let's get connected. No, sports Lovelace, Sports Lovelace, I know
what you gave me to do, and that is to
do what talk sports. Yes, and listen, sports lovelies, while
we're talking big stages, Cobb County is stepping into the

(02:44):
national spotlight. The twenty twenty five MLB All Star Game
is coming to Tourist Park, presented by MasterCard. Yes, sports, lovelies, concerts,
free game parties, all that vibe, and of course the
biggest stars in baseball are going head to head. Got

(03:07):
your plans. Get ready for unforgettable celebration in the heart
of GA. Yes, we outside this weekend' spirts levelies ATL
Let's go now. You know what? Now from concerts to cleats,
can we talk about the NFL? Yeah, NFL fans Falcons
fans in particular, it's time to get locked in because

(03:29):
you know what, I gotta tell you the latest off
season bus surrounding the Dirty Birds versus Kirk Cousins. Now, listen,
let's dive into it. Falcons fans. I just I'm just
taking aback, I'm just taking a back. But yes, let's
just go ahead and dive into it about the Falcons

(03:52):
quarterback Saka and you know look, it's playing out in
real time in a Netflix new quarterback does k Cousin
says he felt a little bit mislead after signing a
four year, one hundred and eighty million dollar deal in
March twenty twenty four, only to see the Falcons draft
Michael Pennetch junior at number eight overall just weeks later.

(04:15):
And you heard me, right, sports lovelies, I did say
one hundred and eighty million deal back in March twenty
twenty four. Now Cousins, of course, has admitted he would
have stayed in Minnesota if he had known about the pick.
He also stayed injured longer than he should have, partly
to protect his starting job, but ultimately lost his role

(04:37):
mid season two. Pennance now love Cousin, thirty six years old,
two time pro bowler, he set to earn twenty seven
point five million dollars and twenty twenty five asked the
backup while Bennett's still fresh off a stellar college career,
it's poised to lead. It's a high States quarterback shuffle

(04:59):
that's stirring real drama in the ag. Yeah, but let's let's,
you know, take a step back just for a brief second. Right,
Let's just play Devil's advocate for just a second, shall we.
So let's talk a little bit about Kirk. Kirk tucked
it out through the injury to just keep Pennance on
the side. But let's be real, his performance took the hit,

(05:21):
right we all know, and by week sixteen, the torch
officially was passed. Now that's when Pennants made his debut
and narratives shifted. Now, lit's sten here. We need to
follow the money trough now to stop can Despite the depth,
Atlanta kept him around for good reasons. With one hundred
million guaranteed and twenty seven point five million still on books,

(05:45):
Benjingham was a financial reality check. So now heading it
to twenty twenty five, he's poised to play the most
expensive backup role in the league. But here's the match chapter.
Here's where it all's coming together. All signs dis pointing
to two pennies being the new face of the franchise.
It's not just a quarterback switch. It's a generational handoff

(06:07):
and one of the most intriguing transition in recent NFL memory.
So now we've got that one hundred million dollar clipboard,
a rocket Armbrookie, and a city asking what's next? Can
we kill the music? Roll the tape? Michael Penni Junior
is ready to take the lead and the Falcons fans
our front row for the sequel. But the story doesn't

(06:31):
stop there. It doesn't stop there. Now we still got
training camp. Training camp is gonna be just around the
corner for our atl Falcons and listen fans. You have
plenty of chances to see the team up close and personal.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Now.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
The Falcons will host eleven open training camp practices this
preseason at IBM Performance Fields starting July twenty fourth. A
limited number of free tickets will be available for each session,
so be sure to grab yours early. Now Here are
some highlights. July twenty sixth is part of the NFL
Back Together Weekend fam School. Here directly from the head

(07:06):
coach rightheen. Of course, the GM and so enjoy some
appearances from Freddy Falcon, Falcons cheerleader, and of course former
players will be on site. So much so it's gonna
be a five now. August twelfth and thirteenth, the Falcons
will hold joint over practices with Tennessee Titans ahead of
their preseason matchup on August fifteenth at the Ben Stadium.

