. I'm gonna have
something on him every start, and so I'm sticking at
the top of the book one, two, and three.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Are you gonna have a go puncher? Alok? You already have?
Speaker 4 (40:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (40:46):
I just did, Yeah I had.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
I don't think it's any good on a good track,
though that's probably gonna be able to undoing it.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
We said this about the horse over the last season.
I don't think it's got this and I don't think
it's gone.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Just for one second on a good track.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Look at yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
Yeah, yeah, they'll they'll they'll trip us up somehow and
it'll come out and kick their heads and.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Having a look.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Pearl of Our Sace is ten dollars and three dollars
twenty five for the liver mole. Now can be anesa
does it go there? Al Vincid or Mustang Valley one
Bowl Cat? I know that Ted likes one Bowl Cat,
is Linton Lass as well? And you've got horse like
dinasas or I don't even think we've.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Seen that yet.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Yeah, I think ten bucks and three dollars is a
pretty good bet for the liver mole because I think
we'll see a slashing run from Pearl of Our Sace
on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
I just love to say horse racing is so great
that you're you're betting on the race on Saturday and
then you're thinking, shit, what's happening in three weeks time?
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Foolish, isn't It's horse racing?
Speaker 2 (41:41):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
I think campianessas the plan is to go. I think
it's going next to the Autumn Cup. Where's next week?
It's Harborder.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
Oh yeah, it's a great meat.
Speaker 3 (41:49):
They're a great track is going there and then going
into Livermore track at Harward.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
That's how you get them, ready mate. The film stacks up, Yes, baby, baby.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Man in town, cry Prowess that stacked up last year,
didn't it? Snazzy Tavy ran at Harward early. What's snazzy?
Speaker 1 (42:06):
Sixteen and four to seventy five. But have a bit
on that before it keets their heads in. Sorry, well
we're still on the liver.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
I know we're in the rafil Yeah, yeah, sorry, You're right.
You made a really good point about melle Ston. But
I've been on melle Ston two or three times last
year and it just wasn't sure. Are they looking at
it sixteen hundred they're looking at for two thousand? It
was storming home quite a number of times. I know.
It won the rich Hill Mile at Ellsleie a couple
of seasons ago, really really well, and that's sixteen hundred
meter race. So shit, if they're sitting it for this race,
(42:35):
it could be very very good. I'm with you, Dan.
I think al Vincador was so good fresh up three tree,
three wide, the entire trip and just the barrierge or
it's Group one placed over sixteen hundred meters. It won
the Herbie Dyke last year beating Legado. I think in
a number of those horses too, So shit, it's obviously
a really really good horse. So I reckon six dollars
(42:56):
and two twenty five is bloody good value. I've just
seen molt Times paying five fifty. Yeah, sure, eh what Yeah,
it's real short.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
They got that right.
Speaker 1 (43:08):
They took this source to Australia, didn't they. And yeah,
Ace is riding pretty well and what's it? Yeah, it goes,
it goes pretty good. It just as it's charts. Shit,
I thought it was going to be paying about ten dollars.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
Have been on that anyway, right, So Luke, you're going
on every single option possible.
Speaker 1 (43:26):
Yeah, I'm going to take the field dollar era the
field Now, I'll put Skew Worf on top. I'll put
Skewer on top, and I'll probably what I'll do is
I'll actually take a same race multi and wmon even
just price us up now and I'll be looking at
perlevl SA's top four and a Skew whiffy top sort
of three, and that is seven dollars. It's nice, Dan,
(43:47):
I'll just go Vents on top.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
Yeah nice. I'll join you there, mate. That sounds buddy good.
Let's find out what everybody else is thinking for the
Arrowfield start and for their best bit this weekend, Adam,
It's good to have your back brother.
Speaker 5 (43:58):
Cheers mate. There's there's been a bit of chat in
here about molt time, I would say, and we'll just
say goodbye to Dan for a moment. I know he's
trying to be quiet, but you've got to kind.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Of acknowledge that got out in the front as well.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
Yeah, we've got Scottie here who is after it's a
bit rogue slipper Island Race four at the bay, that's
where he's going.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
That could be a good bit there is.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
The best bit for a couple of people is just
whatever looks on.
