Speaker 1 (00:11):
What's up, everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
This is Scott Yeger here with another edition of Challenge Mania.
This episode is brought to you by our Challenge Mania
season forty one premiere party here in New York City.
Now we're doing this a little bigger and better than
we've ever done it before. If we've ever been to
one of our awesome premiere parties or parties in general
viewing parties over at East End Bar and Grill on
the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
We're scaling it up a little bit.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
I assume we will be back to the best Syracuse
bar in New York City at some point, but we're
taking this to the main room at City Winery. You
may have attended one of our big live shows there,
our last show on May fourth with Tory and Rachel
and Moore was there. Well, we are coming back to
the big room at City Winery on Wednesday, July thirtieth.
We're gonna have a ton of guests from season forty one.
I think I can name a few of them. A

(00:56):
Nissa Rogi, Rogan O'Connor is going to be in the house.
I believe we're gonna have a power couple, Olivia and
theo there and more guests and also surprises as we
always have at Challenge Mania events.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Now what's gonna be awesome is we're showing the full episode.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I think we're gonna crack the doors at like six pm.
Give you guys a chance to sit down, get some cocktails,
get some wine, get some food, make sure you've got
your seats for the big premiere at eight o'clock. Then
we're gonna run it with all the sound on huge,
big screen super Bowl party style or big pool party
Vegas style, if you will, it's gonna be awesome. We'll
be meeting greeting throughout the day and the night. We're
gonna be coming out there before the episode, maybe during commercials.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Things like that.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Palanw with you guys, but you will be able to
focus on the episode and hear everything. Then after the episode,
full live stage show panel like we usually do. Maybe
not as long, but gonna probably go for the least
forty five minutes talking about the episode and the season
with people from the season. Now big date to announce,
it's this Thursday, that is June the twenty sixth. Go
to Challenge maniacs dot com sign up for the pre

(01:54):
sale to make sure you don't miss out on tickets
for season one premiere party Here in New York City
where you're about to hear it. This is our full
cast breakdown podcast. This went up in a snippet form
in a free preview form last week, but now you're
getting in its entirety over here on the main feed
as a thank you. So here D and I go
for over an hour breaking down season forty one, talking
about how we got back on the show after that
ACL injury and more. But if this gives you fomo

(02:17):
and makes you want to watch the premiere with us,
go to challengemaniacs dot com, sign up at the maniac
level or a buff for bonus podcast and content for
all season forty one, and get that pre sale this
Thursday for the party.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
What's up, everybody?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
This is Scott Jeger here with a very special edition
of Challenge Mania.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yes, it's that special episode.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
That we dropped once or twice a year that we
know you guys are excited by. And this episode is
brought to you by Challenge Mania Live Pittsburgh next Saturday,
June the twenty eighth.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
And if you.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Haven't heard the news, start spreading the news. This is
the big man CT. Tamborello, who we're gonna mention again
in this episode, has joined this epic lineup. He has
joined his Traders co champion Trischelle Cannetella to Challenge Mania
Hall of Famers in Susie Meister and Sarah Rice and
boy Mike excited to see Susie Meister with a live
mic in front of CT, I'll just say that, and

(03:07):
two more Challenge Mania Hall of Famers in Derek Kazinsky
and Mark Long.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
And guess what.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Even though a lot of Pittsburgh maniacs already picked up
quite a few tickets, you can still get tickets to
Challengemania dot Live right now. So head to Challengemania dot
Live to get tickets to Challenge Mania Live Pittsburgh on
June twenty eighth, featuring CT, as well as Detroit October
fifth with Nannie and Wes already on sale, and Chicago, Boston,
Atlanta and more.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
All Right, you didn't come for me, you came for D.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
And if you came for D, you might want to
check out your TV screens on Wednesday, July thirtieth as well,
because He's here to break down the cast and the
season of the Challenge Season forty one with me, mister
Derek Kazinsky.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Product? Yeah. First of all, I was not expecting to
see my name on this cast list, considering what had
happened on season forty But uh, there I am. There
he is, He's right there in the thick of all
these vets. I think we've got here one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen,

(04:14):
sixteen six. That's how that's hot. That's that's how much
I I remember. I had to count sixteen and sixteen.
That's thirty two vets, sixteen vets and sixteen new threats.
We're you expecting that one? We're you expecting that one?

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Here's what I'll say.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
And first of all, if you're new to our Challenge
Mania season and cast drops and breakdown podcast, well you
might be hearing a free preview of this on the
Challenge Mania podcast.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Feet to here the whole shebang.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
You're gonna want to go to Challenge at maniacs dot
com is where you get all of our bonus podcasts.
That's where every week Derek and I will be breaking
down season one, season forty one, I should say, one
episode at a time. We again do put free previews
on the main fee, but if you want to get
the full episodes ad free full video, we are not
doing full video of this reason being I'm smack dab
in the middle of my vacation. I'd sneak into a

(05:05):
little boardroom here at the gorgeous Marriott in Marco Island, Florida.
Hopefully they don't start their meeting earlier. Come and boot me,
and if this podcast ends abruptly, you'll know why. But
either way, go to challengemaniac dot com right now sign
up for the season. You'll hear the rest of this
cast breakdown, and you'll also hear all of our bonus
podcasts and interviews in full video and ad free audio

(05:25):
the second we record them all right now, Derek, what
you're asking me is am I surprised to see your name,
even though obviously logistically you can't even be gone without
me having to bring in guest hosts or you know,
have to call on a fill in for a live
show or do some interviews by myself.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I'm still more.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I'm still more, but I'm still more surprised to see
your name on here or whenever I quote unquote saw
your name on here figuratively, because as you mentioned, dude,
you suffered. I want you to just walk us through
this before we break down the other people you're gonna
be playing with. Normally we save your name for last,
we do the big reveal at the end. No, we're
going to talk you first, because what I want to
ask you about is how you got to go on

(06:05):
a plane to go film the show when the last
time we saw you you shattered your leg or your knee,
and we heard that you had an epic amount of
surgery and medical attention that you had to attend to.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Beginning end of last year.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
So how does someone go from that to being able
to take part in a challenge that had to film
in the last few months.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Here, walk us through that.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yeah, a lot of quick work, a lot of luck
on your side, and yeah, kind of piece in the
leg back together is what happened, And it happened pretty firs.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Remind us of what the injury, will remind us what
the injury was. What slowly was the injury.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
So I tore my acl and meniscus when I jumped
in the mudpit on season forty. You may have heard
me say, I think I broke my leg. I think
I broke my leg. I didn't break my leg, I
didn't break a bone. I tore my ACL. I'm sure
if you guys, anybody pays attention to sports, it is

(07:03):
a very common injury. But at forty years old, it's
an injury that takes a lot more time than you
know your regular you know, college or or when you're younger.
The body heals a little bit faster when you're older.

(07:24):
Like for me, what I did was typically what people
get when they tear their ACL. The reconstruction is they
take your patel attendant or your quad tendon and replace
that ACL graft with that. They use your own body
to heal your body. Now what they did with me,
since I'm over forty, my ligaments, my tendons aren't as

(07:51):
youthful and spry as you know the younger days. They
took a graft from a cadaver, from a dead body,
and they replaced that ACL from a cadaver. It's a
it's a cadaver craft. Basically, that's a dead body, a
dead body. It's from a dead body. So hopefully and

(08:14):
maybe what I got there was a nice, hopefully athletic
dead person and they replaced it in there, and I
was basically fast tracked to get to go and do this.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, Zombie Derek is coming to play.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
You're coming to play alongside a ton of other Vets
and some New Threats because this season is called the
Challenge Vets and New Threats. As I mentioned Wednesday, July thirtieth,
very excited that that will be coming next week. And
we only have next month, I should say, we only
have a few more months without a Challenge in our life.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
So we're gonna go through.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
We're gonna name every cast member that will be taking part.
You're gonna recognize some of them, obviously the Vets. You
might recognize some of the New threat as well. Then
we're going to say goodbye to you guys. On the
main feed and over at challengemaniacs dot com, we are
going to get full breakdowns of all of these cast members.
So without further ado, let's start with the Vets here,
all right. Mikayla Bradshaw. Two challenges you guys also know

(09:15):
are from Survivor. She is back in the thick of things.
Theo Campbell last performed on season forty He is back
after four challenges. Derek Chavez took home a lot of
Challenge Mania awards this year, and this is his sixth
challenge or I believe let me let me see, is
this the seventh challenge? I believe, Yeah, this would be
his seventh challenge. So these are the amount of challenges

(09:36):
they've done before. Johnny Bananas is back, you guys know.
Johnny Banana is our feature guest in Atlanta on July thirteenth.
Can still get tickets to that. Johnny Banana is coming
back to maybe take home his eighth win. Anissa Ferreira
one of the most storied female competitors. Can she finally
take home that female title? We're going to find out
season forty one on July the thirtieth. Speaking of seasoned veterans,

(09:58):
we've got Leroy Garret and Nty Gonzalez, both from Real
World Vegas. We just announced that Nanty Gonzalez will be
with us in Michigan on October fifth. Leroy Garrett ironically
lives in Michigan. We'll see if he'll be making appearance.
We don't know, but as I mentioned, you can get
tickets at Challenge Media Dot Live Olivia Kaiser, one of
the few newer quote unquote vets on the season, alongside
her still current booth THEO. They're going alive and well

(10:21):
in Alaska if you've been following their social media travels.
Three challenges under her belt. This is her fourth. We'll
see what she can do with it. The aforementioned Derek Kazinski.
We've talked about you. Aviv is back. We love seeing
that Aviv, after taking what was it eighteen years off,
returning as an alternate on season forty is now back
on season forty one.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
And you love to see it. Okay, here we go.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
We had wondered we always talk about, is All Stars
sort of purgatory island before people make their triumphant return
to MTV and the flagship show. Well, Ashley Mitchell is back.
Ten challenges, two wins, of course, some of the most
wins and out of any female competitor, Ashley Mitchell's back,
and she will be playing on the same season as
someone we know she does not get along with Anissa Ferrera.

