It's time to get started. Hi. I'm Christy Kemmel of
Brookville House of Worship and my guest today is Nicole
Balls of Mark for Life Ministries. Sig Nicole. Hi, Christy,
how are you doing. I'm good? Thanks for having me today. Oh,
thanks for coming in. I love the word that you're
going to share and I've been excited about that great
(01:13):
so looking forward to that. I know is really big
in your heart and it applies to your ministry. And
all that, so it's wonderful. So today we are talking
about signet rings and the significance of them based on
the Word of God and how this relates to us
in both a spiritual and a practical way. So I'd
like to start by reading from Ephesians chapter one, and
(01:37):
I'm going to skip right to verse three. Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly
places in Christ. And when it says every, it means every, meaning.
God did not hold back his blessings from anybody in
his creation, just as He chose us in him before
(01:58):
the foundation of the world, that we would be wholly
and blameless before him in love. I love that. I
love that God loves us so much. Going into verse five,
he predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through
Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of
(02:21):
his will. So he did it because it was his
pleasure to do it, and he did it because it
was his will to do it. And he knew that
we would fall. When he created us, everything including us,
was perfect, and he knew that we would fall. So
he thought about that before the beginning of time. And
because he requires a sacrifice, he thought of having Jesus
to be our one and only in final sacrifice that
(02:43):
would cleanse us completely of sin for eternity and give
us eternal life. So then going into verse six to
the praise of the glory of His grace with which
he favored us in the beloved meaning, Jesus and God's
grace is the empowerment for us to even get saved,
or even to find him or to turn to him.
(03:05):
He gives us empowerment for the faith that we need.
He gives us empowerment by giving us a purpose and
then helping us live that purpose out. God doesn't have
us do anything on our own except to say yes.
And once we say yes to him, he empowers us
to do everything within his will and his pleasure to
put us on the path of the purpose he wrote
(03:26):
out for us in Psalm one thirty ninety sixteen. He
made a book and a scroll about our purpose there
before we've even thought of, before the beginning of time.
And so he gives us the power to do that,
and it was his pleasure to do that. And then
we go into verse seven. In him, we have redemption
through his blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to
(03:49):
the riches of his grace, which he lavished on us.
And when I read the word lavish in the word,
I think about a paint brush just slopping it up
with me, or even something good, and you know, something
good like cake crossing, like something really wonderful, and he
just like just paints us with it, and it tickles,
and it just it just covers us and runs all
(04:12):
over us. He lavish just grace on us. In others.
There's plenty for all of us. So we're under every blessing,
and he's lavishing grace on us and in all wisdom
and insight. So he gives us all wisdom and insight.
And he made known to us the mystery of his
will according to his good pleasure, which he set forth
(04:35):
in Him, meaning Christ, regarding his plan of the fullness
of the times to bring all things together in Christ.
So he's bringing everything together unity, things in the heavens
and things on the earth. In Him, we also have
obtained an inheritance. And we have to remember this part
(04:57):
of that scripture, because that's important to what Nicole is
about to share, and having been predestined according to the
purpose of Him who works all things in accordance with
the plan of His will to end that we who
were the first to hope in the Christ, would be
to the praise of His glory. So we glorify God
(05:18):
when we hope in Christ. When we believe in Jesus,
we glorify God in that in Him, you also, after
listening to the message of truth, the Gospel of your salvation,
having also believed here it is listen up. You were
sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the Promise,
(05:39):
who is a first installment of our inheritance in regard
to the redemption of God's own possession and to the
praise of His glory. A man. That was verse thirteen
and fourteen. We're going to stop there, And Nicole, in
verse thirteen and fourteen, it was talking about the seal.
(06:00):
Why don't you go ahead and let us in on
some of the things that you have, some revelation that
you have on that. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Well, there was like three different types of seals mentioned
in the word. One was like a like a branding
iron where people would get it real hot and then
they would like stamp the back of their possession.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
They would stamp their like usually their.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Bottom, you know, with their sign their seal, and they
would stamp it and then like so like if your
cattle would get out, they'd be like, oh, that belongs
to Christy, and then you could get your get your
cow back, Yeah, get your cow back, gets your Well,
it belongs to you.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
It denotes that you have ownership.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Right, so whenever God seals us with the Holy Spirit,
he takes ownership of us and he says, you know what,
Christy is mine, Nicole is mine. I'm going to stamp
them with the seal of approval that they are mine
and they belong to me. And you know, we think
(07:11):
about the inheritance that we receive. His inheritance is receiving us.
And that's what he's wanted from the very beginning. That's
the reason why he created man, that's the reason why
he had us, because he wanted relationship and he wanted
us back. And we think about all the great inheritance
that we receive. Well, he receives us back, and that's
(07:33):
what makes him happy. That's what makes him have this
great pleasure that he's talking about here. And then there's
another seal. There's another seal. It's like a cylinder type seal.
