Speaker 2 (00:50):
Happy Father's Day everyone. Hope everyone had a great Father's
Day this past weekend. We are to the later part
of June. Welcome on back to another episode of The
Brian Wallenberg Show. Boy, Saturday was quite an eventful day.
I haven't seen so much stuff go on in one day,
(01:13):
but yeah, Saturday, June fourteenth, it's everything just seemed to
have gone on. So yeah, well, basically June fourteenth of
twenty twenty five, there's so much stuff going on. We're
gonna get to that here on the program. June fourteenth,
(01:39):
we know is Flag Day holiday in America where we
celebrate the American flag. So June fourteenth is also Donald
Trump's birthday. He turned seventy nine, also June fourteenth, as
(02:02):
on that day two hundred and fifty years ago, seventeen
seventy five, the United States Army was created. So we
have all that going on. Also, we had quite a
newsworthy event in Minnesota, so well we'll get it. Just
(02:27):
happened to fall all on the same day, So we'll
get to that here on this episode. Got so much
stuff to do, so without further ado, let's go ahead
and get right into it. We'll start off by talking
about our great military, hometerary.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Great Americans will do whatever they can to fight for
freedom in our republic.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
They are American patriots at work, all right.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
So in honor of celebrating the military birthday, which is
two hundred and fifty years old, so it's a quarter
of a thousand years. I know, one hundred years, it's
called a century. I'm not sure what it's called for
(03:26):
a thousand years. Boy, you got me stumped. I don't know,
but whatever it is, that's it. So President Trump wanted
to celebrate by having a military parade going on, and
(03:50):
you know through Washington, DC. Now Democrats were appalled by it.
They're polled by anything American and saying, oh, Donald Trump, oh,
you just wanted to celebrate his birthday. Well, no, it's
not a celebration of Donald Trump's birthday, even though it
(04:11):
was his birthday, but that just happened to be the
birthday of the United States military and he wanted to
do that. But Democrats are appalled by anything Donald Trump
wants to do. They all made fun of him, saying, no,
no one's showing up, blah blah blah. Oh, I hope
it gets rained out, and just Democrats are evil people,
(04:35):
and we're gonna get that to that throughout the episode.
Of course, I always talk about that because they just
don't stop. So here is well, got a couple of things.
(04:58):
Well here is actually Vice President JD. Vance speaking at
the military parade event.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
I want to say to all the soldiers all across
our nation's capital and all across.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
The world, happy birthday. Soldiers.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Were proud of you, and I want to say you
represent an unbroken line of greatness, of excellence. And one
of the things the President of the United States has
told his entire administration, for the Vice President on down,
is that we must remember that the young men and
(05:35):
women who put on the uniform and serve this nation
are our.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Most precious resource.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
We must honor them, we.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Must respect them, we must fight for them. And that's
exactly what the Trump administration.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Aims to do every single day. Yeah, So, I mean,
that's you know, and that's the thing with the military.
We should honor them because because of the military is
the reason why we are a free country. If I
have to go back and repeat a history lesson, without
(06:09):
the military, we would be controlled by England right now.
We'd still be a colony controlled by the King of
England right now, because even though the New World was
discovered here, England still controlled it. Even though people left
(06:34):
England control that, their king was like, no, we're controlling you.
The colonists here decided, well, we don't want that, so
we're going to declare ourselves free and we're going to
fight you and take our country back or create our
(06:58):
own country, YadA, YadA. And we still had to fight,
you know, even the War of eighteen twelve. We're still
fighting England to keep our country. So that is the
reason why we are a free country. And now I
(07:22):
got one more audio clip of the of that faithful event.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
Here we go.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
Every other country celebrates their victories. It's about time America
did too. That's what we're doing tonight and watching this
magnificent display.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Our souls are filled.
Speaker 7 (07:47):
With gratitude for every generation of warriors who have worn
the uniform all the way back to the very beginning.
So to every veteran across our land and right here
in our nations capital, including six recipients of the Congressional
Medal of Honor.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
We love you, we honor you, and we.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
Salute your noble service to our flag and to our country.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yes, that is our great president who spoke at and
what a remarkable event that was. Of course, the National
Guard was standing by because the Democrats were threatening to
crash the parade and cause riots. I mean, you know,
(08:36):
that's what the Democrats do best, because utter chaos and
destruction and riot and disrupt anything anything President Trump wants
to do. They want to crash it. Of course that
didn't happen. I mean, now, why would you crash a
military parade. The entire military is there, okay, and the
(08:59):
National Guard on standby. It'd be kind of dumb to
crash it. But they're threatening to do it because that's
what they hate. Anything American they really do just shows
you how evil and rotten that they are. But but
(09:24):
it was a mark or remarkable celebration. We're so grateful
that we do have a strong military, probably strongest on Earth,
at least one of the strongest, if not these are.
But you know what, but I just can't think of
a military that's stronger than us that I can think
(09:48):
about the top of my head. You know, we could
probably take over the world if we wanted to. We
have such a strong military, and the world knows it.