(11:03):
We'll see how that goes. Naya more five challenges under
her belt and here's.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
A good one. The Bear Rogi Bear.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Rogan O'Connor re challenges, so I believe this would be okay,
So this must be the amount that they've done, including this,
because he's only done two seasons, correct, Rogan, right, yeah, yeah,
so this is his third.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, so one win of course got the win.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
I don't I don't know if that's I don't know
if that's correct, because we said that Derek Chavez this
was his seventh challenge, but it says sixth. And if
this says Rogan has.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
It says has three, So that would tell me that anyway. Well,
either way, Rogan O'Connor one win. Have not seen him
in quite some time, and he's someone we obviously love.
We had him in Pittsburgh a few years back. We'll
be in Pittsburgh next week without him, but with CT.
So good to see Rogan back. Car Maria Sorbello, the
Queen of the show. She's back, Cet Tamborello, somebody we
will be with next Saturday. We'll talk about how it

(11:57):
feels to be back on season forty one, obviously not
the best run for him alongside you on season forty
we'll see if he can redeem himself. And then last
but certainly not least on this vets roster here d
Turbo my god, four challenges, one win. Turbo is here
rounding out the Vets before we get to the new threats.
Give us some general thoughts on this group. Don't go
into too much detail, we'll save that for Challengemniax dot com.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
But yeah, just to just to like confirm, it's three
challenges for Rogan. This will be his fourth, so like
you you were right. It was like, Derek has six challenges. God,

(12:39):
that's right then, and this will be his seventh.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
So Rogan appeared, so he got the first exit on
Vendettas and he won the Oh you know what, the
third one is total madness, That's what I'm getting. Where
he loses to Johnny Bananas up on the ice block.
That's the last time we've seen him, and that's the
last time we've spoken to him. Actually, was talking to
people recently about his last appearance on the podcast and

(13:04):
how he opened up about a lot of mistakes he'd
made in the past. And I remember candidly talking. I
believe this was in my private group chat with the
patrons overrip Challengemaniacs dot com.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
That's right. I got a maniac level group chat.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
There's also a dise level group chat, but it's a
constant back and forth. We're always talking about stuff, a
lot of stuff that maybe wouldn't put on social media
and whatnot. But where people were talking about Rogan in
that interview, and I remember it at the time, and
it's interesting. I'll talk about this now while we're talking
about Rogan. There were some things at the time that
were going around, old tweets of his or old videos him,
you know, singing.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
It was either tweets or singing lyrics and.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Whatnot, or quoting movies and things, and yeah, you remember
what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
I thought it was it was Drake.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
It was Drake lyrics.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
It was pulp fiction quotes, things like that, and he
was and he told me off airs.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Like you know, they told me not to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
It told me this, and I said, look, dude, I go,
here's the thing. You don't talk about it. And then
they still don't bring it back till season forty one,
and then by the time you want to go and
address this and apologize, all the fans will think it's disingenuous.
I go, If you go and you apologize, it now
at least the fans know where you stand and they
can decide.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Well, guess what, he apologized for it.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
He addressed it directly, and we still didn't see him
til season forty one, So who knows whether it's he
brought it up or not, whether he's been in time out,
or whether they just had different.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Options for the last few seasons.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
It's great to have the Rogie bear back in our
lives as well, as we mentioned Nashally Mitchell as well,
So a lot of a lot of triumphant returns here
for the flagship.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Yeah, I think whenever you get to know, like you know,
the true hearts of some of these people that you
know have made quote unquote mistakes in the past, Like
you know that you know they that sometimes the world,
you know, kind of steers us in the in the
wrong direction and you don't know and they act out
of ignorance. And I think that you know Rogan, you know,

(14:49):
it's nice to see him back because when you get
to know him, you know what kind of a person
he is. And yeah, he does do still do some
dumb goofy stuff on on social media, but that's that
that's who he is. And I don't think there was
any malicious intent. And it's pretty interesting that you know,
we got you know, we got that kind of like
exclusive back then. So we'll be talking.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Let's say, let's say this. We've been talking.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
We're trying to figure out a time maybe during season
forty one, where he'll be back in the States so
we can hopefully bring him out to meet some of
you find folks, because as of now, he's only appeared
at that first ever Challenge Mania Pittsburgh show at the
City Winery a couple.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Of years back.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
And he was a hit back then, not just with
the fans, he was I remember he was hit with
the fans. I remember him signing quite a few breasts
and whatnot. But also Susie Meister loved him. I think
all that. I think her son Lincoln loved him. He's
just a ball of energy. Everybody loves Rogan. So glad
he's back in our lives.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Now, let me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
So we haven't gotten to the new threats yet a
lot of those will feel new and fresh. A lot
of people from United States shows you might recognize, but
we're talking just the Vets.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
This makes up half the cast.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Okay, So I always say the caveat when you have
a theme like this. We're only half of the cast
are vets. It's going to be a smaller number across
the board. However, are you surprised to see such little
representation of what you would call the latest era of
the Challenge, Era four if you will. THEO and Olivia,
by my account, are really the only ERA four representatives

(16:13):
in this group of veterans. I guess Mikayla would be
in there as well. Mikayla also Era four. She didn't
participate on season forty. She was literally on team ERA four,
but she is a newer cast member as well, so THEO, Mikayla,
and Olivia. I don't know if you've been following on
social media, Arassio has been very outspoken about not getting

(16:33):
a call.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
For the season. Deresee has mentioned she didn't get a
call for the season.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
I've been saying, look, and this is kind of what
I've been alluding to. When you take a look at
this group, it's really not that many people from seasons
thirty eight, thirty nine, forty, et cetera. That you know,
you shouldn't really be offended. It's not like they took
twelve of your peers and not you. Clearly this wasn't
something where they had a lot of folks from Ryder
Dieser later spies, lies and allieser later on their radars.

(17:00):
Were you surprised to see not those familiar faces of
the latest crop of newer challengers.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
You know, to be honest with you, I'm surprised with
the whole cast.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
And Rogan, the Rogan. Rogan is kind of borderline there yet.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Well, well, even Turbo is is kind of like the
newer era, right, even though he's like an older fella.
He's in his you know, late thirties. You know, I
think he's like thirty five, thirty six, thirty seven, He's
still kind of like I think maybe Era four. He
may be Era four.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Yeah, I'm kind of mad. I'm kind of mad. I
called it Era four. Here's why, because I don't think
all air fours are equal. Because to me, Josh and
Pauli and Rogan except in Turbo, are not.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
They're like first half of Era four.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
They feel like they've been a part of this world
since pre pandemic, since War of the Worlds.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
They've been around.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Well, let's put it do this way, Rogan debuted on
Bendetta's which was season thirty one.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Chooo. Guess what, Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
The train, the Chewo Choo train, the CT Tambarello train,
is rolling through Pittsburgh Saturday, June twenty eighth. Yes, I
know it's relatives short notice, but that just goes to
show you never know when a guest is going to
be added to a Challenge Mania Live lineup, and you
never know when a headliner like CT might pop his
head onto our stage. Guess what, guys, there are still

(18:16):
tickets available. For those of you guys who already showed faith
and did buy tickets, you are good to go. For
those of you guys who've been dragging your feet, sitting on
your hands, or might want to hop on American Airlines
or Delta and come join us at Pittsburgh on the
twenty eighth, well, guess.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
What, there are a few tickets available.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Go to Challenge Mania dot Live today get your tickets,
because every single ticket comes with a meet and greet,
so you'll get to meet CT alongside his Trader's Champ
fellow traders Champ, I should say, Trischelle Cannetella. We've also
got to bring Candy Girls in the House, Hall of Famers,
Susie Meister and Sarah Rice, plus the Godfather, Mark Long
plus Derek Kazinski.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
I will be there as well.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
We're doing a panel, then we are doing pictures and autographs.
It's going to be a great afternoon at Celebrations, Banquet,
Bar and Grill. Go to Challenge Mania dot Live today.
Also Detroit, thanks for having an awesome pre sale this week.
With the prese is done, password is gone. That means
tickets are available to everyone over at Challenge Mania dot
Live for Detroit on October fifth, featuring.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Wes and Nannie.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
We've also got tickets on sale for Boston Beantown almost
sold out Carl, Maria, Devin, Michelle and Ryan. If that
lineup sounds familiar, it's also because it's our lineup for
August thirty first in Chicago.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Tickets available for that as well.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Go to Challenge Mania dot Live because we are rolling
through Pittsburgh, then Atlanta, then Los Angeles for the road
RULDS Reunion, then Chicago, then Phoenix, Tory Dial and Jody
and Phoenix.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Hello. Go to Challenge Media dot Live today. So much
going on, but the headliner guys get to Challenge Media
dot Live.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Because we just added opening or ct Tamborello joining us
in Pittsburgh next Saturday.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
The Challenge Mania Shop is open. Head over to Challenge
Mania dot Shop today. We're the best way to support
the podcast while looking good doing it. New designs and
items added every few weeks. Maniacs time to mobilize. Check
out Challenge Mania dot Shop today.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
So I don't think Rogan is in the same group.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
What I really met were the kind of rider dies
or later kind of people spies, lies and allies are laters,
you're because remember we did talk about how that was
such a seismic rookie class with your ravens and nurses
and Rossio's and Olivia's. That's kind of more where I'm
at with the THEO also again kind of fits in
the Rogan crop, you forget, because he's kind of had
two arcs here. He took so much time off with
the eye injury that this is sort of THEO two

