they can to try to throw a monkey wrench into
Donald Trump's presidency. They're gonna do whatever they can to. Yeah,
(02:33):
just you know, they won't let them have any breathing room.
They're just gonna be every time Trump does something, Trump
mossed up. That's what's gonna happen all the time. It's

mister Vice President.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
All right, So now we got the new administration all
squared away, Donald Trump and JD. Vance in office, and
they're already starting to clean house. Okay, it's just there's
a huge mess to clean up. You know, they've gotten
(06:57):
to work very quickly. They're not wasting any time, and
we're gonna talk about that here on this episode. That
they're not wasting. They're getting right to work, getting everything going,
basically hitting the ground running. They're gonna get the already
(07:18):
started work on getting the border under control. They're doing
what they can to start to get inflation under control
and energy independent, strengthening national security. It's all going full
force at once. So basically on his first day, he
(07:44):
signed a ton of executive orders, and I got a
little bit of an audio clip of him doing just
just a good handful of them right here.
Speaker 11 (07:58):
The recision of seven, the eight Biden era executive actions,
executive orders, presidential memoranda, and others.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
All right, yeah, thanks sir, Like.
Speaker 9 (08:18):
To say that kind of Donald Trump.
Speaker 12 (08:19):
There, President Trump now trying iff I could, to undo
as much as he can.
Speaker 11 (08:25):
Regulatory says you announced in the speech, preventing bureaucrats from
issuing any more regulations until we have full control of
this the government is disadministration, thanks sir. The next, this item, sir,
(09:00):
is a freeze on all federal hiring, accepting the military
and a number of other excluded categories, again until full
control of the government has achieved and we understand the
objectives of government going forwards.
Speaker 13 (09:23):
Could you imagine Biden doing this? I don't think so.
Speaker 7 (09:29):
I don't think so, sir.
Speaker 11 (09:33):
The next item, as you announced in your speech, is
a requirement that federal workers return to full time in
person work immediately.
Speaker 7 (09:45):
Oh yeah, thank you, sir.
Speaker 11 (10:03):
Next, we have a directive to every department and agency
in the federal government to address the cost of living
crisis that has cost Americans so dearly.
Speaker 7 (10:31):
Thank you, sir.
Speaker 11 (10:32):
The next item here is the withdrawal from the Paris
Climate Treaty.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
Exciting to say about.
Speaker 14 (10:45):
The Yes, sir, jinion, they're going to say about we're
going to.
Speaker 11 (11:01):
Save over a trillion dollars by withdrawing from that treaty.
And the next item there is a letter that will
be transmitted to the United Nations explaining that we are
withdrawing from the Paris Climate Treaty.
Speaker 9 (11:37):
Thank you, sir.
Speaker 11 (11:39):
This next item is a directive to the federal government
ordering the restoration of freedom of speech and preventing government
censorship of free.
Speaker 7 (11:47):
Speech going forward.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
That's a good one too.
Speaker 11 (12:03):
And lastly, sir, before we go back to the Oval
Office to sign a large number of other items, is
a directive to the federal government ending the weaponization of
government against the political adversaries of the previous administration.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
As we've seen, that's a lot of huge wins wins
there that that President Trump is is doing right now.
(12:38):
I mean, you heard that ABC News anchor at the
beginning of this clip saying, well, President Trump is going
to try to undus much of the Biden era that
he can. Well, yeah, well that's a good thing. Everything
from the Biden administration is horrible. You should start getting
(12:58):
all this stuff cleaned up. H Donald Trump knows he
has a big messtic clean up. He doesn't want to
take four years to do it and how quickly you
can get everything done, but he wants to try to
get it done as soon as he can. Just hit
the ground running. We need a curve inflation. We want
to start doing it like quickly. Americans are suffering high
(13:24):
gas prices, high grocery prices, low incomes. Yeah, we can't
suffer very long. They're already deporting illegal immigrants. Ice is
rounded up like hundreds, if not thousands of them so far,
and most of them have rap seat sheets, you know, robbery, assault,
(13:50):
all kinds of stuff, you know, the uh, the illegal
immigrants that the Democrats love so much because they gotta
have them for votes. They don't care if they're committing
crimes and you just gotta have votes. But they're all
going back. Democrats are flipping out right now. They can't
(14:15):
stand to see Republicans undo everything that Joe Biden messed up.
