How to study the Bible: XI. The Three Men: Who are they? In our chat this morning we are going to examine the Scriptures to see just that. In Genesis 18:2&3 Abraham called them My Lord, the same in Genesis 17:1 The Lord is used here, and The Lord himself said that I am the Almighty God. So we can come to the conclusion that there are three working together, that compose THE ALMIGHTY Cod.

always always be with us and your teaching of your word. Father,
help us, Father, to always teach your word. Without adding
our subtraction. Father, Father, we pray this morning. We pray

(36:12):
this morning for our lessen, the three men who are
they probably help us that we may say something to
help someone to understand who you are and our will
towards you and your will and your ways.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
Father.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
We pray for those that are struggling this morning, struggling
their marriages, struggling to maintain a Christian home, young people
struggling with negative peer pressure.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Far We pray for those that are behind prison prison Morris.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
Father, we pray that you will help them to overcome
the problems that they are going through and one.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Day obey the Gospel. It not if they have not paraly.

Speaker 6 (36:57):
Pray for all the churches as not to teach your
word as is stated in your Word. For we pray
that they go back to law in liberty and read
and fall for your word.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Father. We pray for those that are are teaching and
preaching the truth of the Word. Father.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
We pray that you would bless them and continue you
to allow them to teach and to preach for your word.
As far as always, Father, we prayed that you will
keep us encouraged and never discouraged in.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
Jesus, In Jesus blessing him, do we pray a man.

Speaker 19 (37:39):
And amenchu, Amen and.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
Amen.

Speaker 6 (39:05):
First of all, we want to apologize for all the
interruptions with the phone calls during our prayer time. And
of course we want to thank you for reading our
scripture chext along with us or praying along with us.
And as always we hope that we prayed for something
that is on your mind.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Amen, and a man. Alright, alright, oh right, it is
time for our work chat. Amen. You said when you

(39:49):
hear the bell, you know it's time for our chat.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
And if you still have your ears on Bralosky, you
just want to thank you for continue on listen to
us here on chatting from the Word, because I truly
believe that the Gospel, by listening to it and being
obedient to is more, is more than goal isself more

(40:15):
than a billion dollars. You cannot put a price on salvation.
It's priceless, and Brodowska can see that.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
So, my friend, have you still there and ready to
hear his message. With the message itself is priceless. You
can't put a money.

Speaker 6 (40:36):
Amount of figure on the gospel because the gospel stands
alone and by itself it is free. It is true
word of God, and it would direct us with a
life living in the light of Jesus and one day.

Speaker 2 (40:56):
Making Heaven our home.

Speaker 6 (41:00):
Oh, my friend, that that is your goal this morning,
that you sincerely want to make Heaven your home. And
the way you do that is to get into God's word,
study his word and get to know who the Lord
really is.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
And we're gonna talk about that this morning because many
just don't know.

Speaker 6 (41:26):
Many just don't know. But as we states here, are
you relaxed? Are you ready for the chat? And if
you are, you know, brother ask, I want you to
do correct. Go ahead on rue and have your favorite

(41:47):
morning drink coffee, tea, milk, juice, hot chocolate, cold chocolate, whatever,
and get relaxed. If you reclining your reclining chair, recline
on out. If you're more relaxed, accident at you die
that table, go ahead on.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
And have a seat. But the clicker here is to
have a copy of God's word so that.

Speaker 6 (42:12):
You may see where we are coming from, so that
you may see where we're studying from, so you may
see the things that we've been teaching and chatting on,
so that you may grow by in the nurturing admonition
of the Lord.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
And if you don't know the Lord, that you gave
a chance to know him and to be saved this morning.

Speaker 15 (42:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (42:39):
About you, my friend, but salvation is too precious to miss.
And being with the Lord, living to the Lord as
you live is too precious not to live for him
and along with him, the holiest being with the Father.
Amen and Amen.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
We're gonna talk about that in this lesson today.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
And my friend, we hope that you have a kyp
of God's word and reading with us and listen to
the program. And as we state and continue stating, if
I have said something that's not according to scriptures.

Speaker 15 (43:21):
Let me know.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
Let me know and say, brother Oscar, you said that wrong.

Speaker 6 (43:26):
But at the same time, we don't want you to
have a word for something about what we talk something
that have been saying behind the pull up it Mom
and daddy, grandpa or grandmother been doing it over the
years as a tradition but what is.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Contained in the Word of God.

Speaker 6 (43:48):
And I want you to understand that we're going on
facts and nothing fiction, But we're going.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
On what is contained in the Word of God.

