Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good afternoon, beloved sisters in Christ. May the Lord bless you.
Once again. We are here in our new season of
the program among Us. We welcome my sister Rosemares and
I to this new season where we will be sharing
topics on spiritual and personal well being, because, as the
Word teaches us, in Him is all fullness and deity

(00:22):
in you bodily, and the Word says that in Him
we are complete. As Christian women, we must learn to
live a life of fullness that is pleasing. The new
season is not only about us as Christian women seeking

(00:44):
to grow in our spiritual realm, which is of course
the most important part of our lives, but also about
developing topics that help us and contribute to our personal development,
so that, for the glory of God, we can be
better in any area of our life, wherever the Lord
allows us to be and wherever the Lord does not
allow us to be. So once again we welcome you

(01:05):
to our program among us. Wow, how interesting, Iliana, what

(02:20):
you've shared with us, especially knowing that there are practical
things that we can do when it comes to freeing
ourselves from this stress, from these difficult situations anxieties. But
I loved something that I want to highlight, regarding the
example of Daniel who took that time alone with God,

(02:42):
we know that we are not islands. First of all,
we have a great God, a sovereign God, and as
he says, cast your burden on me, so the burden
should not be ours to bear, but rather we should
place it on him. And secondly, knowing that we have
a people, sisters in Christ, who are willing and ready

(03:03):
to help us, to support us in prayer. So how
beautiful to think about that that we are not alone,
and that we must watch over each other as a
family and faith to take care of each other and
protect each other and provide each other with assistance. But
something I want to highlight, Iliana to everyone listening, is

(03:25):
to also be intentional with my diet, with what I watch,
with what I listen to, with the RESTful sleep that
I need each day. It's very important because if we
don't take care of what we eat, if we don't
take care and ensure that we get the necessary hours
of sleep, then we won't be good administrators and good
stewards of our bodies. So how important it is to

(03:52):
be intentional. And along those lines, I want to ask
you one more question, Illiana, you could finally give some
advice today to someone who has lost their peace. Hem,
we know that we live in a very busy, very
troubled world. If you could give someone who has lost

(04:13):
their peace, what truth or spiritual practice would you give
them so that they remember that there is still hope.
The answer is found in Jesus himself when he said
in John chapter fourteen, verse twenty seven. Peace I leave
with you my peace. I give to you. Not as
the world gives, do I give to you. And the

(04:35):
peace that the world promises always depends on circumstances. That is,
it depends on whether you have money, whether you are successful,
whether everything goes well. But the peace that Christ offers
is very different. And it is a peace that guards
our hearts even when we are troubled, when we are
in a storm. And I tell you that if today

(04:56):
you feel that you have lost your peace, what I
want to give you is this true. First, you are
not alone. And Psalm chapter thirty four, verse eighteen says
that the Lord is near to the broken hearted and
saves those who are crushed in spirit. And God does
not turn away from your pain. I apologize on the contrary,

(05:22):
he draws closer than ever when you are sad, when
you are dejected, when you are anxious. And second, I
want to invite you to a very simple but powerful practice.
Pray to the Lord. Pray to the Lord. And I'm

(05:42):
not telling you to pray a religious prayer or to
say pretty words, but to pray a prayer with a
sincere heart, from the depths of your heart, even if
it's saying, Lord, I'm tired, but I trust in you.
That's a prayer from the heart. And when we pray

(06:03):
like that, we empty ourselves before God of anxiety and depression,
and he promises that the peace of God, which surpasses
all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in
Christ Jesus. And Third, remembering that hope is nourished every
day by small actions, by opening the Bible, even if

(06:26):
it's just to read a psalm, by taking a walk
in the fresh air, by talking to a brother or sister,
instead of isolating ourselves, because that's what the enemy wants
for us, to isolate ourselves and stay in darkness. When
the Lord invites us to walk in the light, we
need to be in the light. And finally, there is

(06:50):
a verse that always comforts my heart and is a
promise that sustains my soul. And it is Jeremiah chapter
twenty nine, verse eleven that says, for I know the
thoughts that I think towards you, declared the Lord thoughts
of peace and not of evil, to give you a
future and a hope. So if today you feel weak,

(07:14):
remember that there is still hope, and that in Christ,
the last word is never anxiety, nor depression nor sadness.
The last word belongs to the one who rose on
the third Day, who has the power to change everything,
and who can give you that peace that nothing else
can give you. So my prayer is to listen to

(07:40):
the voice of God when he says, do not be afraid,
for I am with you. Do not be discouraged, for
I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will
always help you, and I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand. Quote. And that is the certainty that,
in other words, the certainty that does not abandon us,
because we trust that God will not abandon us. Amen. Amen,

(08:08):
how beautiful the word of God is, Anna, And what
a blessing it has been to have you with us
this afternoon. We have been greatly challenged and edified by
all your contributions this afternoon, which have been very valuable
and truly edifying for us. It has been like a refreshment.

(08:29):
I know that it has been for Rosie as well,
and I know for everyone you will have the opportunity
to watch this program, you will also receive that wonderful
refreshment that you have brought us. We are truly very
grateful to God for you, and very grateful that you
have been available and willing to share with us this
afternoon on our program. And this term living in balance

(08:58):
means that we have to learn to live in balance,
as Ileana explained to us the importance of maintaining our physical, mental,
and spiritual health and constant balance, always guided by the
Word of God. Eleiana shared some very key verses with us,

(09:20):
wonderful that fill us with hope and comfort and give
us strength to know that we are not lost, that
Christ has much more for us than that. In reality,
although our humanity sometimes makes us feel like we can
do no more wrong, in Christ, we are more victorious,
as the Word says, through the One who loves us.

(09:43):
So it was a pleasure to have you with us
this afternoon. It truly is a great blessing and I
am truly very very grateful that you have taken this
time to share with us everything you have right. Thank
you for the invitation. For me, it has been a
blessing and a challenge, So thank you very much for

(10:03):
the opportunity. And that's it. We will continue here. Yes.
Something I want to encourage all our audience who are
watching us to do is share these teachings with your friends, family, neighbors,
and subscribe to among us. It is important to know

(10:27):
your reaction if this has been a blessing to your
life and encourages us to continue moving forward and prepare
ourselves better for what the Lord has for you and
for us. So do not forget to share the link,
subscribe and be able to spread these messages that are
such a blessing to our lives. Amen. And it is

(10:49):
also very important for us to contribute your comments when
someone approaches us or makes a comment saying that our
program is a blessing that is good. We would like
if you have been criticized with any of our programs
to tell us do not be afraid comment and let
us know that you are being as edified as we
are watching you. So my sisters, we thank you for

(11:19):
being with us. Killiana once again, thank you, and we
pray that this time will be very edifying for all
of you. So we will see you next time and
may God bless you back
