Speaker 1 (00:00):
Show.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Get out the insurance cards, get out the copays.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
The office is open, my friends, brought to you by
Doctor Rhodo dot com.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
Yo, everybody, it's you all rive, So let's.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Get to it.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
What's up everybody at heat Overrodey. I'm ready to bring
the pain for you and Doctor Rhoda this week on
another Ultrucktrarian show.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, what's up, Steve? How you doing today?
Speaker 4 (00:43):
I'm doing well. Thanks, Thanks, I appreciate it. Ready to
give some people some more advice? Uh, we're uh, we
had some good plays last week, so ready to give
them some more.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
That's right, that's right. I mean we're following up the fight.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
The fight Friday night lights everybody, I assume I saw
miss but they had Trevor there was Willie was on
there and so was Lou so they I got to
watch them a little bit. Yeah, they literally just got
done going live.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
So that was really cool.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
And so we get the follow up and everything like that.
So you know, everybody that's new to the show or
may I just be catching this? Of course, this is
the Ultra Contrarian Show. We try to find lower ownership
players that will help us succeed in both cash games.
And Steve throws in a core four and he also
(01:33):
throws in the flag Go pick of the week, which
will give you a GPP side of things, right, Steve.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
That's right, that's right. You know in GPPs you can't
play it safe. I mean you can have some safe plays.
Obviously I give out safe plays the certain guys that
are gonna explode, you gotta play, but you got to
try to get the low own and we weren't quite
right with the percentages last week. But the beginning of
the year is always tough. I always tell people, you know,
you do your best for the first couple of weeks
of the NFL, things start to get feeling out, and
(02:03):
then by the second, third, fourth, ye we get into
the season, you can see who's getting the snaps, who's
getting the targets, who's price right, who's price wrong, that
kind of thing. So, you know, the FLA Go pick
last week were little high on the ownership, but he
ended up pulling out you know, doubles at the end, so.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
That was wild, I guess will.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
I mean, if we did our job correctly, we swayed
enough people to go to Judy and he came out.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
He came out great.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Got enough targets. Of course, like you said, first half
kind of stunk. It took a minute for them to
get on and right now the Baltimore Ravens look like
they're reeling in the secondary.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
They thought they had that solved.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Seems like they didn't really solve that problem last week.
So that being said, you know, that allowed Buffalo to
come back. But the difference between Buffalo and and you know,
Jerry Judy is Jerry Judy technically other than like Keon Coleman,
Judy is kind.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Of a bigger player, a better wide receiver, more complete.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Even though he's kind of had a haunted past, he's
he's been solid from the end of last year and
from what I saw, Cleveland does rely on him.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Yeah, and if you had not to choot my own horn,
but if you didn't watch last week, Mayfield went off
Robinson when Atlanta was blown it away from beginning when
he almost have had.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
Twenty some twenty nine seven yep, rafkings points. Evans was
a letdown, but most of the other you know.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
BUCA came through. Yeah, he touched downs.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Two to down big time for sure. Yeah, Yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Know that's what sucked about my lineups too, because one
lineup did good, the other one did would just finished
under the fifty to fifty cash line and if you
were in the right one, it would have hit, but
it wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
So my FanDuel lineup pit that that lineup break there was.
