Pedro Armador and of course Sava, the Five Strikes were
just unable to break through. Now, Brack Gunsen made key saves, but.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Listen, guys, listen. Spirits Celevelies bounce back in the A
oh guy Now. After a top eighty one to seventy
six lost to the Indiana Fever on Thursday night in
front of a sold out crowd at the ord winning
State From Arena, the Atlanta Dream is funded with resilience
and a fire.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
On Saturday, now back by a pat.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Gateway Center Arena, the Dream took down the Dallas Wings
eighty three to seventy five, behind Alicia Gray's career high
tying twenty seven points and beriond gotting fourth straight double double.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Now after the game, this is what coach Mesco had
to say about the win.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
A good game.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
I thought we, uh, you know, played really well for
the most part. I give Dallas a lot of credit.
They're really well coached, and they kept coming. They heard
us on the boards and then transition in that fourth quarter. Fortunately,
we had some big baskets down the stretch, you know,
especially Alicia Nia hit some big ones to really kind

(09:54):
of keep a little bit of a lead, and we
were able to.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Finish it off, not only mark Atlanta's second win of
the season, but also prove this team has the grit
to bounce back and the fan base to roar and
ride with them moving forward. Now, listen, guys, the Dream
are back in action tomorrow Sunday afternoon with another sold
out showdown.

Make sure you're in the building to root for our
atl dream.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Yes, we're doing it for the Atlanta Dream.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
In my WNBA news, the WNBA lunches investigation into alleged
abuse towards Injuries. Now, the WNBA is investigating reports of
hateful abuse directed at Chicago Sky Ricky injuries doing last
Saturday scheme against the Indiana Fever, and a statement shared
via Associated Press, the league said, the WAA strongly condemned

(10:50):
to racism, hate and discrimination all forms they have no
place in our league or in society. We are aware
of the allegations and are looking into this matter now.
Reese is one of the leak's most high profile rookies,
and she has been a target of both admiration and
controversy to say the least. Now, the league's swift response
signals this commitment to just protecting players and maintaining a

(11:14):
respectful environment. Faull and of course we will be following
up on this story just to see what exactly and
how the w investigated report ended. Okay, now, also speaking
of the fever, let's go on ahead and talk about
what I told you earlier about you know, some coins
points points being made around the WNBA billion dollars. Now,

(11:37):
according to finance educator Ryan Brewer, Caitlin Clark didn't just
razzle dazzle on the court last season. She carried the
WNBA's economic engine, contributing an estimated twenty six point five
percent of its success. Now, with WNBA and All Star
working honors, an All Star nod, and the Leak's assists

(11:58):
crowned under her belt, Clark's rookie year was more than
just historic.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
It was lucrative. Now.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Guess what though, Brewer is estimating that with a longer
season and study growth, the w could generate up to
eight hundred and seventy five million in twenty twenty five.
And you heard that right, eight hundred and seventy five million.
But thanks to Clark's soaring star power, that number just

(12:26):
my cross into some are charted territories.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
It is said she could easily push the Leaks past
the billion dollar mark, and brew were told this to
NBC News. In short, Clark isn't just raising bar she
just might be catching it in I'm not mad at
And can anyone say coins coins coins, Yes?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
And that is my WNBA news for the week.

or in Bunny at Sol's case, through the absolute most now.
In a now viral clip shared on her Instagram page,
Bunny brought the heat and a little cheek to Bridgestone

(15:17):
Arena by flashing her husband's country star and proud Nashville Predators.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Fan Jelly Roll through my glass.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yes you heard that right, she did that now with
Willary Walker's junior drop him out blaring in the background,
Bunny lifted her jersey and gave her man a show
that left him cracking up and clearly feeling like he
scored the game winner. Now here's what the credits had
to say. Of course they had so much to say,
but you know what Bunny shot back with. She just