Speaker 4 (44:27):
That.
Speaker 5 (44:28):
It's gone from me. Now we've got pearl of our
say as we go down. Gmen called Joel says his
mum used to tell him back in the day that
horse that does a ship in the bird cage will
automatically run faster. That's the that he'said as a young.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
And that's quite practical, isn't it. It makes sense Lighter.
Speaker 5 (44:52):
We have a superstition here from Hamish and it is.
Speaker 2 (44:58):
It's dogging on you.
Speaker 5 (44:59):
Look actually I just read this properly. I used to
have a superstision if Kimmy's got carted in the weekend
of footy. I don't back my best bet from a
gentleman called Hamish.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
What's his last name?
Speaker 5 (45:08):
Lewis?
Speaker 2 (45:11):
That's rich from him.
Speaker 5 (45:14):
Scott has the same superstision as Ted always been on
the first jockey you see and arrive on course, skew, skew.
WHI on here as well? And we've got Darren here
whose best bet is tit up a race three live
a kea, oh yeah, I think. And there's a bit
(45:37):
here for malt Time as well. So you're saying there's
a bit short and there's a few people on it
by the looks of it.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
You know the horse malt Time. I think it was
named after having molt. Did your parents ever give you
guys a spoon of malt when you're growing up?
Speaker 5 (45:49):
No, no, no one, no, I did one stage. I
remember that.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Yeah, so's molt tablespoon of malt?
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Could you look that up for I don't know. Maybe
my mum was to kill me. I'm not sure.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
I thought that's what the horse is named after the
time we hate writes molt time, you're going to have
a spoonful of malt?
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Yeah? I never thought about What.
Speaker 5 (46:11):
All I remember is that it tasted average. Average is
how teaspoon of malted day?
Speaker 1 (46:17):
It was.
Speaker 5 (46:17):
An old British dietitian says that malt contains some protein
and calories and it's just good for the body and
it's just good nutrients. So maybe you're just trying to
get your foot in strong health things strong.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
Well, there you go.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
These days people are doing myth and smoking vapes.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
Back in my day, yeah, malt, well, and guinness as well.
The old British would say, guin us a day keeps
the doctor away. They Yeah, where have you been? Dan?
Speaker 1 (46:40):
Oh just had the off to the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
Now you must have been. Is it all done? Is
it all right? You must have bits for the community.
But that's okay.
Speaker 1 (46:50):
He should tip good because he just needed his bladder.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Yeah, yes, exactly. There was a theory dam that if
the horse takes a ship in the parade ring, it's
likely to win its practical punting.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
Since yeah right, hopefully, hopefully this is my week because
I haven't tipped the winner as my best bet all year.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
It doesn't matter, Dan, You've found so many winners outside
of that day. Shout out to Henry Plumtree if you're
listening to the podcast as well. Bumped into him at
the races. He said he listens to the pods, is thinking,
oh ship allegians. Yeah from from cam Yeah, it's good
to have some regular I'm sure they listened in once
and go what the talking about? Move on, right, lads,
have you got any other bits this weekend? Because okay, right,
(47:31):
I was trying to pick your guys' brains at the
Old Empire t and we had fantastic service before the podcast.
Because you guys have got a million bits on it. Tapa,
I've got a couple. But let's get to you guys
if there's anything in Tarapa or Australia that you like,
let's good or not?
Speaker 1 (47:47):
Yeah, I've multi tomorrow and I'm going to be fully
focused at work.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
Obviously.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Someone get to watch these key we Skyhawk in the
first race into Lavakia, I've had to go a gear
and race numberfore. I've smacked up a horse called Snazzy Tevy.
I've also back to horse and race number nine called
New Millennium. Now New Millennium. This will be a good
guy as to how my bis bit goes, which we'll
talk about later. But it came out of the same
race and third up it has won a race. I
(48:12):
thought it was a pretty good run last start. So
you're getting fourteen dollars. It's in a very tough field,
so you won't want to have a nibble on the
nose and then something back to forth. But check it
into the black book as well, because if it doesn't
get the job done tomorrow, I feel like it will
pick something up at some stage.