It was golden. It was literally leading the whole day.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
And then I thought I had the second half hammer
with the four Pig four PM games, and those games
stunk Walker.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
We both got Walker wrong. Hey we admite our mistakes
here walk ahead a game. But just so you know
that I played. I didn't play much, but he single
line up I cashed in every tournament, So you know,
that's what you got to do. It wasn't much, but
I was in the on the board. If you play,
there is how you and this is you have to
(04:20):
understand when you're a tournament player. It's not about cashing
every week. Of course you want to. You know, you
know when you listen to Hea, he's gonna tell you
how to get those fifty to fifties. I'm telling you
how to go for that big bucks, the qualifiers to
get you know, big time money. Uh and and it's
just it's just a different it's just a slightly different
strategy or a different strategy, then.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah, Cash, you gotta say.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
If you can afford to max one hundred fifty lineups,
go for it. I can't afford it, you know. So
you could afford that, I'll give you my core. You
take that core, you know, mess around with it, use
the optimizers, things like that. Yeah, but if you could afford,
go for it. If not, remember those single entries, the
three max, the five max.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Exactly and that and then and you weigh you weigh
in right there with the keep it simple, you know,
keep it to the single entries and keep it to
the three max so that you only put put in three.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
If you're gonna put.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Three five dollars lineups in, it's worth the shot. You've
got the hit, you've got the optimizer, you have my lineups,
you have Steve's angle, you have everybody else's. And before
the lineups even go live, we're live in the subsolutely
discord on Doctor Roto. So you you it's a win
win if you feel like that. That's how things really
worked out. But yeah, last week was it worked out
(05:38):
really well. You know, initially I had put I had
ATM in there.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
But you know, I'm just gonna hang it out. It
was good.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
So I start one on one and oh on one
league zero and one on the other league.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
It's a long season. I'm not worried about it. We're
to win this week, right, So let's get to it.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Let's get to it. My quarterback, and I know this.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
I know that this might be a bias pick, maybe
it's a biased week, but I don't think it's a
biased pick. It's gonna be Matt Stafford DK fifty eight
hundred sixty nine hundred on fandle Matt Stafford quietly gets
it done now. He had thirteen points last week. But
the Rams are going to dominate the Titans every single
(06:23):
aspect of this game. And I'm kind of giving away
where my one of my big stacks are. And I
know that a lot of people try to not be
Ram fans, but I do trust in them. I trust
in what Puka is doing right now, and that is
definitely a target for me.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
So when I look at Stafford and I see.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
The ability with two forty five and one touchdown, he
could easily get two eighty eight three hundred, I get
the three hundred multiplier would be great, and at least
two touchdowns, I'll be happy with that.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I like Stafford a lot this week. That's that's a
good play. Yeah, And I don't want to give away
one of the other picks that I like a wide receiver,
but yeah, yeah, I think he's a good I think
it's going to play. I think in GPPs, you know
I'm looking, you know, so I said it last week.
My boys are on the slate, the Ravens are on
(07:17):
the slate. So I admit I'm a homer, but I
always tell people you know about your home team more
than any other team, whether you play with them or
against them, you know, you usually know your home team.
And so I'm tempted. I'm tempted to go Lamar Jackson,
but if you pay down, you can maybe get Like
(07:37):
our buddy Steve Bell over at Doctor Roto, he likes Fields.
I kind of like Fields too. Buffaloes give up the
points they're at. The Jets. Fields went for let's see
twenty nine and a half DK points last week, and
I think I think Fields is a is a good
play quarterback. But all around that range in the fifty
(07:58):
seven hundred, you got Fields, you could probably go Golf
or Prescott or Knicks or any of these guys.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Rogers is right there too. Like you think that Rogers
like Rogers hates.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Him play a Steelers.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Yeah, and it's a Steeler. This is the home opener
for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Like think that, you don't they DK Metcalf is gonna
have a walk a little bit of revenge in this.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
I'm sure he is.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
I am dying. I am so in it. I am
so in it, buddy.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
You're you're making me change my line up. But go ahead,
he said, three, Max, That's that's right. Three. So you
could go BVPS. You go, Rogers. You can go fields
and pair them up with the receivers. Always remember if
pairry quarterback with at least one receiver or tight end
or two three depending on the game, but at least one.
(08:57):
I like what you said that you can go fields,
you go any of these in the five thousand range.
I don't think you have to pay up for Alan
or Jackson this week. I just I just don't think
you have to do it. I love him, you know,
I like it. They're both gonna be fighting for the
MVPs again. Hurts Burrow. You know are good plays, they're
a little bit less, but I think you can pay
in that five thousand ranges.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
I agree with it. I agree with that one. All right,
let's move along. One of the running backs kind of
threw you off when we did our pre talk to
the show. I love James Cook this week sixty four
hundred on DraftKings. Love that price on DraftKings for a
player that got twenty points and has been consistently getting
a lot of points throughout the playoffs and at the
(09:39):
end of last season and having a great season, getting
that contract, he feels confident he's putting it out.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
He is also sixty nine hundred on Fandel I love it.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Everything flows through Alan and James Cook, and they never
forget about getting James Cook.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
How do you feel about that?
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Well, you got me onto this play. I like it.
I mean I like him. The Bills again, how many
points did the Ravens and Bills put up the other day?
Like ninety points or something like that. Yeah, it was.
It was ridiculous, and of course we thought it was
in the back. But anyway, moving on, So, if you're
playing fields in the GPP, run back Cook on the
(10:19):
other side. So you go fields at quarterback and then
you can run back cook on the other side. There
buffalos can be good. Whether they're on the road or
at home this year, it doesn't matter. And I really
like that play a lot, so so I agree with you.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
There's another way too, do you You you have somebody
that I know, I me and you had talked. Right,
We're gonna bring this player up a little later. But
also Bill, the Bills corners.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Last week just couldn't tackle worth a crap man. They sucked.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
So if they can't tackle a certain wide receiver that
we might mention later, then that's gonna be a very problem.
