Speaker 14 (39:07):
If we down here hating. We can't love God if
we hate and now believe that's the message that John
tells us. Because God is loved. And if we want
to be like God, if we want one day to
go to heaven and be with God, we got loves
(39:29):
God so loved.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
And I know that that that is a hard pal
to swallow. But my friend, if our love is not
like Jesus Christ and he died for you and.
Speaker 14 (39:43):
For me, we can't make it, can we. We can't
make it when we got love that that that God
has slapped me. We can't make it. If we can't
love that sister that's talking bad about me, we can't
make it. We can't love our enemies that lone our friends.
(40:06):
It's easy to love those that you see every day.
It's easier love those and give you gifts and give
you monies and help you. But love somebody that hate you,
Love somebody that talks bad about you, Love somebody that
just don't care about you. Oh, my friend, that's hall,
(40:27):
isn't it. But Jesus tells us to turn the other
cheek us and he And that's sometimes it's not easy
to turn the other cheek, but that's what we need
to That's what the Gospel, that's what the Lovely Lord
calls us to do, is to love.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
Our enemies and turn the other cheek. I thought, I
said that this morning.
Speaker 14 (40:52):
I thought, if we're going to talk a lot of
the subjects that we've been talking about, we got to
learn to love each other.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Yes, we do. We must learn to love each other
than the commune with one another a man a man
a man, you go to the oscar want.
Speaker 14 (41:10):
You to do correct, Go ahead on to have your
favorite morning drink, coffee, teine, milk, juice, hot chocolate, cold chocolate, whatever.
Speaker 17 (41:19):
It may be.
Speaker 2 (41:20):
Not the Lord stuff. Chunk that out the window. You
don't need that anyway.
Speaker 14 (41:27):
And give relax if you relax in your recline each
other client or no, if you more relaxed sitting at
the din that table, go ahead on and have a seat.
But what we request are require of you to have
where you're chatting from the Word with us, our studying
the Bible with us, is to have a copy of
(41:51):
the Word of God, so that you may see where
we are coming from, so.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
We may start together his word.
Speaker 14 (41:59):
And I've said on numious occasions if any time that
you disagree with me, you can always text me. Let
me know, Brother Oscar, I just don't see it that
way or the scripture.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
That's not say that. But the only thing I.
Speaker 14 (42:14):
Ask of you, if you want to debate me on
anything that I have said, have book, chapter and purse
proving your point. Not something you heard in the poorfit.
Not something and mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma been doing.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
That's a tradition, but what is contained in the oracles
of God. And that's all but the Oscar ask of you.
Speaker 14 (42:42):
And since I have heard no one I said anything
about the things I've said, I must be I must
be doing. Okay, I'm not perfect, but it's all by God,
and I'm blessed by God, and I love Him and
I thank Him every day. Paul putting it that desire
(43:03):
in me to know his word and to teach his
words and to love his word. And I hope that
many of you have the same desire, because what the
world needs now.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
More than love, is others telling others about Jesus Christ.
Speaker 14 (43:19):
Look around you, Look how bad shape the world is
in when it comes to love in Christ and knowing
the truth of its word. And now to me and
I heard this the other day, is even more false
teaching just as the truth is more acceptable.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
To receive it now since we have.
Speaker 14 (43:40):
The Internet and mid programs that others are teaching their
beliefs and their word. Yes, Savan is dizzy and we
that are teaching the truth. And I believe this is
the best statement I can make. I'll make it like
this is the fact that we are teaching the truth
of God's word. Our job is getting tough, isn't it.
(44:05):
So we got to be more precise when it comes
to teaching the truth of God's Word. We got to
teach it. If we are going to teach it, we
got to know what we're talking about. Because those that
are teaching false teaching much they're stepping up.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
So we need that we to have a truth. We
need to know the truth and step up as well
and tell others about.
Speaker 14 (44:30):
Jesus Christ, because sometimes to truth get all.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Muffled up among false teachings.