But it is our military that keeps us free. And
that's also why the Star Spangled banner is the national anthem.
(10:14):
You listen to the lyrics, I mean, it's about the flag,
but if you listen to the lyrics, it is about
the military that fight to keep our freedom and even
through the most fiercest fights, the flag still stands in glory.
(10:37):
So that's you know.
Speaker 8 (10:42):
So that.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
So that's what America freedom is all about, and that's
why the Star Spangled banner is our national anthem. So yeah,
these democrats that want to do anything they can to
destroy this country, as we've seen mainly since the election
(11:10):
that Democrats have failed in the last couple of years.
They've just been failing. They're trying to derail Donald Trump,
derail anything American, and it's just just not happening. Way,
that's just it's great that they're failing, but they're not
quite realizing it yet. So anyway, you got to go
(11:32):
to break, first break at the program. When you come back. Oh,
got a lot of great stuff, great stuff that happened
this week. You don't want to miss it. Oh, we'll
have it in one minute when I come back, So
I'll stick around.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.
Speaker 9 (12:15):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Welcome back to the program. As we have Father's Day
in the rear mirror, and we're heading into the latter
part of June. Summer is basically officially here, So happy
summer everyone. Hope everybody is enjoying the great weather. It's
(12:55):
hot in a lot of areas of this country, so
hope everyone is doing well. So continuing on, you know,
it's like I said, June fourteenth of this year was
quite an eventful day. Lots of stuff happened. But also
(13:20):
Minnesota has been in the news a lot lately, basically
since the election, since their governor, Tim Waltz better known
as Tampon Tim, was running for vice president, so lots
of stuff going on with him. So the rest of
(13:41):
the episode is focused on him. In Minnesota, Let's get
right to it.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
People do crazy things, but karma always catches.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Up with them, and as the saying goes, serves you right.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
All right, So you know, growing up in Minnesa, Minnesota
is usually kind of a quiet state. Okay, that's seems
like whenever you have huge national events going on, it
seems like they were not in Minnesota. It's like one
of the most quiet, boring states. But of course Minnesota's
(14:19):
probably one of the most beautiful states. We've got seventeen
thousand lakes, pine forests, great recreation, all that great stuff.
Democrats have been destroying it lately. It's still a swing state,
but it's been under Democratic control where they have a
(14:40):
slim majority and they've had it for far too long.
They're destroying the state, and more so now that the
Democrat Party has gone just so far left basically in
the last ten years. All right, So we have a
new presidential administration, Donald Trump is in control, and they're
(15:07):
really taking it to the Democrats. The Democrats are getting
called out for, you know, they're just utter destruction of
this country. We have Pam Bondi in charge of the
Attorney general. We have Tom Homan as the borders are
(15:29):
a lot of tough people that aren't gonna let Democrats
be their far left self anymore, okay, And they're calling
people out. And right now they're focusing on the governors,
the far left democratic governors that are well impeding ice
(15:51):
and just with this far left agenda. And they all
had to go and testify before Congress, which includes Minnesota
Governor Tim Waltz, where tampon Tim is what I like
to call him. He's basically called tampon Tim because he
got that nickname because he pushed for and supports getting
(16:18):
tampon dispenser's and boys' bathrooms. Because the far left liberal
bandwagon is gender neutral or you could be any gender
you want, just pick your gender, and that's fine them
in their far left agenda. So I enjoyed watching the
(16:42):
confrontations where Senate Oversight Group side of the House Oversight
Committee really took it to Tampon Tim. I just love
watching because they called him out on anything. You know,
we're not dealing with Joe Biden anymore. And let me
(17:03):
tell you, Tampon Tim sounded like a buffoon. You should
be embarrassed to be governor. So we're gonna start out.
See some of the Democrat congressman asked them some questions,
and being Democrats themselves, they gave them softball ones. But
(17:28):
the Republican congressman really took it to him, including Congressman
Tom Emmer who is from Minnesota, call out their own governor.
And I got this really great audio clip. Check this out.
Speaker 8 (17:47):
Allows illegals to have their college tuition paid for by
the state. You signed the Driver's License for All Act
into law in March of twenty twenty three, and that
bill allows illegals to receive driver's licenses. So you claim
you're not a sanctuary state. You just provide free health care,
free college, and driver's licenses to illegal aliens. One reason
(18:10):
you're here testifying before us today is because you refuse
to cooperate with ICE while states like Florida and Virginia
empower their law enforcement to detain and remove criminal illegal aliens.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
You, sir, have done just the opposite.
Speaker 8 (18:23):
Your attorney general is directing law enforcement to ignore ice
immigration detainers. Do you agree with the Attorney general's guidance?
Speaker 10 (18:32):
Well, Congressman, it's good to see you again and thank
you for being here. First, I would say, is my
job as governor of Minnesota is to make Minnesota the
best state?
Speaker 5 (18:39):
And then do you agree with the Attorney General's guidance?
Speaker 11 (18:43):
Congressman.
Speaker 10 (18:43):
What I would say on this is is that Minnesota
follows all law eland.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
It's a very easy question. If you're not.
