Speaker 2 (00:50):
Happy Independence Day everyone. I hope everybody's had a great
Fourth of July. Wherever you were, hopefully had great weather.
Your barbecue didn't get rained out with a lot of
the storms that were across most of the country. So
I hope everyone is able to have a great day

(01:11):
to celebrate the birth of our nation two hundred and
forty nine years. I mean, you know, it just means
that next year two hundred and fifty years, which is
called a semi quin centennial anniversary of our of our birth,

(01:34):
we have the semi quin Centennial of our nation's Army,
which was from seventeen seventy five. We had that last month.
So but yeah, I hope everyone had a great, great
Independence Day. I know I did, had a great barbecue
and everything, and.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
All Americans, I want to wish you are very happy
in Dependence Day. Happy fourth of July. There's going to
be something special on this spirit in this country. We
haven't seen anything like it in many, many years and decades.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yep. Well, it's just, you know, there's a lot of
stuff going on in the world. We had a great
time for Republicans and Trump's agenda. There's stuff that's a
lot of sparked, a lot of controversy. So yeah, we're

(02:36):
going to talk about that for this entire episode. So
let's get right onto it.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
It's time for Brian's conservative take on politics.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Because being conservative is the only way to be.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Because when he's right, he's right.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Okay, So we had the big, beautiful bill that got passed.
It's just the Democrats they don't like it. They really

(03:16):
just don't like it. So it narrowly passes. Okay, it didn't.
It passed by a slim majority, and that's all we've
you know, I had it by But the first thing
it did is see the House passed it a while ago.

(03:41):
The Senate obviously made some changes for it. They had
their version of the bill, and then they passed it.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
On this vote.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
The Ya's are fifty, the Na's are fifty.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
The Senate being evenly divided, the Vice President votes in
the affirmative.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
The bill as amended is passed.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, so that's you know, fifty to fifty. We have
fifty three Republicans in the Senate. Three of them defected,
you know, they vote with the Democrats and saying now
we're not going to do it. So as you heard,
their Vice President JD. Vance voted, is the tie breaking

(04:27):
vote right there. So it nearly passed that and then
it goes over to the House and it passed there
by a slight majority, but it ended up passing. Now

(04:53):
we we all thought it would fail, but it passed
the House.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Eighteen the to fourteen.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
The motion is adopted, all right to eighteen to two fourteen.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It passed. I mean, now, yeah, it you had a
little bit better luck in the House, and it didn't
say we all thought it was gonna fail. The Democrats
were hoping that it would fail. But it's a good
thing that it didn't. I mean, there's a lot of
misconceptions going on. See the Democrats have they started a

(05:44):
lot of rumors. Okay, now we're gonna dispel those rumors
over the next hour while I do this episode. So
in a nutshell, this is what's going on. And like
I said, I've got a lot of audio clips I'm
gonna cover through this episode. But here's the deal. The

(06:12):
twenty seventeen tax cuts for all Americans. Okay, yeah, I
mean the rich are in there, but mainly the middle
and lower class is in there. We had the tax
cuts of twenty seventeen, which was gonna expire this year.
Now this big beautiful bill, this megabill that just got passed,

(06:37):
makes those tax cuts permanent. Okay, it makes them permanent.
Without the passage of this bill, there's gonna be a
tax hike. It's well, not really a tax hike, just
the tax cuts expire. So taxes are gonna go up
without us doing anything. And that's what the Democrats want.

(07:00):
They want the taxes increase so that way they can say, oh,
see what these Republicans did. They raised everybody's taxes. But no,
now when they say, oh, there's tax cuts for the billionaires, oh,
they're cutting medicaid for to give tax cuts to the billionaires. Well,

(07:22):
first of all, there's no cuts to medicaid except for
illegal immigrants, right, They're not getting it. So when they say, well,
they're getting tax cuts for the billionaires, well, I mean,
what's true. I mean, the billionaires are getting tax cuts,
but so is everybody else, the middle class, lower class, everybody.

(07:47):
They're failing to mention that. But when they say that,
they're making it sound like it's billionaires only or the
rich people only, which is not true. Right, That's just
that's just what they're saying. So okay, So, like I said,

(08:08):
we have a lot that's going on. Every the GOP
praise this bill, Democrats are doing whatever they can to
lie about the contents of the bill and what's going
to happen. They do that to get the American people,

(08:29):
mainly the swing voters, to hate the Republican Party. That's
what they want because the Democrats don't want the Republican
Party to succeed and clean up Joe Biden's mess. Because
that's the reason why this bill has to be passed.
We have to clean up Joe Biden's mess. Over the
past four years, Democrats don't want that. Democrats want the

(08:53):
four years under Trump to be a disaster so that
way they can start winning again, so they can destroy
the country. Okay, So okay, So, like I said, I
have a lot of audio that I am going to
play on this. So here is President Trump's statement on

(09:16):
the Big Beautiful Bill.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
This bill includes the largest tax cut in American history,
the largest spending cut in American history, the largest border
security investment in American history.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Although I must tell.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
You if you saw last month, they had zero people
coming through our border.

