Oh?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
I'm not too bad man? How about yourself?
Speaker 4 (00:37):
I'm doing good. Another crazy work week for us.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
We have nothing and anything to talk about it all
until Thursday, so we could talk a little bit about whatever.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
I just wanted to catch up, man, but I do.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
This is why I wanted to actually make it a
second podcast, because I rolled eighteen minutes alone on the
Fight Review run alone the soup can of the weed.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
Alter Walker, Dude, I like that.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I like I like to do segment. I like to
do segment.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
Ah, yeah to both both.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I guess, so only like three legs of the parlay
of pain, haye.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
But that's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
The parlay of pain isn't It's supposed to be a low, low,
low chance of hitting, so that's all.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
But I would love to get a soup sponsor for
soup cana the week.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
That would be really awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, I can reach out toix Campbell's soup or Progresso.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Why don't you know who mixed cup of noodles?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, they need to come back, dude, we had a
couple of noodles. Was so nineteen seventy, Like, I don't
even eat that anymore. It's like that other stuff too.
It's the cream of mushroom out of the packet. I
love that ship. Do you do you like creama mushroom?
Speaker 3 (02:01):
No, not at all. I don't.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
I don't like mushroom.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
I don't like mushrooms. I don't eat mushrooms.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
That's why. That's the whole thing. It just that gives that.
Do you eat it in a green bean casserole?
Speaker 3 (02:15):
I don't like green bean castrole.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Either, aude, So you won't even do the same the
cream of chicken or cream of celery I mean in
uh and uh?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
What is that like to noodle casserole? Maybe?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, okay, okay, so you have oh man, I ain't
no chicken some to no noodle castle roll.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
My mom used to make that all the time.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
That was one of her her main dishes was tuna
noodle casserole.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
And it was always spaghetti, just like she would make
a bowl. I totally disappeared when I made a bowl.
That was amazing.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
But anyway, she would make a bowl and my brother
would eat half the bowl half the bowls. Dude, I'm
telling you, this bowl was about as big as meat.
And and that's spagetti.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
It took.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
I mean when when I when I make pasta, I
make a lot also.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
So it's so easy. You just put the one thing
in and you're like, you're like, oh all right, then
we're escalated here.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
You gotta start adding water to the spaghetti sauce because
you need more sauce.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I always bet I make comade sauce.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Man, Oh you do.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I try to get Chrissy doing that. She's done it
a lot more. She always grabs like the hunts or
something though or whatever, and then she'll like pepper it
up and simmer it in the green papers and onions.
So she does use a simmer technique on that. But
I mean she does use crust tomatoes and tomato paste
if it's available or it needs to be used by them. Yeah,
(03:52):
So what is one of your favorite foods growing up?
Speaker 4 (03:55):
What is like I mean, it doesn't have one day.
It could be something another day.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
But like, oh man, growing up, growing up, we were poor.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
So I ate a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches, a
lot of grilled cheese.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
It was tomato sandwiches here with no bread, tomato and mayonnaise.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Your hand was wet.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
No, I didn't even know. Like back in the day.
I remember my friends was like, hey.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
You dropped your food stamp and I was like what.
I didn't know what a food stamp was. So I
looked down and yeah, all laughing at me. And then
I went home and I was like, Dad, what's a
food stamp?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
And he goes, Bobby, we're on food stamps right now,
and he showed me. At the time, American Meters had
laid off my dad and a lot of other people
for like three years. Three years they were laid off,
and then so like he started. That's how he does
all the janitor jobs now and he still does them.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
But he was doing that while he was off getting
food stamps.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
I remember one time they we were so poor, they
had a news I'm not lying, this is crazy as shit.
They had a news crew come and interview us while
we were being poor, and I was like, well, what
the hell. So like they were like, so to distract
me and my brother, they were like, hey, put Predit
(05:20):
King together.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Because I was showing him a Transformers. I was like, oh,
I'll get the Transformers and yeah King. So we ended
up and that's that's what they filmed.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
They filmed us putting Credit King together while talking to
my dad and he talked about it. Soon after Singer
I think made the purchase, and then there was another
purchase or two.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
Eventually they ended.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Up shutting down around like twenty ten and just paid
everybody out. All the retirement was all paid out. Yeah,
and the life insurance was paid out too. They didn't
want no ties to anybody.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
It was wow, dude. So yeah, that was that was it.
But you know, I think it really makes us who
we are today.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
It makes this fight harder for about It's it's what
I feel has made the fight.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Club up paying successful. How do you feel about that?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
I agree? Man? I agree.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
I mean when I when I started training boxing the
gym the gym was free. We just uh the kids
that didn't have money, we had to help clean the gym.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, well yep, yeah, you hear about that all the time,
and uh, I hear a lot about that. That's why
that's what TKO is actually about. You know, we started
out in the Trinity Center ear in Pennsylvania and in
a seller as an add on to the boxing from
that and then or something like that. I'm you know
at this age, I was like four or five or
(06:43):
something like that. Like these were men at that age,
So you know, I don't know really what's going on,
but I know that there was practically it was a
free after school program to keep the kids off the street.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
So that's where it is, and that's where he developed.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
The TKO brand and TKO Eerie and then went for
there and so that's kind of where it led.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
So you know, that's good that they have a lot
of stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
What I mean, outside life being crazy, do you train
every once in a while, I.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
Mean, do you go to the gym at all?
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Like?
Speaker 4 (07:15):
I guess I never.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
I mean, it'll work.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
I work out here and there, but I do nothing
but lift stuff at work all day. So I mean
that keeps me a ship, keeps me a ship. I
mean I have I have a heavy bag, I just don't.
