Speaker 2 (00:50):
Happy Memorial Day to one and all, and welcome on
back to another episode of The Brian Wallenberg Show, live
here on the Wallenberg Radio Network as we celebrate Memorial Day,
as we are in the end of May, heading towards June,
honoring those who fought and died for our freedom. So

(01:14):
that's what we're all about here, So welcome on back. Wow,
it's great we're getting into June. I'm just so grateful
that we're getting I'm more of a summer type person
is weather wise more than anything else. I love summer
over winter, so we're heading towards that. Yeah, I love

(01:38):
to shoot the breeze a little bit. But I really
have a jam packed agenda today, lots of stories. I
think I have like ten of them or something here
to get through today. So try to get that done
in an hour. We'll see about that. I might go
over an hour. Just a little bit excited. I do
have some really good stuff. So all right, let's go

(02:00):
ahead and get things started. Start off with some breaking news.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
And now Brian has a breaking news update.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Hey, I'm a fan of eighties music. I love all
the music stars that made music in the nineteen eighties.
That's when I grew up. Billy Joel, who is seventy
six years old, had to cancel his any show that
he has on his tour within this year and next

(02:35):
year just because he was diagnosed with a brain disorder
and apparently singing, especially at concerts, aggravates his condition until
he gets cured with that. So I have an ABC
News clip that just talks about Billy Joel and his

(02:57):
newly discovered brain disorder.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Runing announcement from singer Billy Joel revealing he's suffering from
a rare brain disorder which is now forcing him to
cancel his concert tour.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Here's ABC Stephanie.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Ramos tonight a major health scare for legendary rocker Billy Joel,
forcing him to cancel his entire tour. Joel, who was
set to kick off a seventeen show summer tour starting
in Pittsburgh in July, revealing he's been diagnosed with normal
pressure hydrocephalus, a rare brain disorder where excess spinal fluid

(03:34):
connects deep inside the brain, causing problems with cognitive function
like thinking, reasoning, and even walking.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Generally, this is a condition of older people between seventy
and seventy nine.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
It's felt to effect about zero point two percent of
the population, so very rare.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Of course, Billy Joel is seventy six, so he does
fit in that range.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Grammy winner, who holds the records for most shows and
most consecutive shows at New York's Madison Square Garden, announced
a four month break from touring back in February after
he lost his balance and fell during this show in Connecticut,
writing at the time, while I regret postponing any shows,
my health must come first.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Oh yeah, Lindsay.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Experts say this is considered treatable and reversible, Joel says
he's thankful for the care he's getting and looks forward
to hitting the stage as soon as he can, lindsay
sending well wish it.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah, so it's great. Yeah, you want to take care
of your health because apparently singing and performing, especially at concerts,
it's hard on your body and hard on your Brain's
always got it, as they said that it is curable
and reversible. So hopefully that happens and then Billy Joel
can get back on the road and does what he's
been doing his whole life. So hopefully that will be

(04:58):
the reality. All right, So oh, moving on, let's continue on.
Let's talk about the Big Beautiful Bill in politics.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
It's time for Brian's conservative take on politics, because.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Being conservative is the only way to be because.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
When he's right, he's right.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Okay, So the Big Beautiful Bill, it cleared a major hurdle.
It's still a ways out to get signed into law
and everything, but the Big Beautiful Bill. It narrowly passed,
but it did pass in the House of Representatives.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
On this vote, the a'ser two hundred and fifteen, the
nayser two hundred and fourteen, with one answering present.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
The bill is passed some booths from Democrats in there,
but cheers from the right side of the aisle. So
now it passed the House, but now it heads over
to the Senate. Apparently there's some Republican senators over there

(06:09):
that that don't like it, as it's rare. They like
most of it, but they won't pass it. They want
to make some changes. So if that happens, in which
I think will happen, because even Senator Ran Paul wants
to make some changes to it, they'll make some changes
to it, pass it, and when they do, it has

(06:30):
to go back to the House for their vote because
they have to vote on the changes. Then of course,
if that pass, it goes to President Trump for the signature.
So lots of stuff going on with that. There's controversy
going on from Democrats. But you know, because the Democrats

(06:52):
like to lie about what's going on in the bill. Okay,
they keep saying, no, it's only to fund tax cuts
for billionaires, which is a lie. They're cutting Social Security Medicaid,
which is a lie. They're just cutting the waste, fraud
and abuse. That's it. So Mike Johnson has to come
out and correct thelize as much as possible, and tells

(07:14):
us more about what's going on with the bill.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
Big beautiful bill enshrines into law and funds President Trump's promises.
There's a lot of them because we had to make
them because after the last four years, everything was an
absolute disaster. So he's promised to cut wasteful spending and
save taxpayers money. Check that's what we're doing, make permanent
historic tax cuts, and prevent the largest tax hike in
US history. Check that's what we're doing. Invest in our
national defense and homeland security in a fiscally responsible manner.

(07:43):
That too, re establish American energy dominance, and basically restore
common sense to the government. That's what the American people
elected him to do. This bill does all that and
so much more. And as a reminder, we're right on schedule.
Our House Budget Resolution gave instructions to eleven separate committees
House to write their portions of the Budget Reconciliation Bill,

(08:03):
and they did it right on target. Every instructed committee
exceeded those targets in fact that they were given through
our resolution. That means the committees that were told to
spend have spent less, and the committees that were told
to save actually found more savings than they were targeting,
and the bill delivered more than one point five trillion
dollars in savings mandated by the budget resolution.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
That is historic.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
There's never been anything like it before. Oh yeah, exactly.
Because it's a lot of stuff packed in the one bill.
That's why it's called the Big Beautiful Bill, because it
basically it's a combination of almost all, at least almost
all of Trump's campaign promises. There's border security in that bill,

(08:48):
to build the wall, to fund the wall and build it,
more border patrol agents, no tax on tips, no tax
on overtime, stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
Ye.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
A lot of benefits for the American people, I mean.
And what it does. It doesn't just cut tax for
the billionaires like the Democrats keep saying. It's tax cut
for middle class and everybody. It's the original Trump tax
cuts from twenty seventeen that are set to expire this year.