Speaker 8 (09:40):
Zero.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Great, I'm not sure.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
That's it impossible. You know, I'll take it, but somebody.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Must say gotta do it. Yeah. Okay, So there's a
lot of stuff in the bill. Okay, is there? President
Trump says that, well, it is. There are spending cuts.
I mean, we have to watch the spending. We can't
overspend because that's how you create inflation. DOGE hasn't covered

(10:08):
so much waste, fraud and abuse. That's what's being cut
out of the out of spending. Okay, when they say
they're cutting Medicaid and all this stuff, well, the only
thing they're cutting is the waste, fraud and abuse. You
heard this a million times from the Republicans. And that's
what they're doing. They're cutting it for legal immigrants and

(10:29):
people that are actually stealing it. Okay, that's what's being cut,
rightful recipients of medicaid. They're not losing anything, even though
the Democrats are saying that that's what's gonna happen. They
are gonna spend some money to obviously hire more border

(10:51):
patrol and ice agents to clean up the twenty million
illegals that Biden allowed to come through the border. But
it's it's gonna be good. It might cost a little
bit of money in the short term, but in the
long run, it is going to be great. So with that, Okay,

(11:24):
so I got somebody clips, let's start with let me
see here, how about Mike Johnson. Okay, okay, well let's
put this in there. There's also in this bill is
a provision to stop activist judges from trying to issue

(11:45):
nationwide injunctions and overstepping their their constitutional authority. Okay, that's
in the bill as well. We're not taking away their power,
we're just you know, stop But of course they never
really had the right to just issue injunctions on everything,
but this bill also makes it harder for them to

(12:10):
issue nationwide injunctions, which they have no right to do.

Speaker 7 (12:16):
So.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Mike Johnson was asked about that provision that's in the bill.
Here here it comes four.

Speaker 9 (12:27):
I let you go.

Speaker 10 (12:28):
I want to ask you about another provision that was
tucked into this bill. Democrats say it is weakening separation
of powers and punishing the courts. It's a specific provision
that would restrict a federal court's power to enforce injunctions
with contempt unless there's a bond attached to it. Sounds
really weedy, but it's causing a lot of outcry. If
this might get stripped out in the Senate any way,

(12:50):
why did you bother to stick it in?

Speaker 8 (12:51):
You bother to stick it in, because that's our responsibility
in Congress. It is about separation of powers, and right
now you have activist judges, a handful of them around
the country who are abusing that power. They're they're issuing
these nationwide injunctions. They're they're they're engaging in political acts
from the bench, and that is not what our system
is intended for.

Speaker 11 (13:10):
And people have.

Speaker 8 (13:10):
Lost their their their faith in our system of justice.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
We have to restore it.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
And bring it about.

Speaker 8 (13:15):
A simple reform like that is something that I think
everybody should applaud.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Yeah, I mean exactly, Now, who would oppose that? I mean,
of course Democrats hate it. Yeah, Democrats hate all this
stuff because you know, they don't want the country fixed.
They don't want the country to thrive under Republican control.
They don't want us to stop these activist judges. They

(13:39):
want to do whatever they can to try to rule
over the country and destroy everything. Yeah, not one Democrat
was going to support this bill no matter what. They're
programmed by their cult leaders to uh, just oppose it

(14:00):
no matter what. And yeah, you can't just but that's fine.
They don't have any power and they totally lost. They
did everything they can to stop this bill, but it
passed anyway. So Mike Johnson goes on to talk more

(14:24):
about this bill and to correct the lies of the
Democrats and say, yeah, they're not cutting medicaid. Even though
the Democrats are lying about it, They're.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
Not cutting Medicaid in this package. There's a lot of
misinformation out there about this, Jake. The numbers of Americans
who are affected are those that are entwined in our
work to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse. So what I mean,
what do I mean by that? You got more than
one point four million illegal aliens on medicaid. Medicaid is
not intended for non US citizens. For the most vulnerable

(15:01):
populations of Americans, which is pregnant women and young single mothers,
the disabled, the elderly, they are protected in what we're
doing because we're preserving the resources for those who need
it most. You're talking about four point eight million able
bodied workers, young men for example, who are on medicate
and not working. They are choosing not to work when
they can.

Speaker 10 (15:20):
That is called fraud.

Speaker 8 (15:21):
They are cheating the system. When you root out those
kinds of abuses, you save the resources that are so
desperately needed by the people who deserve it and need
it most. That's what we're doing, and that's why this
is the morality of what we're doing here is precisely right,
and it comports with all the public opinion polls. When
people ask whether young men, for example, who are able

(15:42):
bodied and have no dependent should be working, everybody says yes.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, of course we should be. That's the way it
should be. Who opposes that? Democrats because they want their
precious illegal immigrants to get free everything, because they need
their votes. That's the only way, that's the way that
they can only stay in power is to to do that.

(16:10):
But we stopped them.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
We won.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Yes. Great anyway, Time for a break, first break of
the program. We'll be back in one minute. Lots and
lots more to go, and we'll continue when I come back.
Stick around.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
And welcome on back as we are as we have
celebrated the independence of the free world this past week
and celebrating a victory of signing the big beautiful bill
into law. For all the skeptics out there, this is

(17:30):
actually gonna be really good. Don't listen to the Democrats.
This is something that had to be done. There's so
much great stuff in this bill that is going to
clean up the country. You might not see it right
at first, but it will. I mean it's gonna be great.
Just trust me on this. Of course, it has about

(17:54):
a year to start making things great if Republicans want
to retain power in the midterms. So, but it just
depends what the swing voters say. Okay, Now, Republicans all
know that this is a great bill, right. Democrats hate

(18:16):
everything about it, Okay, they really do. It's the swing
voters that matter. They are the ones that control the elections.
They're the ones that decide if we're gonna have a
red wave or a blue wave during an election, flat out.
So all right, continuing on, Yeah, we have lots of

