listen after the last home game. Yes, the Atlanta Hawks
headlined y FN Lucci for the halftime performance during the
team's first City Edition home game against the Detroit Pistons.

(02:44):
It happened on Tuesday, November eighteen, I listened to. Night
was also marked by the debut of the Hawks twenty
twenty five twenty six Nike NBA P Street City Edition uniforms. Yes,
I love that the jerseys are spot on, jess.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I love it now listen.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I had a chance to catch up with Lucci and
I asked him about what he would say to his
younger self. Be it that he's from the A, right
native from the A.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
And this is what he had to say. What would
you tell your younger self You're gonna be every time
you said it's gonna be.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Keep going.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Now, sports lovelies. Despite a tough fight, the Hawks fell
to the Pistons one twenty nine to one twelve, and listen.
The Hawks then took on the Spurs on Thursday night
and fell one twenty six to one thirty five. And
of course, last night they defeated the Pelicans one fifteen
to ninety eight in New Orleans. Now, let's talk about Perzingus,
who let the Hawks with twenty nine points. That scored

(03:43):
twenty one points off the bench, including seven three pointers. Now,
Jalen Johnson had eighteen points, se eleven rebounds and nine assists.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Dyce and Daniel Let's catch a fourteen points and eight rebounds.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Now, the Hawks were able to overcome some sluggish, just
a really slow slug start by just outscoring Appell against
sixty seven or forty five in the second and third quarters.
Now their defense first eighteen turnover switch led to twenty
five points. And can we speak on we out here
in the Nolas streets, Yes, Nola's we see in the Orleans. Yes,

(04:18):
the Bird game is representing that A in a big way.
Even Hawks Dice and Dannus spoke on it and just
he said it felt like home after the game last night.
Now listen our ATLP representing a supporting our Hawks and
dirty Birds.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
And can we.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Talk a little bit about speaking of basketball's futures. The
sixth annual Hawks nesting A tip Off Classic.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Did not disappoint this year.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
It was held at Holy inn Asis Episcopal School, and
the one day event brought together twelve of the top
high school programs in the state, giving fans a full
day of elite competition. The gym was packed, the atmosphere
was and the performance look the Poor Reformacist was next level.
So let's do the rundown through the highlights. Okay, now listen.

(05:08):
The girls slate Creekside etched out River Ridge sixty nine
to sixty three, while Holy Innocence protected Home Court with
a seventy two to sixty win over North Paulding. Now
on the boy's side, Milton pulled out a tight one
over Across Creek fifty six to fifty five, Gainesville Dominate
killed seventy six to forty three, and Holy Innocence won

(05:30):
a thriller over Woodword sixty forty sixty three. And the
night closed with mc eachen taken down Tri Cities eighty
seven to sixty seven. But it wasn't just about the games. Okay,
spruces loveliest listen. Hawk's partner Ken Nougen hosted a free
Junior Hawk's clinic for one hundred Yon Cooper's teaching fundamentals
and building confidence. He also pledged a dollar for each

(05:52):
point scored towards the scores.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
For scholarship program.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Now the day was a true celebration of community competition
and the future of Georgia basketball. And if this event
is any indication that the future is extremely bright, hmmm,
you are already now. Now listen s worst, lovelies, We're
gonna shift a little bit. But shifting gears from the
heartwood to the grid iron. Let's head over across the
street to the Falcons, right, who are gearing up to

(06:17):
take one of those peskys Saints ain't since we would
call it, but listen's worts, lovelies, it's time we got
to have real talk, real sports talk about Falcons quarterback right,
because things are serious out here in the NFC South
and well, Michael Pennas junior, he's suffered a season in

(06:37):
the injury injury just tearing his ACL during the falcons
thirty to twenty seven loss to the Caroline of Panthers
last week. And listen, that means the Falcons are officially
turning to the backup quarterback Kirk Cousins to take the him. Now,
Cousins is no stranger to pressure, but step it in
mid season with a playoff implication on the line, that's

(07:00):
gonna be a whole different challenge. And now listening to
the Falcons are now relying on experience, decision making, and
leadership to just keep their playoffs hopes alive.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
But here's the thing, here's the kicker.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
This upcoming game, Yes the Saints is just another Sunday matchoff,
It's gonna be a must win. The NFC South is tight,
every single loss counts. With a three or four record
and injuries piling up, the Falcons will need a statement
performance to show the division at elite that they're still contenders.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Expect aggressive play calling, fast paced offense, and b Jo
and Robinson look carrying a ground game on defense. Atlanta
Wilnete Creek Turner was in put pressure on whoever is
taking snaps under the center for the Saints. But look,
we have no room for mistakes at all.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Zero okay you hear me, sports and Lovelies.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Zero room for era. But most importantly, Cousins is back
front and center. But the pressure is on. The Falcons
have to play smart, play physical, and play like their
season depends on it, because you know what it does.
Kickoff is at four to twenty five and if you're listen,
if you're in the A or in New Orleans, you
already know the energy gonna be nets level, So rise