(09:22):
If we don't pass this bill, the tax cuts expire,
and it's going to be a tax hike automatic. Democrats
want that to happen so they can blame Republicans and say,
oh yeah, that Trump and the Republicans, Oh yeah, they
raise taxes. It's irresponsibility for the tax hike. That's what
they want to say, and that's what they're trying to

(09:42):
sell you. But we just have to be smart and
realize that that's not the case. That has not happened.
The Democrats are lying because they're only cutting, you know,
for like Social Security and Medicaid. They're just cutting the waste,
fraud and abuse. Illegal immigrants aren't supposed to be getting

(10:04):
any of that, but they are. They're cutting that. People
that are able bodied workers who can work, are abusing
the system that's been cut out. But Mike Johnson, everybody
before has been saying that the people who really need
it will get it. They're not gonna cut it. They're

(10:24):
gonna expand on it for the people who need it.
So yeah, I mean, Trump has been repeatedly saying that
they're only cutting waste, fraud and abuse out of it.
This is what I'm on Medicaid.

Speaker 8 (10:41):
We're not touching anything.

Speaker 9 (10:42):
All I want is one thing, three words.

Speaker 10 (10:45):
We don't want any waste fraud or abuse.

Speaker 9 (10:48):
Very simple waste fraud abuse. Other than that, we're leaving
in Medicare. We're leaving in it all or after. And
this is for the good of it. There's a lot
of waste, fraud, and abuse. That's all we're doing. We're
not touching it. The Democrats are going to destroy it.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Yeah yeah, Democrats. Yeah, they're going to destroy it. And
the Democrats are met saying, oh, they're cutting it, they're
cutting it. Well, well, then they're cutting it is for
the illegal immigrants. But of course the Democrats they fight
for the illegal immigrants. They don't care about the American people.

(11:24):
They just carry about their precious illegals. That's all they
care about. Oh, they're cutting it for Americans, Well, illegals,
they're not Americans. Of course, the Democrats would beg to differ,
but they do. Yep. So as much as we have
to keep correcting the lies Democrats, including one of their

(11:47):
big leaders, Senator Chuck Schumer, yep, yeah, he's constantly, multiple
times a day, going out in saying lies about what's
in this bill that they keep lying so hard about.

Speaker 11 (12:06):
Is no wonder that Republicans had to pass their big,
beautiful bill in the dark of night. That ain't beautiful.

Speaker 10 (12:12):
It is ugly. It moved up the.

Speaker 11 (12:15):
Deadline for when snap is cut, when Medicaid is cut.
That's going to mean programs will not have time to adjust.
Food pantries, rural hospitals, other hospitals will close because the
chaos that Trump is created in the federal government he
now wants to create in our hospitals and food pantries.
We passed great tax breaks to encourage clean energy, wind
and solar. It was going great, millions of jobs created,

(12:37):
energy costs going down. So what are these jerks from
the hard right who totally beholden to the oil and
gas industry did. They're killing it, killing the whole clean
energy program. And when it comes to choice, look what
these anti women yahoos did. It wasn't bad enough to
just cut planned parenthood. Now who gets reproductive care and

(12:57):
has ACA insurance can't get at it. Millions more deprived
of their rights under the law. This is not what
America wants. Democrats will fight it.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Well, okay, well democrats, you guys can't fight at all
you want. You're in the minority. This is what a
majority of the country voted for. It's not all being
cut like you're saying. I just hope everybody can see
through the lies. That's a democrat. I mean, this is
not well, you just have to wait and see then
wait till it comes out and see it's not being cut.

(13:31):
Like he said, well, they had to pass in the
middle of the night. Well, that's because they had to
work overtime because there's a lot of discussion. Democrats fought
in the House. They had to go into overtime. They
needed to pass it because they it's a big bill.
There's a lot of work to be done. So they
worked over it. They worked through the night. When they

(13:52):
say the one where they passed it in the middle
of it, well they that's because they worked overtime. It's
like in twenty twenty when they certified the election for
Joe Biden. They did that at like what three in
the morning. So they do work overnight for things. It's
not because they're trying to get away with something. Yeah
that's yes, that's stupid for Chuck to say.

Speaker 12 (14:14):
That, but but yeah, oh well anyway, Hakeem Jefferies, because
see now this is going into the Senate now, they
just want to make some changes so they can pass it.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
It might changes might even be good because more Republicans
will be on board with it. But yeah, Hakeen Jeffries,
the UH minority leader of the House tells colleagues in
the Senate to stop it. Stop this bill in its tracks.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
That's not a vote of confidence in this one, big
ugly bill.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
What's your message, or colleagues in the Senate, stop this
bill in his tracks? Stop it in its tracks. Big
ugly bill. You know that's a truck you So that's
what all the Democrats are starting to call it the
big Ugly Bill. Trump and Republicans call it the Big
Beautiful Bill because it is beautiful. It's great. It's gonna

(15:14):
solve a lot problems all in one, all in one bill.
We're gonna be energy dominant, so we're not like what
we were during the Biden era. It's gonna curve inflation,
strengthen border security, cut the waste fraud, an abuse of
people who are getting Social Security, Medicaid snap, but strengthen

(15:38):
it for the people who do need it. And the
child tax credit's going up in the bill. Okay. Democrats
are not talking about that. They don't want to talk
about it. They just want to try to convince the
American people that it is a big ugly bill, but
it's not read it. Find out what's going on in it. Yeah,

(16:01):
like I said, there are cuts of Social Security and Medicaid,
but only the waste, fraud and abuse. Everyone else is
gonna get what they need out of it. It's gonna
be strengthen, it's gonna be great. Just have to wait
and see. Anyway, time for a break, first break in
the program. Be back in one minute. Lots more to go,

(16:21):
so stick around, be right back.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.