My hands are brittled from from fighting, so I don't
really I don't really hit the heavy bag too much.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Yeah, I mean I can understand that that's that's not
a big deal.
Speaker 4 (07:41):
I mean things happen, and you know like that that
that there's like times when like I got my hands.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Or sore and I'm like, ah, all right, well let's
go today, Rob.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
You know, like you got to get into that. So
I kind of know that and stuff.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Well, I mean, if you look at my fingers, they're
all crippled. I I boxer fractures all through my hands.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Man.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
You know, I guess I haven't I haven't like really
got that far or something like that. Like I guess
my I guess my screen is just messing up with
it anyway.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
You can't really see it, but you know, that's kind
of where it was. But I think that's what it is.
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Man, Like growing up, I gotta say grilled cheese too.
I love that tomato Tomatomeo sandwiches. That was always something
I remember getting the government cheese making those grilled cheese sandwiches.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Get get get that.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
I still you know, that's that's why I think that
like when I go places, I'm fine with just a
fago or something like an rc cola. Like it's just
people that that can't have faked stuff. And I'm the
guy that just grew up on fake stuff, So anything
else it's like it's like it's it's like an acquired taste.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
But I'm used to just sucky stuff all the time.
What about you?
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yeah, I mean do you remember the generic isle in
the grocery stores.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Everything was black and white and it said what it
was on the front. That was our cupboard. That was
our that was our cupboard, that was our that was
my refrigerator. Grown up, you can.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Line it up and you have that stripe going right
down your cupboard, be like.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Look at that.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I just just said what it was, white label, black
lettering corone. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Yeah, I see that stuff come through all the time,
because you know where I work a lot of those
people go to the food banks, so they don't they'll
put some on this donation table.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
I grabbed some.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
I I someone threw up some David uh doy'll pickle.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Sunflower seeds. There it is. I don't know why I
was escaping me, but yeah, I was like what I
just grabbed those bad boys to go home. What d
you a whole bag of boom chicken chicken popcorn? Big bag.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I was like, I'll take it, take it.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I know the other day they threw out a half
thing of ramen noodle chicken.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
I'm just like, whatever, I'm gonna take it.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
So I cooked me up ramen noodle yesterday actually, and
that was a little hardable I did accomplishment. I just
put it in the water, walked away, came back, mixed it,
walked away for a bit and it was still warm.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
You know. I had the stuff at it and I
just smashed it real quick got back to work.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
So I was just like, great, But yeah, that's why
I wanted to, you know, call it and separate it out.
So now to being a podcaster, because you're technically a podcaster,
you're not a sidekick. Just because you don't hit record
(10:52):
doesn't mean that you don't get you what you couldn't
get a.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
Recording of this. Oh and to play with do it
food your own dad.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
I'm comfortable. I'm comfortable with being falcon to Captain America.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Man, Uh, how what's the most should Damn?
Speaker 4 (11:08):
I'm saying too much and I need to stop that.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
What's the most change that you've experienced, like other than
like confidence or anything.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
What's been some of.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
The changes in yourself that you've noticed.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
From doing this mm hmm ah. I'm more comfortable on camera.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
I hate I hate getting my picture taken, and I
hate I hate being on camera.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
See there you go, there you go, you know. And
and some people that may not always watch a lot.
I mean, people mostly are watching the live videos, but
a lot of people just get the audio recording and
they listen to the audio recording, and that's kind of
what happens.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
So sometimes people don't see us some people. Sometimes people do.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
And when my camera can keep up with I don't
even know what's going on with this anymore. With this,
I hate the whole fact that I just be cutting out.
I know that's a whole ram issue. So I know
that something is somewhere in background, running in the back
of things, and.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
I'm just like that stuff drives me out. But I
was like, I ain't got time to play with all that.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
I just tried to put out these podcasts. We've tried
to put out the content, you know, and I've seen
that in you. I've seen the confidence, I've seen you
come on you know, I think you step you you
do speak up a little more, like, dude, I was dead.
I was dead when you was like, I ain't get
to pick my pick. Yeah, I was just like, yeah,
(12:25):
I got so stuck, like in the in the flow
of the show.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
In the moment, yeah, hold on.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
But it was cool and you know that whole moment
that was really fun.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
What I liked about because you were like, hey, from
a karate's effective, how would you stop that?
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Like you asked me that. I was like, yeah. When
I was listening to it back, I was like, you.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Know, I answered it then, but it caught me off
guard but at the same time but not off guard.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
But then when I was listening to what I heard.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
That and it was solid because I actually extended a
lot of people think wonder boy Thompson won that fight.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
I think you pissed that bon from pushed him.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah, I mean I think he won.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Mhm.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
I mean he did a lot, and I just for
for something. I'm not gonna even worry.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
About a lot of cage pushing.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
I think people are exaggerating, but I think that Bond
Film did control enough of him and and maybe he
blocked a lot of his normal shots. Yeah, that's a
lot because to be able to block Wonder Boy strikes,
he's gonna get summed through.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
But that's still an amazing feat. So I guess.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I mean he rocked him twice. He rocked him in
the second and the third round.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Yeah, a lot of people think wonder Boy won the
second and third.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
That's what I say.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
That's what I yeah, I just you know, And and
maybe maybe the lake cut got a little bit. Maybe
that was it.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
And and that that lake cut, that's another thing. That's
something that could happen to me in a point fight,
Like literally we throw kicks at each other like that.
