Because some of the things and I mustn't knit. That's
so many things that we have discussed may be strange
to so many people that listen to this program. And
I I I just hope, my friend. Hope is that
we'll teaching one another how beautiful Jesus Christ is. And
(37:12):
that's what it's all.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
About to me, is going to heaven. Make sure you
make yourself right, get where you need to be to
make Heaven your home on this beautiful day. And I
just hope through this program many have done that that
many have will be the gospel that now you can
have heard the Word, believe the Word, repent of all
(37:37):
your sins, confess Jesus, and be baptizing, adding you to
the Body of Christ, and nothing else, nothing less about
Body of Christ.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
Unity, unity and unity. But most of us we we
miss that necessary of unity.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Don't we.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
One one unity?
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Working together as God the Father, God the Son, and
God the Holy Ghost does.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
But gave we hope that you have a copy of
God's word so that you may see where we are
coming from.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
And we hope that you can really learn the lessons
and the uh that we have been teaching at a
and and at any time that you hear Breal Oscar
may be seeing something that not according to God's words,
you can always email me as it were, Bally Oscar,
you didn't quote that scripture right, Uh, you're using the
(38:39):
wrong scripture whatever, And and if I'm wrong, I change it.
But at the same time, I aks you if you
want to uh, prove something the wrong that I said,
have it come from God's word, not something you.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
Heard a preacher said from a poor pit.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Not something to mom bed, grandmother and grandfather been doing
over the years and that just became a tradition.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
But what is contained in.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
The word of God on this jeutiful, dutiful money and
the gamebra Oscar just so delight to be with you,
to be able to share a lesson with you.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
Although we're doing a series on how to study the Bible, and.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
We're doing an exhaustive study on it, and we just
want to get home the peaks in the valleys. If
you can have share a brother, Oscar saying, because I
believe that we are.
Speaker 4 (39:42):
If we are going to.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Nick Heaven our home one day, we need no God
and it's to his work, and we know the Lord Jesus.
It's to his work and nothing else and nothing less.
So are you really my trying to dive off into
what we were discussing on yesterday?
Speaker 4 (40:05):
We wanted to continue discussing that this morning.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
Now we're talking about Abraham's reaction or something they say action.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
And his reaction was when God to Abraham that his
wife Sarah was going to steal by him a son.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
Abraham reaction was one of locker, one of some this
is ridiculous. How can my wife, who has passed a
flower of age? How can my wife at the age
of ninety bear me a son?
Speaker 4 (40:56):
And here Abraham, as men.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
Of us do too, is not looking at the possibility
of what God can do, but he's looking at all
the impossible beings that he can see. And bay by
him looking at all the things that are impossible to do,
(41:22):
he's having.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
Doubt in God.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
And man of us do that.
Speaker 4 (41:29):
How many of you, if not saying that God will
do this today.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
But told you one hundred and your wife is ninety
nine and said, y'all gonna have a child, and she's gonna.
Speaker 4 (41:41):
Have a baby for you. Yes, you're pondered at the
same thing also as even him.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
It's doing here.
Speaker 4 (41:50):
How many of you.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
Still going to some problems, not giving the Lord that
problem that you're going to.
Speaker 4 (42:00):
The Lord said, come.
Speaker 3 (42:01):
Up to me, all you that labor, hey lady, and
I will give you rest. Take my yourkupon you and
learn of me. Find minya old and heart, and you
shall fight.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
Restle to your souls for my yokse easy and my
burden's like.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
How many of you prayed to the Lord that the
Lord would help you to overcome other anxieties that are
in your life.
Speaker 4 (42:22):
How many of you have asked God for that in
your life? And you still thinking can you do it?
Speaker 1 (42:30):
Father?
Speaker 4 (42:32):
Can you do it for me?
Speaker 3 (42:35):
Now? You still thinking that's impossible? You still thinking I'm
still gonna remain the person I am. God, you cannot
change me, You cannot do this.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
I'm just who I am.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
How many of you look at many things that are impossible,
don't you know?
Speaker 4 (42:58):
With God everything he is possible?
Speaker 3 (43:03):
And through this lesson.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
At through this.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
I wanna call it a scene, but through what's going
on with Abraham and Sarah here.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
Allow me to know us, allow you to know us well,
that we serve a God that can do the impossible.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
He can do the impossible, and we as humans we
look at things from the naked eye. At time, when
we look at things from the naked eye, of course, we.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
Can look at things being impossible.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
And many of us the fact that a muhama just
put on the table, Many of us when God says
he can do something.