(07:31):
It's your chance to watch two NFL teams go ahead
to head in camp drills. Now, this upcoming season is
going to be all about the rival of Michael Pennich Junior. Listen,
the rookie quarterback has had time to Bill Cheming Street
with Drick London, you know, Mooney, Kyle Picks and the
rest of the offense. But with his life on, aggressive
play style and mobility in the pocket, the sky truly

(07:53):
is the limit for a second year lefty out of Washington. Falcons, fans,
stand up, buffalos, firts, loveliest, the future, it's here. Let's
go rise up now. Let's guys, let's do this for
a second, shifting gears. Let's shift gears from the grid
iron to the bitch. In Atlanta United News, and we're

(08:13):
going to start today with the message of strength and
to report now Atlanta United President and CEO goth Logger
Way is taking an indefinite leave of abstinent after being
diagnosed with cancer. The news hit the club and the
city hard, but true to form, Garth is facing it
head on. Treatment is already underway and the outlook remains

(08:36):
very optimistic. In his own works, Garth said, it's not
about the setback, it's about the response. I shall return
and we believe we believe that Garth, we are sitting
you love, light and shurned from across Atlanta United family
and beyond here to at Chicks in the Sports, wishing
you nothing but a speedy recovery and coming back healthier

(08:56):
than before. Now, speaking of lead ship and legacy, Lai
and United is definitely leveling up the club just unveil
updated plans for the Emery Healthcare Studio, a first of
its kind content facility in Major League Soft, are currently
under construction at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Training Route

(09:17):
in Marietta. Part of the twenty three million dollar expansion.
The studio is set to open later this summer and
will include two digital production studios, a podcast room, a
ES sports or EAT sports space, and fully integrated control
room that means more cinematic content, life shows and exclusive

(09:39):
access to everything Atlanta United with a Emmy Healthcare holding
naming rights. The project also connects storytelling, community and wellness
in powerful new ways. Now to the pitch, to the
pitch sports leta July fid Alani United twin zero and
zero Yes, O and l draw on the road against

(10:03):
DC United, earning their second clean sheet of the season.
The defense held strong limiting DC to just one shot
on target all much long. Meanwhile, in roster news, winger
Edwin Muscara has been long two million narrows FC in
Columbia First Divisions through June thirty of twenty twenty six,

(10:25):
with an option for a permanent transfer. Mosquarro made fifty
six MLS appearances with five goals, including this year's game
winner against Montreal, and he's wrapping ato well on the
international stage now. Of course, next up our Atlanta United
had two Toronto. It's going down tonight to take on

(10:47):
Toronto FC. Kickoff is at seven thirty. Let's see if
the squad can chef off that draw and get back
in the wind column. Because with everything in this club
has been through, a strong showing tonight will mean more
than just three points. And before we wrap up, we
want to send one more powerful message to Garth. Garth, listen,

(11:08):
your strength, optimism and leadership continue to aspire, not just
Helana United, but the entire sports community and those who
are currently going through similar situation. But we do believe
in your fight, We support your journey, and we know
you will return stronger than ever. This city is behind you.
Let's go five stripes. Let's go okay, sports Loveliest, come

(11:31):
with me as we had to the ice to chalk
about the Atlanta Gladiators see yes, sports Loveliest. They're gearing
up for the twenty twenty five ECHL season now. First off,
the team recently ecided qualifying offers to three key returners
Jackson Pearson, Derek Tavetich and Drew Dread as they look
to lock down four pieces ahead of the July twenty

(11:52):
second deadline. Now, the Glaviators also made a trade this week,
acquiring defenceman Brendan Let's from Ad to run in a
stage from Eastern Armstrong and Nick wong Less. Brings a
strong two way game and over one hundred and twenty
games of ECCHL experience. In terms of the schedule, heads

(12:13):
up two games originally set for December fifth and since
have now been moved to February twenty seventh and March
twenty first, both with seven pm puck drops, and it's
previously announced by Matt Jin, a former Gladiator himself, was
promoted to head coach and director of hockey operations earlier

(12:34):
this offseason. He's bringing a leadership experience every winning mentality
to Atlanta. So you know it's sports lovely. It's going
to be a great year. We got some new freight
office pieces to add and look, you gotta stay tuned
because we will keep you posted with the latest Atlanta
Gladiators news. Let's go, glads, let's go now, sports lovelies.