(15:46):
only had two words for them, and that was proud husband. Now, listen, guys,
I can't hate. We don't know if this happened dar
the pre match. Was it a pre match prank or
a playoff worthy performance? Thing is clear when Bunny says
she supports her man, she means it cups not included.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Call us today that Sporeal Board sixty.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Seven to one nine one seven two Personal Injury Traller
your little money, Scott, We're serious about writing for you.
That's Sporeal for six nine one seventeen. My next guest
are founders of melani Money, with the mission to help
one hundred thousand people of color achieve their first million

(17:28):
in networth, aiming to close the wealth gap by one
hundred billion. Sports Lovelies, please welcome George IQM Punk and cardcle.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Bil two just in the sport Welcome.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Welcome George and Carter Tisips and Sports.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
The Melanin Money has set an ambitious goal of helping
one hundred thousand people of color to reach the first
million in network, potentially closing the racial wealth gap by
one hundred billion dollars. Now, I love to hear about
what it's this specific mission and how you're measuring impact

(18:05):
so far.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
And also, either one, please share some success stories that
demonstrate the tangible results you're seeing.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
Sure sure so.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
I remember back in twenty nineteen a a report was
published that black wealth was slated to go to zero.
I think by twenty fifty two.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
I think it was the year. At the time.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
I was a couple of years out of recovering from
a spinal surgery, and I was thinking of, you know,
just ways that I could have more impact because I
have a first hand experience of like, you know, life
is fragile and you don't know what that looks like.
And so that started out with creating content, creating a
merchandise brand to spread the word actually wearing right now,
shout out to shop do melon money dot com, to

(18:49):
spread awareness around these conversations that need to happen around
being and wealth.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
And so then that report came out and I had.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
An initial goal of helping I think it was one
hundred thousand people invest a thousand. That was something like that,
just a very tangible goal, and then we started to
get close to hit and I was like, oh, this
goal is not big enough. And then shortly thereafter, I
think that same year twenty nineteen, me and Carter met
at a conference and it was a conference for financial
advisor financial professionals, and that our industry at the time

(19:19):
it probably still is, is largely skewed to a different demographic,
I'll say, And so we stuck out like sore thumbs
at the event and said, hey, we look kind of cool.
We don't dress as good as me, but you look
you look at you look pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (19:32):
So maybe we should exchange contact in phones, stay connected.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
And so we got connected and just was up where
I was ideas sharing with our respective businesses for a
couple of years. That went really, really well, and then
I invited him to say, hey, look, I think we
can really expand this movement together. I mean, you're you're
a certified public accountant, I'm a wealth manager. You have
people say money on taxes. I helped them invest their money.

Speaker 6 (19:55):
Why not do it together?

Speaker 7 (19:56):
Right?

Speaker 4 (19:57):
And so from there, after collaborating for two years doing
the podcast for a couple of years, we decided to
join forces formally and bring our financial services company together.
So that's the first part of your question, at least
as far as tangible results and how we track it.
So every year we actually have we'll talk more about it.
I'm sure at some point in this interview. We have

(20:18):
an award show to celebrate our clients milestones and wealth building,
and so with that, you know, whether they have one
hundred thousand dollars net worth or a ten million dollar
net worth, we are celebrating that achievement. And so that
allows us to track it because the only way that
you can be celebrated is if you formally submit your information,
and we have a dashboard that allows us to literally

(20:39):
see your accounts, right, so there's not anything anybody can
finesse or finagle. And as a result, we've been able
to track that really well. Last year, the first five months,
first five months of the year, our clients improve their
collective net worth by over one hundred million dollars five
months of the year.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
This year on pace for that to be north.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Of an additional two hundred million and collective net worth,
and so that how we're tracking it. And as far
as like some of the success stories, I mean, people
just yesterday were telling us about buying multi family properties,
one for themselves and.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
Then their sun bought one.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
People you know, buying businesses, and so there's I could
probably go on for more time than we have in
this interview, but I think it's reflective in the networth
number that people are achieving some amazing things and we're
just grateful to be lighthouses in the process.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Now listen, guys, a little birdie told me the melanin
Money Wealth Weekend is coming to the A Is that correct.

