always we hope that we prayed for something that is
on your minds. And as we continue saying here, if
you do have a p every question, you consent it
to those entities we continue announcing here on chatting from
(37:33):
the word Amen and a Amen. Alright, alright, my friend,
when you hear the bell, it's time for our word chat.
(37:56):
So come on in too, into the r into the
classroom wherever you may be. Are you ready for the chat?
Are you ready for the chat? And we're so thankful
that we bring this program on as we do money
through Fridays to.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Allow you to wake up in the morning to hear
the beautiful word of God.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Because I believe we, as David says in Psalms twenty three,
that we should allow the Lord to be our shepherd
and know how the shepherd's leading us. We need to
know his word and basically we need to know his
voice when we hear it. But many today do not
know God's voice. They don't know God's will, and they
(38:46):
don't know God's way because they are not willing to
give up.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Time to study God's word.
Speaker 3 (38:53):
And many they don't get into God's word until Sunday
morning when they hear it from the porl pit. And
some just don't have a personal relationship with the mord.
A man brayscar is more to it than just hearing
it the gospel. Believing it is more to it than
(39:17):
just repenting of your sins. Is more to it than
confessing your faults. Is more to it than than baptized.
You must be a change person in Jesus Christ. And
many of us, as I just stated, even after we
(39:37):
become or be added to the body of Christ, many
of us do not really take it seriously, our commiting it,
or our covenant that we've made with Jesus Christ when
we was baptized into his body. Oh, many of us,
we just don't study God for it. And some of
(39:59):
us don't talk to him enough. If some don't talk
with him at all. In other words, if you don't
hear his voice by reading his word, and if you
don't have a prayer of life with him while you
can talk to him, you know what, you don't have
a relationship at all with the Father.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
You don't.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
And now if you just go to church on Sundays
and hear preacher a dynamic.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Sermon and not living the life, you don't have.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
A life of Christ at all, because it takes a
strong commitment when you first obeyed the Gospel, get baptized
and be added to the body of Christ. It takes
a strong here read of our scout this morning. It
takes a strong commitment to be in Jesus Christ and
(41:01):
to follow the apostles teachings and many of us, many
of us, to be honest with you, when I committed,
we want to feel good religion. We wanted one day
religion that's on Sundays or whatever, but we don't want
to commit and be in Jesus.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
It's more than just one day affair. It's a lifestyle.
It's a lifestyle. It's a twenty four hours if you
act bred Oscar affair.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
That we have with the Lord Jesus Christ, and then
God is all allowing the Holy Spirit in.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
Our hearts and our minds and our faults. It is
a commitment. My friend. You know what red Oscar wants
you to do? Correct right? Well, well, brod Oscar, we
want you to give relaxed go ahead.
Speaker 3 (41:54):
I don't have your favorite morning drink coffee, tea, milk, juice,
hot chocolate, not to what stuff you'll need that Throw
that out the window, chunk it. When we say chunk
that throw it out the window and get relaxed. We
more relaxing, reclimbing, chill, recline on out, even more relaxing.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
Didn't get your dine that table, Go ahead on and
have a seat.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
But what we request of you this morning is to
have a copy of the Word of God so that
you may see where we are chatting from. And we
hope that you will have a copy of God's Word.
And before I forget, let me say this. Last weekend,
myself and brother.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
Chris edwardst we talked. We talked.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
You know, Mary Chris ever was once our cold uh
host hell Chatting from the Word, and we're thinking about
bringing a to the same Chatting from the Word at
a different time. We're gonna keep the morning audition, but
we're gonna do an evening edition of Chadding from the Word.
(43:02):
And we hope myself and brother Chris and we hope
that they help you or give you enough time to
listen to us more than just the morning, but in
the evening too.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
That's the lessons and the things that we're teaching.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
From the Word of God, because that is the purpose
and the reason for this program is to help you
get to get to know Jesus Christ and him crucified,
and brother ASTs not giving up on that because.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
He loves the souls of men.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
And I love when people come to Christ and be
that ties and start that journey to heaven. All right,
this morning, if you have God's who come to God's work.