Speaker 6 (44:02):
And this one I love this lesson that we are
going to discuss this morning, because we are getting ready
to go into Genesis, the eighteenth chapter. We was taught
still talking about Abraham, they patriarch Abraham, and we're getting

(44:23):
ready to get off into the eighteenth chapter.

Speaker 5 (44:29):
And most.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
And I'm glad that this that Abraham witness this event here.
I'm glad that it is on the inspiration.

Speaker 6 (44:49):
Of God's word because many of us today are confused
religiously of who God is. Many of us a confused
who the Lord is many of us and being the
fact that we.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Are confused, God is who the Lord is, how the
Holy Spirit works, don't you know?

Speaker 6 (45:11):
We are confused when it comes to our beliefs and
our faith in Christ Jesus. And if we are confused
about our belief and our faith in Christ Jesus, the
bigger question is are we hidding to heaven?

Speaker 4 (45:30):
Are we hitting to heaven?

Speaker 6 (45:33):
And that's something that we all need to think about.
If your belief is not in God. If you don't
view God as He desired for you to view him
and to know him. Do you know him?

Speaker 2 (45:51):
Are you in him? Are you worshiping him? Are you
loving him? And that's all you know? You asked. But
that's important. That's important.

Speaker 6 (46:02):
So here in Genesis seventeen, I want to read a
little bit of this, and because I want y'all to
see that we're going by God's word and nothing less
and nothing more.

Speaker 2 (46:14):
And here the Bible says, and the Lord and the Lord.
Now I want you unline that, and I want you
to remember that this statement.

Speaker 20 (46:26):
And the Lord appeared onto him in the plains of momury,
and he sat, and he.

Speaker 6 (46:38):
Sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.
And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and lo,
three men.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Stood by him.

Speaker 6 (46:56):
And when he saw them, he ran to meet them
from the tent door and bowed himself towards the ground
and said, my Lord, if now I have found favor
in thy sight, passed not away.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
I pray thee from thy servant. Here we want to.

Speaker 6 (47:30):
Not so much get detail about this, but it's important
for us to recognize who God is.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Here the Rle says three men, and let me read it.

Speaker 6 (47:43):
Read it once again for Ephes's sake here because we
want you all to understand this fact.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
Here and here in verse two of chapter eighteen, the.

Speaker 6 (47:58):
Bible said, he lifted up his eyes looked at low
three men stood by him, and when he saw them,
he ran to meet them from the tent door and
bowed himself toward the ground.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Verse three says and said, my lord. And here Abraham
called these three men lord, not lords, but lord. And
I want to show you the contrast between.

Speaker 6 (48:33):
This statement that's made here and the statement in Genesis seventeen.
And let me read Genesis seventeen once again for Ephesus sick,
so that you may meet, so that we may make
sure of what we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
Here and here again.

Speaker 6 (48:55):
In chapter seventeen, verse one, and when Abram was nineteen
years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram and said,
unto him, I am the all Mighty God.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
Walk before me, and be thou perfect. Now the word
lord is the same word that abral Ham is.

Speaker 6 (49:28):
Using in chapter eighteen. He called them what lord? And
then the Lord said, I am.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
The Almighty God. And within the contrast of the Almighty
God Abraham seen three men, three men.

Speaker 6 (49:54):
Oh, yes, I know many many O have fluttered this morning.
Many of your own minds are thinking this morning.

Speaker 15 (50:08):
Now.

Speaker 6 (50:08):
Yes, we're getting ready to learn important lesson here, because
as I said, many.

Speaker 2 (50:16):
Of us we just don't know who the Lord is.

Speaker 6 (50:20):
But here, like I said, I am so glad that
the Lord appeared unto Abraham, the Almighty God, being three
working together in unity, being three working together so much
in unity.

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Whereas moved at, Abraham called.

Speaker 6 (50:42):
Them Lord, not lords, but Lord, to allow you to
know how closely that these three entities, if I can
call them entities are working together. Some of us believe
that the only time that the Lord appeared in the
flesh was when.

Speaker 2 (51:06):
Jesus was born, and when Jesus came to earth.

Speaker 6 (51:09):
But here before Abraham, and don't get this wrong, they
appeared in the flesh.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
They appeared to Abraham.

Speaker 6 (51:20):
And because let's finish reading some of this, because we
want to show you something here.

Speaker 2 (51:27):
The verse three said.

Speaker 6 (51:31):
And said, my Lord, if now I have found favor
in thy sight, passed not away.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
I prayed thee from thy servanty.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
Now you know why.

Speaker 6 (51:49):
Abraham have some doubts here, because when God told when
the Lord told Abraham that he.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
Would have a son through Sarah, did he do? What
was his attitude? He lived, He lived to the point
where he lived to the point where where he just
fell out laughing.