And that's what you see with Judah in the scriptures
in Genesis thirty eight, I believe it is, and he
uses that seal and it's just like a wood wooden
(07:57):
or I think they would even use rocks, and they
would carve something in it, like you know, like the
Nike sign or you know, like the Amazon sign, like
you can you don't even have to write Amazon or
Nike on because it's like when you see that sign,
when you see that emblem, you know who it belongs to.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Almost like a homemade stamp. Like as a kid, we
would take a potato and kind of carve that and
then we put it in the ink and then stamp
exactly kind of like that, except it's going down into
maybe a wax or yeah, a wax or celeg that okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Yeah, And it's like when you see it, you know
it like, oh, that's a Nike shoe. But the reason
why they're able to have that Nike shoe is because they.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Bought it and it has authority. So if I take
that mark and put it on my stuff and I
go online and I start selling it with that mark,
they're going to come after me with authority, with legal authority.
Oh yeah, and so you can't use that that's copyrighted,
that's ours, oh right, and it's well known. So I
could go to and beyond CNN fighting it, and everybody
who tunes in is going to say, yeah, but are
(09:05):
you even talking about that's that's obviously their's. Yeah, there's
no question that's there. It's like this is a waste
of everything. They just don't even Yeah, so that authority
is to me, you know.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
And so the coolest thing is is that he uses
his spirit to mark us with that seal.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
He uses his spirit.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
So when we walk into a room, they should say, oh,
they belong to God because of the holy Spirit that
we are sealed with, because all the fruit of the
spirits should come out, the gifts of the spirits should
come out. And they were like, boy, that reminds me
of God. Yes, so they belong to God. The other
one is the signet ring. So the signet ring was
(09:54):
a higher up like Onny King's had it, people of
high authority would have the signet ring, and so the
signet ring would also be stamped into clay or to wax,
and that that they would use it. You know, you
think about like I remember when Jesus said, you know,
with the money. Then they were talking about was you know,
(10:19):
the money, what should we you know, what should we
do with this money?
Speaker 1 (10:21):
And he's like a mess in this up? You're okay,
keep going.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
But like they said, well, well whose pictures on it?
You know, whose pictures on it? And they're like, it's
it has Caesar's picture on well, but let it go
to him.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
That's his right, you know.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Like so what I'm trying to say is like when
the Holy Spirit is evident in your life, they'll know
that we've been sealed in the promised Holy Spirit. And
the cool thing is it said, it's just a deposit.
I can't remember what you're the version you read, but
the deposit of the inheritance. And all I could think
(10:59):
of out was he is just the deposit. How awesome,
how wonderful, magnificent, how crucial it is to live this
life with the Holy Spirit. Yes, and he's just the
deposit of the inheritance. Like that just blows my mind.
And when I was thinking and dwelling on that, God
(11:20):
said to me no ear has heard, you know, the
things that I have prepared for them who love me.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Hey man, that's an excited fire. And I'm like, yeah,
it's just a part of it. Like, yeah, it's to
his glory that he gets us back. He's happy to
do that. It was his pleasure and his will. And
I just want to insert in here. Ephesian's one in
the Passion translation says that the Holy Spirit is given
to us like an engagement ring, as the first installment
(11:50):
of what's coming. He is our hope promise of a
future inheritance which seals us until we have all the
redemption promises and variance, complete freedom, all for the supreme
glory and honor of God. Yes, so now it's sort
of an engagement ring to the inheritance. It's so I
(12:13):
think about that like wearing that ring as if he's
handed it to us and put it upon. It's not
only is the Holy Spirit to our benefit like that,
and he's our comforter. He is a he is he
is an entity. It's not a thought or an idea.
He actually exists and he's here to help us. Yeah,
and so he puts that ring on our finger. So
(12:35):
everywhere we go. We do radiate the glory of God,
like you were saying, like when we walk into a room,
you know, when you first get engaged, you feel like
your ring is so big and you can see it
from a mile away, and everybody comes running, Oh, what happened?
Did you get engaged? Let me see it. We do
radiate that because it's just that joy of the Lord
and that contentment and that peace and that love, all
(12:56):
of those fruits of spirit coming out of us and
radiating out into the world. And so just knowing that
that is actually a down payment or deposit on our
own inheritance. Yeah, and that authority rests upon us just
because we belong to him. That's right, That's incredible. Yeah.
(13:17):
I'm thinking of some scripture.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
I don't know exactly where it's at, but I know
the Song of Solomon talks about, you know, the seal
on the arm and the seal on their head, and
it's like he's talking about, let my mind and my
heart be totally sealed.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
I'm so in love with you. Let my mind always
think about you.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Let my right arm always you know, the strength and
and everything that the right arm represents. Let let me
think about my walk with you. Let me think about
you in all times. And it's just that love affair
that they had, and it's the same thing with our
love affair that we have with God and He has
(13:58):
with us, and he seals it with that promised Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
He's amazing. That is beautiful. You have the beautiful story.
It is that he loves us that much. He loves
us that much that he even reserved that inheritance for us.
He could have just said, okay, they fell, I'm done,
but sacrificing his own son as a lamb, giving us
everything definitely to get us back, and putting that ring
(14:26):
on her finger, give us the Holy Spirit, and saying
it's all yours. You're in line for this, it's it's yours.