We been talking about how to study the Bible. We
(44:00):
have to some I recognize that we've been taken almost forever,
if I can say that, But what we're doing here
we're doing in exhausted study.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
Or how to study.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Bye, But because I believe that we need to learn
God's will, especially if one day we want to make
Heaven our home, especially if we want to live a
christ a life with Christ. As we are down here
(44:36):
on dessert, and Paul, he must say, for me to
live with us Christ, and for me to die is game.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
And that's why Paul feels about it, and we all
should feel that way about it.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
As we live, we should live for Christ. And when
we die, it's game because we be more like Him.
When we die, we be more.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
And now we're not in nobody no.
Speaker 3 (45:03):
More, but we in the spiriture rim. If I can
put it like that, all right, already did revealoska. So
it is a life, a Christian life is say, a
full life. It's a life of fulfillment, it's a life
of joy, it's a good life. It's a life of
(45:27):
happiness and blessings. And we're not talked by fiscal.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
Blessings, but all spiritual blessings.
Speaker 3 (45:36):
All the apostle says, all spiritual blessings are in Jesus Christ.
Oh what kind of blessing spiritual blessings. And many of
us we get confused. We get our fiscal blessings confused
with our spiritual blessing. Don't we we think that just
to call God blessed us with this fantastic job, all
(46:00):
the moneys, this beautiful car we took back, God blessing us. Oh,
my friend might be Satan. Give me something to keep
you from coming to Jesus Christ, because you know Satan,
he's in a blessing business too. To make you happy,
he promised, He told Christ himself, if you just bobbed
(46:22):
down and worship me, I give you all bees kingdoms.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
And don't you think Satan would have done that? He
wouldn't have done that.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
But still yet Christ, and this was to come to
don the Cross to bring us closer to the Father where.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
We all could have salvation.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
Ill thank the Lord that he didn't pin his knees
to worshiping Bella a lost satan.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Amen and Amen this morning.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
But we want to still talking about how they study
the Bible. We're talking about how God told Abraham to
cut the skin of circumcision, that the circumcision be a token.
And now we're talking about cutting off of sin. Let
that be a token of love. Jesus himself said, if
you love me, keep my commandments. So, my friend, we
(47:15):
live a different life when we're different from the world,
when we are trying our best to live for the Lord.
Speaker 14 (47:24):
That is a token of love, a token of love,
a token, a token of us trying our best to
love the Lord, the token of love.
Speaker 2 (47:43):
That's right. And many of us don't recognize that, dude,
many of us think.
Speaker 3 (47:48):
That Ablaska, you just ah, you're talking about Bbreloska. I
know we're all sin. I know we're all came up
of sin. And that's why we all need Jesus Christ.
And when we can better ourselves in Christ.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
Jesus, we show in Christ how much.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
We love him, how much think I f a I
t h that we have in Him. Oh, my friend, man,
People say.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
Yeah, I believe in Christ, but I don't read the Bible.
I believe in Christ, but I still do what I
want to do.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
I still drink the same drink, I still smoke the
same stuff, I still.
Speaker 2 (48:42):
Use the same words. And most just don't see that
they must live a life of being sanctified.
Speaker 3 (48:59):
If I'm they be able to use that term, a
life of sanctification. And when we're talking about a life
of sanctification, what a way, Brother Oscar is talking about.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Many today they get it confused, don't they? Many today?
Speaker 3 (49:24):
They was call everybody's Satan does some good works. But
just because someone is doing good work don't make them sanctified.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
Just because someone at the.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
Church house is jumping up and down claiming they speaking
in tongus and have the spirit, that does not make
them sanctified. What makes us sanctified today is we have
pulled away from.
Speaker 2 (49:56):
The world and living as.
Speaker 15 (49:59):
Christ so lived.