(12:58):
I know you've been waiting. It's that time for the
cacad news. Yes, cackall, Yes, Atlanta Hawks are in Vegas,
not already making a noise at the NBA two K
twenty sixth Summer League, running now through July twentieth. Assistant
coach Brian Bailey is leading the squad, bringing valuable Summer
league coaching experience from his time with Utah Jazz. He's

(13:22):
backed by his strong staffs, featuring coaches from both the
Hawks and the College Park Skyhawks. Now a headline in
the Summer league roster is a sign Newell the Hawks
twenty third overall picked in the twenty twenty five NBA Draft.
The Georgia Bulldog freshman sent Out left the Bulldogs in
scoring and rebounding the last season and tied the school's
record for SEC Freshmen of the Year honors. He's stepping

(13:45):
into the Vegas stage ready to impress. Okay now also
sitting up, it's Niccola, durianch Dwight Murray, Junior, Jacob Toppy
and Kobe Buffin a balancement to rookies and second year
players poised to take the next step now, buff wasted
no time showing out. Let me tell you sports lowliest.
The Hawks open summer League play with a one to

(14:06):
five ninety eight win over the minuming Heat, led by
a dominant performance by Buffkin. On Friday, the second year
guard poured in twenty nine points, including a flawa It's
fifteen for fifteen from the free throw line. He added
three rebounds, three assists, and two blocks, putting his full
skill set on display. Down that stuff. Atlanta Tate Sun

(14:29):
Phoenix Suns on Sunday, July thirteenth at three o'clock. No,
don't get ready for another exciting matchup. And speaking of
can we talk about this speaking of a rising star
college part stand out, Yes, we spoke about you earlier,
but listen, we cannot end this atment without speaking to
you about Nicola, who officially has been called to a

(14:52):
bigger league after grinding all season with the Skyhawks. The
SI SI Servian guard Ford has signed with Atlanta Hawks. Yes,
of course, Nicola. Nicola averaged ten point five points, three
point one rebounds in three point five assists in a
G League, showing study, improvement and professional poise, an MVP

(15:14):
of the Year league next GIN Tournament. His international resume
just keeps growing. Drafted forty third overall, traded to the Hawks,
and now officially NBA bound. That's what development looks like, right.
So listen, guys, from Serbia to College part to State
Farm Arena, we see you, Nicola, we see you. Let's
go Hawks, Let's go And you know what, we got

(15:37):
to talk about something that happened this week and just
speaking on just building something special. Let's shift from the
court in Vegas to the heart of the Ato because
the next generation of Hooper's just got their shine. The
Atlanta Hawks basketball account of me recently wrapped up its
fourth annual Ladies Baller Summer Hoop Best powered by Google.

(15:58):
And let me tell you, this was just a basketball camp.
This was a movement. The Over the course of four
days at set In Middle School, more than one hundred
young girls ages eight to fifteen came together to learn
and grow. Yes, there were dribbling, shooting at five on
five's action. But what made this camp truly special was
its mission to empower these girls on and off court.

(16:21):
Now with Google by their side, the Hawks brought in
stem education, showing the girls how science and sports connect.
I'm talking real world lessons like analyzing shock data, just
like what the pros do. They even had a panel
with women leaders from Google and Hawks. Remind me these
girls they belong in the boardroom and laps and in

(16:42):
front off It's just as much as they belong on court. Okay, yes,
each camper walked away with not only new skills and
Hawks swag, but with a deeper belief in what they're capable.
And you look, that's a real win, right, That is
definitely a real right now. Shout out to the Lanta Hawks,

