at that was it. You know, I'm an all time
big Georgia Bulldogs fan.
Speaker 1 (07:30):

there go my dogs. Then Alabama came back.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Time time for our Georgia football fans, our Dogs and

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Rival Bama Alabama road time. Yeah. Yeah, man, let us know,
because again I was just sitting there in awe of
this new you know, this whole situation without you know,
the evil genius Nick Saban, who of course let the
that Alabama to so many notorious big wins part of
(08:18):
I guess sportscaster's team, you know, sideline reporting and just
being a part of that. But listen, halftime really was
really fighting, fighting for dear life. Oh my goodness, this game,
the emotions that I'm feeling right now, just reliving. How
(08:39):
are our Bulldogs fell to Alabama?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
And you know, I always say the one team that
I fight against every chance I kicked, it's Alabama.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
It's two teams. Actually it's the Saints and it's Alabama.
And I told my I was like, if if the
Bulldogs are lose.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Tonight, this is almost a glimpse of what's going happen tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
It gets the Saints. But fingers crossed, I'm rebuking that,
I'm rebooking it. I'm taking it back, and then I

Speaker 1 (09:52):
You know what is happening, But what is Crimson Tide
roll Tide Alabama?
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Who is he rolling with? Who? Because I know it's
quite a few people out there. There are dog fans,
quite a few Atlantans are big, big Alabama fans.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
What is your collegiate team? Who is your team that
you are rolling with this year? It's been tough calls
for me all the way around, you know, And I
will say not one of those people that sit here
and say, you know, I'm Atlanta all day every day
and don't support my Atlanta teas.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
You know quite a few people that do that that lives.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
In my home.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
But I will not. I am not gonna call you out,
but you know who you are. I don't want to know,
you know, who are you rolling with this season? Because bluck,
there's a lot going on. It is so much happening
in our sports world.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Colorado, you know DM Sanders team, who are you rolling
with this year? I definitely want to make sure that
you let us know on social media who you're rolling with.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Of course, Week six for our Georgia Bulldogs, they will
be going on, moving on. I know Alabama they're going
to face Vanderbilt on October before, which is going to
be a pretty good, pretty pretty good game.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
And of course our Georgia Bulldogs go go Dogs, Go
a Dolls, Go Dogs. Their schedule is it's going to
be They're going to face against Auburn at three point
thirty at of course home, you know, Sanfford Stadium.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
It's gonna be pretty good. That's gonna be a good game.
I'm not a big albron fan as well, but here's
here's it is Sanford Stadium in Athens. Alburn is heading
to base against our dogs. I can't wait. Week six.
It's upply US now sports and lovelies. Listen, listen, listen, let'sten,
(11:52):
keep it move and keep everything going. I've always said
to you right this here.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Has been a journey for me in the Atlanta you know,
rising up, standing up and just loving our women.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
You know that's taken.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Over sports, you know, from the Atlanta Vite volleyball team
to you know, the Atlanta Dreams.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
So phenomenal to be just in the cuffs of.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
It all, you know what I mean, just sitting here
watching everyone just get excited about women in sports because listen,
it was not like that a couple of years ago.
I will sit here and tell you how many times
it took for us to fill up that arredient. But
that arena where the you know, especially for the dream
when they're playing at Georgia Tack, you know, and it's
(12:41):
just phenomenal to see how far we've come and how
much our state.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
You know what I mean, like our people.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
It's so great and phenomenal to see how Georgia is
really rallying around our teams, you know, and the women
that are in sports. So I can't wait for their
upcoming season for Atlanta Volleyball. That'll be happening soon. I
know they have a new coach, new leadership. We'll be
covering them pretty soon. Of course, our Atlanta Atlanta Dream Team. Look,
(13:18):
I'll have more information about that coming up. After the
breakthrough we talk about WNBA news. But you know what,
I just wanted to give a homage to all of
the ladies out there supporting sports, whether you're supporting your
children and sports, whether you're supporting your daughters, whether you're
supporting your husbands, you know, with their little fantasy football teams.
(13:39):
All right, if you've got a fantasy football team, okay,
I've seen you. That's a lot of time and effort.