I'm giving it right back to you, putting it all
back to that perfection that he promised us and wanted
so desperately for us to have, and then to build
that relationship with us like that. I mean, engagement is
a commitment, it is intimate. It's I am pledging everything
(14:50):
to you that I have and that I am for eternity.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yes, even in Jewish culture, when you got engaged, they
didn't look at us.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
You got engaged.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
They look at as looked at it as you are
already married.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
So we are already married. Yes to him, Yes, we
choose him. It becomes ours. Yeah, it's so good. It's
a very large concept to get a hold of. And
some people go into doubt over that, and it's like no, no, no, no,
you're saying that your got No. I'm saying I'm part
of God. I am the bride of Christ. And so
(15:28):
I like to say when I'm talking about this, you know,
when you get married, the women the majority of the time,
most of the time, take on the man's name. Yeah,
and then your children have the man's name. So when
you get married, you take on that name. You take
on the authority of that name, so you can legally
(15:50):
go onto the deed of a house, go onto the
title of a car. The kids have legal right to
use that name. They become legally that name. You walk
into the bank. And I love to say this because
it's kind of funny, like I don't walk into the
bank as a married woman and say in the name
of my husband, Gosh, this check right, And it's okay
(16:13):
to say in the name of Jesus be healed. That
you know, we were showing that example in the Bible,
and that's fine and good and we should and all
of that. But the thing is, in the name of
the Lord, we do have authority. So we can cash
a check, so to speak, in the spiritual realm. So
just walking into a room brings the authority of God.
(16:34):
You know, just laying hands on somebody and praying for
them to be healed brings God to them, the authority
of God to them. So we walk in the authority
of marriage just by saying, Okay, I'm signing that marriage
certificate with his last name, I'm taking that on as
my own. And then everything he owns and everything that
you own comes together under one in unity, and that
(16:56):
is how you function. You know. You don't raise your
kids in two separate houses. Normally you pick one, and
that is you know, so you come together in unity.
And that's what we do with God. So I'm not
afraid to say I'm God's and that's mine, not saying
it's mine in ownership, it's mine in stewardship. You know,
we come with nothing, we leave with nothing. So everything
that we obtain while we're here, isn't that that I
(17:20):
went to work and I earned this car. It is
a Kingdom car. I'm an ambassador of Heaven. It is
for my use. If I die in this moment, I
don't take the car anywhere. It's days and somebody else
is going to climb in with the key. They're going
to take ownership and authority of it, and then they're
going to steward it until they pass away. So nothing
we have is ours. But in what we're speaking of,
(17:42):
we're talking about the eternal inheritance. So not only do
we have the authority under God to steward the things
of this world, but everything in inheritance comes to us
in the other realm, in the eternal realm. So we
walk into the presence of God. Everything he has is ours.
So I think I went a little deep there, but
(18:03):
it is that, And don't be afraid to embrace that
as a human being, to reach out to God and
say I want you to be my God, and to
be baptized with the Holy Spirit and take on the
Holy Spirit as your engagement ring. Is that deposit for
your eternal inheritance and to come into the authority of God. Yeah,
it takes on meant to be.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Yeah, we take on his identity, you know, because they
will identify us with our husband absolutely, you know, we
take on the authority and so you know, like for example,
I mean this might be a bad example, but with
King Ahab and then so he had that seal and
(18:44):
Jezebel used it.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
In the king's name.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
You know, we can do things by the identity and
the power and the authority in Christ. And it's not
about saying in Jesus' name like you were mentioning. It's
being in Christ that gives us the authority to have
the kingdom come, that will be done on earth as
(19:08):
it is in heaven. Yes, and I think we just
get we don't know how to do it, you know,
so we'll say in Jesus name.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
You know, and it's fine.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
But learning how power walk in the power and the
identity of Jesus and in the purpose that he put
us in in the earth. That's how in Jesus' name
is going to blossom. That's how it's going to manifest
(19:39):
in our lives because we're walking in that authority, in
that power.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
We're walking in those things.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
And that's that's what the chord and the staff I
think that you know, I was mentioning that earlier the chord,
the staff, and the signet all represent The staff is
the authority, the is what they carried with them. The
staff is the thing that represented their journey. So they
(20:06):
would take a staff and they would they would actually
like put marks in the staff representing the stages of life.
And as they would make more and more marks and
in that staff, it would get higher and higher up.
Of course, we know that God is the ultimate authority,
but according to the markings on their staff, is the
(20:30):
according to the power and authority that they had. And
so when Judah had that staff, that court and that seal,
and he pledged.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
It to her the prostitute.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Yeah, and just like I can't believe he gave that
to her, Like that represented everything that he was. Yes,
And He's like, i will give you everything that I
am because I'm going to promise you. I'm going to
promise you I'm going to bring you this young goat
(21:03):
in the morning or whatever it was that he promised.