And of course pairing and then running it on the
other side. Such a great GPP play man, right.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
Because you're going for high scoring games, and you know,
and that's what you want to hope, or at least
if it's not high scoring, the main the main players
in that game score. You know, whether it's a team
some teams spread around, it's harder to find on some
run two running back sets, not with some team, and
so you have to find who's gonna score. Even if
it's not high scoring game. You can still get maximize
(11:26):
your your fantasy points. But always running back?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Is there another Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Like you said, run it back always always played two
sides of the ball. Is there another running back you
like around those ranges other than you know, before not
giving out any of your core picks or your flag
pick of the week, is there a couple other running
backs you were looking at this week?
Speaker 4 (11:50):
Well, I'm gonna ask you. You know, I have Breise
Hall in the heat override our league. Is he gonna
have a good game?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I mean I think he is. I think he's gonna
have a great game. And I think that goes back
to what we were just talking about. And it's not
just about what Derrick Henry did to the Buffalo Bills
last week. The Buffalo Bills practically set up their defense
to be kind of a pass rush defense and it
kind of prevent defense.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
The only problem is their corners aren't good.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
They're like okay, and their linebackers aren't good. But it's
that front line that really works for them, especially Bosa.
There was a few plays. There was a one play
and you know what I'm talking about. Lamar took off
and running on this play. It was like a second
or third down and Bosa just lunches at him and
he missed them completely. It would have been like a
(12:41):
fifteen yard sack, and Lamar juked him and the other
guy before that before getting out and being able to
get down the field.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Remember that play. That's a great problem.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
Yeah. And then I mean in that range, you have
all these guys. You got Williams for the rams you said,
you know against Tennessee. I don't think that's a hard
play either. You got Chubba, Hubbler, Kamara, They're all there
are all possible plays if you want to. But you know,
you know, I think Presaw Williams are all very good
plays right there.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yeah, and I like, you know, I'll even say, like
Jamal Williams might be a little sneaky atm might be
a little higher owned. He's fifty seven hundred right now.
Cincinnati doesn't have a defense. They're getting kind of bald.
So it allows Jacksonville to come in and be able
to play up points, which is crazy because I really
(13:32):
do Cincinnati. I think Cincinnati is going to blow them out.
Everybody thought last week, all the Jamar Chase owners, all
the Joe Burrow, They're all like ready to jump ship, right, No,
you're not, because you'll be happy after this week. This
is another game that needs to be focused on as
well too as the Jacksonville Cincinnati game, because both offenses
(13:52):
can score. But I will say I like the Jacksonville
defense a little better. Just I think that the Bengals
will will be able to score on them.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Ok you all right, all right, smove the wide receiver.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
Oh wait, do we have to tell you the running
back you have to play at the top? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:13):
I mean, do you want to you want me.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
To save him? I'm just saying him. Well, week a wait,
week a wait. But him and Barkley are both good
plays to high end. Barkley him, I think a very
good at the high So if people want to know
about the high end, all right, we're just gonna give
it a no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Honestly, I agree with Saquon Barkley. I have him in
one lineup already. I I think the Chiefs are reeling.
I think the defense has been stagnant. When they got
rid of Lagarious Neat, not that he was the hype
or the hope of the team, it allowed them to
be able to stop people.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
They got exposed last week.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
By the Chargers and that, and and and a lot
of people saw that that was gonna happen at the
same time. But when you run it back, Chris Jones
is on the sideline frustrated. Why because he doesn't have
help around him. It's almost like Aaron Donald effect that
led Aaron Donald to retire. So now we got Jones.
Now we have a week secondary. Now we have an
(15:13):
offense with busted up receivers. We got Travis Kelcey showing
up when he wants to, and the running backs are poor,
they suck. So this team is all Mahomes and that
I get it.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Mahomes is an amazing player. He can do it, and I.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
Think I mean indrupt. Sorry, you can play McCaffrey or Henry,
but we'll talk about Henry layer. Let's move on to
wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, all right, one one wide receiver you definitely have had.
And of course this goes with of course the pairing
spook ond Nokola seventy six DraftKings.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
I'll pay it eighty four hundred on Fandle. I'll pay it. Steve.
What do you think about him?