(20:30):
point zero, THEO one point oh debut on More.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Of the Worlds alongside Carmeria.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
So you know, I just think, you know, to me,
what really jumps out of me are the really, the
really true new cast members who only debuted on the
Challenge season thirty seven or later are Mikayla and Olivia.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
So let's let's go more with that.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
Let's say so so here here, the biggest issue with
with casting the past few few seasons has been like
not casting the amount of ogs, right, Like I think
people like are okay with getting to know some of
the newer cast, but not a whole cast, right, And

(21:10):
we'll get to the rest of the sixteen rookies that
people are not gonna know anything about. And you're lucky
that you got me here because when you look at
the list, you ain't gonna know shit about any of them.
And I think it's it's well, maybe a few you would,
maybe a few.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Well, that's what we're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
That's what we're gonna do next, because we're still in
the free preview over at challengemaniacs dot com, which you mentioned.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Is interesting because this is what separates.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Us from a lot of not only are you here
during this cast breakdown to give us firsthand knowledge not
just of the veterans that you know well from several
years of playing alongside them, but these new threats are,
like you said, new names to me and a lot
of other people out there, whereas you have a bit
of an added insight and will continue to have one
throughout the season. So that's what people will be getting
over at challengemaniacs dot com full bonus episodes every week,

(21:58):
where you and I will be breaking down each episode
of the season.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Of course, as always, boiler Free were.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Going on eight years and that's how Challenge Mania has
stayed afloat, So feel free to sign up knowing that
as well as well as this episode. And that's why
we wait, and we wait until you know you might
have heard rumblings of this cast for the past few months,
we wait until it officially breaks. Today, our good friend
Emily Longaretta over at Variety broke this news, and that's
why we are here right at crack of that drop

(22:27):
page to talk exclusively over at challengemaniacs dot com for
you guys, as well as a free preview on the
main feed for now, and this might eventually go up
on the main feed later who knows, but for now,
if you want to hear the rest of this on Wednesday,
June the eighteenth, or whenever you're listening to this, head
to challenge maniacs dot com. Trust me, we'll make it
worth your while if you don't know that. In addition
to the bonus podcast you also get presale access to

(22:49):
all of our live shows. When we put a live
show on sale, it starts with a Savage level presale,
then a Diesel level presale, then a maniac level presale.
Maniac level very important because that is the tier that
the first tier, the cheapest tier that gets you all
the bonus podcasts, gets you all the video, and gets
you that maniac.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Level pre sale as well.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
We have lots of other fun stuff, as I mentioned
that group chat where you get lots of inside info,
early tips on stuff and whatnot. So all right, d
let's roll through just name all the new threats that
we're gonna say goodbye to the main feed.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
But what do you got?

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Let me just give my my quick two cents on
the Olivia and Mikayla. Yeah, so Olivia I do think
is the youngest vet right and uh and I do
think her and Theo are are that that that couple
that may have sort of like now taken place of

(23:36):
Harasho Nourice, right, Like remember it was like Hirasio and
Nourice were kind of like our headliner for a little
while there. But you know, coming off of season forty
you've had this you know, you know, brewing romance with
THEO and Olivia and like you said, they're they're they're
going strong in Alaska. It's kind of like our that
that new to watch couple, you know, and uh in

(23:58):
Olivia you know, very much made a name for herself
on season thirty nine, Like she was the headliner on
season thirty nine, whether it was like the one person
or you know, one of four people that came out
of uh what was that season called Battlefolod Champion where
it was all newbies and these are the two that

(24:21):
are kind of like, you know, at least Olivia was
is kind of the one that really came out of that,
you know, Nourice and Harassu of course as well. But
here we go, we get to kind of follow this, uh,
you know, from Shattered Face to you know, what will
we see you know coming in the future with Olivia,

(24:49):
I think people.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
From Shattered Face to the face maybe who knows.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
You know, yes, you know, she's she's the one that's
kind of that we accepted, right, It's the Challenge Commune.
He sort of accepted and we're like, you know what,
this from this crop of people that we want to
never see again, this is the one that we want
to give a chance, right and she's taken her Boo
with her. And to be fair, Theo is still one

(25:18):
of the most interesting characters that we haven't really been
able to see, you know, full seasons out of I
think he gets a bad break on on Battle for
a New World Champion or what's called World Champs or
whatever it's called whatever was called this the season, the
international season where Global Championship. It was like people people

(25:43):
that people were upset that this guy was even on there.
Uh making it to the end with Sarah Leasina. Uh,
I just feel like we never get to see his
full personality come to fruition. So hopefully this is uh,
you know, uh a team that will we'll be looking
forward to. And also you got to watch out there's

(26:03):
this faction. There is a faction and it is Olivia,
Theo and Derek Chavez.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Okay, well we're gonna talk more in detail about the
vets and the threats over Challengemaniac dot Com. But just
to round out this free preview and like what you
said is true? Olivia thirty two years old, Mikayla thirty
four years old, or remember mickaela debut on Survival.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
It seems like a decade ago.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I don't have it in front of me, but I
think it was about ten years ago. We're gonna breeze
through the names of the new threats. Now, we're gonna
say goodbye to the main feed, and we're gonna break
them all down in detail or as much detail as
we can get to over at challengemaniac dot com. Then
we're gonna answer some more questions about the vets and
the threats for Challenge Maniac patrons. All right, meet the
new threats. Jake Cornish, Love Island All Stars. We've got

(26:46):
Ben Davis, who is a boxer. Now, it's so interesting
when you get these cast lists. You get these names
to tell you what shows they debut on, and then
sometimes you get boxer. So it'll be interesting to get
your take on Ben Davis and what sort of boxer
he is and whatnot? Or is that a show called
Boxer that airs in nider No, Argentine or something. Leonardo
Dianoccio and excuse my pronunciation on some of these names.

(27:08):
I'm sure that hopefully later on we'll be able to
find tune that Love Island USA. Is he Fairthorne too
hot to handle? Will Gagnan? Are you the one? Justin
Hinsley from Cheer Now and Believe Cheers a show from
Netflix about cheerleading again. I don't think it's the show Cheers,
by the way, shouts to Norm Rip from Cheers, Cedric

(27:30):
Hodges from Big Brother twenty six. More Big Brother representation
continuing to funnel down to the challenge Jeremy Hi k
Or Hi k Haikai from The Amazing Race thirty five.
That we've got Blue Kim Blue Kim. Interesting name there,
but I do remember hearing somebody from Blue on Big

(27:50):
Brother twenty five, so she'll be playing alongside America Lopez
from Big Brother twenty five as well. So we've got
two people from Big Brother twenty five, one person from
Big Brother, and you wonder will America the country be
rooting for America the cast member Adrian Naylor from Married
at First Sight UK. Here's someone I do remember from

(28:11):
Survivor season forty one, Sydney Siegel. I'll admit I haven't
thought about her much since Survivor season forty one, but
she is back to play here on the challenge. We'll
see what she brings to the table. Leka Sodade from
Canada's Ultimate Challenge that sounds like a badass show. D
Viadares now D one Survivor forty five. A lot of
people think she's had the most successful modern Survivor season

(28:34):
that's post Survivor forty out of anyone. She really steamrolled
and was a great cast member. Such a great cast
member on that season. In addition to winning that, Jeff
made her the co host of his podcast for the
following season. And such a dominant and popular Survivor cast
membory that we can already say because it's been publicly
announced by Survivor on the CBS Morning Show, was revealed

(28:56):
a few months ago or a few weeks ago, I
should say d is back competing non Survivor.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Fifty, which I believe is filming right now.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
So d Viadara is not hearing this, not seeing this
cast announcement, because she is very much in the thick
of Survivor fifty.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
So shouts to her. She will be going. I believe
the way that this will I not believe. I know.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
The way that this will air chronologically is that July
thirtieth she's going to be on season forty one.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
And then if you end up lov and D and
you want more of her, we'll guess what.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
You'll get more of her in early twenty twenty six,
when Survivor fifty debuts to Survivor forty nine's debut, and
right down the road here and I believe September twenty
twenty five two more here, Gabe, why I believe it
is Wai. So I'm going to say why for now
and hopefully you can tell me if I'm right or wrong.
He's listed as former WWE, so we've got a boxer