Speaker 8 (18:50):
If you claim you're not a sanctuary state, you just
I guess you just claim that you support policies. You're
not a sanctuary state, but you support policies to prevent
ice from doing their job.
Speaker 11 (19:02):
Congressman, isn't that right? That is incorrect.
Speaker 10 (19:04):
Congressman, we've all the sudden laws while we're in the
Minnesota House, the laws.
Speaker 8 (19:07):
If you'll allow me, I've got limited time. Well that's
what you tweeted, by the way, sir. On May twenty third,
twenty eighteen, you tweeted, quote, I support policies that keep
law enforcement from enforcing federal laws.
Speaker 5 (19:21):
Close quote.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
On May seventeenth, just this spring, at the University of
Minnesota Law School's commencement ceremony, you said, quote Donald Trump's
modern day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets.
When you said the words modern day Gestapo, you were
referring to ICE agents.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yep, and I covered that here on the show.
Speaker 8 (19:40):
Gestapo, by the way, sir, was the official secret police
of Hitler's Nazi Germany. So you're calling ICE agents modern
day Nazis. Given the attacks on ICE agents that took
place in Los Angeles over the weekend, don't you regard
your dangerous inflammatory rhetoric is a problem.
Speaker 10 (20:00):
Come on, answer the questions you wanman answer first.
Speaker 8 (20:05):
So, sir, it saddens me that you refuse to express
regret from comparing ICE to Nazis. Ice agents are brave
Americans who get up every morning, leave their families, and
put their lives in harms way to protect our country. Sir,
you at the very least an apology to these dedicated
public servants. Yeah, I will say, sir, inflammatory rhetorics such
(20:27):
as yours and the other governors on this panel is
responsible for putting a target on the back of every
ICE agent who is risking their life to protect our communities.
Minnesota is all too familiar, by the way, with the
chaos that ensues when you refuse to work with law
enforcement to enforce the law. In May twenty twenty, looting,
acts of violence, and arson occurred on your watch in
(20:49):
Minneapolis after you refuse to bring in the National Guard.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
YEP, I cover that on the program to you.
Speaker 8 (20:56):
Governor, your agenda is clear, free healthcare, free college, and
driver's licenses for illegals, while handcuffing law enforcement when they're
trying to protect our citizens in their communities. If you
think that's not a sanctuary state, you shouldn't be governor.
By turning Minnesota into a magnet for illegals, you have
opened up our communities to dangerous criminals, including known terrorists,
(21:20):
gang members, murderers, and child predators.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
You have sent a resounding message.
Speaker 8 (21:25):
That if you're a hard working, law abiding citizen of Minnesota,
your safety and well being are not the priorities of
Tim Walls in his administration. But if you're coming to
our state illegally, you're not only welcome with open arms.
You're entitled to free stuff on the taxpayer's dime. This
is absolutely disgraceful. Governor Walls, your sanctuary state agenda has
(21:47):
been defined by your utter failure. You have failed to
enforce the rule of law. You have failed to uphold
our national sovereignty, and most importantly, you have failed the
people of Minnesota. The time for radical sanctuary state policy, sir,
is over.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
The voters made that clear last November.
Speaker 8 (22:06):
When they elected President Trump and Vice President J. D.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Vance. You remember him, don't you, Governor.
Speaker 8 (22:13):
The time for real leaders is that in real leadership
is now.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
That hurts.
Speaker 7 (22:21):
Well.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
The reason why it hurts is because it's true. The
Congressman Tom Emmer really took it to tampon tim there,
called them out because Democrats should have gotten the message
that their reign of terror is over. Like you heard
(22:42):
the congressman say there just a minute ago, that being
a sanctuary state and stuff, all that is over, being
that far left libtard crap that the far left is
still trying to inflict on us. That's over, and this
administration is gonna make sure it's over. You know, if
(23:06):
he continues to impede ice like that, he could end
up in hot water. We've talked about that and it's
gonna be so oh yeah, and got more audio from
that faithful event in front of Congress. Now this one,
(23:31):
this one is really good one. Okay, I'm gonna play this.
He gets called out for saying that he's gonna that
if you build a twenty five foot wall, he's gonna
give the legals thirty foot ladders. He tries to say
(23:52):
he didn't say it, but then I got the CNN
clip of him actually saying that, and he gets busted
with that in front of Congress. Check this out here
it goes.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
How about when you went on Anderson Cooper, Governor Wallson,
you said, how high is this wall? If it's twenty
five feet, then I'll invest in a thirty foot ladder factory.
Do you think that that helps our federal government carry
out it's law enforcement, it's border security and policy operations.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
When when did I say.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
That, Oh, you said that. Here's a clip of you
on CNN saying just that.
Speaker 10 (24:31):
He talks about this wall, I always say, let me
know how high it is. But it's twenty five feet, then
I'll invest in the thirty foot ladder factory.