(17:02):
College Sport Skyhawks and Google for corn into these young queens.
This is what equity in sports look like. Access, opportunity
and a whole lot of inspiration. And if you want
to learn a little bit more about getting involved, check
out Hawks dot com. Wort Slashing Ladyballers. That's the latest
from our Hawks nests. No, keep it locked right here,

(17:25):
We've got our eyes on the hardwood and of course
the future. Oh guy, sports lovelies, don't go anywhere, because
coming up after the race, we got tennis royalty news
making headlines. We're serving up some sizzling sports tea you
don't want to miss. We're not making a stallion sparking
dating rumors for the NBA start and a possible engagement

(17:46):
between a baller and an R and B beauty that
has the Internet in a frenzy. You already know the
tea is hot and the drama is even hotter. So
stay tuned, stay locked in. Will be bad. Oh I'll

(18:08):
go back going on axpecting levelies. Now before the ray,
I told you all we had some tennis news and
the name on everyone's radar right now is Go Go Fall.
The twenty one year old has spin on a roller
coaster this summer, serving up both triumph and tough lessons.
Let's rewind to Roland Gyros, where Coco absolutely dominated. She

(18:28):
took down the number one Ariana Sublanka, becoming the first
American woman to win the French opened six Serena in
twenty fifteen. Her first major went on Clay and Baby.
She earned every point but for red Clay to green grass.
It got real. Coco suffered a shocking first roll loss

(18:49):
at Wimbledon to Diana Strimpskot. Afterwards, she opened up about
the pressure of back to back majors, calling the transition
from clay to grass emotional overwhelming. And yes, Coco had
her eyes on that rare channel slam winning the French
and Wimbledon in the same season. Only a half full
of women have done it, and the last was Serena

(19:12):
a whole decade ago. But still Coco, she is not
backing now. She's already resetting her focus for the hard
court season. And if that French Open performance told us
anything is that she's not just the future of tennis.
She is done now. Okay, now let's get some off
the court sports team because oh my goodness, it's getting

(19:34):
hot this week. It's getting hot now. Megan and no
Stallion had for scrolling and Squinton after dropping a pul
site picture from vacation. She's chilling right, She's looking fabulous
and always. But look, fans were put to notice someone
in the background, a familiar face, not someone possibly play Thompson. Yeah,

(19:57):
splash brother himself? Is it really him? Photoshop baby a
vacation twin. Oh we don't know, but whoever snapped that
pick made sure he was in that frame. The Internet said, bro,
it's going again in one cattion. But listen now, it's
just a vibe.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Or are we just.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Witnessing the soft lunch of a hot girl plus NBA
boost situation? Hmm, no confirmation, but tr Us, we're still watching.
We're still watching you, Megan, now speaking up watching? Did
y'all catch Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones practically breaking the internet? Now?

(20:35):
On Friday, Cleveland Cavalier Star and the R and B's
Queen appear to announce their engagement with Matching is the post.
No caption needed, just a sweet kiss, a stunning ring,
and an aerial shot that looks very much like a
proposal moment. It's giving. Put a ring on it, A
put a ring on it? Yes, beyoncey, we see you.

(20:58):
But if it's true, congratulations to the happy couple. Loving
basketball is thriving, honey, we see you so coming up
after the break, it's my w NBA, so stay tuned.
Sports celevelies will be bad. We welcome back love. I'm back,

(21:27):
sports lovelies. It's time for w nbaes. Okay, okay, Listen
sports lovelies, It's been a roller coaster rite for our
Atlanta Dream this week, and let's start with that beatdown
win over the Golden State Valkyries. Atlanta turned up in
the fourth outscoring them twenty six to thirteen to close
it out with a ninety to eighty one victory. At home,

(21:50):
Alicia Gray was cooking, dropping twenty four points of cleaning
a clutch three point play with under five minutes to go. Now,
Nas Roman came up big off bench with a career
high sixteen points, and Ryan Howard and Brianna Jones capit
balance with a strong all around performance. But just a
few days later in Indy, it was a different story.