Speaker 2 (48:30):
And what else is that? That's that's about me.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
I actually was going to make a horse called Sunset
Boulevard by bit in the first race.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
It hastes what happened to that? You didn't give much feedback?
Well afresh to the odds.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
It was three dollars into two dollars forty five and
I've got to have a go and then lo and
behold like it.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Came back out to three dollars.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
So I tried to cash my bit out and they
kish me out for one hundred and twelve dollars.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
They touched you up there, eh far so annoying.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
Honestly, it's on a Wednesday, so I don't know what
it's all about.
Speaker 2 (49:02):
I'm sure they do it to mess with people. Ah,
they're a business. They know what they're doing. Yeah, they're smart,
certainly do well.
Speaker 1 (49:07):
I tell you I had a lot more money than
sixty four cents in my Taar account seven days ago.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
So really all in this weekend, good mate, I'm going
to follow you into Kiwi Skyhork. If you look at
that horse's last two runs, it's been absolutely outstanding. To
dap erase one tomorrow. And Dan, you've got some black
bookers mate, from your Monday recap. I know you've got
a few to run through here as well that you like.
But yeah, the Monday black bookers have been going good
(49:31):
to Yeah. Yeah, So there is one that we're going
to talk about a little bit later.
Speaker 3 (49:36):
So maybe I won't mention that one just now because
it is someone's best bet, but that is a black
booker from a couple of weeks ago. And one that
I noticed that the trials a few weeks ago was
Jaffi coming back and it was on the synthetic. That's
in a really strong field. So who knows what's going
to happen in that field? Is that new millenniums race?
Speaker 2 (49:54):
No, that's a different one, Master Faye wild Night, But
they might go to Hasting's Petruci's fist up and there.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
Right, Okay, so Jaffi is in race Oh yeah, so
like I backed I backed Jaffie at nine point five.
I think I got a map and I thought that
that was that was yeah, yeah, race five, No it is. Yeah, Sorry,
I just got confused because yeah, there's Producy and then
there's we will rock Master fey Wild like it's a
(50:21):
really good field Wolverine if it comes back and.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
No, no, no, that's that's just the field, and they're
all nominated for Hastings.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
To it's like, how do you make a bit using Yeah,
but so jaffe is one that I'm going to follow,
and I think at nine point fifty is worth a
bit because this horse looks classy and it could just
come out and kick their heads and and then we
go afterwards, Oh ship, why don't we bet on that?
So sleeping beg Yeah, take, I'll take a little bit
of that. But the other one was Kying Lucky as well.
That's going around this weekend and it went well last
(50:53):
start from a tough draw, but it has X factor
and could blast over the top of them.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
That's down at Rickitt and Kying Lucky.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
Shit, that's good. We've got to be bit down at
Rickorton as well, so we do have a couple to
throw out down there. Kr Yng Lucky what race at
Ricket and Dan?
Speaker 1 (51:07):
That's a good question.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Just while you're going through that. Tied likes who knows
Todapa race four? If the track stays okay, And there's
another Cambridge Stud horse actually in race eight tomorrow at Tarapa,
toss you for it's the favorite here, but frost Fear
looks like a very good horse in the Cambridge Stud
colors in race eight, So I'm going to be having
a crack at that. Dan. Where's ka Ying Lucky running?
(51:31):
And do you have any others that you like?
Speaker 1 (51:34):
I do have some others that I like. I'm still
just trying to find Kyang Lucky here.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
I wonder if one of is strath Taylor. Maybe we'll
come back to you. They won the Melbourne Cup yet
it's not in yet.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Hey, what's everyone doing for the Melbourne CuPy out there
in the listener listener ship, let us know in the comments,
send us an email.
Speaker 2 (51:54):
I heard the voice notes today. Yeah, are we settled on?
It was starting to get fired up for we were
going to post up it could still be tempted.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
Yeah, hey, there's a good race down at Rikats and
actually a horse that I think you should keep an
eye on too. So one is one called Betty Spaghetti. Now,
first up, it's actually run top three from three starts.
