How to study the Bible: IX. How to cut off sin: Since we all live in a world that find pleasure in sin, the question is how can we combat sin? Paul writes: that we need to be a living scrifice, and holy, which is a life style. We need to be in fellowshio with those that are following Christ and the apostle teaching in unity with the scriptures. (Romans 12:4). Within the content of the one body, there should be helps (Romans 12: 5&6, Ephesians 4:11-13).

eternity with the Lord this morning. What about you? What
about you?

Speaker 5 (39:01):
I was thinking this more, that's what God intends for
us right from.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
The beginning, to spend eternity key with him, praising him,
loving him, and being with him eternity. But since sins
and man sin sail from grace, Jesus God knew how

(39:31):
to lie his son to come down on this cruel
world to show us how love lived, and he died on.

Speaker 5 (39:39):
The cross of us, making that connection for us again.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
With the Father.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
So, my friend, the only way we would have a
connection with the fallow this morning is in Jesus Christ
and following his example, following the apostle exis and try
our best to live for him in this crooked and
diverse world. Amen and amen, Now you know what Vedoscar

(40:13):
wants you to do, right, Yes, baldoscar. You know what
you want us to do. You want us to get relaxed.
Well on't half our money, drink coffee, tea, milk, juice,
hot chocolate, cold chocolate. Oh, not the horse, I have
to think about that. Not the horse stuff, throw it

(40:36):
out the window and get relaxed. If we relax and
you reclining chair, reclining on back, if you are more relaxed,
sitting at your dining that table, have a seat.

Speaker 5 (40:49):
But what we request that you.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
Have in front of you this morning, it's a copy
of the Word of God. Because I we go by
here on chatting from the Word, which is Christ and
his word. And if you want to make heaven in
your home one day, we got to know Christ on

(41:15):
an intimate basis, not just know him on the surface base,
not just.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
I believe, But we need to get the noble Lord intimately.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
And our hope and pray that the many years that
we have come on the air that we have done
that we have introduce you to a Christ that love us.
Introduce you to Christ, have mercy on us. Introduce you
to Christ to hum and a cross and face to
cross for us and love us. And how can we

(41:55):
deny that. How can we deny a Lord that died
for us. He put it all on the line for
you and for me. On my friend, that's a deep,
deep abidying love. I said, gody love, a gody love

(42:20):
when someone would die for you. And we today should
have our same love, one for another. We should be
able to help our brothers and sisters to live for him.
We should be able to help our brothers sisters who's
tried and striving to make a difference when it comes

(42:44):
to souls a man. But most of us we just
treat it like it's nothing. Most of us we don't
even wake up to praise the Lord in the morning.
Most of us we don't think who will us up
this morning. We believe we just woke up this morning
and that's it. We don't give God the praise, glory

(43:07):
and honor we don't want. We don't even think about him.
We just think about what we need to do today
and the thief we need to do. But we don't
think about him. We don't pray to him, we don't
thank him for giving us another day or good morning.
Some of us don't think about him until we in
church Sunday, our eves. If something happened to us, we'll say,

(43:32):
help me, God, help me Lord, and then and then
it might be too late, if we call on him
too late. Oh, my friend, we need to have a
personal relationship with the Father's son and the Holy an

(43:53):
intimate relationship with them. I give with some delight that
you're with us, and if you've been with us quite
some time, and especially over the series that we are
teaching one and we're talking about how to study the Bible.
Of course, we mentioned that the Bible is written in
prospectively and retrospectively. We mentioned a free dispensation, the patriarch,

(44:18):
the mosaic, and the Christian dispensation, the dissosation that we're
living in today. And now we're looking back at the
patriarch dissosation, and we're looking back again as a patriarch Abraham,
and now we're in Genesis seventeen. But God changed Abram

(44:39):
to Abraham, and how God reminded him of his covenant,
and how God told him to be circumcised, cutting off
the fore skin, which is a token.

Speaker 5 (44:53):
Of the covenant between him and God. And we mentioned
that should we.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
Give God a token today, what is our token and
we mentioned too that it was a it's a token
of love. For Christ himself said.

Speaker 5 (45:11):
If you will, if you love me, keep my commandments.