Speaker 9 (21:35):
Yes, Yes, for the third year now in Atlanta, Georgia.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
We understand that most of our demographic is in Atlanta
and we want to make it easy for them to
come out and be celebrated. So it will be in Atlanta,
Georgia July eighteenth and nineteenth, and it is a jam
packed weekend. We have a phenomenal speakers for our education day,
including Piky Cole who's the owner of Study Vegan the

(22:05):
value to over one hundred million dollars, Morgan Debond, owner
of Blavity, another phenomenal CEO.

Speaker 9 (22:12):
This is just to name a few of the speakers
that we're gonna have.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
Terrence j is going to be hosting our award show
that the next day, where not only are we celebrating
our clients for hitting the networth milestones, but we're also
celebrating other financial experts and influencers in the space for
all the hard work that they do on helping our people,
our demographic learn to invest, whether it's stocks, real estate, businesses.

(22:37):
And it's going to be an amazing event for wealth
building and celebration of wealth.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Now listen, that is amazing, but most importantly I just
wanted to ask you, how has the event evolved since
its inception to just meet the sophisticated needs of tight
earning professionals of color.

Speaker 7 (22:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Yeah, So the first year it actually was just the
award show. So we knew that there is something we
wanted to do.

Speaker 6 (23:03):
That's a Carterman. We gotta I know, we had a lot.
We did a lot this year, We did a sneaker ball,
we did joint Mastermind events. I was like, but we
gotta do it this year.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Something's telling me it has to happen this year. And
so the first year it was and I say just
an award show lightly because it was. It was an
amazing event, right, But that that was the first year.
Then the second year we said, okay, the award show
is great, it's amazing. We'll continue to evolve into the
Grammys for Wealth Builders, but how do we make it
more robust, right? And that's when we added in the
educational component because we said we can't call it Wealth

(23:33):
Weekend and not teach people components of wealth.

Speaker 7 (23:36):
Right.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
So so we evolved it and then just brought in
the right speakers in order to do so. And then
this year what we're super excited about is we actually
have a wealth workshop on day two where people will
literally leave with their financial freedom framework. So imagine coming
to an event and it's not just celebrities on stage
giving you these esoteric, unattainable things that aren't realistic for
the everyday person. You get to come and put together

(23:57):
your financial freedom framework. So then when you leave the
you know the next steps you need to do to
start building more wealth in twenty twenty five. Right, So
that's how it's evolved, is we make we made it
very tactical, provide a lot of resources out of the
educational component, and just really allow people to connect the
network with high level people.

Speaker 6 (24:18):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Oh my gosh, this is so exciting. But you know what,
I definitely wanted to just talk a little bit about
just media strategy and representation. Of course, you guys are
financial educators with growing platforms. You're changing the narrative around
black wealth. How do you approach media representation and your
messaging strategy to just ensure you're not just teaching financial

(24:40):
literary literacy, but also shifting broadle cultural perceptions about wealth
in communities of colors. Now, of course, you know sometimes
people think it's just let me marry a Nigerian and
I get my wealth that way.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
But come on, now, let's talk about building your own wealth.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
Well, it starts with the mindset shift, right. I'm a
firm believer that you cannot be what you cannot see.
So I think it starts with me and George leading
the way, and our clients and our community leading the
way and showing people that as possible, right because once
they see that they can attain it, then they start
to then they can listen. But but you know, words fault,

(25:21):
words fall on deaf ears if people are aware that
this is possible for them. So I think it starts
with the mindset, and then it's giving them the tactical
strategies and making it easy to understand. I think the
one thing that the financial profession has done, whether intentionally
or unintentionally, is they build up jargon to confuse people
around investing and taxing boat building, and that's unnecessary jargon, right. Like,

(25:45):
at the end of the day, there's a few key
tactical steps that anybody can start to building wealth. And
we teach those tactical steps and then we give people
an easy framework to follow so that they can get
quick wins fast, and then once people understand that if
I make these small changes, whether it's investing a certain
amount of day or saving or paying myself first, once
I start doing these small things, it start to give results.