The whole party is going downhill. It so much is
so anyway, we gotta have to take a break. It's
gonna be our first break of the program. We'll be
back in one minute. Lots more to go. Yeah, we're
(14:35):
just getting started. Brand new administrations so great, we'll have
more than one minute. I come back. Stick around.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Network, and welcome on back. As the Trump administration is
well underway here in America cleaning up the disaster the
(15:41):
Democrats have left for us the last four years, as
we have to clean up the huge mess that Joe
Biden made and Donald Trump is already kicking butt getting
everything done. So welcome on back everyone to this exciting
(16:01):
edition of the Brian Wahllenberg Show. As I get the report.
Good stuff now.
Speaker 15 (16:08):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
For the past few years or so, I've been all
I've been doing is coming on to the show saying,
oh my gosh, Joe messed this up. Oh the Democrats
are doing this. Oh, it's so horrible. They're screwing everything
up that Uh well, now it's about to change. I
(16:29):
should say it is already starting to change, because now
I get the report on all the great stuff that
is going on because Republicans are totally in control. Of course,
Democrats will do some things that I will report on
because they'll be trying to derail President Trump. They're already
(16:52):
causing havoc in Minnesota, and I'm gonna get to that
later on in the program. So, but as we continue on,
because we're still talking about Trump, I mean, he is.
This has been such a refreshing change to have the
red Wave take effect on November fifth. It just felt
(17:15):
so great just to have Republican wins across the board,
even across the country in state and local elections, Republicans
had some really great wins. Also, like I said, we're
talking about Minnesota later on here in the program. So
as we continue on, Oh, yeah, Sean Hannity, great old
(17:43):
Sean Hannity says that, Yeah, it's the same thing I am.
The same thing that I'm saying is that Trump is
this is probably the greatest comeback in American history.
Speaker 16 (17:58):
I just think It was one of the greatest political
comebacks in history when you look at everything that they
have thrown at this man, you know, since the moment
he came down the escalator and how they wanted to
attack him, and he's been able to overcome that, and
that means overcoming the legacy media, the American people. What's
so fascinating is, and I keep saying, legacy media died.
(18:20):
They heard it, they ignored it, They watched the law fair,
they ignored it. And he stayed in the game and
he fought hard. He worked harder than Kamala Harris and
Joe Biden, and he delivered a message that resonated with
the American people, and he won by landslide. And I
think he is He's one of these guys that thinks
(18:40):
out of the box. He's not your average politician. And
you know, I'm very hopeful that big things will happen.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, and big things will happen there, Sean, You're exactly right.
They're already happening, and it's going to be a great
four years. You know, he said the Democrats are going
to counter everything and say, oh yeah, Donald Trump's messing up.
I can already see my Democratic counterpart saying stuff now.
(19:11):
I mean, I'm talking about Mike Morin, who is a
Democratic show host. I can see him right now on
the show. So every time Donald Trump does something saying,
oh my gosh, it's getting really bad. Oh Donald Trump.
Oh he's messing up all this stuff. Oh he's a
treason as president, I could see all that. But oh well, whatever,
(19:37):
we know that that's not true. We know it. It's
just simply not true. Most people in America are happy
about this change. I mean, the Democrats aren't, but a
(19:58):
majority of Americans are talking about Republicans and the swing voters,
and they're all, for the most part, saying great things
about having Trump back in office.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
My message Trump is thank you for running again one
last time and bringing all these amazing people by your side.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Jd Vance, Rfk and Elon Musk.
Speaker 17 (20:20):
These are great people for a great country, and we're
looking at a great future.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
I can't wait for the next four years.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
We need him and clean up this mess.
Speaker 18 (20:27):
I wish him well, I wish him all the success.
Speaker 9 (20:31):
That's what's going to bring this country back.
Speaker 19 (20:33):
Success just through what you promise like you did last time,
and we'll be okay.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
And go Crypto, stay strong.
Speaker 20 (20:39):
We're going to help protect you and we wish you
all the best success and we are championing every single
policy that you have put forward, and we know.
Speaker 9 (20:48):
That you're for us.
Speaker 18 (20:50):
I just want you to bring the country back from
the broken shambles it's in now.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Yeah, exactly, that's exactly right. And they're saying, yeah, just
keep all your promises like you did last time. Well,
with that, we're gonna have a great four years. I
just hope if there's any Supreme Court justices that are
going to retire, I just hope they do it very soon,
(21:20):
because we don't want Democrats taking over the Senate in
the midterms and being able to throw a monkey wrench
into the prop into Trump's agenda. I mean, we want
conservative justices on the US Supreme Court, so we want
Trump to make the appointments, you know. So yeah, I
(21:45):
just hope if anything happened, and I just hope in
the midterms it's still we keep the red wave going, right,
we just need to do it. That'll send a message
to the Democrats because they're not taking their loss and
learning from it. I mean, they're running a monk right now.