(29:42):
and we've got a former wrestler, it seems. And then last,
but not least, or maybe least, we'll find out when
we see the show. Tay Will Coxon from Big Brother
Australia fifteen D. Don't get too specific because we're saying
goodbye to the main feed, but give me quick general
thoughts on this group of new threats.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Well, uh, you didn't know you didn't know that, and uh,
but once you start listening, you'll get to know him
a little bit more uh so, uh, tune in to
our little breakdown here because you know, again some even
some of these shows, like I I'm not even familiar with,
right like uh like you have like uh, you know

(30:23):
Canada's Ultimate Challenge, right like you know, I'm gonna have
to give you a little bit on that. Uh you
know former w w E. I'm sure we have a
little bit, you know, to talk about on there. Uh
you know Big Brother Australia. You know, there's there's only
a few people that I recognized from this cast that
I was like, oh, like, for example, like I recognized

(30:46):
Blue and America because I think somewhere down the line
that was the time when I was trying to watch
Big Brother. I was making a valiant effort to try
to get into Big just like I've tried to get
into Survivor, and I've only watched a handful of seasons
where I would be like, oh, I saw you on

(31:07):
that show. I watched I tried to watch that show.
And coincidentally, Blue and America I watched some of their
show somewhere down the line, and I recognize them, and
those were the only ones really. So the rest of
these people, you know, from amazing Race thirty five. You

(31:30):
know the most recent Big Brother with Cedric? Are you
the one with will like too Hot to Handle? I
needed to get some more information on too Hot to
Handle and how that works, you know, so, but.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Well, look, our thoughts might be too hot to handle
on the main feed. So we're gonna kick it over
to Patreon Challengemaniacs dot com. We'll get you the rest
of this podcast. It will also get you a ton
of bonus content. You go back and watch every interview
you've ever done. They all live there in video, at
least since we started doing video a couple of years ago.
You can also go back and listen to all of
our bonus content from season forty, All Stars five and beyond.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
But stick with us during season forty one. We think
you'd really like you remember Challenge Mania dot Live.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
You can get tickets for all of our live shows,
including next Saturday with CT. This show's been on sale
for months and months and months. A lot of lucky
people got their tickets before CT was a part of it.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
We just added them yesterday.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Go to Challenge Mania dot Live because that could be
sold out by the end of the day. We also
just put Pittsburgh and Boston on sale. We're returning to
Boston for the first time in several years, this time
with car Maria, Devin yourself.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
You will be there.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
You unfortunately won't be in Detroit, but Wes and Mark
and Nannie and Moore will be there.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
We've also got Chicago August thirty.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
First, We've got Phoenix with Tory Deal Jody Weatherton making
her Challenge Mania Live debut. That is Sunday, September seventh.
We've also got the road Rules thirtieth Anniversary Spectacular. If
you live on the West Coast, it's our only California date.
I believe through the end of the year is the
only time we're ever going to celebrate thirty years of
road Rules debut in nineteen ninety five, and here we
are in twenty and twenty five, celebrating with a ton

(32:54):
of road Rules alumni Susie and Shane and Veronica tein
at Rachel Yes, all three mean girls in the house,
also Drell, Mark and more.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Keifla is going to be there are tons of.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Surprises at the Brave Improv Tickets available that is Sunday,
July to twenty seventh, and Atlanta. Johnny Banana is coming
straight from season forty one to hang out with us.
Aviv Keifla yourself me Mark MLB All Star Weekend.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
It is Sunday, July thirteenth.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Come make us your pregame for Beyonce She's playing later
that they come see us and then go see Beyonce
after all right, say goodbye to the main feed. We
will see you guys later. Head to Challengemaniacs dot com
to hear the rest of this. All right, d what
the hell is Canada's Ultimate Challenge? Is it as badass
as it sounds?

Speaker 3 (33:34):
This listen, this is what I'll say before we get
started here. Filming with these guys really felt like this
is going to be the future. Like it really did
feel at some points like these guys will be able
to carry the show in the future. Now, Is that? Like?

(33:55):
Is that what I felt in the moment? Yes, looking
at this cast right now, I'm not. I'm not. I'm
still I'm not so sure still because like when I
walked in and I met these people and I'm looking
at the cast now, I'm still like, wait a minute,
will people will are the Challenge community? Gravitate to them

(34:16):
the way I felt like I kind of gravitated to them.
I really don't know. I really don't know, but I'm
gonna I'm here to explain. I guess what. I know
what I can give you right now without getting in trouble.
So yeah, here we are. Thank you patrons for sticking
with us.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
If you're new here, welcome, If you're back, welcome back.
And if you've been with us for years and years
and years, we appreciate you. We appreciate you so much.
We wouldn't be able to do this without you. I
wouldn't be able to leave to film a challenge. Scott
wouldn't be able to uh cover for me and and

(34:54):
take and take it all on while I'm on the
field and he's he's in the booth.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
And by the way, these guys need to thank me
because everybody's been sitting waiting patiently for when we're gonna
get this cast announced. We've had every other cast under
the sun just reveal their cast. We had Season fifty
of Survivor dropped theres. Season four of Traders dropped theirs.
Season was it three or four of House of Villains
featuring featuring Ashley Mitchell and Johnny Middlebrooks and our good

(35:20):
friend Tyson Apostle.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
They all dropped their cast just yesterday.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
A rumored cast we can't confirm or deny it, but
a rumored cast of the floor that's featuring some Challenge
alumni as well, James Wallington and Tommy Brocko and maybe
even a red haired queen who's on this season, All
these casts announcing, Well, we just sit back patiently, waiting,
hoping and assuming that this show was coming in late
July or early August. We kind of were right there
July thirtieth, but they waited here until June eighteenth to

(35:48):
debut the info for us.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
And here's what I'll say.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
I'm not taking full credit, but there's a saying in
life that says, if you want something to happen, make plans,
or if you want to book a job, you should,
you know, book.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
A vacation or whatever.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
That's just a weird thing that happens in life, right Like,
I sort of feel like this call for this season
came because we had you on tap for Minnesota and Florida.
The Minnesota date was literally picked because you were available,
you know, obviously, and then a few weeks before hey,
actually no, I got to go and go on this
mission to maybe win my fourth Challenge championship.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Sorry Minnesota, Sorry Florida.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
And so I'm taking full credit for this cast and
season being announced today because I, as I mentioned before,
am on vacation.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
We woke up.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Bright and early to knock this out this morning before
my family heads onto a boat, and we got you
know word, as we always do, and as it normally
comes in very last minute, but as we wanted to
keep our streak going. Here at Challengemaniacs dot com breaking
down these casts and seasons as soon as they are revealed,
of course, by the premiere press coverage in the Business
Variety Emily Longeretta, who I believe as we record this

(36:57):
is live on television talking about some other show, one
of a million the shows that she covers.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
So either way, we are here.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
But if you're wondering why they decided to announce this
today and not next week or not last week, it's
because they found out Scott Yeger was on vacation. They said, hey,
let's throw a wrinkle in that plan. So all right, first,
I want to go to I want to go to pronunciations.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
How did I do?

Speaker 2 (37:17):
Did I bat you know three hundred two hundred did
how many names did I get wrong? How many names
did I get just butcher?

Speaker 3 (37:25):
You know? For to be honest, like when I'm in
the house, I'm not really asking for last names. So
if you fucked up Jake, Ben Leonardo, will justin Cedric. Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
How did I do? On Grape? I basically called him
Jeremy with a why is that goodson?

Speaker 3 (37:41):
I may have called him Jeremayah, Jeremy yerms. I may
have butchered his name multiple times while I was in
the house, So I think Jeremy is the correct way
to say it. Blue, I think you're correct with Blue
Adrian from Mary at first sight Sydney. So, Queen Sidney,

(38:04):
that's the that's the the one that sticks out the
most hurt and hurt.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
That's her instagram by the way, Queen Sidney, so which
I guess will be bowing down or using a lot
of crown emojis Queen Sidney, which, by the way, impressive
she was able to get the Instagram Queen Sydney.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
Right, Yeah, I mean she uh can do a lot
of things, that's that's for sure. If she didn't make
a splash on on Survivor. She will be definitely making
a splash in your minds for better or for worse
this season. She will this is one that will definitely,
I think, be making a name a name for herself.

(38:39):
Uh again, for better or for worse. So very confident.
This is a very confident woman. I don't know if
you got that from her on Survivors.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
No I did. I did on Survivor.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
A lot of clips on of her on social been
going around, so I see she's still just as confident.
So I'm looking forward to seeing if she's able to
make a debt. I'm gonna predict she's a polarizing figure,
sort of in the Amanda range.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
I do see. Here's what I'll.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Say, And I think this could complicate things. I've seen
some people who I think in an alternate universe may
have been fans of her just based on her character,
based on her attitude, based on sort of the energy
she brings into this world that I've seen that they've
sort of already in advance turned on her based on
some of her like whether it's political affiliation or whether

(39:27):
it's you know what side she's on, and huge international
conflicts and things, and look, I Will says it's everybody's
right to watch reality TV that way and choose who
they root for or like.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Because of that.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
But I do think in a weird alternate universe, a
lot of those people who sort of have decided they're
rooting against her because of that and because they might
disagree on this O or the other thing, I think
would have been fans of hers had that not been
the case. So it'll be interesting to see if she
wins them over or vice versa this season. Let me
ask you about two names I'm worried about. Did I
say Leka right? How do you say Leka leak? Uh?

