Speaker 1 (37:42):
But if you keep listening to us here on channel
from the world, we can help you to all your fears.

Speaker 8 (37:48):
To all your doubts, to God's word itself.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
If you really don't understand it, we can help you
to understand it.

Speaker 8 (37:57):
Where you can cleave and.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Runs closer to Him so that one day you may
make Heaven your home.

Speaker 8 (38:07):
Comeloscar, He don't chell me from the word.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
We believe and know that Heaven is a real place.
We believe and know that hell is a real place.
And my friend, my goal and should be a hope.
It's your goal too, is to make Heaven your home
one day when the Lord return for his urch. Now

(38:36):
we don't know when he's going to return, but we
know that he going to return.

Speaker 8 (38:44):
Amen. Amen.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
And I don't know about you this morning, but I
can't wait. If I'm in my grave, I hope and
pray the Lord wakes me up and say, come on home,
come on home, Amen, ain'tmd And.

Speaker 8 (38:59):
Then and if I'm still here, we come back. They
come back right now? Who knows if they come on home,
come on home.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
And that's my goal, my friend, My goal is to
make Heaven my home one of these days. And while
I'm living, I want to live for him. I'm gonna
try my best to live for him. And Brother Hoskin
not saying he's perfect, because because if we want to
be at a point of perfection, we need to keep going.

(39:32):
We need to lean on each other, we need to
fellowship with one another.

Speaker 8 (39:36):
If we want to be at a point with the.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Lord and pleasing the Lord this morning, we need to
keep in the world. We need to keep listening to
good partcasters and those that are teaching and preaching God's word.

Speaker 8 (39:55):
Is just a good thing to do. That to listen
to good part shap podcasters, to watch those that.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Are teaching the truth on YouTube and beyond this, which
it's so many false teachings that's going on today that
will some of them will help you look twice.

Speaker 8 (40:16):
Even if you know, even if.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
You know the truth, they will have you doubted. So,
my friend, it's just a good thing to continue on
listening to a program like Hours and others that's trying
to teach you the truth of the Word of God.

Speaker 8 (40:42):
Now let me let me up, let you in on something.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Some of them that are teaching false teachings, you know,
they know how to use the Bible so good, and
you don't know if they teaching to you the truth
our falsehood. That's why so good for us that name
the name of Christ to be deeply involved into studying

(41:12):
God's word. And that's what we hope that we're doing
here on chatting from the Word is to absist you
in knowing the Word of God enough where you could
be stable in God's Word and Satan won't move you.

Speaker 14 (41:33):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
And that's what we pray for, and that's what we
hope for here on chatting from the Word. Now you
know what Brother Oscar wants you to do, correct, all right?
All right, we want you to get relaxed. Get relaxed.
Go ahead on't have your morning your favorite morning drink, coffee, tea, milk, juice,

(41:54):
hot chocolate, not the horse, chunk it out the window, go.

Speaker 8 (41:58):
After it, need that anyway, and get relaxed.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
If you relax and you were climbing chair, go ahead
on and recline on out. If you're more relaxing at
the dine that table, go it on and have a seat.

Speaker 8 (42:15):
But what we request of you.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
Is to have out a copy of the Word of
God and nothing else and nothing less, because that's what
we study from, and that's what we.

Speaker 8 (42:31):
Go by, is the Word of God.

Speaker 14 (42:36):
That amen.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
And if any time you have any questions or or
confused about what Brother Oscar is teaching, you can always
contact me and Brother Oscar what do you mean by that?

Speaker 8 (42:56):
Where as they're found in the Bible or at time to.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
If I've said something that you don't like and that
we want to debate me about, we welcome do that too.
But what we asked that you have is from the
word of God, not something you heard the preachers say
behind the pulpit, Not something mama, grandmama, granddad, or fall

(43:21):
that top over the years and became a tradition.

Speaker 8 (43:25):
But what is according to God's word. And that's all
we ask for to have book, chapter and verse. Amen. Amen.
This morning I said, I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
And this morning we are going back and we've gone
to study the Bible.

Speaker 8 (43:45):
Let's study. Are you ready for this study. Let's study
the Bible, and we are working.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
I don't want to do a review, our preview and
go back to things we have said. I just hope
and pray many of you have been keeping up with
the chats that we're doing here so that I won't
concept go back and explain what we have said and
where we're coming from now is the Old Testament. We're

(44:14):
talking about the patriarch Abraham. We're talking about the patriarch distensation,
and were talking about the patriarch Abraham. And at this
point God changed Abraham to Abraham, and of course he

(44:36):
reminds him about their covenant, and he told them as
they tooken above to be circumcised. And now We're at
a touching point here. After the change, Abraham did not
stop going through some difficult times after the change, Abraham.