And just think God pledged everything that he had saying,
you know what, I'm going to send you a sacrifice.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
I'm going to send you Jesus.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
In due time, at the right time, and he pledges
everything gives them. Well in the end, that staff, that chord,
and that seal saves her life and it identified who
the father was of that baby.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Yes, you know, it identified who it was.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
And just by having that and God even you know,
he sends them out to buy two and he's like,
don't you dare take anything with you because you're not
going to identify with anything but your staff.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
That's good, and he and we make.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Those marks and like I said, I wouldn't be surprised
if there wasn't a mark, and the staff saying this
is when I decided to be jesus disciple. This is
when Jesus said, hey, come follow me. And at that
moment when we said yes, and at that moment when
those disciples said yes, it gave them the power and
the authority to cast out demons and go out and
(22:17):
heal the sick and go out and do all those things.
He said, only take your staff, Only take your authority with.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
You, because they realized it. At that point it was
starting to sink in. They're starting to starting to walk
in it.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yet you don't need anything else, but yeah, you don't.
You need no shoes, you don't need no food, you
don't need nothing.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Just go because it's going to step out in your
purpose under his will, with him as Lord. He provides everything.
I mean, you might have some alarm moments where it
doesn't come into the very last second, but it has
to be there. He promises it, and he sticks by
his word. He doesn't call you into something. He's not
going to supply your needs in and he might teach
you lessons along the way and stretch you a bit
(22:58):
along the way, but he always comes through in the end.
He always does. I was thinking back on you know,
we had mentioned Tamar or tomorrow, however you want to
say it. She was his daughter, Juda's daughter in law,
and she was posing as something else, and he's still
pledged to her. And it's symbolic, I believe too, as
you were pointing out how God gave us everything. So
just remembering that she was basically his daughter, even though
(23:21):
it was in law, and that she was posing as
a prostitute because I referred to her as a prostitute,
I just wanted to take a minute and just sort
of clarify that. So even though we come to him
as something else, he's still giving.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
That was for his inheritance, Yes, Juda's inheritance.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
And then he even though he could have said, well,
she posed is this and maybe she could have gotten
in a lot of trouble. I haven't researched that. But
at the same she honored burned. He called it in
to be burned.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
M hmm. But see that it was for his own inheritance. Yeah,
because the oldest son, I can't remember his name. I
think it was like Er or something like that. I
can't but anyway, he was married to her, didn't have children,
gave her to the next son. That son was the
one that spilled a seed on the ground. And then
(24:13):
and he's like, you know, I'll give you the next son,
but you have to wait till he's old enough.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Put her.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
She had to go and go away and put on
her widow widow clothes. But she she was so committed
to the family line of Judah without a son, without
a daughter, without any you know, you know that that's
it that she she did that to give Judah an
(24:40):
inheritance with more children, you know. And look, we look
at it as a weird way because of you know,
because of our culture. Yeah, but like yeah, so you know,
it's really neat that you know the identity and how
it brought forth. Then I heard sense.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
It's just it's just crazy. It's a crazy thing it is.
That's amazing. I love that. I love that revelation. That's
why I want to have I just got it right now.
Have you come in and kind of, you know, give
us more detail on this. And I thought the podcast
would be great that the listeners would be able to
hear this revelation because it was amazing to me to
(25:22):
hear it. It's one of those things where you read it,
but you don't really get that the depth of it all.
And I love that the Lord gave you this word. Yeah,
so we can expand you know, the mystery, and we
can understand more of where God was going with this,
because it sometimes it boils down to save this prayer
(25:43):
after me, I receive you into my heart. Thank you
for saving me. And then people just try and get
grab a Bible from somewhere and try and live it
out when it is so much more than that. He's
giving us every blessing. I like Psalm one three two,
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all
(26:05):
his benefits. We're talking about his benefits. When you go
to a job and they promise you benefits, so many
people are so diligent. Break that down for me, Do
I get the four one K? What kind of healthcare
are you giving me? Do I get along with this
as my pay or whatever? But when we when we
lead people to Christ and they say the salvation prayer
or something like that with us, do we help them
(26:26):
and disciple them to understand God's true benefits? And as
you can see as we're talking today, we're both getting
new revelation. And we've been saved a while. We've been
walking in a close relationship with God and in ministry
and things like that, and we're just now getting this revelation.
So when the scripture we were reading in Ephesians one
said how God is bringing everything together, and there's versions
(26:49):
that say into unity under Christ, he means it like
we all need to walk together and stick together and
talk about the Word together and help each other through
the good times and the bad. I mean, it's all
part of the inheritance, it's all part of the benefits.
And as you're bringing out all of this about the
(27:09):
signet ring and the staff so far, and then you
also talk about the chord. So do you have anything
to share on the cord in this moment up to you?
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Well, I what came to my mind was about whenever
he seals with the Spirit, okay, and that I'll just say.
In Esther eighty eight, it says that you yourselves write
a the cree concerning the Jews as you please, in
the King's name, and seal it with the King's signet ring.