Speaker 6 (24:38):
You went on Anderson Cooper and said that you not
remember saying that because you've said so many outlandish things
that you can't even keep track of them.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
The point be, yeah, that's true. He said so much
crap you can't remember him. Or he just says answer
that Democrats try to pull that stunt too many times.
Do you will say that prove it? Well, we did.
(25:07):
We just proved it. What else do we gotta say
to prove it? Okay? And then he was called out
to on the violence in Minnesota because we had protests
(25:27):
in Minnesota back in twenty twenty where Democrats let their
cities and states burn for days on end before they
would call in the National Guard. And they did that
on purpose because of that. Okay, we're just gonna blame
it on Trump, so we'll let these precious BLM people
(25:49):
burn the place. So here's Tim Waltz right at that
same interview where he asked, we had to admit that
twenty twenty protesters weren't all that peaceful.
Speaker 12 (26:05):
I want to take you back to twenty twenty. You
were the governor Minnesota. There were summer protests. You refer
to them as peaceful demonstrations In hindsight, would you still
still stand by that were they mostly peaceful?
Speaker 5 (26:17):
Congressman?
Speaker 10 (26:17):
After the murder of George Floyd on the streets thousands
got it in the streets where they're those.
Speaker 12 (26:22):
They are they mostly peaceful protests?
Speaker 10 (26:24):
The vast majority certainly they that weren't.
Speaker 12 (26:26):
So why would you have to call it the National
Guard for mostly peaceful protests?
Speaker 11 (26:30):
They weren't all peaceful protests?
Speaker 12 (26:31):
Okay, so they weren't all right mostly so, Governor, Uh.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Oh, they weren't all peaceful. Well, no kidding really, and yeah,
they just it's just all it's just all kinds of
strange things that Tim Waaltz get got busted on. He
(26:57):
got busted on so many things. I've got so much
of audio here that he sees sounded like a mumbling
buffoon a lot of the time too. The clips I
played were actually a little bit more softball for him.
(27:21):
This is where things get a little weird. He does
kind of mumble and sound like a mumbling buffoon part
of the time. So here is when, uh so you
think it was? Who was I was asking him about?
Did Kamala Harris? How good is she with the with
(27:48):
being the borders are under Joe Biden. Tim Waltz couldn't
even answer that. This is how stupid Tim Waltz sound
check this out.
Speaker 13 (27:56):
How do you rate Kamala Harris's job as borders are?
Speaker 14 (27:59):
I want a number between.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Actually, I'm sorry it was Congresswoman Nancy Mace that asked
him this question.
Speaker 13 (28:07):
How do you rate Kamala Harris's job as borders are?
Speaker 14 (28:10):
I want a number between one and ten? How is
she as borders are?
Speaker 11 (28:14):
I wouldn't have a way to measure that.
Speaker 14 (28:15):
I was not in the weren't you her running mate
for vice president?
Speaker 1 (28:20):
As in the campaign?
Speaker 13 (28:21):
And you can't rate her role as borders are on
a scale of one to ten?
Speaker 14 (28:25):
Was she great at ten? Or was she a one? Terrible?
Speaker 10 (28:28):
I think her proposal that she put forward to make
sure we had the bipartisan immigration it wasn't bipartisan.
Speaker 5 (28:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
That was her running mate running mate? Do you have
to know everything about the person that's actually running because
you're gonna get asked that during the campaign he knew
that she was bad. He just didn't want to answer that. Yeah,
sounded really stupid. Oh, but Nancy Mace continues on with
(29:05):
Tim yeah, and Tim does continue to sound like a
mumbling buffoon when she and she really takes it to
them though. Check this out.
Speaker 14 (29:18):
Are you still friends with school shooters? I have never
been a friend with a school Didince you.
Speaker 13 (29:23):
Say you were friends with school shooters on the debate stage?
Speaker 6 (29:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (29:27):
Is bullying? Is bullying?
Speaker 3 (29:29):
Is?
Speaker 14 (29:30):
My mom was a teacher. I'm a high school dropout.
We can talk about that later. Is bullying okay?
Speaker 11 (29:36):
Is bullying okay? That's teacher?
Speaker 14 (29:39):
Is bullying? Okay? Yes? Or no? Is it okay to
bully somebody?
Speaker 5 (29:44):
To push back at a bully?
Speaker 8 (29:45):
So?
Speaker 11 (29:45):
Yes, I do think there's a So.
Speaker 14 (29:46):
You think it's okay to bully others.
Speaker 11 (29:48):
I think it's okay to bully the bully.
Speaker 14 (29:49):
At you're showing that the Democrat Party is a party
of violence. Were you at Teman Square?
Speaker 11 (29:56):
Have I been to Tenem's Square?
Speaker 15 (29:57):
I have?
Speaker 14 (29:58):
Were you at tanem And Square? I have been at
t When were you there?
Speaker 2 (30:04):
As I recall up.
Speaker 11 (30:06):
January of nineteen ninety?
Speaker 14 (30:10):
Okay, what is a woman? What is a woman? Is
a question?
Speaker 11 (30:19):
I'm not sure I understand the question here?
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Oh God, that what do you?