(18:39):
audio heard. You've heard some of it in the last
segment before the break. You're gonna hear a lot more
because I just have a lot of great stuff. I
had a field day this past week recording all this
audio before Independence Day and all the stuff, having the
barbecue and just sitting there. They're like, oh, this is

(19:00):
a good idea clip. Might as well save this for
my episode. And that's why I did. It's my civic
duty to do this show and to bring you all
the good stuff. That's what I do here. So we
heard from Mike Johnson before the break, got one more
audio clip. I am now, as I said, no Democrat

(19:22):
voted for this bill, right, they don't want to fix anything.
And yeah, Mike Johnson goes on to saying that, yeah,
he's a little shocked that Democrats don't want to save
this country, but he's not at all surprised that nobody
voted for this bill on the Democrat side of the isle.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
Were you surprised, honestly that not a single Democrats across
the aisle to vote for either version of this bill
in the Senate or in the House, Not one Democrat.

Speaker 8 (19:56):
I can't believe that they did, but I'm not surprised. Look,
this is not your father's Democratic Party. I mean, look,
they've gone far woke, progressive left, and they don't seem
to be able to recognize they've got to turn and
come back to the center. They're going further and further left.
You see that with candidates that are emerging around the
country and some of the actions and antics that they've
done on the House floor as they did today, They

(20:16):
don't seem to recognize that they're committing political suicide for
their party. Meanwhile, Republicans are not into pageantry or performance.
We are delivering results. That's what we did today, and
I tell you what this bill is going to help
every single American It is geared for the working, hard
working middle American middle class people and it's going to
give them great economic relief.

Speaker 7 (20:36):
And we had the.

Speaker 8 (20:36):
Largest tax cuts in US history that we adopted today.
The Democrats voted against those tax cuts.

Speaker 9 (20:43):
Right.

Speaker 8 (20:43):
We had the largest savings, largest spending reductions ever enacted
by Congress. We did that today in the bill as
well as border security, national security, American energy dominates. All
the priorities the President talked about on the kimpaign trail,
and we did too. We delivered.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Yeah, all the priorities that President Trump promise on the
campaign trail was in this bill. So all the promises
that he made promises kept. And that's what the Democrats
really really hate about the passage of this bill. They

(21:20):
say they voted they all voted no because oh, they
don't want tax cut for billionaires. Well, there's tax cuts
for the middle class in there too. They didn't mention
that any reporter tried to ask him about that. They
just avoid answering the question. That's usually what happened. That's

(21:41):
why I don't have any audio on that. They avoid
answering that question because Democrats know that there's tax cuts
for middle class in there too. They just want to say, oh,
tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, because there's tax cuts
for everybody, so yeah, they're included in there. So they're

(22:02):
not really lying when there's tax cuts for millionaires in there,
because there are. But there's tax cuts for middle and
lower class in there as well. No tax on tips
that's in there, no tax on overtime, no tax for seniors.
This is the stuff that the Democrats voted know for.

(22:26):
As you heard from Speaker Johnson says all that it's true.
So okay, Like I said, I got a list of
audio clips here, just trying to prioritize which ones to
play first, which ones to do last. You know, I

(22:48):
am gonna probably put the Democrats play some of them last,
because no one wants to listen to their lies right away.
So I'm gonna tell the truth about the bill, and
then we'll get to the Democrats and listen to their lies,
and then.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
I'll correct them.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Okay, how about that? Does that sound like a fair deal?
So okay, So I got so many good ones too,
it's kind of hard to pick which order I want
to do them in. Okay, how about this one? Texas
Congressman Dan Crenshaw. He just sat there and he corrected

(23:28):
a lot of lies on the big beautiful bill. This
is good. Check this one out here.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
It's choosing not to work. Number one. Democrats say we're
kicking poor people off Medicaid. Here's the reality. CBO numbers
four point eight million. Of those numbers are from able
bodied adults choosing not to work. They're not being kicked off.
They're being told to work or volunteer or look for work.
That directly contradicts what was just said by miss Schreier.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
By the way, here's another number.

Speaker 6 (23:58):
One point six million are applicative enroll lees, or we're
enrolled in two states at the same time. Here's another number,
one point two million individuals. They're not even eligible for
coverage in the first place, just according to the laws.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
That we have.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
Like illegal immigrants.

Speaker 6 (24:13):
Another one point four million people are illegal immigrants. That's
not exactly the narrative they've been spinning, is it. Number
two Democrats say we're taking away substance abuse treatment.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
That is just false.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
This bill specifically exempts individuals with substance use disorders full stop.
Number three Democrats say we're cutting medicaid here's the reality.
An actual analysis by CBO Medicaid basedline projection shows Medicaid
spending will still grow grow by six and a half
percent above twenty twenty one projections even after this eight
hundred billion dollars in saving. So let me ask you,

(24:47):
how can one honestly claim we're cutting a program that
is actually still growing? Just intellectually, how can you claim
that we're asking for a friend. Number four Democrats say
there aren't i legal aliens in Medicaid.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
Here's the reality. We ne those states are doing this.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
California uses a managed care organization tax scheme to shift
costs to the federal government that frees up about five
point two billion dollars in state funds. California then uses
that money to pay for Medicaid coverage for illegal immigrants,
skirting the federal band. This bill closes the loophole by
cutting federal funding by ten percent for states that use
Medicaid or other state based programs to cover illegal immigrants.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Vast majority of Americans would agree with that.