Speaker 14 (44:41):
And some of these false teachings teachers they're using the
Bible to prove that point as well.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
So it's just on pay just to know how to
be saved, how to get saved, how to stay saved.
But you've got to know the Word.
Speaker 14 (45:00):
Enough to be able to go to fight against the
wilds of Satan, sayan not they're teaching his truths. So
we must know God choose to protect the teaching that
we do teach, to protect the one doctrine, the one Christ,
(45:23):
the one love, the one body, the one baptism. We
got to know because it's so much false teaching that's
going around the world. And if we don't teach the
truth as Christians we the know the truth, who will?
And we need to stand up for the truth of
(45:46):
God's word. This morning, we want to continue talking about pray.
Let's pray, Let's pray. And I know many believe, specially
big that in Christ believe that God hears everybody's prayer.
(46:11):
I hear that so many times God hears your prayers.
God hears everyone prayers. But I decide to not talk
about this this morning, to look at it in a
different perspective, to see do God hear every prayer?
Speaker 13 (46:32):
I believe.
Speaker 14 (46:32):
We want to look at Isaiah this morning, and we
want to see what Isaiah says about it a little
bit because going back to going back to our texts
and Genesis nineteen eighteen and eighteen nineteen chapter where we're
(46:57):
talking about Abraham and I'm finding out that God is
getting ready to destroy Sodom of the marble and Abraham
that's God, will you destroy the righteous with the wicked?
And he start number giving God a number, and so
he got to ten, will you spare it? Uh the
(47:20):
sodomgamar for ten righteous, and God said, if I find
ten righteous, I will spell spare these cities.
Speaker 12 (47:29):
Here.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
Abraham is French God.
Speaker 14 (47:33):
In some instance he's pleading with God in he to
spare these two cities.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
But the question is does God here's everyone prayers.
Speaker 14 (47:49):
The reason why God heard Abraham because God and Abraham had.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
A good relationship.
Speaker 14 (47:58):
Abraham and God was friends, amhaming God was close, amhaving
God commune together. They love each other, commune together.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
They was close. They had a knit understanding, a tight understanding.
They was.
Speaker 14 (48:18):
Abamn't recognized who the Father his Lord is. Okay, And
so we could take a page from abraham life there
to add to.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Our prayer life.
Speaker 14 (48:33):
If you want the Lord to hear your prayers, you
must be in the same relationship that Abraham is having
with the Lord here. If you want the Lord to
to pay close attention to your prayers, you must have
(48:53):
that commune with him.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
You must be close with him. You must be a
friend of his, and all of him will be your father.
Speaker 14 (49:04):
Isaiah says, it's turned with us to Isaiah forty nine.
And I love what Isaiah he says here, because he's
not saying that God do not hear, but he only
He also states the reason why God cannot hear every
(49:25):
once prayer. Here Isaiah said in the Isaiah fifty nine,
verses one and two, he said, behold, the Lord's hand
is not shortened that it cannot say, need his ear heavy?
They cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you
(49:53):
and your God, and your sins have hid is from
you that he will not here. It's not the fact
he don't hear, but it is the fact, the cause
(50:13):
of iniquities, because of sins.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
That he cannot hear. That he won't hear. Now, I
say he came here, okay, And.
Speaker 14 (50:27):
We must understand this point because if we are living
in sin, and this is what Isaiah is preferring to
you here, if we are living in sin. Then we
are constantly living in sin, and we don't feed things
as God sees.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
It or be in tune with his word.
Speaker 12 (50:46):
How do we.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
Expect from God to ask our prayers? How do we
expect that we must be in a due relationship with
the Lord?
Speaker 14 (50:59):
In other words, I wur prayer life, but must be
a consistently, a consistent, a consistent prayer life with the Lord.