I mean they are. They're livid, they're freaking out, and
(22:09):
they're still acting stupid. Okay, Chuck Schumor is running his
mouth at Trump and just saying, oh, Trump messed up. Boy,
he's a bad president. I can't believe all the you know,
but that's all chucky boy. But so keep the red
(22:29):
wave going. That's what we need to do until the
Democrats can straighten out. And the way it's going, I
don't think they're doing that. They're actually working against it,
and the country is going to basically take notes. And
(22:53):
you know, the midterms can work out in favor of Republicans.
You know, it usually works out if we have a
Republican president, the Democrats will take control of both houses
of the Senate in the midterms, but it doesn't always
(23:13):
work out that way. We had a Democrat president last
four years, and we had Democrats in control of the Senate,
so things can change. But everybody, I think is getting
sick and tired of the Democrats. I just can't wait
till the next segment because I am going to talk
about Minnesota. They're Democrats there are embarrassing the party. You know,
(23:40):
I would love to talk about that right now, but
I am an orderly person. I did the show prep
for this show, and I'm talking about the inauguration of
Donald Trump and doing that first, getting the show off
on the right foot. And that's what we need to do.
(24:08):
Talk about the great stuff first and then trust me, Minnesota,
I mean, that's when you get to that. We're talking
about how the Democrats are still digging themselves deep into
a hole. So okay, so President Trump signed a ton
of executive orders. You know, Democrats are reeling about that.
(24:32):
But Joe Biden did that too on his first day
in office, tried to direct his whole country in one day,
shut down the Keystone XL pipeline. Did you undo everything
that Trump accomplished just so he can start the destruction
of this country? Well, as you heard earlier on in
(24:55):
the program, donald Trump signed a whole lot of a
executive orders. And Fox News has a clip. I'm going
to play that now with their take on all the
executive orders that the President Trump signed. Check this out here.
Speaker 20 (25:23):
And Brooks Singman and I just got the exclusive on
what President elect Trump will do on his first day
in office. The president will sign more than two hundred
executive actions. This is a massive record breaking first wave
of policy priorities. It focuses on border security, energy and more.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Here's what you need to know.
Speaker 20 (25:39):
On day one, President elect Trump will declare a national
border emergency, direct the US military to work with the
Department of Homeland Security to fully secure the Southern Order,
and he will establish a national priority to eliminate all
criminal cartels operating on US soil. Trump will also designate
cartel's as foreign terrorist organizations. Yes, Trump will reinstate remain
in Mexico. He will also a catch and release and
(26:01):
he will direct the military to construct new areas of
border walk. A senior administration official also told me that
Trump will sign executive orders and actions related to energy policy.
They say that these policies will be about liquid natural
gas ports, forracking, pipelines, permitting, and more. Trump will also
end all diversity, equity and inclusion programs across the federal government.
(26:21):
He also will establish biological sex definitions, and he will
rename historical places like the Gulf of America. On day one,
Trump will also signed specific presidential memorandum to ensure that
costs for American taxpayers are lower, and as promised, Trump
will roll back a number of Biden era policies. He
will end the Green New Deal, end the electric vehicle mandate,
(26:42):
and he will withdraw from the Paris Climate Court. And
as for TikTok, it is back operational in the US
due to Trump's actions. If you want more details on
everything Trump will do on his first day in office,
read my story on Foxnews dot com.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Okay, so yeah, like I said, Donald Trump when he
came in the office for a second time, he basically
hit the ground running. And that's exactly what you want
from a really good leader. I mean, we're not dealing
with Joe anymore. You know, the old man that has
to sleep half the day too tired, can't do anything
(27:20):
when he finally gets up and takes his medication, has
to go and get ice cream and you know, and
do nothing but destroy the country. You know, we don't
have that anymore. We don't have it anymore. We have
Donald Trump as president, a real leader, and America's gonna
(27:43):
see this. This is gonna be like nineteen eighty all
over again. Ronald Reagan became president after Carter fixed everything.
Country's been pretty red for a long time after that.