(26:07):
Then it's just a snowball in the right direction of
both buildings. So for me, I think it starts with
one showing b that people that's possible, then giving them
concepts that they can easily understand, and then getting them
started so they can start having small wins and those
small wins turn the big ones.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Now, George and Carter, listen, I'm all for building wealth,
and it sounds like you guys have very much self
informed our community.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
There's nothing wrong with.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Marrying and Nigerian prince, right, It's okay our prince are
fits stets, but definitely starting wealth on our own. And
I'm just curious about just your perspective on just the
current landscape. What investment opportunities do you see as particular
promising for just the community in the next twelve to
eighteen months, Like what potential pitfalls should our listeners be

(26:55):
weary of in just today's economy.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
Yes, that's a great question, and I hope that I
don't bore your audience with some just fundamental facts. But
even though I'm an investment advisor and you know what,
we've gotten our clients some really great returns in their
portfolios over the past years.

Speaker 6 (27:10):
One of the first things that we advocate for is
a skill set acquisition.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
And what I mean by that is one of the
most recession proof things you can have is becoming a
person of value to the marketplace, so that regardless of
what's happening with AI or whatever, whatever's happening, you are
so valuable to the marketplace that your income isn't disrupted
because your income is the greatest lever you have to
building more wealth. Right Like, even let me put it
in simple terms. If you can only invest one hundred

(27:35):
dollars right a month, and that's twelve hundred dollars the
I'm not saying that I'm not despising small beginnings. But
let's say you get one hundred percent return on your investment,
which is unheard of, right the S and P five
hundred They tell you to expect between seven and ten percent.
But let's just say you're better than warm Buffett and
you get one hundred percent, right, that's gonna turn into
twenty four hundred dollars.

Speaker 6 (27:54):
Now, great, that's that's better than nothing.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
But the reality is what I need to figure out
is why can I I only afford to invest one
hundred dollars? And the answer probably is I need to
become a more valuable person to the marketplace. So that
is at the top of mind with our clients is like, hey,
how can you acquire skills that will allow you to
get more income? Because with the more income that you have,
the more you can deploy it to practical things. You
don't have to swing for the fences, right when you

(28:19):
have enough resources to be able to make these base hits. Right,
many times people are looking for astronomical returns for what
for the reasons I just said, well, I can only
invest x, So because of that, it has to do
so much more. I have such a big expectation of
what it's going to do versus if I have enough
extra cash flow to invest in an SMP five hundred
funt or whatever the case may be, I don't need

(28:39):
it to do fifty percent in a year, right, I
just need to make base hits consistently over an extended
period of time. So to round out this answer, you know,
what we typically advise our clients to do is a
very simple but straightforward strategy. Of course number one, acquire
more skills and get paid more money, simply right.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Just to be simple.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
From there, the easiest way to make more money is
to pay less taxes. So take advantage of the tax
strategy the car is gonna teach you so that you
can get more money back, so that even though you're
optimizing for making more money, you're keeping even more of it.
Because nothing's worse than making a lot of money. And
given a lot of way, that's like, that's I think
that's worse than making it a little bit of money, right.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
So then you're keeping more of it. Then what do
you do?

Speaker 4 (29:19):
Okay, I have this money, doesn't make sense to put
in my bank account because of this crazy thing called
inflation and purchasing power. So then I'm going to invest
it into a brokerage account, which is an investment account
for general use, and I'm gonna buy some quality investments
that I expect to do pretty decent over over the
long term. And then the one cheat code that I
will say that we do a little bit different is
we say, hey, look, why not as that money is

(29:39):
growing and thriving, borrow against the value of that portfolio
to then go buy more assets. Now for the second time,
I can't go into too much detail with that. These
are some of the strategies that we will cover at
Wealth Weekend and what we do for our community on
a weekly basis.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
But that is what we're ad busing our clients right and.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
Pay less money and taxes through tax strategy, invest the
difference into the stock market and then borrow against that
portfolio to buy other cash flow producing assets like real
estate and businesses that you can own.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
But do not run. Does that make sense?