And Tessalonians turned with me to Tessalonians. But I'm getting
here of myself. Yeah, I'm getting ahead of myself. I
(51:23):
want to get to hid of myself. I'm getting I'm
getting hit of myself. But God does guy here in
every prayer. And that's what we're exploring right now. And
back in Matthew and I want to talk about this.
Matthew six, Jesus' disciple asked him Jesus and was telling
(51:50):
his disciples how to pray, and he meant, in Matthew six, Jesus,
after this manner, therefore prayed.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Our Father, which art in heaven, How be thy name
that kingdom come, that will be done earth as it
is in heaven.
Speaker 14 (52:21):
Give us that there are daily bread after give us
our deaths as we forgive our debtors and leave us
my attemptation, but deliver us from evil for diagnostic kingdom
and the power and the glory forever.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
Amen.
Speaker 14 (52:39):
Here Jesus says, when you pray, don't worry about yourself.
But when you pray, address me as your father, because
that's who I am. Jesus said, Well, you pray your father,
he's your father. Address him, allow him to know you,
(53:01):
recognize his holy, he's holy.
Speaker 2 (53:05):
Reverence him, love him, and respect him.
Speaker 14 (53:11):
And when you pray, don't pray a vain prayer, pray
out of vanity.
Speaker 2 (53:19):
But pray for others. Jesus tells us here is to
pray for those.
Speaker 14 (53:30):
Prayer forgive of our debts, as we forgive who our debtors,
or how as we forgive others. And sometimes for us
to prayer a prayer like this and truly mean it,
we got to really mean that we want to forgive others.
(53:53):
And some times forgiving others is a hard deal to
swallow us some because we true we have to have
a forgiving heart specs when the others have done us
soul so wrong, we must have a forgiving heart, mind
(54:15):
and soul. And when we're praying for them. We need
to truly mean it from our work hearts. Oh we
can't a lot of God God know, but we are
right to being right with Him. But here God said,
before you pray for anything else, pray for others. Pray
(54:40):
for others. And this what Abraham was doing here back
in our Genesis eighteen. He will praying for southern tomorrow.
Pray for those that was right.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
To to be saved and to be spared. My friend,
we pray.
Speaker 14 (54:58):
We got to have the same the idea that Abraham
have here is praying for others. That's why I ask
some time we need to pray for this world in
which we live in, because this world is going in
a direction.
Speaker 2 (55:16):
That's pulling them away from God. Stashing us said.
Speaker 14 (55:19):
We got the internet, and many are false teachers of
false teachers or teaching their thing, and sometimes the truth
could be false up with false teachings on the Internet.
That's why, well, let me say this, that's why I'm
(55:40):
so glad that I present this program to you Mondays
through Fridays. Well, we can examine the truth of the
Word of God, because it's so important to examine the
truth of the Word of God, because there's so much
false teachings going out.
Speaker 2 (55:58):
I just impt you, Briandoska does.
Speaker 17 (56:01):
When I hear.
Speaker 2 (56:03):
False teachings on the airways and I know it's false,
I just pray for them. I just pray that God
will give them the understanding of what the true scriptures
are saying and does say okay, And that's my prayer
for all false teaching.
Speaker 14 (56:23):
But the catchers they are, of course they're making those
are teaching the truth. Give them a hard task of
feach the truth. But you know what we do in
the church sometimes, and I'm gonna say this, sometimes we
want to do the same thing they're doing. We want
(56:43):
to teach the same thing they're doing. And our worship
we want to be happy and have big time choirs
and do what they're doing. And our worship teaching the
same thing is our teaching, which don't help.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
It hurts our word, our focus, which is Jesus Christ.
If we are going to teach the same thing that
they're teaching.
Speaker 14 (57:10):
Oh, my friend, that's why I'm so glad that the
Lord had blessed me to bring the truth of God's
word on.
Speaker 2 (57:17):
This beautiful, beautiful program. And yes, by the Oscar recognized
the task that is before him. Because I hear folks
teachings on the internet all.