Speaker 8 (45:02):
Did not stout stopping doubting God. And at this point,
at this point.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
He is doubting God and mostly understand why specially just
look at things as they are are, in other words,
looking at things at the scenes. And then of us
do that, don't we? We look at things as they are.
We look at things as they seems. We look at

(45:33):
things as they appear to be instead of recognize that
we serve a God that can do the impossible. And
this is where Abraham is at when God told Abraham,
and I want you to turn with me.

Speaker 8 (45:52):
We are in.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
Genesis the seventeenth chapter, and we want to begin at
verse Let's you get at verse sixteen, just to reiterate
some of the things.

Speaker 8 (46:08):
That we have mentioned.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
And here in verse sixteen, the Bible says, and I
will bless her and give be a son also of her.

Speaker 8 (46:30):
Yeah, I will bless her, and.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
She shall be a mother of nations, kings.

Speaker 8 (46:40):
Of people shall be of her.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
And that what we want to do this more we
want you to notice and like I said, we got
to really get into good study of God's word. And
many people don't you much really recognize this was Abraham.

Speaker 8 (47:01):
Action and reaction. Abraham action and reaction.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
And I'm laughing because Abraham felt like it was a
laughable moment, not just he he and hey hey and
a smileing moment. But he felt like this because God

(47:29):
told him that his wife Sarah was still going to
have a baby.

Speaker 8 (47:35):
He laughed about it.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
In verse seventeen of Jens seventeen, the Bible said, then
aba Ham fail upon his face laughed.

Speaker 8 (47:50):
And I guess if you look at it at another way,
he was took a pink.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
He wasn't just he he and hey hey, but he
fell out laughing. He fell out laughing. That's what you
said last week. It's just like when I ill love
to look at the old shows like the Jeffersons and
two to seven and and Shepherd and Son, and there

(48:18):
was some funny comic shows and it has me laughing
from the point where I'm I'm tearing up. I'm laughing
so hard. But this was was abraham reaction.

Speaker 8 (48:32):
Here.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
He just didn't lie. But the Bible said he fell
on his face with with with oh, he fell on
his face with laughter, with laughter. Here, although Abraham already

(49:02):
met all the provisions of being changed at the change,
although God already changed his name to Abraham, but Abraham.

Speaker 8 (49:12):
Still had his doubts.

Speaker 1 (49:17):
Abraham still have his doubts because the reason why Abraham
at this point had his doubt his God said, now
your wife is gonna.

Speaker 8 (49:32):
Give you a baby. And his reasoning was the fact.

Speaker 1 (49:39):
Now listen to him closely, and here Abraham said in
his heart, shall a child be born? Unto him there
is a hundred years old, and shall Sarah, there is
ninety old bear?

Speaker 8 (50:02):
How can how can my wife, who.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
So old now bare child? In other words, can help
womb bare child in her old age? Can she have
a child? You know, you look at today and most

(50:33):
doctors would tell you that most women when they reach
age and forty five fifty the child bearing age is through,
they cannot have any more babies. But here, Sarah, God
told Abraham that your wife is still going to give

(50:55):
you a son, and she's still going to be the
mother of all needs.

Speaker 8 (51:02):
Even today, doctors and doctors.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
Would tell women today past a certain aide, it's.

Speaker 8 (51:10):
Impossible for you to have a child.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
But here God is telling Abe him your wife is
going to get pregnant, and here he looking at the physical.
Instead of recognize that, we serve God that it could
do be impossible. We server God that can do the impossible.

(51:43):
My friend, that's the reason why we can as Christians
hang in there with the Lord, because the Lord can
do the impossible.

Speaker 8 (51:55):
Oh, my friend, my.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
Lord, he created it all, don't he didn't He He
knows the.

Speaker 8 (52:01):
Ends and the outs of everything.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Our gonna walk on water, change water into wine, they say,
the best tasting wine.

Speaker 8 (52:16):
What the point is here?

Speaker 1 (52:20):
Abraham doubted God, and we today we doubt him too.

Speaker 8 (52:29):
We today we doubt him.

Speaker 1 (52:32):
Too, Especially in our prayer life. Many of us we
pray for things. We pray for things, and if you
don't get it in our time, we give up on God.

Speaker 8 (52:48):
Even if we don't get it, we give up on God.

Speaker 1 (52:51):
Even when things get bad and worse, we give up
on God. And I let you know something here, in
my lifetime, yeah, I've been been through so many hard times,
so many disappointments, And as I look back on it,

(53:16):
I recognize that times I had it hard times, at
times I had my doubts about I look back on it,
retrospectively of the things that I have suffered, I see
that God knows was best.