So I mean, one time I watched it happen, uh
Jada Jada kit she I don't know who she hit,
but it was so big, it was huge.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
They actually popped it. But nobody really had had a knife.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
So this dude is back there with this huge like
Japanese knives. Like it's like it's not the sig, it's
not a sigh, but it was like the little knife thing.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
And he comes out with this thing and he's like
holding it like this, and.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
I'm like, I'm cool with watching that, but I don't
need to see that let's go. Yeah, but apparently they
popped it and uh, you know, got it all soaked
up and and fun.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Fun crazy shit like that. Dude, that's just wild.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
But yeah, I've had I've had looms like on my
on my eyebrows.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
I bet I haven't had too many of those, not
too many black eyes.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Yes, I've had a few, yes and lips yes, ming
ming When I thought that that.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
When I did the exhibition match, we were supposed to
not be hitting in the face.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Dude railed off and hit me in the face.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
But that's because I didn't hear the dude say go,
and him being a smarter, you know, faster fighter, just
recognized it and went. So that was probably the most split.
But I had someone take a chunk out of my
lip about a month ago.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
About a month ago, it.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Was it was all right, whatever it happens, that's what
that's what we do with the whole fights thing. So
did you watch back the Vaulter Walker post game or
post fight interview? Bro?
Speaker 3 (15:40):
I did not. I did not.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Watch it, dude.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Honestly, if I wanted to out and pull it up
right now and you make you watch it, bro, he's
just screaming dumb ass shit.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
I ain't even He's like, and it just goes on, dude, dude,
on and on.
Speaker 5 (16:01):
He's like a a and I was like, what does
Actually the speech lasts longer than the fight, because dude,
you just go watch that fight, right, So Walter Walker
literally runs after.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Him like a fatman chasing cake. I'm not lying, like,
and I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
I didn't want to offend anybody out there, but I'm
not lying. He is chasing him with his hands out. Dude.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
He throws this punch from in the middle of the
ring and goes carrying it through and the lady goes
I don't know why he threw a punch from so
far away.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
But somehow it worked.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
He kind of got him on the cage and then
he like did a couple of things and then did
the leg drop flip and got him wrapped up.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
Dude. Yeah, I was dead, dude.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
It was just it was that was that was that
was the heel hook, right, he got the.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Hel Yeah three times now, three times.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
I hate. I hate those guys that just jump at
your leg. Yeah, I hate.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
That's why I point by and I don't do any
of that mma stuff.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
It sounds fun. I would.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
I would only probably do kickboxing, and even at amateur kickboxing,
which isn't too bad, you're only allowed one knee, so
you can't do successive knees and you have to there's
like sometimes you was like even continuous, you have.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
To follow up every three punches with a kicker. You
have to break it up.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
There has to be a break and they want another strike,
so they want you to like keep kneeing somebody down
or something like that.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
So I mean, if this stuff was around when I
was younger, I would have done it, But I would
I don't remember it being around.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Well, dude, it it was found it in Pittsburgh, like
the Viola family that does the Kuma te some ties
with that.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
I was seventy six or something, seventy eight at all.
Can't hold me to a people can't hold me to it.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
I mean when I was when I was younger, I
just concentrated on boxing and football.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
That's it.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Yeah, that was for me.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
It was standing in my backyard with a shield and
a sword, swinging away and trying to figure out how
to fight with a shield and a sword because that's
effective in real life.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
And you're and you were a kid, and you were
a kid.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
Kids being weird like me.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Now they know the fact that I still own that shield.
I made that shield in seventh grade. Mister Rothstein was
the worst teacher at that point, the guy from the
Evil Genius movie, the documentary about the pizza bomber.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
So you know, yeah, that's guys, watched that. Just watched.
My whole family like up in that we did.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
We did watch it. We did watch it.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
It's funny how much my grandma's up in there just
laughing and she's just talking. She's like, Oh, that's just
who they are. And everybody's just like, this is some
old lady just talking. I'm like, bro, she's telling you
who they are.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
Yeah, funny. It was so good, But like this was
this was a fun fight.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
I kind of feel like maybe I should have pulled
out on that last parlay. I should have just took
my eleven wins, pulled out, got the green screen, flashed
it up and be like, look, I cashed out. But
I thought that with with where I was at DFS wise,
I didn't need to where I ended up the next day,
(19:44):
which was it was sad, so on DraftKings.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
I was literally twenty points.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
From five thousand dollars twenty Wow, that's that's insane.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
And that's what you would if you would have picked,
If you would have picked Derek Lewis, like I said,
you would have been around Adham.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
You haven't. I had.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
The difference would have been so the difference was Garcia
not finishing.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
If I would.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Have played you see, I probably I couldn't have fixed
Sharier because they put Scherer at eighty nine.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
So I had eighty four hundred for Garcia.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
So under that that wasn't I already had Matthews because
she'd he got taped.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
So I already had most of those people.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
There wasn't really the only thing I could have did,
and I Derek Lewis, So I had Lewis, Walter Walker, Tuktokas.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
And you know that that's that's kind of the way
it goes.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
Yeahko sue Canada the week, Canada Week.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
That's my god, dude, it just sounded good.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
He only I edged out Walter Walker in my opinion,
because a lot of people didn't think Tuco Toukos was
gonna do that. Both guys were actually a little owned
more in the DFS slate. But who wasn't owned was
actually one of the high scoring fighters was Mike Davis.
I got him around twenty to twenty five percent. When
(21:08):
for UFC, especially like a twelve fight card that was
I'll say that the ownership total average was probably around
a thirty thirty five. So to get somebody like that,
there's somebody else too. I saw that I I had
in one of the contests, it was like eighteen percent.