Now it's seventeen bucks and has an a four on
because it's got to carry plenty. But second up, this
horse has one three. So just have a look at
(52:24):
where they go to next. I feel like they'll be
giving this thing a run. And second up, you might
want to have something on Now.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Is Tokyo Tycoon in that race? Yes, yes it is.
What's the Have you got any any goss on this?
Speaker 3 (52:40):
No?
Speaker 2 (52:40):
I hadn't even seen that it was running.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
I was about to talk about superbly written Sorry, I
didn't even know that the tycoon was in there.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:47):
Now I can't back that Japanese thing anymore. It's it's
hard to follow. It's got a red dot next to
its name. If you know what I mean, Japanese flate,
you've lost.
Speaker 2 (52:57):
I totally got it, I'm sure if you've been.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
No, no, no, no, I can't have it. I thought
there was a good superbly written yes, that's in the
same race. This is an Age of Discovery absolutely smashed. Yeah,
dollar fifty it was crazy. But there's a horse in
this race.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
Keep an eye.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
It's called Little zena little Zina watched. I watch a
little bit of South Island racing from every now and then,
and you know that that could be your executor. So
Age Discovery to win and Little Xena to run second.
It's priced it up because I think it's available. We
might not be getting too much as old strafte over there, Dann,
(53:37):
Are you bidding or no?
Speaker 3 (53:39):
I'm trying to find Kaying Lucky. It's on Sunday, Woodville.
Speaker 2 (53:44):
Okay, we're back. Okay, it's not out yet. What else
have you got for Saturday? Dan, whilst Luke gets his
multi sorted.
Speaker 3 (53:50):
Yeah, I think I found a little bit of value
on Saturday. Another thirty dollars shot. Funny enough good and
we're in race eight. But I think this horse says
a bit of ability. Now it's a really strong field,
but it's drawn pretty well and it went really well.
Fresh up, big step up to the two thousand media
second up. But it's a horse called Katta Gap and
(54:13):
I actually tipped it as one of my best bets
last season because it's thrown in some really nice runs.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
Now, it doesn't have great good track stats.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
It's okay, like it's had three starts for a win
and a second, which I guess is pretty reasonable. But
second up, it's two starts for two seconds. The distance
it's one and one, so it's had one start of
two thousand for a win. Huge step up. But it's
got three kilos off the back, so it's only carrying
fifty one kilos currently thirty four dollars and seven dollars
fifty drawn sex. I reckon it might just get a
(54:46):
nice running behind them. These days that haste things every
now and then they throw up some big price horses,
and I reckon caddagat might be able to get over
the top of them late. What racing rogue you make?
It's race eight at Race Things eight. Wow, number twelve.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
You are unwell and I love it. You're right though,
there seems to be a lot of horses that come
in in these kind of meetings at long odds and
you tend to find them, So why not.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
Hey in that race as well? I thought that I
looked at this race Wolfgang false favorite second up four starts.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
Definitely luckies. It's yeah, don't bet on that, bet Arraus.
That horse is a cat.
Speaker 1 (55:19):
Yeah so forms no good four dollars sixty false favorite.
Apologies to connections. I thought quality time, but maybe we
multi Quinella that up with you make Kenny get there
and yeahty.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
Grand undelievable odds.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
Yeah, you've also got Marie Hannah riding your horse under
your umbrella, so that's going to be unreal when that
shits in past thirty four bucks.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
This is fantastic. I feel like we're all over the shots.
Yeah we should, we should get to the best bits.
Speaker 3 (55:50):
But the only other one just quickly yeah, is Broadsiding
in Sydney. It's been drifting. This horse is out to
three dollars forty. I think I've seen it before war.
I'm going to wait because I think all the money
is going to come for the other few really good
horses that are in this race at rose Hill.
Speaker 2 (56:09):
Multi that to win the Cox Plate with writing his
head down.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
Yeah no, I've already backed Broadsiding to win the Coxplate.
I think this is a real Coxplait horse, so it
might be a little bit tough. First up in the
Golden Rows. But this horse was so good at the
back end of last season. Like in Brisbane, it just
kicked their heads in Ah. So yeah, broadsiding, thanks Mace. Yeah,
(56:34):
just making a note of it. We've got a lot
of black bookers side everybody.