Speaker 6 (25:26):
Number five Democrats say we're causing steep state budget cuts
by changing provider tax and state directed payment rules. Here's
the reality. State directed payments in Medicaid managed care arrangements
have actually grown by about sixty two percent between February
twenty twenty three and August of twenty twenty four. These

(25:46):
payments do have a place in supporting our hospitals. Texas
uses them to support our most needy. But you have
to have common sense. You can't let them grow out
of control and let them grow indefinitely. All we're doing
is freezing the provider tax and statement directed payments. That's it.
It's a freeze. This will preserve payments for hospitals that
need them. So guess what again, no cuts? The sky

(26:09):
is not falling. Look in summary, this bill is nothing
like democrats claim nothing. It's past three am, and I've
watched my colleagues make false statement after false statement for
the sole purpose of scaring the most vulnerable in our society.
Democrats have forced disabled Medicaid recipients to travel to DC
and crowd the committee room for nothing but cynical political theater.

(26:29):
And my message to all of you who are tricked
into being here, guess why your Medicaid benefits aren't at
risk under this bill?

Speaker 5 (26:35):
Full stop. They're using you and they're lying to you.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Yeah, exactly, that's exactly right. That's all the Democrats are doing.
They're they're making stuff up. It's this bill is nothing
like what the Democrats are saying it is. But all
the Democrats in this country are member of a cult.

(26:59):
That's why call them a cult, because all they do
is believe what they're God and Lord and saviors and
that run the Democratic cult. Tell them, right, that's all
they do is believe it, you know, instead of checking
stuff out. Because I've argued this week with a lot

(27:21):
of Democrats on social media and I correct them and
they say, why don't you read the bill? I'm like,
I have. Have you read the bill? Or are you
just listening to what people like Chuck Schumer are telling
you that stuff is in the bill when it's not? Okay?

(27:47):
So yeah, okay. So you had this other audio clip here.
This one's a good one too, Jim Jordan. He tells
us why Democrats don't like the big beautiful bill, and
I think we know why. But here's what Jim Jordan
says about that.

Speaker 12 (28:06):
You know why the Democrats disliked this bill so much
because it's so darn republican. Does three fundamental embraces three
fundamental Republican principles. Cut taxes, secures, the border, requires work.
We're the party that believes you should let mom and
dads keep more of their money to chase down their
goals and dreams. We're the party that believes you should
actually have a secure border. This bill does it, as

(28:27):
Chairman Green just pointed out. And we're the party that
believes able bodied adults, if they're gonna get your money,
should have to work. It's good for taxpayers, it's good
for the economy. Most importantly, it's good for that individual.
This bill embraces three fundamental principles of our party. That's
why I think it's really important that Republicans lean in

(28:48):
and go tell the American people how important this legislation is,
how it keeps faith with what we told the voters
we were going to do last November, why they elected us.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
And it's right, yeah, that's exactly why. Sorry about the
unclear audio there, but Jim Jordans said the correct thing.
This is what we told the American people last November
what we're gonna do, and we did it.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
Right.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
We just delivered on that. Democrats don't like this bill, well,
so what so what they don't want the economy to
be strengthened under Republican control. They don't want us to
cut waste, fraud, and abuse. They don't want us to

(29:38):
stop giving bit free benefits to legal immigrants. They don't
want border security, they don't want national security, they don't
want energy dominance, they don't want any of that. They
don't want people to work. Okay, but that's just tough

(29:58):
rocos for the Democrats. Okay, And if you believe otherwise,
well I got to say is that while you're not
part of the problem.

Speaker 6 (30:09):
You are the problem.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
So anyway, with that said, time for a break, second
break of the program. Be back in one minute. Lots
and lots more to go, stick around, be right back.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
And welcome on back. So grateful for everyone who's listening
from wherever you're listening from across America and throughout the world,
across the Pruited Plains. Yeah, so grateful that you are
listening as we are talking about the passage of probably

(31:30):
one of the biggest pieces of legislation in American history,
The Big Beautiful Bill is that we like to call
it a name picked by Donald Trump just because it's great.
It's it's glorious. Almost all of President Trump's campaign promises

(31:54):
in one package. It got passed. Okay, it got passed.
It's law now. So we're gonna have border security, you're
rid of illegals, Strengthen the national security, Strengthen the economy,
energy dominance, gas prices going down. It's all gonna come.

(32:18):
It's all gonna come. Democrats can't do a darn thing
about it, even though they tried everything they could to
stop it. Nothing they lost. They can't fight this in
the courts. The Supreme Court already told these activist judges

(32:41):
to stop issuing injunctions where they don't have the authority.
And the Democrats they're just going far left. You heard
Mike Johnson earlier on say that, Yeah, this Democrat Party
has gotten more woke even since the election. That's why
they lost the election in November, and even since then,

(33:04):
they've gone more woke and more far left. And these
Democratic candidates that are starting to come out for like
the next elections, they're even worse than what we've had.
My goodness, is that what they think that they're going
to use to win elections. Well, just hopefully they don't.

(33:29):
But anyway, that doesn't matter because America is winning right
now and that's all we have to worry about. So
all right, So continuing on, like I said, lots more
great audio as we talk about the passage of the
Big Beautiful Bill. All right, so you got some more

(33:53):
gop audio clips. We'll get to the Democrats and the
crap that they're saying. We'll get to that momentarily. But
got a few more great Republicans that have a lot
of great stuff to say. So Congressman Steve Scalise, Now

(34:17):
this is what he says to celebrate after the passage
of the Big Beautiful Bill.