Speaker 10 (30:23):
What do you want me to say?
Speaker 13 (30:25):
This is I want you to say that a woman
like me is an adult human female, that men can't
become women. You guys are the party of violence, and
you're the party erasing women.
Speaker 14 (30:36):
You don't respect us.
Speaker 13 (30:38):
You're a bigot, you're a misogynist, you're a sexist.
Speaker 14 (30:41):
Mister Chairman iieled back.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
WHOA wow. She really took it to him because he
sounded like a mumbling idiot. You can answer that, what
is a woman? I don't know what I want me
to say. Well, that's because Tim Walltz thought it was
probably a trick question. He wanted to say, Well, a
(31:04):
woman is somebody who just wants to be a woman,
doesn't matter what you were born, you know, because Democrats
are so into this gender neutral stuff. Oh right, okay,
that's enough. With tampon Tim being pushed by Congress this
(31:28):
past week. Time for a break, second, bring of the program.
When you come back, we'll talk about events that happened
in his state on June fourteenth, really bad. We'll do
that one minute when I come back to stick around.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.
Speaker 9 (32:07):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
Network, and welcome on back. So grateful for everyone who's
listening from wherever you're listening from across America and throughout
the world, whether you're in Minnesota or wherever. So grateful
(32:35):
that everybody is here as we are past Father's Day,
summer has begun, and we are nearing the end of June.
So grateful that you're here getting the real scoop, the
whole scoop, and nothing but the scoop, because that's all right,
(33:00):
that's what I do best. So I'm bringing it to
you as we are talking about Minnesota. That's been in
national newsworthy a lot lately since the election, since well
since George Floyd was killed, and also since Tampon Tim
(33:23):
became Coma's running mate, and also continues with the events
on June fourteenth. So let's continue on and talk about.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
That there's a civil war brewing in America between Democrats
and Americans.
Speaker 9 (33:44):
Find out the latest in Civil War two.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Okay, So June fourteenth not only was Flag Day, not
only was Donald Trump's birthday and the anniversary of the
founding of the United States Military. Also, we had events
happening in Minnesota on the early morning hours of Saturday,
(34:08):
June fourteenth, where two Democrat Minnesota state lawmakers were shot
in their home by a crazy lunatic. There's a lot
of stuff we do know. There's also a lot of
stuff that we don't know. There's a lot of speculations.
(34:31):
So I'm going to try to get through that with
the remainder of the program. So, okay, So we talked
about before the break tampon Tim there, Governor Tim Wallas,
who was called out on being in the Democrat Party,
(34:54):
which is the party of violence, the party of hate,
the party of far left values, gender neutral and all
this insane stuff. Yeah, okay, we get that. I cover
that a lot on the program, and that's basically all
(35:17):
our majority of what I do. Okay, But okay, it's
kind of hard to explain with these shootings that happen
in Minnesota because we there's a lot of stuff that
we do not know a lot of It's a developing story,
(35:38):
so it's gonna continue on. So in the wee early morning, okay,
So let me tell you what we do know so far. Okay,
in the wee early morning hours on Saturday, June fourteenth,
a crazy lunatic but the name of Vance Bolter went
(36:00):
on a killing spree. He went to a home in Champlain, Minnesota,
which is the home of Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman.
It was a Democrat shot him and his wife several times.
(36:25):
The daughter of them, you know, jumped on them to
protect them, and the suspect left. Fortunately, senator and his
wife survived. They were taken to the hospital in extremely
critical condition and they are expected to survive, and they are.
(36:51):
The suspect then went to a home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
So it's in Brooklyn Park where former Minnesota Speaker Melissa
Hortman lived, and they shot her and her husband, and
(37:13):
unfortunately those two have perished. But there was a huge
time lapse, like an hour and a half or something
between the two even though it's like a ten minute
drive from Champlain to Brooklyn Partner, they border each other
those two suburbs of Minneapolis, and between the homes it's
(37:36):
like ten minutes. And I know that because I used
to deliver pizzas in that area long time ago, back
in the day. So what happened was the police were
called by the daughter of Senator Hoffman, you know, which
(37:57):
was the first shooting. And then when the word got
out in neighboring Brooklyn Park, police decide, oh so well,
since it was a lawmaker, go check on their lawmaker
in the state legislator, which was Melissa Hortman. So the
police arrived and they actually catched this guy in the
(38:19):
act shooting, uh former Speaker Hortman and her husband, and
this guy, Vance Bolter was able to escape them. Fifty
seven year old guy, a little out of shape. I
don't know how he was able to do it, but
he did. He ran out the back door after an
(38:42):
exchange of gunfire with their police force, and you know,
got away. The suspect's vehicle was still there. And here's
the thing, this guy worked in. I think he owned
a security company. That's why he was able to get
a vehicle that looks like a police cruiser with flashing
(39:05):
lights and everything, a police uniform and all that stuff.