And I'm telling you right now, kudos to those women
out there that really have their little brackets and their
little fantasy football teams going on.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
You go, girl, I see you, I see you. But
coming up after the break will be our WNBA news.
Stay tuned, because we'll be there.
Speaker 1 (14:17):

wa NBA news is upon us.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
And you know what, Oh my goodness, my.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Team, the Atlanta dream of course, you know, if you've
been living under a rock, you should not be surprised
that our dream season comes to an end after the
playoff loss to the Liberty Plus. You know, we followed
the Atlanta Dreams journey through the WNBA playoffs. Listen, you
(15:30):
witnessed so many successful things happening with our team, from
the heighs, the lows, the peace playoff fourn came to
just an abrupt in ninety one to eighty two to
New York. This was Game two, of course, it eliminated
our team out.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Of contentions on Tuesday night.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Of course, this was such a disappointing and just you know,
moment of like we almost did it, but we didn't.
It's almost reminiscent to last season as well, almost the
same scenario. We're hoping to push the game to the
a where, of course our Atlanta fans would be in
(16:08):
full gear, you know, full solidarity to our Atlanta routine.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
But it just didn't happen.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
And of course, you know, some may consider this as
an implication of feat but it's worth saying that this
outcome was a great.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Achievement and collective growth.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Okay, for our Atlanta Dreams in their twenty twenty four campaign.
I will say to you, guys, I'm so proud of
our Lanta Dream team. Just look, you know, Charles the Vet,
Ryan Howard, Alicia Gray, amazing, amazing players.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
They all reached double figures, highlighting the team's offensive capability.
You know.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
And if I have to talk about Lucia Gray, let
me just say this in particular.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
She's shone her sway through.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Oh my gosh, I could not say this without saying,
I just every time I see you, Alisha, I just
want to sing, I just listen. Alicia Gray, she just
shined bright like a diamond and playoff career highs at
twenty six points.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Of course, she had three rebounds.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
To assist in a block, highlighting her all around just
contribution to the team, you know, And it's just amazing
that last game, Alisha just really showed up.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Coach Wright. I will say this perspective wise, I think.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
You know, she really let this team this scene was
a resilient team. So many things that I could say
about Coach right turning this team around.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
We were like mid season pretty much just openand we somehow,
some way she.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Was able to you know, redirect this team to a
winning status and get us to the playoffs. A lot
of people are saying this though, they're saying like, look,
lo man, she must go.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
They're calling for her head. I'm gonna tell you this,
you know, sirs, to say, Chasty is here to stay.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
She's not going anywhere. She's going to be here for
the long run. So tough tissue to those who.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Disagree, because it is what it is. I think she
did a great job considering.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
You know, we had injuries when Chyenne got injured, and
things went not so great for Atlanta Dream. But here's
the thing, this still is a young team. You know,
we still have so many missing pieces. We have so
many pieces that we're trying to put together and we
almost find the answer, but there's still quite a few
things that we have to kind of look at and
(18:43):
they will be reflecting on and awesome. So look again,
this team was resilient the growth throughout the year. This
has led to a solid foundation for the Atlanta Dream's future.
Now listen, Liberty did their thing.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
That look that was pain hurt it. Yeah, it's so bad,
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
But we must continue on. Now we'll say the Dream's
journey is far from over. The best is yet to
come for our Atlanta team, and I wanted you guys
to just continue to support our Atlanta Dream.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
We in it. The future is right, the future is bright.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
And for you guys who have been following us, you
know throughout the duration of you know, covering the Atlanta Dream,
covering the Gladiators, covering you know, the Falcons, the Hawks,
I want you to just really take a look at
everything and just be like, you know what, We're going
to continue to support our Atlanta Dream team.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Because it's where they don't go nowhere. This team is
here to stay.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Coach t is here to stay, and most importantly, make
sure that you just support our Atlanta Dream and sports lovelies,
make sure you check out Atlanta Dreaming podcast on all
streaming platforms. You'll find me the self proclaims were Sneesta
chatting about everything to landa dreams with my three my
brother from another mother.