Speaker 4 (15:57):
I love him again. I have him in the heat
over Bradley. He's he's a great player this week, great play,
and he's he's at seventy six hundred. He's the third
highest or DraftKings on the Sunday Slate. But I think
that's because he's great. It's because he's great. If you
did not watch this guy last year, you are missing
missing out. He is freaking great. So I love that ball,
(16:19):
ye seeing him the ball twenty six point one fandom
points last week. Ten eleven targets, ten receptions on eleven targets,
I mean eleven targets and one hundred and thirty yards
and he didn't even score.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
So yeah, yeah, and that's like a ninety five catch rate,
Like yeah, you can't, you can never. I mean, I
love him. I love him this week. That's that's That's
what I'm saying. Tennessee is going to get destroyed. And
this is all playing into my theory. Other than that
(16:53):
cam Ward will not win Rookie of the Year and
that's fine, but man, the way, it doesn't even matter
about Devanta Adams. He was great last week too, you know,
but he's just he's kind of that guy. He's just
that the Cooper Cup role, whereas.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Nakula took over the Cup role.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Completely, and the Rams needed to get bigger on the
other side because everybody else we had was small. But
I didn't like the way that they didn't use a
lot of the other players, and they never used the
tight ends. That's fine, but that's why we love the
Rams number one players because they milt the shit out
of them.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
That I agree.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Yeah, so what are you looking at?
Speaker 4 (17:38):
Okay, So let's see here. You gotta pair Wilson with fields.
If you play wheel Field, that quarterback, play Wilson on
the Jets. He had twenty two and a half DraftKings
points last week. He's going up and we got Yeah,
that's right. Buffalo defense seven receptions on nine targets, ninety
(18:00):
five yards in a touchdown. Pair them up with fields
and Buffalo. Buffalo's not gonna be able to stop anybody,
at least at the beginning of the year, I don't think.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
And it too shifty. They're gonna miss tackles.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
He's gonna get the feeds, gonna get it, and so
is Breze Hall. He's gonna get a lot of feeds. Seriously. Yeah,
you can literally just focus on the Rams, Buffalo, Jets
and Jacksonville Cincinnati. If you can pull enough from those games,
(18:31):
you're gonna freaking love it. You're just gonna you're gonna
have such an explosive week this week, both cash games
and GPP wise.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Yeah, and just so you know, looking here over under
in the Jaguar Bengal games, forty nine and a half
and the Jets game I think was forty seven and
a half, and what was the third game you mentioned.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
The Rams, Rams and Rams and Titans.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
That's on the lower end. But again that's only forty one.
But if you picked the right players, like we said,
a lot of these guys don't have that big three
wide receiver sets.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Well, the Rams are winning thirty one to ten.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Well that's the point. Yeah, he got math exactly.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
The award is going to get sacked ten times, ten
times exactly.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Okay, that's a lot.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Okay, in reality, he's probably getting sacked five, but let's
double it up ten times, like everybody is going to
there's no way the line stucks. They ain't got nobody
that's gonna really beat us deep. They suck it tight end.
I know Conco is good, but whatever, We're not worried
about that. We're not worried about Paular polar the Rams
(19:43):
sometimes can get gashed.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
That's not happening.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
That's not happening.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
I mean, Chubb, Chubb is game sixty yards, but what's up?
Speaker 4 (19:51):
Yeah, Well, and the Rams are favored by five and
a half on the road and the home King gets three.
So really they're like an eight and a half point favorite,
you know, so exactly.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
And that's a great point. Man. That's why I love you, brother,
That's why I love you. That's why you you have
been such.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
A great addition to the ultra Contrarian show because it
adds that other aspect, that other wildness on that other side.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
You know.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
So we got we got some crazy we got some
crazy fence in the middle of us.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Right, and we were our lawns are going crazy.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
We're whacking this out of them, and it's just some
fun times because in the end, it just means green
for everybody.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Right, That's right? Who else? Who Else's like, you.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Know, hey, I love AJ Brown this week sixty six hundred.
When are you gonna get AJ Brown for sixty six
hundred against a wimpy ass secondary in Kansas City?
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Like they can't eat you? Better?
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Put Travis Kelsey on AJ Brown I'm serious, people, you
gotta do something. Juju Smith Schuster put Juju smith Schuster
on AJ Brown.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
It's literally the Chiefs O hope.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
And I don't care if any of my Chiefs fans
or friends get hate on this. I'm telling you, the
Eagles are coming to town to whoop that ass.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I agree. He had one target
last week. One that is not happening. This week that
is not happening. He's gonna be involved and involved early
Super Bowl rematch at home Kansas City, his first home game.