Speaker 14 (57:29):
The time, but I keep, I keep the Word with
in my mind, with all my heart, within my language,
within my mouth, within my tongue, so I.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
May know him and the truth of his word.
Speaker 14 (57:44):
And sometimes we need to examine the truth of the
word constantly.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
To make sure we're still heavy in the right direction.
Speaker 14 (57:53):
That's why I'm so delighted to talk about prayer this morning,
because we need to know if God hears our prayer?
Do God hears our prayer? Do God answer our prayer?
And that's the question I want to ask to Do
God answer our prayers? And I think we went over
(58:14):
that on yesterday, didn't we? We we went to I
think John who went to first John first John five?
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Do Gud hear every prayer? We know he doesn't hear
he send.
Speaker 14 (58:34):
Us prayer, But do God answer every prayer? Do God
answer every prayer? And I believe we touched on this
or yesterday. Do God answer every prayer?
Speaker 6 (58:52):
And here.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
John the apostle, John.
Speaker 14 (58:58):
First John five, want to slow it down the bit
and we might finish this up on tomorrow. Here John
says in first, John five, beginning with verse fourteen, he said,
and this is the confidence that we have in him
(59:19):
that if we ask anything according to his will, he
hearth He hearth us. Now, he's why I'm saying I
want to slow it down the bit, because we need
to pay attention to who we is here here, John said,
and this is.
Speaker 2 (59:38):
The confidence that we have. Who is John talking about?
Speaker 14 (59:43):
John here is talking about the Church, the Body of Christ,
those that have a fellowship with him. Those are the
same beliefs, those who have the same understanding.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
Of what John has.
Speaker 14 (59:56):
And this is who John is talking about here in
the beginning, He's talking about those that are in the body.
Speaker 22 (01:00:03):
Of Christ, and say, this is the confidence that we
have in him that if we ask anything according.
Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
To his will, he here with us. And if we
know that he hear us.
Speaker 23 (01:00:24):
Rush however we ask, we know that we have the
par petitions.
Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
We have the petitions.
Speaker 14 (01:00:37):
Now, when you look at the word petitions and we're
gonna define it tomorrow, do that mean that God is
answering our prayers and we're gonna look at that tomorrow.
You want to know what petitions is all about? And
we're gonna talk about that tomorrow. Join us tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
Because we're gonna look got this word petitions, because.
Speaker 14 (01:01:02):
I believe that's the reason why most of us are
so cloudy up about our prayer life. Do God answer
every prayer? So, my friend, if you want to hear
us good, good, good, good chat on tomorrow, join us
tomorrow as we talk about let us pray.
Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Amen.
Speaker 14 (01:01:24):
Amen, we'll so delight that you're joined us this morning,
and we will show delight to come into your home
or your job, whatever you're listening towards that. We want
to thank you for listening. And we hope that's a
chast that we're having on making sense to you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
And and they are.
Speaker 14 (01:01:42):
Helping you to understand God's words. They are influencing you
to study more God's words. They're influencing you to know
who God is, to love him and to have a
beautiful relationship with the Lord. Amen and amen, and we
(01:02:02):
all take you join us tomorrow. We'll see you tomorrow.
So come back tomorrow where we can finish this lesson
on how let us pray. Let us pray, Amen, Amen,
Let us pray Our Father, Rejod Heaven hollow it be
thy name, Thy kingdom is here, Our will is being done. Father.
(01:02:22):
Just want thank you for allowing us to be in
this ministry. Father, we want thank you for allowing us
to know your words, love your word, to steak your words,
to live your word.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Father. We pray for all of our listeners. Father, We
pray that you be.
Speaker 14 (01:02:37):
With them, guide them, help them to all the troubles
that they're going to. Those us sick, heal thy bodies
and be thy will. If not help them the cope
with their sickness, Thou may the grace of God's swee
communion of the Holy Spirit, resturu and abide with us until.
Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