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
I want to want to say it was Tucos. I
want to say that it maybe was Goot see you.
Maybe it was the Shari Yar play.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
I wouldn't have to pull it up. But I'm not
gonna waste any time like that because this show and
me about that.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
But that was it.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
That ended up being one of the better plays for me.
But then it was just like, that's what makes UFC difference.
It doesn't matter if you score all this, it matters
how you finish.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Yeah, that's that's the key, right, I agree?
Speaker 3 (21:53):
I agree?
Speaker 2 (21:55):
So, so what what has been outside of the confidence
and talking and with that, what part of the show
do you like? Do you like the flow? Do you
like where we just cover a certain amount of fights.
I know you like to cover more, but I try
to keep it to a minimum because I want to
focus on those fights.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
What do you feel?
Speaker 3 (22:20):
No matter what we do, I enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I like the dynamic basically how I break down the
fights and then you break down the bets and then
we both kind of shoot the shit about the fight.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
So yeah, yeah, you know, I want to say that's
not cliche.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
It's definitely not cliche because we are definitely two dudes
that are different than anybody else. But at the same time,
it's kind of like that I look at a lot
of the people. I look at Jacob from We Want
Picks and how he just has that kind of like
crazy wildness like me, and he just goes railing off
the rails and then I see where like like the
(23:01):
one day, Angela was talking about his teenage daughter having
a sleepover and he was like, I was so tired.
I went to bed and then I woke up and
these girls were still up. They were still up, and
he was trying to record it. He was like, so
I had to go up and make them make breakfast,
and they finally fell asleep so I could record this
video and I'm like, I'm like, dude, this dude is
(23:23):
in it. He's recorded at seven am in the morning.
I'm like, I couldn't even do it function or anything
at that point, especially after how late some of these
UFC fights then, right, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
I have trouble staying away from him.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
I've noticed that a little bit.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I think the one night I fell asleep because you
were already asleep and you set.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
Back a message, I was like, I there it is.
I was like, yeah, we're sleeping now.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
But that was that's the fun part, and that's what
I try to stress to people that I think that's
what makes the UFC unique. It's almost like a showdown
slate for football where you only have so many people,
and because you only have so many fights, when you
have twelve fighters twelve fights, you practically have twenty four fighters.
(24:09):
That's twenty four people you have to get right and
you can automatically count out a lot of them. And
I've brought that up recently. I said this on my
article and I don't know if you caught it, but
since we started now as of the past two weeks
and the new draft Kings lineups are out again, I'm
(24:30):
pretty sure they have six fighters in the nine thousands.
I want to say only three are under six thousand.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
They're really trying to tighten, tighten.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
I'm not gonna say it's just because of us. It's
because of people like us. We want picks. The entire
crew Bet Sam, of course, artam in them. There's this
guy that has lock of the Week or that's Jacob's
lock of the week.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
I think that just dropped.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
And there's just a bunch of other people, you know,
when I start out with Burt and there's this this other
guy one eighty three. I just love watching a lot
of their content, and then you know, going over the
fight and watching a lot of the fights myself and just.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
Seeing if it lines up again. Me being a rookie.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Now, I'm not like I've said this before where I've
seen these fighters like, I'm already looking at the next
the next card, even though I've not watched the UFC.
I used to tune in for Max Holloway fights. I
know who Dustin Poitier is, right, so I know Paulo
Costa because of the X so I see what he is.
(25:34):
But Rolling Coppler, I know he's good and I know
that I've seen a couple of videos of him.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
So and how many times have we bet on Kevin Holland?
Speaker 3 (25:45):
I mean he fights four times a year. Man, he
fights every three months.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
It's like every three weeks. He just fought like three weeks.
I swear like I can't even it's probably on a
card right here, you know. Yeah, I got cards, papers
and all this stuff.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
I think it was in May that he fought.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
He fought in May, oh, man, I know that ever
since the one time it was the it was the
Gutter Nelson fight. Ever since he beat Governor Nelson, I'd
bet on him since and he's just come through for me.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Yeah. I mean when he shows up, he shows up.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
But when when he doesn't, when he doesn't feel like fighting,
he gets beat up.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah, So I like his I like the matchup with
Jander Rodriguez dan Inge of course against Bertuccio Pull.
Speaker 4 (26:33):
You know you wanted to do, you wanted to do
for the four fights. So the Michael Johnson versus Daniel.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Zula Houber zell Uber is gonna smoke him. But Johnson
is good. And I was looking at some of the
DFS lineups and guess who fell into that DFS lineup.
I had money left over, and the first guy for
that amount of money was Michael Johnson.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
When he sides to train, he's a he's a good fighter,
he really is. And he took Justin Gatgee to his limit.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm not gonna deny that. He's fucks. He's
fucked some good fighters. He's been around for a while.
He's been around for a while.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
But you know the fact that Marvin Vittori went from
main eventing to being the under main event of the prelim.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
That's just sad.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
And it's it's it's practically you know, the rematch with
Alan like this is this is gonna be another fun fight.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
We're not gonna even be covering it.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
But he's again one of those guys that you know
isn't gonna get finished. He's gonna be in your DFS
lineup because he's gonna get points, he's gonna be active, he's.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Gonna get takedowns, he's gonna get ground and pound. That's
just the way he fights.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Yeah, and and and for me, that so he's probably
the So I said, Steve Garcia was was the key
last week, and I still believe that his eighty points
for eighty four hundred. I mean, if I'm wrong, Fandue
will tell me I'm wrong, or DraftKings will tell me
I'm wrong when they give me the email. Unlet I
say that your most unique player was this guy and
(28:16):
there was I guess I'm trying to remember who was
eighty two hundred that I had that that I that
I had that was.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Actually on there. This is not Curtis.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Curtis was all right, I want to say, still say
it was Matthews. Matthews eight thousand choking out cheety that fast.