(22:12):
The Dreams fell ninety nine to eighty two to the Fever,
but let me tell you, Journey Canada was on file.
She dropped a career high thirty points in just three
quarters with six threes and eight assists. Tough loss, but
a statement for j C now netstop will be for
the Dream head on to New York and then Chicago

(22:33):
on July sixteenth. Now, look, we're writing for our atl Dream.
Let's go, Let's get some wins. Now look, listen, I
guess you know you've heard already. And guess who's heading
to the twenty twenty five w me AN All Star Game.
Alicia Gray and Ryan Howard. Grade's a starter in Howard's

(22:54):
a reserve, and the Dream are wrapping hard in Indie
July nineteenth, So you better be watching as we be
covering our Atlanta Dream in the WNBA All Star Game.
But you know what a few things were happening, you know,
All Star coach swop Rock Summer League, and I'm gonna
tell you a little bit about that because something rare
happened at the WNBA All Star Draft. Captains Caitlin Clark

(23:18):
and the Fijia Collier actually traded coaches. Now, Clark started
with Minnesota as Cheryl Reeve, but traded her mid draft too.
Car you're in at stage four Liberty coach Sandy Brundello
all in front of Life TV. This playful yet bow
move and it's chemistry, dynamics, it's turning heads and could
signal a deeper narrative about relationships in the league. Now,

(23:41):
you know, Unfortunately, I definitely have to talk just kind
of shifting gears to a more serious moment. Now Angel
reads she was targeted in what I would call somewhat
of a racist me. Now, pull up a chair, Spirits Lovelace.
We need to talk. We definitely need to talk about
this because here's the thing. It's bigger than basketball WNBA

(24:02):
star injuries. Who's been callinged on and of course off.
She was started for just a disgusting racist name that
went viral this week. The image showed her photoshop as
a monkey on a fake NBA two K twenty six
WABA addition cover And yeah, you heard that right. Let's

(24:23):
be clear, hate it's never acceptable. I don't care how
you feel about a player's game, that personality, or even
their social media presence. There's no excuse for racism period.
Now RG three, former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analysts,
spoke out against it. He posted on Twitter or the
ass whatever calling it these days and said, whether you

(24:45):
like a player or not, injury should never be called
or depicted as a monkey. And he was right. He
was right. Now listen, listen. We can talk about riberries,
media narratives or even social media drama, but what you
won't do, it's tolerate racism disguised as banter. Asia Reese

(25:05):
deserves better. Every after link deserves better. We've got to
protect our players, and it's league who are constantly under
attack for just being themselves. And you know what's sports celevelies.
That's what I'm gonna end on. We just got to
protect our players. And that is your WNBA news for

(25:26):
the week. So sports Loveliest, sports lovelies for the upcoming
twenty twenty five season. Nice. Sure to check out atl
during podcasts an all streaming platforms. You'll find me the
self forclades where sneaks Do you care? You tell much
Chell me about everything. I i't agree with my dude

(25:47):
my brother from another mother Edwindo Belle. So yes, I
know if you're checking it out now. Look, yes they're
old episodes, but that's okay. You need to catch up
because twenty twenty five it's right around. To make sure
you listen to at L Dreaming podcast streaming on All
Blackcorners coming up after the rates my smah o m

(26:12):
G moments stay tuned will be bad. Oh my god,

(26:34):
oh no she didn't. Oh no she didn't.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Oh oh no, this is her for journey.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Oh a bacalogue and back sports levels my smat your
dream movement is upon as and you know what I
am s m h and right now that is right.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
I'm shaking my head because you all know what. Dwight
Howard cannot catch a break on or off court. Yes, honey,
after just six months of marriage, Dwight's wife Edward Rose Howard,
you might know her as Amy Lucini from Love and
Hip Hop, has officially fouled for divorcing. Here's to kick

(27:15):
her since it's asking for half tight. I set it
half six months and she wants to split the pot down.
I talked about earlier about putting the ring on it.
Now we're talking about taking a ring off a This