(27:44):
For whatever is written in the King's name and sealed
in the King's signet ring, no one can revoke. So
I just wanted to say that our destiny is sealed,
and everything that Christ has written in his book about
you is true, and that that it's it's yours, and
(28:06):
that nobody else can revoke it, nobody.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
So think about it. Okay.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
He writes this decree, you mentioned it earlier when we
were talking saw one thirty nine. He writes a book,
and it's sealed, okay. And everything he wrote in that
book about you and your purpose and you're in the
plan that He has for you has been sealed with
the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Amen. And nobody can revoke it or change it or
change it. And it's written in the King's name, and
that just blows my mind. Think about that.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
Like, so the enemy might try to come against you,
your family could come against you, but what he has
written and what he has planned for your life is
going to happen because it's your destiny and it's what
he's written about you. Right, you know in the very
beginning I mentioned this last week whenever we did the line.
Whenever I did. Yeah, in the beginning, he breathed on us,
(29:05):
and that gave us his image and his likeness. Yes,
the cord that you just was talking about, Okay, So
they would take on a grave or and when they
would seal it up, they would take one side and
they would seal it with the king's signature, you know,
with his ring, with his signet ring. They would take
(29:25):
it in clay, which like would represent us, right, and
then the cord would attach it to another piece of
clay where they would stamp it again.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
So you got you.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Got over here on one side, you got this grave, right,
Like I'm just going to use Jesus as the example.
The grave and there was a stone and they stamped
it on one side. The cord would go across and
stamp it on the other side. So that's how it
was sealed. That's how it was, like, okay, you don't
touch this, like I said, if it's a Roman, you
know that if you broke a seal, you were going
(30:03):
to die, you will. You're going to be hanged, You're
going to be crucified. Something bad is going to happen
to you because you are not to touch a seal.
And whatever they would decree, whatever they would say, they're like,
it's final, and they would just you know, clap their
hands together. You know it is finished. You know, okay,
we're done with this Jesus thing. We're keeping him in
(30:25):
the grave. It's over. As soon as I put you know,
the Roman seal in there, it's done.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
It's over. It's in there.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Well, in the beginning, we're clay right, and God breathes
on us, gives us life, and it says that we
are marked in His images and his likeness. And then
you go over and then you see how at the
end there because Adam of course a lot you know,
he was made perfect, but then he did, you know,
(30:54):
his spirit died when he sinned. But to get God's
spirit back in us, he breathed on us again and said,
receive the Holy Spirit. Yes, that the thing that would
connect them both like the cord. What would connect the
very beginning with the image and the likeness of God
and with receiving the Holy Spirit once again would be
(31:17):
of course the Lord Jesus Christ, because he is the
mediator between you know, God and men, and he sealed
us that way. But of course we're not meant to
be in that grave. We're not meant to be in there.
And then of course when he rose, we rose. When
he died, we died, and he broke those seals, and
he said, go out and do your purpose which I
(31:39):
have called you to do.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Yes, And it's just amazing.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
To think that he did all of that for us
so that we could bring the Kingdom of God back
to earth like how it was in the very beginning
in Genesis.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
Absolutely, it's just so exciting to me. It is exciting.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
And nobody can break that Nobody, nobody without the authority,
and Jesus has the highest authority can break those seals.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Nobody. So the seal is on one side, and then
a cord stretches across to a seal on the other side.
So to break the seal, if you remove the cord.
It's going to pull on that clay and that clay
will crumble and the seal is broken, and you have
to be authorized to break that seals exactly. Okay. So
in Revelation five, Yes, talks about Jesus being worthy to
(32:27):
break the seal. Amen. So that's I kind of lost
my train of thought. But I was thinking about that
as you were talking about that exactly. And that's what
breaking those seven seals I believe it is he was
the only one that was worthy, the only one. He
is the top dog and he has done that with us.
(32:48):
So just like on the wedding night and your wife
is a virgin. Wow. So we are his bride. We
are wearing the engagement ring. The deposit of his inheritance
is his Holy Spirit, and he is the only one
worthy to break that sill. What an incredible revelation. Yeah,
oh my, And you were talking about the breath of God. Also,
(33:11):
I was looking up as we were sitting here, John twenty,
verse twenty two. And when Jesus said this, he breathed
on the disciples and said to them receive the Holy Spirit.
So again he used his breath to give them his
Holy Spirit. And I think you had referred to that verse.
That's why I was looking that up, but just putting
(33:31):
all of it together. So it's so much more than Jesus,
I want you in my heart. I want to be saved,
and I want to go to heaven. It's so much
more than that. It's heaven on earth. We still have
trials and tribulations. But Jesus said, it's okay, I overcame
all of this, but we have to have an understanding
of what he did when he overcame all of it.
He shed. I mean looking at it from a medical
(33:54):
point of view. I was in the medical field, and
I have to think about the aspect of him being
beaten with thirty nine lashes. In history, he says that
that was within an inch of his life. They would
barely most of the time it killed a person, but
they left him within a lash of dying. So it's
sad in tradition and in culture and all of that
(34:15):
in history. And then he gets up from that, they
put the cross on him, and then he carries it,
and those who have been a Jerusalem say, it's uphill
a part of the ways, or at least you know
a certain amount of time carrying a cross. So he's
his heart is pumping hard and he's walking with this
on his back, and he's going, I don't know, do
(34:37):
you heagine the.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Blood in this far that? Yeah, a couple of miles. Yeah,
it wasn't like a blot in the blood that I mean,
like he hadn't been losing blood the entire time. So
he shedded the whole way through Jerusalem to the spot
where he was going from point A to point B.