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Yeah, yeah, it's Leka. It's definitely Leka. Yep, that's and
I think that's that's short. That's that's short for her
real name.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Oh yeah, Well, you know, it's interesting a lot of
these people I used. Look, I end up booking a
lot of flights, so I know all the dirty little
secrets of whose name is actually what you know?

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
I won't get too specific because obviously you know you
go by a different name is maybe because you want
people to call you by the different name. But I
would say about fifty percent of challengers either the name
that we know them as is either a shorter version,
a different version of their name, their middle name, or
and whatnot.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
So I actually think we were calling her lex and
I think for a little while there I thought it
was like L E K S. But I think there's
like a longer version of this name. And yet she
is from Uh, she's from here. I think she's from
the Buffalo area. Uh. And she was on a show
called Canada's Ultimate Ultimate Challenge. So I think this is

(40:55):
one that you're this is. This is like a person
when you look at her her stature, like she has
an athletic bill. She's a former D one basketball player.
I believe she did play D one basketball the University
of Buffalo and she did make it into the sweet sixteen.
So like we're looking at like a serious athlete here

(41:16):
where you're talking.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
She's from the buff and she is buff as well.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
Yes, yes, yes, And she's from.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
To our friends, to our friends up there in the
great snowy North. I believe I've been corrected. It's actually
not Northern New York. It's actually Western New York. I
believe it's what people call it either way or upstate.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
Either way, we.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Are working on hopefully our return to Buffalo this year
the weekend of November fifteenth. Sadly looks like Derek might
not be there, but we are working on assembling a
cast and hopefully doing our event on the fifteenth, and
then doing our what is becoming a yearly tradition tailgate
on the Sunday, November sixteenth against when the Bills play
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's funny, it's like you think, oh,

(41:54):
you got your pick of the litter. We literally looked
at the schedule and there is literally not one Buffalo
home game where you and all of us and the
team are available.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
So I am deeply saddened and jealous, and I will
I will quickly scroll through the daily festivities as you
guys enjoy them.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
Yeah, but I say that to our listeners to put
that on your calendar because have not formally announced it yet.
But that's just because we're trying to figure out some
names to give you when we announce that. But as
you know, guys don't just go by the initial flyer.
Let me just say every single person who lives in
Pittsburgh who bought tickets when it was Susie and Sarah
and Trachelle and Mark and Derek, and they bought those tickets. Well, A,

(42:38):
they are happy because those tickets still stand and CT
has been added, and b the tickets are not what
they paid anymore.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
Those tickets are very priced, very differently today.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
So that's a little reward for those people who showed
some good faith and I know had been patient and
wondered was there going to be a different cast member.
Just to let people know a few months back, you know,
I kind of alluded to just wait until you see
this cast member.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
We're gonna add our big name. We're gonna add and uh,
sometimes it takes a while.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
But look for those of you guys who showed faith
and had got your tickets early, boy are you happy
you did so.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
So the same goes for every single live show we
ever do you never know?

Speaker 3 (43:14):
Yeah, yeah, that you never know, and and like and
the people that are now coming to Pittsburgh for their
third time, like we like, we appreciate and I had
already bought tickets beforehand, like we appreciate you so much,
like like you never know who's gonna show up at
some of these things.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
So and ceet, by the way, this isn't the first time.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
And obviously CT, we know what happened last October, you know,
and I went through and by the way, you know,
here's here. It was kind of an interesting case because
for those of you guys who know we had an
event and an October sadly CT couldn't make it. And
what we said on stage was we said, hey, look,
we know you guys are upset, we know you guys
are disappointed. Email let's put Raleigh in the subject. And
when the CT is on a live show again, we'll

(43:54):
make sure you have first crack oft tickets. You don't
have to pay for a pre sale. We'll get We'll
get you in that. We'll make sure you guys have
access to tickets. Now, when I said that, I assumed
the next time we had CT, it would have been
a good old fashioned hey, we book him. He's on
a live show. It's you know, September third, The pre
sale is next week, and I could easily just go
through and email these people the pre sale link and
code beforehand, Right, That's kind of how I envisioned it. Well,

(44:17):
flash forward to now, and we're obviously adding CT to
a show that has been on sale for several months
and nobody knows that CT is about to be added.
So before we went and made a public what I
did was I went through and I got every single
email address that came in last October and I put
them on a batch email and I said, hey, we're
about to announce this CT is coming to Pittsburgh. Here's
the link. You guys have an exclusive window to get tickets.

(44:39):
So everyone was, you know, very thankful and appreciative. Some
people obviously can't make it a short notice. It's far
for a lot of these people live in North Carolina.
But we did make good on that promise. So just
so people know.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
All right, random segue for this cast breakdown? Random segue?
Got it? No, that was your random segue?

Speaker 2 (44:58):
Well, yeah, we got time to fill here challengemaniacs dot
com and you know, but but oh no, we were
talking about Buffalo. We were talking about your girl Leka,
and we're talking about how we're likely coming there in November,
and we were talking about how you never know. Oh
so what I would say with CT. This is not
the first time CT has been added to a lineup
pretty late. Remember there was a Miami show. It was
our five year anniversary show do you remember this? And

(45:20):
we were in Miami. We had a great lineup already.
I think it was Tory and Nannie. I forget who
exactly was on the show. And a few weeks before
Cet hit you up and we thought, hey, we're not
even to bother CT. He had done a Miami show
in the in the past, you know whatever, and he
you said, you're really going to do your five US
show without me, blah blah blah, and he kind of.

Speaker 1 (45:38):
Made sure he was there. So and that was again
two weeks three weeks.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
Notice where the people who originally at tickets were very
lucky they had them, and then whatever was left, you know,
sold out.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
Immediately, like I'm sure Pittsburgh will.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
But anyway, CT surprising people left and right, as he's
done for going on twenty five.

Speaker 1 (45:53):
Years on MTV.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
And otherwise, let's keep talking about these new threats because
I figured, well, I'll probably have more to say about
the Vets, but give us some other kind of sneak
peaks of some of the names that don't necessarily I
think a lot of our listeners probably have opinions of
the Americas and the Blues and the D's and the
Sydneys from watching these shows. Cedric concluded, talk to me
about Ben Davis the boxer and gave why the former.

Speaker 1 (46:13):
W w E guy.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
Yeah, but but again, even those names that you mentioned, like,
I still didn't know much about them. You know, I
knew that I saw them on the show and I
recognize them and that's it. But okay, let's talk about
big Baby Ben here, the Ben, the Baine Davis as
he goes on ig Baine, of course everyone knows is
the bad guy from uh from from Batman, and I

(46:42):
don't know why he calls himself that, but uh, he
is not like very his physique isn't very like Baine like.
And actually he has I think had maybe one or
two pro fights. I'm not one hundred percent sure. Uh,
he has been in the ring. He has trained as
a boxer, but I do think that Jake Cornish is

(47:06):
more of a potentially more of a boxer, maybe has
had more ring time than Ben has. Ben is actually
a commentator for Dazen and Misfits Boxing. He is more
a commentator than he is an actual boxer, I believe
for my understanding. But like when you see him start

(47:28):
moving around and doing the shadow boxing. He definitely you
can tell that he's had some some training done in
the boxing world. So I think he's more well known
as the commentator for Dazen and Misfits Boxing. You may
know them as like the celebrity boxing uh area, not

(47:53):
not not as big as as Jake Paul, But I
think Jake Paul is associated with KSI and this is
k size organization is the dazz In Misfits Boxing.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
Just so it is pronounced, I believe the zone is.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Yeah, it's one of those it's one of those where
all the vowels or it's just d z N whatever,
But I think it is pronounced his zone. But yes,
they are one of the premier streaming platforms for boxing,
m m A and other things. And I could say
Ben Davis one of the guys, one of the cast
members who has since reached out. Uh So we've developed
a bit of a correspondence and I follow him on

(48:29):
social media and I'll say, let me say this both
Instagram but especially Twitter, slash x tremendous follow. Look, he's
a great follow He comments constantly on empty on on UFC,
m m A. I highly recommend following him. He's got
great takes. He's funny.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
Yah, seems like he's got a great disposition. Uh. Seems
like a lot of you guys might align with him, Uh,
you know, socially and politically.

Speaker 3 (48:53):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
And he has since reached out and uh and I
will say I can I can say that I believe Uh.