Speaker 8 (53:36):
Many of you.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Might be praying for that perfect job and never got it.
Many ministers are preaching for that perfect congregation to preach
at our war.

Speaker 8 (53:49):
You never received it.

Speaker 1 (53:51):
Many are praying for that perfect wife or husband. You're
still single all you've probably got married to the wrong person.

Speaker 8 (54:02):
That's possible.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
But what brother Oscar is saying that we need to
recognize that we serve a God that can do the impossible.

Speaker 8 (54:15):
Nothing is impossible with God.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
And once you think about the impossible things is the
way we think and not God, because we can only
see with the naked eye and no father. But what
God sees he sees Father, he see beyond this body,
He see beyond this world. He see beyond our feelings,

(54:41):
He see beyond our faults. That's why Paul said in
Romans that the spirit help our effirmities. When we pray
to the Father, the Spirit work with our spirit to
help us to talk with the fault because at times

(55:02):
we don't know what to say to him. My friend,
we must recognize that we serve a God that can
do the impossible. We serve a God that there should
be no doubt. But we serve a God that we

(55:24):
can trust in. We serve a Lord that is our shepherd,
and he will lead us to green up pastors.

Speaker 8 (55:33):
And that's what we need to build our faith in
whole of Hello.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
And that's what we need to build our faith in
is in Jesus Christ, because he can do be impossible.

Speaker 8 (56:04):
We need not to doubt.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
Even when we are going through some terrible times. Many
of us we look at our situation and we believe
that this is it. Nothing would not get any better.

(56:28):
Some of us will look at our age and said,
we are too old to do that now. But in
abraham situation, God worked. Don't think that you are too
old to do anything, especially when it's God's will. And
I guarantee you, my friend, God has a purpose and

(56:53):
a reason for every one of us are being here
to be here because he did.

Speaker 8 (57:00):
He would not made you. If he didn't, you wouldn't
be born.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
If he didn't, you wouldn't be on the track that
you are on today. If He did not have a
purpose for you, you wouldn't be.

Speaker 8 (57:11):
Listening to Brother Oscar this morning.

Speaker 1 (57:15):
But I'm here to tell you this morning that Our
Lord has a purpose for your life. Don't doubt him
when things get tough. When things get rough, and I
was thinking this morning, most of us were going to
some tough time because God, the Lord Jesus Christ, is

(57:39):
leading us to him. If you're going through some hard times,
he's leading you in the direction that he wants you
to go.

Speaker 8 (57:51):
He's molding you, he's leading you.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
But a lot of us will just so, if I
may use this terminology, many of us are just so
heart hitted and we don't want to listen.

Speaker 8 (58:03):
Many of us think we might be brother Oscar. You
don't know what he's talking about. I'm trying. I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
But most of us were just so heart hitted, and
we are doing like Abraham is doing here. We looking
at the situation with the naked eye instead of looking
at it from God's hue. Point that we serve a
God that can do the impossible, and he can. Don't

(58:34):
think that you're too old where you can't start over
for something. I don't think you're too old that you
can't get started. I know many and went back to
school at the age of seventeen sixty five to get
that education. I know many at sixties just starting their careers.

(58:55):
I know many they said they gonna never give up
doing what they love to do.

Speaker 8 (59:00):
For how many of us do.

Speaker 1 (59:02):
We just give up because we never reach that point
in our lifetime and we just give up on God?
By I appeased to tell you, in God's mind, giving
up is not the solution.

Speaker 8 (59:17):
And God's mind, giving up and not part of the equation.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Well if part of the equation that if God given
you get blessed, were running warm in your veins and
you still on this timeside of life. God has a purpose,
at a reason, at a job for you to do. Amen,

(59:44):
don't doubt him. Don't doubt him. Don't look at the
surface on peace. Look at it from a higher standpoint,
look at it from God's standpoint, Because, my friend, we
serve God that can do to be impossible.

Speaker 8 (01:00:05):
Yeah, if we're still talking.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
About Abraham reaction and action, Abraham action and re action.
So my friend, one more time, hello, I don't understand you. Well,

(01:00:36):
we're talking about Abraham action and reaction.

Speaker 8 (01:00:42):
So, my friends, we hope you join us. Tomorrow morning.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
We're going to dig deeper more into the conversation that
Abraham had with God about uh Sarah having a son,
and we're gonna get deeper into it and to see
the other reactions that Abrahm give to God. So, my friend,
we hope that you join us tomorrow morning, if it

(01:01:08):
be the launch, will, if it be a launch, will,
we hope that you join us tomorrow. And again we
hope that you shared this program with many of your friends,
with your loved ones, with those that you have a
desire to get the gospel too. And don't forget myself,

the Word at Dusk.