Speaker 2 (45:16):
So, my friend, when we're keeping his commandments, when we
you know, being to him, that's our token of love
to him today. It's not cutting off of the foreskin today,
but it's living for him. It's cutting off the old
man and love a new man to shine through. And

(45:37):
we've been talking about how can we do that in
the world. Just don't respect God? In the world where
you have so many teachings, will come to scriptures. What
do we should what should we follow God? How could

(46:00):
we know the truth? But so many of us saying
they have the truth. That's why every morning I try
to mention the fact to get your Bible when we're
chatting about the word, so that you may see where
I'm coming from. I'm not gonna use a no by

(46:21):
law or by words or nothing like that. I'm coming
strictly from God's word and nothing less and nothing more.

Speaker 5 (46:33):
So, my friend, of you want salvation, I want to
know God instantly.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
We need to be in God's word and we need
to allow.

Speaker 5 (46:45):
The new Man shining to We need to.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
Cut off our sins for nature. And that's what the
circumcision is about. Today's cutting off, changing our minds when
it comes to sin, a man Braloskar cutting off sin.

(47:11):
How can we do that? First of all? John First,
John says, is to fellowshipting with one another.

Speaker 5 (47:21):
It's to helping one another Galatian six.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
It's to being there as the Church, the body of Christ,
for one another. And then we beard on yesterday it
turned with me to Romans twelve, and I believe that's
where we left off on yesterday. How can we maintain?

(47:50):
And I believe that's the word bl Oscar looking for.
How can we maintain, maintain this crystal life, this way
of life? Because my fan being a Christian more than
just ab season one, two three. It is a lifestyle

(48:12):
that we must adapt to if we want to make
heaven our home. Let me repeat that, because most of
us don't get it, do we? It is a lifestyle
that we must adapt to if we want to make

(48:33):
Heaven our work home. It's not about the one abc'son
one two three. It's about living for Jesus Christ. Living
in life is apostle that Paul even must say, follow
me as I follow Christ, follow me as I follow

(48:57):
Christ's first Corinthians one. But how can't we maintain that
Christian life?

Speaker 5 (49:04):
And in Romans tryl Paul.

Speaker 2 (49:08):
And I love the way he brings it out here.
Pauls it. First of all, we must present our bodies
in any sacrifice, which is our reasonable service.

Speaker 5 (49:23):
And it for all said, we must not be conformed
to this world.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
And that's the problems problem that many of us are having.
We allow the world to get into us. And instead
of telling the world about Christ and changing them, we
allow the world to change us. And we begin to
do what the world does and not worry about what
Christ says about certain things. In all the words, we're

(49:53):
conforming to this world, instead allowing the word of God
to transform us into the people that God wants us
to be. And the way we do that, And and
I say this every morning when we're on the air,
it's a fact that we are transformed by studying and

(50:15):
knowing God's word.

Speaker 13 (50:17):
Love God's word to transform us, Love God's word to
help us to grow, Love God's word to mature us
in Jesus.

Speaker 2 (50:29):
Christ this morning.

Speaker 5 (50:31):
And that's for Paul.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
In chapter and verse four Chapter Romans, twelve. He says,
for as we.

Speaker 5 (50:42):
Have many members in.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
How manybody, one body, one body, unity, those many members
to be unity, believe in the same doctrine, believing in
Christ Jesus, the teachings of the apostles, and following the example. Okay,

(51:09):
and all members have not the same office, all, my friends,
if all the members have the same office, we won't
be we be lost? Won't we we be lost? But
members have different offers. Turn with me, and I just

(51:29):
thought about this.

Speaker 4 (51:31):
Two.

Speaker 2 (51:32):
I believe what I'm looking for is the Seasons five,
Seasons five Effeesions five because.

Speaker 5 (51:43):
Although Paul.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
And the Seasons five is telling us, I believe I
have it right Epsions five, Paul is telling us to
submit to one another. And then he breaks it down.

(52:11):
He talked about the husband submitting to the wise and
the wise sliding to the husband, and then he talks about.

Speaker 5 (52:22):
How we should live and how we should allow the church.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
To be like a husbandry to us. He's comparing this
to the church and how we should reverence the church
and the relationship we should have to the Church, the
relationship we should have for one another.

Speaker 3 (53:00):
And he says that.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
All things work together, work together, and then if sasions four,
he says, and verse eleven called Paul going back to

(53:26):
almost twelve tells us that we don't have the same position.
The trusts should be filled with helps so that we
can help one another to grow in the nurture that
munition of the Lord. And here Paul is saying these

(53:51):
words and this Eason's four and vers eleve and he
says he gave sol apostles. We don't have apostles today.
And some prophets. We don't have prophets today, no need

(54:12):
for them because we have the Word.