Speaker 1 (48:59):
He's going to be appearing on a future Challenge Mania
Live show.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
And now that the cast has announced, we will probably
be announcing that in the coming weeks. So for those
of you guys coming to one of our shows, you
might have an opportunity to meet him soon in the
next couple months.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Yeah. Cool guy. And like you said, great takes, like
on Twitter, like I love seeing what he has to.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Talk about on X Yeah give me Gabe.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
Why because when I hear former WWE you guys know
me right, it doesn't get really bigger wrestling fan than me.
I know wrestlers that have never appeared in WWE. I
know wrestlers who are in NXT Japan aw. I know
their real names, I know their stage names. You know,
as it's well documented.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
I don't know this name, oh man.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
I don't know if it's because I don't know if
it's because and I'm not trying to knock it. I
don't know if it's because he wrestled as fill in
the blanket, that's the name, I would know. I don't
know if he was mainly just down in the performance center.
What I will say is that the parenthetical of former
WWE to me is generous because anyone.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
Who has even had a cup of coffee.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
On WWETV, I for the most part recognize and know. Okay,
So unless he is Grande Americano the luchador out there
wrestling on raw under the mask, which I'm pretty sure
is actually Chad Gable, unless he's him, or unless he's
been wrestling a psychosis for thirty years, I do not
know Gabe why, and I would imagine WWE is probably

(50:28):
like a very shiny, eccentric, nice way of putting what
his formal credentials are. That is not knocking it, because
again I respect every wrestler, whether they've ever appeared on
WWTV or not, whether they wrestle for BRCW or GCW
or wherever. So just the fact that he's a wrestler
or was a wrestler as cool. But do you know

(50:50):
more about this? Do you know how far he got
up the chain or why they're calling him former WWE.
Am I just an idiot?

Speaker 3 (50:54):
No, he was NXT and I don't know exactly how
long he did NXT, but I think he was released
from WWE like four years ago or something like that,
so I think it's it's it's been a while, maybe
two years ago, something like that. Between two and four
years he's been he's been out of NXC. I found I.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
Found the article about when he said, Okay, Gabriel why
spent the last two years at lynden Wood University as
a student athlete on the men's rugby team. That's actually
more exciting to me than the wrestling pass as far
as yeah, chi.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
And he's played in like XFL or like Canadian Football
League as like a full back, like this is a
big athletic dude.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Gabe has eventually decided to hang up the cleats. He
is currently training hard for his debut in World Wrestling Entertainment.
Six six, two hundred and sixty pound front and second
rower for the men's rugby team has been force forcing
the conference, clocking in big shifts against Strategically, I guess
are okay, let's see when ww contacted why he was
enticed by the opportunities the profession may provide for his future.

(51:58):
Why was flown out to Florida for a week long
trial where he earned a third call and was chosen
in the first round to join w So, so I wonder,
because I just searched Gabe, why now let me search?

Speaker 1 (52:07):
Yeah, I searched Gabey NXT.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
I haven't really found a picture of him wrestling, which
is surprising.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
So what if if I had to guess? If I
had to guess, and I think.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
I did just find him on the picture of his
recruiting class, seeing if I recognize any of the other
faces and names from it. So the way NXT works
now is a little different from how it worked in
the past. What they do now is they recruit athletes.
Mileage might vary on whether they're even a wrestling fan
or not. It helps if they are, but they go

(52:40):
and they recruit high level college athletes from all sports,
whether it be track and field obviously football is a
big one, rugby, as you see, gymnastics, especially for women, swimming,
et cetera. That's how they found like Tiffany Stratton, Bianca
bell Air and they bring them to NXT and they
try to kind of mold them and completely craft them
from scratch.

Speaker 1 (52:59):
These are people who have never had a match on
the indies, right.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
That's completely different from how they used to do it
and still sometimes do it where they'll bring in someone
like Kevin Owens who's had a twenty year career beforehand,
or AJ Styles, or recently they brought on a few
women who have had huge careers overseas, Stephanie Vcaer and
Julia and people like that.

Speaker 1 (53:16):
They just brought in.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Mariah May who is now Blake Monroe. But so if
I had to guess, and maybe someone can correct me, Gabe,
why was probably someone who was recruited, brought into NXT,
signed to a developmental deal, did the whole performance center thing,
and probably never made it to full on. NXT has
a name, has a gimmick wrestling on Wednesday or Tuesday

(53:39):
nights whenever NXT's on.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
I want to say Tuesday. And that's if I had
to guess.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
So he's more of a former WWE trainees, what I
would say is the way to kind of but look,
I get it. If he's never been on a reality show,
you want to make him sound special you call him
former WWE, just gonna, you know, score a win for
the wrestling fans who have never heard the name.

Speaker 1 (53:59):
It's not you, it's me kind of thing.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
It's one of those you know it, you know, it's
a little bit of a you know, it's not like
Leo Rush right where Leo Rush was really former WWE.
Leo Rush went from appearing on WWE television and Wrestling
on Monday Night Raw.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
To being released on April fifteen, twenty.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
And twenty two, appearing on Double Ah's Leo Rush is
former WWE. All right, guys, just a quick break from
our season forty one cast breakdown to remind you that
all season long, Derek and I will be breaking down
episodes of season forty one As soon as they drop.

Speaker 1 (54:33):
Episode finishes on MTV.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
You can head over to challengemaniacs dot com and watch
or listen to us breaking down that week's episode. Of course,
we're gonna keep pumping out the interview podcast. Those go
up on the free feed. However, you can watch them
in full gorgeous video. Look at our guests, Watch our guests,
watch us interview that. You can submit questions.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
Over at Challengemaniacs dot com.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
Now's a great time to go over there and sign
up at the Maniac level or above.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
That is the tier that gets you the bonus.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
But of course all of our pre sales begin with
a multi tiered pre sale process. Savage level patrons get
first crack at tickets, then Diesel level patrons, then Maniact
level patrons, then all patrons.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
They are very important.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
VIP tickets are the ones that come with the meet
and greets for most of our events, although our party
on the thirtieth of July, you everyone will probably be
able to meet most, if not all the cast members
in attendance, similar to Pittsburgh this coming Saturday, all the
tickets come with MEE and Greed.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
Occasionally we are able to do that.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
However, most of our shows, the GA tickets come only
with the show.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
Those are the ones that are usually left over after
the VIP tickets go.

Speaker 2 (55:38):
So if we are coming to your city, and a
lot of these cities we only get to every twelve months,
every eighteen months, every twenty four months. Sometimes some cities
we're coming to for the first time. Still, if you
want to make sure you don't miss out on the
opportunity to meet the cast members after the show, you
want to take part at one of those pre sales
Maniact levels. A great one to do because it unlocks
that bonus content. You can join us all season long

(55:58):
and you can make sure you miss out on the
VIP tickets and it's only fifteen dollars a month. So
support the podcast and trust us we will make it
worth your while. We also have the Challenge Mania Hall
of Fame, something we do every year, that's going to
be coming down the pipe very soon.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
Here.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
You'll be able to vote for that and get a
ton of bonus content revolving around the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (56:16):
All right, more with our episode, or I should say our.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
Season breakdown launching season forty one with Derek and myself.
Here we go, Oh, real quick segue. While we're talking
about things and shows and casts being announced. Another cast
that was just announced. We knew that Mike Themiz was
going to be the host of This Gladiator's reboot on Amazon.
What we didn't know was a bunch of wrestlers current
and former Rick Boogs from WWE who was let go

(56:40):
a few months ago. But people might know Rick Boogs
and then Wardlow, who's very very much still under contract
with aw one of my favorite guys over there.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
They will be on the gladiator side.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
So for those of you guys who don't know American gladiators,
theres people who are gladiators and they bring in quote
unquote regular people to compete against them and try to win.
And then our you know, fellow challenger here, Fessel Schaffatt
is also.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
One of the gladiators and big news for him, love that.
I think this is perfect for him.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
We I will admit, we had known he had tried out,
because he did it around when we had him in Minnesota.
He'd either just come from the tryout or who was
going to the tryout afterwards, and I hadn't heard from
him since on it.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
I'd assumed he didn't make it.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
Good on him for obviously you know, uh, not breaking
confidentiality or whatever, because I was excited to see when
they announced the full cast during Hollywood Reporter press release
this week that he will be representing the challenge. The
more there are more challenges, more challenge representation on that
than there is on season four of The Traders. So uh,
Kudu's to Fessel, I think that's awesome him.

Speaker 3 (57:44):
And and what's it called Wes's foe?

Speaker 4 (57:47):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (57:47):
Your your brother's first wrestling.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
Jesse Jesse Goddards.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
Yes, so Jesse Goddards, who some of you might know
from wrestling tna OV War, some of you guys might
go from Big Brother mister Spectacular.

Speaker 3 (57:59):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
He also was on House of Villains with Wes and
very famously is the reason Wes did not go home
with a nice chunk of change. He made him beg
and then he still gave the money to the other guy.
So he's a heel in the West and Bergman House.
I'll tell you that he will also be one of
the gladiators on that season. So we were probably gonna
watch it or at least check you in on it anyway,
but now you got a million reasons to watch this thing.

Speaker 3 (58:20):
So is there an air date for that? Because that's
that's literally like our national pastime for guys like me.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
Let me see if there's an air date for it.
And I don't know if it's going to be an
air or a premiere kind of all drop thing Amazon
because it is Amazon, So are they going to drop
the whole thing?

Speaker 1 (58:38):
Is it going to be a I don't see a date.

Speaker 3 (58:45):
That's crazy. They just like film one season for like whatever,
a month, three weeks, and then it's over.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
Well, you know, it's always been one of those evergreen
kind of shows. I remember watching American Gladiators as a kid,
and I couldn't even tell what year it was from,
let alone what day or month or week it was filmed.
You know what I mean, The idea that it doesn't
really matter. If I had to guess, it's not going
to be a continuous, ongoing thing. It's probably going to
be similar. I have the cast in front of me,

(59:21):
so trying to think of any other names jump out
at me. I do believe there's one other female wrestler
on here as well whose name escapes me.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
But yeah, I festieh fot Orlando, Florida. Love that and yeah,
very exciting. So all right, let's go back to this.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
All right, So real quick, you know, did you know
anything about de Viadars Because she's probably number one on
the rookie list for me, she's number one for a
lot of reasons. So just to give you a little
crash course on d which I'm sure you've probably got
in real life, but for our listeners, you know, season
forty five a Survivor.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
She had a great season.