So that was, you know, that's what happened. Okay, So
that's what we know. Okay, So you would think that, okay,
this guy is a die hard Republican that is far right,
(39:27):
a far right lunatic that is assassinating all these Democrats,
which is still most likely the case. But there's a
few odd things that happened with this. This guy had
a stack of no Kings flyers in his vehicle. That
is something a Republican will not have. That is something
(39:51):
that only a Democrat would have. The other thing that
is odd. It's probably nothing, it could just be a coincidence.
But the two lawmakers that he shot happened to be
two lawmakers that voted the day earlier in a special
(40:14):
session to pass the budget. They voted with Republicans to
pass a budget that is Republican friendly, something that's heavily
opposed by the Democrats. So they defected basically the Democratic
Party to get this passed. And the Minnesota legislature, see,
(40:39):
the Democrats lost a lot of their lead in this
past election. They hold the Minnesota State Senate by one
seat and it's a dead even split in the House
fifty to fifty Republican and Democrats. So but a day
(40:59):
later them to get shot. And this guy, Vance Bolter,
has served on a board, a board of directors of
some sort of a workforce board. I think it's a
volunteer position. But he was appointed by by Governor Waltz
a few years ago to serve on that and previously
(41:21):
by Tim Walls predecessor Democrat Governor Mark Dayton. And Vance
Bolter's wife worked as an intern for Tim Walls, so
he has some ties with tampon Timmy. So you know,
(41:47):
it's hard to speculate, and I don't want to sit
here and be guilty of spreading misinformation. So there are
two possibilities of what happened. Okay. One possibility is which
is still one hundred percent possible, if this could be happened,
(42:09):
it could be a far right Republican crazy that is
going to go around and trying to assassinate many Democrats
as he can because he hates Democrats, you know, and
they supposedly there's a list of other targets that this
(42:30):
guy was going to get, like dozens and dozens of
other Democrats that are pro abortion. That's what officials are
telling us. So it is possible that that's the case.
And if that's the case, yeah, I mean, I am
just gonna say that. You know, obviously this guy worked alone.
(42:51):
I mean, he doesn't he doesn't represent the Republican parties,
just one crazy psycho that Winton did a crazy thing
because Republicans are the party of law and order, right
when something like this happens, it's just one crazy cycle
that went out and did this. But the rumors online
(43:15):
is that there's some things that that don't add up,
Like you said, why does he have no kingsflyers? Why
did he The only two that did get assassinated were
two Democrats that sided with Republicans the past legislation that
everybody hates, well anybody that's a Democrat hates, including Governor
(43:37):
Tim Waltz, and then they get shot the next day
and some guy that supposedly had ties to Governor Tim Walls.
And then it's also question is how can a fifty
seven year old, out of shape man outrun a police
swat team. So there's just so many irregularities and then questions.
(44:05):
I mean, they probably have legitimate reasonings behind it. So
this guy was eventually caught. His defense to this has
not been public yet. He might not have until he
gets an attorney, and then we have to find out
what's going on. So we don't know what's going on yet.
(44:32):
So there's two extreme possibilities that, yeah, it could be
you know, he could be a Democrat that went and
assassinated his own Democratic defectors, and then things could have
been set up to make it look like it's a
Republican that did this. So which is a possibility. I'm
(44:53):
not gonna sit here and say that that's the reason
and that's exactly what happened, because we don't know that yet,
so just saying that that is one of the possibilities.
So anyway, we have more on this coming up in
one minute when I come back. We gotta take a break,
last break of the program. There is more to go
(45:16):
on the story, and we'll do that in one minute
when I come back. Stick around.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Politics, News and current events. We do that better than anyone.
Great news stories, great insights.
Speaker 9 (45:56):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
And welcome on back. Final stretch of the program ahead
of us, as we are talking about one of the
most eventful days that we've had in America in quite
some time on June fourteenth, twenty twenty five, very eventful day.
(46:31):
Lots of stuff happened. So as a recap, Yeah, we
had military parade anniversary of the military birthday, Donald Trump's
birthday flag Day. Democratic governors being called out by Congresses
(46:54):
past week for being anti ice far left radical agenda
that they keep doing, knowing full well that the Trump
administration will put an end to that. There could be
charges brought up on Tampon Tim if he keeps this up,
(47:17):
you know, the evading Ice. And if we end up
finding out that he had any involvement in the murders
that happened on June fourteenth in Minnesota of Democratic lawmakers,
if we find that out, which is probably a long shot,
(47:38):
then obviously there could be charges brought up with that too.
I don't want to go around saying that Tim Waltz
Tampon Tim is involved, but it's a possible And until
we find out exactly what has been going on and
get some answers and piece everything together, then we'll But
(48:00):
like I said, it could all be on the up
and up. There could be a reasonable explanation for this.
The guy could still be a the killer could still
be a far right Republican that just wanted to go
on a Democratic assassination spree, you know, no set up
(48:23):
by Democrats. I mean it looks like it could be
a setup and then a cover up, but we don't
know that yet, so I'm not going to go ahead
and accuse anybody of anything till we know. So with that,
(48:43):
I do have some audio clips. So as the special
legislative session ended in Minnesota. It was a one day
special session because they didn't get a lot of stuff
done during their main session because as if you remember,
and I covered this on the show, with the power
(49:04):
sharing struggle that they had because the House, the Minnesota
House was evenly split exactly sixty seven Republican sixty seven Democrats.