Speaker 4 (43:57):
And we just don't have faith, pay you will do it.
We are doing what Abraham is doing here. We're lacking faith,
We're lacking in trust, and basically we're lacking in love
for the Lord.
Speaker 3 (44:14):
Because all you need to do if you go on
to some problems and be going to some headaches, if.
Speaker 4 (44:20):
You want God to do this do that for you,
ask him, pray to him. He already knows what you
need before you ask him.
Speaker 3 (44:29):
Ask him and have faith if what you ask him
and lost him to be your father to know what's
best for you. But here in this scene, if I
can use the terminology sing, in this scene, God is
(44:55):
telling Abraham.
Speaker 4 (44:58):
The wife Sarah, it is going to bear him a son.
Speaker 3 (45:05):
Abrahamry action is that of blockbery something funny.
Speaker 4 (45:11):
He went to the floor laughing.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
And here Abraham said, now, now you're telling me that
my my wife and I were gonna conceive a son.
Here I'm a I'm a hundred years old and she
ninety years old, and she gonna bear me a son.
And Abraham said to God, and here before I say this,
(45:41):
and here what Abraham is doing he look at what's
going on in front of him and not looking at
the best fact that we.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
Serve a God that can do all beings. And here
he mentioned his.
Speaker 3 (45:59):
Other Ismail, and he said, and he said, what about
In other words, he said, what about my son Ismail?
Because before that, God, of course, what is the covenant
was through Sarah to their.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Seed nations would be blessed.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
And then he said, what about Ismael?
Speaker 4 (46:28):
What about my son Ismail? He said, I have.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
I have, And as for Ismail, I have heard the behold,
I have blessed him, and we'll make him future, and
we'll multiply him as seedingly where.
Speaker 4 (46:53):
Sea with twelve for instances shall be we God, and
I will make him a great nation.
Speaker 3 (47:05):
So even to Ismael, God was going to make Ismael
shoot for two but The catch is Ismael was not
the promisee Ismael was not where the promise see is
going to come through. But where the whether the phroma
(47:26):
see was gonna come through was through Isaac to Isaac,
through Isaac and many of us even today, we we
don't look at God as being the avalanche in God,
do we? We We think, if God don't bless us
(47:47):
and give us something right now this time before we
leave out of here, it's not going to happen. But
what we got to understand, we we as human beings,
we gonna they'll be turning. We have a day to die.
But God, he works with an eternity, and what God
(48:08):
meant for to happen, and they happen another one hundred
two hundred years from now, if the earth still be turning.
And now here he talking about Isaac, Isaac, the project Isaac,
and to Isaac, through Isaac.
Speaker 4 (48:29):
The promised would come through Isaac. And here's twenty one,
he says, But my covelet will established with Isaac. Isaac.
Speaker 3 (48:50):
The covelet will be established with Isaac, which Sarah shall
bear to be at this set time in the next year.
Speaker 4 (49:08):
Oh, my friend, we serve a good God.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
Don't we We serve our beautiful God, don't we. And
here he's telling Abraham that your wife is still going
to have your son, and that son gonna be named Isaac,
and he's going to be the promise Seed, the promised Seed.
Speaker 4 (49:37):
And he left off talking with him, and.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
God went up from Abraham, and Abraham took Ismael his son,
and all that were born in his house, and all
that was brought by his moneies, every nail among the
men among the men of abraham house, and circumcised the
(50:14):
flesh of their foreskin in the theefth same day, as
God has said unto him. And Abraham was ninety years
old at nine when he was circumcised in the flesh
of his foreskin, and is Nail his son was thirteen
(50:40):
years old what he was circumcised in the flesh of
his four skin. And the fifth same day was Abraham
circumcised Ismail his son, and all.
Speaker 4 (50:57):
The men of his house, being born in his house
and brought.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
With money and stranger were circumcised with him in this instant.
After God told him that Sarah was going to still
bury him, a son nade him logic, and this is
he's a promise see this is what the promise see
would come through. And then you know he's talking, and
(51:27):
now he's saying that the Bible saying that Abraham kept
the words of God and circumcised.
Speaker 4 (51:35):
Every mail in his household. Amen, Amen, and amen. But
still yet, still yet, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (51:48):
Reading this, it seemed like Abraham still had his doubts.