Speaker 13 (34:26):
Democrats made it very clear they didn't want to have
any part in helping get America back on track again.
But we were never deterred when this bill could have
failed ten times over, we said we were going to
get this done and failure is not an option, and
we meant it. Yeah, we knew we were fighting for

(34:46):
the families who had been struggling for way too long
under the failed policies of Joe Biden and all the
Democrats who did have control of Washington. For too long,
we watched higher interest rates and higher inflation and lower
wages and a demise of the American dream that we
knew should not be permanent but was only going to

(35:08):
turn around if we passed a bill to get America
back on track. We knew we had to prevent a
massive tax increase, so we put it in the bill.
We knew we needed to secure America's border, as President
Trump ran on all across this country and won the
election on and we put it in this bill. We

(35:28):
ran on and said we would produce more American energy,
and we put it in this bill. All the things
that we knew we needed to do to root at waste,
fraud and abuse, and government focus on those families who
were struggling, all of that is in this one big,
beautiful bill. And yes, now the House has come together

(35:49):
and passed this bill.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Yeah, exactly, this bill. Failure was not an option on
this We had to pass to save this country and
the clean up Joe Biden's mess over the past four years.
This bill was crucial. Okay, it's just a shame that

(36:13):
there are Republicans that voted no on this. I mean
they it should have been passed. Is this what we
need to to save the country. As you just heard
Congressman Scalise there tell us that that it was crucial,

(36:34):
crucial for Donald Trump and the Republican Party because if
he couldn't, if Donald Trump could not keep any of
his campaign promises, Republican Party would be in deep doggy
doo doo. But everything that we need to do is
in this bill. Democrats cannot stop America from thriving anymore

(37:02):
because it's all in this bill. Everything it's all great.
They can't do anything, but they can't stop the border anymore.
It's there. So okay, so now let's do this. Let's
move on to listen to all the crap that the

(37:23):
Democrats are telling. Yeah, I know, I don't want to
listen to these people any more than anyone else, but well,
just listen to all the lies and then, like I said,
we heard the truth. Now let's listen to all the

(37:44):
lies the Democrats were saying about the Billy. Here is
Maxine waters On and her rant On the bill.

Speaker 14 (37:53):
This big ugly bill strips healthcare from seventeen million Americans,
shutters hospitals, and will starve twelve million people by taking
away their food stamps. These cuts add up to one
point three trillion dollars the exact costs of the tax
cut Republicans are handing out to the richest one percent

(38:14):
of Americans.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
But that's not all.

Speaker 14 (38:16):
The entire bill will add a whooping three point three
trillion dollars to our nation's thirty five trillion debt. So
much for Republicans being the party of fiscal responsibility. They're
also gutting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an agency that

(38:37):
return twenty one billion dollars to families cheated by megabanks.
They're cutting housing funds during an affordability crisis, and weakening
oversight of Wall Street. Maybe they're forgotten that the people
elected them, not Trump or the billionaire class and miss
speaking members. It'll be a cold day in hell before

(38:59):
we let rep Yeah, but can get away with this?
I yeel back.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Oh what a bunch of lies. What do you mean
the people didn't elect Trump? Yes, we did. But anyway,
here's a Congressman that's gonna set her straight and correct
all the lies that Maxine Waters was saying. So I'm
gonna play this, You're gonna love this.

Speaker 5 (39:25):
It's great.

Speaker 12 (39:27):
I'm proud to yield three minutes the gentleman from New York,
mister Langworthy.

Speaker 5 (39:31):
Gentleman's recognized for three minutes.

Speaker 15 (39:33):
Thank you, mister Speaker, and thank you, Madame Chairwoman. I
rise today in strong support of the rule to consider
HR one, the one Big Beautiful Bill, because the stakes
for the American people could not be higher. We are
rapidly approaching a fiscal cliff. If we do nothing, the
Trump tax cuts, the most pro growth tax reforms and
generations will expire. That means higher taxes on nearly every American.

(39:57):
That means a gutted child tax crit That means small
businesses losing the tools they need to survive and to thrive.
That means less take home pay for working families already
that have been crushed by the Biden air inflation. This
isn't some hypothetical scenario. This is the Democrats game plan.
They want to raise taxes, They want to punish success.

(40:20):
They want more people dependent on government and fewer people
building independent lives. And Republicans will not let that happen.
With HR one, we're stepping to lock in the Trump
tax cuts permanently and to provide targeted new relief to
the workers into the families who keep this country running, seniors,

(40:40):
tipped workers, and those putting in over time to get ahead.
But mister Speaker, this bill also takes a critical step
to protect and to strengthen Medicaid, a vital program for
millions of Americans. And let me be very clear about
something that we're this isn't anything radical. We're restoring the
same common sense work require vironments that President Bill Clinton

(41:01):
signed in the law into the nineties, one of the
most popular things he did. And back then, a Democratic
president worked with a Republican Congress to say that if
you're able bodied, an adult without dependence, and you're receiving
government assistance, you should be expected to work, train, or
volunteer and participate in the economy.

Speaker 5 (41:19):
And ladies and gentlemen, it worked.

Speaker 15 (41:21):
Poverty dropped, employment rose, and millions of Americans moved from
welfare to work and independence. But Democrats today have abandoned
that model. They want permanent government dependency. They'll oppose any
form of accountability, and they'll vilify anyone who dares to
suggest that opportunities should come with responsibility. Well, Republicans are

(41:42):
standing up for what works and what's right, and we're
saying Medicaid must remain a lifeline for the truly vulnerable children, seniors,
the people with disabilities, and low income parents, but for
able bodied adults without kids. Yes, you should try to work,
just like in the nineties, just like under President Bill Clinton.
This isn't extreme, it's not partisan. It's proven policy that

(42:04):
respects both taxpayers and lifts people up. Mister Speaker, this
bill delivers economic relief, fiscal sanity, and basic fairness, and
it secures the future of our economy and our safety net.
Let's choose the path that's been tested and proven to work.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Let's approve this rule.