And then he crawls on the cross. They didn't throw
him there, and he stayed there while they put the
(34:58):
nails in his hands and feet, and then they pick
it up and they throw it into the ground because
it's heavy with him and the weight of the cross.
So they did that, and then he hung there for
how long until he died?
Speaker 1 (35:15):
Don't tell me. There's that much blood in a person.
And it's my theory and my thought that he shed
every drop and what was left was around his heart.
He broke his heart for us, basically, and then when
they stabbed him with that javelin that the rest of
that blood along with the water, the blood in the
(35:35):
water is so significant. We don't have time to go
into that, but it all rushed out, and it hit
that unbeliever on its way out, and he said, surely
this is the son of God. And I wonder if
that's because he was still alive at that point. And
that guy was like, I can't believe I have to
kill this person. They just beat him within an interval's life.
He should have died at the whipping post, but he survived.
(35:55):
And he's carrying this heavy weight uphill for how far
we throw him into the ground and hang there And
he's still hanging there hours later, and I have to like,
and he still has blood in him? What is this?
But Jesus had to do everything at every moment that
he was supposed to to fulfill every single prophecy, to
seal it, to seal it so that it could not
(36:19):
be revoked or messed around with. When he said it
is finished, he had crossed every tee and dotted every
single eye of prophecy what God, his father intended for him.
And he told the disciples at one point, or he
told others, I don't do anything less my father says
to do it. Yeah, And so he made sure he
(36:43):
fulfilled every single part of that. And then when he
sent his Holy Spirit as a deposit for us to
receive it. It's all set and good. It's every benefit,
it's every blessing, it's every point of grace for us.
It's all the mercy, all means all, and God gave
(37:03):
his all. They gave us all like when it comes.
Every time I say that this is maybe seems unrelated,
but maybe somebody needs to hear this word. I've heard
Christians in the last few years arguing about this tithe.
It's a fad. Right now we're gonna argue about the tithe.
Do we have to do or don't we? His old
Testament is a new testament. I just want people to
understand everything is God's but in doing what he did,
(37:26):
it all belongs to us. So if you're arguing about
giving ten percent, where is your heart? It should be
no problem to say it's all kingdom. I'm stewarding it.
It's not mine no matter how it comes to me.
I don't own it. I'm using it for the will
(37:46):
of God, for his pleasure and his will for his
kingdom that he's trying to bring forth upon the planet
and doing it through us who believe so. Ten percent
should be nothing compared to the fact that every day
that you wake up a life here and you ask
God for his kingdom of comment as will to be
done in your life, you should realize. We should realize
(38:06):
that everything that we have is already His and there
should be no argument of whether we give ten percent
or not, or whether it's Old Customer or New Testament.
We need to unite believers and Christians need to unite
under God and do what the Bible says to do
whatever the Father says, we need to do it, and
there shouldn't be arguments like that. So that was a
(38:27):
little bit off topic, but it was in my heart
to share it, so I believe somebody needed to hear
that word, because don't hang on to ten percent, which
is also seed that you plant. If you plant a
kernel of corn, it turns into a stalk. It makes
more ears of corn. Those ears of corn have I've
never counted them, but one hundred or two or so
(38:48):
or more of kernels, and that is seed. So your
one seed becomes like three hundred colonels let's say, times
seven years of corn. So holding on to that ten
percent is just showing you and God where your heart
is at with what doesn't belong to you in the
first place. I mean, it does, but it doesn't, you
know what I'm saying, like, we're just stewarding it. So
(39:10):
you know, the ten percent is you bringing that seed
and putting it into the ministry that you're under and saying, Lord,
I'm going to sew a seed into this ministry and
then I'm going to pull another little kernel off my
ear of corn, my one of seven, and I'm going
to sew it into this ministry because I'm an investor
and I'm an ambassador. So it's just a mindset. But
(39:33):
to kind of wrap it all up and bring it
back on top, what we're saying here and what Nicole
is pointing out, is the fact that when we receive
God and choose Him as our God, y'all wigh God,
the Christian God as our God. When we receive Jesus
as our Lord and our savior and our sacrifice for
all of our sin. When we receive the Holy Spirit
(39:55):
and we act in all of that and we become
active with them and joining them with relayslationship, we also
receive a deposit and engagement ring, and we become married
to God himself. We become the bride of Christ. We
are the engagement. We are the fiance of the Holy Spirit,
(40:18):
and everything in the moment that we receive that and
believe that becomes ours and then we step it up
as we grow in relationship with him. We're the ambassadors,
were the warriors of the Kingdom, and everything in everything
we should be kingdom minded, and everything we own should
be part of the Kingdom. So you know, we don't
have to submit an expense report as part of our
(40:39):
corporate use of the car or the house or the
way that we tay. You know, we bring children into
the world, and how we steward the children and how
we teach the children. It should all be kingdom minded
because we are the Kingdom. We are in the kingdom,
and we are leaders in the kingdom. We are warriors
of the Kingdom because we are children of God. We
(41:00):
are sons and daughters of a living God who loves us,
who created us, and he wants us, and he gave
us a purpose and it's all out of the pleasure
of his heart, where he is one hundred percent love.