Speaker 13 (16:55):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Network, and welcome on back as we are celebrating Memorial
Day here in America. Great holiday. You're gonna be out there.

(17:22):
I'm gonna be out there barbecuing as well. Hope everyone's
able to go out and barbecue wherever you're at. Hopefully
the weather will be fine so you can do that.
Barbecuing is a great tradition. But you know, as much
as it turns into a recreation day, just like the
Fourth of July, just remember it's not about barbecuing. It's

(17:44):
about honoring America and what America stands for. You know,
because like Christmas. It's not all about Santa Claus and presence.
It's about honoring the Lord and saviors. So just keep
that in mind. So anyway, as we are as, I
have a full agenda. Just like the Big Beautiful Bill,

(18:06):
it's jam packed with a bunch of stuff all in one. Well,
same thing with this episode. I have a lot of
stories packed in the one episode. So got lots to do.
So let's continue on and talk about our next story.

Speaker 6 (18:26):
Great Americans will do whatever they can to fight for
freedom in our republic.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
They are American patriots at work.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Great segment to run on Memorial Day weekend here. So
didn't realized that while I was doing the show prep.
I just realized that like ten seconds ago before I
started to say anything. All right, So, yes, the United
States Supreme Court, they've been busy, I mean, and they're

(19:03):
gonna be busy because of all these activists federal judges
that we have out there that want to try to
take over the executive branch and run it totally overstepping
their boundaries. And I've been covering this a lot here
on the program. So they have to make rulings on

(19:24):
all this stuff, you know. Okay, one by one from
everything Bodsburg is saying and all these every time they
issue an injunction, obviously the Trump administration's fighting it. It's
gonna eventually go to the Supreme Court and they have
to make rulings, and they're starting to do that. Okay,

(19:46):
the Supreme Court sometimes will rule in favor of the Democrats,
but mostly they're ruling in favor of Donald Trump and
our executive branch. They are allowing us to deport elite immigrants,
and they have given us to go ahead to deport
three hundred and fifty thousand Venezuelans. They said, okay, we

(20:08):
can do it now. We just have to give him
due process and then get them out. That's fine, that's fair.
That's totally fair. I can live with that. You know,
Democrats can't argue with that, but they do. Democrats say, oh,
what's wrong with the Supreme Court. Oh, they're bought out,
they're supposed to rule for us. Well, no, they're just

(20:29):
being fair. They're not going to be one sided like
the Democrats are. Democrats think that, oh Trump is a tyrant.
Oh Republicans are bad. It's only because of the rhetoric
from the far left. As we hear from Chuck Schumer.
He's really stirring the pot. So got this audio clip
from Newsmax on the United States Supreme Court, who's starting

(20:54):
to rule on these cases in Trump's favor.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
The Supreme Court took up an enjoined case today that
I think we'll solve a lot of Trump's headaches in
the long run. Forty cases three being heard now that
all boil down to one issue. Can a district judge
issue in nationwide injunction? And the Solicitor General made a
very clear argument on behalf of Trump against that today.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
Yeah, forcing the government to win everywhere while the plaintiffs
can win anywhere.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Folks, this is a bit wonky, but I'm gonna make
it easy to understand, I promise, because it is really
important to understand how the left is using the system
to stop Trump. In this hearing today could be the
first major blow to the left's lawfare effort forever. Yeah,
the premise of this case applies to forty national injunctions
since Trump has taken office by district judges, thirty five

(21:46):
of which came from just five not so friendly judges
like Boseberg and DC. That's the guy who blocked the
Aliens the Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal gangbangers. But
the three specific cases today are all related to birthright citizenship.
Trump versus State of Washington, Trump versus New Jersey, and
Trump versus CASA. Okay, let's take the last one. They're

(22:07):
all essentially the same premise, just by different groups. Trump
versus CASA is being brought by an illegal immigrant advocacy
group on behalf of five pregnant women and other organizations
to challenge Trump's removal of the birthright Citizenship Order under
the fourteenth Amendment. Now this one, I got a hand
to Trump. He was just like, you know what, guys,
I'm so done with this. Just do it. Let's force

(22:29):
it into the court to see what happens. I like that.
That's good. The plaintiffs, though, argue which the merits of
which are not fully being addressed today, because like the
other two cases, the court is mainly hearing whether or
not the district courts have the authority to grant relief nationwide,
which in all three cases the lower judges did. That's
what we're hearing. So Trump's Solicitor General is essentially making

(22:49):
the case that any relief or any decision from a
judge should only apply to those five plaintiffs specifically in
this case, and not me. Why now, Justice so to
Mayor who was super liberal, Obviously, in my opinion, she
was actually completely unhinged today even got reined in by
Chief Justice Roberts.

Speaker 14 (23:08):
If there was a decision that violated the president of
the Court, then the affected plaintiffs could get a separate judgment.

Speaker 15 (23:14):
And that when you're talking about the hundreds and thousands
of people who weren't part of the judgment of the court.

Speaker 10 (23:23):
We are not claiming that because we're conceding that there
could be a in inappropriate case only in class I
hear this? Can I hear the rest of his answer? Now?

Speaker 2 (23:31):
This went on for a while.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Her point in that rambling thought was in support of
Katanji Brown Jackson, the Supreme Court justice who can't tell
us what a woman is asking? Why doesn't everyone benefit
off of one person's case?

Speaker 15 (23:45):
Everybody has to have a lawyer and file a lawsuit
in order for the government to stop violating people's rights.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
Hm, basically, what about people who can't afford to go
to court?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Ah?