Democrats had their whiny boycott, so it got delayed three weeks,
so they had to have a special session. It was
a one day session where they had bills that they
(49:25):
had to take up, including passing a budget. So the
former speaker of the Minnesota State House of Representatives, Melissa Hortman,
who was shot on Saturday, was on the news late
in the day the night before she got killed, and
(49:53):
she's getting a lot of heat backlass for siding with
Minnesota Republicans to pass this GOP legislation.
Speaker 11 (50:10):
I know that people will be hurt by that vote,
and I'm we.
Speaker 14 (50:17):
Worked very hard to try to get a budget deal
that wouldn't include that provision.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
DFL Speaker of Maritimle, Yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (50:27):
Got that on there. But yeah, I mean, she wasn't happy,
but she had to vote with the Republicans. So that
interview was like hours before she was killed because I
was late in the night, and then overnight is when
that murder ended up happening. So what happened, we don't
(50:57):
know still, like I said, So that's that. And also
we have well Tim Waaltz, who ended up giving his
thoughts after she was murdered.
Speaker 11 (51:16):
We're here today because an unspeakable tragedy has unfolded in Minnesota.
My good friend and colleague, Speaker Melissa Hortman and her
husband Mark were shot and killed early this morning in
what appears to be a politically motivated assassination. Our state
lost a great leader, and I lost a dearest of friends.
Speaker Hortman was someone who served the people of Minnesota
(51:37):
with grace, compassion, humor, and a sense of service. She
was a formidable public servant, a fixture, and a giant
in Minnesota. She woke up every day determined to make
this state a better place. She is irreplaceable and we've
been missed by so many. Minnesota's thoughts and prayers are
(52:01):
with her family, her loved ones, her children, and her parents.
Speaker 2 (52:06):
Yeah, I mean, no doubt that she was a great,
honorable person. I mean, you know, she's a Democrat, but
it tells me that she's one of the ones that's
willing to reach across the aisle and work with Republicans
to get things passed. You know, she's probably a moderate Republican.
(52:27):
I'm sorry, she's a moderate Democrat. You know, she had
to work to pass a budget deal. She was able
to agree on things with Republicans, so that and you know,
(52:53):
you know, I mean it's no doubt that that was
a politically motivated assassination that happened on that day in Minnesota.
I mean, it's no doubt. But people have to watch
the rhetoric that's that. It's on both sides. Really, there's
(53:20):
rhetoric on both sides, but it you know, but in
all fairness, I mean it's mostly the Democrats because if
you remember, I've played this stuff in recent weeks where
(53:41):
Democrat Governor Tim Woltz says we should be more meaner
towards Republicans. I play that a lot.
Speaker 10 (53:48):
Maybe it's time for us to be a little more fierce.
Speaker 14 (53:53):
Because we have to ferociously.
Speaker 5 (53:57):
Push back on this.
Speaker 10 (53:58):
And again, I'll speak to my teacher, your colleagues in here.
The thing that bothers a teacher more than anything is
to watch a bully, to watch this bully and to
stop it. And when it's a child, you talk to
him and you tell him why bullying is wrong. But
when it's adult, like Donald Trump, you bully the got
of him back.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
Ooh yeah. So it's also the guy that says, oh,
got to be more meanor me more meaner. So he
urges Democrats to be more meaner. So he does that,
you know, so anybody that's not far left Democrat urges
him to be more meaner. Then, when you have political
(54:38):
violence of any kind, what do you expect to have?
You know whose fault is it? It should be the
people that use rhetoric like that. You know, Chuck Schumer,
you know, uses that rhetoric. He's the king of that
kind of rhetoric. He says stuff like that, and then
(55:02):
you know it was his rhetoric that sparked an assassination
attempt of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. And it's rhetoric
like that from the Democrats that sparked two assassination attempts
on Donald Trump. But speaking with the topic at hand,
(55:28):
right with the murders in Minnesota. So okay, I like
I said, there's two possibilities.
Speaker 8 (55:38):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (55:39):
One is, yeah, this guy is a far left of
such that far right Republican crazy who went on a
Democratic killing spree. That's the one possibility. The other possibility
is it could be Democrats killing their own defect because
(56:01):
they look at people like that, you know, moderate Democrats.
Is Democrats that ruined their far left wing party and
they wanted to take them out. That's the other possibility. Right,
Both of them are possibilities. Which one is it? We
don't know yet. So the rumors fly and the rhetoric
(56:22):
on both sides of the aisle come out right, you know,
political pundits are like me. They're they're coming out and
they're saying that, hey, there's a lot of stuff that
doesn't add up on it. This guy was pointed to
work on an advisory board for Tim Walls. The two
(56:47):
Democrats that were killed were ones that the Democrats hate.