Yes he is, yes, he is all right. Well, thank
(41:21):
you Nicole for coming in and sharing is beautiful. Man
would you like to pray and just sure, okay, go
ahead and close. Okay, if I shared just a tiny
little bit more, oh absolutely a little bit.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Yeah. So with our ministry, I just wanted to share
just a tiny little bit that the name of our
ministry is called Marked for Life Ministries and you can
go if you want to check some of it out.
I'm not quite done with the website.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
I'm getting there.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
It's just taking a while, but it's Marked for Lifeministries
dot org. And basically, my husband has been in prison
ministry for a long time.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
We started off.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
I don't know, I think it's like seven eight years now,
and he started working in the prisons and basically we
had a lady heard my husband preach at a church
and she's like, you would be.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
Awesome in the prisons.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
And because she was the head of the chaplain chaplaincy
in the prison and she invited him to come preach. Well,
it ended up he ended up being the contract chaplain
there and then when a job actually come up, a
job opening with the state, then we took it. And
then that's why we moved up here to Brookville and
(42:39):
then now he's at you know, Forest But anyway, he
is the chaplain there and he just he's just loved
preaching to the prisoners and it's just so good because
he don't see them as prisoners. He you know, he
sees them who you know, how God sees them. And
(42:59):
so but the thing that God dropped in his heart
and my heart is there is a missing piece to
what they do. So you're in prison, you get adapted
to prison, and then if you know, when you're done
and you get out, it's like here you go and
they just drop you off and you either go back
(43:21):
to the situation you're in or you're homeless, or you know,
there's there is a gap missing there. And most like
programs that they have, you know, because most people do
have to sign into a program and then they have
to report back to the parole officer. But most programs
are not spiritually based. And you know what, you cannot
(43:44):
make it in this world just by a program, but
what you need is the Holy Spirit. And so God
dropped it in David and I's heart to be able
to get a house and have it as a place
that people can go to re enter into society and
be a productive member of society and not be a
(44:07):
nuisance you know, because it's just it's just what they
just need God and they need the Holy Spirit, and
they need support, they need a home, they need to
know how to get a job. They know, they need
all these things. They need to get their I. D. Back,
they need to get.
Speaker 1 (44:23):
Oh their identity. Yes, they have to They have to
get these things, don't people realize And they don't know
how to do it. Yeah, you know.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
And so we have a program that we have had
developed that whenever they get out of prison, that they
would come and they would live in this house. And
what were we just need the house. So like the
vision is there. We know exactly what we're going to do.
We know exactly how we're going to change the lives
(44:52):
of these people. And that's where we got the whole
Marked for Life seal. And yeah, if you go on
our website you'll see and I'm also we're also on
Facebook too, it's Marked for Life Ministries.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
But we have like a little seal there.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
And as an M in the middle, and then we
have identity, we have authority, and then we have the
Works of Christ and we have the Body of Christ.
And those are like the four pillars that we are
wanting to teach and show them who they are in
Christ and live those things out and give them the
tools that they.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Need to live in this world.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
And then you know, our hope and dream is that
they that they would go out and actually build another house,
you know, and do the same like what we would
do for them, that they would be able to do
for others. We're just in that stage of a campaign
of trying to get this house, and you know, it
does it does cost money, and we do have some supporters,
(45:50):
but we we actually will you know, we really do
need some more supporters just so we can get this
house and get this thing going because you know, or
to care for these people too. You know, we're to
care for the widow, the orphan, We're to go to
the prison where to visit them, We're to help them, you.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
Know, for them. You've done it to me. Yeah, And
so it's.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
Just been in our heart because it's like there's a
gap there that is missing, and I know, like you know,
like I could go to an AA meeting and you know,
do the best I can, but you know, without the
help and the love of Jesus Christ and the seal
of the Holy Spirit, there's no way that you can
stay away from being an alcoholic or a druggie. I mean,
(46:33):
then the reason why I'm free is because of Jesus.
That's the only way I was able to put the
cigarette out, you know, and stop doing drugs. The only
way I was able to do that is by the
spirit of God. Because we've tried before, you know, I've
tried before to quit those things. I was never never
able to, you know. So anyway, we want to give
(46:54):
them the tools to be able to live a productive
life and have a purpose that God has for them.
And the only way we're going to be able to
do that is with that house, you know. And so
that's what we're looking for. But we still go out.
We still minister, let us share the vision with you.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
So if you want to.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Get in contact with us and we can come out
and preach the gospel on the weekends. Sometimes David's available,
sometimes I'm available. Sometimes we are together, so you can
just reach out to us and we can come out
share the vision. And also David is doing prison ministry,
so now being a state employee, he cannot share in
(47:36):
Pennsylvania in other prisons, but we can go to Ohio,
we can go to New York. We can go to
Maryland and you know all the other states. We are
allowed to go outside of PA to preach in the prisons.
