The Lord knew he had to deal with them. Abraham began to pray, to beg, to supplicate, and to intercede for the righteous that could be found there. (Genesis 18:23-33).

We need to pray for us all. Pray if you

this government which we live under. Pray that they never

and pray they make law for all commitment, peace and

doubts about having a son in his old age, she

But the Lord re ensured Abraham that he will have
a son by his wife in her old age. Sarah
that she was going to bear for him and what
they need to do at this point.

Is saying I'm too old, but God says all things
are possible. God said, now it's this thing too hard

But what we need to recognize we serve a God

answer the prayers, but we desire.

Is our faith should be main in the Lord, regardless
of what nature and our surroundings show us.

The Lord himself said, if you have a faith as

mountain they go into the sea, and they would do that.

soon and gamorrow, of course. And the Lord said, in
other words, he is pleading his bargaining with God.

God that we can bargain with.

And here Abraham is bargaining with God.

check it out, okay, And that's what happened here.

He sent his angels down to check it out.

And lo and behold what happened when the angels went
down to check it out. What happened to the angels
is is is uther was ugly scene, if I could
feel it like that, And it reminds us of what
we do today, that how the world is is respecting

God today is so much sin that's going on.

That's why we as Christians, we that love the Lord,
we that are.

The members of the Body of Christ. We either have
a healthy relationship with the Lord. We that have a
healthy prayer life, We that keep praying constantly to the Lord.
We need to pray for this country at which we
live in, because in this country today everything goes. In

this country today, everything is all right in this country
today everything in other words, everybody, everything.

A mambrydoscar, our faith should remain in the Lord.
Speaker 8 (49:29):
The Lord himself said, if you have a faith as
the size of a monster, see we could tell a
mountain they go into the sea, and they would do that.
In other words, he would do the impossible. He would
make the impossible a possible. It's nothing too hard for
God to do. And my friend, we need to have
(49:52):
faith in that, regardless what the future made dictate to
us me goodness, how things may look, it may look
bleak at times. To keep your faith in the Lord,
(50:13):
keep your faith and hand and the Lord that he knows.
Speaker 6 (50:18):
Was best for all of us.
Speaker 8 (50:21):
And if we if our prayer life is like that,
God would never let us down. And reast why most
of us are letting down our prayers because they do.
It's not God's will for us, for us to have
certain things or for certain things to.

Occur in our lives.

But still yet we still must have.

Faith in Him. This morning, and that's what we want
to talk about this morning. We want to talk about
the prayer of Abraham for solemn and Gamarra. We want
to talk about the prayer.
Speaker 8 (51:10):
That Abe have prayed on the behalf of sorrow uh
of eight uh on' the have of Sodom.
Speaker 6 (51:20):
And we wanna talk about that prayer. If it's alright,
look to you that we talk about it. Well, I
want you to recognize we go to Uh.

I think we in Genesis eighteen. And then this lesson
gonna go to Genesis eighteen and nineteen.

Which is covering.
Speaker 8 (51:43):
And here be mored uh Bible sents and verse twenty
of chapter eighteen the sence of the Lord Shid, because
the cry of Solomn and Gomarraw is great, and because
their sin is very grievous.

I would go down now and see whether they have done.
Speaker 8 (52:14):
Done all together according to the cry of it which
has come unto me, which has come.

Unto me, which has come excuse me, which has come
unto me? And if not, I will know.

And the men turned their faces from thence and went
towards Solomon.

But Abram stood yet before the Lord. He stood before
the Lord, and he being again to.

Beg if I may use that term, he began to suffocate, suffocations.

And dig to the Lord.

For sodom, knowing that his family, his nephews, and his
wife and their children the girls, was in the law

So he began to aks God, and in verse.

Abe him, aks God.
Speaker 8 (53:53):
Will you also destroyed the righteous with the wicked? If
that be any righteous, that were you still destroyed.

And what I want you to do this more pay
cloth of the attention to Abraham's prayer. Abraham is just
not asking.
Speaker 8 (54:21):
And I want you to pay another attention to something here.
He of course Abraham and the Lord was on good turns.
They they was on good turns.

Ab that was a friend of God.