(08:16):
up Falcons fans, the States couldn't get any higher.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Check it out, Kick off again, It's for twenty five.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Let's rise up, all right, all right, sports levelies, let's
switch gears again from the grid iron to the pitch
because we got to dive into some big LA and
United off season news. Now, listen, we've got major LAI
United news and a full shift in the club's identity.
So let's go ahead and just break it down. First off,

(08:44):
Brooks Leninx, right, the heartbeat of the right side is
officially no longer with the team now. Lenond who primarily
was it right back but also stepped up as a
midfielder and weinger we needed, gave Atlanta five season of
relentless work leadership and see his departure closes a huge
chapter for the Five Stripes. And then we have the

(09:06):
legend himself Bred Guns and Guns, who has retired after
defining an era in Atlanta with his leadership and presidence
and goal Guns and hangs up the gloves as one
of the most respected players in a club history. His voice,
his experiences, connection with the supporters just impeccable.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Right, just irreplaceable.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
But here's where the story shifts. Listen, Atlanta is bringing
in just he. Look, this is not gonna be just
any old coach or a new coach. The club is
bringing back Tata Martine, the man who helped build Atlanta
nightis identity from day one. Now Tassa returns for a
second tenure, signing a two year deal through twenty twenty seven.

(09:48):
And the best part, he's not new here. He's not
learning the city, this fan base, or the standard he
has created it. Okay, Now, this is a coach who
led Atlanta to its iconic twenty eighteen MLS Cup championship,
the one who established the high tempo, fearless attacking style
the city fell in love with.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Now he's back.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
He's back to restore the culture, rebuild the identity, and
push the club into a new era. But yes, Lennon
is gone guns and you know guns and has retired
and changes here. But Tata's return is gonna sit in
on something better. Atlanta United is ready to reclaim who
it is. Now listens for its lovelies.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Coming up after the break.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
It's my EHL Gladiators news, So stay tuned.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Will be bad.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Oh welcome, welcome back for the lovely since that time
for hockey news. Yes, e chl the Gladiators, glad Fins,
stand up and listen. Let's jump right on into it
because Atlanta Gladiators. They returned to Yal South Arena on
Saturday night and made a statement with a four and
two win over the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Now from the opening face off you could feel the intensity.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Heavy hits and a whole lot of chirpin set the
tone early.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
This rivalry hit it up very fast.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Greenville struck first late in the opening period, but Atlanta
responded in the second with authority. At nine twelve, Mike
mcnemi tightened up thanks to a while looking to flesh it,
and not even a minute later, Joi chief Polone buried
the go ahead goal to put Glads in front. He
wasn't done either. After Greenville tighten up heading into the third,

(11:35):
Atlanta took control. Ryan Nolan scored the goal ahead goal
just over three minutes in and Joey chief Polone added
his second of the night, Yes second goal to make
it four in two. But the big moment Ethan Hayter Yes,
stopping in one a one at eight forty to keep
the glass in control. Now Atlanta held strong. The crowd

(11:57):
was electric as the wind improved. The team to sending
it their message to the South Division. They're here to stay.
Now Atlanta's right back at it today this afternoon to
face South Carolina Steamray.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
So stay tuned.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Our Atlanta Gladiator coverage continues kinding up after the break,

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Do you have your cups? Yes?

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Okay, clankling clean cling everyone, Yes, it is our sports teeth. Hey,
you know this is the time we talked off the
hill news because even in sports we need a little
pop culture to spice thens up. So last week Cardi
b blestogram with her first public picture of her newborn
baby was Stephan Dicks. Now, as expected, the internet lost it. Why, Well,