Speaker 5 (23:56):
Yes, Now, I do happen to agree that the way
our court system works. Is can be pe can be arduous,
and not always efficient, but it's what we got and
it's better than basically anywhere else in the world. Anyone
who's been through a divorce would probably agree with me
on this. Nevertheless, somehow, somehow, she is now in favor
of national and u the liberal justices actually all are
now in favor of these national injunctions, which is weird

(24:17):
because this is highly inconsistent with the previous standpoint in
twenty twenty two of her fellow liberal Justice Elena Kagan,
when she said this, all.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Right, I'll positive right there. So he's gonna play something
that Aleja Elena Kagan said just a few years ago,
the one of the liberal justices that are now saying
that she's now saying that federal judges can do a
nationwide injunction. But this is what she said just a

(24:49):
few years ago.

Speaker 15 (24:52):
It just can't be right that one district judge can
stop a nationwide policy in its tracks and leave it
stopped for the years that it takes to go through
normal process.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Hmm.

Speaker 5 (25:06):
Now, the point that I think is lost on our
liberal justices here is that there's already a mechanism to
enjoin a single decision from a lower court to apply
it to a larger class, and it was brought up
today Rule twenty three pertaining to class action lawsuits. I
think it vodes very well for the Trump side in
this argument here that they didn't do that. Look, you

(25:27):
want to have a local ruling apply nationwide, get them
to join a class action lawsuit. But these parties for
the liberals didn't do that.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
Now, the other part of the argument Trump's team is
making is under Article three, Section two of the Constitution.
Stay with me here, folks, and get a little wonky.
But this is so important, I'll cut it up.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
I think we heard enough. Yeah. So, well, the Democrats
just years ago, they weren't so hard left, but they
turned left now because Trump is in office. Okay, once
upon a time they were for border security and cutting
waste fraud, intobuse out of government. But now they're not.

(26:12):
You see. But yeah, even the liberal justices a few
years ago said that when district court judge cannot make
a nationwide injunction. Because that's true, they can't. And this
is how the Supreme Court is going to end up
ruling in all these cases. So that's what we need
to have happened. I mean, they all know it's all

(26:37):
going to be overturned. But the Democrats and these liberal judges,
they know it. They just want to cause enough chaos
just so Trump can't government. That's why they issue an
injunction every time they do something, you know, so that
they can't so Trump can't get anything done. They want
to cause enough chaos to do that. That's ogy of

(27:00):
the left. I cover that here on the program a lot.
But the Supreme Court is gonna end up ruling in
favor Trump and the Republicans are gonna win, and America
is gonna win. So we'll wait for that. So anyway,
let's continue on for their next story.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Some things seem strange and unbelievable, but by golly, it's true.

Speaker 6 (27:25):
But you know you can't make this stuff up.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Okay, So we recently had a situation in Washington where
outside of an embassy that two staff members were shot
and killed in a terrorist attack. And somebody who is, well,
I should say, somebody who's trying to respond or won't

(27:50):
respond or won't respond correctly, is far left Congresswoman illin
Omar from Minnesota. She's actually represents my hometown of Minneapolis,
born in Somalia, very liberal, very America. Last. She is

(28:15):
the kind of person that when talking about nine to eleven,
she laughs, she thinks it's great that the terrorists attacked us.
You know, she wasn't born here. This is why they
want to make an amendment to the Constitution that members
of Congress should be naturally born, just like the president.
In my mind, you know, this is going to be

(28:37):
kind of harsh for me to say, but in my mind,
she's a terrorist, Okay, flat out. She loves and she
likes to stick up for the terrorists and terrorists of countries,
not America. Not a domestic terrorist like the Democrat Party
mainly is, but an actual terrorist in my opinion. Okay,

(29:00):
flat out, but that's my opinion. But elen Omar, in
response to a terrorist attacked in Washington, d C. She
goes on TV and Ashley says that Americans need to
fear the white man. You can't believe this. Check this

(29:23):
out here.

Speaker 16 (29:23):
I would say our country should be more fearful of
white man across our country because they are actually causing
most of the deaths within this country. We should be profiling, monitoring,
and and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Oh Man, that is a sitting member of Congress right
there in a country that's mostly white. This is what
she's saying, fear the white man. Well, as we've seen,
you know from the Democrats there, rhetoric causes violence. Whenever

(30:12):
the Democrats go out there and say something like, oh,
Donald Trump is an enemy of the country, you know
that rhetoric is a green light for Democrats think, oh,
I got the green light now to try to kill him.
He's an enemy, you know, Democrats said, So, you know

(30:32):
people are going to use that as an excuse to
kill the white man. Oh Omar said, so, so she's
putting us, including me, in danger. So if I do
know that there are members of Congress who listen to
this program, So if ilin Omar hears me call her
a terrorist, which I think she is, well I could say, hey,

(30:55):
I feel like I'm in danger now because she told
the country to fear people like me. That would be
my thing. And next up before we go to break
here and get this in illin Omar was asked or
tried to be asked about her comments about the assassination

(31:19):
of Israeli diplomats. But she couldn't condemn. She couldn't even
say anything.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Check this out, Congress, can I give your reaction to
the shooting that happened to DC last night.

Speaker 14 (31:31):
I'm going to go for now. I'm going to go
for now.

Speaker 16 (31:34):
Mark couldn't even say condolence is for the family?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
No, of course not, of course not. And this is
the kind of person that says that Americans should fear
the white man. Unbelievable. Anyway, time for her break, second
bring of the program. Lots more to go. Yeah, I
still have a lot of great stories left on this epis.

(32:01):
We'll be back in one minute, so yeah, stick with me.

Speaker 6 (32:11):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.

Speaker 13 (32:35):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
And welcome on back. So grateful for everyone who's listening
from wherever you're listening from across America and throughout the
World's grateful that everyone is here on this Memorial Day
edition of the Brian Wallenberg Show. So glad that you're
tagging along as we do have listeners from all over

(33:12):
the world. As I mentioned also too before the break,
that I do have members of Congress who do listen
to this program. Ah, so yeah, just as And I
was also thing in radio, you don't know who is
listening to this. President Trump could be listening to this
as well. But yeah, just I share this show on Facebook,

(33:35):
and it just it just seems like some of the
members of Congress listen to it, because when I say something,
a lot of times they act as if they were
listening to me, and some of them actually clicked like
on my show, so I know that they do listen.
So oh alrighty, As I said, I got a lot

(33:58):
more stories to go. I'm gonna try to cram it
in in the next half hour or less, but I
might go a little over. So if I do, it's
it's all okay, everything's great, So continue on.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
There's a civil war brewing in America between Democrats and Americans.