That's probably what we're gonna end up seeing here. So anyway, yes,
(28:06):
it's time to take a break. Let's take a break,
second break of the program. Be back in one minute.
Lots more to go, a lot more great stuff, and
we'll do that in one minute when I come back
to the ground.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
And welcome on back. So grateful for everyone who's listening
from wherever you're listening from across America and throughout the world.
As America is celebrating a brand new presidential administration that
is already hit the ground running. It's going to be
a great four years and maybe many many more if
(29:26):
the Democrats keep acting stupid. So anyway, welcome on back.
So we're ready to bring this segment to a close.
I got a little bit more to talk about. So
(29:46):
Donald Trump, and now we know that he has a
lot of great rallies. Okay, I love listening to him speak.
Whenever he does have rallies, it usually gets tens of
thousands of people showing up because everybody wants to listen
to what this great man has to say. So he
holds he held a victory rally on Sunday, the day
(30:12):
before he's a inauguration, So this was Sunday the nineteenth. Okay,
it says a lot of really good stuff. I got
a few highlights here. I didn't. I'm not gonna play
the whole thing. It's just so long. This is only
a one hour program. But I do have a few
(30:32):
great highlights. All right, So let's roll it, shall we?
Why that good faily?
Speaker 13 (30:41):
We're like winning, don't we have? Yeah, I'm not in Washington,
d C.
Speaker 7 (30:45):
And play a little rocket.
Speaker 21 (30:49):
We have twenty hours until our long national nightmare is over.
Speaker 22 (30:55):
We're almost there tomorrow, everybody in this very large area,
we'll be very.
Speaker 17 (31:00):
Happy with my decision on the Jay six hostages.
Speaker 23 (31:07):
Donald J. Trump fought hard to save this country, and
now he will bring God back to our nation's truths.
Speaker 9 (31:18):
A man who never.
Speaker 23 (31:19):
Gave up on the American people, and we the people
never gave up on him.
Speaker 7 (31:25):
Little extras followed me on the stage here.
Speaker 8 (31:28):
He's a very enthusiastic supporter.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
As you can see, we're looking forward to making a
lot of changes.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
And you know, the this victory is the start.
Speaker 15 (31:43):
We will not be invaded, we will not be occupied,
we will not be overrun, we will not be conquered.
Speaker 13 (31:52):
We will be a free and proud nation once again.
Speaker 23 (31:56):
And that will take place tomorrow at twelve o'clock.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Yeah yeah, oh yeah. So they brought up a good
point that they're freeing the January sixth hostages. Well, okay,
let me shed a little light on what's going on
with that. President Trump came in the office and he
pardoned about fifteen hundred people charged and convicted with the
(32:32):
insurrection on January sixth. So people, I mean, we have
Democrats saying, okay, well these insurrections, is there criminals, they
get to go free. They assaulted police officers. Well, first
of all, since when his Democrats care about police officers.
But Joe Biden on his like last day or last
(32:54):
couple of days in office, he pardoned his whole well
Biden crime family and anybody working on the January sixth committee,
right because he didn't want Trump investigating them or bringing
(33:14):
up charges against them for their crime. So well, well
that would pave the way for these January sixers that
got arrested, like fifteen hundred of them charged and even convicted. Well,
here's my take on it. I'm gonna put my take
on it real quick. That mainly their crime was trespassing.
(33:38):
They went there to protest, right. They didn't mean to
hurt anybody. They just it just a lot of people
showed up, Like thousands of people showed up. It was
meant to be a protest. Right. There's some shoving and
some people got hurt, but that's what it was meant.
There's so many people still in jail. It's been four years. Okay,
(34:00):
what do you think they've suffered long enough? They should
have a speedy trial. No, Democrats don't feel that way.
I think they've suffered enough for trespassing. You know, protests.
You know you have a right to protest. Okay, Democrats
(34:20):
hated it because, oh they're speaking out against us stealing
the election. So either way, they suffered enough. They've been
in jail long enough for trespassing. Let's just end the lunacy.
I mean, if Biden can pardon a lot of people,
so can Trump. Okay, see it's okay for Democrats to
(34:44):
do something, but oh, if Trump even does something, even close.
Oh oh, that's horrible. So okay. See lastly, you know,
as Trump does stuff, I'll talk about it on forthcoming
(35:04):
episodes and stuff. I'm here all the time, you know me.
I'll have plenty more shows coming up. But lastly, in
this segment, before I go on to talking about what's
going on in Minnesota, That'll be after the next break,
I promise, because I'm almost done with this segment. Okay.