Speaker 2 (56:37):
I hope you've got. We have been absolutely all over
the shop for the last ten minutes. But hopefully people
are fit. That smells fantastic, Gary, it's so good. Yeah,
you get interrupt, now you'll be able to go. All right, Yeah,
(56:58):
I'm going to Sydney, babe. All right, let's get into
the best bits. Make sure you've got your paper and
your pen ready, because yep, we've thrown so mad tonight
and all of them are going to win. What's blessed
this weekend? Luke, what do we got, mate?
Speaker 1 (57:13):
Well, the Goat's got the honors and my word, he
is due. He's going to take us down south to
the cart and now race number one will know our
fate early. This horse is called am Minute, and you
will be in it because we all are.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
That was called Okay, maybe I am in it. I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (57:32):
I don't know, but I'm into it. I'm definitely into it.
So it's called am minute or I Am into it
or just whatever. It's number four and we're going to
take it to run top two two dollars fifty out
to three dollars twenty. Find that on the Future's part
of the racing section. It's a top two for three
fifty three twenty. Shit.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
That's a great bit. That's a great bit. Fantastic. That's
the blessed bit this week, ladies and gentlemen, Am I
in it? Race one recorton Dan Haynes Harness Halo. We
are in shambles. Oh my god, the Harness Halo.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
We are going to Addington Race ten and a horse
called mister Kaplan. We've got Mark Purtin and Nathan Purdin
combining with Brett Blair.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
Orange.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
This horse last week or two weeks ago, blasted out
of the gates, took the lead, worked hard and then
just done it easily. It's up against pretty much the
same opposition. I think it's going to go out, go
to the front and be too good again. It took
early money, went from two ninety into two forty within
about five minutes, so the sharp punters were on early.
We've boosted it back out to three dollars, so we've
(58:38):
got a good price. Harness halo, was mister Caplin Race
tened Addington.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
I reckon, if we don't get that home, we've got
to put the harness halo to be day.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
It's unfair.
Speaker 1 (58:46):
It's unfair connection to connections. So it's been so unlucky.
Speaker 3 (58:51):
We've just like we've redone the horses, horses that have
been so close and run second.
Speaker 1 (58:57):
Even on Friday, I was watching it. You know when
you watch the harness, when you wtch the galopy, is
it going to get there? When you watch the harness,
is not going to get there? You know you can
tell it's just the slow mo.
Speaker 3 (59:06):
When that horse got bowled over at the start, I
was like that that had me undone. I was like,
you've you've got to be kidding me.
Speaker 5 (59:12):
I was.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
I was stuck into the beers, as you guys can
tell from ruppy message.
Speaker 2 (59:17):
Yeah, for gallops, that's when you fucking call it and
call it a day.
Speaker 1 (59:21):
I want to watch the galloping on Saturday, and I
flick on tracks over Friday for the fill up and
the fucking harnessalls is galloping.
Speaker 2 (59:27):
I think that's what always tell them not to do.
Speaker 4 (59:29):
It is.
Speaker 2 (59:32):
Have a word to them. Hey, we know you're not
a galloper, mate, You're not galloping today. That right the
hertes Salo mister Chaplin two forty eight to three dollars.
I'm back on the scam Man. We are going for
the Friday fill up on Friday night, all the lads
are going to Addington. We're stacking up the last four races.
Get a multi on, get it done. This is going
to pay you three grand. It's going to be fantastic.
The scam Man's best bit Eddington Race nine. Helium loves
(59:56):
the trip. With four of his six winds coming over,
this journey can leave the arm so even from the
wide jaw, he could end up finding his way to
the markets and from there should give a great sight. Dan,
where are we going mate?
Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
I'm going to go to Addington Race eleven and this
is for Markham's best Katari Kelso had some of the
best selections and sectionals in the harness seven thousand two
weeks ago and achieve those while coming from last and
wide on the track. Huge drop back in gray this
week from that race, and good enough to run in
(01:00:32):
front and dominate Heir handy horse that finds the right
race and I can finally get a win on the board.
Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
Let's go, Markham. I was really hoping you were going
to break into helium type voice.
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
That I don't know. Guess I talk about the.
Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
All blacksleitting in sos for a number ten and yeah,
maybe the.
Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Job of that today.
Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
So you go now, well, I guess I was bet
Addington Meeting eight, race number eight. This horse all the
way from Japan, Mulwanga, massive run, fresh up last at
the four hundred and only half a length from winning
with leaders going fifty five last half that is unbelievable.
Will only improve off that draw tricky, but will endure
a fast We'll enjoy a fast place.
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Look for him late to get over the top. We'll
put forty points on this lot, So multi up all
of those three the Scareman's Markhams Gasso's for the last
three of the night. But before that, make sure you
get on Fitzi's best bet, which is Addington Race too.
Reclause Dream won't get big odds, but the way this
Philly has been trialing, I can't see anything that should
be threatening her in this field. Kick your night off
with a multi starter expect you to start a short
(01:01:36):
priced favorite and be winning bigger races in store for
this season, I believe. But FITZI reckons that will kick
your night off well. At Addington Race two Reclause Dream Dan,
what's the Harness seven thousand that Markham was talking about?
Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
I don't quite know, but it was like it was
like a like like you have a bunch of heats
or whatever and then there's a final or whatever. So
it was quite a competitive race. Is you know, like
good middle grade horses and so now that horse is
stepping back to like a lower grade.
Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
Right, okay, so should win? Get on board, right. I've
got a good feeling about this weekend, lads. I'm going
to kick things off. Hastings Race two, Bell's Fate. It
beat a number of these horses on day one. A
couple of them are drawn on the inside of it,
which is slightly concerning. But I think that this horse
is going to be a very good horse. Ted tells
me that Robbie Patterson has a very big opinion of
(01:02:27):
it and it's going for a hat trick on Saturday.
Race to Bell's Fate. Craig grills Robbie Patterson to get
the job done.
Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
I'll take you to Friday because Ted is going nice
and nearly see you want to get your bed on.
So we're going to go Friday today uper meeting to
race number three. Now reminder, this is Friday, so it's
not Saturday. Levacia. She has had two starts for two seconds,
both at twelve hundred meters, where she has run on
strongly each time. Third up she steps out over fourteen
(01:02:57):
hundred meters on Friday. And the other positive is the
blinkers are going on.
Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
Ted loves that.
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
He sometimes texts me when the blinkers goes on. Hopefully
she can get the job done. The way Ted's tipping
at the moment, I would suggest this horse is a
length clear at that Tadapa post in race number three.
Don't get into the bears too early on your Friday.
But I believe we have another winner on your Friday,
(01:03:22):
mister Rakman, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
We do, mate, and.
Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
We're going to a race number six on Friday at
ted Apa Snazzy Tavvy. She's a BGP favorite and she
returns to the track where she got the last blessed
bet of last season. Home has one second up. She's
one for one course and distance two for two on
this track. She goes right on a soft track as well,
(01:03:48):
which I think we're going to get tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
And I'm looking to get on the board for the
first time this season.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
I'm hoping Snazzy Tavy can do it for me and
gets the boys paid on Friday and fill up for
the Harness on Friday.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Well, as we know, the Goat's Best bet is recorded
Meeting six, race number one.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Am I in it? And we certainly are.
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
We're in it up to our bloody eyeballs. That's why
we've made it the blessed bet. But he thinks it
can win as well as a massive run last star
and with a more economical passage will be very competitive.
So get stuck into that if you are having a
bet down South or follow the blessed bet where you're
going to back it to run top two.
Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Where's the King of the Punk going.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
I'm going to go to the very last race at Hastings,
so meeting four, race number nine. Kind thoughts now, keep
your thoughts kind if it doesn't quite get there. But
I'm really going to test out how well I am
finding the winners, because this thing is nine dollars fifty
nine dollars fifteen I think two dollars something top four,
but have something on the nose. We're going to take
(01:04:48):
the favorite on and see if we can swamp it late. Now,
this horse loves chasing them down and just getting a
horse right on the line, so I think we might
see that on Saturday. I was hampered a little bit
last start, just when it was getting into its work,
and it needs a long sustained run, so it sort
of got a little bit caught out of that, and
so we end up with a nine on the form line,
(01:05:08):
and I think that's why we're getting these tasty odds.