Speaker 2 (30:09):
Yeah, it does, it does.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
But you know what, can I ask you a bonus
question because I know in today's economy it's scary. You know,
people are seeing for one ks drop through. We're seeing
the stock market go down as well. Is this the
time to invest? Is this a great time for us
to invest?

Speaker 4 (30:25):
Well, I'm happy to report that as of last week,
the stock market recovered one hundred percent of its losses
that it incurred this year. So the short answer is yes, right,
Like the volatility i e. Fluctuations and the stock market
is the price you pay for good investment returns. If
you don't want volatility, you can stick your money into
bank account. But guess what you'll look in a year

(30:45):
from now, and that same thousand dollars will be there, right,
But guess what another year from now, what you can
purchase with that thousand dollars will continue to dwindle. So
if you don't want volatility, you can't stomach log into
your account one day and to be in a little
lesson it was the day before, a little lesson it
was the day before. If you can stomach that, then sure,
then you can put your money into bank account.

Speaker 6 (31:03):
But understand what that means.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
Everything has a risk, right When you don't invest, the
risk is I'm losing my purchasing power and it's going
to cost more money to buy things in the future,
and I have less ability to keep up with that
because I didn't invest. When I invest in the stock market,
I have the risk of having highs, lows, ups and
downs in my portfolio. But the stock market has one
hundred percent recovery rate since inception, right, So if I

(31:24):
can just be disciplined, continue to invest in the stock
market and not get freaked out by headlines, then statistically
I would do Okay, wow, oh my.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Gosh, that's so relieving. You know again, this is a
crazy time.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
And definitely I would love my listeners to just learn
more about investing in their wealth. Now, I want to
ask you, guys, looking beyond you know, wealth weekend twenty
twenty fives, going down, what's your vision for just the
future for the next five years.

Speaker 6 (31:57):
Okay, I want to try to bounce it back to Carter,
but this is probably.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
So.

Speaker 6 (32:03):
I mean to be honest with you. Our vision for
the next five years is to do a lot more
of what we're already do. I'll break it up in phases.
Number one is we want to.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Super serve the people who have already tapped into our
ecosystem and be able to get them to their first
one mallion network.

Speaker 9 (32:16):
Right.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
One thing that we believe in is like, you got
to take care of home first, and there's a lot
of people that have tapped.

Speaker 6 (32:21):
Into the Melon of Money ecosystem.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
We have existing clients and people listen to our podcasts,
and we want to nurture I think is what I'm
looking for our existing audience. We want to serve them
for years to come. We're an advisory firm in our core, Right,
we create content, we have a podcast, but we actually
do this work in real life for our clients. So
that's number one is how do we continue to get
our clients exceptional results for years to come?

Speaker 3 (32:39):
Right?

Speaker 4 (32:39):
As we continue to do that, we want to deepen
the value of the relationship. Right, So what does that mean,
Like as we as we see the needs that our
clients have, Like we have a lot of entrepreneur clients
like man, like I really need a great bookkeeper, right,
so we just acquired a stake in the bookkeeping companies,
so our clients have to go anywhere else. Right, My
clients are like, man, you guys have recommended these great
investment strategy, Can you guys manage it for me?