Speaker 13 (34:17):
Find out the latest in civil war too.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Yeah, well, you know, the Democrats are basically starting it
if there really is a civil war. And I mentioned
in the last segment before the break that the Democrats
rhetoric causes violence Okay, they say Trump is an enemy
to the country. Democrats act like that's a green light

(34:44):
to go out and try to kill them anytime they
use rhetoric like that, and something happens. Chuck Schumer goes
out and says, oh, as you meet consequences to Supreme
Court justices if they overturn, rovers is waged and yeah, yeah,
So some Democrat from California thought that that was a

(35:06):
green light to go out and Ashley attempt to assassinate
Justice Kavanaugh. Republicans don't do that, but it's the Democrats
that are violent enough to do that. And next up,
who is another Democrat that is using all this rhetoric.

(35:28):
Minnesota Governor Tim Watts, who's also ran for Vice president
with the Kamala there were better known as tampon Tim.
He's the governor of Minnesota. So he spoke at the
University of Minnesota commencement address for the University of Minnesota

(35:53):
law school students. So these are people that are graduating
law school going out to be lawyers, and he asked
to stir the pot. Okay, this guy has to go
out there and run his mouth and bash Trump right
at the commencement address, it's really a bad thing. But

(36:18):
he is stirring the pot. And I got a clip
from him and a play that. Yeah, he says that.
He says a lot of stuff like moder day Gestapo
and everything else about Trump. Mm check this out. I
got the clip right here for.

Speaker 10 (36:36):
You, right now, more than any other time in my lifetime.

Speaker 14 (36:40):
We need you to live up to the oath that
you're about to take, because I have to be honest
with you.

Speaker 10 (36:44):
You are graduating into a genuine emergency.

Speaker 14 (36:47):
Every single day the President of the United States finds
new ways to trample rights and undermine the rule of law.

Speaker 10 (36:53):
Now, I get it for some of you out there.

Speaker 14 (36:54):
Some would say, well, it was getting way too political
for a commencement address, But I would argue I wouldn't
be honoring my oath if I didn't address this head on.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Oh whatever, whatever.

Speaker 14 (37:12):
Tampon, tim And I'm going to start with the flashing
red light. Donald Trump's modern da Escapo is scooping folks
up off the streets. They're in unmarked vans, wearing masks,
being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons.

Speaker 10 (37:29):
No chance to mount a defense, not even a chance
to kiss.

Speaker 14 (37:32):
The love one and goodbye, just grabbed up by massed agents,
shoved into those vans, and disappeared to be clear, there's
no way for us to know whether they were actually
criminals or not. Because they refused to give them a trial.
We're supposed to just take their word for it. And
when duly elected members of Congress tried to exercise their
constitutional right of oversight at an ice facility, they get

(37:53):
shoved around and threatened with the rest and when courts
told them repeatedly to knock it off, they brazenly defy them. Meanwhiley,
we have an aspiring fascist in Stephen Miller on TV
talking about suspending habeas corpus. All of you know this
that's only used in times of rebellion or emergency, neither
of which is happening right now. By the way, they're

(38:16):
not only kicking out folks who are undocumented here, they're
kicking out citizens.

Speaker 10 (38:21):
A few weeks ago they kicked.

Speaker 14 (38:22):
Out three children, all under eight years old. One of
them had brain crancer. For Christ's sakes, it's not iperpoctly
to say we're not far from a world where anyone
could get that knock at a door, and there's no
guarantee you'd get your day in court, or that you'd
ever make it home alive from whatever corner of the
world they stick you in.

Speaker 10 (38:39):
And then you have a vice president.

Speaker 14 (38:42):
When not getting chastised by various popes, he's offering up
horrific arguments.

Speaker 10 (38:47):
Horrific arguments. It is his view that due process is optional.

Speaker 14 (38:53):
I don't know what the hell they teach at Yale,
but the Constitution is pretty clear. It doesn't say only
if it's can. It's crystal clear. Here's a thing. Due
process isn't just lawyers speak. It's a right that stretches
back centuries. It was rested away from kings that heroes
fought and died for.

Speaker 10 (39:13):
And we're just going to surrender it.

Speaker 14 (39:17):
Surrender it to Donald Trump, a guy whose only knowledge
of the law is by being a criminal defendant himself.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
WHOA that's deep. That is deep, Tim.

Speaker 14 (39:29):
And I am going to talk about it. It's happening
in front of our eyes. I'm going to talk about this,
damn Jet. I don't know if you heard it. The
president is getting this. I'm a little obsessive about things
that really irritate the crap out of me, and this
type of stuff, because this palace in the sky is
getting from the Qatari government, which he gets to keep
for himself when he's done. Let's be very clear, it's

(39:52):
a flying bride, blatantly unconstitutional. Even worse, this whole deal
was signed off on by the Attorney General of the
Uni United States, ostensibly our nation's top lawyer, famously an
independent job. But now the Attorney General Pambondi, is acting
as the president's personal attorney, and weirdly enough, coincidentally enough,

(40:14):
she happens to be a lobbyist for the government of Qatar.
This is what the crumbling of rule of law looks
like in real time, and it's exactly what the founders
of this nation feared, a tyrant abusing power to persecute
scapegoats and enemies. Look, I get it. There's nervous folks
on my side of the aisle. They don't want us
to touch any of this. I keep hearing this. Oh

(40:36):
the polling. Really it sucks talking about this. It's a
distraction from more important issues. Consultants said, steer away from
talking about this rule of law stuff. But caring about
this stuff isn't partisanship or politics.