But although and what we must want that although uh
Abraham still had his doubts, he's still Oh be God,
(52:09):
He's still obey God. And sometimes through all of our doubts,
sometimes we still can't obey God.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
We still can't can't keep his word. I like what
James says.
Speaker 3 (52:26):
James turned with me to the Book of James because
I believe, and that's in the New test Man.
Speaker 4 (52:33):
We're gonna bring it home. Let's let's bring this lesson
home a little bit, and let's go to believe. James.
Speaker 3 (52:40):
We want James, and James he tells us about pay
and how our fate should work. And here James tells
us James the brother of my Lord Jesus Christ, the
(53:01):
servant of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the
twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, Greetings, my brother in County.
All joy when you fall into divertemptation, knowing this that
the work trying of your faith work with patience. But
(53:21):
let patients have her perfect work, and that he may
be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you
lack wisdom, let him ask of God that give it
to all men liberally, And I'm brought it not and
(53:44):
it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith,
nothing wavering. For he that waved is like a wave.
Let us see driven with the wind and toasted.
Speaker 4 (54:03):
For let him that.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
For Let let not let man think that he will
receive anything of the Lord. I brought this up because
we must recognize that.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
Though we have doubts, though we have fears.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
Though sometimes our faith me linger having faith in the Lord,
but we still must have that faith.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
And when we ask God to do something, if it be.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
In his power, if it be in his will, if
He truly want you to have what you ask him for,
you will get it. But still yet we need to
still have faith in the Lord even when we don't
get what we ask for. And this kind of faith
(55:02):
that James is talking about is not the faith that saying, well,
let it faithful this I know God Donna get fact,
not what James is talking about here. James said, we godless,
we need to still have faith. Our fathiould not waiver.
(55:23):
Even when we pray for something. We should pray that God,
if it's in his will, that will occur. But now
if it's not his in his will, we still should
have faith, even him or some of us to the
artist with you. When things happen in our lives, and
(55:47):
when we don't get what we believe that we deserve,
our faith, we lack faith in God and we just
wanna give up. But my thought about that is, never
give up. Keep having faith in the Lord. You can
(56:12):
trust the Lord at his word. Abraham, going back to
Abraham's situation, although Abraham locked, although Abraham looked at the impossibility,
he still continue on having faith and continue on being
(56:39):
in obedient because he can. He circumcised himself, his son,
and all those that was in his household. And this
is what is about my friends, having faith that God
(57:03):
would do be impossible, because my friend, we serve a
God who can do the possible.
Speaker 4 (57:12):
And that's where my faith lies. I don't know about
your faith. I don't know how your faith works.
Speaker 3 (57:17):
But my faith tells me even in my disappointments, even
when I don't, when I don't, when God don't bless
me in direction I believe I should go in, my
faith would still be in him.
Speaker 4 (57:38):
I'm not going to stop loving him. I'm not gonna
stop being in obedient to him.
Speaker 3 (57:45):
I'm not gonna stop loving him and living for him
or my friend, those are times when we need to
live for him more. Is when our faith is tested,
not to give up, not to blame on God.
Speaker 4 (58:02):
God, it is why avowed this to happen. Everything that
occurs in this life has a purpose and a reason.
Speaker 3 (58:14):
Even everyone that you meet is a purpose and the
reason for you to meet them. Everything that occurring in
you in your life is a reason for it. Something's
occurring to test you, something's occurring to.
Speaker 4 (58:32):
To of course that some may faunct by the wayside
to see if you're going to get backed up.
Speaker 3 (58:39):
But my friend, we should not let circumstances dictate our
love for Lord. What we need to do is say
we serve a God can do all things, and say,
looking at the odds as a maham is doing here.
(59:02):
My wife is beyond her age of having children I
know she can't have none, but God says she will.
And you know what, by God doing what he did,
show us since is in the articles of the scriptures
that we serve good God. We serve a good God,
(59:25):
We serve a God that loves us, and we serve
God could do be im possible. Amen and amen, Yes, yes, yes,
we serve God could do be impossible. The only thing
we need to continue on to our circumstances is to still.
Speaker 4 (59:48):
Have faith in Him. Faith in Him. Don't give up
because good life not going as you thought it would.
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
Don't give up when you're not that big time preacher,
that big time counselor that big time president, big time
whatever you're trying to be.
Speaker 4 (01:00:15):
Don't give up.
Speaker 3 (01:00:17):
Don't give up when when things are not going your way.
That's the time that we shook.
Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
Keep on walking with the Lord.
Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
Have faith, have faith that our God can do the impossible.