Speaker 2 (20:09):

Coming up after the break is my smate ang moment.
Stay tuned, will be batter.
Speaker 1 (20:31):

Oh oh no, this but for didn't. Okay, okay, s
at least welcome back my Poundery moment? Is it fun
(21:34):
at sound? Look? I just this one is a.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
Very unique situation because I am sitting here just this weekend,
just kind of you know, chilling out at at how
many events going on. But that may change in the
next couple of weeks, so I'm just enjoying the quiet
time for now. I look, Aaron hernandezh that documentary that
was on Netflix. I had to just kind of do
(21:58):
a deep dive into it and I was just out
so many fascinating information about Aaron R.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Nandez.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Yeah, if you haven't seen that documentary, please make sure
you check that out on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
And yeah, it.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Was a shocker, it was a thriller. It's called her
Nandez Story of Titan. It is luck.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
What can I tell you? It is tragic.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
I guess that would be the best word I can say.
It's just a tragic true story, American sports story, just
showing just there's so many dimensions to people, right in
all seriousness, and I'm going to be as transparent as
(22:54):
I could.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Possibly be and let me stand corrected.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Fac They're going to really a doctor mentory about the
controversial career of Aaron Hernandez. Of course, former New England
Patriots tight end. He died in jailed in twenty seventeen.
The show is supposed to explore his rise to fame,
his criminal activities, and of course his tragic death. The
casts or the actor he was going to be portraying him,
(23:22):
It's going to be several actors. They're going to be
portraying Bill Bellich's Chack, Tim Tebow. Yeah, this is going
to be a great one. I'm going to watch that
one too, but this particular one, it was on Netflix,
and I was just so frigging shot. I was so
so taken aback because I just it was so many
(23:43):
things that I could not grasp during the time of
twenty seventeen. During that time period, right, so it's called
Killer Inside. This was on Netflix, Okay, The Mind of
Aaron Fernandez. Great great examination of how he went from
being so successful to being a convicted killer. The series
(24:06):
just went into a deep dive into just his tumultuous life,
exploring just factors such as his sexuality, right his currentic
you know, strama to its head that we later found
out he had a severe one of the most severe
cases of CTEV for a person of his age, and
(24:26):
just the culture of football, you know, and how that
may have contributed to his downfall.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
One thing that stood out most about this Netflix documentary
about Aaron Hernandez Killer Insight, and this is old.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
It's actually, you know, it's been out since twenty twenty,
and I'm pretty sure some people have already seen this.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
But listen, don't judge.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
This is my first time, you know, actually taking a
deep dive and just looking into Aaron Hernandez's story.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Of course we've covered it right, but I.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Just wanted to see from a journalistic perspective, just to
see the point of views that, you know, kind of
how these this timeline of things that happened during that
time period.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
It was fascinating. You know, I did not know that
he was sexually abused as a kid. His brother kind
of confirmed that. Yeah, it plays a lot. So before you.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Judge aaronar Nandez, I definitely would like you to use
this Netflix.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Documentary.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
And I want to know too, are you going to
be watching the other Fox you know, FX documentary as well?
What let us know, let us know what you're going
to do, because all I can say it was a
shaking my moment, shaking my hand moment, rather shaking my moment.
I probably was shaken in that moment, but now was
(25:48):
shaking my hand moment. It was an OMG moment. And
let's just say, you know, the victims of Aaron Hernandez.
Of course, I thought, and peris continue to go out
to you, because no one deserves that, No one absolutely deserve.
But I see there's two victims here, you know, there
are two actual victims here. And some would always say
and quick to say, well, you know what, you know,
(26:10):
you can't blame CTE or all of this or all
of its actions. Why can't you? Because we all have
different perspectives, we all think differently, Right, I may have cancer.
Someone else may have cancer. My cancer. We may have
the same as that cancer, but my body does something
totally different from that other person's body, right, So we
can't sit here and say, well I wouldn't or they wouldn't.