Speaker 10 (40:49):
It's patriotism.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
The rule of law.

Speaker 10 (40:52):
It's the whole ballgame.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Oh gosh, him a lot of lies in there. I
mean that jet that's gonna be used as air Force one.
That's not a gift for him that the government's gonna
keep that, it's gonna be the new air Force one.
So that's a lie from tampon Tim. But he's a Democrats,
so we just don't listen to him. But yeah, this

(41:20):
guy is just trying to stir the pot. He really is.
That's all the Democrats have is stir the pot. They're
not going to see they lost and they don't have
anything now. They have no power left. Republicans have all
the power. We have the entire executive brand, both Houses

(41:45):
of Congress, the Supreme Court, we have everything. They got none.
So that's all they can do is try to destroy
us any way they can. Instead of working with the
Republicans to strengthen the country, clean up Joe Biden's mess,
and then go into the midterms next year with a
chance of winning some power back, they figure dog the

(42:09):
Republicans all they can they and that's their strategy. It's
not gonna work. It's not gonnaf fare. Over with the
swing voters, so they might not win anything back, but
but that's all they do attack Republicans. And speaking of
attacking Republicans, there is a town hall see the Democrats,

(42:34):
And I've been covering this on the program a lot recently.
Democrats are showing up to Republican town halls, you know,
Republican members of Congress having a town hall, and they
cause a disturbance and they end up getting physically thrown

(42:55):
out by the police. And they say, oh, it's freedom
of speech. Well no, it's you know, you have a
freedom of speech. But that's private property. Even if it's
a public building. If you rent out a hall or
not aitorium or something ballroom of a hotel or whatever

(43:16):
to have something like that, that becomes private property for
the moment, and you can be tossed out for causing
a disturbance. Because every time they have a town hall,
Republican has a town hall, a Democrat has to come
in there and start yelling and throwing a tyrant rant
and they do it so the Republican that's hosting the

(43:41):
town hall can't even speak. They do, see, they do
to stop Republican's freedom of speech. So if they want
to talk about freedom of speech. That's what they do.
That's what they're doing. So here is one in Iowa.
It was actually Iowa Republicans sent well U S senator

(44:02):
from Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley. I think he's like
ninety one years old. And yeah, you got some libtar Democrat,
a couple of Democrats that went in there and started
a rent just like this.

Speaker 6 (44:20):
Ship.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Okay, I would welcome refugees and I would welcome people.
And you've gotta bring that guy from Salvador.

Speaker 9 (44:35):
Why not, Well, because that's not that's.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Not bring Trump.

Speaker 17 (44:52):
Don't care or does that stand the Supreme Court?

Speaker 2 (45:03):
He just said no, Yeah, I'll be able to ask
your question.

Speaker 12 (45:09):
You ignore my letter, independent country, the president.

Speaker 17 (45:19):
We can't hear you.

Speaker 14 (45:20):
The president of that country is not subject for our
US Supreme.

Speaker 6 (45:30):
O.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Well, if you stop yelling, you can hear them. I
mean guys ninety one years old. Of course you can't
hear them. But Democrats would stop yelling, you could hear
him speak ab I can't hear you. Well, stop yelling
and I can hear you. That's logic of the Democrats.
That's is who they are. That's why I call the
Democrat Party, domestic terrorists because they basically are. Anyway, time

(45:55):
for break, last break of the program. Got a few
more great stories for you, and we'll finish them off
in one minute when I come back. So yees, stick around.

Speaker 6 (46:08):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.

Speaker 13 (46:33):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
And welcome on back final stretch of the program ahead
of us, as we are wrapping up the episode for
Memorial Day week here in America. So, like I said,
hopefully everybody is going to be able to enjoy Memorial Day.
Have a barbecue, go to a lake, do that fun,

(47:11):
enjoy the day, and just remember what the day is
all about. That it's not about barbecuing. It's you know,
it's about honoring those who fought and died for us.
So anyway, like I said, you got a few more
great stories for us, So let's go ahead and continue

(47:36):
on as show.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
People do crazy things, but karma always catches.

Speaker 6 (47:42):
Up with them, and as the saying goes, serves you right.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
Okay, So we have as we had that rate on
the ice facility in New Jersey a couple of weeks ago.
There's three members of Congress that were involved in raiding
that facility. They say, oh, we have a right to
go in there and commit oversight, but they had to

(48:08):
shove their way in and they're charged with being charged
with assaulting ice agents. Okay, you don't have the right
to do that, hey, being members of Congress, if you
had a right to be there, you should be able
to just walk in. But they're out there protesting with

(48:30):
the mayor of Newark, and they had to shove their
way in and shove through ice agents. And now they
might be facing consequences. And first up see see Nancy Mace.
Congresswoman Nancy Mayce. She's introducing a resolution to expel House

(49:00):
Representative mc ivor for assaulting ice. Now that might not go.
I mean, they don't have They're probably not going to
get enough votes to do because they need two thirds voting.
There might not be enough Democrats that want to get
one of their own, you know, because it's so you know,

(49:23):
all the parties are brotherhood. They won't you know, screw
their own people. But so that might not work, but
at least they're trying to introduce articles for expulsion, starting
with congress Woan mac ivor.

Speaker 4 (49:41):
Resolution or filed a resolution that would expel Congressman mac
Ivor for her assaulting federal officers. This is not the
first time that the House or Congress would attempt to
expel a member of Congress. Of course, there have been
six members of Congress that have been totally expelled in

(50:02):
congressional history. Most recently would have been the one with
George Santos in December of twenty twenty three. There are
other measures to censure, for example, Congresswoman McIvor, to kick
her off or committees, et cetera for assaulting federal officers,
which is another tool on the toolbox that we can
use in the House to punish members who because they're

(50:25):
not no member of Congresses above the law. No, and
this falls into that category as well. And with that
we'll take some questions.