It will be better second up over the mile, and
we need a good track, which I think we will
get to see her at her best if she's fit
and can stay out of trouble. Punters might have all
sorts of kind thoughts towards the bookies' opening price.
Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
I'll tell you what. You showed us some replays at
the pub beforehand, and yeah, it looks very good. And
we talked about betting on it in the New Zealand
Cup in twenty twenty five because it takes that long
to wind up.
Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
But Jesus if it was, it'll be good. Yeah, look
this Wilso be under a ride at the eight hundred.
You'll be thinking, what the freaking hell is this to oh,
and it will boom home and it will just be
laboring away and just slowly wearing them down. I hope,
I really do hope. But again, regardless, this is one
to go into the black book.
Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
Yeah, absolutely good luck if you're having a crack at
all of those. Everybody, thank you very much for listening,
and as always, thank you very much for all of
your contribution. And I feel like we've thrown out about
one hundred bits there, so please do Campbell responsibly. Don't
put too much money on them, but there was plenty too.
Fine there, Luke, What are you up to you for
your weekend? Mate? Where are you going to be watching
day two of the carnival?
Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
I'll be watching from home a little bit of a
quiet weekend this weekend, because then I'm on the road
for just about sixty eight weekends in a row. So
I got Stagg dues again. I'm talking Grand Finals, We're
talking King of the Punts, We're talking cup weeks, some handicaps.
Speaker 5 (01:06:26):
It's just.
Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
Baby man, Daddy. There we go. Back away from home.
Come down on Tuesday. Wait, what's happing Tuesday?
Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Let we change your flight down.
Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
Hey, we're that cologne home mate. You never know. You
can get whatever you want.
Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
I got it in my mouth and it tastes just
as good as money code ladies and gentlemen. Anyway, good
to see.
Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
You all, Dad. Where are you going? What are you
doing on a weekend? Mate?
Speaker 1 (01:06:53):
This weekend dealing co eling compas next weekend?
Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
I think?
Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
Is it know a eeling cop if anyone wants to
get their hands on a big eel message dan.
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
Competition?
Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
Yeah no, it's just a tradition at who knew it?
Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
Yeah? So good?
Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
No, this weekend, just gonna have a chill one. The
school holiday is coming up, so I'll be taking the
kids down to the beach house for a week.
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Down there are your kids at school?
Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Yeah, oh, I know one of them is okay, but
we'll take the other one out of school and take
them down there and yeah, let them enjoy the same stuff.
Got another couple of fans, I hope, great gun By
Yeah yeah, get his pink pink gum boots on the beach,
absolutely out and get the boys some crayfish and there.
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
It must be nice. What about you, mate, what do
you got on? Uh yeah, just gonna watch it at home.
I think keeping it pretty low key this weekend, like
you getting ready for them. The weekend after it's my
birthday and a couple of weekends time, so that's going
to be a fucking huge weekend and then we're off
I think the week after that we've got a labor
weekend and then your cup week. Yeah, just you know,
take it easy while you can. Before you know it,
(01:07:55):
it's going to be Christmas. Before you know it's going
to be the Twilight Races at Elsie, which, Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Here we go. I was just thinking about that.
Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
Should here we go? So kings to pass the game.
Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
We've got twenty tickets for yeah, for people. We'll talk
about that on Facebook. Maybe talking about that on your
think tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
Yeah, honestly, we've been all over the place tonight. Adam,
you did pull us into line mate. It's good to
thank you very much. I'm going to go to bed.
Speaker 5 (01:08:20):
No worries at all, guys, no worries at all.
Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
I really do hope we found you. Someone is out there. Everybody.
Thank you very much. If you've remember, we're taking a break.
Maybe this one was so fine up because we're not
here next Thursday. Oh yea yeah, we've got to get
everything again beforehand. We need a break. I think the
people need to break from us. Oh god, I really do.
Hope you've enjoyed it. And if you've enjoyed us for
the last hour and ten or eleven minutes, at least
you make one hundred or two out of us. We hope.
(01:08:45):
So as always, Gambre, responsibly, enjoy day two of the
Hawks Bay Racing Carnival. Enjoy punting at Tarapa from the