So I will take that back. Garcia won't be it's Matthews.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
It's Matthews.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Is is the was the best play of the week
last week for DFF honestly all around.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
And that's why Matthews, Tucos or Tucos.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, and Walker were three staples in a lot of
my lineups, all four of my lineups on DraftKings.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
And Fandal Cash. So that's that was that was the
crazy part. Seven p.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Fifty one on Fandal, six sixty one on Draft Kings.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
So but speaking of that card man, if they got
Jimmy Krue and Ryan span on the early prelimbs.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah, I know, I got it right in front of me.
I got it right in front of me. I mean,
Carly Judiz is back. Bruno ferrierra he's getting Jackson McVay,
and it feels like they're a lot of people like
Jackson McVeigh, but they Bruno is the most expensive fighter
on draft Kings and I'm like the most expensive fighters
fighting second.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
Yeah, whereas where's Holloway and Poitier are eighty two and
eight thousand. They're raking in the middle.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
I hope that fight ends in a draw. I'm not
gonna lie. They're two They're two of my favorite fighters
ever ever.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
I I can't hate either one of them. Everybody's gonna
be torn on this fight.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Won the other two fights, So for me, everybody's just
gonna be like, well, Max has to win the one.
He doesn't have to win the one. A lot of
people that have fought me had lost to me, A
lot to haven't won that one, so it doesn't have
to happen.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
But do you think, I mean, I know.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
That we're gonna do a little fight breakdown, so I guess,
you know, outside of talking and everything, just catching up doing.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
This thing Yo, do you think that Pourier can can
clone that?
Speaker 3 (30:32):
I think Max wants this one. I think Max wants
to get him back.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
You figure he took he took Max's undefeated streak, He
took Max's fourteen or thirteen win.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Win thirteen fight winning streak. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Now Max wants to take his retirement fight just to
pay him back for it.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
Yeah, yeah, that's it, I really do. But here's another
thing too.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
Max has gotten a lot better since then, and I
know Poer's always gonna be that guy.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
He just reminds me of.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Of like I don't want to say Michael Chandler without
people getting pissed. He's like Michael Chandler. He's like that
that dude that.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Can do good Michael Taylor, but.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
But good Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. I wasn't
trying to Chandler too many props.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
He's Michael Chandler, but he can fight.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Yes, yes, yes, he could do it all and and
that's what makes it good. And this card is you've
got some you got some smoking's about to happen when
you got dude, I was about to say this fugget fight,
cause you know, but then you were like no, i'
doing it, and so I was like, fuck it, but ha.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
And you can go check it that guy's day.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
I was like, damn, I want to do it, but
he's gonna get smoked by Islam Duda Thov Doulatov, So
there's no reason to cover that fight.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
Doulatov will be in my DFS plays.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Look, I'm just giving out small little plays and we're
just having fun, just talking some wild stuff.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
But dude, it's gotier.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Oh oh dude, he's going to smoke Robert Valentine.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
But Robert Valentine Frey does actually put up really good fights.
I love that as well too.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
You got the Francisco Prado Nikolai Vera ten knockoff.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
I think I said it. I think I said it,
So again, I do agree with you.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Jimmy Krut when I saw him was on this fight
card and I thought about us, me making fun of him.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
That was the last time we were out. I go,
oh boy, here we go. I'm getting Jimmy Kruit in
my face and here we get So I like it.
I like it. It's a good card.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Hey did you see Bryce Mitchell jop down to vantam weight.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Here's the thing, did you see that.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
They just redesigned the whole thing and they just ranked him.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Yeah, and he drop down to vantamweight.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Because he can't he can't beat anybody, and uh, what
was it a featherweight.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
After he got he got his soul taken, that was
that was it.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
He just had to drop.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
Yeah. But now he has to deal with Peter Like
people like Peter Yan, Yeah, who could punch just as
hard as featherweights.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
And and you think it's Peter Yan isn't going to
be like, oh, I'm gonna play with you and wrap
you up and finally choke you out upside down. Yeah,
is gonna knock you the fuck out.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
And he's fighting not he's fighting next week too.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Yeah, there's so many great fights. I think it's the
second week or first week in September.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
Maybe it's Labor Day weekend if there's.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
An off week for the USC, But we don't have
an off week for a while for as of right now,
so we have a lot of great fights coming up.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
I could be wrong, but I had twenty twenty sixth
and then we got one on August.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
Second, yep, yep, yep.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
And then August ninth. In August sixteenth.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
Yeah, yeah, then August twenty third, and then September then
September seventh, so yeah, the week.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
Of the second yep, yep, yep. So it is. It's
that Labor Day weekend, so they're taking up. I like that.
That's nice. That'll be our next break.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
That's why we should do a podcast like this, just
looking forward and just talking shit and just doing that.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Man, you know, go on, I said, I'm in.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
I know, well by then we'll have football to cover.
We'll have football to cover, so that'll that'll be that'll
be fun, you know, just start talking football and stuff.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
So I don't I didn't. I don't think I told you.
Maybe I did. I'm gonna be on the Eerie Radio
next week. Nice, well, thirtieth thirtieth. So I've been talking
to guys. His name is Sam, and he owns a
business here, and.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
He would he does this show called the Catania Crawlinicles
on iHeartRadio Live every second and fourth Wednesday on Rocket.