Speaker 2 (50:33):
Okay, so yeah, they can censure her, which basically does
absolutely nothing, kick her off committees, that's fine too. Introduced
articles to have or expelled. At least it'll send the
message to these people that they can't get away from

(50:54):
you know. But she can still even though she's a
sitting member of Congress, she can still be charged, and
that's what they're planning on doing. Assault charges. She could
face I think up to six years in prison, I
think they're saying, and a huge fine for that. I say,
bring that on. Definitely bring it on. So but Mike

(51:20):
Johnson also goes on to talk about disciplinary action for
these three members of the House that were involved in
rating that ICE facility in New Jersey.

Speaker 7 (51:32):
Well, look, there's three possible disciplinary actions in Congress. The
House can take Okay, you can since you're a member,
and that probably does seem appropriate here. You can kick
them off committees. That's a new tradition but gone by
the Democrats in recent years. And you can expel someone
from Congress. Now, expulsion requires a two thirds of vote.
That's not likely because the margins are small on both sides.

(51:55):
But you know, we're looking at what is appropriate. Look,
I think I think it's pretty clear that the law
was violent. You might have noticed the Wisconsin judge that
was trying to conceal the illegal alien that was going
to be apprehended by ICE. A federal grand jury indicted
the judge. I think that was late yesterday. Uh, and
I'm told that she'll be brought up on charge, maybe

(52:16):
facing potentially six years in jail and three hundred fifty
thousand dollars in fines because she obstructed the proceedings, obstructed justice,
and was engaged in other activities. So look this, what
what these House Democrats did is in that that same lane,
the same vein at what the judge is being indicted for.
So I think there's some I think there's some legal

(52:36):
ramifications to play out here and we'll see how it's.

Speaker 2 (52:39):
Yeah, it's uh, well, yeah, I mean there's a lot
of stuff that can go on. I mean, Attorney General
Pam BONDI, Tom Holman, none of these people are going
to sit back and just let these Democrats just do it.
You know, there the entire party and everybody in this
country was warned, but no they thought, oh, I'm above

(53:01):
the law, I'm special. I can get away with it.
But no you can't. So try them and find out,
and well you need to make an example out of somebody.
You know, maybe the Democrat Party realized, Okay, these guys

(53:21):
mean business. So yeah, anyway, oh yeah, James Colly, if
you remember James Comy former FBI director posting the eighty
six forty seven post was questioned by the Secret Service.
We don't know if if charges are going to be

(53:42):
brought up on him. We don't know. But James Comy
just recently had a book signing and some reporter from
Fox News went up to they get his book signed,
brought the camera with and confronts James Comy with this.

Speaker 7 (54:05):
Check it out, reinstruct to write their portions of the
budget reconciliation.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
That's not the audio clip that I have. Oh I see, sorry,
it's this one right here. Sorry, push the wrong button again.
Here it is right, Hello, director Comy?

Speaker 9 (54:24):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (54:25):
Thank you? Jesse Waters from.

Speaker 5 (54:26):
Fox has a question, why are you on an eighty
six trump?

Speaker 2 (54:32):
All right, director, I'm not taking a questions like that, Matt,
But why why would you? Why would you post that?
Director Comy? How was your interview with the Secret Service?

Speaker 10 (54:48):
You want the book signed?

Speaker 9 (54:49):
Really?

Speaker 5 (54:50):
Absolutely?

Speaker 6 (54:50):
Okay?

Speaker 10 (54:50):
You got it?

Speaker 2 (54:53):
Do you sign my Seashell too?

Speaker 1 (54:56):
WHI speach?

Speaker 2 (54:56):
Is this that you're going to? Do you find a
Kamala Seashell eighty six seven? Oh no, I just came
across that. I thought it was funny. Abisha has all
these seashells already on it. Alright, all right, that was funny,

(55:20):
but yeah, I mean former director Komy, you know, he
probably does deserve some of that. But alright, a couple
more great stories left. Go ahead and get right to it.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
Have opinions on your favorite top news stories.

Speaker 6 (55:37):
Well so does Brian. All of your news delivered like
no one else.

Speaker 1 (55:42):
It's time for Brian's news insights.

Speaker 2 (55:47):
All right. So, there's been rumors going around that Trump
may give a pardon for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin,
the guy who apparently killed George Floyd. You know, actually
five years ago this weekend on Morrol Day in twenty twenty.

(56:09):
He's serving i think, what was it, twenty two and
a half years in state prison for killing George Floyd's
second degree murder and twenty years in federal prison for
violating his George Floyd's civil rights. Now, Trump has never

(56:29):
said anything, but there's a rumor going around that says
that Trump is planning on doing it, and Governor Tampon
tim and everyone is getting ready for riots because oh,
if that happens, there's going to be riots. Well, first
of all, Trump will only have pardon power to pardon

(56:52):
him on the federal charges, which is violating Floyd's civil rights.
President Trump cannot pardon Derek Chauvin for state charges, which
is the murder. So even if he did get a part,
and he'd still have to finish out his twenty two
and a half year sentence still in prison, he'll just
get moved from federal prison to state prison. Will there

(57:17):
be riots if that happens, Well, I don't know. It
will still be in prison. But to address the rumors Minneapolis, please,
Chief Brian O'Hara comes out and says, yeah, there's no
credible evidence that's going to happen. It's just a rumor.

Speaker 8 (57:34):
We all saw that video. We all knew what was wrong,
including the President five years ago. And if you're not
familiar with what he said, google it. Google his reaction
to that video.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
Google it.