(27:38):
sounds like a love story and more like a limited
time engagement with permanent consequences reality lifestyle stuff. I don't know,
but now look to be fair, Amy Lucinie is no
stranger to the Spotlight. She got her own platform, her
own following. But when you're marrying in a form NBA

(28:00):
all started, headlines hit a little different, right, and that's tiny.
Let's just say it's quicker than a trade deadline deal. Look,
I'm not here to judge anyone, especially their love life,
but Dwight, you might want to put a cream up
on the starting lineup next time. So we're talking about

(28:22):
no longer putting the rings on it, but taking the
rings off and getting had just splint it down the
missing And that is my xmh Haunji moment for the week.
Be sure to check out Chicks and the Sports for

(29:17):
Welcome back, sports lovelies. My next guest, Hill's from Detroit
and has carved out a name in the rap game
with raw storytelling, social production and music that truly hits home.
Sports lovelies, please welcome the one that only Ashwin too
Chicks in a Sport. Well, Ashwyn, thank you so much
for joining me. I wanted to start with just talking

(29:39):
about your Instagram page and what it says, well it
says I do it for the kid in Detroit without fashion,
and you're not allowed to make hip hop because of
your background. Now, how did you channel that childhood determination
into your music today?

Speaker 2 (29:56):
In my mind, uh, there are no barriers. Like, yes,
maybe there are gatekeepers, but some people would say someone
my background isn't necessarily they're not allowed to do this,
and that's the conversation. That's a really big conversation. But
I will say this regarding how do I use that

(30:17):
to drive myself? I mean, if you really boil it down,
you know, they're not talking about my talent. That has
nothing to do with my talent, has nothing to do
with me. It is a problem with them, So why
would I let it stop me. I have a song
called Way Up. I mean, I think that song is
all about a celebration of climbing up despite the obstacles,

(30:38):
despite the gatekeepers, despite all these people, and you know,
I call them quite honestly, they're rigging the whole music industry.
I gotta be honest with you, that's what they're doing.
They're rigging at all because you know, they all have
these weird agendas, and believe me, they're pretty bizarre. Like
you know, if the industry had it their way, they
would have me making snake charmer music. It's crazy charm

(31:00):
of music. Like you know, they're like, why aren't you
flying around on your carpet, which you need to represent
your culture. I am representing my culture by by doing
what I feel like doing. That's how I represent That's
how you break the barriers. You know, you don't break
it by becoming a token or a pot right, So

(31:22):
I think that's how you get to see that determination
in my music.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
I love that. I love that. But I know you
kind of mentioned just a little bit about way up.
I just want you to kind of talk a little
bit about your post about the LA scene, you know,
and just the energy out there. Can you just talk
about just the direction or your visuals or sound styling.
What inspired that?

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Well, yeah, this is it's a multi tiered answer, quite honestly.
But because as you may know, as I do have
a lot of sounds in the public right now, I
have the R and B s which I did on
God the EP. So if you like R and B,
got to go listen to God to EP. And you know,
I came up with that whole idea because I was

(32:08):
at a restaurant a few years ago, before I was
even a recording artist, and you know, the waitress he
came up to me like, so you heard me speak like, wow,
you sound like very white. And that gave me the
idea to the showcase the R and B side to
the public. Okay, because you know I'm Barry White himself.
He said this. You know, your voice is a character,
and sometimes you have to You had to create the

(32:29):
music around that character. So I created this R and
B character. So that's one side of what I do.
But what's maybe even more interesting to me is the
cinematic world I'm building. And you know, Way Up was
a foundation of that world I'm building. Because I've made
Way Up back in twenty twenty two. It's been three years.