Speaker 6 (52:16):
And he knew that his doubt with that, but he
still continue on obeying the Lord when it came to
circumcising the mail in his household. Okay, so yeah, he said.
He said, I hope you don't pass or leave me
or pass uh not a way, I prayed thee from

(52:41):
thy servant, don't leave me because of my dams. And then,
and I want you all to hear this point too,
He said, let a little water, I pray you be fetched?
Why should your feet and rest yourselves under the tree.

(53:07):
And this is another way of knowing that these three
have presented themselves to Abraham in the flesh, and that
Abraham said, and I will fetch.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
A morsel of bread and comfort ye your hearts.

Speaker 6 (53:29):
After that, ye still pass on, for therefore or we
come to your servant.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
And they said, so do as thou had said.

Speaker 19 (53:42):
Here.

Speaker 6 (53:44):
Now only Abraham had said, I can wash your feet,
you can get some rest, and I will give you
some bread. They was able to have dirty feet, able
to rest, and able to eat. So this is letting
us know here that the three men of course their lord,
they all might to God and pluff in the flesh.

Speaker 2 (54:07):
Abraham is witnessing them in the flesh. Okay. And in
verse six said.

Speaker 21 (54:18):
At Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah and said,
make ready.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Quickly three three measures.

Speaker 6 (54:38):
Of fine meal needed make cakes upon the earth earth
h e r t h, which is used as an
oven to cut things in. And here he's getting she's
getting ready, Abram told. Here Abraham told Sarah to make
three cakes for these three men, three lord, for the

(55:02):
Almighty God. And right now you know, disproves to you
and I that God Almighty was in the flesh, that
he was in the flesh. Abraham seen them, Abraham making
cakes for them.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
Abraham told them to rest and so forth. And then
it says and Abraham ran onto the herd and fished
a calf tender and good, gave it unto a young man,

(55:49):
and he hastened to dress it. Here Abraham gave this
got a young calf of his herd, to a young
man to cook it, to dress it, to fix it.

Speaker 6 (56:05):
And then he said, and took butter and milk and
the calf which he had dressed, and.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
Said it before them. And he stood by them under
the tree, and they did eat. They did eat. And
this threw to me that these men was in the flesh,

(56:35):
in the flesh.

Speaker 6 (56:38):
Let's take our time to try to dig into this,
because this is important to know, to get to know.

Speaker 4 (56:45):
Who God is.

Speaker 6 (56:48):
And then the Bible says, and they and they said
unto him, where is Sarah your wife?

Speaker 2 (56:59):
And he said, oh, she's in the tent.

Speaker 15 (57:03):
And he said, I.

Speaker 6 (57:04):
Would certainly return unto thee a guard according to the
time of life, and ott Sarah, thy wife shall have
a son, and Sarah.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
And Sarah, thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah
heard it in the.

Speaker 6 (57:30):
Tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah,
we're old, well stricken in age. And it ceased to
be with Sarah after the manner of women. In other words,

(57:50):
Sarah have reached the flower of Asi. And some may say, hell, God,
the Lord God might.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
Say that you are going to have a child. You
are going to have a child, and said Downfore Sarah,
locked within herself, said, after I am.

Speaker 6 (58:15):
Wax old, should I have pleasure, please are pleasure by Lord,
and being old also. So in other words, her reaction out,
she knew what your lord to Abram already heard this.

Speaker 2 (58:31):
Now he lied.

Speaker 6 (58:32):
Now she heard the same, and she laughed. Abraham laughed
and she laughed.

Speaker 2 (58:38):
Now here she now sure I am, I am I
able to please my Lord, and I'm waxed. I'm old.
This old body can't do what it was did? Amen,
ain't man? Amen, there's some good stuff, it really is.
And that's I said.

Speaker 15 (58:57):
We see here.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
That Abram, seeing three men that stood before.

Speaker 6 (59:04):
Him, called him the Lord, and the Lord himself said, well,
he says that I am the.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Almighty God, Almighty God. The three wording together is the
all mighty God. And my thought on this is the
fact that we need.

Speaker 6 (59:31):
To understand how God works and who is God. And
like I said, many of us just don't know who
God is.

Speaker 2 (59:44):
And here he appeared in the flesh to.

Speaker 6 (59:48):
Abraham at three, working in unity with one message at
this time, and the message was the fact that Abraham
and Sarah was gone to have a son. Amen and

(01:00:09):
amen and amen. That's all I have for you today.
We're so thankful to be able to bring this lesson to.