Speaker 8 (57:45):
So you know, while there certainly is no credible information
that something like that would happen. Of course, because there's
all these rumors, we've been in communication with our partners
at the state at the federal level to ensure that
we and all of our partners are prepared in the

(58:05):
event that something like that happens and it causes some
type of civil disturbance. But to be clear, there is
no credible information that something like that is in them.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Yeah, of course, I mean it's just a rumor. It
could have been just another lie established by the left,
since that's all they've been doing lately is lying. In
order for Derek Chauvin to get full pardons for everything, well, one,
President Trump would have to pardon him for his federal charges,

(58:41):
which is violating Floyd's civil rights. And then when we
have the red wave in Minnesota during the mid terms
next year, the Republican governor, Republican everything, he can probably
be pardoned on the state charges, but we have to
see if that's going to happen, and then he'll walk free.

(59:06):
Should Derek Chauvin be let free, Well, there's so much evidence,
and I covered this trial on this program five years
ago that a lot of the medical evidence showed that
he died of the drug overdose that he took before
he fought and struggled with police. So he may have
died that way. But even if Derek Chauvin is totally guilty,

(59:31):
if you remember years before that officer Mohammed nuor Minneapolis
police officer who was black killed a white person, just
went and shot her because he claimed he got scared
by her. So he ended up serving three years and

(59:54):
then he was it was reversed and he was let
off to walk free. What about that? I mean, sure,
Derek Chauvin, should he not get pardoned, but this colored
officer can. What about that? Is that acceptable needs to

(01:00:18):
be fair for one, fair for all. Right, Now we
gotta see what that's gonna end up happening. All Right,
it's been one hour here in the program. Usually I
try to keep my shows within an hour, but I
do have one more story, one quick story i'd like
to get through before we end.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
People do a lot of things that are just too
hard to believe.

Speaker 13 (01:00:42):
So we've prepared this segment called Seriously, You've got to
be kidding me.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
So a man in Texas is suing what a Burger
because apparently they put onions on his burger and he
ordered no onions on his burger. So the guy is
allergic to onions. And the guy's name is Demrie Wilson

(01:01:13):
of Texas. Here's a lowdown. He sued Sonic where he's
suing Sonic for a million dollars. Who last the Air
put onions on his burger. He ordered him without onions,
and he had an allergic reaction. And now the same
thing happened at What A Burger and he's suing for

(01:01:33):
two hundred and fifty thousand dollars for apparently the same thing.
So like, this guy's a looks like he's a professional sewer, right,
wants to make a living suing one person, then the
next and the next if you get away with it, right,

(01:01:56):
So he sues Sonic if he gets away. Not sure
if there's an out come in that case yet, but
he's suing Sonic for a million dollars punitive damages because oh,
I ordered with no onions, they put onions on it,
a an allergic reaction. Well that's one thing. So if

(01:02:16):
you get away with it, you're gonna do it again.
So he went to What a Burger in July of
twenty twenty four, had the same thing happen, YadA YadA.
So What a Burger is fighting it. They're saying, well,
you need to prove that you ordered it with no onions,
and you have to prove that you got the burger

(01:02:41):
with no onions. And that's what happened. If you want
my opinion, I think that's true. You need to prove
that you ordered it without onions and that you got
onions from us. It has to have to prove that
you got it from us with onions on it. You

(01:03:01):
know what you need to prove, and I think you do.
And what needs to come out in this case is
need to be What needs to come out is that
he's a professional sewer and that he's done this before
and he's gonna get money and then he's gonna do
it again, which that looks really bad in the court system.

(01:03:26):
And furthermore, now, if you're allergic to onions, I'm gonna
give my opinion here, you should be checking your burger
for onions. Don't just order it and just say, hey,
I order it without onions. It's gonna magically be without onions. Right.
These people are not gonna make a mistake because they're

(01:03:48):
they work in customer service. They're supposed to be perfect.
They're not supposed to be human. They're supposed to be
perfect and not make a mistake. Well, I can tell
you this. I worked for White Castle back in the night.
I worked for them for ten years. I was a
manager for most of those years. And I can tell
you for fact that in a fast paced business like that,

(01:04:09):
you can order stuff whatever you want. We do our
best and ninety nine percent of the time it becomes perfect.
But there's that one time that mistakes are going to happen. Okay,
it's easy in a fast paced business to make a
mistake like that. They order without pickle or whatever pickle

(01:04:34):
ordinarily comes on. You're making them fast comes an assembly line,
boom boom, boom, you make it. It's easy to accidentally
do that. If you are allergic to onions. You should
be checking your food before you eat it flat out,
you know, especially if it's happened. Before it happened at Sonic,

(01:04:57):
he sued them, got a million dollars. You should know. Okay,
mistakes happen. Check your food. So he goes to Whataburger,
mistake happens. He wants to sue again. That's probably what happens.
He wants to be a professional sewer. Should this guy
get any money? No, you should be checking your food.

(01:05:17):
I check my food all the time. There's a Denny's
around here that was making food wrong. I ordered entree,
they made it totally wrong. They made it like Middle
Eastern style, and I complained. I got the manager said, Hey,
this isn't how I want my food. This isn't how
he's supposed to make it, please or make it and

(01:05:40):
they did. Did I sue him? No? But check your food,
that's it. That's this is what I think you should
be doing. But hopefully this guy's a nutcase. He's a
professional sewer, if you want my opinion, and he shouldn't
be doing that, you know, I mean, you know, I don't.

(01:06:05):
I mean, I don't mind if somebody's suing somebody, if
something really happened, like if there's medication that was made
wrong and you had a problem, I mean, there's nothing
you could do about that. You take a pill thing,
you know it's gonna do the right thing. But Injusia,
that's different. If there's real food that's contaminated that you

(01:06:28):
can't see, that's different. You had multiple lawsuits. I mean,
if it's all legit, that's one thing. But I think
this guy is just being careless, acts like there's no
responsibility on his part to check his food. And that's

(01:06:49):
what I think you should do, all right. So Memore
of the Day weekend, everybody's out barbecuing. Well, check your food.
I don't know you have a burger at somebody's backyard barbecue.
Won't check your food, all right, just make sure you
have no allergic reactions. So that's gonna do it for me.

(01:07:10):