I think it airs, yeah, it's Rocket, And so he
asked me. He we just walked by and me and
him talked a couple of times, and I was like.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
Yeah, fantasy football, and he's like, well, bro, And I
was like, yeah, I work for doctor Roto, you know,
and he's like, well wait a minute. So me and
him started talking and.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
He I ended up giving him some help and he
ended up getting his wife's team and him to the
to the championship where he beat his wife. But they
took all the money. So he offered me, buddy, and
I told him, I was like, bro, do want you money? Yeah, like,
just just always remember who I am and.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
Who I work for, doctor Roto. Yeah, and he goes.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
And so we talked a couple of times after that,
and you know, we talked about how Erie's always behind
the times, how it feels like when Erie tries to
update itself it takes five steps back, going away from manufacturing,
going into tourism. They never thought tourism would kill a
lot of the businesses during winter. Yeah, it was very
long in Erie. So you know, that was that was
(36:29):
a big, big, big part of that. And for me
now it's like to go forward and to keep going
on with that, it's it's just great.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
So I mean, what do you think, man, I mean
you're going with that.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
I think it's a great opportunity for you. I think
you should man, it's a great opportunity.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
I wanted to do it this week before we go
up to Buffalo next week and do kick Kicks for Hunger,
which is one of dojo's that's.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
Doing the m A tour. At that little part of
that t k.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
O eerie and I got our guy Nick Kine is
running with his family. They're they're out of Batavia, New York,
and they they're doing their They had that they've created
this tournament series, and so one of the people.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
Were like, hey, let's do a Kicking for Hunger.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
So there's gonna be judge training that day and then
eventually and then everybody's gonna bring your can of food and.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
At the end we're gonna all spar well.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
The same day of the summer she is happening in Pittsburgh,
so we could have went there. I would have fought
Robert again. So it was like, it's that's fun. I
would have thought probably Mark. I know Mark wants some
I know he listens to this podcast.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
He's he's definitely gonna want more. But at the same time,
I I I know, I I know that they just
went to a tournament over this weekend.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
But the thing is is I'm just training hard when
I go away from tournaments. This is kind of like
where I'm getting a lot of that hard work in.
So we're gonna go do that the kicking for Hunter,
and then I get to go on. I was really
trying to post that because you know, Tko Eerie going
up the Buffalo to help a cause for karate using karate.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
And things like that.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
But I just think it's gonna be really awesome to
talk and I think this podcast is gonna be a
lot of fantasy football.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
But I'm gonna bring up the Fight Club of Pain, man.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
I mean, and we get to talk to people in
Ohio this year.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Yes, yes, yes, So when we get that shirt made
and we go to the Fantasy Football Expo with our
UFC shirts, we are going to.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Separate the back. I'm probably gonna put the back of
this the back of this on it. I guess I
don't have to.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
I could just do the Fight Club of Pain on
the front, but I always think that a shirt looks
naked if it doesn't have a back, so I might
just do the back on this one, which if you've
never saw the back, it says always.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
Remember to bring the pain.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
So it has a microphone and stuff, but it just
really fits the back.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
So that'll be a fun one.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
But maybe maybe if it just gets the shirt done
faster and once we get our Now that I have
the logo, I'll be able to upload that logo. Once
I get the transparency back on it, I'll upload that
to the tea public so that a lot of our
fans can go out and buy that shirt.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
So that's nice.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Yeah, I mean, but right now, honestly, my buddy is Dave.
He they have a press, so he goes, we can
make coffee mugs, we can make.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
All this stuff.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
I was like, oh, and I'd rather get in the
money and then at least shave off the top and
then get some sales ourselves. Yeah. Also, we're picking up
an affiliate. Yeah, I was waiting.
Speaker 4 (39:54):
I was waiting. I was waiting to tell you that.
So and this is it's negative terms coffee.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
You've had their coffee, so you can back them up
as well too, So negets charm.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Coffee is gonna come on. We're gonna get a special code.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
People are gonna be able to use that code buy
the coffee and give us the show credit to that way,
you know, stick back. But also it's a coffee I
believe in. It's a coffee that I drink, It's a
coffee that I buy.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
It's coffee.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
I sold coffee for over five years and I was
the best at it.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
And I don't care what anybody says. It milk me coffee.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
I turned in so many upsale sheets. It only shows
a thing I can sell this.
Speaker 4 (40:30):
But to be part of that, to have them come on.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
He's been asking for a long time, but I haven't
really wanted to, Like I didn't want to feel like
I didn't want to charge him or something. Yeah, I
think that you know, commission getting the code, making a
little bit of chedder for the podcast so that we
can maybe get guess that might cost money on here.
Then that I think that makes the better show overall.
(40:54):
So yeah, that's all the new stuff.
Speaker 4 (40:56):
On the radio. Got an affiliate now, all right?
Speaker 2 (41:03):
It is it is? So how do you feel about that?
We wants picks things.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
I like it, I mean I like it.
Speaker 4 (41:10):
Yeah, Yeah, it's gonna be very interesting. I think that
that's kind of why I want you on to.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
I mean, I know schedules can be crazy and they
probably recording a podcast right now, I don't know, maybe not,
but when we get together it i'd be a Tuesday.
I told him I can do Tuesdays and weekends, so
you know, when he gets back to me, we'll we'll
figure that out. But I just think it'll just be
a hell of a podcast. And I want it to
be like this. I don't want to just have to
(41:38):
review a card. If we're gonna review a card, let's
go on their show. Let's go on their show.