Speaker 2 (59:58):
She was, you know, great physically, great socially, just was
you know, key part of a major alliance that kind
of ran the game. And she also kind of played
her alliance as well as her kind of number one
and sort of showmance like a fiddle. Ended up winning
the thing very convincingly. She then goes on to you know,
co host the Jeff Props podcast for a season. She's
from Miami. She's great on social media if you haven't

(01:00:19):
seen her on there, She's roam with d As soon
as she popped up on Survivor and as soon as
I clicked on her Instagram, I'm like, oh, she's got
a challenge written all over her without you know, spread
spreading too much gossip. People who follow that scene know
that she was also involved in sort of a post
Survivor forty five romance scandal ish with a big name

(01:00:40):
from the Survivor community, Wendell Holland good friend of ours
obviously Bryson WNN presents Purple Pants podcast as you know,
great podcaster, party host, Survivor.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
Winner all around. She and him, I got I guess
got entangled a little bit something that social.

Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
Media kind of ran with and you know, you know,
whether whether both of them or one of them want
or lost a lot of fans through that. I think
that was kept her in the news at least for
a year or two after her Survivor season, so that
I don't want to say that that's kind of something
for the Challenge resume, but you know, I'm not gonna lie.
That is probably something that Challenge gods look at if

(01:01:17):
they are privy to that. So she I think has
been on the top of my Challenge wish list since
I watched Survivor forty five, which is now four seasons ago.

Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
So I'm very excited to see her play.

Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
I am also excited to see her potentially shack up
or at least a hook up maybe with some of
the Challenge whether they be vets or threats guys out there,
because we know that I believe she is single, as
are some of the newly single Vets both sides of
the ball here.

Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
So did you know anything about her going into this?

Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
I think I knew that she won Survivor and that
I think it was brought to our tension in Philadelphia.

Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
Yeah, but she was maybe in the that she was
maybe in the mix.

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
For this and yeah, yeah, yeah with with Johnny and
Mark and and and and I think we had at
least were like, oh yeah, this makes sense, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
Yeah, So.

Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
That's all I really knew, you know, and and and
so you know, you guys will meet her. Uh. You know,
I can only say so much. But like I, you know,
I didn't know how to take her at first. And uh,
we'll see how this story continues, all.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Right, Well, yeah, real quick, any more thoughts on the
threats because I do have to run soon.

Speaker 1 (01:02:41):
I know everyone eats what I mentioned the heart out,
but I do have to get onto it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Let me just go quick. Let me just go quick.
With the people that you guys don't know. Uh, Jake
was from Love Island. Uh. He is very athletic. Uh,
he has shared the ring. Uh. Ben Ben does know
about this guy. He watched him fight. He's a DJ.
I think he's got a big following out there in
the UK. He's Love Island UK Leo Leonardo, He's also

(01:03:10):
Love Island, but Love Island USA. This is a very
big personality. Former D one baseball player Young twenty four
years old again Jake twenty five years old. I think
Leo twenty four years old. Like, these guys are serious
threats already, let's keep going with the guys. Will Will
are you the one? I think he's on the older

(01:03:32):
one of the older guys, big guy, former military. I
think he served in the Marines for four years. Big threat,
justin from Cheer. This is a guy that you don't
think we're gonna look at him and be like, he
doesn't look athletic, he doesn't look scary. This dude is

(01:03:56):
is much better than and what meets the eye. So
give this guy a chance. Great personality, that cheer background.
You're about to see what it brings to the challenge.
Realm Cedric was on the last Big Brother. I think

(01:04:16):
he had just a short stay. Very loyal, very honest,
almost too honest for games like this. And also recently
former military. I think he just got out of the
Marines a year ago. Is a former Marine of the Year.
So just so you know what us old heads have
looking down the pipe, it's guys like this former military, Jeremy,

(01:04:43):
this guy he was on Amazing Race thirty five. This
guy is a ultra marathon runner so and former military.
So once again you know what we got our we
got we we we have us vets have have you know,
have up against us our guys like this, he's the
more like he's the guy with the longer hair. Jear me,

(01:05:04):
he is the guy with the younger, longer hair. The tattoos.
He's got a dragon tattoo that goes from like his
thigh to like his neck. Everyone will be looking at
this guy. Uh uh, I'm just gonna finish with the guys. Gay.
We talked about him, Okay, that's it. So for the females,
is he too hot to handle?

Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
She's gonna be one of those people that you're like,
you know, holy shit, this is what the girls have
to go up against. Uh. Former I think professional hockey
player in that in that UK world. I really don't
know what kind of hockey it is. I thought it
was ice hockey. It's more of like field hockey, so
field hockey pro. Who else here blue in America? I

(01:05:49):
think they were from the same season of Big Brother.
Two of those more like well known faces that I
that I had recognized Adrian from Married at first sight. Uh,
you know, more just more surprising, all these all these
females and are just super surprising, like when you see
them on the field and what they bring to the table,

(01:06:11):
you will be very surprised. And then finally Tay, she's
from She's a Big Brother Winner from Australia fifteen. She
was on that season with her sister, I think twin sister.
And again all these females, just like super Surprising, there
will be a challenge. Our top tier females from the

(01:06:32):
Vets side will be challenged by these newer threats.

Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Love that.

Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
All right, let's make our way to the Vets and guys,
if you're listening to this and you love us a
bit questions. What we're gonna do is once this is announced,
obviously you have your thoughts, put them in the comments,
but we'll also put up a separate questions thread, and
then hopefully when we get a bit of more information,
maybe even a teaser or a trailer, we will be
answering your questions doing a full other bonus podcast as
soon as I'm back up in New York. Derek and

(01:06:59):
I will answer all of your questions. To get your
thoughts over here at challengemaniacs dot com. All right, let
me ask you about a few specific here. We'll start
with Nannie. This is the first single season for Nannie single,
of course her dating status since we've seen her play
alongside Casey Clark. That romance obviously blossomed on the show,
then continued on and off the show.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
Her most season recent season.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
All Stars five, aired around the time that their relationship
was ending, but of course was filmed when they were
very much still in the thick of things. This is
the first post relationship season for Nannie in quite some time.
Talk about Nannie. Have you ever played with Have.

Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
You ever played with Nannie?

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
Never played with Nannie? And that's insite to me, by
the way, to hear that, Yeah, thirteen and fourteen seasons
and never played together. Very interesting, So I would say,
like we've always been cool, but also like never played together,
don't have many moments to share, but also respect each

(01:07:58):
other very much. What I'll be looking for for here
is curious to see how she does, curious to how
see how she is in person, both on the field
and off the field. Who she's connected with. But right
off the bat, we know that they were part uh
Nanny and and Turbo were partners on on Rivals All Stars,

(01:08:20):
and instantaneously there's a connection there right, like, but you
don't know whether it's for better or for worse because
they were rivals, but at the same time, they played
an entire season together where they were, you know, bound
to each other, bonded to each other, and then they
come onto the season. It's kind of like similarly to

(01:08:40):
what Anissa and and and and uh and and Ashley
Mitchell art. It's like they they played together, are they
but they were rivals? But are they friends? What are
they now?

Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
You know? It's ask a quick question.

Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
Let me ask a quick question about Rivals because I
always think this is interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
It almost seems like this happens every season.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
And now that this is another instance in which you
guys filmed this pretty much during when Rivals was airing, Right,
So here we are in real time watching and finding
out about the Anissa and Ashley rivalry, about seeing Turbo
and Nanni, their ups and downs, their fights, they're working together,
they're eventually being eliminated, et cetera.

Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
This is happening while you guys are filming. Now.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
I know some of you guys have seen some of
the episodes. I believe up to three or four. I
forget how much of Rivals for instance, is in the
public consciousness to you guys, Like, for instance, is like
you know who won Rivals? Obviously they're not on this season,
Adam and Steve, Like, but like is that stuff like is.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
It only privy to the people who played on Rivals?

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Do you find that the Lee Roys and the Anissas
and the Turbos and whatnot have a bit of a
dynamic advantage in that they know what happened on Rivals
and you guys don't or does that stuff not really matter?

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:09:54):
No, it's very like kind of like what Ashley was
saying in her video. It's like it's like man, Tory
and Anissa get to watch all the episodes and know,
you know, the social dynamics between with everybody, but you don't.
And in this instance, it's like kind of Ashley has
the upper hand because she knows what happened in that season.

(01:10:22):
Now she doesn't know what it looks like completely because Anissa,
you know, Anissa potentially gets to see the rest of
the episodes.

Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
Right.

