Speaker 1 (23:35):
Welcome back, sports levelies, Please welcome our special guests. Per
Sol Coulshit asked Joseph To in the sport.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Oh, welcome, we wel profcial to chips to the sports.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
I definitely wanted to just jump right in and ask
you tell us about just persual the experience. What inspired
you to create this healing conference for women now again?

Speaker 5 (24:01):
Yes, So what inspired me to do this conference is,
of course I was experiencing grief, which called some trauma
from the death of my father, and so I created
a healing journal in conjunction with some healing affirmation cards
that pretty much catered to the people who are on

(24:22):
a healing journey, right, And so when I did that,
I was like, man, like, I really need to do
something different, like something be to extend that help. And
that's how I came up with hersl the Experience, And
I didn't name it conference because I wanted them to
really gain any experience on a healing journey. I'm also

(24:45):
a licensed therapist, but I also tell people a lot
of times like, yeah, I'm a therapist, that's my career,
that's what I love to do. But I'm also human
and I go through trauma. I go through things in
life as well that I need to process go from.
So that's kind of how her Soul came about awesome.

Speaker 7 (25:04):
Now, can you just speak on some of the biggest
challenges just that women faced when it comes to just
healing from trauma and how does her Soul address those issues?

Speaker 5 (25:15):
I would say the biggest challenge is fear, wow, fear
feeling safe because of course, when we're healing in trauma,
we're not as open with discussing that, we're not as
vulnerable right to be able to share because we don't
want to be judged. We feel like, you know, we're

(25:36):
not going to get any help. So a lot of
times it's a fear right and it's also a fear
because of course, when you're healing, you have to go
back to the things that hurt you, and that's painful.
No one wants to continue inflicting pain on themselves. So
in an essence with that, for the actual event, it

(25:59):
offers them a safe space, right to be able to
be in the room with other women that have experienced
trauma as well, you know, rate, domestic violence, you know,
all different types of trauma, because one isn't better than
the other.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
So that's what we offer.

Speaker 5 (26:17):
We offer healing and help from a clinical experience and
also a spiritual experience, because I feel like you need both.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
Absolutely, I totally agree with Bil. And you know what,
Persaul has already found success in Houston. What makes the
Atlanta edition special or different?

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Well, I think for the most part, it makes it
special because we're taking this event to different areas.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Right.

Speaker 5 (26:49):
I always talk about the fact of even when I
see clients with therapy, you know you can do in person,
you do telehealth. Not everybody may have had the means
to get to hear Houston. So I had a lot
of people requesting it to come to Atlanta, and I'm
like people saying, Okay, we got to take this on
the road. The first event was really amazing. We impacted

(27:11):
a lot of women. Let's move it to other places,
and Atlanta was one of the pole places that would
be on our next stop.

Speaker 7 (27:18):
Wow, oh my gosh, that is amazing. Of course, I'm
sure it's going to be very successful. But look, yes,
very impressive lineup and it includes powerful voices like real
Talk Kim and Samantha Lee. And where did they just
bring to the table and how do their stories resonate
with your mission?

Speaker 5 (27:39):
I want women to see that, even women of statue,
women who are doing well in their lives. Right, They
go through things just like everybody else. Absolutely, they experienced trauma,
They have day to day challenges just like the regular woman. Right,
And so I want these people to see that that Wow, man,

(28:01):
I thought she had it all together. No, we all deal.
And then of course you know you have myself. I'm
a licensed therapist, I'm licensing multiple states. Samantha Lee is
a licensed clinical social worker by trade. You have Crystal Clear,
she's a trauma coach, and you have real talk Kim,
who was that pastor that's on fire? So that way

(28:23):
my goal to attack it from clinical and spiritual. It
all compasses that. So that's why I really chose that
lineup because they're getting both aspects of that because when
you're healing from stuff, you can't do one without the other.

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Absolutely, you know that is giving me chills. I love
how you just incorporated all of those into one package.
And this is again going to be amazing because this
event combines keynote speakers, interactive sessions, networking and just think
about it, and I just guess my question is how
do these elements work together to create just as formativist

(29:00):
marriage for all the atendees.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
Well, they get to hear from women. Each of the
women will share share their stories, but we also want
to hear from the women in the audience because we
want to be able to pour into them help them
on their journey. We also know, like even from spiritual
or even from clinical, sometimes we got to do work journaling.
So we're gonna do interactive exercises that are going to say, hey,

(29:26):
how do we get to the core of what's actually
going on with you. We're gonna have them work together
in groups because guess what, you may come there by yourself,
but you're gonna leave there with a woman friend, right
that may be your accountability partner on your journey. Yes,
that you can work together with. So that's how all
of that ties in together to where it's like, cause

(29:48):
we already know healing. It's it looks different from everybody,
but we still have work to do. It may cause
us meditating, it may cause us journaling, it may cause
us taking you know, early morning walk, sitting with self
because I always believe that when we're healing from something,
we gotta go with self, because we sometimes have to
forgive ourselves before we can forgive anybody else.

Speaker 7 (30:10):
Absolutely, yeah, you know what, Slosia, I feel like I
just had their posession with you.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
I'm feeling good.

Speaker 7 (30:21):
I am feeling good. Oh my goodness. So most importantly,
please plug it our soul up. I know it's coming
to Atlanta. What are the dates and how can we
find it on social media?

Speaker 5 (30:31):
So Her Soul the experience is going to be happening
November ninth in Atlanta, Georgia at Hotel Kohali. They can
visit Kosha Joseph dot com and click on her Soul
link to get their tickets. We have VIP options, regular options,
We have payment plans available, so we have something for everyone.

(30:53):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7 (30:54):
I'm so super excited about this, but mostly probably I
got one final question for you. Just looking towards the future,
you know, ordered the plans to take on more cities
and just expand these offerings of persul.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
It definitely is a goal of mine to bring it
to other cities, and always each time I'm doing it
bigger and better. I want to impact more women because again,
because this is a scary thing, sometimes women are just
afraid and I always commend it, just like I did
with my event in April. I commended those women for

(31:28):
being brave enough to get in the room. And I
notice that as other women see that it's okay, we'll
have more women to follow and want to get on
this journey. And that's what I want. My goal for
this is to be able to set women free. Oh
my gosh, I love that.

Speaker 7 (31:45):
I love it setting women free. I love this again, Kach,
have plugging one more time. Social media pays, so we
can make sure to attend, follow support and also if
you have a personal page, we'll love to follow you
as well.

Speaker 2 (31:57):

Speaker 2 (32:25):

Speaker 7 (32:28):
So go ahead and plug in. If you have any
special sports team.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
Well, I'm in Houston, so I do love the Houston Rockets,
but my New Orleans Saints. I'm a Louisiana girl, so
oh it just.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
Made my heart drop.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
You know they're here in Atlanta, but you know my
husband is a Falcons fan. So we're a house divided.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
We'll take you where we can take it.

Speaker 6 (32:53):
Okay, exactly, sports levelies, We're all in this together, learning,
growing and getting ready for the next adventure that lies ahead.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
I had to learn to never regret.

Speaker 7 (33:15):
Knowing so and in my life because good people can
bring happiness.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Bad people can give the experience, while the worst people
can be valuable lessons and the best people could this.

Speaker 6 (33:27):
Remember, dreams don't come true until.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
You do what you wake up and do the work.

Speaker 5 (33:31):
That game will never be the same.