(26:31):
Then you can't blame Why could you not? You know,
if a person is suffering with that CTE, you know, trauma,
they have a distort idea of reality. You know, their
perspective is much different from a regular nor who is
normal these days.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Honestly, but you know what.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
I mean, it's just odd that people are quit to say,
you know, you can't say you know that is the
reason why he just went out there? Why can't And
that you add in trauma, you add in someone being
sexually you know, abused, not not.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Condoning this behavior at all. But just take a deeper
look into Parkuller inside the mind of arian Nanders. I'm
selling you you will learn a lot.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
And yeah, that's all I got today. Sports lovelies make
sure that you check that out. You have a different perspective,
pretty sure. And if you don't, let us know, because
I want to know, let us know your thoughts. I'm
social media and this is my smh.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
O MG moment worth thosege.

Sports lovelyes, Please welcome back to Sharia roll to Chick
in a Sports of courts.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Welcome, Welcome to Jicks in the Sports. You've had a
sensive career in both academia and the corporate world with
all over a decade of experience and just your higher
education in corporate accounty. How has your background in these
hills influenced your approach to entrepreneurship and how do you
balance your many many rows of your woman?
Speaker 4 (28:47):
Oh god, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
So from each of my careers, I always you know,
talk about my two careers academia, education and then my
corporate career that I had. So from each of those
career paths, I've actually taken piece of something and incorporated
into my entrepreneurship endeavors. For my corporate career, discipline, patience,
(29:14):
those were like the two main things I learned from
that aspect. And then also as far as the actual
job I did, I was a corporate accountant, so budgeting,
financial reporting, those basic book keeping things. I learned that
in my corporate career and have taken that into entrepreneurship.
And then the academia side, oh god, just so much,
(29:36):
especially out of HBCU juggling so many tasks and then
wearing those many hats. So with that, I definitely learned
balance and prioritizing delegating. But you know, I still have
issues or challenges with delegation. I'm just so used to always,
you know, me taking on this task and doing it,
(29:57):
you know, and not delegating.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
So absolutely absolutely. But you know, you are the founder
of Business Mogo, LLC and the mcal Smatter Foundation. Now
you're committed to empowering future leaders through education and financial
literacy and just share more about the works these organizations
are doing and just to impact you're hoping to make yep.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
So Business Moco i'm LLC actually is a magazine.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
So it started off as an online business news source
and then in that year it turned into a digital magazine,
and then a year later during COVID twenty twenty, it
turned into an actual print magazine. Wow four years in
print now, Wow amazing. And so Business Mogal magazine is
(30:44):
a business and cultural focus magazine. So each article that
I put in there is either educational or informative. One
thing I have always said I would stay away from
when it came to the magazine was you know, nasty
and politics collumns and things like that, because that's not what.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Our values in our mission consists of. I've actually had
people reach out like, hey, you know, I'm running for this,
this and this. Can I get an article now? But
if you that's going on outside of politics, we got you.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yeah, I feel you on that. Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
We just didn't want to touch that, you know, our piece.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
We actually also did a special edition for my university's
business school, So we pretty much put together a special
edition issue with a magazine and high id student and
faculty achievements, the business school news, all things dealing with
the campus and the particular business school, and that was
pretty cool to put that together and interview students and professors, so.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
That was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
And then on the foundation side, yeah, you're actually broken
into three different pillars which we do our programming and
initiatives through. So we have business educationinancial literacy, and legacy leadership.
And so with each of those I always incorporate, you
know that into everything.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
That you know that I do, absolutely, absolutely, but less
here I'm looking at this luxury fragrance with Mogile Home.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
That oh gosh, So that actually the newest brand. So
when I initially created Business Mogule LLC, I knew I
wanted to have other pieces underneath it. That's why I
didn't have it labeled just as Business Mobile magazine. So
over time I've placed different pieces under the mobile brand
(32:44):
and they each.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Touched on different industries.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
So Business Mogile Magazine, of course it is the media publication,
and then we have Moguls Matter Foundation, which is our
community piece and give back, and then mogle Home is
our luxury candle and fragrance line.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
So even with the logo of Mogul.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
It's a puzzle piece with four different pieces, and one
piece is detached from the puzzle piece, and that just
represents the one Mogul brand with the different pieces that
end up connecting together.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Oh my gosh, sure you are so mustititalented? I mean
diverse portfolio?