(35:25):
With Trump's inauguration, a lot of performers there. One performer
is a great friend of Donald Trump. It's Lee Greenwood,
who sings the all famous God Bless the Usa. You know,
that great patriotic song, great song. So yeah, he was
(35:50):
happy to perform for Trump. And Trump plays that song
too at his rallies. That's kind of like a trademark
of Donald Trump. So Lee Greenwood was interviewed on Fox
News for performing at the inauguration events. Let's check this
(36:11):
out here, think us now?
Speaker 5 (36:13):
Is Lee Greenwood the famous voice behind God Blessed the Usa?
Speaker 9 (36:17):
Lee, it's great to see you again.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
The last time I saw you in person was at
a Mitt Romney rally in twenty twelve. I can't remember
the city. It was at an airport somewhere. You came
up with your lovely wife, and you were just so
nice and so gracious to everybody there. And now you're
going to be the headliner this afternoon at the Capitol
One Arena, and you're going to be introducing President Trump
(36:39):
just before he puts his hand on the Bible for
the oath of office. What's this weekend going to be
like for you? Having played such a huge role in
his campaign up to now, Well, what a privilege.
Speaker 17 (36:51):
And here we are inside the Capitol Arena. We stepped
out of the snow. It's nice and dry in here,
and there's electric excitement inside this arena.
Speaker 13 (36:59):
And easier said.
Speaker 17 (37:00):
When Donald Trump puts his hand on the Bible and
swears the oath to take care of the country, and
he's the forty seventh president of the United States, I'm
hoping it'll be this Bible which is released tomorrow as
a tribute to Donald Trump, the forty seventh president. It's
God Bless the USA Bible dot com. The only going
to be five thousand of these. And I know he's
going to take the oath by putting his hand on
(37:21):
several Bibles. He might do this one as well.
Speaker 24 (37:25):
You know, Lee, what I teased earlier that hey, maybe
Leo sing us out in a bit when he joins
us if your wrote in and said no, no, he
needs to save his boys for inauguration.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
So we'll let you.
Speaker 7 (37:36):
Decide on that front.
Speaker 24 (37:38):
But meantime, Lee, if I could just ask you, I mean,
this has just been an incredible journey that you have
been on, and I mean millions of people all over
the world know who you are because of this song
and because of your relationship to the president elect. I mean,
this is just an incredible story for you.
Speaker 13 (38:00):
It really is.
Speaker 17 (38:00):
And of course I've been a country artist for forty
years with eleven number one songs. I'm established in Nashville, Tennessee.
I'm not originally from Tennessee. I'm from California. After traveling
the country for forty years. In interesting that the association
with a president of the United States expands the people's
knowledge of who you are and what your career is.
There's a line in my song that I gladly stand
(38:22):
up next to you and defend her still today. I
had no idea when I wrote that song and that
line I would actually be standing next to the president
of the United States.
Speaker 5 (38:33):
Yeah, you know, we're actually showing video of that right now.
This is October the fifth in Butler, Pennsylvania, when Donald
Trump made his return to the place where he nearly
lost his life. You know, at most rallies, it's a
recorded version of God Blessed a USA that's played, But
that day you were right there beside him in Butler, Pennsylvania.
(38:54):
It was such an amazing moment. So there's a big
program coming up that we're going to be carrying live
there for the Capital One Center. It's you, Jason Aldean,
Carrie Underwood, the Village People coming Back, Kid Rock, Christopher Mantio,
Billy Ray Cyrus, Gavin d Grau, and Parker McCollum. This
is going to be quite an event for the folks
who have gathered there today, Folks who were hoping to
(39:16):
be on the mall tomorrow to watch the inauguration in
the west front of the Capitol Building on the platform there,
but won't have an opportunity for it to do. So
you've got it. You got to bring it today for
those folks. Lee, Sure you will.
Speaker 13 (39:30):
Yeah, that's not a problem.
Speaker 17 (39:32):
My wife is here with me and one of our
sons Parker Greenwood, who has enrolled in University of Miami
Guineas's Masters and Music.
Speaker 13 (39:38):
He's getting an eye full here today.
Speaker 17 (39:40):
I'm about to do my sand check off God Bless
the USA, and you know what, God Bless the USA Bible,
don't forget about it.
Speaker 13 (39:46):
God Bless Usa Bible dot com. I love it, Lee.