Speaker 5 (54:16):
And some evan to us.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Yeah, if we need people to go out and tell
others about Jesus Christ, knock on doors, go tell others
about Jesus Christ. And sometime that takes. You got to
know how to do it. At times. Don't just out
and just think you can tell somebody about Christ and
they will understand it. You first got to understand and

(54:42):
work and know that position yourself. And these says and
some pastors and teachers. We have pastors today, it says
pastors with the s Okay, the church has pastors, and

(55:06):
that pastor and me today are confused about pastors. Pastors
is the same office as an elder. Pastors is the
same office as a presbyter. Elder elders and pests and

(55:29):
pastors are the same office.

Speaker 3 (55:34):
The church.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
Has pastors and that pastor. And if you in a
body and call themselves a body of Christ and have
one pastor, you in trouble because the example we have
here is pastors and not pastor masters and teachers and

(56:03):
teachers could be deacons. It could be brothers who can
teach well, or a sister that's teaching other sisters. Will
are young people? Will they say, for what reason? For
what reasons are these officers is in the body of Christ?

Speaker 5 (56:27):
Because Paul says they're romans.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Trouble. We all don't have the same office. But they
are in the body of Christ. For the perfecting of
the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
identifying of the Body of Christ, that we all come

(56:54):
to the.

Speaker 5 (56:54):
Unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son.

Speaker 2 (57:00):
Of God, and to a perfect man, to the measure
of a statue of the fullness of Christ. Or my friend,
and we didn't we need to have these officers in
the church. We need to help one another in the
body of Christ. We need to be able to guide

(57:25):
each other to that life that Christ wants us.

Speaker 5 (57:30):
To live in him.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
And like I said, that's the reason why we need
each other. And I tell everybody, tell anybody you need
each other so we can help one another. So that
we can help one another. That's why Christ dies for
be church. And I'm putting the emphasis.

Speaker 3 (57:56):
On be church.

Speaker 2 (57:59):
One body he dies. Christ has only one body. Carl says,
is Christ was Christ divided. Christ is not divided. But
the way may have teaching the word today they are
dividing Christ into so many sections. But Christ is not divided.

(58:22):
He's one, and his Father and the Holy Spirit work
as one, working together for the betterment of your soul
and my soul. So, my friend, if you want salvation,
you must come Christ's way, and we discuss that on
yes outcome, and we just hope and prayer.

Speaker 5 (58:45):
If you have not made your mind up to accept.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
Jesus Christ and him crucified, that you will do that
today before it's ebolapsically and eternally to the lake, cause
one day we'll be God may call you home, not
call you home if you're not living right. Of course,

(59:10):
you're not gonna go home with them, But you may
call you to your death. Who knows your time may
be up? Who knows only God knows? Here today, gone tomorrow,
Who knows only God knows. So, my friend, the best
thing we all can do is to live for Christ,

(59:33):
be an example to the unbelievers. And if your unbelieve
again to Christ, change your mind, change your heart, change
your life. Love of a new man is shying to
Don't be like oh man, don't keep looking back, but
look forward.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
Don't keep looking back, but look forward. Because you keep.

Speaker 2 (59:54):
Looking back, you know what's gonna happen. You're gonna miss
your blessing best ahead of you. And so, my friend,
we hope and pray this morning that we said enough
to make you think about the condition that your soul
is in, and if not, the body of Christ get there,

(01:00:16):
Get there, and get there when you say goodbye at
this time.

Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
We're so thankful to be with you this morning and
to bring.

Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
This chap to you, and we hope that we said
enough to call you to think about your soul condition,
what chafest your soul in? Are you ready if Christ
will come back at this time and say, Brother oscar Us,

(01:00:44):
I'm here, I'm ready to take the church home. We
be in that, in the Church, the body of Christ.
And that's something my friend, to ponder about. We pray
with me, please our Father, which are in heaven, How
it be thy name.

Speaker 5 (01:01:04):
That kingdom is here.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
I will indeed done. Father. We just want to thank
you for putting us in this ministry. Far it help
us to keep teaching and preaching your words, for they
help us to stay your word. Help us, Father, to
always make the right decision to teach and preach Your
word for the guide us, keep us guide our steps
as we try best to walk in Christ as Christ

(01:01:29):
and the apostles. Walt, oh Father, for we pray follow
our listeners. Father, far, we pray that you be with
them to help them to get to know your word.

Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
Those that don't know you, and those that do.

Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
Know you, help them to grow in the nurture and
admonition of the Lord. Now, may the grace of God's
wee communion of the honess, rest rule, and the Body
with us till meet again in Jesus blessed name.

Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
To we pray a man and a man.