Two of their own party, you know. So some things
are just not adding up. This guy had no kings
flyers in his vehicle, you know, right, So those rumors
are coming out as well, okay, from well, from both sides,
(57:12):
and it's wrong. So Republican Senator Mike Lee posts tweets
on social media, you know, blaming the you know, Democrats
and oh Democrats did this. It's a setup and all
that stuff, which you know, mind you is a possibility,
(57:37):
but it's probably something he shouldn't say being a sitting
senator until we know more. The public can say something,
even political pundits can say something, but a sitting US
senator shouldn't be saying that. All right, So he took
the posts down, realizing, oh crap, what did I do?
(57:59):
So he took him down. But here is yeah, I
got a couple audio clips. Here is Chuck Schumer going
off about that. Now, this guy is the king of
violent rhetoric. Even though he does all this stuff himself,
he has the audacity to issue this statement on Republican
(58:24):
Senator Mike Lee.
Speaker 15 (58:27):
I wish I didn't have to say this, but one Senator,
Mike Lee, the senior senator from Utah, did something that
was despicable this weekend, shortly after the horrible deaths of
these beautiful people, he used conspiracy theories and tried to
politicize what happened and blame the other side. For a
senator fan, the flames of division in such a searing
(58:50):
and awful time is beneath the job of senator. It's
beneath human dignity. Lee should take down those posts immediately
and apologize to the family.
Speaker 2 (59:01):
Okay, you know that's probably fair to say. Okay, but
the thing that gets me on that is this guy,
Chuck Schumer is the king of violent rhetoric, all right.
(59:23):
He has conspiracy theories, he's bad mouthing Donald Trump, lying
about his agenda, and do everything so bad? All right.
He goes on and says that about Mike Lee, which
in a way might be fair. But here's the thing
that really gets sick. He trashes him for giving his
(59:48):
opinion on who caused the murders and who's that fault.
But Chuck Schumer immediately turns around and has audacity to
blame Trump for the murders. Now did you heard there
from Senator Schumer where he says, how dare Mike Lee
(01:00:10):
blame the other side, blame Democrats. Well, Chuck Schumer blames Republicans,
including Donald Trump, for those murders.
Speaker 15 (01:00:20):
But let me be clear, this dangerous environment isn't spontaneous.
It's being stoked, often deliberately, by the reckless rhetoric coming
from some of the most powerful voices in the country.
When political opponents are treated like enemies, danger follows, and
that's what Donald Trump has done. It's the responsibility of
(01:00:43):
all leaders, especially the President of the United States, to
not just unequivocally condemn hatred, but to stop violent and
aggressive language against political opponents.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Okay, well, so wait a minute. Chuck Schumer rips Mike
Lee for using inappropriate rhetoric, but this guy uses it
all the time. Do you see the irony here? What
about two wrongs don't make a right? Okay, what about that?
(01:01:26):
Do you see the irony here? He rips on. Mike
Lee says, oh, you should take the post down and apologize.
How dare you use rhetoric and blame Democrats for this?
And but you turn around and do the same thing
but probably worse. See this is what I get at
(01:01:53):
when I talk like this about the Democrat Party. I
mean it's okay for them to do something. Of them,
when Republicans do something, oh it's bad. Well, just like violence.
I mean, Republicans did one thing. I mean January sixth.
(01:02:15):
You know, they shouldn't have gone to the capitol. You
shouldn't have had thousands of people rushed the capital to protest,
you know, because you know, some police officers got hurt
that day. Was unintentional, but it happened because they rushed
the capital. Okay, that was one incident, and that was
(01:02:35):
over four years ago. Democrats are constantly violent. They're always
calling for violence, riots everywhere. They're calling riots for what,
riots everywhere. They provoke them and they cheer them on.
(01:02:57):
They're blatantly calling for members of their own Democrat party
to be more meaner towards Republicans. They're blatantly called I
played that audio on the program a lot. So it's
okay for them to be violent, but not okay for
(01:03:17):
a Republican to do something. Okay, that's just how they are.
It's okay for them to use violent, divisive rhetoric to
divide this country and the stirrup hate. But a Republican
can't say anything just once what Senator Mike Lee did
(01:03:43):
was wrong, but Chuck Schumer needs to set the example
if he's going to complain about it. That is just odd,
my goodness. And Democrats would they think that we're stupid?
I guess they do. They just think that we can't
(01:04:06):
see with our own eyes what happened. Just like when
uh Senator Alex Padia from California when he barged into
Christy Nomes press conference, rush the stage totally out of line,
knowing that that's wrong what he did, interrupt, barge in
(01:04:28):
a try to tack the stage, then get tackled down
and handcuffed, you know, which was justified. But then tries
to tell America, Oh, watch the video you see I
was peaceful. Nah, we watched the video. You were anything
(01:04:49):
but peaceful. What do you think they were stupid? See,
Democrats think that we're stupid. We're supposed to just believe
whatever they tell us. But that's not the case. This
is why they lose. This is why they're losing. Yeah, well,
elections all over and they're going to continue to lose
(01:05:11):
if this keeps up anyway, that's gonna do it for me.