Speaker 24 (39:51):
I wonder if people at home have questions like maybe
they wonder do you ever do you ever change a
word or no, do you ever sort of play around
with it? I think sung this song as many times.
Speaker 7 (40:01):
As you have.
Speaker 17 (40:04):
I think I sing it differently in every environment, sometimes
just descending at the piano in a small intimate performance
or in an arena like this, there's going to have
to be more of a projection.
Speaker 13 (40:14):
And I'll find out in a moment when I do
a sound check.
Speaker 5 (40:18):
You know, I don't know if a lot of people
know this. And I was surprised to actually find it
out too, because I had missed this. I grew up
in Canada, moved to the United States in nineteen eighty nine.
You did a version of God Blessed the USA that
was God Blessed Canada, and your song being such a
huge part of President Trump's comeback. I'm wondering why Justin
(40:38):
Trudeau didn't imprace your version of the Canada song, because
he's in so much trouble now.
Speaker 13 (40:47):
Well, it's for me.
Speaker 17 (40:48):
Is an adornment of the military, the Canadian Air Force
known as the what are they called the White the Snowbirds.
They actually have attributed an awful lot to our service
in the world, and they should write next to us.
And I know a lot of the military from Canada,
so that's why I wrote that version of it. And
they have something called the Highway of Heroes, and when
(41:10):
they have a Canadian soldier brought home from the war,
they run him, they take him down the highway to
his last resting place, and the people are on the overpassage,
just like in the United States.
Speaker 13 (41:19):
But they played God Bless Canada. So it makes me proud.
Speaker 24 (41:24):
Bully, God bless you, and God Bless the USA. Thanks
so much for joining us.
Speaker 13 (41:30):
Thanks very much, God Bless you and God Bless the USA.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
All right, does Lee Greenwood and Neil that's a great song.
Let's play it here is Lee Greenwood, God Bless the USA.
If to borrow.
Speaker 25 (41:51):
All the things were gone, I work for all my
life and I had to start again, which my children
and my wife.
Speaker 15 (42:03):
I think my.
Speaker 18 (42:04):
Lucky starts to be living here today because the flag
still stands for freedom and they can't take that out away.
And I'm bout to be an American where at least
one no, I'm free, and I won't to forget the
(42:28):
man who died who gave that badge to me, and
I gladly stand that.
Speaker 7 (42:37):
A defenders still.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
He did, because there ain't no down.
Speaker 7 (42:42):
Under this land.
Speaker 12 (42:45):
God bless the USA.
Speaker 22 (43:00):
From the lakes Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee, across
the place of Texas, from sea to shining scene.
Speaker 9 (43:14):
From Detroit down to Houston.
Speaker 15 (43:17):
And New York too well lake where there's pride in
every American heart. And it's time we stand in sand
that about to be an American where it the sign
but Whi'm tree and our forgets the men who died
(43:41):
now gave that right to me, and I glad it Sam,
thank to you, and dependstill today because there ain't no
doubt under business, my governess, and am bowed to be
(44:06):
an American women he's got no.
Speaker 26 (44:10):
Free and I won't forget the man who died who
gave that right, and I'm glad independent still today.
Speaker 15 (44:25):
Could there being no doubt out the business.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
God Bless bless all right, that's Lee Greenwood singing his
iconic song, God Blessed the USA, and that is Donald Trump's,
basically his trademark at his rally. Is such a great song.
(44:52):
God Bless the USA and Donald Trump and the great
administration taking over away time for a break. Gonna be
our last break in the program. We're back in one minute. Yes,
we're gonna talk about what's going on in Minnesota. You're
not gonna believe this, folks, but we'll have the details
coming up in one minute when I come back.
Speaker 9 (45:12):
Figure out.
Speaker 3 (45:15):
You're listening to the Brian Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg
Radio Network.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Politics, news and current events. We do that better than anyone.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Great news stories, great insights. You're listening to the Brian
Wallenberg Show on the Wallenberg Radio Network.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
And welcome on back. Final stretch of the program ahead
of us, as this is the first episode of a
brand new presidential administration, as we are on the road
for American recovery. It's so great, Gosha, is this gonna
be so great now the next four years? I just
(46:16):
can't wait for all the great stuff. All right, so
we're talking about, Okay, what's going on in Minnesota. Well,
so with that, we have to go back to talking
about those pesky Democrats.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
We all know Brian is conservative, but what are the
liberals up.
Speaker 2 (46:39):
To find out? Here?