(13:17):
there was a massive rock on her fingers, sending engagement
vibes and rumors into overdrive. But hold up, hold app
TMZ has come forward and said that was not an
engagement ring, folks, please calm down. So okay, no wedding
bills just she had, but instead, Cardi B, she had, you.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Know, got a real sentimental with sharing. So this is
what she said.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Quotes My life has always been a combination of different
chapters in different seasons.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
My last chapter was the beginning of a new season.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
A new baby into my world, and one more reason
to be the best version of me en quotes on translation.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Cardi B playing for dy.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Chests on life, new music, new album, new baby, and
she's winning at all of it. So while we're sitting
here waiting for engagement updates, let's just appreciate the queen
leveling up harder than.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Any MVP we've seen this season.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Okay, so listen the moral of the story, Sometimes the
only ring you need is a big ass rock to
remind the world that you're living your best season. The
at it now listens for slvies.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
I see your Cardi b I see you coming up
after the break. We'll be going into some while off
the film moments, and it all had us sing hmm,
shaking my head an orang, a rookie NFL debut at
home burglary and a warning.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
To some bold burglars, don't you go anywhere.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Our estimate ong moment is coming up next.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
My god, Oh.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
No she didn't, Oh no she didn't. Oh oh no,
this was for Jurney.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Welcome back, Welcome back to sports celebilies. Our smh ong
moment is upon us.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yes, listen to sports ce lovelies. Oh my goodness, when
I tell you, I am just taking it back at
valerberg astid Now listen, brace yourselves, because this one is wild.
Imagine making your NFL debut and then coming home to
a mess of a home where someone has entered into
your personal space. Yes, hmmm, disgusting and quite disturbing. Well

(15:50):
that was the case for Sudoor Sanders, whose house in
Ohio was burglarise while he was on the field playing
his first NFL game against the Ravens on the Wifter sixteenth.
And yeah, you heard that right now. Three mass suspects
reportedly broke in around six forty six pm Eastern standard
tying rifle through his place for about twelve minutes and
made off with roughly catch this two hundred thousand dollars

(16:13):
in property. Yeah, we're talking clothes, hat, sunglasses, and we're
look here's the kicker. Jurry was left untouched.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah see why now exactly?

Speaker 1 (16:29):
But listen the Medina County Sheriff's office, the Zona Gates
Banora rests have been made yet and Sanders, well, he's
keeping us cool, saying his mentality and emotional He's emotionally
fine and fully cooperating with the authorities. Now listen, my
SMH moment alert. Is this making your NFL davy is
supposed to be a high point, but instead you got

(16:50):
it on once at home visit from some thieves. Yes,
but here's the serious takeaway. While the loss is INPN,
the most important thing here is should work his life.
He's safe and his loved ones are safe, and that's
what truly matters.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
But here's my message to those burglars.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Hello, you might think this was an easy score, messing
with someone's home and family is.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Never worth it. And guess what the law is coming
for you.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
And that is my SMH on g Moment for the week,
be sure to check out Chicks in the Square side.

Welcome back, Welcome back to Sports the Lovelies from Detroit

the head of behind Snooping for Love. She inspires us
shries rebuild and redefine their futures. Sports Lovelies, please welcome

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Chicks in a Sports.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to Chicks and the Sports. And I
just want to ask you, and for people that are
meeting you for the very first time, how do they
describe you a snoop or tell me a little bit
about who you are and just really what the business
is about the book TV cameras, lights, camera, act you.

(18:46):
We just want to talk about who you are? Who
is Snoop? Break it down for us?

Speaker 4 (18:51):
All right? Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
So my name is Snoop Dillard. I'm a serial entrepreneur.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
I own several different brands, but to that people would
be most familiar with this Esco restaurant in Tapas, which
I own with the Rapper two chains, and I also
own Remedy Spot in Salon Suites. Both of those brands
are franchised. I also have a luxury car service, a dispensary,
just recently created executive producers starting my own reality show

(19:21):
which is called Snooping for Love. Currently it's on Apple
TV and two B. Then the last quarter of this year,
I also released a book.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
It's a two part book.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
That's one side is called who Is Snoop, so it's
more so an autobiography, and then the other side is
called Grief, Grow and Go, and so it's a self
help book for people that have experienced grief and just
have been in that space of not knowing how to
pick up and go and live life again.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Awes, oh my gosh, you are just multitalented.

Speaker 4 (19:58):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Now, please just.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Tell us a little bit about just the show, the
new show Snooping for Love. I'm already getting a buzz,
So just talk about what made you to decide to
jump into like the dating show world and what has
been just the funniest or the most unexpected moments so far?

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Absolutely? Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:17):
So I had a great time filming and executive producing
Snooper and for Love. What made me decide to do
Stupid for Love is that I was going through a divorce.
I had publicly announced that I was going through a divorce,
and so I had a lot of ladies coming into
my dms and my mboxes, and I just got this idea.
I used to love watching Flavor of Love back in
the day, and I said, man, it awesome if I

(20:40):
filmed the show that was similar to that. There had
never been anything done like that as far as like
in the LGBTQ lane, so I thought that there would
be something different and something that folks would be excited about.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
So yeah, so I ended up doing that. And what
was the other part of your question?