Speaker 15 (42:21):
Let's pass one big, beautiful bill, and let's get this
country back on track.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
I yell back, mister speaker. Yeah, well said Glading, Correct
Maxine waters On that See, that's what the Democrats are
lying about, saying we're cutting Medicaid. No it's not. There's
a work requirement in there. Democrats are lying when they're
say we're cutting No, it's a work requirement. And you

(42:48):
heard the congressman say that that's something that Bill Clinton
did back in the nineties during his administration. That's exactly right.
So Democrats once again are again something they're against, Republicans
and Donald Trump doing something that they once stood for themselves.

(43:08):
I don't know if they still stand for that, but
they used to do at one time. Because that's true.
Bill Clinton did do that back in the nineties, like
you just heard him say. And what some people might
not believe me, Well, you know what, Let's play this

(43:29):
old piece of audio of Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and
Joe Biden when he was a senator back in the day,
probably back in the nineties, of the three of them
supporting this type of stuff. Here's this audio that resurfaced.

(43:50):
Check this out.

Speaker 9 (43:52):
I have a plan to end welfare as we know it,
to break the cycle of welfare dependency. We'll provide education,
job training, and out care. But then those who are
able must go to work.

Speaker 11 (44:04):
Not just take people off of welfare and put them
on the streets, but put them to work and make
them want to go to work, and make it reasonable
for them to go to work.

Speaker 16 (44:14):
Because of the proud of welfare reform which I supported,
which I think did give people often the incentive, even
the push to look for new ways to consider themselves
and their futures and to move into the job market.

Speaker 9 (44:28):
It's time to make welfare what it should be, a
second chance, not a way of life.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
Amen. So they supported that back in the nineties. Okay, yeah,
so and back then in the day, because you just
heard that was Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden
supporting that. That's what the Democrat Party they used to support.

(44:55):
All the stuff everything that President Trump and the rest
of the republic Can Party that they're standing for, including
cutting waste, fraud and abuse, and securing the border. Democrats
all once stood for that, but ever since Donald Trump
became president, they've gone so far left and they became

(45:19):
radical and they don't support that stuff anymore. And this
is what's causing the Democrat Party to lose power. This
is what's gonna cause a Democrat Party to stay out
of power until they can get their act together. Will
they ever do it, well, we don't know. We have

(45:40):
to wait for them to do it. But since the election,
they're moving more and more far left. It's hard to
tell what they're gonna do anyway. Time for a break
last break in the program. Be back in one minute.
Got some more audio and we'll wrap things up. We'll
do that in one minute when I come back, So
I'll stick around.

Speaker 4 (45:58):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (46:18):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.

Speaker 4 (46:23):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Network, and welcome on back. Final stretch of the program.
Ahead of us, says, We are during the end of
the episode of the first episode in July, so we

(46:51):
are talking about the passage of the big beautiful bill
that was passed signed in the law.

Speaker 5 (47:04):
By the.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
Basically the Republicans, because no Democrat whatsoever voted for it.
The hateful communist domestic terrorists Democrat Party, the organized cult
was all told by the cult leaders, don't anybody support

(47:28):
it at all. So they were unified to no matter what,
no matter what, and they're all unified in lying to
the American people about the contents of the bill, what's
gonna happen and all this stuff. I mean, is the
bill gonna cost some money? Yeah, yeah, it's gonna cost

(47:52):
some money. Might be a little bit at first, but
it's gonna be better over the long run. We just
have to clean up Joe Biden's mess first and then
it'll go down. So as long as we can win
through the midterms, I think the Republican Party will be

(48:13):
all right. Will this bill show all the effects within
the next twelve months so Republicans can win the midterms?
I sure hope. So, I sure hope. So we just
don't want to. We know what happens when the Democrats
take over. So if they win the House and Senate

(48:36):
next year, well, all I got to say about that.
I'm glad Trump got this passed while we had power
over everything, because nothing like this can get passed where
the Democrats have the House and Senate if they ever,
if they win everything in twenty twenty eight, we're doomed.

(48:59):
It's gonna be like a Joe Biden administration all over again,
plain and simple. But I'm thinking the Democrats kind of
screw themselves over for a long time, and the way
they're headed, they're gonna stay out of power as long
as the big beautiful bill works. Okay, that's all. That's

(49:19):
all it depends upon. So okay, so yeah, the Democrats
are lying. So you know, I got this other great
audio clip here. This one is good. This one is
Nancy Pelosi tells lies about the big beautiful bill, and

(49:45):
then following that Steve Scalise jumps in and has to
set her straight and correct her lies. This is really good.

Speaker 5 (49:56):
Check this out.