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Hello, And it's crazy because when I was a student
in undergrad one of the things my first business business
professor taught me was to always diversify your portfolio.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
So I learned that early on.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
I was seventeen years old coming into college and had
my first business class, and you know, he was very
adamant about making sure you're not just doing one piece,
make sure that even your degree. So when I ended
up going to graduate school and want to get my doctorate,
I stayed in the business sector, but I touched on
different aspects of the business areas.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Listen, that is so important. I'm so happy that you
shared that with me because look, just looking at your
background of course, production management for major events like BT
and the Essence Festival, I mean, how much more diverse
can you be? But that is so wonderful and awesome.
But most importantly, what has that taught you about just leadership.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Oh wow, a lot just learned from day one, starting
from scratch, you know, you know, leaving school, going into corporate,
you know, transitioning after that after ten years, and I've
learned something on leadership in every aspect of every job
I've done, every position I've taken project. When it comes
(34:44):
to the entertainment and production side, I would to always
make sure that anything I did was intentional, and I
only would take on projects or contracts that align with
my own personal values and the brand and have to
make sure it made sense. So when I was doing
you know, BT Awards events and Essence festival production, you know,
(35:07):
just learned a lot. You know, the leaders that came
before me that actually taught me the production entertainment side
of things, you know, learned how to be patient, especially
entertainment industry.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Right, oh gosh, patients.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
And then you know, I remember talking to one of
my mentors in the industry, and I will always take
on so many projects and we'll do it for free, right,
And it became to be a burnout.
Speaker 4 (35:33):
And so after a while, I was like, I'm not
volunteering anymore.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
And so when I end up going to a couple
of my my contracts like, hey, you know, what's the
compensation going to look like moving forward?
Speaker 4 (35:45):
And I get, oh, really don't have a budget.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
But you were taking my expertise, my talents, my advice,
you know, and then now you don't have a budget
and time. So one thing I learned about that leadership
role is I what I don't want to do or
what I don't want others to do when they come forward,
you know, my businesses, even the educational side, you know, moving.
Speaker 4 (36:13):
Forward, be intentional when it comes in leadership.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Lead with intent, move with intent. That's what I would
say about that. I love that.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
I love that. But you know what, I guess we
didn't even touch on your actor, Hello, White Collar, Black
Pump series. What messages you hope to convey through these
books and how do they fit into just the broader
mission of empowering women in business and of course leadership.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
So when I started my career, of course was in
corporate yet I was young. I was in my early twenties,
and you know, it was very rare to have someone
of my positions at my age. So I will always
get you know, comments from you know, senior leadership. Well
you can't do this job or move forward because and
(37:03):
they would never say my age because that's discrimination, but
you know they would make comments geared towards my.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Age when it came to that.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
So when I ended up leaving corporate ten years later,
one of my first ventures were writing a book, and
so I wanted to create a series, and initially was
gonna be five books, but I was able to find
everything to three three books.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
So pretty much white collar, black black Pumps.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
You know, it follows the lives of fairly successful women
from entrepreneurship attorneys and then the challenges that they had
in their careers, relationships, family, because we have those issues
and challenge But the one thing that all the characters
had in common was staying true to those values. And
(37:50):
even with the book, a lot of the people I
would say, like a five percent of the book were
my own lived experiences when it came to corporate America,
and you know, those same challenges that I spoke.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
About in the book.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
And even with my value I tell everybody all the time, faith, family, fitness,
and business and all those I convey that message in
my books and then how women can kind of overcome
those barriers, those challenges you know and just move forward.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
That is so fantastic. Oh my gosh, this is so amazing.
Sure ya listen, I totally get it. Corporate America is
something else I too, started in my early twenties, and
let me just say it was not the best experience,
but I've learned a lot from it, and I really
thank you for sharing that, because again I can understand
(38:40):
fully one hundred percent. And can I just say this
representation means a lot.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Okay, everything, Yes.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
You know, so yes, yes, yes, but mostly partly Shuria,
it has been amazing speaking with you. I want you
to stay safe wherever you are. You know, listen, when
you come back to Georgia hang out with me.