Speaker 6 (33:01):
Sure? Right, will turn the falset back on to open
up asset management in house.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
Right, So things like that, and just deepening the relationship
of our clients so that they don't have to go
many other places to get their financial needs met. Outside
of that, continue and to expand our media footprint because
no matter how big our firm grows, we won't be
able to serve everybody one on one. So continue to
create more high quality content that the world can consume

(33:27):
for absolutely free, so that we can make good on
our mission, because we do believe that we won't necessarily
have one hundred thousand clients come through our doors. What
we do believe is that the tens of thousands of
clients that come through our doors, they will have the
knowledge and information to be able to impact their family.
That will create a ripple effect, and then we can
spread our wings into the broader industry and say, hey, look,

(33:48):
our firm is at capacity, Like do you want us
to show you how we're able to disrupt the financial
service industry and give you the sauce so that you
can serve your clients as well. We're not ego led,
so we don't care if the one hundred thousand people
come through the doors of melon and money. We just
care that the mission happens, and so if that means
impacting the industry and then impacting our clients, so then
they can then go out and be stewards of that
information and then have a trickle down effect on their family.

Speaker 6 (34:10):
That's what's important.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
So that's pretty much what we're focused on, adding more
value to our clients, offering more services that they need,
and having a broader impact on the financial services industry
so that we don't have to be the only two
guys who are helping people achieve this mission.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Absolutely, absolutely, and my final question will go to Cardi
and you too as well. George, just talk a little
bit about just your personal relationship with wealth and just
how it has evolved, just through your teachings and just
some of that I guess unexpected lessons that you learned
both of you either one.

Speaker 9 (34:44):
Yeah, So me and George both came from a huble beginnings.
I came from the South side of Chicago, not the
shy yes, the shop.

Speaker 5 (34:52):
There was none of us in the three bedroom home,
and I thought like everybody lived like that, Like I
didn't have my first room with the doors.

Speaker 9 (34:57):
I went to college and I was like, oh, this nice.
But anyway, So with that being said, I didn't understand money.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
I understood that we didn't have it, but I also
understood that it was out there right because I saw
people in nice houses and nice cars, and so that
sparked my curiosity about I need to learn about.

Speaker 9 (35:16):
What this thing is.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
So, you know, with the College for Accounting and Finance,
because I want to understand money. And what I what
I found is that a lot of the generational curses
that were passed down from our parents and our parents
parents doesn't have to be our story, right because you know,
our grandfather the great grandfathers were once sold for money.

Speaker 9 (35:40):
So as people, we look.

Speaker 5 (35:41):
At ourselves as being less valuable than money because we
were exchanged for money. And although that was true in
the past, it doesn't have to be true in the present, right.
So for me, it was really uncovering some of those
generational curses and staying saying to myself in the mirror
that generational curses may have ran in my family until
they ran into me, right, and that I am going

(36:05):
to be that curse breaker for my family because one
of my favorite quotes is that you may not have
come from a wealthy family, but let's make sure that
a wealthy family.

Speaker 9 (36:14):
Come from you.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Okay, Yes, we adopted that narrative, and that's why we
moved the when we moved today.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
I love that so powerful, George.

Speaker 6 (36:25):
You answer as well. Sure, So for me, I realized that.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
Time freedom actually comes before financial freedom. And I think
people look at wealth and through a narrow spectrum, and
I think the way that I started to look at
wealth is the more that I can buy my time back,
the more mental capacity and clarity I have to build
more financial wealth. Whereas a lot of people think that
they're waiting, They're like, Okay, if I can just stack

(36:52):
up this money, stack of this money, one day, I'll
be free.

Speaker 6 (36:54):
Right. Next thing, you know, you look up your sixty
five and you're still not free.

Speaker 7 (36:57):
Right.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
So what I've what I tell people is value your
time as much as more than you value your money.
Because time is the only resource that you spend without
knowing how much of it you have left. So in
what ways can you buy back time?

Speaker 9 (37:08):
Like?

Speaker 4 (37:09):
It might look incrementally depend upon where you are. It
might not look like having a house manager and a
full time clean and a full time chef from day one,
but it might it might look like, Okay, I do
have some some parental support at times so I can
work on my business, or I do have somebody coming
by to cleaning the house at least twice a month. Right,
So it's like, what things can I do that will
give in my time?