Speaker 17 (49:58):
I asked to speak because as I hear you members
on the other side talking about spending on the part
of the Democrats spending for education and health care and
all the needs of food for our children, I just
want to remind all of them speaking to you, mister speaker,

(50:18):
that tax cuts are expenditures. They're the biggest spend spending
in this bill, to the tune of five trillion dollars,
five trillion dollars added to the national debt to give
tax cuts to the wealthiest people in the country at
the expense of feeding our children, health care for our people,

(50:40):
and the education of our jaild And nothing brings more
money to the treasury than the education of the American people,
from early child to lifetime learning and every phase of
it in between. So you should be ashamed of yourselves
to mock spending on education. The best dollar we spend
is on educating American people and the investments and the

(51:02):
investments in scientific research, the biblical power to cure that
science provides for us. Cut in this bill to spend
five trillion dollars for the wealthiest people in America.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
Thank you, mister Champs.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Okay, Well, Democrats keep saying that. He keeps saying, oh,
tax cuts for the wealthiest people. Well, his tax cuts
across the board in there for the middle class, mainly
lower class and everything. It's for everybody. But they keep
making it sound like it's just for the wealthiest people. Well,

(51:40):
it's for corporations mainly, keep the corporate tax low to
keep the jobs here. That's beneficial for the economy. But anyway,
Steve Scalise has to set her straight on all this stuff.

Speaker 5 (51:55):
There's gonna be no hiding, mister speaker.

Speaker 18 (51:56):
We all know when this board lights up what the
consequences are. And why do we say there's going to
be a golden era in this country. We're securing our
border in this bill too. We're opening up American energy
in this bill everywhere from the north slope of Alaska
to yes, the Gulf of America, where President Biden had
shut down American energy. He greenlighted Russia's nord Stream pipeline

(52:21):
so Russia could produce their energy, funding billions of dollars
to go fund their war against Ukraine. But in America
we were shut down. We open it up in this bill,
mister speaker, American workers get to produce American energy, not
just for America. It's going to lower the price at
the pump. Again, you're a middle income family. The billionaire

(52:42):
doesn't care what the cost of gasoline is. You know
who does that waitress making thirty two thousand dollars a
year saves that tip money. Maybe she can go on
a trip and get in her car and drive and
afford the gasoline. Now, because we'll be producing more, we
actually have lease sales in this bill for once we
can produce energy in America.

Speaker 5 (53:03):
We have great natural resources.

Speaker 18 (53:05):
We just had them shut down for four years by
an administration that said no to American energy, said yes
to other countries' energy. Iran was able to sell their
oil on world markets thanks to the previous administration. That
party's over, and when America starts producing more energy, not
only does it help lower the price for families here

(53:25):
in America, not only does it create great jobs, great jobs.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
Here in America.

Speaker 18 (53:31):
But all the bad guys around the world, Russia, Iran, Venezuela,
you name your country.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
They're not gonna have.

Speaker 18 (53:38):
A cartel like exclusive license on global energy anymore.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
Yeah, exactly, that's exactly right. We're cleaning up Joe Biden's mess.
The economy's gonna get way better. Democrats, they're still ranting
ood text coach for the billionaires, that's all they keep saying.
They keep saying that. They won't stop saying that. That's

(54:08):
it's like a cult. They're programmed to all say that
tux cuts for the bill, the tax cuts for a
middle class in there too. Why don't they say anything
about that? But they won't. But I've been listening to
Chuck Schumer all day every day. That's all he keeps saying, Ooh,

(54:29):
the same thing. Uh, tux cuts for billionaires, that's all
he keeps saying.

Speaker 19 (54:33):
Annoying Publicans betrayed the American people and covered this chamber
in shame. In one fell swoop, Republicans passed the biggest
tax breaks for billionaires ever seen, paid for by ripping
healthcare away from millions of Americans, taking food out of
the mouth of hungry kids.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
Lie.

Speaker 19 (54:55):
This is not a big beautiful bill at all. That
is that is why I moved on the floor to
strike the title. It is now called the Act, but
it is really a big, ugly betrayal. Today's vote will
haunt our Republican colleagues for years to come. Ah as

(55:16):
the American people see the damage that is done, as
hospitals close, as people are laid off, as costs go up,
as the debt increases, they will see what our colleagues
have done, and they will remember it, and we Democrats
will make sure they remember it. The American people will

(55:36):
not forget the betrayal, the betrayal that took place today.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
I will see about that old Chuck you boy. Oh,
this guy just lies and lies and lies. I mean,
it is true that there was a provision that was
able to get that new stricken from it. The big
Bill is what it's called. They had to take beautiful

(56:04):
out of it. That is true. I mean Chuck Schumer
did have that done. Of course, it doesn't change anything,
does it passed? No matter what saying, Oh, the country's
gonna hate Republicans because it's gonna destroy everything. Well, we'll
see about that. Seriously. Well we'll see about that. So

(56:30):
Senate Minority leader ranted about that, and the House Minority Leader,
Hakeem Jeffries has his own rant about this bill that
got passed. So he has a tantrum on everything too
as well.

Speaker 20 (56:50):
Extraordinary to me, mister speaker, that you got folks in
this town talking about draining the swamp.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
Guess what you are?

Speaker 5 (56:59):
The swamp whenever.

Speaker 20 (57:09):
We've never seen anything like this, the type of corruption
that has been unleashed on the American.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
People and has poison missed the speaker, this.