Speaker 3 (46:42):
On democratic chaos?
Speaker 23 (46:46):
All right?
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Which is which means the Democrats are just up to
no good? Okay? With the red wave across the board,
the Democrats have a party to rebuild, right, They need
to get their heads out of their rear ends, get
them on straight. But are they doing that? No, they're not.
(47:11):
So let's talk about Minnesota. It's the state that I
was born and raised. It's still a swing state, even
though it is gone blue quite a bit as of
late Minnesota for the natural beauty lakes and pine trees
(47:33):
and looms like you hear here. It's also a trademark
of Minnesota, the sound Minnesota loom. Okay, So that's great.
So let's all right, let's get serious here as I
(47:54):
talk about the red wave that's been going on across
the country. State and local elections saw everything go right
across the board, even in areas where Democrats won. And
I keep saying this all the time that their lead
(48:16):
is shrinking. So in Minnesota they had Democrats had control
of the Minnesota House of Representatives by six seats and
the Senate by one. So it's still kind of a
swing state. And after the election, I thought that Democrats
(48:38):
only had it by two seats. Well that's not necessarily true.
There is some contesting going on. This's also a Democratic
representative that got elected, but the Minnesota Supreme Court said
that the person didn't live in that district law long
(49:00):
enough to qualify, so that election was overturned by the
Supreme Court. So they're awaiting a special session, which Governor
Tim Waltz, who ran as Kamala Harris's running mate, so
(49:22):
tampon Tim set a special election for later in January. Well,
the Minnesota Supreme Court threw that out and said you
have to wait till after the session starts before you
can call a special session to replace that House seat.
It's Minnesota House seat forty B, which is in Roseville area.
(49:44):
So a special election was set for March to fill
the vacant seat. So here's the thing. Republicans have sixty
eight seats right now. Democrat have sixty seven seats. Because
(50:04):
that one seat was thrown out. Now, had that not
would have happened, it would have been a complete tie
sixty eight. The sixty eight Republicans and Democrats to have
a have split control. So with a vacant seat, the
Republicans have the House Chamber by one seat. Well, the
(50:32):
House was supposed to be in session a week ago,
but the Democrats didn't know show they're having whiny baby
temper tantrums. Seriously, they're having baby, whiny temper tantrums. So
they're protesting, they're they're not showing up for work. So yeah,
(50:54):
so they're not in session. Now, the Republicans decided to
take matters into their own hands. You'll lect to speaker
and start trying to conduct business. Well, unfortunately, the Minnesota
Supreme Court came back and said, no, you gotta have
sixty sorry, sixty eight for quorum. Wait a second, I'm sorry.
(51:16):
What did I say? I'm sorry? Let me back up.
Republicans have sixty seven.
Speaker 9 (51:23):
Seats.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
Okay, you gotta have sixty eight for a quorum because
the Democrats aren't there, so they're one short of a quorum,
so they're not able to hold session. But they were
gonna do it. I mean, they literally were going to
do that. So let me you know, I got some
(51:49):
audio clips here. I'm gonna get a hold of this, Okay.
This first audio clip is from the Minnesota local TV
station KAIRI TV so Caro eleven news coverage, and this
is a story that they ran on the Democrats boycotting
the legislative session. So let's go ahead and roll this
(52:12):
for you. It's a good one, good.
Speaker 27 (52:15):
Evening, thanks for joining us tonight. Minnesota House Democrats made
good on their threat today to boycott the first day
of the legislative session to try to prevent the Republicans
from being able to open the House with a majority
and elect a speaker.
Speaker 21 (52:28):
The Secretary of State, who is a Democrat, declared there
were not enough lawmakers in the chamber to begin the
session with a quorum. Then things took a turn. House
Republicans ousted the Secretary of State, took over the chamber
and began conducting business in a move the DFL called illegal. Now,
this power struggle comes as Republicans have a likely temporary
(52:49):
one seat advantage for the next few weeks until a
special election is held to fill a vacant seat in Roseville.
Speaker 27 (52:55):
The two parties are locked in a battle over who
should lead. Until then, Danny Spiewalk has been following this
back and forth, this unprecedented, really amount of chaos at
the capitol and joins us with more. It had to
be kind of almost a bizarre scene today at the capital, Danny, It.
Speaker 19 (53:13):
Was truly a remarkable scene here on the House floor
at the state Capitol this afternoon. The Republicans went ahead
and elected a Speaker of the House of Representatives, which
the DFL doesn't recognize and called illegal. Ultimately, this whole
thing is likely.