They're gonna be pumped. But so it's Philly. Philly's gonna
show up. Hey, we're not. We are the super Bowl champs.
(21:30):
Let's play this game.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
And we're still the same team.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
I think he's gonna get the first target of the game.
I think they're gonna get him involved right over that.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Play that as a bet. I play that as a
bet because that's a statement. That's a statement bet. And
if that bet hits, that's a statement.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
They're getting involved up real early, and I like it
so much. And I'm playing him in my GPP lineup
as well.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Ye all right, let's move to tight end.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I'm running it back, Steve, I'm running it back. I'm
going back to Brighton Strange.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
It's a great player.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
It's a thirty six hundred on DK and fifty one
hundred on Fandel.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
What do you think about it?
Speaker 4 (22:10):
I like it. He he hit for us last week.
He's a great play right there at thirty six hundred.
But you know, I just looked at it and kind
of as interesting as Johnson on New Orleans. He's also, Yes,
Juwan Johnson's also at the same price. He had eight
he had twelve targets last week, Yes, margets called eight
(22:31):
passes seventy six yards. He had fifteen and a half.
You know, d k points. I like him too. And
now I'm debating which which I'll have to think about
that for a second. Who's gonna be lower on in
the GVP.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Yeah, yeah, it's gonna be It'll probably be Johnson, and
that is Rattler loves him.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Yeah, but he had that's a.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
No go ahead?
Speaker 1 (22:57):
I was gonna say, And a lot of people love they.
Do you think the Saints could be sneaky this week? Kamara?
Speaker 2 (23:03):
But mostly Johnson. Johnson is a guy that you do
definitely you pay down for. But I will say this
with one of my lineups coming up, there's a price
discrepancy on a tight End on a certain site that
I'm gonna bring up, and that's gonna be a really
extreme play. But that's also a great play on DK
as well too. So when we get to that point,
(23:24):
I will pull that out because I think that he
deserves to be talked about as well.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Who do you like it? Tight End?
Speaker 4 (23:31):
Man? You know, I like Strange, I like Johnson. Now
that I'm looking at it, I think you can go
to Hunter Henry at four thousand one DK get to Miami.
That's a good play. I don't think you need to
pay up for McBride this week. Kettle's injured now, and
then you got Kelsey. Kelsey's on the back end of
his career, man. I mean obviously not that he's is
(23:54):
not good, but you don't need to pay five thousands
for when you can pay anyone down. You can pay
report at forty eight. Maybe Andrews comes back. I don't
know about Andrews, but he could at forty seven. But
I like that low range where week I might just
go Johnson, man, you could also go, uh yeah, I'm
might just go Johnson. You can go Kincaid again, uh
playing it?
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Ye know, yeah, the Kaid.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
But Johnson is a sneaky play because a lot of people,
I mean a lot of people are gonna be on
Tongs for San Francisco in the same game. H So
while they're on Tongues and Tongs is thirty percent owned,
you hit Johnson for eight percent owned, and you show
them what the hell is up?
Speaker 1 (24:36):
You say, Chess, that's what I like.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
That's right. I agree, and you know, well, all right, continue, No,
I love it.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
I love it and and honestly, you you you nailed
the head. The price discrepancy, as we talked about previous
before the show is Hunter Henry. He has forty nine
hundred on Fandel. Breton, Strange and Johnson are third six
hundred on draftings. Hunter Henry is four thousand, like you
just said, So why is Hunter Henry, who had eight targets,
(25:10):
four catches, sixty six yards last week? How is he
being forgotten about? But he's at that price, But now
he's forty nine hundred. He's a must play on Fandel
for me. I will I will save that two hundred
dollars in fly Down.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
Man yeah, no, I agree. I agree for sure. Yep.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
All right, yeah, all right, let's let's move to defense.
Defense man, this is it. I'm all in on the Bears.
I'm all in on the Bears. They're getting their team
back healthy, They're coming back. They showed what was up
last week and then they fell apart. They fell apart.
But I think that that will help them because they
(25:53):
got the home game this week and they are getting
right or no, they're in Detroit, aren't they know they're not.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Yeah, that's Detroit.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
But like I said, the eleven points they scored last week,
they got it, and they're getting the cornerback Jalen Johnson.
I think that is he's coming back this week if
I read that correctly, So he's gonna be able.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
To slot in, he'll be able to stop.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
They might throw him on Williams, which will be an
overmatch on the Bears end. Stevenson had a lot of
great plays last week. If you did not watch Stevenson
at the beginning of that game, and you've seen a
lot of the passes he was breaking up the Bears corners.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
As I've been saying for three.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Damn years, can hold this Lions team the only X
factor for the Lions is jamieir Gibbs. How do you
feel about the Bears and what defenses are you looking at?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
After that?