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
But and to be fair, I went on the show.
I left on the show just after that Anissa Ashley
redneck fight. That was the last thing that I saw
going into season forty one. But then when I saw
them at the airport, they're like completely besties. Like I

(01:10:55):
saw what I thought, you know, the opposite of what
I was expecting to see. I was expecting them to
be nowhere near each other, and they're the ones sharing
wine together laughing. So it's very it's it's very convoluted,
you know. The information is very mysterious, right like where

(01:11:16):
I would think where I'm not exactly sure where Nanni
and Turbo stand because their rivals and we know about
his his sort of nature. You don't really know where
Nanni and Turbo stand when I'm going on the airplane,
you know, so, and everyone's playing the game, so it's
all kind of a mystery, you know, of how close

(01:11:37):
everyone is to each other. If that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
No, I love that. Now. Okay, let's go through and
real real quick.

Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
I mean, it's like we mentioned THEO and Olivia, they're
very blatantly a couple.

Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
We know that obviously.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
You've got Nanni and Leroy, who go way back.

Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
You've got Nanni and Turbo who just played together and
obviously kind of hit their stride later on. We've got
you and Rogan, who we know like each other. We've
got Carl Maria on there, who it seems like from
season to season bounces back and forth between who she
can rely on or whatnot.

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
But CT is there.

Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
Her and CT obviously have a long, illustrious relationship, be
both being from Boston as well.

Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
Aviv is there. We know you and Aviv obviously know
and like each other.

Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
We've got Johnny Bananas, who can either be, you know,
the focal point of the show, the main target of
the show this and that what we're looking at this group,
whether now or back then, who do like jump out
at you as potential pockets of allegiance not necessarily that
play out that way, but are you worried that it's
like this person has too many people at their disposal

(01:12:37):
or not enough, et cetera, et cetera, yourself included.

Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
Well, well, the ones that jump out at me right away.
It's like, I'm close with CT, I'm close with Johnny Bananas.
And those two act nice to each other, but they're
not really completely like on the same side. They don't
have the same views, they don't have the same friends,
they don't they don't walk the same line. They almost
walk like separate lines, and then they they meet at

(01:13:01):
some point, and it's so it's it's very like like
for me, like I like, if I know, like, oh,
Durrell and Mark, I'm walking into the season with Durrell
and Mark. I'm like, Durell Mark, let's let's move together
as a unit, you know, like whereas I would love
to be like, hey, CT and Johnny, let's just move together.
But it's it's not that simple. It's because they they

(01:13:23):
they don't get along with the same people, you know
what I mean. So it's it's it's kind of like,
although you have allies and you think you have allies
to a certain extent, you don't know how far that
ally ship goes, and you don't know how far their
allyship goes with other people. So this is this is
this is going to be this is a very difficult
game for me to navigate because, uh, there's they're there.

(01:13:46):
You like everyone, and you want to be friends with everyone.
You don't want to ruffle feathers with anyone, but then
again you you're kind of forced to. And that's without
even knowing knowing the rules of the game. That's just
like life in general. Who do I pick over? Who
do I pick. You know what I mean, Who have
I known longer? And how long do I you know,
do we continue this? You know? How strong is our friendship?

Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
But like you mentioned before, a Viv and again this
is a quick takes guys, So the long season ahead
you mentioned you know Aviv.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
And even john even Johnny are thick as thieves. She's
helping him run his business down there in Florida. They
obviously have got foot connection. Uh you know, so is
a Viva number for Johnny? From where I sit, looks
like she probably will be or what was if I'm
gonna guess, yeah, going into this thing, if I'm Johnny
and I look across the airport Starbucks and I see

(01:14:40):
that little Israeli, I'm pretty happy to see those tiny toes.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Yeah, yeah, And we're on the same page with that,
and I feel the same way. I'm thinking, I'm going
in here, and I'm like, that's gotta be like my
close one, right, but along with like Anissa, like I
could I couldn't see, you know myself, like know, doing
a Nissa wrong, you know what I mean? Like you know,

(01:15:05):
and then you go down the line even with like
in Olivia, like you know, like where where does she stand?
You know, where does she lie? You know?

Speaker 1 (01:15:12):
And with who?

Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
So it's like you know it this this quickly becomes
a slippery slope when you start, you know, choosing one
over the other and you know your friendship and how long?
And I know, I know I've said that now for
my second time here, but this is this is uh,
you know, even like a guy like Turbo, right, like

(01:15:35):
you go in there and he's like one of the
most stand up guys, like you see him as this
like big villain at some point, right, Like he's one
of those people like if you get on his bad side,
you're on his bad side, right, Like if you get
on if you're on his good side. Like you guys
are like besties, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Yeah, there's a couple other people on here wild cards
won't to ask you about before we go. And by
the way, I want to say, uh, people always go
are they gonna do another fresh meanti? Are they gonna
do the fresh meat? I've said it before. There will
never be another fresh meat the way that fresh meat
one and two were, which which is that the quote
unquote fresh meat were people you had never heard or
seen from ever before.

Speaker 1 (01:16:10):
That will not happen.

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
What we have gotten with War of the World's Season
one and this are fresh meats seasons three and four.

Speaker 1 (01:16:16):
Make no mistake.

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
What you will get now are reality stars who have
never been on the Challenge, and they will be quote
unquote fresh meat. In my opinion, the vets versus new threats.
I mean that to me is the same thing as
fresh meat. Half the cast are Challenge favorites and veterans returnees,
and the other half for people who have never played.

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
This is as close as we're getting.

Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
So I'm saying that this is officially, or at least
unofficially fresh meat for two people. I have to ask
you about quick thoughts, But like I said, we're going
to do a follow up pod later in the week.
Nia Moore, your first time playing with her? And then
I got to ask Ashley Mitchell your first time? I believe, no,
not no, it was actually on the thirty five.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
I actually actually I played with Nya on All Stars three.

Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
Oh right, okay, cool, so never so, so okay, I'm
an idiot. You play with Nia on All Stars three?
All right, let's go to Nia first. Naya All Stars three.
When you see that she's coming, does she fall in
the category of wild card. You'd never know what it's
gonna be like with her. You think you're in good
standing with her.

Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
I think I'm in good standing with her. And we
have this this elimination from All Stars three where I
beat m Jane, she beats Sylvia with a one hole putt.
She does a hole in one in her elimination versus Sylvia,
which seemed to be a huge upset at the time
because Sylvia was a huge front runner at that time

(01:17:35):
and you know, so yeah with Nia, like you just
it's it's it's it's entertainment because she's she's just you know, and.

Speaker 1 (01:17:45):
Should be noted.

Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
Neither of her love interests from season forty, Kyland Young
or Josh Martinez two.

Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
I would say interesting omissions here.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
Both those guys obviously Kylon with the great finish on forty,
and both those guys used quite a bit in the
last five six seasons. Not appearing here, you will see
Kyland on a screen near you once another season's cast
is announced.

Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
I'll say that that's a tease.

Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
And then also Josh Martinez, as we know, is appearing
on shows left and right, so no shortage of FaceTime
for those guys, but they're not here, so Nya might
have to find some new love interests.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
We'll see if she does. Last name.

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
I want to ask you about real quick, Ashley Mitchell.
I forget now before I step on my own history again.
Have you played with Ashley Mitchell before?

Speaker 3 (01:18:27):
I think that on Dirty thirty she showed up that
first night and then she was gone the next night
and we didn't see her leave. So I think that
was the last time I played with her really and
we didn't really play and I think we we but
we did get to know her quite a few times

(01:18:47):
with a few podcasts there, you know, over time, and
then we kind of lost her.

Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
And then and she wasn't one of She wasn't the
mercenary alongside you on Vendettas right.

Speaker 3 (01:18:58):
No, no, no, she was, and was Tory and and
and Anissa or yeah, yeah, right, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:19:05):
So, as as we know, we have had ups and
downs with Asha Mitchell in the past. She was one
of our favorite guests for the first two years of
the podcast. We haven't had her on in a while,
but can you tease for us you just spent a
few months with her, do you think we might be
having her back.

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
I you know, you never know, it's it's one of
She's one of those people too. I think that it's like, uh,
you know, if you if you're on her bad side,
you're not gonna get You're not gonna really get back.
If you're on her good side, she loves you, and uh,
you know, so the only time will tell And let
me tell you, she definitely stays interesting as she always does. No,

(01:19:41):
no wonder she's on another TV show. No wonder she's
back in the mix is because she's highly entertaining and
uh she you know, when when you're on a good side,
she really does have that heart of gold when you're
when you know things are going good. So there's you're
going bad though, watch out.

Speaker 1 (01:19:57):
You know what, I'll mobilize the mania. What you guys
can do.

Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
You can let her know that we're happy to see
her back. We were happy to see her back on
season five. We're happy to see her back on this.
You can let her know that even over the past
few years, I have never stopped saying, uh that she
is one of the best additions to the show. We're
happy to see her back in the fold. Let her
know you want to hear her on Challenge Mania. Let
her know you want to hear on the see her
on the live shows. Who knows, Maybe she even forgot

(01:20:22):
she wanted to do that. Maybe that's our best pat right.

Speaker 1 (01:20:24):
Maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
Yeah, she has one of the best Challenge Mania quotes
I've ever heard. She's like a fuck A fight, I cry,
I fuck, I fight, I cry, I don't know. Why
don't get get on these shows, or something like that.
It was it was, uh, it was awesome. All those

(01:20:46):
podcasts were highly entertaining as well. She brought a pet pig.
She had a pet pig at some point. We got
to bring that one back. That one was a classic.
Or she brings a pet pig on the podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:20:56):
All right, well, to quote a movie, I believe that
will do. Pig, that'll do.