Speaker 3 (50:02):
It was the apostle Paul says in first Country of Love,
and one follow me as I follow Christ.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
The word of God calls us to the sanctified. The different.
Speaker 3 (50:17):
The word of God calls us to try our best
to cut off sin. And this is a point that
brother Oscar is trying to make with you. A token
of love is cutting off sin with no circumcide. Death
(50:38):
is not the token that God is looking for today,
but the token of God looking for today.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
Token of love is being in obedient.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
To his word and following the apostles teachings and their example.
Hey man Bved Oscar, turn with me quickly, and I
was going to reach this point this quick to first Peter,
First Peter chapter I believe chapter two, and this is
(51:10):
where we basically left off on. Yes, ma'am, we going
to touch 'em in the this called Paul giving us
the basically.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
A good definition.
Speaker 3 (51:29):
If I may be able to use that term when
it come to our simctification. And Peter tells us in
First Peter two in the beginning with verse nine, PETSA,
but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and
(51:55):
holy nation, a.
Speaker 15 (51:58):
Peculiar people that you should shoe fourth the praises of
him who had called you out of.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Darkness into his marvelous light.
Speaker 3 (52:17):
And to me, that's one of the best definition that
a saint, our satification that can be defined in when
we become a Christians, we are saints. Were being become
(52:39):
a Christian, we are peculiar people. And being peculiar people,
we are a part of the royal priesthood, okay, And
being a part of the royal priesthood, we become a
chosen generation, a holy nation. That you fought the praises
(53:07):
of him who had called you out of darkness into
his marvelous light. Oh, my friend, Jesus, this morning he
is calling you.
Speaker 2 (53:22):
To the light. For Jesus is that light. Jesus is
that light?
Speaker 3 (53:31):
He calling you out of the world of darkness to
that marvelous light. And as we discussed yesterday, going back
to Phycralcrinthum six and verse nineteen eleven and following, Paul.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
Is telling us what do light have to do with darkness?
It's nothing at all.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
And my friend, if you walk in the light as
heea's in the light, we will John said, we will
have fellowship one with another. Many today, my father, but
is many today do not think that having fellowship is important?
Speaker 2 (54:18):
Men today feel like that although with.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
Day technology has helped us to stream our services. And
if you sick or down like myself and can't move
and can't leave the house.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
At times.
Speaker 3 (54:36):
It is good to be able to stream services and
workstill that way, but it doesn't really take place of
fellowshipping with one another. And I guess they say what
some that does, Brother Oscar. You can get contact with people.
(54:58):
You can talk with them on Instagram. You can talk
with him on TikTok. You talk with them on Facebook,
you can talk with them on all the entities. You
can talk with them. And then they have talk with me,
and I do appreciate the many that have talk with me.
Goes over and Eedie Daniels, he talked with me, and
(55:20):
I appreciate the talking chat we have.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
We pray for one another and we encourage one another
to keep.
Speaker 3 (55:27):
On doing the work of the Lord, which is very
very important.
Speaker 2 (55:34):
And fellowship is important anyway you can get it.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
With all needs that encouragement from one another to hang
in there, and especially if you're blessed to go to
the building with other things are needing. It is just
good to fellowship. To give them a smile, shake the hand, give.
Speaker 2 (55:58):
My hug, say I love you you, oh, my friend.
Is nothing wrong with loving the brotherhood. You want to
say the sisterhood. It's nothing wrong with that. We need
the fellowship of one another to keep on going in
the world that do not respect the board, meaning they say,
(56:24):
I know the boy.
Speaker 3 (56:25):
But if you are out there cursing and listen to
music with cursed words in it, and listen to music.
Speaker 2 (56:32):
This and that, you not you, you can't be been
for Lord.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Now at nit, I have a radio program. Now, I'll
see your radio on Spotify.
Speaker 5 (56:43):
We do that.
Speaker 3 (56:44):
Well, we're doing there. I've been playing instrumental music and
it's beautiful.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
I love it. I was once into instruments. I used
to play trunk and guitar drums. I was into it.