Speaker 4 (26:50):
I agree with you. I like the Bears defense. They
have three sacks. Remember when you're looking at points, obviously
the defensive touchdown those are the biggest. You know, one
reason I think you like in the IDP leagues is
because you don't have to you know, you know is
a team that scored the defensive touchdowns very random, but
they've got sacks, they got interceptions, you know, things like that.
Those are really good your points. I like them. I
(27:13):
don't think you need to pay out at all in GPPs.
You don't need to pay out for defenses. Don't do
not take Paul themor for thirty seven hundred, that's don't
do that. I don't think you need to pay for
any of them. And you know we talked about last week.
I like to pay down GP. So Bears is perfect
at that twenty five hundred range.
Speaker 6 (27:29):
You know, you could you could. I don't really like
too much lower that. You could go up a little
if you wanted. Maybe the Colts Denver at the Colts.
I like that earlier we were discussing. Yeah, and maybe
even the Patriots.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
On the road at Miami.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
And I like the Patriots because I think Miami's done.
I think the tow a train's done. I think they
need to trade Hill. I maybe keep a Chane.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
The team's are wreck. The teams are wreck. They already
traded away.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
They traded away Ramsey to Pittsburgh, and he he showed
why even though everybody wants to hey, Jalen Ramsey, do
you remember the end of that game when Jalen Ramsey.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Was hitting him? Dudes, that's why he's a tackling corner.
People just forget about that stuff. So that's why he's
perfect for Pittsburgh. This team sucks.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
New England's gonna smash the shit out of him. Man,
gonna smash him out. And I was right about Jalen Johnson.
Him and Roshawn Johnson did lock full practices all week
as well as DJ Moore. So all of them are
line and TJ. Edwards, all of them are in line
to start. Now Grady Jarrett, who is the down low.
It's a big thing because that's that would be the
(28:39):
David Montgomery kind. He had a limited practice on Friday, today,
So that kind of just kind of plays with that
a little bit. But I think that getting Johnson back
takes aman Ras Saint Brown out of the game. And
even if Stevenson is on a one raw, it doesn't matter.
It's gonna take Williams out the game. I think the
Bears can lock him up. They're gonna play a nasty game.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
They're on the road. Need to keep it close anyway.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Man, I love the twenty five hundred and then the
thirty five hundred on Fandal.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
It's perfect.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Yeah, No, I do too. All right there before we
get to my fuego pick and you're so many places
there is a receiver. We forget to mention who I'm
think I'm gonna slide into my flex spot. Hollywood Brown,
Hollywood Brown, run it back, run it back against the
(29:27):
other Brown on Philadelphia. You had sixteen targets last week, sixteen.
That's insane. He caught ten of them for ninety nine yards,
didn't score a touchdout. He's gonna get the targets again.
They don't have it like we talked about Kelsey. Maybe
he's not the Kelci of old obviously, Hollywood Brown, Ormer
(29:47):
Raven Maybe Finally he's getting in the hang of it.
Maybe I don't know. Seen targets is insane.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Yeah, And that's thing is that we were big on him,
and that I was big on him all preseason for
the season of the leagues too, because I felt that
Hollywood Brown is what Xavier broke Worthy should be. The
Hollywood Brown is just more seasoned, and because he's more seasoned,
it allows him to be in Worthy. Hollywood Brown has
(30:15):
been injured all up and in but this is the
healthiest he's ever been. So sad Worthy's already broke and
then Rice is out. This was another This is why
this was an amazing draft pick for everybody, because I
was getting Hollywood Brown late and I was I was preaching.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
I was preaching, but.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Yeah, he's last pass. I just want to mention him
because I think in my lineup I'm going to run
it back with him as the flex.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Uh So yeah, yeah, I love it, man.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
All Right, all right, so let's get to your core
four and geor fuego pick to the week.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Oo. Yeah, give your again. But I want to hear
those cores. Brother.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
Yeah, all right, Well we're gonna go field a quarterback.
Let's do it and pair him up with Wilson. Fields
and Wilson are two of my four. Yes, I'm going
Hollywood Brown, put him in there. Put him in there,
and then lock in Hollywood Brown.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
And I'm gonna have to cooker brown the other brown.
Let's go the other brown, Brown and brown versus each other.
So you got Fields and Wilson, you got Brown and Brown.