Speaker 1 (20:58):
I'm sorry, do you have any I guess one of
the funniest or most unaccepted moments.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
Sure, yeah, one of.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
The funny funniest moments that has kind of been going
viral on social media is when I had to cut
one of the girls for not having her hygiene up.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Yeah, so that's that episode two.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
It's a dinner scene and yes, one of the girls
get sent home for you know, having a too loud
of a smell.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Oh to say the least.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Wow, lady, well listens, do you are known as a
fearless entrepreneur? Out of all the businesses that you are running,
which one taught you the most about yourself?

Speaker 5 (21:43):
Well, definitely the restaurant industry. The restaurant industry, you know,
is it's a very difficult industry. It's one that you know,
you you have to be lying hearted to be in.
You know, it's a lot of paying attention to details.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
It is an.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Industry that fels along and it's parallel to whatever is
going on in the economy and in the world. So
you know, we made it through COVID and just through
a lot of different economical times. It is one that
you know, you have to rely on your staff for
a lot. You know, you can be a great business owner,
but you know, if you know, all your cooks call

(22:20):
in one day, you know, you're in big trouble. So
being in the hospitality industry definitely helped shape me into
the entrepreneur that I am today and for sure taught me.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
The most out of all of the businesses that I own.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Wow, that's amazing. But can we talk a little bit
about the book. I know that you shared a lot
about your personal journey. What is one message you hope
someone takes away after read it? And even if they
only remember one thing, what would that one thing be?

Speaker 5 (22:52):
What I hope that people take away after reading my
book is that you can make it through anything.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
We all are put here for a reason.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
We all have a different journey, we all have a
different story, and you are going to go through, you know,
some ups in life, which you're also going to go
through some downs as well. And I want it to
be very transparent because I'm also in the space of
selling digital products and coaching, and so when you get online,
all you hear is people talking about, oh, how you
can make money and the money that they've made and

(23:22):
all of these good things. But you know, you really
rarely see somebody that's on top, you know, losing an
only child, you know, the way that I did, and
so I wanted to be transparent about that because you know,
I'm not the first and I won't be the last.
But a lot of times people don't really show that
journey and that story, and so I just want people
to know that when you do go through things like that,

(23:44):
you can make it.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
You can pull.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Through absolutely absolutely. Now, listen, you're juggling so much just entrepreneurship,
television show, a book release. Tell us what does a
normal day look like for you?

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Now?

Speaker 1 (23:58):
And it's there anything called normal? Does that even exist.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
In your world? So a typically normal day for me
looks like getting up, you know, having breakfast.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
I get my three meals in lots of protein. I
work out.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
I have a gym in my home, so I'm able
to kind of keep up, you know, with the fitness
being that I do have a have a gym in
my house. Uh generally, so I generally do not book
any meetings before eleven am. Uh, So try to have
like slow mornings, you know, have my tea, all those

(24:33):
good things, you know, read my daily devotion, uh, and
then I kind of jump into my day. I try
not to have more than three meetings and one day.
Sometimes I can't help it. Especially a period like right
now when I've got the book in the show and
all these things that I'm trying to push and then uh,
the evening time is generally, you know, for me, you know,

(24:55):
it's generally.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Something that I take for myself.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
Right now, I am, as I was mentioned, I'm a
consultant and a coach helping people get into the Salon suite.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
So I do a lot of challenges and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
So it's a very busy season right now, but the
weekends are definitely just for me. I am on tour
for Snooping for Love right now, so like, for example,
tomorrow I'll be going to New York. So I guess
I would say a day in the life of Snoop
is always different every single day.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Wow, oh my gosh, so busy, just busy, busy, busy. Now,
as you step into just this new phase of your career,
what are you just most excited for people to discover
about you and something that they just probably haven't seen yet.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
I'm most excited for people just to see like the
real side of me versus just the business side, to
you know, kind of see I guess a little difference
in who I am now post losing my daughter, I
feel like I feel like, you know, it's like my
life has been cut in happen. I feel like one
half is when she was here on earth and another
half is you know, her no longer being here and

(26:02):
the type of person that that's made me, which is
a more humble, empathetic person. So I'm excited about showing
that side of myself.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Absolutely, Oh my gosh, your story is so inspirational, but
most important, please plug in how we can watch the
show again, Snooping for Love and also tell us how
we can get your book as well.