Speaker 9 (57:23):
Bill.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
You haven't seen nothing like this. Okay, Well, yeah, you
haven't seen success like this. That's why you haven't seen before, hakem.
But oh well, just believe your fantasy, just keep with
your cult lies. And I think Americans are going to

(57:46):
see through the Democrat lies. You're a Chuck Schumer there, say, Oh,
Americans gonna remember the destruction caused by Republicans. Well, well
we'll see that. They're probably gonna remember the corruption and
lies by the Democrats. That's what they're gonna remember. But

(58:11):
oh well, they can lie all they want. Uh, Like
I said, we'll see about that. Okay, Is this bill
gonna is this really gonna succeed or is it gonna
fail this country? Well, we'll have to see about that. Okay,
it got passed, it got signed in the law. Let's

(58:33):
at least over the next year. Let's just see what
it does. Okay, Just you know, anybody listening out there
that is skeptical, anybody who's out there who's believing what
these Democrats are saying. Just you know, all you gotta
say is calm down. Just wait a year, and let's

(58:57):
see what happens. If you find out that, yeah, it
destroyed everything, you know, then vote Republicans out in the midterms.
We'll go back to the Biden era and destroy everything
a lot worse. But if this thing really does clean
up this country and you find out that Democrats are lying,

(59:22):
well then you know which party is a good party
and which party is the bad party. So up next, AOC. Okay,
here's one AOC. She goes on this stupid rant about

(59:43):
the no tax on tips. You would think she'd be
happy about that because she before she was in Congress,
she was a bartender. People like that live on tips.
They do get an hourly wage too, but tips make
up well over fifty percent of their salary. They live

(01:00:04):
off of tips. Now somebody come from that background, you
would think, oh, that's great. You know, no tax on tips.
I mean I used to be pizza delivery guy at
one time. I know what it's like to make tips.
So no tax on tips. AOC should be happy about that,

(01:00:25):
but she's not. Listen to her rant and then all
correct it and then we'll end the show. So all right,
just see listen to AOC with this rant here stupid.

Speaker 21 (01:00:39):
On this point of tax on tips. As one of
the only people in this body who has lived off
of tips, I want to tell you a little bit
about the scam of that tex A little bit of
the fine print there. The cap on that is twenty
five thousand dollars. Well, you're jacking up taxes on people

(01:00:59):
who make less than fifty thousand dollars across the United States.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Jacking up taxes. No, they're not. It's tax got stupid.

Speaker 21 (01:01:11):
While taking away their SNAP, while take taking away their Medicaid,
while taking kicking them off of the ACA and their
healthcare extensions. So, if you're at home and you're living
off tips, you do the math. Is that worth it
to you? Losing all your healthcare, not able to feed
your babies, not being able to put a diaper on

(01:01:31):
their bottom in exchange for what this bill is a
deal with the devil.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
Oh wow, you're one angry little woman, aren't you. Well,
first of all, there's not a tax hike for the
middle class, like she just said that. That is wrong.
Holy crap, that's a major lie. That is a major lie.

(01:02:01):
And saying they're taking away SNAP, taking away Medicaid because
because that was her argument right there, that if you're
living off a tip. So if you're a waiter, waitress,
pizza delivery person or whatever and you make tips, okay,
and they're saying, oh, they're gonna take away your medicaid,
you know, yeah, you'll you'll you won't be able to

(01:02:23):
have to pay taxes on your tips. You'll save some
money there. But oh they're good, but you're gonna lose
more they take away your medicaid. Well, no, because of
the work requirement that they put in there to beyond
SNAP and Medicaid that you have to be working. Well,
you're working if you're a bartender or a waiter and

(01:02:44):
you're making tips. Remember we talked about that during this
whole episode. So so that destroyed everything that AOC just
ranted about there. Say, you made a deal with the
devil whatever, Oh my goodness. So well, I'll end things

(01:03:12):
with this, Okay. Like I said, is the bill gonna
cost some money?

Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
Okay. Is it gonna be as bad as the Democrats
say it is? No, it's not. Okay. They are cutting
a lot of waste, fraud, and abuse, so it's not
gonna be so much. I mean, there's gonna be some
money spent in there for border security to hire more
border agents, ice agents, clean everything up. Yeah, it's gonna

(01:03:40):
cost some money. They're using the savings are cutting from waste, fraud,
and abuse to pay for it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:49):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Is it gonna add a little bit to the debt?
Probably at first, but in the long run, it's gonna
be okay. I do have one opinion. I'm gonna leave
the show with this. I'm gonna say this one thought
that I have one opinion that I'm grateful that President

(01:04:10):
Trump is making these twenty seventeen tax cuts permanent. Okay,
So there are no new tax cuts, it's just the
tax cuts that are that already exists are just gonna
be made permanent because without passing this bill, the tax

(01:04:32):
rate will automatically go up at the end of the
year without us doing anything because we didn't make the
tax cuts permanent. The tax cuts were for everybody, middle class,
lower class, yeah, and even the rich. Okay, but it's
not just the rich. Okay, it's for everybody. Now, since

(01:04:53):
this bill is gonna cost some money, Okay, it's gonna
cost some money. The only thing that I'm with the
Democrats on is one small issue is the tax cuts
should have been just for the middle and lower class.
I think anybody making over a million a year or
two million or something like that, the tax cuts for

(01:05:17):
them probably should not have been extended. Okay, we probably
should have just you know, let that go. I mean,
it's not going to be a major increase. It'll just
be a little bit for them. It's not gonna be
a lot for the upper class. Just so the bill
doesn't cost so much. I think that would have made
a world of difference in my opinion. But that's the

(01:05:39):
only thing I'm gonna say that I'm against the bill on,
and that I'm with the Democrats on just that one
small thing. That that's it. That's it. Otherwise it is
a great bill, a great, big, beautiful bill. I am
so glad that it passed Donald Trump's promises. They're all

(01:06:00):
cap So anybody who voted for him, voted for all this.
You got what you want. Great. Just remember that in
the midterms anyway. That's gonna do for me. I am
out of here for the week. I'll be back next
week with an all new episode. Check me out on