That's my core four of the week.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
We're going for attorney law firms people. We're going for Fields,
Brown and Brown and Henry. That's right, all right, brother man,
hold on, let me introduce you.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
If there's gonna be one man, Oh, thats the fegle picked,
the fuego man, Steve Wag Steve. It's gonna be the
macho man. Randy Stamwich. Oh yeah, Steve.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
He sent to the crowd and the masses. You know,
if I gonna pick up the weird, you know, you can.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Call me a home or all you want, but it's
Derrick Henry. I'm coming to him. Pay up for him.
He's the top running back on DraftKings. I don't care.
It's at home. They're pissed they lost to Buffalo. He
was only he do you know he ran for over
one hundred yards in the second quarter. The other day,
in the second quarter he only had eighteen for one
(32:28):
hundred and sixteen yards and two touchdowns. I expect him
to score two more touchdowns. I expect him to rip
off a couple of big ones. And he's pissed. He fumbled.
He's pissed. And Raves were favored by eleven points. They're
not gonna let their foot off the guests. They are
not gonna I guess Cleveland, they might be by eleven
(32:48):
for a reason. They're just gonna feed Henry feet, Henry feet.
Henry Lamar's gonna do his thing. They're gonna smoke him
at home, and their foot is not laying up the US.
Get Henry in your lions.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Forty two to ten, maybe forty two to thirteen, as
long as Judy scores the touchdown.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
We I right, Yeah, even if the defense lets some
score twenty, they're gonna score in the forties this week.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
I can Oh, dude, dude, I think, I think, I
really feel that Derrick Henry can rush for two hundred
yards this week, no doubt, one hundred yards this week.
Like you said, he's gonna be angry. What happens when
Derek Henry runs angry. He had two break tackles last week.
(33:32):
He was just running free people that's not Derrick Henry.
And then when he got he got that initiation and
then that fumble like he like Steve was saying, I'm
not playing with it. Get that man in your lineup,
figure it out, and we'll have some peat with We'll
have some people coming up. And we've talked about some
people that can save you a ton of money that
are gonna be contrarian, lower owned to help you get
(33:55):
Derrick Henry because he could be lower owned because people
aren't gonna want to pay that top price for him.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
Yeah yeah, and they might be fo yeah, and they
might like Barkley better if you're gonna pay eight thousand,
you know, and you know it's not really hard to
get him into your line really, But yeah, I think
Baltimore is not happy. They had that game in their
hand and there's no way they go oh to two
for the season, I'll tell you that. And it's against
Cleveland News, you know, I mean, call me a home
(34:23):
all you want, but this game is gonna be Yeah,
it's it's it's ye you guys.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
You guys clearly are not going to let Pittsburgh run
away with the division.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
You know that's not happening, that never has.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
All right, all right, So we're gonna throw a little
thing at the end, of course, like always, here comes.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
My ultra contrarian lineups.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
But at the end, me and Steve are gonna throw
together a DK lineup and we're just gonna put it in.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
We're gonna make it work.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
So let me get those let me get the lineups
out to all of you right now, DK, Stafford Kyrone, Williams,
James Cook.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
We got DK Metcalf.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
Remember what I said about Metcalf, You go own Seattle.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
It's gonna be Steel's City Week in Pittsburgh. Ooh yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
And from the Fight Club of payn my co host
Dan's gonna be at the game.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah. AJ Brown love the pick.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
We're going Brenton Strange, Pooka, Nikua Ag and Hollywood Brown.
We're going Hollywood Brown flex just like you said, Bears Defense.
Let's run it over to the Fandels side, Fanduels a
little switch up. We got Stafford, Kyrin, Williams, James Cook,
Nicua Metcalf.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
AJ Brown Hunter Henry.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Because of that price that allows you so much money
that I put the Cardinals defense in, and I also
put Travis Atn in at Flex. But there's so much
around the seven thousand, three hundred more you could fit
it all in. You could go right back down to
(36:04):
Hollywood Brown, and you can go all the way up
to the Rams defense if you want to.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
That is the aultra contrarian lineups of the weird. Oh yeah,
it love it. And uh, Atn's a little throw.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
I mean, some people say that I'm running it back
because of a hot week last week.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
But we talked about this Jacksonville game.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
It's just that I happened to get strange in one sight,
and I'm getting Atn in another site.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
And the trade, the trade for for Tank Bigsby to
Philly is perfect. I don't need to I don't need to.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
Worry about Tooton since Tooton and Atn run that same
formation in anything.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Practically, the Jags said we're.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Going to run these plays, and that's the runnings backs
they have for their team.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
That's right, that's right, yeah, all right, and uh you
want to hear my lineup? All right? We got sears
fields Cook, Henry Brown, Judy Wilson, Johnson, the other Brown,
Hollywood Brown, and the Bears defense. I think that's a play.