But still yet did his prayer get answered? And after
big ques the abra Ham prayer get answered. And we
want you to recognize abraham prayers here and I hope
I can finish this this morning. And here the Bible said,
(55:04):
and verse twenty four, chapter eighteen Genesis, he said, fear
adventure that be fifty righteous within the city would also destroyed,
and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that
are there?
Speaker 6 (55:22):
Is, in other words, what.
Speaker 8 (55:26):
Abe hamn't said. He said that word fearadventure me supposed.
And then the king James version said fear adventure in
other words supposed, said not supposed, My lord, if that
be fifty righteous, will you spare it for the fifty righteous?
(55:49):
And then they said, and then he's then be far
from me to do after this matter, to slay the
righteous with the wicked. And the righteous should be as
the wicked that be far from the shall not the
judge of all their do right. And the Lord said,
(56:13):
if I fi in solemn VIP be righteous within the city,
did I will stare all.

The place for their sakes?
Speaker 8 (56:26):
And then Abraham said answered and said, behold now I've
taken upon me to continue the Lord, which.
Speaker 6 (56:35):
I am but dust and ashes here.
Speaker 8 (56:41):
Like I said, you got to look at and listen
to Abe. And now he said, I am nothing. I
ain't nobody, but hear me out.
Speaker 6 (56:52):
Lord.
Speaker 12 (56:53):
Suppose spose that be.
Speaker 6 (57:08):
Said, suppose.
Speaker 8 (57:11):
That be forty, we spare it for their sake, and
in the words, I would not do it for forty sake.
And he said, unto him, Oh, let not the Lord
be angry with me. Suppose that be thirty be found there.
(57:36):
And they said, I would not do it if I
find thirty there. And he said, behold now I've taken
upon me to speak until the Lord again, Lord, Lord, Lord,
suppose that said be thirty out twenty excuse me found there?
Speaker 6 (57:57):
He said, I would not do it for it's twenty.
I would just not destroyed for the twenty sick.
Speaker 8 (58:03):
And he said again, Old Lord, not not not, I
don't wanta in other words, I don't wan't bother you,
get on your head, get on your mind, But.
Speaker 6 (58:13):
Will you let not the Lord be angry with me?
And I will forget.
Speaker 8 (58:20):
But this once supposed ten shall be found there, And
he said, I will not destroy it for ten sakes.
And the Lord went his way, and as soon as
he had left, coming with Abraham, and Abraham returned unto
(58:41):
his place.
Speaker 6 (58:43):
In other words, Abraham is beggary the Lord to spare
soon and gamorrow, of course. And the Lord said, in
other words, he is pleading his bargaining with God.
Speaker 8 (59:09):
And that's a beautiful thing incident where we have a
God that we can bargain with.
Speaker 6 (59:16):
And here Abraham is bargaining with God.
Speaker 8 (59:20):
And God say, i'm'a, i'm'a send my angels down to
check it out, okay, And that's what happened here.
Speaker 6 (59:30):
He sent his angels down to check it out.
Speaker 8 (59:38):
And lo and behold what happened when the angels went
down to check it out. What happened to the angels
is is is uther was ugly scene, if I could
feel it like that, And it reminds us of what
we do today, that how the world is is respecting
(01:00:01):
God today is so much sin that's going on.
Speaker 6 (01:00:07):
That's why we as Christians, we that love the Lord,
we that are.
Speaker 8 (01:00:13):
The members of the Body of Christ. We either have
a healthy relationship with the Lord. We that have a
healthy prayer life, We that keep praying constantly to the Lord.
We need to pray for this country at which we
live in, because in this country today everything goes. In
(01:00:35):
this country today, everything is all right in this country
today everything in other words, everybody, everything.
Speaker 6 (01:00:47):
Is all right. And when you look around you must
act your say. Where a is themorrows?
Speaker 8 (01:00:56):
Where is the bodyle Where is God's word in some
people lives, how they talk and what they believe. Oh,
my friend, and this is one thing we can say
about the Word which you will Christ is coming soon.
Speaker 6 (01:01:16):
And my friend, with that reassurance, I can.
Speaker 8 (01:01:19):
Keep on living for the Lord he calls me home.
I can keep on teaching the Word he calls me home.
I can keep on standing in the buildway baking souls
come on in as long as I recognize that my
Lord is gonna return. And that's the reason why I