Speaker 2 (53:32):
Okay, that cut out there, so let's see here. So yeah, sorry,
my audio clip messed up. So what happened was Republicans
wanted to take control and start business, but they're not
(53:55):
able to do it because Republicans say, hey, we want
to lead, we want to get this done, and Democrats
they're boycotting everything. So yeah, that's just that's just gonna
be how the Democrats are. They are just you know,
(54:17):
they're having whiny baby protests. Now, had they were probably
had the Republicans would have done something like this, Democrats
would be all over them. But yeah, but but if
a Democrat is doing this like, oh, well, we can't
give power to the Republicans. So I think I get this,
(54:43):
uh kind of loaded back up here right now, let's
check this out and empty DFL desks on the gates. No, sorry,
that's kind of screwing up a little bit. So yeah,
I mean now, Governor Tim Waltz, you know, tampon Tim there,
he has the power to order them, you know, to
(55:07):
come back to work. Governor Greg Abbott in Texas did
that a few years ago when Democrat one of the
block of bill so they decide to fly on a
plane in the DC, you know, skip the session, and
Greg Abbott says, well, you're gonna be all arrested when
you come back. You can't be doing this. Tampon Tim
(55:31):
has similar authority, but he's a Democrat and he's actually
encouraging the Democrat House to be doing this. Yes, Tampon
Tim is encouraging his fellow Democrats to do these protests.
But that's just how Democrats are, you know, fight against Republicans.
(55:55):
So they're not in session yet by the time that
special election epens to fill that vacant seat, and if
then the Democrats win that because it is kind of
a highly Democratic area, that's possible that that might happen.
(56:15):
You know, then they'll have you know, the session is
gonna be almost sober, supposed to be over. I don't
know if they're just gonna run late because of this
going on. See, the Democrats are a joke. You got
a governor that's allowing that to happen. Just say go
back to work, you know, and just handle business. This
(56:38):
be bipartisan. But the Democrats are still mad that there's
a red wave across the board. But with this kind
of attitude from the Democrats, they're fixing the half Minnesota
actually go red next year. It's been kind of going
(56:59):
blue the last several years. It's been a while since
they had a then at least twelve years or so
since they had a Republican governor. But it's been pretty
blue for a while. I mean, I'm reluctant to call
it a blue state because they're just so evenly divided
(57:23):
with just an extreme slim majority going Democrat. It's still
a swing state. There's still enough swing voters. I'm just
hoping that district in Roseville actually elects a Republican make
the Democrats look stupid that they're protesting and Republicans will
(57:43):
have the House. But Minnesota, everything's up for reelection in
twenty twenty six, the governor, all the state offices, the House,
and the Senate. So the Democrats doing this can see
that state going red. Everybody's sick of the Democrats, even
(58:05):
in Minnesota. I see them commenting all the time, get
rid of all the illegal immigrants so they can't vote
in the elections. I mean, that's gonna most likely tip
the state read in itself. But the Democrats embarrassing themselves
and embarrassing the state.
Speaker 24 (58:24):
And not.
Speaker 2 (58:27):
Being part of the session and not getting the session going.
People are gonna hold them accountable, all the swing voters,
so I can see them going red during the elections
next year, during the midterms. I can see that happening,
and it's most definitely gonna happen. I can sense it now.
(58:56):
I'd love to see that that state go back to
being red. Clean up the state. It's a beautiful state.
I love Minnesota. I just can't stand the Democrats destroying
in Minneapolis. He's really gone down the drain, mainly since
George Floyd, but even before that too, the Democrats were
(59:18):
just destroying it. Minnesota is a beautiful state. I just
want to see it recover, just like the country is doing.
I think Donald Trump is going to be setting precedents
and as people end up moving out of California, these
(59:40):
horribly run red states or blue states, why can't I
get my colors straight. They're moving out of these horribly
ran blue states are going to be going to red
states and purple states, turn them red and it's gonna
be great. But yeah, Democrats, if you don't get your
act together and stop this nonsense that it's continual with you, guys,
(01:00:03):
redwave is gonna continue. I guarantee it. I can always
guarantee it. So anyway, that's gonna do it for me.
I am out of here. I'll be back next week.
I'll try to get a show on once a week.
I know I've been failing at getting on exactly once
a week. I've been busy hasibly, but I'm gonna try