Speaker 4 (41:43):
Fuck it. But at the same time, oh boy, I
think I just broke the PG thirteen barrier. Yeah, I
don know this was gonna but that.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
But that's that's the fun part about it is, you know,
we are held with all those constraints all the time
that it's nice to take a step back and actually
do an explicit podcast and not the explicit beat because
we're talking about people's getting.
Speaker 4 (42:10):
Their face beat.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
In explicit being that we might have said the F
bomber once or twice.
Speaker 3 (42:15):
Well, yeah, I'm good for that too. I'm good for
it too.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
It's just so much fun, man, and I'm happy about it.
So like shirts like, so much is happening in such
a little time, and that's what I want.
Speaker 4 (42:31):
That's how you create a brand.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
That's what you do, and you find the formule you
And I've always thought podcasting is best done with friends.
I agree, you know, without and you could have did
a podcast with anybody else in this world.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
But I think that when you do it with.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
Somebody that you're already close to and you kind of
know them and their mannerisms and things like that, you
can talk easily easy about the UFC stuff and all
that other stuff because you aerien, you go to the.
Speaker 4 (43:01):
Point fights, you see what happened, so you know a lot.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
I mean, plus I I did fight, and I mean
that's a big thing.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
You still fight, so I pick up things that normal
people don't like, the fighting styles and like how to.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
Certain defenses that people use.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
It's just it's just something that I enjoyed watching and
now I enjoy talking about it.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Yeah, And that's funny because like you said, you're like,
oh football, I'm probably not the best.
Speaker 4 (43:35):
I know my Steelers, but yeah, y'all black.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
But at the same time, it's not a podcast of yeah,
y'all black am engine.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
So you do, you do all that.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
But UFC is the one thing that you engage the
most thing, And like I said, I didn't know that
in when the football season ended. To get to this
point and to get to what we do now, it's
it's second nature. It's so fun. That's what I That's
what I love about it.
Speaker 4 (44:05):
What do you what do you?
Speaker 2 (44:06):
What are some other feelings that you think that would
be fun to add to the show in the future.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
I like the Soup Canada Week. I like the Soup
Canada Week.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
I think we should, uh, I think we should add
that to the fay.
Speaker 4 (44:25):
Okay, okay, all right, at the end of the week.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
And the last two time, last last two, last two podcasts,
I've I've tried to predict the fight of the night.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
Uh huh uh huh. I didn't actually cut that. Who called?
Speaker 3 (44:43):
I didn't. I didn't catch it. I didn't catch it.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
Okay, So if someone wants I hate us, look, we're
still doing research. I already have a lot of my
research done for these fights, of course, so for me,
you know, it's like I had to concentrate on that now,
but normally I see that we share it repul but
I don't even see it. So whatever, that's fun. But yeah,
that's that's what you know. And so as we're looking
(45:08):
for it, let's add that, Let's add sup Canada. Let's
add the Soup Canada the Week to it and keep
it away. That way, I don't have to really run
the review. The review can.
Speaker 4 (45:19):
Add if the Soup Canada the Week ended.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
Up being the Soup Canada the Week, or if he
just ended up being a cold can of soup.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Fight of the Night was Roy vol versus Vaughn.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Uh yeah, let's got that one. And because you.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Nailed that, so was that was UFC? No, that wasn't UFC.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Nashville, right, yeah, you you now that wasn't UFC Nashville.
Speaker 4 (45:49):
That was u.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
UFC three seventeen.
Speaker 4 (45:54):
So you're looking at UFC Nashville.
Speaker 2 (45:56):
Yeah yeah, yeah, look at this, we're just all lot.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
Performance of the Night, Gregory Rodriguez. No, I wasn't it.
Speaker 4 (46:05):
Got it?
Speaker 3 (46:06):
They don't have it up.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
Oh maybe it's maybe it's gonna come out today.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Because this is Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
Yeah, usually usually uh so the Nashville bonuses Morgan, Sherryer
and Nate Land where it was Morgan's fight with Nate
the train that got fighting the night?
Speaker 3 (46:28):
What did I say?
Speaker 2 (46:31):
I thought you saw Steve Garcia and Calvin Katar.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
Yeah, that's the one.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
I said.
Speaker 1 (46:37):
That's it's still and Calvin Calvin Cator got his ass whooped.
Speaker 4 (46:45):
I'm gonna say this right now. I'll say this right now.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
If if Humbar whatever the ref I can't remember his
name off fan Buba whatever is it's the other guys.
If he was the ref for the guitar fight, Quitar
gets Garcia gets that knockout. When he knocked Quitar back
and he rolled back by the cage and started trying
to finish him, that would have been a finish, that would.
Speaker 4 (47:10):
Have been I would have won first place everywhere straight up.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
Yeah, yeah, I agree. I mean Calvin Cater hasn't been
the same since.
Speaker 1 (47:19):
Uh Max Hollway hit him with almost a thousand punches
in a fight.
Speaker 4 (47:23):
So yeah, except one, you know. Yeah, do you agree
with the ending to Lewis and to share it?
Speaker 3 (47:33):
Yes, he was climbing up the cage to get to
stand up.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
Yeah, yep, yep, okay, all.
Speaker 3 (47:39):
Right, stop stop the stop the fight right there.
Speaker 2 (47:43):
Yeah, the ref said if you got to use that
ref is notorious for if you if you use the
cage crawling up, you're done.
Speaker 3 (47:48):
You're done. Yeah, yea yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
If if you can't stand up on your own, you
got to use the cage to climb up.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
You're done.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
Yeah yeah, And you're not supposed to grip the cage anyway.
Speaker 4 (47:57):
I like that. That's nice.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
That was I think that you know that that. Well,
we will add that. We'll have the suit Can.