(37:13):
And you can mess around with that stuff. If you
don't like Judy or you don't like, you know, Johnson,
you could go strange you don't like Hollywood Brown. But
I like that line up right there.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Yeah, I love it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
So let's give him a fourth line up and then
we'll get out of here, because this would be great.
We're about thirty seven quarterback, must own quarterback. What are
we doing for our for our ultra contrarian together lineup?
We go Rogers, Lawrence Fields.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
Let's go Rogers. Let's go Rogers.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, all right, Rogers. Running back Henry. You want to
Henry Henry? All right, you pick one. I'm picking. You
know I'm picking Kyern Williams. All right, all right, receiver, go.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
Hollywood Brown, Metcalf, pair Metcalf with Rogers.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Okay, got I got Metcalf perfect and Hollywood Brown got it?
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Okay, Well, as soon as I get to him, there
he is fifty all right, wide receiver. You know I'm
gonna say pooka.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
You know I'm gonna say poa but I know I
can't say, Pooka, We're gonna flip this script. Okay, uh
uh uh oh, let's throw Jerry Judy in.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Let's throw Jerry Judy in.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Okay, that's gonna leave us a lot of money at flex,
which I like.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
That's why.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
So tight end, do you want to just roll down
to Do you want to just roll down to strange again?
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Or do you want to jump the train.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
And go with tongs Let's go strange?
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Okay, I do want to say this.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
I was looking at the little things and Jertavias Sanders
in for Carolina.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
It was kind of worky last week Arizona. They had that.
They got it.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
They didn't get torched, but they did give up I
think it was four or five targets to the tight end,
to the tight end. I can't let me just go
look at this real quick. Okay, Cardinals right here, boom,
all right? They played they played New Orleans. They gave
up all that to Johnson. So I was all I
was kind of looking at since standards had four targets
(39:19):
last week, Johnson got twelve targets, like you said, against
the Cardinals last week.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
If the Cardinals, if the car.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
If Sanders at thirty one hundred would get six or
seven targets, which I think is hard, then I would
like that pick.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
But I think that's a sway, and I think he's
gonna be like one percent owned. But who do you
like overall at tight end around that age? Anyway?
Speaker 4 (39:44):
You know, we could go Johnson or Strange or kin
Kaid at thirty seven hundred if you wanted. You know,
that's against the Jets. Kinkaid's probably gonna score or he's
gonna do well. So any of those I really like.
But purposes this line, let's let's keep it a strange.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Let's keep you it strange, all right, all right, because
if this was like the fields in Wilson, I would
be like, oh okay, yeah, that makes sense. All right,
let's do strange, all right. Let's do the defense real quick.
What defense do you want to throw in there? What
do you think you just want to do up a
little bit?
Speaker 4 (40:19):
It depends what we're gonna do in flex, that's the
question here, because if we do bears, it leaves us
a little more room for flex, but depends you want
to play flex, because we would be sure one hundred
dollars to get Nakula on DraftKings, for example, we'd have
to go McCaffrey, Gibbs, Neighbors, Saint Brown in that area.
So if you want to go up, we could and
(40:39):
then go one of those guys that's up to you.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Well think, I mean if we did, if we did Nakua,
we would be looking at Jets, Titans, Carolina or the Browns.
And and the thing is is, I know each what
the only team that has a chance of keeping it
low would probably be the Jets, and I don't think
they're keeping it low, So I don't even like that.
Speaker 4 (41:02):
Keep the Bears or go up? Do you like McCaffrey
in Flux? Do you like gibbs Neighbors and he knows
the guys Saint Brown for Detroit? Because depending how it
low you go, depends how.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
You go up on Dee, So I think McCaffrey might
be the play. So let's let's let's go McCaffrey. That
gives us to.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
Your album DK right there, Rogers, Henry Frown, Judy metcalf Strange, McCaffrey, Bears.
See how the easy people you can make a lineup
like that? Just take our information fill in the blanks.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
That's what's up, man, Steve. Another great show, another fire show.
Now I'm gonna go kick some ass tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Thank you for coming on.
Speaker 4 (41:47):
Shout out to my jam, your duke. So hope they're
gonna win this week, let down last week the open.
That's okay, all right.
Speaker 1 (41:53):

thanks for stopping by the office.