Speaker 2 (37:27):
Right?

Speaker 6 (37:27):
And then when I get that time back, what am
I doing with that currency?

Speaker 7 (37:31):
Right?

Speaker 4 (37:31):
So I think that's a miss. That's that's a very
misunderstood principle. I feel like in the wealth building journey
is people think that you need to wait until you
have a lot of money before you can be free.

Speaker 6 (37:42):
But it's the other way around.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
The Other thing that I think is very important is
wealth is made through concentration, it's preserved through diversification. There's
this this ideology has been going around for years around
seven streams that income, and you know, like that's the
way to get rich, that's the way to get distracted. Right,
What you need to do is you need to become
world class at something. Right, that's the guys where the

(38:04):
concentrated part of the quote comes from. And then once
you do that, it's going to give you the opportunity
to find new ways to make money within that same
vertical Right, Like what I talked about, it's like, hey,
we already are focused on helping our clients build wealth.

Speaker 6 (38:16):
So they need bookkeeping, they need in house asset management.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
Like, yes, those are different revenue streams, but they're a
byproduct of our main revenue stream. Sometimes you have to
give up a revenue stream to create a waterfall, and
people are spreading themselves too thin again, which is a
byproduct of time because they're not focused and they're not concentrating,
and they're thinking they need to diversify. But wealth is
made through concentration first, then it's preserved through diversification and

(38:39):
buying other assets.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Wow, oh my gosh, this is so amazing, guys, Oh
my goodness. Thank you so much for coming on. And
you know what, I need you to go ahead and

NBA playoffs are pimeus. Is there anything you guys would
like to tell me or would like to share the Florida.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
Well, we just we just got back from New York
and stumbled into the Knicks winning nix and six, and
that was I was saying, an experience experience to remember.
So you know, I'm not a Knicks fan. Like that
energy that was in that building. I was like, well, shoot,
I'm rooming for the Knicks now, I'm got a dog
in a fight right now.

Speaker 6 (39:52):
So Nick, so Nicks, do your thing. But that was
an amazing experience.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
So yeah, I'm just excited to see great playoff basketball
and so we'll see where it lands.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
Absolutely yeah, I'm team and man, so I would love
to I would love I would love to watch Anthony
Edwards go against Jaylen Bronson in the finals. I think
that'd be that would be a clash at the Titans.
So but if it's up to me, Anthony Edwards with
the championship and finals MVP.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Oh you've heard it here, Okay, rolling with you guys,
Thank you again, it's been amazing. You definitely have to

there is another way you can invest your money, the
right way.

Speaker 6 (40:49):
Absolutely, thanks for having us on. It was absolute pleasure.

Speaker 2 (40:52):

Speaker 6 (41:06):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (41:09):
Oh my goodness, So who is your teeth? What is
your teeth?

Speaker 6 (41:13):
I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
Always ha No, okay, I have a listen. Me and
my husband are at Aliens. We are from natives of Atlanta,
and he is a Pittsburgh fan.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
As good man good man, but it's a good man,
as they say, that's a good Man's event.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
It's all right. I'll take the Steelers and I'll take
the Cowboys. No one said the Falcons, but it's all good.
I love you guys anyway, Okay.

Speaker 6 (41:43):
Love is love.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Sports lovely.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
It's twenty twenty five. Newness continues to be all around.
I have always said I am the poet of Elves
taken L's leah and right, I swear if there was
any such person, I am she and she is not.
But listen, in all fairness, I can say the same

(42:21):
about winning.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
Right.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
I've had some major wins throughout my life, which has
always been my motivation to keep pushing for it. So
if you ever find yourself feeling like me, remember an
L it's just an honiss shape w and it's all
about your mindset, okay. But most importantly, sometimes you have
to just lose to win in the game of life. Remember,

(42:46):
dreams don't come true until you do what you wake
up and do the work that you will never be
the same.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