Speaker 4 (48:04):
Do you want the Suitcanada the Week? Should you or not? Maybe? Well,
this play we can make.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
We can make a bet on it.
Speaker 4 (48:14):
We could do it.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
I mean right now, I mean I already know who's
who's gonna be the sup Can of the weeks worst
performance of the week. Well, I say overcoming sup Can
of the Week. See, I can't give it Toria a
sup Can.
Speaker 4 (48:29):
It would have to. It would be like Michael Johnson.
If Michael Johnson went the distance.
Speaker 3 (48:33):
I'm gonna Michael Johnson.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
It would be Michael Johnson. Michael Johnson would be the
best one. He'd be the Campbell's chunky sup version.
Speaker 4 (48:43):
And it wouldn't be like it wouldn't be like your
surloin and cheese. It would be that old fashioned vegetable.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
Or or we could we could go with the dude
that Jimmy Cruz fighting for Prishino Marca.
Speaker 4 (49:01):
I think it's Braccino.
Speaker 3 (49:02):
I don't know, he might he might get some Canada Week.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Yeah, you know, I'm willing to look at that. Every
so far and from the Fight Teap everything is leaning
towards Jimmy Krup And then that sells me that one
of my lineups might have Braughtino in it.
Speaker 4 (49:21):
I like that. That's that's gonna be fun. You know.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
That's why you're like, you look at this and you're like, looks,
we dropped a couple f bombs. I don't know if
this's going by if they go to the Bringing the
Pain podcast, they go to Bring the Pain on Spreaker
or any of your podcasts listening places you can get
this podcast. You know, we just gave up some stuff
and people are gonna be like, wait minute, what now
(49:46):
if we don't say it.
Speaker 4 (49:47):
That's what I want to do when I do the review.
Speaker 2 (49:49):
Podcasts on Tuesdays, like I've been telling you and saying
it to everybody, I'm giving out the macho pick of
the week.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
What you've talked about, macho man ride the mockule. You know,
I love that button.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
I don't even have to stress anymore in the world
when I first hit that button and I was like,
what what this is that?
Speaker 4 (50:16):
I was like, who is he? Who is he? I
was just going crazy. So all right, I think we're
running up. We're at fifteen minutes. I can't believe I say.
I said, hey, we're just gonna do twenty minutes. And
we just talked about some stupid stuff and just had fun.
It was great, fun podcast to throw into the middle.
Thursday is gonna be fun. We both have a long
(50:37):
day Thursday. Yeah, the drive.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
I mean, if you think you want to do this
tomorrow after I'm done fighting.
Speaker 4 (50:46):
We could do that. We could do the fight club tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
But you know, we can do it later on. We
can do it later on Thursday.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
It's fine, we'll see.
Speaker 2 (50:56):
I mean, I did say seven to eight, so I'm
gonna put it out there and make sure that everybody
knows special start time because me and you were driving
meeting and then.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
Driving back, so of course we can't podcast driving.
Speaker 2 (51:08):
So well, we'll definitely get that done. We'll get it
in the works that everything goes.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
Man.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
I'm just excited. Thank you for you know, coming on
the ride and not being scared and backing out and
sticking with me even after.
Speaker 4 (51:22):
Yeah, I mean you are now you got you got,
you have.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
A voice, stuck stuck now Yeah, this is who is we?
Speaker 4 (51:31):
This is who is we?
Speaker 2 (51:33):
This is who the Fight Club of Pain is. Fun times,
we just try to finish the bets. We try to
find finishes. Every other show, this show, the Fight Club
of Pain show gives you the bets, we give you
the DFS lineups, we give you the place, we give
you with with the article, the five tastics, you get
it all.
Speaker 4 (51:52):
But the one thing I've always wanted to make sure
that the Fight Club of Pain prides itself on is
finding the.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
Finish, breaking down the fighters, the fighters that we're looking at,
seeing what X, what the other fighter can exploit, playing it,
and finding as many positives on both ends so that
no matter what happens, we hedge ourselves perfectly and win.
That's what the true meaning of the Fight Club at
Pain is, and that's what I want us that that's what.
Speaker 4 (52:23):
We're gonna do. We're gonna keep finding.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
These finishes in winning till one day I don't have
a point, change the next day and one day I
don't lose twenty points. Because dude doesn't get a straight
knockout and we win first place for one hundred thousand dollars.
And the fact that I didn't play a damn eight
dollar lineup, which would have.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
I played a lot of three dollar lineups.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
But if I would have played an eight dollar lineup
with that lineup, I probably would have won well three
blah blah blah blah, probably wonted like four or five
one hundred.
Speaker 4 (52:52):
I probably won one thousand dollars on that on the line.
But hey, I didn't play it, so it's money I
don't have.
Speaker 3 (52:58):
But here, yeah, and I don't bet, so.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Yeah, yeah, I bring that up to That's such a
great part of the show is that you don't so
you talk about the fights.
Speaker 4 (53:13):
You keep it, you keep it interesting.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
You show that you don't have money to lose, so
you don't have anything to lose.
Speaker 4 (53:20):
You're just here to talk fights. And that's the best
part about the Fight Coup of Pain.
Speaker 2 (53:24):
That's what I've always said is the biggest message of
the Fight Club of Pain is to talk about the fights,
talk about who's gonna get knocked out and or tapped out,
and have fun while doing it.
Speaker 4 (53:36):
That's what we do.
Speaker 3 (53:37):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
All right, all right, brother, thanks again for coming on
just randomly during the weekday to just catch up and do.