I love instrumental music. That's nothing wrong. Would listen to music.
Speaker 3 (57:02):
But at times when we are associaped with music with
bad words by hear some young people playing, when we
asso shape music today with sex, my friend, at times
we need to think about the things that we listen
(57:22):
to and things we make ourselves a part of, and
we need, as we just said, live a sanctified life
for Jesus Christ and him crucifidy. It's just not a
one time thing you're doing. It's just not feeding the poor.
(57:47):
It's just not being there for those that need us.
But it's a lifestyle as well. If you live in
a life, of course you're gonna love people, but at
the same time live in the life love God first
and being obeing to His word. And my friend, let
me say this, come sometimes I don't allow you to
(58:09):
know how to come to Christ and me aren't confused,
or how to accept the gift of grace, the gift
of love, or how to show love to God, to
Christ who died for us.
Speaker 2 (58:30):
And my friend, the Bible tells us, and I want
to take my time to say this. We got two
more minutes.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
When he first come to Christ, he first must hear
the Gospel, Paul tells Roman tenth seventeen. So then faith
comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Speaker 2 (58:52):
You must believe what you heard he Views eleven and six.
Speaker 3 (58:58):
And upon believing what you heared, you must repent of
all your says.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
You must change your mind. You must get committed to
the fact that you are going.
Speaker 3 (59:11):
To live a better life than Jesus Christ Jesus unto
thirteen three five. I tell you now, except you repent,
you shall all likewise perish. And then you should confess
the sweetest name on Mark till tongue, Paul said, Roman
ten tenth. And with your heart, man believe it unto righteousness.
But with the mouth confession has made unto salvation. And
(59:36):
upon that confession you must be baptized. Paul called it
a burial, and Roman six Jesus said to his apostle,
he that believed and is baptized, Mark sixteen, fifteen and sixteen,
we must be baptized and baptisms being baptized and adds
(01:00:00):
us to the body of Christ. And we will follow
the Apostles teachings and Acts two, and actually tend me
the whole chapter of Acts two. You will see the
conversions in the first door of the church opening, and
those three thousand souls accept the Jesus, and then bapties
(01:00:24):
and following the Apostles teachings, and then you must live
that life, show the world Christ in you, and be
like Christ.
Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Amen.
Speaker 6 (01:00:38):
Amen a.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
That that's all I have for you today. We're so
thankful to be able to bring this lesson to you
this morning. Talk my cutting off of sin, taught my
being in the body of Christ, talking my loving the Lord.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Allow our love to.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
Be a talken today, show the love by having faith
in you and living as He desires for us to
will aynan a nanny n And this is Wednesday. And
then if our local Churches of Christ are having Wednesday
night Bible class. And if you want to get deep
(01:01:14):
into the word, visit the local Church of Christ. I'm
talking about the Church of Christ, not the name that's
on the on the door, Church of Christ. And once
you get in doing everything else except but being the church,
go to Church of Christ. Go to Church of Christ
(01:01:35):
night at have Wednesday Bible class. Some are streaming Wednesday
Bible Class. Listen to it, learn it and walk closer
and closer with the board. But this time we must sacodice.
We really enjoyed bringing this addition of chatting from the Word.
(01:01:55):

hollow it be thy name, Thy kingdom is here, Thy
will is being done.

to us here on Chaddy from the word. We pray

the life and continue to enjoy loving you, living.
Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
For you and being a Christian. And for we pray
for those and not having accepted Christ Jesus.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
We pray that they accept Jesus before it become too late,
and that's when they are dead in their grave. For
we just pray that you will help them to know you,
to accept you, you, to love you, and to be
added to the body of Christ. Now, may the grace
(01:03:08):
of God's wee could be of the Holy Spirit. Rested
nobody with us since you meet again and Jesus' blessing name.
Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
Do we pray a man and a a man.
Speaker 16 (01:03:31):