(32:49):
You know, as I said to you, it's funny. You know,
they didn't want me to release it. They didn't understand
what I was working on, because look, when you do
something new, it scares them. They like people were easy
to control, but I I don't. I'm not someone who's
here to the control. And you know that would be
my message to anyone listening, Like, you know, if you

(33:10):
give up control, you're you're giving up who you are.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Absolutely absolutely and that that definitely is a powerful statement.
And you know, I definitely see that you have quite
a few inspirations. You did mention like the Midwest sound.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it says you said,
Michigan winter gave you that music feel of wintry feel. Right, Okay,

(33:36):
you tell me about that vibe, you know, tell me
about that vibe and the climate, culture, season, influence and
everything that just kind of inspired you.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Yeah, you know, I'm glad you bring that up because
a lot of people, uh, you know, this is what
they would do, they would I said, well, you're from Detroit,
so you're obviously inspired by Detroit sound. Well, I see
myself as a Michigan or first, I see myself as
a proud Midwest And if you listen to my songs
like outside, Uh, which I'm gonna be re releasing. It

(34:05):
was released under my producer name. I used to be
known as ATG Productions. In fact, that's what everyone in
the city calls me, and they call me ag. That's
kind of my well, I don't want to call it
my street name, but that was my street name, Okay.
And I had a song and a lot of people

(34:25):
don't know that I have a song, so that's why
I'm gonna be re releasing it under my current name,
Aspal Gain. It's called Outside, and I think you really
get to hear that Winfrey sounds. So when I made
that track, what I was what I was seeing in
my head was a haunted forest covered with snow, so
I was I wanted to celebrate that, and you know,

(34:49):
make the sonic sound skip reflect that feel. And you
know I did that by taking some inspiration from Nordic music.
I know, pretty unusual, but that's what I do. There's
a whole movement in all those Scandavanian countries, you know.
I think it's a neoclassical movement. That's the best way

(35:10):
to describe that genre. And I obviously Scannavani is a
very cold place, so I found a way to combine
that with hip hop. So that's how I show case
the wintery sound of this great state I'm from.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
I love it, love it, love it. And this is
my final question to you. I just want you to
kind of give me a deep thought looking back. Great
so if you could just speak to your fourteen year
old self and just tell yourself, like, just the journey ahead? Right,
Just what would you tell yourself about the future, you know,
from experimentally different things and also just becoming that self

(35:51):
producing artist. What would you tell yourself?

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Oh yeah, there are so many things I would tone
But number one, first of all, you're right. Don't listen
to the doubters because you were right. That's what I
would tell them first. Like, whatever you you thought was
a good idea, it was a good idea. And whatever
you thought was a bad idea, well it was a
bad idea. Don't listen to it. It's so called experts
because they're not experts. First of all, they may be

(36:20):
experts on what they do, but they're not an expert
in what you do. Only you are an expert in
what you do. And you know that applies to everyone, right,
it's not just me. I mean, we're the experts about
us ourselves. But sometimes what we do is, you know,
we look for external validation and never do that. Never
do that. That's so powerful, you know, that would be

(36:45):
my biggest thing in it. And the number two is
you got to do it. Don't just think about do it.
Even if you mess up. It's by messing what makes
you great. Most people are scared. They're too scared to
mess up.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Right, absolutely right, absolutely right, and that you know that
is so powerful and so inspirational. Most importantly, but I
appreciate you for coming on and chatting with me at
like the last minute. Such a pleasure speaking with you.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Well, you know, I go by asking one game and
keep it easy for everyone. That's where you can find
me Spotify, TikTok, Instagram. It's on TikTok or Instagram. It's
one word, no space, ask on game Spotify.

Speaker 1 (37:43):
Oh soo, Well, thank you so much, as it's been
a pleasure speaking with you.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Well, yeah, it was great being here.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Sports lovely. It's twenty twenty five. Newness continues to be
all around. I have always said I am the Queen
of Elves taken, ls, leck and right. I swear if
there was any such person, I am she and she
is not. But listen, in all fairness, I can say

(38:27):
the same about winning. Right. I've had some major wins
throughout my life. Which has always been my motivation to
keep pushing for it. So if you ever find yourself
feeling like me, remember an l it's just an O
miss shape w and it's all about your mindset, Okay.
But most importantly, sometimes you have to just lose to

(38:49):
win in the game of life. Remember, dreams don't come
true until you do what you wake up and do
the work that you will never be the same. Okay.