So if you you know, if there's anybody that's a
chaplain at their prison, they can ask us to come
(47:57):
into their prison.
Speaker 1 (47:59):
Is because it's not n PA. I love that. Good. Okay.
So one more time. So if they want to give,
can they go to your website and give? Can they
go to Facebook and give? Yeah? I think you can
do that too. Okay, So your website, let's go over
that one more time.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Marked for lifeministries dot org. Dot it's a for like
a number four. You know, it's f o R it's
it's just the number four.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
So marked with the number four ministries all one word
dot org yep okay. And then the Facebook is marked
for life ministries with the same with the number four.
Yep okay. Marked for life ministries okay, and it's David
and Nicole Baalser. Yes, correct, man. What a beautiful ministry.
I love it. So people take a kernel of your
corn and sow it into this ministry. It's God's anyway.
(48:47):
So let's let's throw some money towards them and get
that house. We need to move that house over and
faith wait to get the house. Yes, because there are
men waiting, There are men waiting to get their lives
way back. You know. Let's do that in love, because
if we're doing it for them, we're doing it for Jesus,
and that's so important. And they need they need love
(49:09):
and care and kindness and compassion, and this is a
beautiful way to do it. And if if everyone pitches in,
then somebody doesn't have to to have the whole load,
you know. And we like to do things, not going
into debt and all of that. For the kingdom. We
just need to shift it and move it. So I
pray the Lord lays it on your heart today as
you listen. And if you have a house connect with
(49:33):
them in Pennsylvania. You may be in the area that
they can use. Oh my, that would even be better,
don'ts house? But we have to look.
Speaker 2 (49:42):
There are zoning and there are some rules there, right,
you know, But that would.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
Be so anyway, because you never know what God is doing.
And you could check into so cool three hundred acres
in the middle of nowhere. I mean, if you just
inherited a house in this area, maybe you know, you
had a parent pass away, and instead of just letting
it fall in or paying taxes on it and not
inhabiting it, or if you don't know what to do
with it, talk to the Lord about that. Who knows
(50:06):
there we go put it out there in the meantime,
if you could give, please give. You know, we're not
we're not. We don't beg for money here. We just
asked out just because we know the Lord's going to
shift things into the account and these guys are going
to get moved on. Their ministry is important and we
need to get moven.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
You know.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
We don't want to waste time on things like this.
There are men waiting for this and we need to
love on them. And all we have to do is share.
I mean, just see how many second chances we have received.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
Like the only difference between me and somebody that is
in jail is because I didn't get caught. I hate
saying it that way, but like I did the same
exact things. Why they're being put in jail, right, you
know what I mean? And we look at them as like, oh.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
You know, like you know, if they didn't have the
love and support in the first place, we're all broken,
and that's why we need God. Yeah, and his love
and Jesus says our savior. Yeah, some people do change.
They just did it and get it in the moment.
You know, they've built their testimony. Now they've gotten saved,
or they've gotten out of jail. We're going to support them,
disciple them, teach them the love of God, and then
(51:09):
they can go out and spread your kindness and goodness
in the world. You know, this is their chance.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
Yes, a lot of people won't hire them, to give
them money to even get shelter. Right, that's a big deal. Right,
that's a big thing. That's why we want the shelter.
You know, we can go into prisons and preach all
the time, but like as soon as they get out,
when there's no shelter.
Speaker 1 (51:32):
Yeah, they're used to their meal being provided, they're used
to boundaries there and then things change. While in just
a few years, things change so drastically. You have to
get used to all of that, you know. So well,
thank you for that, Yeah, thank you. Right, let's pray
for our listeners that God blesses them. You go ahead
and lead us, all right, Lord, We thank you and
we praise you for them.
Speaker 2 (51:53):
Lord, Lord, we thank you for how good you are
that you have chosen to send your spirit to mark
us and give us an inheritance that we can't even imagine,
that we can't even think of. How great and wonderful
it is. Like no eye has seen, no ear has
heard what you have for you have prepared for us
(52:16):
of this inheritance that is so amazing that we can't
even fathom it. Lord, and I just want to thank
you for that. And I thank you for the gift
of the Holy Spirit that you give us that leads us,
guides us, reminds us.
Speaker 1 (52:30):
Of your word.
Speaker 2 (52:32):
Lord. The Spirit of God is the most amazing gift
that you could ever give anyone. And Lord, I thank
you Lord. If somebody hasn't received the promised Holy Spirit,
I just pray right now received, Yes, the Spirit of
God right now in Jesus' name, be baptized in the spirit.
We thank you for him. He is amazing, wonderful, marvelous.
(52:54):
He is magnificent. And so we just thank you that
you just bestow that upon honest Lord, that you give
him to us. And Lord, we just thank you for
listeners today. We bless them in Jesus. We bless them
in Jesus' name. We thank you for listening, and you
just have a great day. You just be filled with
(53:16):
the spirit. And I pray the spirit and lead and
guide you today. Amen, to do a purpose for him
and walk in his name in Jesus' name.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Amen, in Jesus Name. Right, welcome, you have that authority. Amen.
